  1. foreign [Music] good morning everybody I've entitled this Redemption of the body because of course this class is talking about Redemption meaning what Jesus bought and paid for right what he purchased and redeemed and first and foremost is our spirit and then he's in the process of redeeming our soul and eventually he will redeem the body so we're going to talk a little bit about that this morning in fact before we get into this in great depth about the Redemption of the resurrection of the body the Mortal putting on immortality corruption putting on incorruption we do need to look at the Spirit soul and body again because this is one of the most important things to think for a believer in Jesus Christ to understand is the differences between Spirit soul and body and that process in um salvation and Redemption so first I guess first let's do this let's go to first Thessalonians chapter 5. he says this and the Very God of Peace sanctify you holy and I pray God that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ now I've taught on this and preached this many many times on this verse let's read it again one more time so we understand we get it down in US Paul said and the Very God of Peace sanctify that means to cleanse to make holy you holy that word just means is completely and I pray you're whole or your entire your complete spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ so if we see here he connects this Spirit soul and body thing also to the second coming of Jesus right because at the second coming is going to be the ultimate day of redemption that's the day that uh everything is changed everything that was bought and paid for by Jesus will be done in Believers okay but he says here we have a spirit we have a soul we have a body so let's we can put up that first graphic just to show you this right here this is first Thessalonians 5 23 and a little graphic picture here of our three distinct parts that we have that make us one person your spirit right here and I've said this before but your spirit contains your conscience which is your ability to discern right and wrong it also has to do with your intuition

  2. your ability to perceive things in the spirit Realm and then it also has to do in the area where you worship God in spirit and in truth you also have a spirit body that has the shape of a body but it's spirit and the spirit body can speak it can hear it can see as God Wills but your spirit man is part now and then you have a soul which is your mind will and emotions your Consciousness makes you a sentient being as they say but your soul these are but these are two different things a lot of people think the spirit and the soul the same thing that's probably one of the biggest misunderstandings when you talk about Spirit soul and body people will use them interchangeably but they're really not but then of course then we have the body so I think some of the old uh the old timers used to say you know you're not just a physical person you really are a spirit who has a soul and lives in a body okay but this is very important to understand because I want to talk a little bit about the the progression of redemption of regeneration of Salvation because it really starts in this direction it starts in your spirit goes to your soul and will eventually culminate in the body that's why here toward the end of this class we're talking now about the Redemption of the body this morning but let's look at the definition just so you see these words here there are three different words for Spirit soul and body so they're not the same thing all right so here's the word for Spirit it is pneuma okay very important this is something you ought to learn here pneuma of course this shows you how many times it's used in the King James version 385 times so it's a lot Spirit just Spirit by itself is 111 Times Holy Ghost 89 times spirit of God 13 times Jesus own Spirit six times small s spirit 47 times so you see it's used a lot it means current of air breath Breeze by analogy a spirit human uh the rational Soul by implication the vital principle so on and so forth It's really the life force that God breathed into us I believe in our mother's womb so pneuma is the word for spirit and again it all depends on the context because it can mean the Holy Spirit if holy is before it in the context of the verse it can mean human the human Spirit it can mean an evil spirit just depends on the context it's just the word for Spirit okay so yes pneuma for spirit and then we have

  3. suke but if you notice how it's spelled for soul isn't it that's that that's an English word in it psyche all right that's how we say it in English but it's okay in Greek but spelled pretty much the same way there right so we have psyche or suke and this is again it says breath but it says it's it's distinct or different because it's the sentient principle the rational or Immortal Soul the mind so this has to do with the realm of the mind and the emotions all right and then of course we have the word for body here is soma Soma and of course that's self-explanatory the physical body it says down here the body of both men and animals the physical aspect of us so is it interesting I want to say this this morning I see the trinity of God in this way and I think this is the biblical way not man's way is that let's let's go back to our graphic that if you can the uh that's first Thessalonians 5 23 just to use this for a second I see that we are created in God's image and that again like I've said many times before there are not three Deans right there's not three josiahs there's not three daniellas there's not three Kevin's there's not three but yet we have three very distinct parts now the Bible says in in Colossians 2 8 9 that Jesus is the fullness of the godhead bodily the scriptures also told us that he had the holy spirit in him without measure meaning there was no part held back so he had fully the Holy Spirit and the Soul now now the way I see the Trinity is just like this right here I see the spirit as the holy spirit of God I see the soul the mind the will the emotions as the father and I see the body with both of these in the body is Jesus okay and this is not hard to understand if you understand that even the human being when we die and we're talking about we're going to be talking about the Redemption of the body today so we're talking about if we die before Jesus comes as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ there's going to be a separation this our spirit in Soul will separate from our body and be present with the Lord our body will go into the grave so even though these three parts are one sound familiar they can separate out from one another okay

  4. and we see this also with like the Apostle Paul in First Corinthians 5 we see it with the prophet Ezekiel how God would take their Spirit out of their body take them somewhere else and show them something now the witches and the satanists they do that with demonic power it's called astral projection or astral travel but God can do it in any believer anytime he so chooses if he wants to take us somewhere and show us something or take us into the spirit realm and show us something he can take our spirit out of our body all right he can separate that so these three parts are three very distinct very different parts but they make up the one person that we are everybody has a spirit a soul and a body okay and today what we're we're going to get to in a minute is we're talking about people who die before Jesus comes at the end at the second coming of Christ there's going to be the dead in Christ will rise first well what's he talking about he's talking about the body we're going to see the full Redemption of the body um but that's just very important for you to get a hold of because what see what did Jesus say Jesus in the body would always say I do the will of my father see that's why I say I believe the father rep is in in the creation of who we are in His image I see the father as the will the mind the will the emotions he said that's why Jesus can say I always do the will of my father I do what he leads me to do and that's really true about us too guess what you will always do in the body what you meditate on in the mind what you choose to believe and what you choose to meditate on you will act upon all right so that's what Jesus was talking about of course this thing of the Trinity the Triune nature of God it is a great mystery it is it is hard for us human beings to fully grab a hold of but I think we've got to be biblical about it now whether God is manifesting himself like he did on the day of Pentecost primarily by his holy spirit the holy spirit of God is fully God fully him manifesting his spirit is there okay um same with the father and the son they can be manifest they can manifest themselves distinct separate from the other but they are one so God is Triune but one okay he has three parts but he is one God We Are Made In His Image so moving on from that let's go now and look at some scriptures where it talks about um what I'm going to show you is the

