think the church talks about but luke knows very little about what we call the glory of god sometimes i think is what we're talking about the anointing or we may sense the wind of god's presence every now and then but the glory is is much different the glory of god is much more intense much more terrifying much more purifying one of the examples i could give and many of you already know this and i in isaiah 6 about isaiah's encounter with the glory of god isaiah already knew god he already was operating in the prophetic gifts he already flowed in the word of knowledge i guess you would say in the word of wisdom and the prophetic revelation he already flowed in that and even we we see in healing because of the the ministry to king hezekiah but we see something different when all of a sudden isaiah is there and king uzziah dies and he says i saw the lord high and lifted up and his glory filled the temple and when he saw the glory of god here is a holy man of god here is a prophet of god already now not living in in habitual sin not living in you know some kind of compromise or or rebellion but here's a holy man of god encountering the glory of god what does he say i am undone i am unclean and i live among an unclean people the glory of god causes us to see the sin in our lives it causes us to see the sin around us in a different way the glory of god makes us realize i am not as clean as i ought to be i am not as pure as i ought to be i am not as holy as i ought to be but at the same time the glory of god as he strikes that fear and that respect in you the glory of god makes you want more of that see this is what the church hasn't realized is that the anointing alone will never satisfy our hearts the anointing is good and i thank god for the anointing and i thank god for the gifts of the spirit but that is not where it's supposed to end the church can have the anointing and have the gifts and still be a dying church the anointing is not enough the presence of god is good but the glory of god is better amen the glory of god will change the community the anointing and the presence of god can help strengthen the church but you're not going to see the community change unless the glory of god comes down and this is what we've got to get a hold of and for the glory of god to come down it takes a different level of passion it takes a different level of desperation and commitment and and repentance and hunger and thirst and and it just takes a desire to get the glory of god to come down i mean a baby christian that just got saved and just got filled with the holy spirit can operate in the gifts that does not mean that they have this they've even learned yet what it means to yearn and to thirst and to hunger for
god they hadn't even learned that yet but there are christians as we have we grow and as we've been maybe a christians for a few years and we realize that those little breezes of god's presence are wonderful but we need a rushing mighty wind amen that's what's going to change the church that's what's going to change the community and the church we're going to find out we're going to find out that that you know what david wanted this but made some mistakes and didn't get it and there's some other people that had the glory and lost it and there are reasons why and this is i'll just say this this is one of the things that i think that we we've got to get a hold of especially this younger generation is that there are things that god will tolerate in his glory i mean in his presence or his anointing that he will not tolerate when glory comes there are things that you might get away with without judgment or correction on your life from god but when the glory of god comes down that's when people drop dead in church just ask ananias and sapphira some people look at that story and they wonder say why it seemed like god was so harsh but what you don't understand is that the level of glory that was there and what god was doing could not be tainted god was establishing the church in its infancy stages it could not be tainted it could not be compromised it could not it could not have any mixture in it and so when they came in and lied to the apostles and lied to the holy spirit god said i can't let you ruin or contaminate this atmosphere because god said if i let you contaminate the atmosphere then i have to lift off and if i have to lift my glory off then this baby church won't make it and that's where god is is with us he sometimes even has to remove some some people you know some churches sometimes need to grow in reverse before they can actually move forward amen that's what happened in acts chapter five and it says it's amazing if you read acts chapter 5 it says after that happened great fear fell on the church but it also says that great signs and wonders happened the fear of god produces the life of god the respect of god the honor of god the fear and trembling when we sin well i can tell you i can tell where a christian is let me tell you if you sin and you've got this attitude that you know what the grace of god covers it and it's no big deal you your heart attitude is so far off you don't even know where you are but the christian who who has touched the glory of god a little bit they'll know when i sin i tremble because i don't want to lose this glory i don't want you lifting off of my life samson found out what it was to lose the glory off of his life he even said i'll go out like i used to no god was lifted off of his life this is something that i'm passionate and hungry about i spent many days i mean i go back i've been doing this for many years now and i would go where god was moving in
