There is nothing more important You need to understand this there is nothing more important Than for you to learn to hear the voice of God and know When he is leading you so that you can know That you are in his will for your life, and I can tell you right now his will 99 times out of a hundred is not going to be anything that's in your mind or your plans your agenda in Fact I want to tell you this today the Lord laid this on my heart last night and this morning, and I was praying and for some of you that he has a Radical change for your life a completely different direction and You've gonna have to hear his voice on this matter, and you say well pastor Dean. How do I know you need to take some time? to fast and pray and Say Lord. I want to do your will from my life whatever it is And I'm willing to lay down whatever I need to lay down I'm willing to change whatever I need to change And you're not going to let money or fear Dictate what you do because this is one thing I know about the Lord when you obey And you do his will doesn't mean it won't be difficult at times, and they won't mean that they won't be suffering at times or Seems like the bank account may be empty sometimes But he will always be with you and provide for you When you're in his will for your life, and if you're not and he loves you enough to start interfering With the way you're going things to start messing up bad and Sometimes it's cuz he's trying to get our attention This is not what I have for you. There's something else I have for you to do So it is important. I can't stress this enough the life of a Christian Is to completely and totally deny self take up the cross and follow Jesus wherever his Holy Spirit leads you in whatever he leads you to do and I'm not preaching something that I have not done for the last 37 years. I Will do what the Lord? Tells me to do and that is why and I'm gonna tell you right now That is why the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the blessing of God is on my life
He's ever passed me you got all these difficulties going on in your life and battles going. Yes, absolutely But do I have the peace of God? Do I know that I'm absolutely in the will of God for my life? Absolutely. Do I always pray and ask him? What's next Lord? What's next and you know what I found? It's always he's always gonna stretch me out of my comfort zone Always if you're comfortable You probably in trouble. Let's do this one again, and I want us to really think about the word. Hallelujah Heavenly Father we ask you to fill us with your Holy Spirit Lord fresh in the new Lord. We need a fresh Anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives constantly Lord We need you to fill us and we need you Lord to speak to us through your word and by your Holy Spirit speak to us Lead us into all truth lead us into the truth of your word lead us into sound Doctrine, but also Lord give us the direction For our lives and Lord we know at times those directions are new They change We can't let anything any idle Or any other thing stop us from doing your will and following you and walking with you Listen, Jesus name we pray. This is I guess this is kind of part three This is part three of It's kind of weird. I guess you know when the Lord spoke to me a few weeks ago, and he said come out of her my people It's turned into a little bit more Of course last week was the congregation of the dead and the week before that was the Roman Catholic whore of Babylon And I'm gonna deal more that in fact just let y'all know I've been doing a much deeper dive into church history and Roman Catholic history and Jesuit history and I'm probably God willing in the creek don't rise as we say in Alabama God willing I'm gonna do a series on True churches where the Bible came from we need to know that how it was preserved how the Roman Catholic Church has fought The true scriptures from day one how they've killed Christians and burned them at the stake for years over the Bible We're gonna talk about that and then there's a lot of people think that the Roman Catholic Church has changed it has not changed But we'll get into that in the days ahead Today I've kind of I guess I've entitled this leaving the house of Micah Leaving the house of Mikey's and what is the house of Micah? We're gonna find out and this is even though it has gonna have a broad application of kind of the condition of the church world it's also a personal word and it's a personal word of The only thing that's gonna make us any different than the dead lukewarm backslidden Church world it's pretty much dominating the West right now most of the world the only thing that makes us any different The only thing that's gonna bring the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the power of God on her life is what I was sharing A minute ago, and that is people who are totally surrendered to the will of God Totally surrendered to be led by the Holy Spirit unafraid Unafraid to say whatever the Lord wants you to say unafraid to go where he wants you to go unafraid to do what he wants you to do That's it unafraid and also never letting money Become the issue that causes us to make our decisions money or the lack thereof You know Jesus said this in fact go ahead and put this verse up. This is Matthew 6 24 You're gonna see why I'm saying this today Because I'm gonna tell you right now the idol in most churches and the idol in most people's lives is money And it's not just rich people But Christian people now it takes money to do things and this is not a sermon on giving I know it takes money to do things
But it can never be the ruler it can never be The dictator of your life to the in what you absolutely do or don't do for God So many times the Lord has told me to do things that I didn't have the money to do You know how am I gonna do this Lord? You obey me That's all he says you obey me I've told the story when he told me to go to Texas that time and I didn't have the money to get enough gas To get out of Auburn and he said I told you to go to Texas And I kept saying Lord, I don't have any money to put gases in the car to go to Texas You know what don't argue with him Because he what did he say? Go to Texas Okay. All right Lord. This is what the Holy Spirit kept saying so, you know what I did no money pack my bags pack my bags up to go to Texas and Had my suitcase and I was walking out the door to get in my car and somebody drives up in the driveway and hands me The money said God told me to bring you this They had no idea why I didn't ask anybody. I didn't tell anybody and It was exactly the money I needed to make the tree up there to do what I needed to do there and to make it back home Nothing else and this is what I'm trying to get across to you. We don't make our decisions Based on what we have or we don't have it. Basically, we don't look at the situation of the circumstances The situation the circumstances may look terrible and yet the Lord saying this is what I want you to do And you sit there and argue with him and say but it's a it's not a convenient time for me Lord, don't you see all the stuff going on in my life? And the Lord's gonna say if he's telling you and if you're listening He will say this is what I want you to do and he's not worried You know what? The Lord is not worried about your emotions They don't they don't Manipulate him he's kind of like I've told you what do quick crying and whining and get up and do what I'm telling you to do And Jesus said this was three days. He said No, man can serve two masters For either he will hate the one and love the other or else he will hold to the one and despise the other you Cannot serve God and mammon or money. You cannot serve them both Either God is your king your Lord your leader And dictates to you what happens in your life or money is and it's very important now. Let's go to judges chapter 17 We're going to read a little story in the book of judges about This guy named mica And this is right after the death of samson And this was the time of the judges when there was no king