  5. progression of redemption and salvation that I just told you about from Spirit to Soul to body so let's go to let's go to Titus chapter 3 first here's what he says he says his instruction this is Paul under inspiration the Holy Spirit telling the pastor young Pastor Titus put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers to obey magistrates to be ready to every good work to speak evil of no man to be no Brawlers but gentle showing all meekness unto all men but we ourselves also we're sometimes foolish disobedient deceived serving divers lust and Pleasures living in Malice and envy hateful and hating one another but after that the kindness and love of God our savior toward men appeared look what he says here not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his Mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ Our Savior that being justified by his grace that we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life so here he says that we were not saved by works of righteousness which we have done but by his Mercy he saved us how by the washing and regeneration regeneration of the Holy Ghost now the word regeneration you can look it up for yourself the word regeneration is simply this it means to renovate to make new like you would completely remodel something okay so what that's saying is is remodeling or renewing or renovating a house building a house from scratch okay no no no that means the house is already there but you come in and you renew it you renovate it you remodel it you change it you make it better you're making you update it you make it new see that what he's saying here is the human spirit um once Adam and Eve sin the human Spirit was separated from God and died the the death remember when God told them in the Garden of Eden he said the day you eat of this tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil the day you eat of this tree you die okay death starts in the spirit death is spiritual before it is physical did Adam and Eve die physically when they ate the tree some people some people would go that you know some of the crazies out there would say that's a contradiction see God said they would die if they ate the tree but they didn't die oh yes they did die they did die spiritually why because their Spirit their their human spirit

  6. that was alive to God in communication with God saw God every day talk to God every day heard God's voice in the garden every day that was severed that aspect of them died because their Spirit died in a sense because it was separated from that wonderful blessed perfect connection right with God that they had spiritually every day all right so when remembering and what I've said before is death ceasing to exist no what does death mean death means separation from God our creator who is life so the moment Adam and Eve sinned they ate the tree of the nons of Good and Evil there was a severing of a connection between their human spirit and God's spirit and so there was spiritual death somebody say spiritual death all right spiritual death separation so what happens is it doesn't mean that it doesn't mean that the human spirit is not operational or ceases to exist it's just disconnected from God it's spiritually um separated so it's it's it's not truly living though it's still it's still there so that's why he talks about when salvation begins when we accept the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus in his blood and his death and his resurrection when we accept that and we are born again there is something that happens the washing and regeneration of the Holy Spirit meaning the Holy Spirit washes us first of all he comes in and he and he cleans the house right Spirit soul and body there's a cleansing how does he do that he applies the blood of Jesus right and he washes us and then he renews renovates remodels makes new our human spirit all right now that's why when you first get saved when you're first born again it is one of the most glorious days of your life you feel it you know it this is why Romans 8 says that the holy spirit will bear witness with our spirit that we're a child of God tell people all the time if you can be saved and not know it you could lose it and not miss it right so if you could be saved without knowing it it doesn't make any sense but God never does that when you are truly born again through faith in Jesus Christ you you've been convicted of your sins you've been awakened to that and you understand that you have need of the Savior and you call upon the name of Jesus and you ask for forgiveness and you say be my Lord and Savior I'm turning from my sins I'm going to give you my life and it's real and you're born again by faith immediately there is a instantaneous remodeling renewing renovation of your

  7. human spirit and it is reconnected to God to the Creator now that's that's why you feel such peace and love and joy and the and the presence of God on that day and you say well why don't God let us have that every day I wish he did let us have that every day but he wants us to walk by faith and not by feelings not by sight not by the five senses but I'm going to tell you on this day when you're washed and regenerated by the Holy Spirit you know your spirit's been made alive now your spirit's been made alive your spirit's been is receiving the fullness of the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus but is your soul redeemed yet no what is your soul your mind will and emotions meaning the way you think there's got to be a lot of changing in the way you think and how you either yield to or resist or whatever your emotions remember I did a sermon you weren't here then but it's probably a good sermon for you guys to go back and listen to called the soulish Christian very important the difference between being led by your spirit listening to the Holy Spirit versus you listening to your still not perfected mind will and emotions your own mind okay but let's go to a verse let's go to a passage to show that we're showing that the spirit has been redeemed renewed renovated um now let's go to Romans 12 start in verse 1. the soul has to be in a process Romans 12 1-2 this ought to be familiar to a lot of people the Apostle Paul writes by the Holy Spirit here I beseech you Brethren beseech you therefore Brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a Living Sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service and be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God so he says here that you must be what renewed you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind remember this what is the soul the soul is the mind will and the motion so he's saying what do you have to do to get your mind your soul renewed well guess what you got to present your bodies a Living Sacrifice to the Lord saying I'm not going to let my body my fleshly desires rule me my body's now Saint gonna be uh dedicated to the Lord I'm not going to let my body just run wild after the sins of the flesh like it used to and I'm going to let my mind

  8. be renewed by what by the word of God right by reading studying proving what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God well how do we prove what is the good acceptable and perfect will of God we've got to know the scriptures right we got to know the Bible we got to study the Bible we got to meditate on the Bible we got to memorize the Bible and of course what does it say Hebrews 4 12. it says the word of God is well let's put that up Hebrews 4 12. what does it say about the word of God the word of God's Not Just ink on paper the word of God it says is alive and Powerful the King James uses the word quick it says for the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the dividing asunder of Soul and Spirit meaning is the word of God is what helps you determine what is of the soul the your own mind willing emotions and what is of the spirit what is of God but the word of God also it says here the word of God is quick it is alive and Powerful so when you read the word when you meditate upon the word when you study the word when you memorize the word of God when you learn sound Doctrine you are in the process and you spend time in prayer and fasting and worship and and loving the Lord with all your heart soul mind and strength and be you know when you do that your mind your soul your mind willing emotions is in the process of being redeemed being renewed being renovated all right so does everybody see that right the spirit gets that almost immediately but the soul is the process that's what you're doing that's why you're in Bible School you're Renewing Your Mind you're you're proving what is God's will what is God's word say the will of God is in the word of God right now yes the holy spirit will speak to you and reveal things that you specifically are supposed to do but they will not ever contradict anything in the written word of God so that's very important now let's go and talk about the Redemption of the body because eventually that's going to happen so let's go to Romans the verse I quoted a minute ago was 16 the spirit itself or himself beareth witness with our spirit that we are children of God we're going to jump down to verse 18 here and here's what it says for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in US for the earnest expectation of the creature wadeth for the manifestation of the sons of God for the creature was made subject to

