This is the end your home This is my daily you're there we're lost without you
We need your presence. We need you Holy Spirit. We need you to fill us and lead us and guide us we need you to give us discernment Lord to help us figure out the counterfeit That is fully present in the churches throughout this country and Lord, we pray God you give us discernment this morning in Jesus name and everybody said amen Amen Hallelujah. Well, we welcome everybody to fire and grace church this morning. And yes if Children get a little out of hand. We have a place downstairs Where you can still hear and watch the service we understand we don't do children's church here I think we've avoided a lot of problems with that We're a little different You know There's nowhere in the Bible says you got to have a specific children's church or youth group or any of that In fact when we first started we tried the youth group thing. It was a disaster and I said never again But I want you to open your Bibles this morning we're gonna start in 2nd Corinthians You know This is probably going to be repetitive for some of you today but How is your son doing? We've been praying for him Amen. Well her son Mike we've been praying for him Mike Nichols and Praying that God will do a miracle. He was diagnosed with what was it? It was a colon cancer and it had spread to his liver. So a good report from the doctor. Amen That's good. We just keep praying everybody lift up can remember to keep praying for Mike Nichols. Amen But 2nd Corinthians chapter 11 verse 1 Let me set the stage here a little bit before we read this we're gonna read verses 1 through 4 here And I've read this many times but deception is a great problem in the body of Christ now I've been in this Pentecostal charismatic minefield. I'll call it now for 38 years and actually longer than that when I consider that my Great-grandmother and my great-aunt's took me to the first assembly of God Church of Opelika in oh Gosh, when was that when I was four five six seven years old? So I kind of had a little experience with the Pentecostal full gospel thing when I was a little
Little bitty guy and I knew it was real the gift of tongues. I remember hearing it the first time In that first assembly of God Church the gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues Which is equivalent to prophecy and just as a little guy sitting on about the second pew with my great-grandmother in my heart In my spirit, I knew it was real. I knew it was God Saw people get healed there And then of course later on a few years later We ended up my dad decided to go to the Baptist Church right down here Northside Baptist Church when I was about 11 So around the somewhere in that year between when I was 11 and 12 is when I was truly born again in that church and some evangelists came through and Preached a pretty powerful message and it took four of them in a row to get me To get out of the pew and give my life to the Lord then we fast-forward as I've shared when I was 19 after Falling away from God and living in sin and being completely blinded by the devil for about seven years Drinking and partying and doing drugs and all the stuff I was doing from junior high all the way into college God finally opened my eyes to what real repentance was right and I repented and turned from my sin and and totally surrendered my life to Jesus at 19 1987 and Just a little while later. I'm talking about within weeks just because I was reading the Bible I wasn't able to go to church as I've shared because I was working on Sundays. So my boss could go to church and But just from reading the Bible I saw the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues I saw that clearly I didn't have any pastor or preacher ever teach it to me I just read it from the Bible and said well Lord is what I said I said if the Apostles who spent three plus years with you in personal training and Teaching if they needed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and have the gift of tongues Then I guess I probably need that as well and I was actually in my little room a little prayer room of where I was living at the time in Arkansas and God filled me with the Holy Spirit now I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me But I had to open my mouth and yield to speak in a language the unknown tongue That I had not learned or nobody taught me or anything But I knew I had to take a step of faith out of the boat To receive because one thing God will hand it try to hand it to you, but you've got to receive it Now I say all that to say this There's two extremes that go on right now in the body of Christ particularly in America Also in Europe but also in Africa because we everything we do it ends up going over to Africa the good and the bad Right. We are America's a Spreader of stuff, you know, and sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not so good