the past i've been i was there at larry lee's church on chur in church on the rock rockwall texas back in 88 and 89 when god was moving and the prayer ministry was being pretty much the prayer ministry was being established in the united states and being focused on and spiritual warfare was becoming a subject that people were starting to deal with i saw what happened i saw why church on the rock fell apart i was there when it fell apart i got to see the brownsville revival a friend of mine was the children's pastor i lived in montgomery at the time i went down once a week because i knew it was a real move of god i remember walking in there the first time in the glory of god being in that place and i remember after studying after years of studying revival history from finney and azusa street and wesley and the first great awakening studying all those things when i walked into brownsville i knew the glory of god was there in a different way and we just we've we've got to catch some things because god wants to move you know god was and i'm going to say this this may be a controversial statement but god was moving at lakeland but lakeland had problems and because the problems didn't get addressed it got so hungers to move he was moving even though there were problems going on but the problems caused the thing to die and that's what i want to talk to you about this morning what i want to talk to you about is both two things pursuing and attaining the glory of god pursuing and attaining the glory of god this is something that david understood and i i want to just read this i wrote this down last night when i was praying over this and studying but revival i wrote down i said revival real revival is an outpouring of this glory manifested by the holy spirit that's what revival is when the glory of god descends that's that prayer in isaiah 64. god rend the heavens and come down here rent the heavens and come down when that glory comes down that's revival when people are shaking under the fear of god and they're trembling under the glory of god when you're when when the priests can't stand to minister when when it's not about falling because there's some wind but when it's you can't stand because you are broken over your sin and the sins of your nation and you're groaning and weeping and grieving in the spirit because you want people to be saved and delivered from sin and from going to hell when that grips you when that glory grips you and i remember being brownsville and i remember it was august 9th 1997 in a pew there the glory of god gripped me so strong the groaning and the weeping for lost souls and i remember that i fell over it wasn't i fell out or anything it was that i could not stay in the pew i had to get on the floor and groan and weep under the glory of god for god to move and god spoke to me then there are things i've shared in the last couple weeks god spoke to me about a move of god about a revival that was to
take place i believe in this area back then in 96 and 97 and god is wanting to do a great thing i believe he's wanting to do the brownsville revival about times 10 because god always increases things the thing that he wants to do the thing that we say now listen the thing that many of us say that we want god wants more than we do but there are things that he can't do if we are not in the right place remember nazareth he went to nazareth they were offended at him there was unbelief there and he said jesus could do no mighty work there he still healed a few sick folk but he could do no mighty work well don't we want the mighty work we want the mighty work well that means we got to have some things out of the way amen unbelief out of the way compromise and sin out of the way obedience to the holy spirit instantly doing things that seem crazy sometimes hunger and desperation willing to talk to anybody anywhere at any time about jesus willing to preach the love of god and the fear of god if we get some things right god will move i want to read this we'll go to this go to uh i told you first chronicles 13 didn't i want you to see the problems one of the problems and and here's this is somebody i mean king david the man after god's own heart right that's what god testified a man who is a man who is after my heart well he didn't always do everything right as we well know right and here he didn't now i'm going to say this this is the story of david deciding to bring back the ark he wanted to bring back the ark of the covenant to the people of god now i want to say this just for some of you who may not know this and i was going to try to have some pictures that we could put up there on the tv i just couldn't get it all done but the ark of the covenant that stayed in the holy of holies in the in the tabernacle of moses represented and represents to us the manifest glory of god this was the glory that only the high priest could enter into once a year this was the glory that if he entered in incorrectly if he entered in with anything wrong in his approach or his garments or his life he would drop dead they tied a rope to his leg in case they had to drag him out because no one else wanted to go in there and get it okay this is something about we think that things have changed drastically from the old testament to the new not really the only thing is that god now poured out most of his wrath on jesus on the cross and he bore that sin out now god has a little bit longer patience but we are headed to a season where it's called the wrath of the lamb
