  1. on a piece of paper that we believe God where it's not a blind faith that we have Lord you reveal yourself to your people. Lord you promised Lord in your word that those who love you and those who obey you and keep your Commandments that you would come and manifest yourself to them. Well, that's what your word says and Lord you are faithful to that. The Holy Spirit comes and and confirms to us and bears witness that we are children of God when we are born again. And Lord I thank you that we can know you Jesus and not just about you Lord and that's what it's all about Lord you we were created to know you. We were created to have fellowship with you. We were created to to worship you and adore you and love you and you and you love us Lord. And we're just grateful Lord. We're grateful that you're merciful and patient. We're grateful that you're just and holy. You are righteous and there is none like you. God none like you Jehovah. None like you almighty God. None like you Lord Jesus Christ. Lord we just worship this morning. We give thanks. We give praise. We declare and exalt you for who you are the king of kings and the Lord of lords the God of all gods. You are the mighty one the holy one the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the true God. All other gods are false gods. We exalt you. We bless you this morning. The mighty name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise be to God. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. You know I think even though that we are a Pentecostal charismatic leaning church of course believing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit believing in the fivefold ministry um believing in in praise and worship and all that that means. um I still think we've have a long way to go to learn some things about worshiping God and loving God and giving praise to God. And the Lord just kind of laid this on my heart. I remember years ago um there was a teaching in the 80s that started kind of in the in the 80s maybe in the late 70s but I remember it in the 80s and and even in the 90s where they talked about there were seven different Hebrew words just for the word praise in the Old Testament. And sometimes just translated praise but they're really different Hebrew words.

  2. And I remember that study and I and I'm pretty sure that I taught on worship when I had the church in Montgomery. um but I've never taught on it like I'm about to um because I started digging even further into the scriptures on this matter. And um I began to see there were a whole lot more words for worship and praise and and exalting God than just those seven words that got to be so popular back in in the 80s. And listen it was good that it got popular because a lot of people learned um biblical worship and what that was about and truly what it means to worship God. Now I don't know how far we'll get into some of those words today but I want you to understand and I just put worship and warfare today on this message but really it could be really entitled the war over your worship. Okay. But anyway the war over your worship there's a war the devil you know you look at it this way. God created you to give glory to him. He created you um to fellowship with him. He created you to honor and glorify him. Just the fact that he made you and I in his image um shows that we are supposed to reflect him and we are supposed to be like him and love him and be close to him and all those things. um But the devil is out there too. Satan Lucifer uh the adversary um we're going to look at some things about him today but he's after your worship. And Lucifer doesn't care what he can get you. If he can get you to worship him then he likes that. But if he can't get you to directly worship him then he will try to get you to worship something else. He will try to get you to adore honor bow to idolize something else. And it's important that we know that that the war going on in our lives is over our worship. It's over our adulation. It's over our for our love. And you're either going to give it to God 100% or you're going to give it to some other God some other idol some other demon or some or or the devil himself or you're going to give it to some person or thing that you idolize. But you're going to worship something. This is something we just need to settle down in us. You and I human beings are created with an innate desire and and we're just built that way that we're going to worship something. We're going to praise something. We're going to love something.

  3. See what I'm saying? And here's here's what I'm getting at. If we can learn to put God first then we will be able to truly love the people around us the way we should. But the moment we don't put God first is the moment that everything gets messed up. Listen if the devil wasn't after worship why would he create so many false religions? He hides behind all these different names Krishna Vishnu Allah Buddha Maitreya He creates all these names. He had all these different gods in the Old Testament Baal Beelzebub Ashteroth Molech Malcolm all these different names but you know what they all point to one being. Satan right? And he would do anything to get somebody to bow to a statue. If he couldn't get somebody to bow to a statue and worship Baal then he would create a female deity like Ashteroth. He'll do anything he had. You know that's why they had all those different gods and deities. The demons and Satan himself would reveal themselves to these people in different ways and get them to worship them as God but it's always been about that. It's always been about your worship. Now another thing before we dive into this we need to understand as Christians not only not only is this area important to us in our fellowship and our relationship with God and just being what we are created to be. I mean you want to tell me why why some people are depressed and discouraged they're just not being what God created them to be right? I mean God created us to worship him to love him to be close to him and if we won't worship him and if we won't draw near to him then we're really frustrating the very reason we were created right? But anyway before I get into this I I want you to know too that your worship is also a powerful weapon against the spiritual warfare that Satan brings against you. All right? Now I'm going to show you this and none of us including me in here and I'm going to tell the truth none of us I don't think really understand how worship singing praising God exalting God speaking those things out of our mouth truly lifting up the name of Jesus and exalting him and praising him and singing to him lifting our hands bowing before him all the things that we'll see are parts of worship all those things cause the devil and demons great pain and agony. It causes the power of God literally to come into the situation whether you feel it whether you see it or not at that moment but literally when you begin to truly worship and praise