very few true prophets Kind of like today And when I say there's no king no, we have a king. All right king. We have king jesus But how many in the church world actually submit to him as king? Now what they want him to be is savior and meaning they want their sins forgiven But they still want to just go do what they want to do Yeah, it's interesting how many times if you look at the new testament there's He's referred to as lord. Jesus versus savior Oh, it's like hundreds Hundreds lord and a few as savior. What's he trying to get across to us? He wants to be lord of your life. He wants to be king of your life And I can tell you this right now The church we're going to church being church serving in church blah blah blah blah blah all that stuff Does not mean You have made jesus your lord your master your king And it doesn't mean that you reverence him and obey him like he's a king You know back in the day If the king told you to do something And you looked at him and said no It was goodbye move to the next person, okay, who's what Who's going to go do what I need to be done? Now, thank god. We have a merciful King a patient king But he's still a king. Amen Let's read this my this is judges 17 verse 1 and there was a man of mount ifram Whose name was mica And he said unto his mother the 1100 shekels of silver that were taken from thee about which thou has cursed She was cussing up a storm because her money was stolen He said that you spake us of also in mine ears. Behold the silver is with me. I took it So mica was a thief But from his own mother so this kind of tells you kind of the character of this individual And his mother said blessed be thou of the lord my son And when he had restored the 1100 shekels of silver to his mother his mother said I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the lord and notice that is the Yoda heva he there in hebrew The lord god almighty the creator the god of abraham isaac and jacob She said i've dedicated this to the lord from my hand for my son to make a graven image And a molten image now, therefore I restored unto thee Yet he restored the money unto his mother and his mother took 200 shekels of silver and gave them to the founder Who made thereof a graven image in a molten image and they were in the house of mica And the man mica had a house of gods
And made an ephod and a terraform. These are just basically priestly garments. He created his own priestly garments And little gods he had he had multiple little The terraform or these little family deities that they had And it said he consecrated one of his sons who became his priest Now in those days there were no king in israel But every man did what was right in his own eyes boy. There you have it right there You want to you want to you want a definition of the problem of modern christianity? There's no king in their midst They've not they have not surrendered to jesus as king And so they do what's right in their own eyes and they create this This uh, how do I put it? They could create this mixture religion. They have Okay We'll get more into that in a second. He says But it gets it gets as mica thinks in a second. It gets better for him All right. He's got his he's got his idols He's got his little His little idol of silver And he makes one of his sons a priest so he's like man. I got this religious thing going I got this going and then it's like oh, but it's gonna get better for him So he says and there was a young man out of bethlehem juda of the family of juda who was also who was a levite And he sojourn there and the man departed out of the city of bethlehem juda to sojourn where he could find a place and he came to mount ephraim to the house of mica as he Journeed and mica said unto him whence comest thou and he said unto him I am a levite of bethlehem juda and I go to sojourn where I may find a place And mica said unto him dwell with me and be unto me a father and a priest and I will give the 10 shekels Of silver by the year and a suit of apparel And thy victuals are food So the levite went in and the levite was content to dwell with the man and the young man Was unto him as one of his sons and mica consecrated the levite and the young man became his priest and was in the house of mica Then said mica now know I That the lord will do me good Seeing I have a levite to my priest Now i'm going to stop right here. There's one more chapter about mica and the next chapter basically, the tribe of dan comes in And they decide that they're going to take everything in mica's house all of his gods and his Big idol he has of silver and his his levite priest and dan takes it and they take over this city Called leish and then it becomes actually the city of dan and And what the tribe of dan does is they establish this religion they establish this mixture religion That has where they're talking about they're Worshiping the lord, but they got idols
And now if there's not a clearer picture Of what is called roman catholicism. I don't know if one exists Roman catholicism is the exact thing that is they claim to be Worshipping and following the lord. Jesus christ Yet it's full of idols mary the saints the popes They pray to them. They worship them. They sing to them They make them intercessors for them But there's even a more diabolical problem And the more diabolical problem is that the same spirit that's working within the roman catholic church that took over them many years ago Was it was two two spirits took over the roman catholic church and that was the hunger for money and power political power Because see the roman church at one point was a true church of jesus christ before It got hungry for political power and wealth Isn't that interesting? political power and wealth and that corrupted the roman church over several You go to starting in 300 ad then you get into 400 500 by 600 ad is when you have The popes coming in saying we are the authority of all churches you do what we say not what the bible says And i'm going to go through all this this it's fascinating history lesson But we can point our fingers all day long as the protestant church over here That's not roman catholic and we don't have idols everywhere And we're not praying to mary But we can point our fingers while We still have the problem Of the house of mica where we say oh we worship the lord. We love the lord We're following the lord. The lord is going to do me good And really we have there also an idol made of silver. We have that money idol And the lord says you cannot serve both And listen again, like I said a minute ago. This is not just a rich person problem There's a lot of poor folk that their idea is that their whole goal in life is to become rich They desire to be rich. We're going to touch touch on that verse in a minute the desire to be rich But think about the lukewarm church. What did jesus say this revelation three he said about the lukewarm church He said they say we are rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing And the lord tells them through the apostle. John. It's a prophetic message to them He says you are you are you don't even know
That you're you're blind and wretched and miserable and naked You don't even realize it He said you're lukewarm and and let me just go on and tell you he said because you're lukewarm I'm going to vomit you out of my mouth Let me let me explain to you what a lukewarm christian is a lukewarm christian is somebody that settles for some religion They settle for going to church They settle for trying to be a good person They kind of have their own little list of rules or they have their own measure of what they should and shouldn't do And they have no relationship with jesus christ or the holy spirit and they have no They're not led by the spirit. They're just doing what they think they should do Let me tell you right now If I didn't know from the holy spirit back in 2008 that the lord spoke to me and then confirmed it And then again and again told me go back to opelika auburn area and start a church I would not be here And there was a series of things that he told me not only did he tell me That you are to go back to opelika and the opelika auburn area and start a church But this is where you will be When the end times come this is your final stop I had followed him all over the united states and all over the world wherever the holy spirit would lead me I would go and that's what I did for years and years and years and then he said I want you to go back And I want you to start a church He said and and when these end times come upon you He said I will not suffer your foot to be moved That's why I know i'm not running There's no bug out plan for me I'm here to stand As a pastor and as a church of jesus christ until the end no matter what they do Oh, and it's coming fast upon us But i'm gonna ask you do you know Do you know? That you're doing What the lord is telling you to do? Do you know you are in his will? Are you absolutely sure you're doing what he wants you to do when it comes to your family your work your job? or ministry Or how you are discipling and raising your children Do you know? Say well pastor dean. I don't know Well, then it's time to fast and pray until you know See all that's going to matter. You know, this is why and you guys can put this up This is why matthew 7 Go to matthew 7 verse 21 To me. This is a scary verse