  9. vanity not willingly but by reason of him who have subjected the same hope because the creature itself also shall be delivered from bondage of corruption into the Glorious Liberty of the children of God now this is where today we're talking about the Redemption of the body this is an important verse verse 21. let me read it again because the creature itself the body he's talking about the physical body of of men and women he says because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption meaning the process of death the process of it growing old weakening eventually dying or for some actually being dead and the body rotting away but he says because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the Glorious Liberty of the children of God for we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now and not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit now this is really good he's saying look the creation itself is groaning longing for the day that Jesus will return and begin the process of renewing and renovating and healing the Earth so creation is groaning for this but he says but we also which have the first fruits of the spirit so what's he talking about we have the first fruits of the spirit that's what I was talking about a minute ago when we were born again by faith the Holy Spirit came into us and made our Spirit Alive renovated renewed us that's regeneration being born again and that's the first fruits of our eventual full Redemption somebody say first fruits of the spirit it's a good thing right first fruits of the spirit is being saved being born again and the Holy Spirit coming in and renewing regenerating your spirit that's what he's talking about right here he says verse 23 and not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit even we ourselves grown within ourselves waiting for the adoption to wit look at there the Redemption of our body I mean the true born-again Christian deep down within and this ought to be a sign whether you're truly saved or not but deep down within there's a groaning there's a yearning for the day that your body will be changed you want to be free from this corrupt vile flesh that's been corrupted

  10. by that by sin by the fruit of the knowledge of the tree and evil what we receive from Adam and Eve that's been passed to us the days coming we will be free from that I can tell you right now that I can't wait for that day especially the older I get you know the older I get you young folks you don't know this yet but you will when you start getting you reach a certain point listen you reach a certain point where finally you know your youth stops and your body you kind of reaches you know you're from a baby you're growing getting stronger you're maturing you're getting taller all this stuff's happening and then also you reach a point where that stops and it starts down this side and you sense huh I'm not as strong and I'm not as fat and I'm you know you can tell that the body is beginning to its long process if we you know anyone's blessed to live a long life you begin to realize that the body is not going to be the same right it's it's in that process of what we inherited from Adam and Eve it's the result of sin it's the fruit of sin and Adam and Eve sin and that's in us so he says here let's read that again verse 23. he says and not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit even we ourselves grown within ourselves waiting for the adoption to it the Redemption of our body and then he goes on and we'll just keep reading he says for we are saved by hope but hope that is seen is not hope for what a man seeth why does he get hope for but if we hope for that which we see not then we do with patience wait for it then he says this likewise the spirits begin the Holy Spirit also helpeth our infirmities our weaknesses the holy spirit's our help for we know not how we should pray as we all but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered so the Point here is is that we have the first fruits of the spirit we've been born again our spirit's been renewed we're in the process of our mind being renewed as we stay faithful to the Lord but deep down within us there's this groaning because the body is always the flesh as Paul said in Romans 7 they're in the flesh dwells no good thing the flesh always wants to do evil just know that the flesh always wants to do evil that's why Paul said in Romans 8 you know end of Romans 7 . let's go back to Romans 7 because he said this he said in verse 22 we'll read from therefore I Delight in the law of God after the inward men but I see another law in my members worrying against the law of my mind and

  11. bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members o Wretched Man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death I thank God through Jesus Christ Our Lord so you see what he's talking about here he's talking about man I love the things of God but my flesh does not and there's a war in me there's always going to be listen students and tell you I don't care there's always going to be that War I don't care how strong you get I don't care how much knowledge you get I don't care how much you pray I Don't Care much you fast I don't care how much the Bible you've memorized you're always going to have that war as long as you live in this body and that's even the Apostle Paul crying out who a Wretched Man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death I mean even in Romans 7 you know let's back up in Romans 7. he says verse 15 he admits even the Apostle Paul the great Apostle Paul admits for that which I do I allow not meaning he says I do things I tell other people not to do he said for what I would that do I not meaning the things I wish I would do I don't do then he says but what I hate that I do meaning Paul still is admitting here that he sins sometimes the thing I hate but I hate it I hate this but I still do it sometimes and then he says if then I do that which I would not I can send unto the law that is good now then it is no more I that do it but sin that dwelleth in me and of course when he's talking about the law here he's already he makes it plain in Romans 8 he's talking about the law of Christ not the not the old Covenant law so he's saying it real plainly here that hey I still struggle why because I'm still living in the flesh so this verse will make more sense to you so let's go to Philippians chapter 3 now this is what's beautiful and let's keep this in context before we before we get into all this let's just read from verse one before I get to the main verse I want to talk about because it's really good to always keep in context because so here again Paul begins to he talks about how he's pressing toward the mark that he would know Jesus in a more intimate and Powerful way and the power of his resurrection that he would not be trusting in the righteousness that by the law and then he goes on to say something about the body about the Redemption of the body so let's read this from verse one finally my brethren rejoice in the Lord to write the same things to you to me indeed is not Grievous but for you it