  4. God God says that he inhabits the praises of his people. This is a an amazing phenomenon. That's why it's important that your your life of worship is not just on Sunday mornings. Amen. It should be seven days a week as much as you possibly can. And again we're going to see all the reasons for this but I want to show you just a few scriptures first and this is kind of an introduction today I guess you would say but go to John chapter 4. Now this is a familiar scripture it ought to be to many but we have to lay the foundation here on this. When Jesus was having a discussion with the woman at the well the Samaritan woman and of course because of Jeroboam's sins when the kingdom split after Solomon because Jeroboam set up a a false religious system in Samaria in in the region of Dan. He set up this false religious system because he was afraid the people would go to Jerusalem to worship and therefore he would lose people even though God gave him 10 tribes and gave Rehoboam only two down in the south. He was afraid if the people left the northern kingdom of Israel and went to the southern kingdom of Judah that he would begin to lose them because of the temple was there. So he created his own his own temple, his own altar, his own sacrifice, his own priest. He created his own system because again the devil got in this situation because what was the war over? The people's worship, right? And so now you had a king of Israel and Solomon of course started this, but a king of Israel began to lead God's people to worship other things. Oh yeah, they still worshiped the Lord God Jehovah, but they just started adding things. Well, guess what? You don't add things. If you're a child of God, you you are born again child of God, you you can't worship other things. You can't have other gods. You can't have other idols. That's why Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me. And that's basically here what Jesus tells this woman at the well because she said, "Our fathers, the Samaritans say we should worship in this mountain. But the Jews say you should worship here." And Jesus doesn't avoid the subject. He actually straightens it out. So let's read this. We'll read a little bit of it. Let's see. Let's go down. All, let's just uh verse five. Then cometh he to the city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well

  5. was there, and Jesus therefore being wearied with his journey sat thus on the well, and it was about the sixth hour. And there cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water, and Jesus saith unto her, "Give me to drink." For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat. Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, "How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria?" For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. And Jesus answered and said unto her, "If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith unto thee, 'Give me to drink,' thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water." Then the woman said unto him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. From whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well and drank thereof himself and his children and his cattle?" And Jesus answered and said unto her, "Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again, but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst. But the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." And of course we know that later on Jesus said, "I am what? The water of life." And the woman said unto him, "Sir, give me this water that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw." And Jesus says unto her, "Go call your husband and come here." And the woman answered and said, "I have no husband." And Jesus said unto her, "Thou hast well said, 'I have no husband.' For thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now has is not thy husband. In that saidest thou truly." Now he got her attention. The woman saith unto him, "Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." And here's the question. Well, he wants it to turn spiritual. Once she realized, "I'm dealing with a holy man." Right? I'm dealing with a prophet here. Here comes the spiritual theological controversial question. Right? That's that's always going to come, you know. "Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship." And Jesus saith unto her, "Woman, believe me, the hour cometh when you shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem worship the Father." So what he's saying is not going to be tied to any place coming. Once Jesus went to the cross and died for our sins, shed his blood, rose from the dead, became that perfect sacrifice, it was no longer bound to a place. Okay? Jesus, we can worship Jesus anywhere. We can worship God anywhere. He's omnipresent anywhere. He's everywhere all the time, right? So that's what he was saying to her, but then he makes sure she understands though where salvation comes from. And he said, "You worship you know not what." So you're worshiping something you don't even know what you're worshiping. You don't even understand. Cuz they were worshiping their false system up there. They had their little

  6. idol up there in Samaria. But he says this. He said, "You worship you know not what. We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." So why did Jesus say that? Because Jesus was going to the scriptures. Salvation or redemption uh the washing away of sin, eternal life, um being reconciled to God, he said was revealed in the scriptures in the prophets, Isaiah and and Jeremiah and through Moses. The redemption was come. All the prophecies pointed to Jesus who would come and be that sacrifice and bring redemption or salvation. So he wanted to make it clear salvation's not in anyone else. It's going to come through the Jews. And that was the promised Messiah from the line of David, from Abraham and then David. The Messiah would come. Prophets prophesied this hundreds, some thousands of years before it happened. Jesus is the only one that fits all those prophecies, right? So he's making it clear salvation is of the Jews. You need to understand and get your worship directed to the right thing. You see what he's doing with this woman? She can't be saved until he gets her to understand you can't worship anything else but me. Y'all see that? "You worship you know not what." It's not a statue of Buddha. It's not a statue of Krishna. It's not Shiva, the goddess of destruction. Who would worship that anyway? That blows my mind, right? But then of course who would worship directly worship Satan? But yet there's millions doing it. But still he says, "You worship you know not what." So he's telling her, "You got to get your focus where salvation is coming from. It's coming from the Jewish Messiah, the promised one, amen. You if you only knew who you were talking to, you would be blown away at the gift of God. You're allowed of who you're sitting here with." Isn't that amazing? Right? So he's saying that we need to get our worship focused in the right place. It's not enough just to worship. A lot of people think, "Well, you know, you just need to acknowledge that there's a a power beyond you." That's the new thing now. That there's a force beyond you. You know what the the the the book of Daniel, written in 600 BC, said that in the end of the Antichrist that what they would worship, they would call it a god of forces. We just want to say there's a force in the universe. We don't want to identify it. You know what I say to those people? You're worshiping you know not what. Salvation is of the Jews, the Jewish Messiah who came 2,000 years ago and died on a cross that was prophesied in Isaiah, that was prophesied in Jeremiah, that was prophesied all the way back to Genesis, that was prophesied that he would be Emmanuel, God with us, the only