Or passage I should say And why is it? Because jesus said here not everyone that sayeth unto me lord lord Shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven Not everyone See mica was was calling upon the lord yahweh Jehovah The god of abraham isaac and jacob the true god the one true god the creator The god of isaiah and isekia and all the prophets the god of samuel And yet he had idol there And he had his own little priest outfit and he hired his own priest for 10 shekels A year And boy, we got a lot of this going on There are so many people in churches youth pastors worship leaders associate pastors even senior pastors You know what? It's a job man It's 10 shekels in a shirt. That's an old sermon from an old preacher back in the day 10 shekels in a shirt It's a job man And when it's just a job You are never going to hear things that are going to upset anybody And when there are hireling according to jesus in john chapter 10 when they're hireling They're not going to protect you from the wolves either. They're going to let the wolves come in They're going to let the false doctrines come in Because they're really only concerned with one thing and that is fleecing the sheet to provide for themselves trying to keep numbers and nickels, that's it man And that's this house of mica I don't want to tell you a lot of the churches that exist right now are nothing but houses of mica. That's it And it really doesn't matter. There's pentecostal ones. There's charismatic ones. There's baddest ones Presbyterian ones methodist ones. It doesn't matter the denomination. All it matters is Who's the leader? And the people what's in their hearts You will never hear in these places specific rebukes about sin You won't hear it Because i'm going to tell you why because their goal Their goal is to keep the status quo. Their goal is to keep what's providing for them Their goal is to keep everything nice and nice and happy And what this is here's what what blows my mind is how many christians? feel these places fill them up Tens of thousands of people go to these places
And it's quite mind-blowing Hold your finger here on judges and go with me to isaiah 56 Some people say pastor dean. You're just too old school for me Yeah, i'm one of the few left That's old school Let me tell you what old school means to me. Is that? Just being a stickler for the bible Oh, and i'm gonna tell you right now. Let me let me just say this in the research i've been doing Right now if you don't have you a king james bible or a janiva bible king james better than janiva I'm gonna deal with that in the days ahead, but still they both came from basically from the same greek text the uncorrupted text, but if you don't have one of those every other bible that exists Has been corrupted by the roman catholic church every other bible So if you're holding anything but a king james or a janiva bible this morning, you've got something You've got something from the house with your hands Get the other one ready. Just engage Isaiah 56, let's read this verse 10 This was a sad commentary on the pastors The leaders the spiritual leaders of in the days of isaiah and the prophet Says this it says his watchmen are blind They are all ignorant They are all dumb dogs that right there means stupid. It means they are mute. They can't speak what they need to speak They don't say what they need to say Like I said a few weeks. It's not so much what some of these churches Preach and teach is what they don't teach what they leave out what they don't say He says they cannot bark. What's the purpose of a dog to warn you of danger, right? That's what my bear does. Well, he'll let you know he'll wake up the whole neighborhood with his bark When he barks you can feel the sound waves go through you But he says these Watchmen that are ignorant they're blind They they're mute dogs. They cannot bark sleeping lying down loving to slumber Kind of sounds like the foolish virgins who stay asleep too long He says yeah, they are greedy dogs. Oh greedy greedy for what money
Greedy dogs which can never have enough They are shepherds that cannot understand They all look to their own way everyone for his gain from his quarter Come ye say they I will fetch wine and we will fill ourselves with strong drink and tomorrow shall be As this day and and much more abundant if I have ever seen anything that describes The majority and when I say the majority i'm talking about 99 percent of the american church world Even the ones who aren't in the so-called word of faith prosperity movement You'll see people you'll see churches and pastors and leaders rail on that People like jesse deplanis and creflo dollar if you're a pastor named dollar lord have mercy You ought to get it legally change your name But when you got kenneth copeland creflo dollar Jesse deplanis bragging about how their their mansions and their chandeliers And their rolls royces and their I think jesse deplanis has a 54 million dollar plane two of them Lord, how can a man use two of them? But we got kenneth copeland who has a fleet of planes We got all of this crazy stuff, right? We got Remember creflo dollar not too long ago saying he was just it was just pitiful He just needed to raise 60 million dollars because he needed new airplane because you know, the old plane just wasn't good enough anymore Now that we look at that excess and we go wow, but do you know the same thing happens In your local mega community church They just don't have 54 million dollar planes, but I can assure you That the issue is about money How do I know it's about money? Because I listen to what I don't hear. I don't hear the barking I don't hear the warning I don't hear the call to repentance. I don't hear the cry out Of sin in the camp. I don't hear I don't hear the cross being preached and the cross i'm talking about is lay is taking up your cross and following. Jesus I don't hear people's I don't I don't hear these pastors say you must do the will of god for your life at all cost No, it says he tells you the reason why that they are ignorant and mute and cannot bark He said they're greedy
They're greedy dogs Which can never have enough they are shepherds that cannot understand They all look to their own way Everyone for his gain from his quarter from his own area This is so troubling to me Because this is the condition this is how you know it this this mica spirit is upon them If you don't hear the warnings If you don't hear the dying to self message If you don't hear be led by the holy spirit do what god tells you to do You know why I don't preach about giving Because I believe if the people of god are listening to the holy spirit They will do exactly what they're supposed to do with their money and I don't have to tell them Because I believe you should grow up and be led by the holy spirit And I don't ever want to tell you what you should do with your money You should hear from the holy spirit what to do with it And it's not my job to find some way to milk it out of you and manipulate it out of you I can't there's nothing that makes me more sick than you know, a 15 or 20 minute offering being taken up It's insanity I sit through it. I've been in churches where we cringe cringe We we went to one church one time to see a play in the past. It was a play. It was a kid's play And the pastor like got up for 20 minutes To take up an offering and i'm like what in the world you're talking about cringing I just I wanted to get up and I wanted to walk out And it was it was an emotional these emotional pleas And some pastors out there They're just waiting for some like crisis to happen at church so they can use that to milk people out of it Oh, we had a fire Oh the tent caved in oops And then we find out they actually cut it But we need to take up an offering Because we need a new tent Now that's the mica spirit It's this house of mica And you know what the lord says about this house of mica? Come out of her my people come out of her. I I am blown. I'm blown away that there are people That still give money to kenneth copeland
The dude is telling you he's worth Hundreds of millions. I think they said he bragged about being worth 700 million dollars from preaching That's that's after the expenses of his ministry. We're talking about his personal income 700 million dollars he's bragging about and i'm like, how are you still giving this man money? We know somebody Who gives him money? It's insane And that's why it blows my mind how many people remember it says that this levi comes along and said, you know what he was fine Yeah, michael Man, let's let's hop right in here I'll take your 10 shackles in a shirt I'll be your priest. Yeah, let's hang out dude We can do the the religious thing Let me tell you you want me to tell you where this this is. It is huge Not just your mega church christianity. Not just your First baptist country clubs, not just those kind of things But let me tell you where it's huge you want to talk about huge is the worship area the music industry the christian music industry Whoo lord Oh hire me put me on staff pastor You know, it's funny when I was running for governor This was one of the most hilarious things that ever happened. I won't give the name of the people Because i'll have mercy on you But we were there to speak. I was there to speak at this conservative thing to get an endorsement and So all the candidates for governor were there to speak Or almost all of them. I don't know. I guess the the the hippie yoga guy wasn't there but What was interesting is that we had a couple of people come up to me who worked for another candidate was literally getting a paycheck from one of my opponents worked for the campaign getting nice money And and came up to me and said we really really like what you say And what you stand for But it's a job and i'm like So what you're telling me is you have no principles? You have no character no moral character. It's just a job but folks That's a lot of youth pastors in these big churches. It's a lot of worship leaders. It's a lot of senior pastors. It's a lot the machine Provides those 10 shekels in a shirt for lots of people done