so god's not done with wrath yet but he is patient but if we want glory then we got to be willing to change some things and david wanted the art to come back because he knew that the ark was god's way of doing things god told moses to make the ark according to pattern he saw in the vision when he was in up on the mountain he told moses to make that and god said you make it the way i tell you i will manifest my presence and i will be there and that was the cloud by day in the fire by not god's manifest presence in israel among his people and listen if we don't have the manifest presence of god in our lives and in our church then you know i i'll quote bill johnson said this matter of fact i wrote it down he said if we don't if the church doesn't have the power of god then we're nothing more than a country club with good morals and most churches are just a country club minus the good morals okay i don't want that i hope none of you do there's got to be this hunger for something more but look david had the right hunger and he was going after the right thing let's read it first chronicles 13 verse 1. david consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds and with every leader and david said unto all the congregation of israel if it seemed good unto you that it be of the lord our god let us send abroad unto our brethren everywhere that are left in all the land of israel and with them also the priests and the levites which are in their cities and suburbs and that they may gather themselves unto us and let us bring again the ark of our god unto us for we inquired not at it in the days of saul if you're marking in your bible or you know to mark that verse verse three then he said let us bring again the ark of the presence of the glory of god to us for we inquired not at it in the days of saul and all the congregations said that they would do so for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people so everybody's fired up about doing this so david gathered all israel together from shai of egypt even unto the entering inn of himeth to the to bring of the ark of god from kirigathiram or jiren and david went up in all israel to bala and that is karjatin which belonged to judah to bring up against the ark of god or the ark of god the lord that dwelleth between the cherubs whose name is called on it and they carried the ark of god in a new cart out of the house of abinadab and uzziah and ohio drove the heart of the cart rather and david in all israel played before the lord with all their might well they had some worship going didn't they played with all their might now here's an anointed gifted called worship leader right man of god playing with all their might with singing with harps with saultries with temples with
symbols and trumpets and when they came into the threshing floor of kiron ozza put forth his hand to hold the ark for the oxen stubbled and the anger of the lord was kindled against azza and he smote him because he put his hand to the ark and there he died before god and david was displeased because the lord had made a breach upon azah wherefore that place is called perez azza to this day and david was afraid of god that day saying how shall i bring the ark of god home to me so david brought not the ark home to himself to the city of david but carried it aside into the house of obed edom the gettite and the ark of god remained there with the family of obed edom in his house three months and the lord blessed the house of obed edom and all that he had now i want to look at this just for a second because some of the things that i said a minute ago i want to show you in the scriptures that it's interesting that saul king saul was anointed you can go back and read this in first samuel 10 but king saul was anointed by god the spirit of god came on him so strongly that it says that he he was turned into another man his heart was changed there used to be a traditional teaching during the word of faith movement that the spirit of god didn't come into old testament saints well i beg to differ because the bible says that saul was given a new heart he was changed into a new man kind of sounds like getting saved doesn't it anybody is in christ he's a new creature old things pass away all becomes new the spirit came on him and saul even began to prophesy and they began to say is not saul among the prophets and and of course god's anointing came on him and he had great victories for the children of israel i mean in warfare had great victories so god was using him but you know how long that lasted before saul started messing up two years two years now what saul had was the anointing of the holy spirit he had the touch of god the presence of god on his life but it isn't interesting that as we read this about david the thing that david said there was that we saw not after the ark in the days of saul was king for 40 years and never went after the glory of god he was satisfied with the anointing and with the gifts and with his position and saul was more concerned he was more concerned with the people honoring him he was more concerned with his position than with obedience and because saul never pursued getting the ark the glory of god back into i think the fear of god never really registered in his heart and saul had a very flippant attitude about disobeying god and disobeying the prophet
