Lyrics

Intro — spoken

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2. Scattered pieces; one timeline.

Verse 1 — Beginning of Sorrows

Matthew 24: “Be not deceived,” False Christs come dressed as what the world wants to believe. Wars and rumors, nations rising, famines, plagues and quakes; Jesus called them birth pains—not the end, but what it takes. Saints face hatred; false prophets rise; Lawlessness turns love cold while deception multiplies. Still the gospel of the Kingdom reaches every nation; Then the end can come—remember Christ’s declaration.

Chorus

This is the timeline—search out the matter, Prophets laid the pieces; now watch them gather. Daniel saw the kingdom; John recorded the Beast; Paul exposed the lawless one; Christ supplied the key. Covenant, temple, sacrifice denied, Forty-two months till the King arrives. Not seven years of tribulation—read every line: The final half is trouble. Now follow the timeline.

Verse 2 — Covenant and Temple

Daniel 9: one week remains concerning Israel, A final seven years—but hear the difference well: A coming ruler strengthens a covenant with many; That starts the seventieth week, not Tribulation already. For sacrifice to cease, sacrifice must first begin; A holy place must stand before the Beast can enter in. At the middle of the week, the mask is torn away; He stops the daily offering and shows whom he obeys. The covenant spans seven, but Christ defined the pain: “When you see the abomination”—then tribulation reigns.

Verse 3 — The Man of Sin

Second Thessalonians 2: the falling away, Then the man of sin is openly revealed upon that day. He sits within God’s temple, lifting up his throne, Above all called God, declaring God is what he’s become. Daniel says he speaks against the Highest, crushing saints; A time, times and half a time defines his evil reign. Forty-two months, twelve-sixty days—the prophets synchronize: Three and one-half years of trouble till the true King fills the skies.

Bridge — Christ’s Warning

Jesus said, “Let him which readeth understand.” When the abomination stands within the holy land, Let Judea flee—don’t turn back for anything you own; False Christs show great wonders, saying Christ is here—but no. As lightning crosses heaven when it flashes east to west, So the coming of the Son of Man will manifest. Don’t follow secret chambers or deceptive signs: His return is seen by all—remember the timeline.

Verse 4 — The Beast System

Revelation 13: from the sea the Beast ascends, Seven heads and ten horns; the dragon strengthens him. A deadly wound is healed; the wondering world will follow; For forty-two months he speaks blasphemy, proud and hollow. Making war upon the saints, demanding worship’s breath, The False Prophet raises up an image under threat. He calls down fire, deceives the earth, exalts the Beast’s name; Those refusing image worship are commanded to be slain. A mark upon the forehead or within the right hand; Without its name or number, no one trades across the land. But Revelation 14 warns what compromise will cost: Those who take the mark and worship him are eternally lost.

Verse 5 — Two Witnesses

Two witnesses in sackcloth preach twelve-sixty days, Turning waters into blood and striking earth with plagues. None can end their mission till their testimony’s done; Then the Beast leaves them in Jerusalem beneath the sun. For three and one-half days, the nations celebrate— Then God breathes life inside them; they rise upon their feet. A voice from heaven calls them, “Come up here,” before their foes; A terrified world watches as the two prophets go.

Chorus — repeat

Verse 6 — Kings Gather

Daniel 11 shows conflict at the time of the end: The South attacks; the North comes like a whirlwind. He floods through nations, but his triumph won’t endure; News out of the east and north enrages him to war. Demonic spirits gather kings through signs that they perform, To the place called Armageddon, unaware of coming storm. The bowls release God’s anger; Babylon meets her fall; The armies gather proudly, but the Lord has seen it all.

Verse 7 — The King Returns

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days,” The sun turns dark, the moon withdraws, stars fall from their place. Then the Son of Man comes in the clouds; the nations cry; A trumpet sounds; His angels gather all His saints on high. Revelation 19: heaven opens, white horse in the sky; Faithful and True comes judging, flames of fire in His eyes. The Beast and False Prophet fall; their kingdom meets its end; The lawless one is broken by the brightness of His advent. The counterfeit said, “I am God,” but truth destroys the lie: Jesus Christ is King of kings—that completes the timeline.

Final Chorus — repeat

Outro — spoken

Watch therefore, for you do not know the hour. Not fear—faith. Not speculation—the Word. The Beast has forty-two months; then Christ takes His throne.