Here what here's what blows my mind pastors Worship leaders youth pastors that have resumes and when they when they get fired or they they lose a job they start looking for another one and they don't really care too much as long as the paycheck's right instead of God, what do you want me to do and let me tell you what I believe if if a lot of these people Were listening to the lord a lot of them would be Leaving the house of mica They'd be tired of this whole mess And if they had to go to their living room and pray and worship god and seek Jesus and make him king and then tell some people started coming with them and joining up with them I'd rather see that than these people stay in these house of mica's for 10 shekels in a shirt Because it's a house of idolatry now And this is not what you cannot serve god and money And a lot of people here's here's the other thing a lot of people Run to these big churches that are the house of mica they run to them because It looks nice. I remember when I lived in montgomery Fraser united methodist church Largest church in the city I think it was about eight to ten thousand members. I don't know what it is now But I remember people telling me We go there so people will see us at frasia because it's the acceptable thing to do And we pass out our business cards and this is how we get a lot of work And I thought to myself House of mica a friend of mine that used to come to this church Said when he moved to he was from colman and when he moved here back in the day He came to auburn university then he ended up staying And starting him a contracting business He said that the advice he got when he was starting his contracting business here in opa likea Make sure you go to first baptist church and attend there and pass out your cards. That's how you're going to establish your business That's a mica spirit right there That's a mica spirit. That's a levi spirit Yeah, i'll take it. I'll take it So much that is done in the so-called body of christ is over money and gain and power and position and appearance So much is done It is vain glory Vain glory
Now i'm not saying every single church that's big like that. I'm not saying that there's some good ones out there I don't know of any of them, but there's some good ones out there That don't have mail strippers on poles and stuff or smoke machines Or nightclub going but see this is a serious thing because this is a spirit. It's it is a spirit of of mammon of greed And there are people just as much and again lusting for lusting to be seen Instead of being patient if god's called you to the ministry It ain't all about the pool pitch. Y'all I served the lord a lot of years behind the scenes not in in front of everybody I served the lord a lot of years going to the street and preaching on the street And and and not even having a church I could really go to to bring the converts that were leading to jesus From the street because the churches are so messed up and struggling with that as a young man Oh, i've been fighting this house of mica for a long time It is nothing new And these institutions man these denominations You know what they want. I remember I joined the denomination the only time ever When I was when I was planting churches, I was young and I really wanted Some elders in my life to help me I felt very lonely I was a timothy looking for a paul couldn't find one And so there was this pentecostal holiness denomination that had kind of come away from the holies They were kind of like the assemblies of god church of god, but they were a little bit smaller But they were still a big big group and their headquarters is happy to be in montgomery And I decided you know what? Maybe this is the way to go and I knew one of the pastors and he had he had become a friend He was a church planner and he was he was a good guy. So I thought well, maybe the other guys are good guys, too So I joined this denomination. They ordained me and everything because I already have a church I'm already a pastor And then they started wanting me to go to their things. So I go to the business meetings. I go to the The state headquarters meetings. I go to the church growth. Oh the church growth meeting They had the guy come in from reaching regent university And what I realized it didn't take but a few months to realize, you know what they wanted from me They wanted our church to tithe to headquarters and really After that that's all they wanted There was no help There was no relationship There was no encouragement
Just make sure that check comes in every month from your church And and what was the whole purpose of that check going to these headquarters? Was it for something good? No, it's so that guys could walk around in suits and look important and have a job It's kind of like when I went to the tax assessor's office here in lee county one day to pay my property tax, which I hate doing With a passion because it's the most unconstitutional tax there is And I was telling the lady at the desk this tax shouldn't be shouldn't be I said if i'm if I become governor This is we're going to do away with property taxes She goes well if you did that I wouldn't have a job bingo Property taxes basically paying so that they can have an office and have a job I mean really think about it This this is this is ridiculous But it made me realize We are in big trouble Somebody say amen or oh me Go to mark chapter 10 It's not even 12 yet. So we got we got a ways to go mark chapter 10 Let me turn there. I guess I ought to turn there, huh? Let's read this Go down to verse 17 And when he was going forth into the way there came and this is jesus when he had gone forth into the way There came one running and kneeled to him and asked him good master What shall I do that? I may inherit eternal life And jesus said unto him why callest thou me good. There is none good, but one and that is god Thou knowest the commandments do not commit adultery do not steal I mean did I kill do not steal do not bear false witness defraud not honor thy father and mother And as jesus left out love the lord thy god with all thy heart soul mind and strength and he also left out Don't bow down to idols. He left out a couple there the first two actually But the man says all these i've observed from my youth now. This is what's so beautiful here. Jesus Says here then jesus beholding him loved him Somebody say he jesus loved him Well, that's where the story should stop, isn't it? Right That's where the modern church wants it to stop. Jesus loved him That's where we stop No, that's not where the story stops
They were like this is a good boy and jesus loved him No And jesus beholding him loved him and said unto him one thing Thou lackest one thing you lack Go thy way Sell whatsoever thy hast and give to the poor and then thou shalt treasure in heaven and come and take up the cross and follow me Oh And it says and he was sad at that saying and he went away grieved for he had great possessions And jesus looked around about and sayeth unto his disciples How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of god and the disciples were astonished at his words Because of course i'm sure they interpreted. Well, oh you mean just no nobody that has money can go to heaven No, that's not what he's saying He said children. How hard is it for them that trust? In riches to enter into the kingdom of god trust Where is your trust you either trust? jesus fully You trust god fully with your life Or you trust money You trust your own Finances wealth or ability to get it Or profession or whatever you do you trust those things? More than you trust the lord and and those things determine What you do and what you don't do Y'all hear me Now let's go to go to luke chapter 9 Y'all don't mind going through some bible, do you? luke 9 It doesn't matter if you mind i'm going to do it. Anyway All right luke 9 Let's read this We'll go down to verse 23 This is jesus speaking. He said to them all if any man will come after me Let him deny himself And take up his cross daily and follow me For whosoever will save his life shall lose it and whosoever will lose his life for my sake the same shall save it For what is a man advantaged if he gained the whole world and lose himself or lose as it says in matthew lose his soul Or be cast away And then he adds this in this In this passage. He says for whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words Of him shall the son of man be ashamed when he shall come in his own glory And in his father's and of the holy angels now He tells him If any man will come after me let him deny himself take up his cross daily. Somebody say daily What does that mean?