  7. true savior, God manifested in the flesh, willingly laying down his sinless life on a cross so that we could be redeemed and brought back to God. That is the only salvation. See, listen, many Christians are going to die and from martyrdom in the days ahead simply for saying that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, to the Father, and to heaven. That is the crime. That's come that that we will be cuz the Antichrist is just going to say, "Whatever works for you. It's just acknowledge that there's a force out there beyond you. That there's an intelligent being in the universe. That there is a creator." No, you're worshiping you know not what. I know what I worship. The Jewish Messiah. Amen. So salvation is of the Jews. So she's starting to get this. Right? And then he tells her, and this is this is what we really want to see here, verse 23. "But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." Oh, now. Did he say just worship anything in spirit? No, he said they that worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth. What is truth? And Jesus say, "I am the way." I love this about Jesus. He didn't say I'm a way. He didn't say I'm a truth. He didn't say I am a life. He said, I am the way. The truth. And the life. No one can know God but through me. John 14:6. Well, that one y'all ought to learn, memorize, get down in you. Amen? Y'all looking at me funny this morning. I'm just giving you some some basic stuff here, but he said that the hour cometh when the true worshiper shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Now, look at verse 25. The woman said unto him, "I know that Messiah is coming." She knew about the prophecies that a Messiah was coming. Which is called Christ or the anointed one. And when he is come, he will tell us all things. And I love this. Jesus saying, "I that speak unto thee am he." Do you know there's people out there that say Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah? They say that the Bible said Jesus said never said he was the Messiah. What did that just say?

  8. Pretty plain, right? Jesus said, "I am the Messiah. The Christ, the anointed one. The one that has come to save us." Right? I love the scripture in Hebrews when it talks about when the when the only begotten son, Jesus came into the world, when he took on a human body and chose to be born of a woman, when he came into the world, said, "Let all the angels of God worship him." Oh, wait a minute now. I thought the angels were only supposed to worship God. That's right. Because this son that was born named Jesus, it says is the wonderful counselor. The mighty God. The everlasting Father. And the Prince of Peace. Amen? So, we know Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He is the Messiah, the anointed one. He's the one that we worship. So, we get that straight, right? Now, I want to show you something. Back up and go to Luke. Luke chapter 4. Luke chapter 4. Now, remember, it's a it's a foundational Christian doctrine that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Any Christian or or branch of Christianity that denies that Jesus Christ is God almighty in the flesh is a cult. It is a false representation of Christianity. It is not Bible. It is not foundational to the word of God. It is a corruption. It is a falsehood. It is a lie. And I can prove it. I can show it to you in every false religion, they have one thing in common. They deny that Jesus Christ was God almighty, the creator in the flesh. Okay? Really hadn't been enough teaching on this in the body of Christ, but what does what does John say? The Gospel of John chapter 1, "In the beginning was the word. The word was with God. And the word was God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made." And then he says, John says, "We beheld him because the word became flesh." Right? Now, let me just explain. Yes, there is in Christianity the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is a three-part revelation of God, but he is one God who simply manifest himself in three different ways, but he is not three different gods. He is not three different entities. Okay? This is something we've got to get

  9. down in us because the Muslims call us polytheist because they think we worship three gods. When in reality, they don't tell you the whole truth because they don't just worship Allah, they got Allah's got three daughters that they worship. They don't tell you that. I think, "Don't call me a polytheist when you got Allah and his three daughters." Right? That directly comes from pre-Islamic times. It's an idol worshipped way, way back before even Muhammad started Islam. Okay? And they know this. I mean, any Muslim that really has studied Islam, he knows. She knows. They know. They don't tell you, but they know. Right? So, let's keep going here. All right. I told you to go back to Luke 4. Now, let's look. When Jesus came, the Bible says, of course, he had to be tempted in all points like we are. So, literally, this is the great mystery. Paul called this. He said, "It's a great mystery of godliness that God was manifest in the flesh." That yet Jesus was fully God, he was fully man. When he took on a human body, he was fully God, fully man, and could be tempted. Now, listen to this, y'all. The fact that he had to be tempted means that the temptation, if it couldn't have happened, if he couldn't have sinned, then it wouldn't be a real temptation. So, the man side of Jesus must have had the possibility, at least, to sin. Right? The God side couldn't. The man side could. It's interesting cuz or the temptation wouldn't real. So, Jesus goes and he's 40 days in the wilderness fasting, praying, and it says 40 days tempted of the devil. Now, we've read this, but I want to focus in on this one. Like, look at this. Luke 4. Verse 1, "And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan and was led by the spirit, the Holy Spirit, into the wilderness, being 40 days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing. And when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, 'If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it should be made bread.' And Jesus answered him saying, 'It is written that man should not live but by bread alone, but by every word of God.' And the devil taking him up into a high mountain showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, 'All this power will I give thee and the glory of them, for that is delivered unto me, and to whomsoever I will I give it. If therefore thou wilt worship me, all shall be thine.' And Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.' So,