  12. is safe beware of dogs beware of evil workers Beware of the concision for we are the circumcision which worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh so notice he's putting the difference between we worship God in the spirit we have no confidence in the flesh why our spirit man's been renewed regenerated renovated alive to God he wants to do the will of God the flesh doesn't can't be trusted whatsoever if you trust in the flesh you're in trouble so he goes on verse 4 though I might also have confidence in the flesh if any other man thinketh that he have where he might Trust In the Flesh I more so Paul's saying if you think you got your good flesh I got better flesh let me tell you why he said right here circumcise The Eighth Day of the stock of Israel see I'm of the stock of Israel the chosen people circumcised on the Eighth Day according to the law he says of The Tribe of Benjamin which the first king of Israel came a Hebrew of Hebrews not just a Hebrew but a Hebrew of Hebrew the elite Paul was one of the most educated Hebrews of his time he said as touching the law of Pharisee meaning zealous for the law of Moses the Torah right and then he says concerning zeal persecuting the church meaning he was so zealous for the law he hated the church sounds like these Torah people and then it says touching the righteousness which is in the law blameless meaning Paul was saying there wasn't anything that you could condemn me for outwardly openly I wasn't an adulterer I wasn't an idolter I wasn't a murderer in his eyes as a Pharisee but listen to this so all those things Paul was you know that was that was his life and he said that having confidence in those things being in Israelite being a Hebrew of Hebrews being a Pharisee being zealous for the law he said all of that every bit of that he said was having confidence in the flesh oh that just hurt somebody's feelings if a Torah person hears that it's gonna hurt the feeling right but this is the context of this and he goes on to say but what things were gained to me what things were gained to Paul being an Israelite tribal Benjamin a Hebrew of Hebrews

  13. blameless in the law zealous so zealous for the law he persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ those things were gained to him so he says with the things that were gained to me those I counted loss for Christ ye doubtless I count all things but laws for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but don't that I may win Christ you know we read through this stuff sometimes way too fast but what he's saying was you know it doesn't matter if I'm an Israelite of The Tribe of Benjamin a Hebrew of Hebrews a Pharisee a doctor of the law and some folks have said that that Paul's education at the time was equivalent to two or three phds he was brilliant he was an expert at the law because all this is I count down now I have only one goal and he says I counted all laws for Christ ye doubtless I count all things verse 8 I count all things all things but loss for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord whom I have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but done that I may win Christ he said all that is dumb that I may win Christ that I may know him that I may be close to him that I may understand him that I may have the full experience with him and he says in verse 9 and be found in him that is in Jesus not having my own righteousness which is of the law but that which is through faith of Jesus Christ the righteousness which is of god by faith not the righteousness of trying to keep the law the righteous is by a faith relationship with Jesus Christ according to the New Covenant verse 10 that I may know him the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings being made conformable unto his death if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead so here notice again this is connected to what he's saying listen to me what Paul is saying that I might attain to the resurrection of the Dead what's he saying he said I want to get to the point I'm not there yet I want to get to the point where full Redemption I get to the place of full Redemption where my body is resurrected with the righteous I am given the immortal body The Incorruptible body the body is that is like the body of Jesus he said I'm not there yet but I want to get there all right somebody say it's good stuff see I'm not there yet you're not there yet but I want do you want to get there right so we well how do we do that he says if by any means he said that I

  14. might attain into the resurrection of the Dead look at verse 12. not as though I had already attained either were already perfect but I follow after if that I may apprehend that which I am also apprehended of Christ Brethren I count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing I do forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth into those things which are before I press toward the mark for the prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus let us therefore as many as be perfect be thus minded this is amazing the word perfect here means to be mature in Jesus Christ so he's saying if any of us are going to be mature let us have the same mind what I'm not trying to be an Israelite I ain't worried about that I'm not trying to be a Hebrew of Hebrews I'm not trying to be a Pharisee I'm not trying to keep the law I'm not trying to find my righteousness in the law none of that I'm not trying any of that I'm trying to develop and grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ and the power of his resurrection all that stuff I put behind me and pressed toward him toward Jesus that I might Attain the resurrection of the Dead the Redemption of the body he says if you're going to be perfect you better be thus minded oh somebody say Amen right there if I'm going to be perfect let's keep reading he says there let us therefore if any as many as be perfect be thus minded and if in anything you be otherwise minded God shall reveal even this unto you nevertheless where to we have already attained let us walk by the same rule let us mind the same thing he said so I love verse 16. again let's not over let's not just fly by he says nevertheless where to we have already taken meaning what we've already retained attained what is that we've retained the Regeneration the Redemption of the spirit we've been born again so we've attained that he says let us walk by the same rule meaning the same way you attained salvation being born again faith a calling on his name a seeking of Jesus Christ so the same way you attained being born again walk according to the same rule there's a there's uh in fact hold your place there hold your place because we're coming right back to this we'll go to Colossians real quick Colossians chapter 2 I love this because this is what he's talking about here in fact he's even talking about his Spirit they'll just read verse 5 here five and six seven and eight and nine ten here's what he says verse 5. though I be absent in the flesh yet I am with you in the spirit joying

  15. and beholding your order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ now look what he says in verse six as ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk in him rooted and built up in him and established in the faith as you have been taught abounding therein with Thanksgiving bewareless any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the godhead bodily but back up again he says verse 6 as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him how did you receive Jesus you believed in your heart and he died for you on the cross and he rose from the dead that he was the sacrifice for your sins that he was the only way your sins could be forgiven that he was the way to heaven to eternal life you believe that and then you confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus you called upon his name you gave your life to him you surrendered to his lordship and it says that's when you were born again that's when your spirit was regenerated he said the same way you received him is the same way you walk in him so that you may make it to the end and receive the final part of the Redemption of what's been bought and paid for let's keep going let's go back to Philippians chapter 3. that's why now verse verse 16 nevertheless we're in two we have already attained let us walk by the same rule let us mind the same thing Brethren be followers together of me and mark them which walks so as you have us for an example for many walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are enemies of the Cross of Christ whose end is destruction whose God is their belly who glory in their shame who mind Earthly things now look at verse 20 and 21 these are the verses we wanted to get to for our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself so he's talking about Jesus coming remember we just read in Romans 8 23 the day there's going to be the Redemption of our body and then he says here he's looking for the day when Jesus comes we will look for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body here's what's awesome here's what's beautiful

