Glorify your name through your people or glorify your name through your word God through the truth through everything that you have provided for us through the blood of Jesus Lord salvation forgiveness of sins healing deliverance from demons Everything you provided for us Lord help us to walk in it to receive it by faith to experience it Lord, we want Christianity in our life is real not not just a creed but Lord real a born-again experience a healing experience a deliverance experience Lord you promised if we would Obey you if we would keep your words that you would Manifest yourself to us and we know God that you reveal yourself to your people by your spirit Lord Jesus you died on that cross and rose from the dead to give us everything we need to live this life in godliness and holiness and obedience and Even when we fall down even when we fail You are there. You said if we confess our sins you are faithful and just forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all in righteousness All we have to do is repent and say Lord I sinned. I'm sorry. Forgive me. I don't do that anymore I come to you and ask for the cleansing washing of your precious blood that is eternal and powerful Because this is the blood of God manifested in the flesh We worship you today Jesus name we pray everybody say amen. Amen. You may be seated. Oh My the Lord I want to say this the Lord has provided folks The Lord has provided everything we need in fact, that's in in Peter 1st Peter where he said everything we need for life and godliness, right? now Sometimes we got to learn some things that we don't know Sometimes we got to be willing to step out What we have not walked in before See, that's the difference between real Christianity and what I'll call dead religious Christianity See real Christianity just says Lord just like like like Peter in the boat If that's you out there on that water Even though it's a storm and even it's a little scary out there And even though I've never seen anybody walk on water except I'm seeing this but I'm thinking it's a spirit But Jesus said to him, you know, come on out here and Peter got up and stepped over that that boat out of that boat And walked on the water. That's real Christianity when you step out of the boat But see that's the place where the miracles are. That's the place where the supernatural
Revelation of Jesus is and you got to have that there's that's why look like I said, I don't care how many atheist agnostics You name it try to talk me out of Jesus being real and the Bible being true. It's impossible You know why because I stepped out of the boat long time ago. I stepped out of the boat I've been walking with him in a real relationship hearing his voice seeing his miracles And you can never talk me out of it. There's no reasoning. There's no arguments you can bring. I've met him I know him I walk with him I am what the Bible calls a born-again Christian Filled with the Holy Spirit not perfect not sinless But not trying to live in sin not trying to indulge sin and trying My best to walk in the truth of God's Word sound doctrine And if you do those things the Lord promised and this is in fact, let's turn there. We're gonna start there we'll be in a lot of scripture this moment go to Go to John the gospel of John chapter 14 because this verse is just coming to me How important this is this morning as we get into this message? John 14 and of course all of John 14 is good And we're gonna go down. This is Jesus speaking to his disciples here and he says verse 21. Let's go down to verse 21 He said he that hath my commandments and keepeth them he it is that love is me and he that love is me shall be loved of my father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him and Judas sayeth unto him and this was not Judas Iscariot But Judas sayeth unto him Lord How is it that thou will manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world and Jesus answered and said unto him? If a man loved me, he will keep my words and my father will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode With him he that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings and the word which you hear is not mine But the father which sent me So the Lord is very clear here and what's interesting go back to verse 21 when it says He that hath my commandments and he that keepeth them those two verbs hath and keepeth are In the Greek present tense Greek or verbs which a present tense Greek verb means ongoing Continuous action that's taking place in the present So Jesus saying those who continue to walk with me obey me keep my words and let me tell you what that means Keep my words means to keep his word in Context to keep his word in sound biblical doctrine because we're gonna talk about that how important that is But the Christian must have two things we must have the Holy Spirit leading us and guiding us into all truth
Right and we must be willing to go there and the scriptures are vitally important how we see them how we understand them because there are many false brethren and False teachers and false prophets that are just I mean when when the Lord said many I Thought I knew what that meant over the last few years that has become So true and so real That it's almost wears me out having to deal with them all the time Because I find myself most of my time is having to deal with false brother and false teachers false prophets who are trying to teach And promote their false doctrine. We had one come in the last two weeks. I Just sent him out the door And told him not to come back and we're gonna I'm gonna show you some of the insanity He was trying to bring in here, but he came in as a sweet little brother Wanting to pray for people that were sick. Oh, he believed in healing and he oh He prophesied some things that were accurate and then come to find out He was here with some not just false doctrine, but extreme crazy false doctrine When I confronted him and said hey, we need to slow down You don't need to be laying hands on people yet. We don't know you enough. I need to get to know you a little better I kind of broke my rule a little bit, but I learned a lesson here again We got to learn the lesson that just because somebody claims to be a brother in Christ and because they seem to be sweet And even if they operate in a supernatural gift or revelation Does not mean that they are not a false brother or sister and this is why and how did I find out? Well, let me tell you I sent him a nice, you know, y'all think I mean sometimes But let me read. Let me read a nice little sweet email. I sent to him cuz I sent a nice sweet email Not email, but text message. Let me pull up. This is our For those of you that know little we'll just keep the first name Rob that came in here But here's what I sent him first. I said Rob. I Appreciate your heart wanting to do the will of God and for healing. That's what he was pretending to put out there to everybody I said, but we need to slow down a bit I said I have really broken my rule by allowing you to lay hands on our church members and pray that With for them before getting to know them better I see I let his little prophecy that he gave on a Wednesday night That was very accurate kind of disarmed me and I've kind of been distracted with some other things So here again, this is what I'm telling you. This is how deceitful some of these people can be But I said I said look, I'm not saying you're you're a bad person or an evil person But we're supposed to know those who labor among us, right? I Said and we don't know you well enough yet And me allowing this when I have always been more careful has not been a good example to our flock So please no more laying hands on our church members until we have had more time to get to know you and also that you