  10. here we have the devil revealing what he really desires. I mean, the first temptation, he tries to get Jesus to use the power of God when God hadn't directed him to use it. This is something a lot of Christians don't understand. We could talk about that one all day. Right? But then the next temptation was the devil pulled out his ace in the hole. The big one. The one he uses with all the musicians and the singers and the politicians. You guys just don't know how many Most every single famous person today is famous because they have made a deal with Satan. That's why they're all making the Illuminati signs, the three sixes, 666 sign, the eye, the Illuminati eye signs. That's why they're all doing that because they're all telling you that I have made a deal with the devil. Some of them even admit it. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, um what's his name? Um Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, DMX. Most of them a lot of them, even Katy Perry, admit that they've made deals with the devil. Now, this has been well known in the music industry and the entertainment industry for a long time. They literally will have you sign a contract in your own blood. A real contract selling your soul to the devil saying, "I will worship Satan if I can get all the kingdoms of the world, the glory of them." Means the money and the fame. If I can get that, I'll worship Satan. This is the temptation that the devil pulled out. He was thinking, "Well, you know what? I don't have much time here with Jesus before he puts me on the run. I don't have much time. I've got to use my best. I'm going to go ahead and pull out the big boy here. The big temptation." And what was it about? Worship. Worship me, I'll give you everything in the world, the devil says. Oh, boy. Listen. You want to know? That's why uh I I you know, I put something on Facebook last night about Freemasonry, um the Illuminati, just outright Satanism. There's all these different groups that you can join. They all have oaths and rituals that cause people to worship the devil. Some in the early stages, they don't know what they're doing, but as it progresses, everybody in the 33rd and the 32nd degrees of they know they're worshipping Lucifer, Satan, the fallen archangel. They know it. Okay? And these people are in politics. And what's interesting is you find out about most of these people, they're all very

  11. wealthy. They're all very wealthy, very powerful, very connected. I believe even some of the people that are out there singing that that we think have such great talent, they weren't born with that. That's demonic. That's a spirit, actually, a demon spirit, actually helping them do what they do. Just like with us. You know, the Holy Spirit can fill us and work through us and enable us to do things that we couldn't do. It's a works the same way in the demonic spirit realm. That's why even in martial arts and the martial arts, the the the Buddhist that really get into the spiritual side of things and getting in touch with the what they call the chi, the life force through meditation and chanting and the all their pagan techniques, they're literally tapping into the spirit realm and getting spirits to help them have power against an enemy. I know, I took martial arts. I know how it works. Okay? So, the big boy car. It's over worship, right? I want you to see there's a war over your worship. Why is the devil what what If it's not important, why would he pull that out trying to get Jesus? Hm? He's got to think He's got to think in his head, I got to use my best temptation. I got to try to get him before he goes and does what he's going to do. The devil knew what the Bible said, that he was going to go heal the sick, cast out demons, that he was going to cause the blind to see and raise the dead and the crippled to walk. The devil knew that was what's coming. So, let me stop him. I'm going to use my best temptation. Right? Come worship me. You worship me, I'll give you everything. See, here's what's funny. Jesus was going to get everything anyway. Remember the kingdoms of this world. You read the book of Revelation when it gets down to the end and Jesus returns, what does it say? The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall rule and reign for a thousand years and then for all eternity. Jesus, through his obedience and submission to go and die on the cross for our sins and redeem the planet and pay the price to break the curse and to pay the price to to set us free. He got the right and he knew he was going to win that right by the cross, by his blood. He was going to win that right back for us. See, with the devil there's always a shortcut. These people in the Illuminati and Freemasonry, they actually believe in Satanism. They actually believe that the devil's also going to give them eternal life. But see, what they don't realize is they're trying to take a shortcut. They're trying to take a shortcut to get everything that Jesus wants to give them. But instead of wanting to be righteous

  12. and wanting to be good and and and holy people and submit to the Lord, they want to be evil and lustful and do whatever they want. See, they want they want to have their cake and eat it, too. And the devil feeds in that. I'm going to give you eternal life, I'm going to give you fame, I'm going to give you money, I'm going to give you wealth, I'm going to give you women, I'm going to give you men, I'm going to give you all you want. Sex, sex, sex, drugs, party time. You'll be famous, you'll be rich, you'll have the number one hit song. Just worship me. That's what he says. One day we could just take we could just take a service and go through all the different singers that are worshipping the devil. That's what it's about, folks. Y'all believe me? It doesn't matter. It's the word of God. Amen. Now, I want you to turn with me. Go to the go to Ezekiel. Ezekiel 28. Cuz we're talking about old Lucifer here, Satan. We need to understand why there's such a war over this. Ezekiel 28. I don't have a lot of time to spend on talking about, you know, that the devil and his kingdom. A lot of people think he's in hell. He's not in hell. He's not in the part where God created hell underneath the earth and there is a real hell, a literal hell. He doesn't live there and stay there. The Bible says that he's a prince and power of the air. He dwells in the in in in the region here above us. He lets literally sets up powers and thrones and dominions in high places. Why do you think that's why Ephesians says that, you know, God gives us power over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. They literally set themselves up over kings and dominions and nations and cities. And they will work through leaders as as those leaders allow them, but they set their thrones over over just like in the in the Old Testament, over Nebuchadnezzar. And then it says the prince of Persia would come. And when that demon prince came and changed the guard in the heavens, the things changed down here, right? So, when Ezekiel's speaking here, what's amazing is he's speaking at first, it says, to the king of Tyrus. And all of a sudden he starts talking about he's not talking about the man Tyrus anymore. He's talking about the power that's working through him. And guess what? It just happens to be old Lucifer himself. Right? I'm going to freak y'all out here in a second. All right, but let's read this. He's talking about this. I'm not going to read the whole thing, but go over to verse 11. Ezekiel 28:11. It says, "Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