  16. when we get to the second coming of Jesus Christ whether we are the dead in Christ or we're still alive we're going to read that in just a second we are going to be changed our vile sin ridden sin loving physical fleshly body the Soma is going to be changed from a vile body that wants to do evil to a body that is like Jesus his resurrected glorified body this ought to be mind-blowing to us that we're going to have bodies physical bodies just like his see that's to me that's that's hope especially this old guy right I need I'm gonna need a new one especially if it's any longer time right but regardless young or old what what we all y'all admit the body wants to do bad things always right he wants to eat the wrong things wants to look at the wrong things he wants to listen to the wrong things he wants to do the wrong it just the body's always wanting to do what's wrong so there's a day coming though you keep walking with Jesus you stay in faith you bring the body under subjection I'll show you that too it's important to bring the body but he says here let's just read this again verse 20 and 21. for our conversation is in heaven from it's also we look for the savior the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself let's look up another another verse here let's go to John what is I believe yeah first John I'm sorry first John chapter three pretty much states the same thing here verse one through three let's read this behold what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God therefore the world doeth us not because it knew him not look at verse two but beloved now are we the sons of God so so he's saying yeah now if you're born again you are a son and daughter of God and it does not yet appear what we shall be meaning we don't really understand what we shall be this is not the way God's going to leave us we're going to be changed one day but we don't grasp this he says but we know that when he shall appear we shall be like him oh my God I just gives me chills when he shall appear we shall be like

  17. him for we shall see him as he is you know what that's saying the moment we see him we're going to be changed and they just like it and and you know what that gives that's another principle the things you keep your eyes upon is what you become so what you become and he says here we don't have this figured out again we don't know what it's it doesn't appear yet to us what we will be but we know that when he shall appear we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is look at verse 3 and every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself even as he is pure what does that mean that means if you have the hope one day of seeing him and being changed and being redeemed and given that Eternal Body that Incorruptible body that Immortal body eternal life if you have that hope in you then you will purify yourself meaning you will walk after him you will want to obey him you will want to live holy you will seek him you will do your very very best to go after him with all your heart and to live the way he wants you to live is that good or what it ought to be good come on now that's good right there let's go to acts I mean not acts But First Corinthians chapter 15. First Corinthians 15. take a sip strong coffee [Music] really strong coffee First Corinthians 15 let's look at it we're going to start from verse one we're not in hurry this is fine great School of ministry we don't get in a hurrying class see this is the stuff I hope and pray y'all going to be preaching and teaching one day in the very near future Pastor Dean can sit down and rest y'all can preach all right verse one First Corinthians 15 verse one moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also you have received wherein you stand by which also you are saved if

  18. you keep in memory what I sent to you unless you have believed in vain that's a verse that blows once they've always saved no matter how you live right out of the water he says he goes on though he's talking about the gospel for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures and that he was seen of cephas that is Peter and then of the twelve and after that he was seen above 500 Brethren at once of whom the greater part remain into this present but some are falling asleep after that he was seen of James and then of all the apostles and last of all he was seeing also of me also as one born out of due time for I am least of the Apostles that I am not meat to be called an apostle because I persecuted the Church of God but by the grace of God I am what I am in his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain but I labored more abundantly than they all yet not I but the grace of God which was with me therefore whether it it were I or they so we preached and so ye believed now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the Dead so he's like how so how is anybody saying our whole gospel is based on he died for our sins but he rose from the dead you have to believe that for salvation you know that and he says how some of you saying there's no resurrection of the Dead verse 13. but if there be no resurrection of the dead then Christ is not risen and if Christ be not risen then our preaching is vain and your faith is also vain whoa man if we don't believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth God In the Flesh the Messiah the anointed one the Holy One if we don't believe he died for our sin and that he rose bodily from the dead then your faith is vain worthless whatever Faith you think you have worthless that's what we I was blown away in our recent studies in our recent class in apologetics on Jehovah Witnesses talking about they don't believe Jesus physically rose from the dead that's mind-blow because it's South this is completely salvational that's what look this class Redemption this block is about salvation these are things that are non-negotiable about salvation number one God In the Flesh Jesus Is God In the Flesh number two he was sinless born of a virgin and sinless these things are non-negotiable that his blood is perfect

  19. not tainted the blood of God himself otherwise there is no Redemption if Jesus is just a man just a normal man nothing special except that he was a prophet or a great teacher then his blood is no different than mine or yours it would be tainted if Jesus was not born of the Virgin if he was not Supernatural if he was not an internal God In the Flesh then then it just makes Redemption impossible you understand that and this is what he's saying here what how could you believe part of it and not the other part of it how could you believe because see the prophecies say Isaiah 53 he would be what that he would be wounded for our transgressions bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace will be upon him by his stripes we be healed he would be the atonement for our souls but the same prophecies say Psalm 16 the Holy One the anointed one the Christ the Messiah would not see corruption meaning he would not be in the grave long enough to rot away and he would not be left there he would be raised to life okay and Paul's saying if you don't believe this then you're you know our preaching to you was just a waste of time and whatever you think you believe now is a waste is just vanity verse 15. yea and he said if you don't believe in the resurrection of the Dead yea and we are found false Witnesses of God because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ whom he raised not up if so be that the dead rise not for if the dead rise not then is not Christ raised and if Christ be not raised your faith is vain and you are yet in your sins the resurrection of dead is absolutely believing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is absolutely a Salvation issue he says in verse 18 then he says and then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ or perish there's no hope for them there's no there's no Eternal you know there's no Redemption of the body there's no resurrection of the body there's no eternal life and then he says in verse 19 if in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable and what he's saying there is this hope we have in Christ is not about just this life oh my goodness could you preach on that for a while it's not about just this lie in fact James says that this life is a vapor

