Preached immediately after the July 2024 attempt on Donald Trump’s life, this message presents Dean Odle’s belief that God raised Trump as a flawed instrument to restrain evil and give the United States further mercy. Odle recounts prophetic impressions from 2016 onward, compares God’s choices of Cyrus and David, discusses presidential security, foreign policy, political office, and personal dreams, and distinguishes support for an instrument from worship of a politician; those prophetic and political claims remain the speaker’s interpretations.

Prayer asks for genuine discernment in a chaotic world before Odle addresses the previous day’s attempt on Donald Trump’s life. He recalls his prophetic calling and says he will distinguish what he believes the Holy Spirit told him from partisan enthusiasm.
Odle reviews his initial dislike of the 2016 candidates and the word he says identified Trump before he supported him. Cyrus, a pagan king used to release God’s people, becomes the model for a ruler whom God may appoint without endorsing his character or making him a savior.
First Samuel 16 shows God choosing David by the heart and future purpose rather than outward appearance or family expectation. Odle then says America will suffer judgment but not immediate total destruction, because severe conditions will produce repentance, prayer, instruction, and many conversions.
Biblical judges and deliverers support his claim that God works through human authority and that wicked rule has concrete economic and social costs. Recalling security at an earlier Trump visit in Alabama, he contrasts extensive protective procedures with vulnerabilities visible at the Pennsylvania rally.
Odle argues that an armed man should never have reached a nearby roof and treats the security failure as grave, while rejecting claims that every public event is staged. He then cites Trump’s intervention concerning Russia, Syria, and ISIS and reads Psalm 75 to teach that promotion and judgment ultimately come from God.
A testimony about praying for an alcoholic who had long rebelled illustrates mercy given to someone who did not deserve divine intervention. Odle applies the lesson nationally and rejects blanket cynicism about all leaders, arguing that Christians may enter politics and oppose evil without pretending any candidate is righteous.
Pastor Troy Towns’ service in Republican leadership is offered as an example of a Christian entering public life. Odle repeats his belief that Trump has a providential role, but says that citizens must still pray, vote, confront corruption, and ask God to turn rulers’ hearts.
Bonhoeffer and the Black Robe Regiment illustrate ministers who opposed tyranny rather than remaining silent. Contemporary Christian candidates and Odle’s own Alabama gubernatorial run support his appeal to speak on abortion, mandates, trafficking, and government wrongdoing even when defeat, censorship, or personal cost seems certain.
The parable of the talents becomes a warning to Christians who confront nothing and hide their influence while evil advances. Odle recounts a family dream involving private access to Trump and Melania, treating it as encouragement to pray for a future opportunity to witness.
The closing prayer confesses America’s sins, pleads Jesus’ blood over Trump, and asks God to use believers as light in the world. Odle explicitly denies worshiping Trump, calls him an instrument, and asks for courage to oppose evil while leading people to Jesus before concluding with announcements.

Go ahead and give him praise this morning Thank you, Jesus Lord, we look to you You are our God and our Savior We look to no man We don't worship any man We only lift up the Almighty God God in the flesh The Lord Jesus But, Lord, we know, God, you work through men and women And you move and you do things in the earth through people Lord, we pray today that your kingdom come Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven Lord, for America Lord, for our people here Lord, and across the world We have people watching and listening all over the world And we pray for a move of the Holy Spirit for revival And we do pray, God, for our leaders And those that are in authority That we may lead a quiet and peaceable life In all godliness, as you said in your word, to do And, Lord, I pray that you give us real discernment And people think they have discernment Because they watch a bunch of videos And then there's Holy Spirit given discernment And I pray that that would be given today And I pray that people would have ears to hear And hearts to understand And, Lord, we just pray again Holy Spirit, speak Speak to my heart Lead me and guide me into all truth Show me things to come Pull back the veil Don't let me judge just by what I see But what you are saying We pray this today in Jesus' name And everybody said, Amen You may be seated this morning Welcome, everybody The Fire and Grace Church You welcome those watching and listening All over the world Um, quite a crazy, crazy world we're living in What's crazier is social media You know, back in the old days In the late 80s and in the 90s They didn't have to deal with this insanity Right? Um, of course, there's good parts to it And there's bad parts to it Um, but I guess everybody should know by now What happened yesterday Right? Ah, there's a bunch of people saying it was staged It was a hoax Trump's evil Trump's part of the plan I'm gonna give you this morning again I've said this many times But I'm gonna repeat myself And I'm gonna thin out my social media friends For sure I've already started the process I was getting at my 5,000 limit On my personal page So I'm making room for some new folks Alright? Um, let me just go on and tell you right now Your opinion means nothing