every day every day deny himself Take up the cross and follow me now John 10 27 everybody ought to know this verse. What does that that verse say? Jesus said what? my sheep Hear my voice And they follow me This is what it boils down to Go to romans 8 14 and I want y'all to queue up if you would jean may prophecy. I want to point out something there this verse has always Stayed in my heart For as many as are led by the spirit of god They are the sons of god Are you led by the spirit of god? Are you led by the spirit of god or your own understanding? Are you led by the spirit of god? or your desire to have position or money or power What motivates you what is the purpose? Let me show you something here go to first timothy 6 First timothy chapter 6 and y'all have that definition ready. We're going to read here from verse 9 But they that will might say will We're going to look up that we're going to put that word up the the Greek definition of that word the greek word and the greek definition, but it is a present tense greek verb, which means ongoing continuous action taking place in the present. So he says for those who will continue constantly desire to be rich fall into what Temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful lust which drowned men in destruction and perdition For the love of money is the root of all evil Which while some coveted after they have erred from the faith And pierced themselves through with many sorrows, but thou old man of god flee these things And follow after righteousness godliness faith love patience maintenance fight the good fight of faith and that means That you fight this fight of faith to make sure That you are working out your own salvation with fear and trembling by seeking god until you hear his voice and you know his will for your life
He says here Fight the good fight of faith lay hold on eternal life wherein to that Art also, uh called and has professed a good profession before many witnesses So it's very he's he's he tells you and let's look at this this definition He tells you that those who have this constant desire And it's not just again. It's not we're not talking about to be a billionaire a multimillionaire But these people have this constant desire and really hear hear me out That your own financial security Is the main issue of your life that can never be You really have to trust the lord Here's what it says the word that that verb will he says to will deliberately have a purpose be minded of willing as an affection to desire And then down here, of course the strongs This is just a multiple the multiple lexicons kind of put together the outline of biblical usage And then he says down here this bulama he I guess that's how you know bulama he Is the way that's a funny word But he says be willing be disposed be minded intend But remember it's a present tense verse. So it means that your your continual purpose your continual intention Your continual direction Is to be rich comfortable secure instead of The will of god the will of god sometimes i've had i've had god over the years and i've shared this I've had the lord tell me empty your bank account. Give it all away Oh, so fear just went struck through somebody's heart right? You felt it, right? Oh god, don't tell me to do that he might Give away the only car you own you ever done that before I have Give it away to the poor family Guess what? It brought a great season of difficulty into my life But it was god's will leave everything And go to africa You know that trip cost me more Than anything else not money But to go to africa that and to obey the lord and go to nigeria in 2002 I had to take seven vaccines Four in one arm and three in another And I went there and I was there for a month and the power of god came down I told my wife I said healing service like i've never had before Where hundreds of people came and got healed Miracles everybody that came to the healing service got healed People got saved It was a it was an amazing
month Of seeing of preaching and ministering in different churches and bible schools and all kind of stuff all over the all over nigeria And when I came back my joints blew up from a vaccine injury reaction Soriatic arthritis And I have suffered with that For now 22 years Oh and don't send me all your remedies because everybody has sent me everything there is The lord will heal me when he's ready to heal me now. They told me i'd be crippled My hands would be mangled by now All these other problems and the problem with my foot is from that But what i'm saying is do I look back and wish I hadn't gone No You have to be willing to take whatever comes to do the will of god You get what i'm saying? Some of these places i've been like when I went to the island of Mauritius and went to nigeria And even to israel at the time israel was in upheaval The first infotada was going on there was fighting the people getting shot in in the street. We were staying I mean a bomb went beside me i've i've been on the airplane with a bomb in nigeria. So I mean Uh, my bags lit up when I got back to atlanta Explosive materials. I mean I got visited by homeland security fbi. Everybody came on. What's what's going on over here? And they told me said the only thing we know is your your bags were next to a bag with bombs in them and two days later bombs blew up in international airport in nigeria in the storage area because Uh, I had a canceled flight. I was supposed to fly nigerian airways from legos back home The flight got canceled. So I went upstairs and bought a german lufonza ticket and flew home They put those bags in the storage area. They blew up. Well, I I had traveled from This side of the country to another side of the country Next to a bomb in a plane and it was supposed to be on the plane to the united states So what i'm saying is I know I knew Going to these places I might not come back But I knew god wanted me to go You know what pastor dean. What if you got killed or something happened? Your life is not your own you're bought with a price Well, what? No, there's no What does it say about moses in hebrews? He was willing rather to suffer reproach with the people of god Than to enjoy The pleasures of sin and luxury and comfort and wealth as one of the princes of egypt
Choosing to do god's will sometimes. Yes It means Suffering walking by faith and not by sight. It means the bank account might be empty It means your life might be in danger It means something might happen to you that make you walk with a limp The rest of your life I think about the little bit of stuff i've been through and I think about chinese pastors who have been beaten By communist soldiers thrown in labor camps and been in there for 10 12 15 20 years Away from their family simply because they were bold enough to obey the lord and preach the gospel to their chinese people And we sit here And whine and complain The lord wants some of you to step out of your comfort zone And do what he's called you to do There'll be a time. I remember the lord said told me it was time for me to step away from you know, my own business When we I had my own business and was happy, you know, because when you start churches You got to work and and do a church you don't get a salary And you don't know when you're going to get one And there was years into it It was you know from 2009 to 20 I think it was 2017 when the lord finally said I want you to step away And go full time and trust me and the money wasn't here for me to do it But guess what obeyed the lord guess what happened when I obeyed the lord The money came in to do it And you know what if the money didn't come in, you know what I do go back to work Tough decision, huh? But you get what i'm saying. It's about the will of god. It's about doing the will of god for your life Let me show you another scary passage. You want us another scary passage? Let me give you a scary passage This one goes right along with that matthew 7 21, but let's go to first john chapter 2 First john 2 everybody there Go down to verse 15 I remember when I was a young man first reading these things 1987 1988 1989 He says here Love not the world neither the things that are in the world if any man loved the world the love of the father is not in him