  20. that appears for a little time and then vanishes away I mean what he's saying is this life is nothing compared to the next one to the eternal life don't miss the next one for sure by letting people deceive you in all kind of false teaching like there is no Resurrection from the dead I mean he's dealing with a false teaching right here he said how they're people among you saying there is no Resurrection just like we got people among us saying Jesus isn't God In the Flesh we got people among us you got to keep the law to be saved we got all kind of false teachers among them false doctrines Among Us stick to this right what does he say let's keep reading verse 20. but now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept and when he's talking about them that slept at all he's talking about is the body being dead the body's asleep not the spirit and the soul he says for Since By Man Came Death by man came also the resurrection of the Dead for as in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made a lie now what's he talking about that a lot of people don't get this can I go ahead and tell you all will be made alive wait a minute what are you talking about Pasadena you talking about universalism no no no no no no that's not what I said do you know everybody's going to be Resurrected everybody 's coming out of the grapes it's just for what purpose let's let's pause right here let me show you all right since we're doing this today we're going to do it fully all right so let's go to Daniel 12 First this makes me want to dance jig a little bit you know why because it's just the truth so trying not to lose my spot in here you got to keep your spot in First Corinthians Daniel chapter 12. look what he said let's read from verse one talk about the end time the Great Tribulation and at that time shall Michael stand up the great Prince which stands for the children of thy people and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was there since there was a nation even at that same time and at that time thy people shall be delivered everyone that should be found written in the book and many of them that sleep in the dust of the Earth shall awake son to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt people that are asleep in the dust of

  21. the earth bodies that are asleep some will awake to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting content I won't even twist your brains any further with this one all right let's go to John the Gospel of John chapter 5. the show Daniel taught this and Jesus taught this then answered Jesus and said unto them verily verily or truly truly I say unto you the son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the father do for what those things however he he doeth he's also do what the son likewise so the Father loveth the Son and showeth him all things that himself doeth and he will show him Greater Works than these that you may Marvel for as the father raises up the dead and quickeneth or makes alive them even so the son quickeneth whom he will for the father judges no man but hath committed all judgment unto the son that all men should honor the son even as they honor the father he that honoreth not the son on Earth not the father which hath sent him verse 24 verily Valley truly truly I say unto you he that heareth my word present tense Greek verb ongoing continuous to in the present he that heareth my word and believeth on him again present tense Greek verb ongoing continues so you got to keep hearing keep listening keep believing hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from Death unto life verse 25 verily very truly truly I say to you the hour is coming and now he is when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God and they that hear shall live for as the father hath life in himself so he hath given to the son to have life in himself and he hath given him Authority to execute judgment also because he is the Son of Man Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all they that are in the grave shall hear his voice how many all All Shall hear his voice and shall come forth everybody or as they say in Atlanta everybody says everybody Marvel not at this for the hours coming in which all that are in the group shall hear his voice and shall come forth they that have done good unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation the great pastor evangelist Prophet really apostle one of the Great Men of God of our time by the name of David Wilkerson used to say the wicked are going to be raised up like we're going to be raised

  22. up and get a body like Jesus has an immortal Incorruptible glorious glorified body he said the wicked are going to be raised up and get a body too he said they're going to get a vessel of Wrath fitted for Destruction I mean their body's going to come back and I've read books and there was a there's a great book called The divine revelation of Hell or the woman is taken into hell to shown this Vision by the Lord a people who inhale their flesh melts off and then comes back and then melts off and then comes back and the worms eat it and it comes back and the worms eat it and it comes back everybody is going to be raised up now when does that happen let's look at they don't happen at the same time let's go to Revelation chapter 20. foreign I think I I do better without PowerPoint it seems to flow better sometimes revelation 20. Revelation 20 we have the two resurrections remember we just read it and Daniel some will wake up to everlasting life others to shame an everlasting attempt that's Daniel 12 we read it John 5 Jesus said some will be raised up to the resurrection of life that have done good listen the only good you can do is believe in Jesus follow Jesus that's the only thing makes you good right be faithful to him to the end he says they lived on evil practiced evil lived evil are going to be these up to the resurrection of Eternal damnation so let's read this this chapter spells this out we're talking about the Redemption of the body so let's keep going we're going to go back to First Corinthians in just a second 15. we'll go back there but let's read this revelation 20 verse 1. after the Thousand-Year Millennial Reign here after Jesus returns and is here physically for a thousand years at the end of that time here's what it says and I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain his hand he laid hold on that dragon that old serpent that is called the devil and bound him a thousand years so this is the beginning of that rather we're going to see how at the end of the Thousand Years what happens he's loosed again anyway but the devil that old serpent which is the devil and Satan and bound

  23. him a thousand years and cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal upon him that he should deceive the Nations no more tell the Thousand Years should be fulfilled and after that he must be loosed a little season and I saw Thrones and they that sat upon them and judgment was given unto them and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus for the word of God which had not worshiped the Beast neither his image neither had received his Mark upon their foreheads or in their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ A Thousand Years but the rest of the Dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished notice what he said the rest of the Dead live not again until a thousand you mean they're going to live again oh the Wicked dad are going to live again they're going to come back to life they're about they're going to be giving back their bodies basically everybody with me you understand what we're doing here the rest of it let's read it again go back and read verse 4. let's read this and I saw Thrones and they that set upon them judgment was given unto them and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus for the word of God would you not worship the Beast neither is image neither received his Mark upon their foreheads or in their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ A Thousand Years but the rest of the Dead lived on again until the thousand years were finished this is the first resurrection so he's going to tell you here's the first resurrection the first resurrection he says blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection on such the second death hath no power but they shall be Priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years so here's here's the first resurrection is the resurrection of those in Christ those who resisted the sin living in sin those who resisted you know in the end time resisted worshiping the Beast and the mark and all that those who died he said those will be raised up this is the Resurrection the first resurrection is the resurrection of the righteous debt and he says and they will live again they will be given glorious but remember we've already covered this that these righteous dead will be given their new bodies The Immortal glorified bodies we're going to finish reading about that a minute First Corinthians 15. and he says here though that this first resurrection this takes place at the second coming of Jesus at Armageddon I believe it all happened all right now he goes on to say though a thousand years later he said that the wicked dead are not going to live again until the thousand years are over so at the end of the Thousand Years let's let's keep reading verse 7 and when the thousand years are expired or come to an end Satan shall be loosed out of his prison and he shall go out to deceive the Nations which are in the four quarters