But one of the things that we have two extremes we have the extreme of the parts of the church that just deny and Reject the gifts of the Holy Spirit completely God doesn't heal anymore though Every time somebody gets sick you find them having a prayer time for them I'm like that kind of contradictory there, but anyway But we know that God has not changed. God is the same yesterday today and forever, right? But there's there's entire denominations of the church world from Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists Who am I leaving out Lutheran Nazarene Church of Christ? I know I'll leave out somebody's favorite Presbyterian but that deny the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit are still for today and Then there's the other side of that coin and this is the side of the coin that's troubled me for many years and That is the side of the coin that there's a part of the church world. That is so Striving for supernatural things to happen dreams visions Miracles prophecies healings that they have stepped over into the counterfeit because they have made an idol out of seeking power Instead of seeking the Lord and waiting on the power and we have entire Ministries like Bethel for instance that teach you can teach people how to prophesy No, you don't teach people how to prophesy you want to tell you how you learn to prophesy when you're with the Lord enough that he starts giving it to you and you realize it's him and so much of what is now given forth in the church world in America in particular as The gift of prophecy is a counterfeit. It's divination. It's familiar spirits It's false, but it sounds right see and this is this this is the terrible thing It can sound right but it can be the wrong spirit There are acts 16 when the woman who was possessed with the spirit of divination was following Paul and going to prayer meetings I mean she was going to church She's going to church with them every day, right? Every day and they said these men are servants of the Most High God that show us the way of salvation She was prophesied, but Paul being grieved in his spirit See her words were right But the spirit behind her was wrong and the Holy Spirit was not going to allow the Apostle Paul to let her infiltrate and content The ministry I have to tell you right now that this is not the case in
ninety nine point nine nine nine nine nine nine nine percent of Pentecostal and Charismatic churches they have allowed witches enemies ignorant Christians Polluted Christians who have had themselves connected to these ministries. I'm gonna name some of them today Connected to these ministries and they come in as Christians who have good intentions and they're truly Christian But they're filled with these kind of leaning spirits these spirits of divination these familiar spirits and guess what? Supernatural stuff happens to them. They know stuff supernaturally. They prophesy they have tongues the counterfeit of the devil is so good that I have seen it deceive some of the Smartest some of the most sincere godly Christians that walk and to me it is absolutely The thing that I fight the most and that I have fought for the last 38 years as a minister is the counterfeit satanic demonic Infiltration into the church world and the all the various ways it comes in everybody loves in the Pentecost We love to talk about the Azusa Street revival, right? But we don't talk about what ended the Azusa Street revival Why did such a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit for three years almost four? Why did it end so abruptly abruptly and so terribly? If you read some of the other accounts what you find out is is that the people who had the spirits of divination the familiar spirits that could operate in the supernatural Came into the meetings now get this the leadership discerned That these people were operating in a wrong spirit But didn't do anything about it Allowed it. Well, we can't do that. We will cause division and strife or we will oh, this is the one that Bethel says I've heard Bill Johnson say this. Oh if we start dealing with the tears We're gonna pull up the roots and that's completely taken out of context Because that's about the angels dealing with the end-time people It has nothing to do with the church the fivefold ministry and Christians discerning What is truly the Holy Spirit and what is not and it's not popular I have shut people down in this church and had them walk out the door and not come back Because I am NOT gonna have The anointing of the Holy Spirit mimicked and this was even if I had one lady even in her prayer meeting I finally the spirit coming off of her was so demonic. I just stopped the prayer. I said stop
Some of you were here. Just stop and go Know what you do and know what you're saying. Just just leave Now some of you have had found my abruptness in dealing with this sometimes hard to stomach. I Have three words for you. I don't care It's not your job to deal with it's mine, right? So I have to deal with it, but this is what Paul said. Let's read this Second Corinthians 11. He said would the God that you could bear with me a Little in my folly and it you with a godly jealousy For I have espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ But I fear the man who feared nothing. He said this is my one fear He said less by any means as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety So your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ for if he that cometh preaches another Jesus Whom we have not preached or if you receive another spirit Which you have not received or another gospel which you have not accepted you might Well bear with him. So he's saying I fear that Satan Satan's Deception his ability to deceive the mind is so good. He said I fear that your minds are going Let's hear