For all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life And he's not of the father but is of the world and the world passes away in the lust thereof But he that doeth the will of god abideth forever He that doeth the will of god Do you know there are people right now this church in these in these mica churches? They want to scream somebody likes me starts talking about you got to get out of these mica churches You got to quit letting money be the idol. You got to quit letting the desire for money power position whatever Control you. Oh, oh you're preaching that works Uh, uh salvation you're preaching that lordship salvation. Yeah, i'm preaching lordship Jesus is lord He's the one that said why you call me lord lord and do not the things that I say What what is that? I mean think about him saying that out just crying out that he as he did Why do you call me lord lord and do not the things I say? He said here when we got two passages That clearly tell us do not love the world the things that are in the world don't chase after it He said if you do think about it They want to preach love love love god is love but if you do If you love the world and the things that are in the world the lust of the eyes the pride of life The deceitful the the lust and the deceitfulness for the deceitfulness of riches you love those things He says the love of the father is not in you Not there See jesus has to be lord of all or he's not lord at all You understand? And this is the total surrender. I want to I want to play this Now there's a reason i'm playing this not i'm gonna we're gonna play Play the whole prophecy. Some of you've heard it. Some of you haven't always play it for our students at graduation and graduation is coming up But this is a true gift of prophecy a true prophetic word over me in 1989 and I want you to hear the first part because it was it was those two years Night the summer of 1987 into 1989 We passed the summer of 89. So i've been i've been back with the lord two years and all I have been doing All I have been doing was being on my knees in prayer I'm talking about hours and hours in prayer fasting Studying the bible and saying lord My life is yours. Whatever you want to do with it Whatever you want to do and I had no idea what he was going to do. I said, but whatever you want to do with it My plans died But here's what gene made a prophet he walked by me
He laid hands on my back and he said this is what I see and it was a vision a word of knowledge And a and a word of wisdom and the gift of prophecy all working through him That i've watched come to pass but the key is what he says in the beginning What he said I see you And he didn't know me. I never met this man before in my life at that point Hallelu hallelu lord. I thank you for this brother And I thank you for the commitment, you know, brother, this is what I see I see you before god And I see you kneeling there before the lord in a absolute contrition absolute Education unto him just putting your life there saying god It's yours And god's taking you up on it God's placed a calling up in your life God's going to have you teach There's a teaching anointing that's going to come upon you that will be very powerful in the body of christ God says a teacher In my fivefold ministry you will be The cause of the things that i'm stirring inside of you This is not a day of release, but this is a day of preparation for you But there will be a day of release when I will launch you and i'll Push you forth says the lord and you will walk forth in my anointing and my power And you shall teach But there shall not be the things that All would expect but there will be the things of god That will set and the captives free and liberate my body to be what i've called it to be For you will train many others that will go for it And they too shall teach And they shall break the strongholds of the enemy by that taught word Says the lord Hallelujah Now the key to all that the key And i've watched god do that If if today was my last day to be here with you If jesus took me on home today That word has been fulfilled I don't think it's finished in the sense that I don't think god's done But hear me the reason That god has enabled me to reach Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people over the last 37 years With the true gospel of jesus christ that calls them to repentance And true faith and true obedience And a life of surrender the only reason I can preach that and the only reason that these things have come to pass Is because I said to the lord My life is yours So my plans it's over
This is what I believe Is to me one of the greatest hindrances in the life of a christian because many believe Many get saved they're born again Many go to church and try to be good Many are like i'm trying to do what's right i'm trying to be a good father or a good husband or a good Church member i'm trying to And you know what let me let me and let me go ahead and tell you something Do you think that I have been perfect? In all this for 37 new new new new I've had some bad times. I've had some dark times i've had some struggles But I just get back up And say lord forgive me. I want your will to be done in my life I just refuse let me tell you I refuse to give up I refuse to give up when I lost everything you ever lost anything When I lost my job my church my home My business got my car repossessed. I mean you're talking about I lost everything Probably one of the best things ever happened to me because that's when you learn who you really are That's when you find out your identity as a young man It's not in your work or your success or your lack there. It's not who you are That's when you get real with jesus and you have to go lord again My life is yours whatever I got to do And you know sometimes the lord tells you to forsake everything I think about when he called The apostles to begin with they were they they had jobs they had families And the lord said follow me and i'll make you fishers of men the faith I'm telling you the holy spirit had to have touched them At john's baptism and when they saw him they must have known in their spirit This is the christ the son of the living god They were willing to drop everything forsake everything and follow him And we think well, that's them No That is the call to all of us Take up your cross Daily and follow him I remember lennard ravenhill put it this way. He said a man Who was taken up the cross knew he was going to die in a very painful process And what does god want us to do? He wants us to die to ourselves And do his will Period this is why paul made the statement
I die daily Paul said I die daily Because you know what paul admitted in roman 7 paul admitted that he struggled with his flesh too He admitted that he sinned sometimes he admitted he did things he didn't want to do He admitted that there's things that he wanted to do for the lord that he didn't do He said I struggle with the flesh. There's a ward my members warring against the law of my mind Guess what you're going to have this war because you've got the the sin nature living in you you're going to have this war But what did he say? I thank god. I thank god through jesus christ Our lord what he's going to deliver me from the body of this death one day one day We're not going to have this this meat sack suit. That's so sin laden We're not going to have it hanging on to us. We're going to have a new glorified body But in the meantime We got to kill it what it wants and it never wants the flesh side of us the carnal side of us The carnal mind never wants to do the will of god. It doesn't want to suffer It doesn't want to like it wants to be safe and secure And rich and famous and powerful and everything else I remember when I was in college before I came back to jesus We had in sigma kai fraternity when you were a pledge you had to run around and interview everybody in the fraternity With all these questions you had you had to go like I had to interview a hundred people in one quarter Right over a hundred people and I remember one of the questions What do you want to do with your life? And you know when they asked me what I said rich and famous And I was headed that direction already What I what I was speaking and what I was desiring in the flesh was beginning to happen. I was going to be rich and famous And I thought to myself how many people have you asked that question? What do you really want in your life rich and famous? Or rich and powerful. It's the same difference rich and powerful I want the big house on the hill I want the tesla in the driveway. I want the jet ski without a hole in it. I couldn't resist brother But again Do you know the will of god? I don't I don't and I want to say this before I quit because it's time to quit But I know there's there's there's about even in this room right now, and i'm sure some listening too There's about a handful of you that I know i'm not even gonna point you out and i'm not gonna name you But I know the lord is speaking to your heart that it's time To find his will And he's been knowing at you That what you're doing right now is not his will And you've had this knowing in your heart, but it's easy to push that aside