  13. Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God, Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden, the garden of God. Now, listen, folks, there's only been four people in Eden. God himself, Adam and Eve, and Lucifer, Satan. It's only four people ever got to see it. Ever got to be there. Right? So, he says, "Thou hast been in Eden, the garden of God." So, this is the devil he's talking to. "Every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, the topaz, the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, the carbuncle, and gold. The workmanship Now, listen to this. The workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes were prepared in thee and the day that thou was created." Literally, when Satan was created, God put within him tabrets and pipes. God actually literally made this angel a living, walking musical instrument. And beautiful. And full of wisdom. Right? But he had built-in tabrets and pipes. All right? Y'all with me? He said, "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth." This means an angel that literally covered or was around the throne of God constantly. "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth. I have set thee so thou wast or used to be upon the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways until or from the day that you were created till iniquity was found in you." Iniquity, sin. "By the multitude of thy merchandise I have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned. Therefore, I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God. I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stone of fire. Thine heart was lifted up" or pride came in because of thy beauty, and thou hast been corrupted by thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness." Remember that, brightness. "I will cast thee to the ground. I will lay thee before kings and they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuary by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic. Therefore, I will bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, and it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee." So, God's saying there's going to be a judgment day coming. But he says to this covering cherub,

  14. he says, "You were anointed. You were on the holy mountain of God. You were perfect." You were perfect until iniquity was found in you. What iniquity? And he said, "You were lifted up. The pride came in because of your beauty and wisdom." But go to Isaiah 14. And can I just tell you the devil hates me teaching on this. Hates it. He hates to be known for what he is and what he does. And see, because he was, and I believe this, I believe that he was one of three archangels. And I'm going to give you what what really is real name is. Y'all want Satan's real name before he was before he fell? It was not Lucifer. Now, Lucifer is the Latin translation, and that's fine. It's like Jesús is the Spanish translation of Jesus. It's fine to say Jesús. Jesús Cristos. It's fine to say that. It's correct. Saying Lucifer is a Latin word, and it's correct, and it's okay to say that. And I know the devil and his servants have embraced that name as well. So, this is not an argument, but his name as an angel was Helel. And what's interesting is, and I'll spell it for you in a second. What's interesting is Gabriel, Michael, and Helel. All right? Because all three of their names ended with EL, which means of God. Right? We know that Gabriel appears to be the messenger angel. He always is one sent to give important messages, right? Michael, we know, is the angel of war. He's the warrior angel. He's sent to fight. He is the captain of the angelic host in warfare. But, do you see another area? One carried messages, God's word. Another fights battles. There was another one created for worship. Helel. And literally, that word, that name, the root word of it is a word in Hebrew, hallel, means praise. Think about this. Well, literally, the devil before when he was created, the cherub when he was made to be an angel, he was created for praise. To give praise to God. To lead praise and worship, I believe, in heaven. I believe that's why so many of the

  15. angels went with him when he rebelled. Because he was beautiful. He was beautiful, he was smart, and talented. He had a gift nobody else had. Built-in pipes to make music, to sing. Think about it. Think how he manipulates our world through his music. Now, I'm going to tell you something. This is just my opinion. I think I'm right. In America, and you know, of course, we have people listening to this stuff all over the world. We had some people listening um from uh Why it just left me. Some people listening in from uh it's Syria. Syria. In the midst of a civil war, 70,000 people killed, war going on all over Syria. And somebody's checking our stuff out in Syria. You know, praise God. But, here in America, there was a rock group in the '70s, one of the most popular rock groups of all time, Led Zeppelin. Okay? The most popular Whenever, you know, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, these rock radio stations always have, you know, the top 500 rock songs of all time, you know, and they'll play all weekend long leading up to the number one rock song of all time. Well, listen, it never fails that Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin is always the number one rock song of all time. Uh there's always the close second, of course, is Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Always those two are are right there together. Okay? But, Stairway to Heaven, it is it is well known that Led Zeppelin was deeply involved in the occult arts and in Satan worship. They didn't hide that fact. Their lead guitarist, Jimmy Page, bought Aleister Crowley's house uh in England. Aleister Crowley was the top Satanist who lived in the late 1800s up until about 1940-something. He was known as the wickedest man in the world. He wrote the book magic. He's pretty He's really the father of the Satanic Church in San Francisco, where he visited and started an order. He's pretty much the the the father of the uh Satanic Bible, even though Anton LaVey wrote it, he got most of it from Aleister Crowley. So, Jimmy Page, the the lead guitarist and one of the leaders of Led Zeppelin, bought Aleister Crowley's house because he was so deeply involved in Satanism and witchcraft and the occult and demon worship and demon power, he bought the house and turned it into the largest occult bookstore in the world called Equinox. All right? Now, it's been a proven fact, you can go