and that cost him it costs all his anointing it costs all his destiny it costs all matter of fact we read this a few weeks ago on i did a couple on on don't miss your destiny but but it says if you read in that area where saul disobeyed in first samuel 13-15 you'll see where god said about saul that he would have established his kingdom forever whoa god had a plan for saul that never happened and as a matter of fact in first samuel 16 it says the moment that god said i've chosen somebody else and and samuel the prophet went and anointed david and said the spirit of the lord came on david it wasn't that david didn't already have the spirit of lord it was the spirit the anointing to be king and the anointing came on david it says the spirit of god left saul and the evil spirit troubled him wow guess what after that saul still prophesied he still operated in the gifts but he became very confused individual you ever seen any christians like that i call them schizophrenic christians they're right one minute about something they say something that's right and the next minute they're throwing javelins trying to kill folks saul was still still in his position so david said we didn't seek after this ark this glory in the days the moment that david becomes king you know david became king in hebron for seven years before he became king over all israel but the moment that david became king over all israel the prophetic word about his life had been fulfilled and he became king the first thing he did was gather the people together and say we must seek after the glory of god we must bring back the ark we must bring back the pure worship the true worship we must bring back this holy presence to jerusalem but they didn't do it right the bible says in the old testament in exodus and numbers what was the law about the ark being carried the law the word of god was that the ark could only be carried with the staves that went through the rings on the side and it had to be carried on the shoulders of the priest and the priest had to sanctify themselves that means they had to get clean before they touched this thing so the ark was to never be set on a new cart it was to never be set on anything made by man it was supposed to be on god's shoulder they were trying to take a shortcut and they were in disobedience to the word of god and it may seem like a little thing to us but god will not compromise his word for any of us he
will not break it he will not change it and i want to tell you you will know if you have the fear of god in your heart if you believe that god means what he says both the good stuff and the bad stuff the reason i had the fear of god in my heart is not because i don't believe god loves me i believe god loves me i believe god's patient with me i believe he has a plan for my life i believe he'll forgive my sins if i confess them and turn from them i believe god is patient but one thing i know if i want to go down a lifestyle of sin if i want to leave him if i want to walk away from him everything he's there are people departing from truths like the truth about hell and about judgment about backsliding about falling away and god's like i'm not i'm not overlooking any of this so azza dies and i just want to say this when you you you may be sincere you may go after the right thing you may say the right thing you may have all the right you may have all the people gathered together you may have the greatest worship leaders and you may have all these things but if some things are not according to god's word it's going to produce death in the end if if that's one thing i can say is the perfect example of that is lakeland the lakeland revival perfect example god was moving there were some you know i love to listen i love misty evers i love heather clark i love um i mean roy feels great just the worship there was awesome was god doing some things yes was there a mixture there yes was there some people that should be shouldn't have been there should have been associated with there yes were there some faults doctrines going on some questionable teaching there yes some things behind the scenes and what happened was and and this you know what grieve me god was there he was moving and what grieved me was when that fell apart and the divorce and the marrying the todd bentley marrying the girl he had an affair with and all that i sit there and i go here's a generation and some of you you know some of you you youth and college age i said here's a generation hungry there's a generation out there that's hungry and thirsty and it so grieved me because i said they don't need this they don't need us older ones talking the right
talk getting everything all hyped up and going and then it ought to blow up in our face we don't need that anymore the reason brownsville went for five years so they had some things right the message was right and let me just say this the message of revival has to be repentance the message of revival a true message there was such conviction of sin that even christians think they're not right with god sometimes charles finney said that true revival is not going to teach and i'm just going to say this i don't even know some of you i don't know where you stand doctrinally theologically but in true and i've studied this history for years and even wrote a book on it this the issue of calvinism or eternal security you're once saved always no matter how you live that god's not going to honor that doctrine not going to on it because it's not biblical not to get the glory no everything has to be according to what the word or god's not playing azusa street revival 1906 to 1909 1910 the zoo street revival you know how why it ended it could have went on for many more years in just three and a half years the azusa street revival ended because the the the god had poured out his spirit the glory was on that building they said that people could see the building sometimes it looked like it was on fire the fire trucks would come out the glory of god would be so strong in that building and in the area around it they said that people walking down the sidewalk would fall out in the spirit two three blocks away it went three and a half years 24 hours a day seven days a week people were getting filled with the holy spirit the gifts were operating the power of god was there people were going out witnessing people would come in there like john g lake get touched get