It's easy to push that aside Instead of taking the time to fast and pray and then say lord whatever you say That's what I do See some of you He's going to call to the ministry and i'm talking about you're he's going to put an anointing and a calling to do the ministry on you And and and i'm talking to folks right now. It hadn't been in your mind That you're going to do that You're going to do anything like that teach preach Go in a prison and minister have a bible study Whatever you never thought you would do anything like that And the lord's going to say this is what I want you to do And you're going to do it Some of you It's going to be go preach on that street corner Go down to auburn university and go preach to all the students The lord had me stand up on one of the benches there Right at haley center during the football right after a football game And there were so many people you couldn't even move Had me stand up on the bench and preach to everyone You ever done that before? Get ready Holy spirit tells you to do it. You better do it He's had me stand up in a restaurant and turn around and preach to everyone at this massive table Preach to every one of them preach the gospel to them. They're a bunch of lukewarm backslidden house of mica christians Living in fornication and drunkenness just came from church mind you Talking about their party and they were they did on the last weekend And the lord and i'm hearing all this the lord says stand up and preach the word to them Steak and shake in montgomery I stood up and preached to that whole table and everybody else that could hear in the place You ever done that? Get ready That's when I had the young man stand up and punch me in the chest Now I could have snapped him like a twig. I mean it would been a problem But the lord didn't it was just total peace. It was like don't don't put a hand on him But the conviction of the holy spirit I remember when he got up and did that and my two elders jumped in between us and I like don't touch him I told him I said it's okay. Don't touch him. It's all right And I remember I remember looking around my big Elder who was a former marine mp and I looked around him and I said I said, I guess we know who the real christians are in this room You it was like oh It was just like somebody took the the the sword just stabbed it in every one of their hearts And they just came from the babish church. I'm talking about right down the road that night The lord ever told you to quit a job Who we told me to quit one one time And I needed a job. I didn't have another job
I was working for olden mills. I was down in mobile Working the whole coast gulf coast that weekend. It was the weekend katrina came in the wind was starting to blow And I remember the holy spirit came on me and he's like if you don't quit this job, you are going to die Like it was that strong like you must quit now You cannot work for them any longer I'm like, well lord, I kind of need a job, you know kind of need money right now. I told you You're done Give them back their stuff And leave I packed up my stuff. I didn't even give a note I just packed the bags and the computer and everything else that we had I said here they got what are you doing? I said I quit i'm done. Goodbye Y'all have a nice life. Appreciate it I have to move on with my life And i'm like lord, what are we gonna do now? I remember driving all the way back from mobile and then what was interesting is katrina hit The gulf coast and my entire area that I worked that was my territory. I had no job. Anyway, because it was all gone Gulf port beluxi. I worked that whole area was my it was my district Gone I was like, well I was going to be quitting regardless right But I remember it was like get out of here too I was like, yeah, the hurricane is coming i'm getting out of here But I think about all the times I could go down So many times stand up in this stand up in the methodist church and give this word of prophecy to them you ever done that You ever stood up in a babish church Full of several thousand people and given a word of prophecy that they didn't want to hear or a methodist church Or the assembly of god church Yeah, i've gotten the left foot of fellowship from almost every denomination. I ever been in You know why what's amazing is? You speak the word of god and you live it and you do the will of god and you say what he tells you to say And you do what he tells you to do and that house of mica will hate you. They will run you off You have to compromise to get along with them You have to compromise to keep sitting there And don't start reading your bible See, this is what i'm telling you. This is why the roman catholic church Stop people from reading the bible. It's like you can't read the bible They made you know, they made it against the law to read the bible For centuries. It was against the law to read the bible You know what because you've ever started reading the bible just actually say i'm gonna read the bible See what it says Not what my pastor says down with the denomination says You're going to have an awakening
And you're going to realize wow What this book says and what my church says? Don't match Now here it matches And there's a few points. I remember david wilkerson used his time square church Boy, you want to talk about preaching the word of god. He preached the word of god He's dead and gone now Leonard ravenhill used to do it. He's dead and gone now. Keith green used to do it. He's dead and gone now It's time for us To take up their baton And be the real christians and the real preachers of righteousness in this last hour And to stop funding the house of mica Stop funding that thing Amazing if we cut off its funds See if you read the rest of the story, here's what happened to mica The tribe of dan came in 600 men going to they're about to go to a war and they stopped by mica's house and they said hmm That's a mighty pretty idol of silver you have there And little gods of silver And you got a levi for our priest Huh? We're taking everything And they took it all and mica comes out to protest and said they basically told him you want to die today Go home. Shut up And they took his priest and they took his idols his gods But basically they took all his money and see here here's the moral of the story If this is the kind of thing you're trying to set up a house of idolatry and a house that has Money for an idol at some point the lord is going to bring judgment upon it And that's what? First peter four says judgment must first begin at the house of god and if it first begins at us What will the end be of them that do not obey the gospel? You do not want to be in the house of mica When judgment comes and it's interesting that the tribe of dan the word there means dan means judge God is my judge Yeah judgment came to mica's house And it's going to come These churches that don't preach The gospel they don't call people to repentance They don't call people to do the will of god and take up their cross and follow they're all about money They're all about this game. They play this game. They give you enough christianity to make you think you're getting it, but you're not They're gonna the people are they're gonna most of them are going to be working for fema when the bad stuff goes down The pastor is going to be encouraging you to submit to the government take the mark They will they will use romans 13 and tell you to submit to the government take the mark of the beast and and and
Let's just stay peaceful Let's not resist this thing In fact, they're going to I can prophesy to you right now. I tell you now These big churches will have lines of people they will they will have the government in there Given out the mark of the beast from the church you just get ready for it and The ones that are in those churches will hate you And this is another thing you need to realize The persecution in the days ahead a great portion of it's going to come from other christians that live in the house of mica And when I say persecution i'm not just talking about oh, I don't like you. No, it's going to get nasty Like calling the authorities. Hey, I got this family next door They won't get the they won't get the vaccine and they won't go get your mark and they won't cooperate with you I think you need to come check them out. I think they have guns I think I think they have non-gmo food, too You got to come get their weird, man Oh, they're good. Why does it say what did jesus say? They're good. Many are going to betray one another Oh You can only betray someone that you've had a relationship with You hear me? It will be christians turning other christians in To the government to the new world order system Mark it down I mean Jeffrey you told me you start talking some of this truth. It's just in the bible Just just bible stuff to some of these christians And they start losing their minds and getting mad at you, right? You told me this other day I didn't I mean just quote the scriptures And they start getting mad and upset now. This is christians I thought it was some of these that go to the highlands up there in birmingham area. Yeah, I don't care I'll tell you and you just start giving them some scriptures and they start getting mad at you You're like wait a minute. Aren't you a christian? Don't you believe the bible? Don't you read the bible? Why is why is this scripture bothering you? Oh, that's right. They don't they don't preach this one where you go to church Because it would upset you people that are lukewarm Oh, that's right. They don't talk about this Oh, that's right You don't know anything about this because you went from the baptist church or the methodist church to the community center church or the New life. Well, they all got these names. I don't these are i'm just making these up Christ community church lord help us How many of those are in the country? It's like a factory