  16. on YouTube and still find it. I remember in the '80s hearing the song Stairway to Heaven. And And before I came to Jesus, listen, every weekend I was drinking beer and listening to Sweet Home Alabama and Stairway to Heaven and all that foolishness. Right? So, I knew every word of the song. I could probably still sing it. Most of it doesn't make any sense. Okay? But, he talks about the piper is calling you in the in the song. He talks about the piper is calling you to join him. Well, that pipe That's a reference to the devil. The Pied Piper who's calling you to join him, the demon god Pan. Right? Calling you to join him. He said, "There are two paths you can go by." And the song says, "There are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on." That line, where it's talking about there are two paths, he's talking about following Satan, worshipping Satan, or worshipping Jesus. He knows that, right? So, he said, "There are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on. Come, follow the piper." So, he's really Stairway to Heaven is an invitation to follow the devil. All right? As you play that part backwards, where he says, "There are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on." When they play that backwards, it says, "Here's to my sweet Satan." As plain as day. And you say, "Well, why do they put it in there backwards?" Because Aleister Crowley, the great Satanist, said that all Satanists should learn to do things backwards, speak backwards, talk backwards, walk backwards, do everything backwards. So, they would put it hide it in their song so subliminally it would go into our minds without us knowing it. All right? Greatest rock song of all time. Anyway, I said all that to say this. If you know anything about Led Zeppelin, you know that they had a drummer, John Bonham. They had a guitar player, Jimmy Page. They had a lead singer, Robert Plant. Nobody ever knew the name of that bass player guy. All right? I think they probably never could keep one sober long enough. Right? But, that's all the instruments they had. You can listen to the song Stairway to Heaven, and within the song, you hear these tablets, these pipes, these wind pipes blowing in the song. I've seen them play this live. Okay? Nobody's up there blowing the pipes. I've always believed that old Helel himself, old Lucifer himself, sung with them on that song, played his instrument for them. It's well known by the Illuminati in the Satanist world, the demons that they invite into

  17. recording sessions. And stuff is starting to come out. I mean, there's even video of Beyoncé, things that have been caught, the demons coming up in her face and her throat, cuz now we've got HDTV, and we've got super slow motion, and they People have caught the demon coming up in her face changing as she sang at the Super Bowl this year. There was even one picture that caught what looked to be a spirit coming up out of the floor. And of course, what does she do while she's singing at the Super Bowl? Flashes that Illuminati triangle at you. Yes, I'm a high-level Satanist, and I'm proud of it. Oh, yeah. So, let's go to 14. Let's see what it says about old Lucifer here. Again, it starts out talking about the king of Babylon, and all of a sudden this shift changes, right? Verse four. Isaiah 14, verse four. He says, "Thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, 'How hath the oppressor ceased? The golden city ceased. The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked and the scepter of the rulers.'" Oh, let's go on down. He says, verse nine. He says, "Hell from beneath thee is moved for thee at thy at thy coming. it stirreth up the dead for thee, and all the chief ones of the earth it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak unto thee, and this is what he says when when hell is stirred up to receive Lucifer when he comes into hell, he says, All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we are? Art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave and the noise of thy bowels You hear that? The noise of thy bowels. And he says, The worm is spread under thee. Now, look at verse 12. He says, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the cloud, I will be like the most high. Basically, I will lift myself up, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. Above I will sit upon the mount of the congregation. On the sides of the north, I will ascend to the heights of the cloud, I will be like the most high. I'm going to raise myself up and take God's place. I want what is God's. I will be like the most high. What was the thing about the most high? The most high God was worshipped by the angels, worshipped by

  18. human beings. He wanted the worship. This is all THE DEVIL IS ABOUT, you guys. It's all he's about. But the word here and I'm just going to so I can spell it here. Let me look it for it. When you When you just you pull it up in in your uh Strong's Concordance and you just look at the word Lucifer in the original Hebrew. Now, of course, Lucifer means brightness, it means star, shining star, morning star, a bright star. Literally, the sun in a sense. This is why the Bible calls him an angel of light. All right? But the name the the the pronunciation spelling is h e y l e l, helel. Which means brightness. And again, that's what Lucifer means in Latin. Okay? A lot of our words, English words, have Latin origins. Okay? Again, nothing People want to argue, Oh, his name's not Lucifer, that's a bad translate. No. It's just like that would be like telling me, okay, you have Jesus written in your Bible and then you had Jesus written in your Bible. And try to tell me one of them's wrong. No, it's just a different language. Okay? Just just a different language, maybe written a little different, maybe pronounced a little different, same thing, same meaning. Okay? Uh cuz I had somebody try to argue with me about this one time. I'm like, Come on, man. Even Satan is called Lucifer. All right? So, let's just let's not get confused here. But I'm just telling you I think he lost his name as helel because he lost his place. Amen? Remember, Jesus talked about us one day. He's going to give us a new name. Amen? I like how he did it with Simon, you know? No, you're you're not Simon, you're Peter. I liked when he looked at James and John, he said, No, you're the sons of thunder. Jesus likes to give us nicknames, you know? And that's a sign of affection, isn't it? I can't I can't wait to hear what mine is one day. What was my nickname, Lord? Cowboy. Oh, like that little girl. I'll tell you what. But anyway, Satan was after worship and he's always been after it. Amen? And he'll try to get you to worship an object, money, a demon, a false idol, or directly him. He doesn't care if if he can pull you away. Now, you got to remember, I believe he led worship in heaven, so he's a worship leader. Can I just tell you from 26 years of

