Scripture and God

The authority by which every claim is tested and the God revealed in its pages.

Scripture Is the Final Authority

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final binding authority for doctrine, discernment, and faithful living.

We believe there is one true God, revealed as Father, Word/Son, and Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ is God manifested in genuine human flesh.

Salvation and the new birth

The Gospel response, continuing faith, and the warnings Scripture gives believers.

We believe the new-birth response given in Acts 2:38 requires genuine repentance and faith, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We believe salvation is God’s gift by grace through faith, and that believers must continue in living, obedient faith because Scripture warns that a person may depart from Christ and fall away.