Assembly line, let's stamp them out. They all look the same sound the same most of them have the same names. Oh pastor dean Making me feel uncomfortable. Okay I'm, sorry. I name names Do me a favor. It's almost every other church too that wants to be like them. That's what's so bad their goal and desire is to be The big the big church in town. That should never be the goal amen Be led by the holy spirit Not money not the desire for money not the lack of money Be led by the holy spirit sometimes And this is what I love when when jesus came on the scene after he went to the baptism of john It says the spirit the holy spirit Drove him into the wilderness To be tempted of the devil And he fasted 40 days Sometimes the lord leads you into the wilderness to go through a season Of fasting and warfare and temptation So that you can come out on the other side when it when jesus came out of that It says he came out with the power of the holy spirit upon him And that's why the demons started crying out and miracles started happening and people started coming to him and saying you're the christ And giving their lives and saying you're the messiah i'm following you Because he came out with power on him This is what we've got to have christians with holy ghost power upon them But that only comes upon what did what did what did peter get in trouble for saying to the pharisees and sages
He got trouble for saying the holy spirit is given to those who obey him ouch He was telling the religious leaders. You don't have the holy spirit You don't have the anointing you don't have the power because you do not obey him You don't obey the word of god and you don't obey the leading of the holy spirit in your life That's why he is not with you And that's when they said they sought to kill them See when you look at some of these christians the holy spirit is not upon you or flowing through you or working through you because You have never repented of your sin. You've never surrendered to him You've never said i'm going to do the will of god no matter what it cost me I mean I got I had one of these these uh members from uh highlands we got in a little confrontation at a football game a few years ago because Jordan had passed out A biblical cosmology track to their daughter Well, jordan was just passed these kids were running around unsupervised everywhere at the top of this stadium And jordan was just handing them out and so this guy got all hot and bothered. So I walked over to say, okay. I told the dude said you need to calm down And he starts going I know who you are And I was like, okay, so, you know, this is why you have an issue So he said I know what you're about He said he should be handing those out to my daughter and I said well, you know if your daughter was not running around unsupervised She might not have got one of these Said be glad it wasn't a pedophile up here. It was just a guy handing out a flat earth track That's what I said to him Oh, he really got started going off on me and then and you know what I told him I said, you know what you need because he was manifesting. I mean he this guy was like he wanted to fight And I said, you know what your problem is you need deliverance I said oh, but that's right. You don't know what that is And then they said something else and I just remember pointing at him and said just go back to your mega church and learn Nothing Now this offended a family that was here because they loved the highlands And i'm not saying there's not some good people there. There's some good people there But i'm telling you the message that you don't get there is what's dangerous But I want to tell you that guy Hated us He hated me. He hated george. He wanted to fight I was willing to give him a shot at the title But I I I really was trying to calm down like dude. Do you see how you're acting? Take it down a notch. It's just a track about creation. What's if you don't agree that's fine You don't have to act like a you know what?
But this is the problem. They will hate you And notice remember jesus said this. He said there will become a time This is john 16. There'll come a time When they will kill you and think they're doing god a service And we think that's muslims Minion it's going to be christians It's going to be these these these little Graduates of the horror of rome That have taken on her spirit and her mentality They may not even know about roman catholic church But they're going to take on that same spirit because they refuse to let jesus be king and lord And religion is king and lord and religion will hate anybody who's truly Living for jesus on fire for him and doing his will that's where the hatred comes from There's going to be those who walk in the spirit and those who walk in the flesh And those who walk in the spirit are always persecuted by those who walk in the flesh always. It's a it's a spiritual law Let's stand. I didn't cheat y'all at all y'all got the full hour and a half That song we didn't do Rest on us. We're going to pray this And sing this song here again Is the song we didn't do at the end because I did one twice But again, it's about calling for the holy spirit. So Can we can we worship the lord for seven more minutes fire and grace church? All right seven more minutes Let this be your prayer to the lord that he will move upon you You will hear his voice. You will be led by his spirit and you will truly Always surrender to him Whatever his will is And some of you there's going to be a big change coming that he's going to call you to Come rest upon us fill us speak to us show us things to come lead us and guide us into all truth
Show us your will lord paul always prayed for the churches that they would be filled with the knowledge of your will God we pray that you would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation Though we know the hope of your calling the plan You have for our individual lives reveal it lord Move upon your people to seek you to seek your face until they hear your voice And know your will In every situation that they would surrender To your will to your plan And that they would have the faith the courage the boldness To step forward and do what you've called them to do That's about following you The sons and daughters of god are led by the spirit of god. We yield to you. We submit to you we We choose to say yes and follow you wherever you lead us I pray that for my brothers and sisters here today those watching and listening those who will watch and listen we pray this in jesus Amen. Amen. Let me share this with you real quick So share with everybody out there. This is one of the just give you an example you know, uh I've been praying i've been praying about what the lord wanted us to do, you know with this whole Buying land and building a building i've never wanted to do it. Never wanted to do it. I still don't want to do it But I knew the lord just kept Saying I want you to buy this land. I knew I knew how much he wanted me to spend I knew That needed that it was supposed to be closer to my house and and again, the lord helped us find we looked for over a year And finally we bought that land and now and then i'm looking and of course I think we've had about 160,000 on top of that come in toward the building specifically Not even close to what it's going to take to build a building I mean even the modest building that we're going to build not even not bigger than 7,500 square feet we're looking at but when you you know every everything because of biden inflation is Everything's expensive But what's interesting and I just want to tell you this the lord Just laid a mark because I said lord, what do you want us to do? I mean i'm willing to wait I'm not in a hurry. I'm like you want us to wait and Do you want this type of building? Well tantwood just kept praying and But I just want to tell you the peace of god came down upon us and the lord gave us peace about a building plan And how we're going to go about it and the lord told me He said you just start you step out and i'll take care of it That's what he does to me all the time Is it all there to do it? No Am I am I saying this to try to milk more at it? No, not at all because i'm just letting you know
This is the lord moving me once again fully out of my comfort zone to do something that Looks to me right at the moment as impossible in But I know what he wants to do Now I don't know how I don't know how long it's going to take I do know this and i'm going to announce this We are going to have skyfall at the land if even if we don't have a building We will have it in a tent on the land that what is the weekend, babe? We're looking at october 23rd 24th weekend, whatever that is. That's what we're looking at tentatively Because auburn football game is out of town that weekend 25th 25th 26th weekend. So Everybody's been asking so that's why again i'm letting you know no matter what we have out there There will be a leveled off place and parking made And a tent set up if we have to And we will have skyfall 2024 so it's going to happen So be praying about all that I I Don't see that. I don't know if we can have a building done before then which whether we do or we don't doesn't matter but Um, but just be praying for skyfall. I believe god's gonna move in a powerful way and And i'm looking forward to it. So there's your answer everybody it's gonna happen so you can start making plans Even even soaring from denmark start making plans, bro All right. All right.
