What has been reported
Bulgarian authorities said HS Dignity sank after a drone strike off Shabla on October 13; five sailors were rescued and 11 remained missing. Chelsea-3 was attacked separately off Byala, with all 15 crew members rescued.
Bulgaria's Transport Ministry said HS Dignity, carrying 16 crew and sailing empty toward Braila, was struck by a drone at about 01:20 on October 13 and sank 17 nautical miles east of Shabla. Five survivors were assisted by nearby vessels.
Reuters reported 11 sailors remained missing and a search-and-rescue effort was underway. Missing crew members must not be described as confirmed dead without further official reporting.
The ministry said Chelsea-3 was attacked minutes earlier 17 nautical miles east of Byala. All 15 crew members were rescued; Reuters reported none was seriously injured.
Bulgarian leaders condemned the attacks and sought additional maritime and air-surveillance support. Bulgarian officials did not establish responsibility; Russian responsibility, Ukrainian responsibility, and third-party explanations remain disputed claims.
The incidents occurred near Bulgaria and within its Black Sea maritime spaces, not on established evidence inside Bulgarian territorial waters. They must not be presented as an attack on NATO territory or an alliance activation.
Why this is being watched
The sinking of a merchant ship, missing seafarers, and a second commercial-vessel attack near a NATO member materially expand the geographic and civilian-shipping consequences of regional war. The incidents are significant to the wider-conflict watch while attribution and alliance consequences remain unresolved.
Repeated attacks near Black Sea trade routes may prompt stronger surveillance, maritime security, rescue coordination, or defensive deployments by regional states and NATO. Those steps and any attribution require separate confirmation.
These attacks do not establish World War III, an attack on NATO territory, NATO intervention, or Sixth Trumpet fulfillment. The release of four angels bound at the Euphrates, an identifying Euphrates-centered event, a two-hundred-million force, the distinctive prophetic fire, smoke and brimstone markers, and one-third mortality remain unestablished. The available evidence does not establish who launched the attacks.
The Sixth Trumpet and War at the Euphrates
Direct war, regional alliances, military mobilization, weapons of mass destruction, and events centered on or spreading through the Euphrates and Persian Gulf region are tracked without treating preliminary conditions as fulfillment.
United States and Iranian forces are directly exchanging strikes, including attacks involving warships, ballistic missiles, military bases, and oil tankers.
The conflict includes direct U.S.-Iran exchanges, repeated attacks on commercial shipping near Hormuz and in the Black Sea, deadly attacks at Saudi airports, an attack on an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, renewed fighting across Yemen, and Saudi-supported operations around Bab el-Mandeb.
Britain and France have announced defensive support for Saudi Arabia, Saudi, Turkish, and Pakistani military chiefs have moved their joint-defense agreement into stated coordination, and the United States has sent another carrier and amphibious group toward the region. No broader international force matching Revelation 9 is established.
No reviewed evidence establishes the immense force numbered in Revelation 9:16.
The catastrophic mortality described in Revelation 9:18 has not occurred.