  24. of the earth Gog and Magog to gather them together to battle the number of whom is as the sand of the sea and they went up on the breath of the earth that is they went up on the Flat Earth and Compass the camp of the Saints about and beloved in the Beloved City and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where he uh where rather the Beast and the false prophet are already all right you see that and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever so after this at the end of the Thousand Years Satan is loosed he goes to deceive and the people that follow him again are judged the people that lived in the millennial reign as normal human beings are judged this is what he says and I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whose face the Earth and Heaven fled away and there was found no place for them and I saw the dead small and great stand before God and the books were open and another book was opened which is The Book of Life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works and the Sea gave up the dead which were in it now let me ask you something why does it matter that the sea gives up the Dead if it's not a physical body why does it matter if you're in hell yes let's say your physical body you were a wicked Sinner and you died in the ocean and the sharks ate your body and pooped you out right what does it matter about your body what is it why would it say The Sea gave up the dead what does it matter if your spirit and souls in hell you're called Up Before the Throne of God you're going into the Lake of Fire why aren't we even talking about the sea giving up the Dead let's keep going the sea gave up the dead which were in it and death and Hell delivered up the dead which are in them and they were judged every man according to their works so death and hell were cast in the Lake of Fire this is the second death and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast in the Lake of Fire so I believe that everyone is going to be resurrected now the point is which Resurrection you're going to be in the one of the righteous unto life because you have been born again and followed Jesus or the resurrection of the wicked one happens at the second coming of Jesus at Armageddon one happens a thousand years later after his Thousand-Year Millennial Reign on the earth the wicked dead okay everybody got it everybody coming back um the the vessel around for Destruction that's in Romans somewhere I have to look it up real quick um but let's go back to

  25. First Corinthians 15. where did we leave off there let's see oh yes so we're gonna go back let's go back to verse 20. so he's back talking about the resurrection but now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept for Since By Man Came Death by man came also the resurrection of the Dead so what he's saying is for as in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made alive so that's what we're talking about but every man in his own order Christ the first fruits afterward they that are Christ at his coming then come at the end when he shall deliver it up the kingdom to God even the father when he shall have put down all Rule and all authority and power for he must Reign till he hath put all enemies under his feet The Last Enemy that shall be destroyed is death for he hath put all things under his feet but when he saith all things are put under him it is Manifest that he that he is expected or accepted rather which did put all things under him and when all things shall be subdued unto him then shall the son himself also himself be subject unto him to put all things under him that God may be all in all else what uh shall they do which are baptized for the dead if the dead rise not why are they then baptized for the Dead and why stand you in Jeopardy every hour I protest by your rejoicing which you which I have in Christ Jesus our lord I Die daily if after the manner of men I have fought with beast at Ephesus what advantage it me if the dead rise not let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die be not deceived evil Communications corrupt good manners awake to righteousness and sin not for some have not the knowledge of God I speak this to your shame but some men will say how are the dead raised up and with what body do they come thou fool what's your love Paul now fool he says that which thou sowest is not quickened accepted die and that which thou sowest thou so is not that body that shall be but bear grain but bare grain that it may chance of wheat or some other grain but God giveth it a body as it pleased him and to every seed his own body All Flesh is not the same flesh but there is one kind of Flesh of men another flesh of Beast another flesh of fishes another of birds there are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial but the glory of the celestial is one and the glory of the terrestrial is another there is one glory of the son another glory of the Moon another glory of the Stars another glory of the planets uh oh oops that's not there right

  26. just the glory of the Sun the glory of the moon and the glory of the Stars for one star different from another star in glory so also is the resurrection of the dead now listen closely it is sown in corruption it is raised in incorruption it is sown in dishonor it is raised in glory it is sown in weakness it is raised in power it is sown in natural body and it is raised a spiritual body there is a natural body and there is a spiritual body and so it is written the first man Adam was made a living Soul the last Adam was made of a quickening spirit how be it that was not the first which is spiritual but that which is natural and afterward that which is Spirit the first man is of the earth earthy and the second man is the Lord From Heaven what the second man is the Lord From Heaven hmm he says as is the Earthly such are they also that are Earthly and as is the Heavenly such are they also that of the Heavenly and we have borne the image of the Earthly we shall also bear the image of the heavenly now this I say Brethren that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God neither doth corruption inherit incorruption meaning the way we are now will not inherit the kingdom of God we must experience the Final Phase of our Redemption bought by Jesus and that is the Redemption of the body we must make it to that point that's why it says he then endures to the end shall be saved right the end of your life or the end when Jesus comes you must endure being faithful to the Lord and your faith in him your walk with him your relationship with him to the end so that you may change be changed from corruption or flesh to incorruption Immortal the Heavenly Body let's look at it he says verse 51 behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall be changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last Trump for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised Incorruptible and we shall be changed for this corruptable must put on incorruption and this Mortal must put on immortality so when this corruptable shall have put on incorruption and this Mortal shall put on immortality then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written in the prophets death is swallowed up in Victory O Death where is thy staying o grave where is thy Victory The Sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law but thanks be to God which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ therefore my beloved Brethren be

  27. ye steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord so he says plainly we're going to be changed in a moment in the twinkling of the night now let's go to First Thessalonians since we're doing this we're going to do it all the way first Thessalonians chapter 4. the Apostle Paul spelled this out it's called why it's called the Rapture I will never know it's never been called that it's been called the biblical names for this the Blessed hope right the resurrection right the first resurrection um but again most people call this the Rapture now of course the big arguments when's this going to happen in the context of the last days and I believe Jesus told us and I believe the Apostle Paul told us and I believe the Book of Revelation tells us but still people don't believe that so but let's read this verse 13. but I would not have you to be ignorant Brethren concerning the them which are asleep that you saw or not even as others which have no hope he's just talking about those that are dead right the physical body sleeping in the grave not the spirit and soul he says for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent or proceed that's what that means or go first them which are asleep or dead for the Lord himself should ascend from heaven with a shout of the voice of the Archangel with the Trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord wherefore Comfort one another with these words so again Paul this is you know first Thessalonians was one of the first books I think Galatians was written first and then first Thessalonians so two of the very first Epistles that Paul writes the Holy Spirit instructs him he says this we're giving you I'm giving you by the command of the Lord there's going to be a resurrection at the second come when Jesus comes those in Christ those who died their bodies are going to be raised up we which are alive guess what we're going to be follow right behind them and we're going to be changed in the moment in twinkling of night we're going to go from corruption from this body to the next all right everybody got that