The simplicity that is in Christ. He's talking about simple devotion to Jesus And what that means and I'm gonna get into more that what that means in a second because we're gonna go to Ecclesiastes I've been Studying and meditating and reading through I can't seem to get out of Ecclesiastes Because there is so much vanity in the church world right now But he says here that also if you receive another spirit, do you see that if you receive another spirit? And he said, you know what? It's gonna be so subtle that you might well just do it He was telling now now think about this He was talking to the Corinthian church who was all about the gifts of the Holy Spirit talking in tongues in the supernatural they weren't so much on holiness though a lot of idolatry a lot of compromise with paganism and and witchcraft a lot of sexual immorality Office, I know Jesus said they came behind in no gift for it that had taken over The Church of Corinth and this is what I'm gonna talk to you about is that if we go
to the other extreme where gifts those visions supernatural manifestations or the goal You are going to be deceived by another spirit. I'm just gonna tell you that right now and These people let me tell you I know there's a problem when somebody comes up to me and they prophesy every other day Or every dream they have they think so a word from the Lord. I know better I'm gonna be walking this way too long right If God was doing stuff like that in your life every single day or every week or whatever you would not be walking By faith you would be walking by what you see and experience by the five senses This is why you know, the Lord sometimes with baby Christians Will give them a lot of the goosebumps of the Holy Spirit But when you get mature the more mature you get in the Lord actually the less he does in the sense of He don't have to hit me like a freight train anymore. You know I'm saying he don't have to knock me down on the ground I'm all for that if it's him But he pretty much can get my attention now By just his eye like he said I want to guide you with my eye I don't even have the Lord's like when you I want you to grow up to the point I don't even have to talk to you. You just we just know each other so well You just know what what I want you to do Right and also he wants us to stay grounded in the Word of God in reading it regularly and in just simple discipline of being in the Word Being in prayer being faithful to church and Bible studies fellowship and worship Because if you can't be faithful in those things again, you are setting yourself up to be deceived Okay, and the reason one of the reasons for the body of Christ in fact one of the most important reasons for the fivefold ministry and the local church the pastor is to protect you from being deceived and especially someone is an elder who's been in it a long time and Sometimes I can see y'all starting to drift off into with the some of these ministries and some of these people And I'm just like Lord do I have to tell them again? Because it's funny, you know, my wife just they had y'all had to what what was it a tea a lady's tea the other day and In the lady's tea. They had a great Bible study. My wife did in fact, I wanted to preach it here sometime about contentment You know Paul talked about contentment a lot of the times the reason that we end up seeking
Putting the seeking of supernatural manifestation so much That we get off base with it is because we're just simply can't be content in a season of being quiet and Just being before the Lord, you know my for back in 89 to about 91 I Was in Texas a lot. I was in Rockwell, Texas at Larry Lee's Church Church on the rock and that was a powerful church man. That was a church that prayed and I've shared some of that before but I'm gonna tell you right now that Even though they prayed and even though Actually, I had one of the most powerful prayer ministries I've ever seen they had a deliverance ministry they had Powerful like home groups because the church went from 70 people in the pastor's house to within Five years, it was like 6,000 people and then they had to build another church and it ended up being about 12,000 people were getting saved but the The desire for the supernatural The desire for the supernatural and what I see in a lot of these so-called prophetic Ministries that are out there now is this striving the next Thing and it actually is, you know hide down here Let me retire because I'm tired of it. I'm tired of watching it. I'm tired of seeing it Who's the flavor of the month this week? You got? Crick Catherine crick. I can't believe people are falling for that witch Rick Joyner Patricia King James gall All of them connected to that whole Kundalini thing And I see ministry still connected to them. I see people still go into them and I've watched the train wrecks The train wrecks that's what happened at Azusa Street. It's what happened at the Brownsville revival It's what happened at the Toronto revival. It's what happened with John Wimber and the whole Vineyard movement They let these counterfeit people and these people with the pollution of these evil spirits Come in to the ministry and destroy it and people died Wimber, I believe got cancer and died John where I believe John Wimber was an apostle But he got cancer and died because he opened the door