Opinions are everywhere And then there is And as I prayed a minute ago There's people that think discernment And I've said this many times They think discernment is like Detective investigations That that's discernment Like you think you know something Because you watched a bunch of YouTube videos Let me just go on and tell you right now That the truth is only found Number one, in the Word of God And what the Holy Spirit Reveals and speaks to you Then if you see that in the world Then you can trust it Other than that Most of everything you see is deception I agree But here's the deal And this is why Really all of God's people And I believe this All of God's people Should hear his voice Jesus said, my sheep Will hear my voice And they will follow me Right? John 10, 27 Y'all can put that up there if you want to I've talked about this many times But God has called in the body of Christ Certain people And I'm not ashamed to say I'm one of them To the fivefold ministry And one of the parts of the fivefold ministry God called me to when I was 19 years old Is that of a prophet And when he called me to this ministry of a prophet He told me, you're going to say what I tell you to say And I don't And he was like, don't let people's faces Or their attitudes or their mouths Determine what you say and you don't say Basically he said, don't be afraid of their faces And boy, I see some faces sometimes Manifested Right? But I'm not in the ministry To be a people pleaser Or to win a popularity contest Alright? Never have been, never will be So I'm going to tell you what the Holy Spirit said to me Eight years ago And guess what? He hasn't changed his mind Alright? Now, you can disagree You can get mad You can take your ball and go home I don't care Alright? In fact, if you're going to keep going down this road Some of you are going down You can unfriend me now and move on Go find ministers that make you happy I don't care I really don't care Because I'm not here to agree with the crowd Whether it's the crazy, extreme, gopher truthers That everything is a hoax Down this road

Or the ones down this road And this ditch over here That think, you know, everything the media says is true There's a ditch on both sides of this Okay? How do you stay in the middle of the road? You listen to the Holy Spirit Now, all I can do is tell you what the Lord's told me And what he's told me to tell you As a minister of the gospel, as a prophet And a teacher and a pastor What he's told me to tell you Take it or leave it I don't care I don't care All right? Now, you can put up prophecy quake pictures I sent you I went back and re-listened to this This is when we were doing our podcast radio show back, you know, for I think we started it in 2013-ish 2014, I don't know, somewhere in that area And did it really through about 2020 Maybe did some in 2021 And tell the Lord had me run for governor Which now people think I'm evil Because I ran for governor of Alabama I'm going to address that in a minute, too But this was, as you see, a prophetic revelation Trump crews in the future of America You can go listen to this You can go to blog talk radio Type in prophecy quake with Dean Odell And you can scroll through the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of episodes And you can get to this one that was eight years ago And you can listen to it And really, you can listen to the whole thing Starting at about 30 minutes into about 50 minutes Is when I get into the real meat of this But this is what happened in January of 2016 Now, I say this because I've had a handful of times Like in my life Where I can tell you Without any doubt, without any reservation That the Holy Spirit came upon me And moved upon me and spoke to me Either gave me a vision or a prophetic word And I can tell you I know like I know That I know in my knower Like I know my name That he moved upon me And revealed something to me And spoke to me Now, in 2016 Through all my study and research And all my dealings with both Politicians, the Republican Party The Democrat Party All of that stuff I had gotten to the point where I was sick of both sides I was sick of the whole show I knew both sides from the Bush family The Clintons, the Obamas I mean, they knew they all were Satanic, Satan worshiping, Illuminati