  19. being in the ministry and being involved in churches that the greatest problems in every church is always the worship ministry? He loves to get homosexuals into those positions somehow. Just just so he can sit there and laugh. Haha, this church has got a homosexual leading their worship. Defiling the entire church ministry and worship. I had uh 7 years pastoring in Montgomery and had talented people who could lead worship, but could never win the battle against the enemy and get things straight enough long enough to truly be on a worship team. It took me about 5 years before I had a worship team put together. Yet, I had the people that could have done it. And frankly, I ended up having to lead it because you have to be a warrior. You have to be able to fight. You have to be able to stand. You have to be able to understand that if you're going to be a worshiper, you're going to be the devil's going to try to come and stop you because he hates it. He hates the true pure worship. You want to know why? Cuz he used to be in it. And he wanted it. So, it's not directed toward him anymore. He's thrown out. He doesn't get worship. He doesn't get to be around that anymore. I love that he called him the anointed cherub. Guess what? When he sinned and God threw him out of heaven, he lost the anointing. He knows what the He hates the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He hates true worship from a pure heart. He hates for you to raise your hands, to shout, to dance. He hates for you to worship God out of a pure heart. He hates it. And he'll do everything in his power to stop you from it. So, understand something. When you do it, when you truly put God first, when you truly when you raise your hands, it doesn't matter if you feel anything. When you raise your hands, when you bow your head, when you kneel down, when you lay down, when you shout, when you sing, when you just say something like, Lord, you're wonderful. It's like punching the devil in the face. And it makes God smile. How about that? That's pretty good, isn't it? Pretty good change. It also strengthens you and draws you near to God. And it puts you in those moments that you're doing it, actually doing what you were created to do. Listen, you know what?

  20. I hope when we get there, the first 10,000 years is just a worship service. People say, Well, you'll get bored. I said, No, no, you don't understand. Ain't nothing better. Nothing better. The Lord will have to stop some of us. No, no, you you got to go rule the cities down there I'm giving you. Lord God, I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave. I I I Yeah, I understand, but go do what I got you need you to do. We still got stuff. People say, Oh, we going to get bored in heaven. No, no, no, no. The God of all creation who has no limits, who has no end or beginning is going to have so many things for us. He said, Eye has not seen, ear has not heard the things that God has prepared for them that love him. There's things not even written in this book that God has not even revealed that he's going to do and give us and show us and and man, I can't wait! Amen? But here's the good news. We can experience some of it, not all of it, but we can experience some of it down here if we put him first, if we worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, if we love him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, if we take the time even when we don't feel like it to sing, to raise our hands, to kneel down, even if our knees creak and crack. It doesn't matter. If we will just worship God and exalt his son, Jesus Christ, as King of kings and Lord of lords, it can change everything. Let me show you. I'm going to show you just a few words and then we're going to quit. We'll get into this next week, but just look at these. Here's one of the words for uh for praise. This is yada in the Hebrew. To profess or confess, to offer thanksgiving, and celebrate with hands extended. That's what it means. Look it up in the Hebrew in your Strong's. Let's go to the next one. Just giving you a few of them. zamar. To sing accompanied by a musical instrument. All right, it says here, Sing praises to the Lord which dwelleth in Zion, declare among the people. This is Psalm 9:11. So, he's talking about here it's very clear. Zamor means to sing with a musical instrument. Praise God. Some folks say we're not supposed to have musical instruments in church. They're crazy. Let's go to the Tahillah. Again, this is this a song to sing, a hymn, or a song to give respect to and glory to. So, this is to sing again, but you don't have to have a musical instrument with this one here, Tahillah. And you know what? It's just about songs and singing. Uh but that give God glory and respect. And that's again, that's another way. When we bow our head, when we when we raise our hands, when we kneel down, when we do those things, those are acts of worship, and

  21. they show respect and honor to God when we humble ourselves and worship. And then of course, this is Psalm 22:3, "But you are holy." Speaking to God who inhabits the praises, the Tahillah, of your people. All right? Let's go to the next one. I believe this is a Sha'ar, but it means to sing or to celebrate um anyone with a song to proclaim loudly. So, this is to sing and celebrate loudly. Now, I'm giving you the brief definitions. There's more to some of these, but there you go. To sing, to celebrate loudly. Amen? Sha'ar. Um I will sing unto the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6. Let's go to the next one. Todah. To offer confession and thanksgiving to God. Used of a choir giving thanks to God. So, this is a group of people. So, he says, "You know what? You should worship in a group of people." This is a group of people giving confession. And see, this is when you say, "Lord, you know, I don't deserve you." And maybe you're worshiping say, "I don't deserve your goodness. I don't deserve your forgiveness. I don't deserve the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away." And you're making confession. Lord, forgive me for, you know, uh doing something I shouldn't have done this week. And you but you worship him. This is Todah. And actually, um they didn't put it in this definition, but this also means with extended hands to God. So, there's actually two words, Yadah and Todah, that mean to have your hands extended. All right? To the Lord. He likes lifting up of hands, y'all. It's not just a Pentecostal thing. It's a Bible thing. Okay? All right, let's go to the next one here. Halal. Now, this is the one where the root word of what Satan's original name was. But it means, look at this. To make a show with grand and eloquent words and with outward demonstration even to the point of appearing foolish. All right? That's some good stuff right there. I mean, you know, that's why you see some crazy folks moving around in church a little bit. All right? I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. Again, it's translated praised, but it's really the word Halal. So, you see there's different words. All these words. Yadah is translated praised. Todah is translated praised. All right? Let's go to another one. Alats. This is the Hebrew word for rejoice. I put Psalm 9:2, but it's in other places as well. But rejoice, the Hebrew word Alats means to jump for joy. To jump. I remember going to the Brownsville Revival back in the '90s, in the mid to late '90s. And the sanctuary seated about 2,500 people. And then they had a choir room