To occultism. He was the one that opened the door for Richard Foster in the whole visualization meditation stuff into his church, then he had Paul Kane and Mike Bickel and Bob Jones all those false prophets From Morningstar had all of them come to vineyard and then he gets cancer and dies in the vineyard churches Pretty much destroyed. And how do I know this because I've been this close talking to Bob Jones I've been this close talking to Rick Joyner. This is stuff. I just read in the book somewhere I made the mistake as it being in my 20s and letting that false prophet Bob Jones lay hands on me Let me tell you when that I let that guy lay hands on me the demons that came into me were unreal I had weeks of deliverance and the people in my church that I had to take to get clean from that and I'm gonna show you something the contamination Let's go to go to Jeremiah 23 This is why you have to be very careful Who you allow to pray for you who you allow to prophesy over you who you allow to speak in tongues over you? You know, I remember the Pentecostal churches you guys remember this You remember this back in the in the assemblies of God in the late 80s and 90s Somebody come up for prayer and they say everybody come up here and lay hands on them No No, no, no, no, no Witches and Satanists and infiltrators love that and we wonder why people don't get healed in those type of settings Or something doesn't happen that or if people get sicker and die. Oh Yeah Jeremiah 23, I just want to go to verse 9 I'm gonna read a few verses here because this is how I feel this morning After some of the I had just stumbled onto some research. I was just looking into some things and I stumbled on to Some of this stuff again, and I was like, oh boy, here's the new one But he says this the Apostle Jeremiah because he was having to deal with the false prophets telling people The good things they wanted to hear and the people were being swayed and it was causing Jeremiah Problems and he said my heart within me is broken Because of the prophets all my bones shake I am like a drunken man and like a man Whom wine hath overcome because of the Lord and because of the words of his holiness For the land is full of adulterers
For because of swearing the land mourned the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up And he says their course is evil and their force is not right For both prophet and priest are profane unclean polluted. Yeah in my house I have found their wickedness in my house in the the prophets and the priest are And he says here why they're full of adultery. I think about The verse the Lakeland Revive and I talked about this a few weeks back, but the Lakeland Revive I Nancy and I started dating around the time that was going on We got engaged But right about time it started I think or a little before 2008 and like I said, I know Roy fields Who led worship there? I didn't know him then but I know him now and The anointing of the Holy Spirit be so strong on Roy when he was leading worship and then this Tattooed goofball would get up and I and the Holy Spirit even go Now something's wrong with this dude. Now we come to find out that while all the prophetic movement from from Bill Johnson at Bethel to Rick Joyner. I mean some of you are gonna know these names But this is the big charismatic Prophetic movement in America throughout the world all these guys Jim Gall Paul Kane Bob Jones all these people Patricia King. Who's the pink haired lady? That's so goofy Cat cur all these all of them show up at the revival at the Lakeland revival Laying hands on Bentley. He's the next apostle of revival bleh bleh bleh bleh. He's laying on the floor shaking in there Doing all their stuff and I'm sitting there going. Oh now I know See I didn't it was me No, no No Now that tent they had held 10,000 people and it was filled every night People went there from all over the world all over the United States to get hands laid on them Christians my own brother went and Little did we know at the time? That while the whole revival was going on for about I don't know it was two or three months. I can't remember how long Todd Bentley is cheating on his wife
having an affair with his assistant and Not one of those so-called prophets Discerned a thing that was going on and they tell you why they didn't discern a thing that was going on because they're not operating in the Holy Spirit they're operating in the counterfeit Look, I'm gonna tell you how I know Rick Joyner is operating and is operating the counterfeit for years because that man puts himself out there to be Right and just an expert in church history, right? Yet I have his articles and stuff from the early 2000s Talking about when I think was 2005 when Pope Pope John Paul the second died and he how he praised the Pope how Pope John Paul He was the greatest one of the greatest Christian leaders of all time and I was I thought to myself Nothing about Pope John Paul the second was Christian He was a universalist He was in with the Illuminati. Is there a problem? Oh, I'm sure it is Don't worry. We're as long as we record everything we could upload it again. I don't care Okay It never fails. Oh, he's the devil. He doesn't like this because Because the church has been deceived by these people. Let me show you let me show you this Let's just and and see this is another thing when he says here Let me