So, I'm I'm the closer and I just want to just tell you this was not what I intended to share at all until yesterday. So, the Lord changed things, changed it up. And I could be just like everybody else. You stole my verses. You stole But it belongs to all of us. And I think the Lord is just wanting to just reiterate and drive it home. Drive it home. Drive it home. Drive it home. Kind of strange title, I know. Making it to supper. Uh, this is what the Lord wants me to close out with. What we're looking at is a different take on the on marriage, and that's the marriage supper. Revelation 196-9. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Hallelujah, for the Lord God omnipotent reignth. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Right, blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. and he saith unto me, these are the true sayings of God. Revelation 19:6-9. So the fine linens are the righteousness of the saints. And that's what we're called to to do is cleanse ourselves like Pastor Dean was talking about of all filthiness, you know, spiritually, physically, the works of the flesh, all of those things. Everything that's in God's word, we are to hear, read, do, practice, share. Um, that's how we become righteous. We just have to keep working at at cleaning ourselves up so that we make it to this supper, right? Who makes it to the supper? Who makes it there? Luke 14 16- 24. Then he said, and he is Jesus, unto him, a certain man made a great supper and bathed many, and sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, come. Do you notice he didn't say, "Please come if you're, you know, I'd love for you to come." It was a command. Come for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse. And that word there is to refuse or reject. All right? When you make excuses. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground and I must n go and see it. I pray thee have an

  2. 0:03:03

excuse. And another said, I have bought five yoga vats and I go to prove them. I pray thee have excused. And another said, I have married a wife and therefore I cannot come. a lot of excuses. So that servant came and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, "Go out quickly in the streets and lanes and city and bring hither the poor, the named the hall the blind." And the servant said, "Lord, it is done as thou has commanded." And yet there is room. And the Lord said unto the servant, "Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bi shall taste my supper." So who makes it? Was there anything wrong with buying oxen? Was there anything wrong with buying land? I mean, many of us in here, is it a sin to buy land? It wasn't a sin. And it's not a sin to to get married, right? What was the sin? What is sin? He didn't obey the command. Right? They didn't obey the command. So what is sin? If you go to 1 John 3:4, it says, "Whosoever committh sin transgresseth also the law. for sin is the transgression of the law. So it's it's not doing what God has said. If you're not doing what God has said, you're in sin. I mean, it's it's just so simple, you know, not not brain surgery here. Uh if you go to transgression of the law, that's lawlessness or iniquity. that Greek word anomia and theor's Greek dictionary says the condition of being without law because of ignorance of it or because of violating it. So not obeying the law because of ignorance or violating it just flat out not doing it. I'm not going to do it, you know, like I don't want to. Um I tell you this, after you've left here today, it's not going to be ignorance. because we've all heard what the Lord expects out of each one of us, husband, wife, or soon to be some someday to be husband or wife. Um, we've all heard it. So, it's not going to be out of ignorance that you don't do it. Vine's dictionary says that 1 John 3:4, which we just read, gives the real meaning of the word sin. And it goes on to say, "The definition of sin sets forth its essential character as the rejection of law or will of God and the

  3. 0:06:06

substitution of the will of self." That's what it boils down to. And it's been said before today, you know, during the day, it's you can't be selfish. If you're going to be married, you it can't be about you. Can't be about self. So the sin is the characteristic of it is rejection of God's law, his commands, his will for your life, for your marriage. He his will for your marriage is in his word. He gives us the instructions. He tells us what to do. When we're in sin, it's because we're substituting our own self-will. What we want, what we feel, what we think, right? For us conspiracy theorists in here, does that remind you the substitution of the will of self? Does that bring anything up to mind? Familiar? Do what the will shall be. The hold of the law, Alistister. He was working for the devil. Are you working for the devil in your marriage? Are you are you leaning towards God's side or the devil's side? Are you doing your own will or God's will? It's your choice. You have free will, but are you going to make it to the supper? We hear this in the end times that word that same word anomia for the lawlessness and the um iniquity it produces what in the end times and because iniquity shall abound the love and that's agape. So that's the God, the Christian, the one that we're supposed to have because we have God. God is love, the agape love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure until the end, unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:12 and 13. So you're going to have to endure. You're going to have to do God's word because if not, you're in iniquity. I mean, it's just that simple. So what does God's word say to do? Galatians 5:24 says, "And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with with the affections and lust." Now affections, if you look that up, it it one of the definitions it says emotions or influence that leads to sin. So you are supposed to crucify your own flesh, your own desires, your own affections, your own emotions, the things that are going to lead you to iniquity, anomia, right? Away from what God's word is saying into your own will. You were to crucify that. You were supposed to do away with it. It doesn't exist anymore. If you're living for Jesus, if it re rears its ugly head, you crucify it again. It's like that whack-a-ole game. If it pops up, whack it, right? You just

  4. 0:09:06

get rid of it. You stop it. Um John 14:15 said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." That's really simple. I mean, it is basic, not hard to do. If you love me, keep my commandments. How do you keep his commandments? You have to know them, right? If we sum this up, these two verses, get over yourself and obey, right? And that's what I say as we go forth from today in your marriage. Get over yourself and obey God's word. If you haven't spent time studying what God's word said, these scriptures that have been presented over and over and over that the Lord has wanted you to hear over and over and over because it takes repetition to get it in our minds and hearts. If you haven't studied them and you're in a marriage, that's messed up. It's what you do for a living. Like that's what you do for a living. You're married. Yeah. You need to know your your trades, what you're you know what you're in. And you need to know what God is telling you to do. So I felt like the Lord didn't want me to stay on, you know, a whole lot of things like just go through the scripture. What does it say? This says, "For this cause shall a man leave father, mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they too shall be one flesh." If you are one flesh, what are you doing attacking yourself? Come on. That's right. Are you building yourself up, you and your spouse together as one flesh, or you're ripping your flesh apart? Right? Are you trying to live a separate life, totally separate from your one flesh? That doesn't work. Picture that one. I mean, ripping your flesh apart to go out to the club or out to do whatever or to just to do your own thing. Says, um, wherefore there are, uh, no more to no more twain or two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put us under. Matthew 19:5-6. So we're we're just going to run through some scriptures. And this is what you were responsible for after you leave here today. You were responsible before that, but in that scripture where it says, "What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put us under," a sunder means to place room between. Don't let anything place room between you and your spouse. Nothing. Not a church group, not parents, not children. This is a big one. Children. You and your spouse are the first relationship in the family besides God. Right? Your children do not put