filled and go out and touch africa powerful move of god but you know what happened what always happens the devil tries to get in and he tries to stop these things and so the devil brought the spiritist and the mediums in there the witches began to come and they began to operate and pretend like they were christians and operate in their gifts but with their spirits of divination and here's the ironic thing is amazing thing is that william seymour and frank bartleman and some of the others who led the azusa street revival discerned these people had the wrong spirit but didn't do anything about them didn't put them out the one that followed remember the girl with the spirit of divination that followed paul for a while and paul finally when he discerned it he says he was grieved in his spirit he said to the spirit come out of her she was trying to infiltrate his ministry by saying the
right words these men are servants of the most high god they show us the way of salvation but but paul would not let her infiltrate his ministry so as to defile the spirit and cause god's glory to lift off we associate sometimes these wrong associations if you go to the book of revelation you see the church of thyatira god says you've got some wonderful things there's good things in you jesus commended them for several things but then he says but you tolerate this woman jezebel who calls herself a prophetess and she teaches my servants and seduces them to commit fornication and eat things sacrificed to idols she subtly lures my people into sin and into compromising into into a wrong spirit he says because you let her stay there and he's speaking to the pastors and the leaders that he said because you let her stay there i'm going to let her say he said i gave her space to repent i tried to get her to repent she wouldn't repent she wouldn't change so now i'm going to let her stay there and those who keep committing adultery with her keep fellowshipping with her he said i'm going to cast them into a bed of sickness and some of her children i'm going to kill with death sound familiar ananias and sapphira azza there can't be compromise and there can't be wrong associations there can't be some things you can get away with in the glory i mean in the presence or the anointing you can't get away with in the glory and just so y'all know this and y'all just write this down just so you know you can go back and check me in the in the hebrew dictionary if you want to but if you look in the bible at the word presence all the way through the old testament it is the hebrew word pawning and it means the face of god or god turning his face toward you that's a good thing amen the presence of the bible says the mountains will flow down just at the presence of god right but the greek the hebrew word rather for the glory of god is kabald which means a very heavy weighty which to me it just means a whole lot more right and the glory of god would come down on the mountain and the people were terrified of the glory of god remember the glory of god on moses they they ask him to put a veil to hide his face why you know you know what i wrote down this is when i was in washington dc preaching the lord just started giving me these things about the glory of god remember they had the presence of god in the camp with the tabernacle but the glory of god was on the mountain with moses joshua wanted to be there didn't he the glory of god do you want the glory of god the presence of god the pawnin this is what god told me one day he said the the presence is the atmosphere around me
the glory is part of me it's me in the presence of god they made a golden calf and worshiped it in the glory of god people started dropping dead that were in fornication in the camp you see the difference in the glory of god isaiah says i am undone i am unclean in the presence of god they would whine and murmur and complain but the glory of god i'm telling you guys is what satisfies the heart this is why david prayed that prayer turn and look look at this turn to psalm 63 hold your place though in chronicles we may come that back to that but psalm 63 i just want you to see this are y'all with me on this we get the glory of god down here revival will come psalm 63 this ought to be a prayer of ours right here remember me talking about the glory has to have a desperation to it there has to be a yearning there has to be a deep cry that's what it says verse 1 psalm 63 oh god you are my god early will i seek thee my soul thirst is for thee my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land where no water is and what was he thirsting for and what was he longing for he says verse two to see your power and your glory oh we need to you need to underline that to see your power that's your presence that's the gifts of the spirit that may be some miracles but that's not enough david said i want to see your power and your glory in the sanctuary this is what we've been missing in the charismatic church for years because there has been so much compromise so much false doctrine so much wrong associations and false prophets and teachings and we just let stuff go on and we don't deal with stuff and god says well you've got a little bit of anointing and you've got a little bit of gifts and we we sit back and we get satisfied with that and we die and people around us die and go to hell because we think we we have our little party with our little gifts now i want the full glory of god to come down and when the full glory of god comes down sinners will weep and they will shake under the presence of god and they will say god is in you of a truth i'm giving you my life i'm giving you jesus my heart i'm forsaking all of my sin there is no compromise there is a taking up the cross denying the world and following jesus i don't want to see i don't want to see