just read this again verse 9 my heart within me is broken because of the prophets all my bones shake I am like a drunken man. I am like a man who wine hath overcome because of the Lord and the words of his holiness See, I want to tell you something anybody that has a right attitude about the gifts of the Holy Spirit tongues Interpretation of tongues prophecy word of knowledge word of wisdom anybody that has a right attitude Should be terrified To do it. I mean one of the most terrifying things to me is when I feel like the Lord is speaking to me or showing me something because I don't want to be deceived by a Counterfeit and I don't want to lead people to stray and so it should cause But I see these people that are just they got you know They got a word every day 9 o'clock on Tuesday, and they do a Facebook live to share it with you run Run away. That's not of God. That's marketing. You hear me
Oh, I've had these marketing companies if you do this just like this Follow this little pattern. You'll be you'll have a million subscribers and we guarantee it if you do did and that's exactly what they're doing And then they walk around I got two million subscribers. Well, who cares? What are you leading them to? That's the question. See I've seen this stuff destroy people, you know, and I'm just gonna be honest Everybody asked you know, I love Steve Hill Steve Hill The evangelist that God used at the Brownsville revival. I knew about Steve In the late 80s probably, you know, I think I probably heard him maybe 89 in Montgomery came to evangel temple and he had his little book stone cold heart and man, what a testimony he had he's Alabama boy from Huntsville and was a drug dealer and all that stuff and was dying of an overdose and His mom's Lutheran minister came in and I guess this guy actually knew Jesus and led him to Jesus and he said he was having full, you know withdrawals so severe to the point he was about to die and He calls on Jesus and it all stops and I know the judge that he had to stand before Judge Randy Thomas that decided to not send him to prison because he needed he I think he was gonna get 25 to life Something like that because it wasn't his first rodeo But judge Randy Thomas was a born-again Christian. He got saved around that time I know him because I used to have lunch with him weekly and Judge Thomas said we're gonna send you to the David Wilkerson team challenge up in Huntsville and he went through that gave his life to the Lord fully And he's at Brownsville and I went we I went weekly there for the first couple of Years, I think I drove from Montgomery to Pensacola all the time one of my friends was the children's pastor there And I just went all the time and I at times I got to meet and talk with Steve Hill John Kilpatrick Dr. Michael Brown during that time Lindell we had conversations. I was on the front row Usually is one of the pastors that would counsel with people that came to the altar for salvation So I saw it all up and close and personal and I can tell you Steve Hill was the real deal He was a man of God. He was legit. He loved the Lord He preached the gospel He was open to the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit and he was a hard worker
What the grueling schedule he went through for five years. I don't know it had to be God sustain him but when They started letting those people come in. I remember when the Morning Star people started coming in I Thought oh crap. Here we go. Here we go again, and then The people that were connected to them and the people that were connected to them. It was at that time that the skin cancer started on Steve Hill's neck and Then he makes the horrible mistake of Endorsing the Lakeland revival and Todd Bentley before he even knew who the guy was Both him and John Kilpatrick endorse that revival which made a lot of people go to it said it's it's the real deal It wasn't Todd Bentley was into all kind of sexual sin He was into the visualization and astral projection and all that stuff. He learned from Bob Jones he's doing all this stuff and Pastor John Kilpatrick repented over endorsing it after Steve Hill never did Then Steve Hill's church in Texas had some of these prophets in there. What's her name? Jacob's Cindy Jacobs. I'm just gonna name them. I don't care I wouldn't let any of that Motley crew lay hands on me All right But he had that woman in his church part of that again connected that are all connected and I was even my wife will testify to This and I was talking back and forth with Steve Hill's wife as he is in as he is in the last stages of death We're praying for him to be healed. I Tell his wife the doors are open because of this person this person this person Bob Jones Paul came I Go down the list Rick Joyner Cindy Jacobs, I said his whole counterfeit Prophetic movement that's polluted and tainted. I said you need to lay hands on your husband bind all the demons that came into him from these people and cast them out that is your only hope your only shot and She would not receive that and he died the great evangelist who was a real Christian Allowed the pollution of the counterfeit into his life and it destroyed him it killed him. He died before his time