  22. and a cafeteria each seated 500. Then they had the old church across the street that seated 1,000. It would be packed to overflowing. All right? And Lindo would get to leading praise and worship, and he was one of the best at it. And he would get to leading praise and worship, and boy, you you'd start seeing the jumping. People in one spot. There's so many people were packed in, you couldn't really dance around, but you could jump up and down in your spot. All right? It got so bad. Think about this. The balcony held about 1,000 people. 1,000 people getting in unison in the balcony. They finally had to stop because it was about to bring down the balcony. All right? But anyway, it is permitted in church to jump up and down for joy. There's nothing wrong with it. Amen? That's Alats. Um that's probably the last one there, isn't it? And there's many more words. I love this one. Let me give you one more. I didn't have time this morning. Um I'll give you a few more. Um where's the word I was looking for? Ah, yes. I love this one. There's another word for rejoice um in Psalm 9:11. It's called Gil, g y i l. And it is the word for rejoice in that verse, and it literally means to spin around. Now, listen to this. This word Gil means to spin around under the influence of any violent emotion. To rejoice, to be glad, joy, joyful, but literally to spin around. It's okay to spin around. Just don't knock anybody down. Don't hit anybody in the face. Amen? Um there's many more words, and we maybe we'll we'll get to them next week. Be glad. I mean, I got 14 right here. And I'm not done yet. Amen? But it's biblical. I love the the ones where it says shout. Let me Let me just read that to you. Shout. Where it talks about shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Here's one. Psalm 47. Ruwa. Right? Means it's the word for shout. And here's what it says. Um to split the ears with sound. That is the Hebrew definition. To to shout for joy. Make a joyful noise in triumph. Shout. Another word, the voice of triumph in Psalm 47. This is the word Rinna, r i n n a h. Rinna. And it means a creaking or shrill sound. That is to shout for joy, gladness. And then there's words for worship, there's words for clap, there's words for bow, there's words for prostrating yourself. So, we're going to look at these things, hopefully, God willing, in more depth. Let's become more of what God created us to be. Worshipers. Amen?

  23. And now I mean, when you're at home, when you're in your car, when you're alone, family time. And you know, this is why, y'all, when I you know, a lot of times I'll do like this, especially to It's like, "Come on. Lift up your voice. Let it be heard. Be loud. God likes it." Amen? He likes us getting into praise and worship. Make it a lifestyle. Because listen, God inhabits those praises, and when God's presence comes into a situation, the devil doesn't like to stay there. Amen? All right, let's pray. Thank you, Lord. Father in heaven, we thank you so much for your word that's true. We ask you, Lord, to just lay it in our hearts to make this Lord a priority in our life. To make worship a priority. That's why I don't I just don't understand why people want to miss church for small reasons. Lord, because you want us to come together. You want us to worship. You want us to sing and praise and and and worship you together. And Lord, you want us to do it at home. You want us to lead our children. You want us to to lead and and do it together with our spouses. And Lord, we've all fallen short in this area. So, I just pray, help us to become those true worshipers who worship you in spirit and in truth. Who who don't wait till Sunday, but worship you all the time. Lord, we love you. We praise you. And we thank you for it this morning. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Did you learn something this morning? Praise God. All right. Well, before we go, we're going to take up the offering this morning. Yes, sir. You sure can. But just wait a second. We're going to pray. Um Andy, would you pray over the offering this morning? Thank you, sir. Amen. Hallelujah. All right, Ian, would you take up the offering for us this morning? Um I want to say um for those listening by internet radio, we're glad you were with us this morning. Hope you were blessed. Uh again, shoot me an email or a Facebook or something. Let me know you were there. I like knowing who's who's out there. Um but God is good. Amen? I remember when I was on the island of Mauritius preaching the gospel. They speak French there. And I learned this phrase. Even though

  24. I'd taken 3 years of French, I didn't know about this phrase. But it was Bonjour et bon tout le temps. Bonjour et bon tout le temps. You know that? Well, you're from Louisiana. You ought to know some French. What does that say? What did I say? Yeah, it's it's what it says. Bon Dieu est bon. God is good. Tout le temps, all the time. And then you say, "Tout le temps?" Bon Dieu est bon. All the time, God is good. Amen. Bon Dieu est bon tout le temps. So, our people from France listening will understand that fully right there. Anyway, love y'all. Will y'all hug someone next before you leave? And uh those of you listening, we will see you next time.