just converts i want to see disciples you think about this listen to this if you want to you want to get an illustration of the glory all you got to do is go to acts chapter 9 with saul of tarsus what is a saul of tarsus was going to kill christians and put them in prison and it says that when jesus appeared to him and that it says the light from heaven appeared that's the glory when jesus appeared the glory of god appeared he said there it is hard for you to kick against the pricks meaning that saul had been rejecting and successfully resisting the gentle proddings of the holy spirit so what got paul's attention the glory of god had to knock him to the ground and change his mind about everything he believed that is a conversion by the glory of god he went from going to he wasn't in church he wasn't in a praise and worship service he wasn't on his way to a church me he was the only way he was going to church meeting was to stone the people there and drag them to jail but when the glory of god hit and look what jesus had to say you're resisting the conviction of the holy spirit you're resisting and you know god's people were praying for him you're resisting your resist how many people you know out there resisting they know the truth they've heard the gospel they've heard about jesus they even acknowledge to you it's the truth but i just i'm not ready right now and or you know what i don't know about this or i don't know about that man you know what that ought to make you do that to make you get on your face and go god i've talked to him i've prayed for him you even convict them god and draw them but they're kicking against the pricks this communion they're kicking against the pricks and you know what i realized in in 22 years of studying revival history you know what i realized why we have to have a move of god is because if we don't they go to hell if we don't they're lost if we don't they keep kicking against the pricks and they keep resisting they have got to have an encounter with the glory of god and the only way they're going to have that is that we have got to get so desperate and so burdened and so so filled with the fire of god in the in the in just the agony of god for these people listen i realize you know what the anointings on my life i know that the gifts of the spirit flow through i have seen great miracles but none of that satisfies me until i see them come to jesus that is all that matters and for them to come to jesus in truth and you know what i've realized the older i get and the longer i do this the more i realize that how
much how weak i am and how little power i have and if god doesn't rim the heavens and come down nothing's going to be accomplished worth anything there are big ministries out there that have the anointing but they don't have the glory they talk a good talk but there is sin in the camp and there is false doctrine in the camp and there are false prophets in the camp and they don't do anything about it and they might flow in the gifts a little bit but the glory of god's not coming down until this stuff gets corrected and i have determined in my heart that this church and anybody that wants to work with us in this city that this church is going to say no we're going to stand for what is right what is holy what is pure because it what honors god so he won't be grieved away man the bible says in the new testament we can quench the holy ghost stephen preaching to the sanhedrin said you always resist the holy spirit as your fathers did so do you ephesians 4 don't grieve the holy spirit of god man we grieve him we resist him you know what greed grieves him is this is sin com i mean it's just you know as as a pastor as a minister over the years just how many christians are still looking at pornography how many christians are still watching hbo and cinemax how many christians are taking you know unrated uncut versions of these silly comedies into their house that are full of nudity and constant you know sexual innuendo this is not something i'm making up this happened recently and they're no longer here at this church because they can't they couldn't take the heat about it do you want the glory of god then there's got to be some purity if we will do that god will come and when god comes get out of the way i was at brownsville night after night after night and saw thousands of people their ears weren't being tickled they weren't being told how everything was wonderful no steve preached on sin he dealt with sin every night every night every night and when he gave that altar call if you need forgiveness if you need to get right with god if you need to repent i watched thousands every night i was there sometimes i was a counselor down there because i was a pastor i was a i would counsel and i saw teenagers and college students and and adults and old men and women weeping their eyes out over their sins and over their rebellion and over their