I'm gonna tell you that right now and that ought to make us all Wake up and realize this is not a game wherein this is a life and death battle and struggle Christians just run along like Go ahead go ahead on with your bad self, right? Let's go to you. Let me show you. Let's go to this Please he asked these chapter 5. I think about some of these ministries. They got a word every day or a dream or a vision every day And he says here in the context of not being rash with your mouth well, let's just read it from verse 1 it says keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God and Be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools For they consider not that they do evil See they don't some of them don't even realize that they're operating in a Counterfeit he says be not rash with thy mouth and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God For God is in heaven and thou upon the earth therefore let thy words be few for a dream cometh through the multitude of busyness and A fool's voice is known by a multitude of words This is how I know sometimes just like they talk too much They got a prophecy every day. They got a dream a vision a word and let me tell you what it is It is a push to appear super spiritual so people will lift you up and I get sick and tired of this this is a problem that sincere Christians, but particularly younger Christians fall into When God does start giving them the gifts of the Holy Spirit all of a sudden what? They're super Christian now, right and Everything starts becoming spiritualized. I'm gonna eat meatloaf today because I had a dream about meatloaf You get what I'm saying? I'm telling you. I have seen it for years and years and years and years Going down in this chapter. We're gonna go Well, this is keep reading is fun. Why not? Verse four when thou vow is to vow unto God defer not to pay it for he hath no pleasure in fools
Pay that which thou has vowed Better is it that thou should is not vow And that thou should is vow and not pay suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin Well, we could park right here for a while Your mouth can cause your flesh to sin Neither say thou before the angel that it was an error I mean is the oldest oops that just made a mistake. No, not if you're dealing in false prophecies regularly It's not a little error mistake. You're something is wrong He says wherefore should God be angry at thy voice and destroy the work of thy hands for in the multitude of dreams in Many words, there are also divers vanities But fear thou God and when I think about fearing God again, I mentioned it a minute ago I See in these a lot of these people that they they give prophecy or a dream a vision a word or something They thanks from the Lord every other day. And what it tells me though is not just that They're probably operating. They're probably being deceived by a counterfeit seducing spirit But it also shows me That the fear of God is lacking Because if you really have the fear of God and you don't want to make mistakes and errors with this stuff you will shut your mouth and pray more and Study more and learn how to discern between what is real and what is not. I Remember I had a good friend years ago. I've shared this good friend He grew up in a Holy Spirit field charismatic family and they were legit I love this family and me and him were like best friends for many years and one day we were in a prayer meeting and He just up and prophesied and I mean he he God used him in the gifts. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit. He had the gift of tongues He had the gift of interpretation tongues He had to give the prophecy and sometimes God used him to prophesy in the church and that's that's all great But he gave this word of prophecy and I knew in my spirit. It wasn't God. It was from his own head Now he wasn't trying to do anything evil and he hadn't been to any of these ministries to get contaminated It just came from a flippant attitude. Just oh, well, we can prophesy, you know, and I said I won't say his name But I said hey man, you know, that wasn't the Lord. That was you His little head went down. I said look man. I'm all for you prophesied But let it be from the Lord and not you and nothing he said was was wrong biblically or
Doctrinally It was a good word But it wasn't the Lord speaking. It wasn't the Holy Spirit and I told him I said do not play around with this and He humbled himself and he received what I said. He said I won't do it. He said I hear you I know what he received it. And so then on what did he do? He prayed more and got in the word more and Made sure that it wasn't just his own thoughts But it was the Lord when he he got more serious about it. So he got more of the fear of God about it To make sure if you're gonna say thus saith the Lord and it's not you are lying Do you hear me and you can be leading others astray? Because if they think it's the Lord and it's not But they take it as some kind of confirmation to something that they think they've heard then they can be completely misled And this is why this is so dangerous. We have to be super careful That we're not allowing this to be contaminated because these spirits are slick Let's go to first Timothy 4 verse 1 everybody ought to know this verse by heart because I I probably Have preached on this verse over the years more than any other I could quote it. What this means is like they were in the he was in the normal flow of writing Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and