  28. pretty good right you got a question no I go to John 6. let's look at this because Jesus talks about this in John 6. we're almost done this morning Jesus talks about this when this is going to happen verse 25 and when they had found him on the other side of the sea they said in them Rabbi when came as thou hither and Jesus answered and said in the very very I say to you seek me not because you saw the Miracles because you did eat the Loaves and were filled labor not for the meat which perisheth but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life which the son of man shall give unto you for him hath God the Father sealed and they said in them what shall we do that we might work the works of God and Jesus answered and said to him this is the work of God that you believe on him whom he hath sent so Jesus is talking to them about the resurrection of the Dead let's let's just skip on down a little bit Jesus said unto them I am the bread of life he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst now the word cometh and believeth guess what verb tenses they are in Greek presidents ongoing continuously taking place in the present so he that keeps coming to me he that keeps you know believing in on me trusting in me clinging to me is what that word means so the ones who continue shall never hunger or never thirst but I said unto you that ye also have seen me and believe not all that the father giveth me shall come to me and to him that cometh to me I will know Wise cast out and of course this is one of the main verses used for once saved always saved but again when he says he that cometh to me I will know why it's cast out that is a present tense Greek verb ongoing continuously and presently so if you're if you're continuously believing in following after running after Jesus the Jesus of the Bible the Jesus of the New Covenant you're living according to that when you die when Jesus comes it's not I'm saved no matter how I live it's a continual coming a continual believing a continual hearing and obeying it's a continual walk a continual relationship but he goes on to say for I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of him that sent me and this is the Father's will which he has sent me that all of which he hath give me I should lose nothing but should raise it up against again at the last day now first of all people misquote this because they got bad translations but they say that all that the father giveth me I should lose nothing that's the correct translation now should it should the same as Shout what it should mean

  29. perhaps conditional see if I say Josiah if you're driving home today if you were driving the van home and I said you shall make it home safely all right but if I say well if you obey the laws and stay in your lane and do what you need to do pay attention you should make it home so what am I leaving I'm leaving the chance the possibility that you might not because that's reality you could make it home safely or you might not make it home safe but you should if you do what you need to do that's why the word should is used here and this is the Father's will which he had sent me that all of which he hath given me I should lose nothing not that I shall see the difference the ones they've always saved crowd says see God said I will not lose anything no he said I should not doesn't mean he won't shouldn't happen what should raise it again raise it up again at the last that should okay so here Jesus says that I'm going to what raise it up at the last day he says let's go to verse 40. and this is the will of him which sent me that everyone which seeth the son and believeth on him the word seeth president's Griefer ongoing continuous present action taking place in the present and he that believeth ongoing continuous action taking place in the present so he that seeth the son and believeth on him may have don't you love these words with me what's May Maybe might may have everlasting life and I will raise him up at the at what in the last days is that what he said no that's not what it said doesn't say in the last days at the last day the last day as you can see he tells us look at verse go down to verse um oh look at verse 44. he says no man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him and I will raise him up at the last day so this resurrection of the body this Redemption of the body this Incorruptible body this Immortal body that's going to be raised up if it's dead in the grave it's going to be raised up made new renovated recreated remodeled

  30. it's going to be made like Jesus bought isn't that good see Jesus rose physically from the dead so he we're going to have our spirit soul and body reunited isn't that good you know when Jesus this is something y'all get a kick out of Jesus said every hair of your head's numbered right I'm gonna get all my hair back it'll all be back y'all might go who is that over there didn't have who is that guy with that flowing head of hair we'll get it all back man people that hey you think that's funny but people you think people that lost the arm in this life are not going to have their both arms in heaven now they're going to get it back the Soul Surfer will have both her arms back she makes okay you know I got to cut up a little bit it's pretty clear the resurrection of the righteous at the second coming of Jesus the dead in Christ first we which are alive it's at the last day not last days not some metaphor not some figurative speech the last day so we endure to the end some of us it will be the end of our Lives we will die before the second coming of Jesus some of us will live all the way to the second coming of Jesus I believe that in my heart at least what I see happening in the world but if not it doesn't matter there will be a day that Jesus returns and the dead in Christ will rise first and then those alive and there's going to be the full Redemption Everything Jesus bought and paid for then to redeem restore renew reconnect a spirit a soul and then finally body the Redemption of the body that is his promise and that's good news amen all right well that's all I have today for this class you are now established in one of the the you should be established now in one of the essential foundational doctrines of Christ spoken of in Hebrews chapter 1 talks about what the resurrection of the Dead that is a foundational Doctrine it is not optional no well I don't know if I believe that no not optional all right so let's pray and we will dismiss class Father in heaven we thank you for today we thank you God for the truth Lord just

  31. the peace and the joy and the hope that we have that you're not going to leave us in these vile bodies in these sin ridden flesh bodies that that desire to do evil you're going to fulfill the complete Redemption as we remain faithful to you to the end you promise that you will redeem the body that you will change it from corruptable to incorruptable from Mortal to Immortal that you will fully redeem the body and that's what we groan and long for we long for that day to be to see you Lord Jesus to be changed to be like you to be with you Lord I pray that everyone in this school everyone that hears these teachings Lord will not drift away or let themselves be deceived by false teachers and false prophets that they would be not drawn away into false doctrines but Lord that they will be faithful to you to your word to the truth to the end so that they may experience that Resurrection Lord that renewing that Lord the full Spirit soul and body Redemption that you bought and paid for in your Holy sinless Blood and through the power of your Resurrection from the dead you have the keys of hell and death for I pray that my preaching and that Lord that it won't be in vain that people will endure to the end faithfulness to you loving you serving you walking with you knowing you they will not be pulled off course into the false doctrines and teachings of men they will make it to the end and be transformed and Lord we just thank you we thank you for the hope of eternal life and that experiencing that Spirit soul and body in the end we praise you we thank you for it it's in Jesus name we pray amen all right no assignment for this class today you have enough work to do you got sermons to prepare it's finals to start studying for your finals will have something from every class you have taken don't be a doozy all right God bless you guys class dismissed