backsliding and over their lukewarmness that's a revival that's what happened with charles finney in rochester new york in 1832 when in six months a hundred thousand people got saved six months without a tv or a radio a hundred thousand people and i'm not talking about a hundred thousand people left this church and came over to this church they were converted turned from their their their own plans their own ways and gave their lives to see that's what i'm talking that's revival that's revival when thousands come you want to revive you want to see listen we we need to erase almost every almost now we need to erase almost everything we've heard about god moving and what god requires and what he does it and what he puts up we just need to erase all that read the book of acts and pray till we get that amen i've heard the talk the flowery talk the big uh you know what show me get a hold of god and get it or keep your mouth shut amen talk is cheap if your heart's not broken you know the bible says that jesus this is in hebrews 7. he says jesus jesus now when he prayed he prayed with strong crying and tears the agonies his burden his realization of people lost deceived and on their way to an eternity in the flames of hell grip jesus that's what got him to the cross you guys two things got jesus to the cross he would do the will of the father no matter what and the second thing is he was gripped with the agony and didn't want people to go to hell and so jesus was i'll do if this cup can pass from me it was horrible let it pass but if not your will be done and it says in hebrews 12 that he endured the cross because he knew there would be joy set before what joy is he talking about there is joy in heaven for one sinner that repents i came to seek and save that which is lost we can have our pentecostal pep rallies act like we're getting drunk in the spirit well i've seen it all now when the glory of god comes down i've been in meetings where the glory of god came down and there were mormons in the meetings and they were on the floor and got up christians
i mean it means where the glory of god come down and everybody was on the floor from seven o'clock in the evening until two o'clock in the morning and they get up and they're not the same they get up and they burn their rock music or they get up and they burn their videos or they get up and they they give their lives to the lord see that's real christianity again acts chapter 19 when they turn from sin when they turn from their witchcrafts and all their stuff what they do he said they burn those things their books and their junk right and i just think god's calling he's calling a group of people now are you willing are you wanting to do what it takes fasting praying separating yourself from certain things in the world i want to be different i want the anointing i want the glory of god man that's what i want the gifts are good but there's more amen every miracle y'all know this every miracle and every so-called gift out there is not always god did you all know that it's something we got to get a hold of too we got to get a hold of not everything out there the supernaturals of god but i believe god's raising up some some of us that are a little older and some of some of you that are a little younger to get it done i believe god's going to have a revival in america again it's not going to be a glorified healing service it's not going to be with an affair going on behind the scenes it's not going to be one we're going to the the false prophets and any any teaching that wants to come along is going to be allowed to stand uh there will be a move of god in america that's pure again and you want to see signs and wonders god made this promise right here now think about this well it's the example anyway but mark 16 he said this he said that when they went forth preaching the word that the signs and wonders followed the word when we preach the unadulterated uncompromised truth when we're living it and we preach it and we're praying it with a pure heart let me tell you when we're doing that the signs and wonders the true signs and wonders
will happen and i'm not just someone who's just talking about it i have seen the death here and the crippled walk and the dead i've seen these things but not to the degree that i know that god wants to do them margie there's a day coming i'm telling you so let's let's do this i'm going to quit because i could go on with this for a while do you want the glory of god you know the guy who whose ministry that i'm ordained under is a true apostle true prophet i believe in the kingdom of god and you know he was here and we were talking about he was here a few weeks back and and he said something and he said you know it's good to say that i want more of jesus he said there's nothing wrong with that but to get more of jesus he's got to have more of you and when he said that i said you know that's it and i think i mean god's just dealing with me more and more more and more give him more more of me you know jesus said if a man what loses his life loses his life for my sake he'll find it we want to we want to have our own deal don't we want to have our own life our own little our own little plans our own little world we've got our own little doctrines and theologies that protect us in this little world and the lord is just wanting to smash all that to pieces and say give me all of it you want to see more give me all i don't know about y'all but i feel this all over me the word of god the prophecies the words over this city they're going to come to pass there's a group of people that's going to see it happen i just want to be part of that amen let's pray heavenly father i thank you lord i thank you lord for your people here today lord i thank you god for what you're about to do lord i know i know that there is i know that there is a move of god there is an outpouring there is a revival you want to do lord in auburn alabama i know it lord with all of my heart god when i came here back in in january lord when out on the campus when i felt it lord more of an open heaven than i felt years ago lord there is an open heaven there is a thing you want to do but god we have to do it like david said according to the do order
we have to do things according to your word we have to live according to your word we have to accept the parts we like and that we don't like god we want your glory we want your glory we want your glory