then the Holy Spirit said hey Hey, hey Let me emphasize this to you. It's why he said the Holy now the spirit speaketh Expressly like I want you to really really really get this and make sure everybody knows that this is important especially for the church of the last days He said they're gonna be some that depart from the faith. Because they listen to Seducing spirits first, it's two things here seducing spirits that lead you to doctrines of devils See, this is how a lot of people ends up end up in the whole Torah movement, right? Oh, we should keep all of the Bible. God hasn't changed all these things the devil comes in and tells them well, you're not doing enough, you know, you got to keep the commandments and They somehow lose their ability to understand There's a difference between the old covenant and the new covenant. This was about 97 I think somewhere in that range time period 96 97 so just about a year after I planted this church in Montgomery

I mean we started out first service 60 people then it went to a hundred people and then they had We had to get a building in downtown So one time I'm going over there and this is about I don't know several months into it The Lord speaks to me and he says I've given you apostolic authority over that church and I thought well, that's weird He would say that because I kind of already know that but why is the Lord telling me this as I'm because I'm driving four hours speaking in tongues and praying and in the spirit and the Holy Spirit says I've given you apostolic authority over this church So I get to the church and I sit down with the pastor and some of the staff there We have a little meeting and the first thing they tell me is We're going to go under Morningstar ministries Rick Joyner and Bob Jones mister now you have to understand I did not know anything about them at this time. I did not follow Rick Joyner I did not follow Bob Jones. I didn't I I knew nothing about them. All right This was just the beginning of me finding out. Okay, and when they told me this I said well, I said that's interesting I said because on the way here the Lord told me That he'd given me apostolic authority over this church And I said, I don't know and what was good was I could say I don't know anything about them I just know that that's not God's will But the reason they wanted to go up under that because they had a big name And this is another thing in the church. Well, we got to have big name We we we have an idol of celebrity worship in the church. I've seen it No, no, no, no, no Don't ever do that But I just told them so guess what so they and you know, I just kind of you know I'm not gonna force anything. I decide I just backed away Because you know when you decide to get on the train wreck. I'm gonna back away from the train All right, it's your it's your choice. I'm not gonna force anything on you So I just go back to Montgomery and let them do their thing. Well, guess what? They start regularly going down two Morningstar ministries over there and Fort Mills And they start hanging out with Bob Jones and getting hands laid on them. And and what was so sad is is that? Church had a group of young people that were you know 18 19 20 21 years old that were getting on fire for Jesus and they started going getting hands laid on them by these Kundalini prophets and they all start going goofy. They all start getting weird
They just basically walked around some of them like they were in a trance It was so demonic it destroyed that church and the pastor my friend the pastor that I put in charge of that church Ended up having an affair with his assistant and that further destroyed it the church and a church That was birthed in the fire of a Holy Spirit revival was destroyed Because of who they decided to associate with who they let lay hands on them who they let prophesy over them And it was destroyed. So this is not a game and some of those people Some of those people got cancer and died Remember, what did he say if you don't get rid of this deal with this? I mean Bleeding the whole nine yards like oh crap. Here we go and I'm sitting there going what is going on Lord? And I really I said to the Lord I said, okay the curse without a cause doesn't come what's the cause Lord? And about the time I said that prayed that the phone ring and the person who was sitting in the back row that saw it Said hey, I saw this person that I knew was a witch That was coming to my church at the time lay hands on her. Oh really? So I go To my ex-wife. I lay hands on her and I say in the name of Jesus I bind the demons that came in to her through the laying on the hands of this person

There'd be great signs and wonders that were demonic and satanic miracles and signs and things in even in the heavens that would deceive the world And so lord, we want the real thing from you And we want to know when it's a counterfeit miracle or someone operating in a familiar spirit or spirit of divination and Claiming to be the holy spirit. We want to know and lord we have to know that from you Your holy spirit lord. Jesus has to show us and we ask you for the discernment and the discerning of spirits gift and Lord to pick up on these things and discern them and not to ignore your warnings that you give us because lord is Me, I pray lord help me help my wife help pastor troy and pastor d help
