What has been reported
Indian officials said MT Petro Dolphin was struck by a drone at Sohar Anchorage on October 11. Nine Indian crew members were rescued and two remained missing. In a separate incident a projectile caused a fire aboard MT Valthera; its 11 Indian sailors were reported safe.
AFP reported that India's shipping minister, Sarbananda Sonowal, said MT Petro Dolphin, carrying 11 Indian seafarers, was attacked at Sohar Anchorage off northern Oman on October 11. Nine were rescued and two remained missing, with local search-and-rescue efforts underway.
AP independently reported India's Foreign Ministry account of two missing Indian seafarers after Sunday's drone strike. These are attributed official accounts; the missing sailors must not be described as confirmed deaths.
AFP and AP also reported a separate incident involving the Marshall Islands-flagged MT Valthera: an unknown projectile caused a fire, but all 11 Indian crew members were reported safe. Do not combine the ships' crew outcomes.
The reviewed reports do not establish who launched the attacks. Sohar lies on Oman's Gulf of Oman coast, outside the Strait of Hormuz; the Petro Dolphin incident should not be relocated inside the strait.
These October 11 incidents are distinct from the older CAPE DAO and U.S.-Iran shipping entries and retain their own dated historical identity.
Why this is being watched
New attacks affecting commercial vessels and leaving seafarers missing materially add to documented civilian shipping exposure around the Gulf and Hormuz approaches. The unresolved rescue outcome warrants developing status. Regional conflict conditions are relevant to the watch, not proof of Revelation 9 fulfillment.
Continued harm to merchant crews and vessels along critical Gulf shipping routes can increase rescue, security and escalation pressures. Responsibility, damage extent and the missing seafarers' outcome require further verified reporting.
These incidents do not establish World War III or Sixth Trumpet fulfillment. The release of four angels bound at the Euphrates, an identifying Euphrates-centered event, a two-hundred-million force, the distinctive prophetic fire, smoke and brimstone markers, and one-third mortality remain unestablished. A reported drone strike or shipboard fire is not proof of those markers. The evidence does not independently identify the attacker, establish Iranian responsibility, or confirm the missing sailors' deaths.
The Sixth Trumpet and War at the Euphrates
Direct war, regional alliances, military mobilization, weapons of mass destruction, and events centered on or spreading through the Euphrates and Persian Gulf region are tracked without treating preliminary conditions as fulfillment.
United States and Iranian forces are directly exchanging strikes, including attacks involving warships, ballistic missiles, military bases, and oil tankers.
The conflict includes direct U.S.-Iran exchanges, repeated attacks on commercial shipping near Hormuz and in the Black Sea, deadly attacks at Saudi airports, an attack on an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, renewed fighting across Yemen, and Saudi-supported operations around Bab el-Mandeb.
Britain and France have announced defensive support for Saudi Arabia, Saudi, Turkish, and Pakistani military chiefs have moved their joint-defense agreement into stated coordination, and the United States has sent another carrier and amphibious group toward the region. No broader international force matching Revelation 9 is established.
No reviewed evidence establishes the immense force numbered in Revelation 9:16.
The catastrophic mortality described in Revelation 9:18 has not occurred.
