What has been reported
A July 2026 report and the Temple Institute's own materials document continuing work on sacred vessels, priestly garments, and ritual readiness. The reviewed evidence does not establish government authorization, Temple construction, or resumed daily sacrifices.
On July 21, 2026, JFeed reported that the Temple Institute had prepared more than 70 primary and secondary sacred vessels. The Institute's own website describes completed vessels, priestly garments, education, research, and practical preparation for a future Temple.
The Institute also states that it has conducted red-heifer preparation and a practice exercise, while explicitly saying that the resulting ashes were ineligible and that the status of four heifers at Shiloh had not been definitively determined.
Israel's Prime Minister's Office has publicly maintained that the Temple Mount status quo has not changed. None of the reviewed sources establishes authorization to construct a Temple or the resumption of the daily sacrifice.
Why this is being watched
These preparations are relevant because Daniel describes a future interruption of sacrifice, which presupposes that sacrificial service is first operating. Preparatory capacity is therefore worth documenting, but preparation must not be reported as construction or fulfillment.
Organizations committed to rebuilding are preserving knowledge, producing ritual objects, and increasing practical readiness that could shorten the time required if political and religious conditions changed.
The evidence does not prove that a Temple has been authorized, that construction has begun, that a biblically valid red-heifer purification has occurred, that sacrifices have resumed, or that a prophetic timetable can be dated.
The Third Temple and Resumption of Sacrifices
Preparations, authorization, construction, ritual readiness, and the actual resumption of sacrifice are tracked as distinct developments.
The Temple Institute publicly documents completed vessels, priestly garments, research, and ritual preparation.
Red-heifer and ritual-readiness claims require continuing primary-source review; the Institute says no valid ashes have yet been produced.
The reviewed sources do not establish government authorization or an active Temple construction program.
The daily Temple sacrifice has not resumed.