And I make sure that we are on the same page on things Well sure enough when I confront about when I basically said you're done Doing anything around here until I know what you believe more about and it's all I know more about you I was being as nice as I could about you see pastor Dean can be very sweet and patient And so y'all know, right? That was very strange and it had two links and It was links to his To his YouTube channel that I'm not giving out I'm sure some people will try to find it, but it's just full of heresy full of false teaching But basically his two false doctrines that he believes and wanted to promote basically, you want to get in and win our trust and and get in the midst of us and Then he wanted to start teaching you probably behind my back his false doctrines, which is what they always do They try to slide in and gain You know build relationships don't tell you up front what they believe but build these relationships And get confidence in and then they start behind my back trying to teach a little group here and there about their little False doctrines and I'll have to say he the demons that he has of divination and the demon spirits I call seducing spirits in the spirit of air the Bible talks about seducing spirits in the spirit of air They are very very slick, but he is very good at Twisting the scriptures to mean what he wants them to me, but basically the two doctrines he came in with Let's put the picture up of his playlist Because I went through his Teach I listened to his teaching but this just tells you right here where he was that he does not believe that Hell is eternal punishment. It's funny that the Bible uses the term about hell as Eternal punishment, but we'll go there in a second maybe God willing, but as you see here's what he believes Endless punishment is not in the Bible and universal salvation explained. So basically what he believes is that No one's going to hell and if you go well, if you go to hell you end up getting out and get everything's okay, so Universal salvation that the damnation of hell and that's not his channel the total victory That's this is his playlist. I blocked out his channel if y'all want to go to this crazy people, that's up to you, but I'm just telling you this is the false doctrine. Now. The Bible is clear Matthew 25 These will go forth into eternal punishment if you get out of punishment in hell, is it eternal? No, the Bible uses the word eternal For eternal salvation and eternal life. It's the same Greek word. It means forever without in perpetual, right? That's the meaning of it. And in fact, of course revelation 14 says this about eternal punishment. Go ahead and go to
Revelation 14 9 and This is one of the sins that will definitely put you in eternal damnation about taking the mark of the beast which is coming very soon That's why I keep talking about it This isn't a third angel follow them saying with a loud voice if any man worshiped the beast in his image and receive His mark in his forehead or in his hand The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation And shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb How long how long should this happen? The smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest Day nor night who worshiped the beast in his image and whosoever received at the mark of his name. I Want you to understand this the doctrine of eternal damnation of eternal hell Eternal punishment Jesus taught this doctrine and the Apostles continued teaching this doctrine and this is a foundational doctrine of Jesus Christ the Apostles and the New Testament Church This is not a creation of Roman Catholicism or neither They actually perverted it creating purgatory and all this other nonsense Bottom line is this is a sound Biblical doctrine that's been established, but there are a lot of people including this Rob character Who are trying to they get into some of the Greek word definitions and and they begin to try to twist these things To make it sound like you get out. He's very on. He was very I listen to his little message He's very crafty at it, but I'm sorry eternal means Eternal right. There's no rest. They are not heaven and hell are eternal states of being See this is what a lot of people get death never means you cease to exist or you're annihilated No, death simply means separation when we die right now if we're born-again Christians washed in the blood of Jesus our sins are forgiven and we've walked walking faithful with the Lord and we died the Bible says To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord immediately Our spirit and soul goes to heaven our body goes into the grave and sleeps Until the resurrection and when the body is raised up and the spirit soul and body will be Reunite it and we'll be given an immortal incorruptible body at that point, but if you are not walking with Jesus Christ if you are walking in sin and rebellion and habitual indulgence in wickedness or Unbelief the Bible is clear that those on the left hand the goats There's the sheep and goats the sheep are the born-again Christians The goats are the ones who are not or who are not walking faithfully with the Lord. It says these will go into Eternal punishment in fact put up the last verses in Matthew 25 so everybody can see this Foundation this is Jesus teaching here Now, what does he say Matthew 25 then shall the kingdom of heaven be like an entity?
Well, no going down to verse well 14 do 14 verse We'll give that this he tells the kingdom the the parable of the man traveling into a far country who called his own servants now The context of this three servants five what five had the five talents two of the two then there was one The two the one that had the five it was faithful did what he was supposed to do the two Guy had two talents. He did what he's supposed to do the one that had one went in hid didn't do anything with his Lord's Money his provision and what happened? He said when the Lord came and reckoned with him He said take that wicked and slawful servant and cast him in outer darkness So should be weeping in national teeth now you go on he tells the parable of the sheep and the goats But go down to the end of verse of chapter 25 Keep on going all the way to the bottom there. Yeah right there. He says keep on going. There's a little bit more Keep going one more. All right Keep going. We're almost there. All right Keep going one more. All right. What do you say the goats? That's it last He said these shall go where away into ever lasting punishment But the righteous in the life eternal actually the word eternal here and the word everlasting same Greek word So everlasting life for the righteous and the only way you're righteous is to be in Jesus Christ You can't be righteous by good works Karma doesn't do it. You have to be in a relationship a born-again Relationship with Jesus walking with him according to his word and not your own ideas or doctrines, okay Everybody got that Eternal punishment and I could go through many more verses. That's not what this message is about I'm just showing you that you have to know the word of God because the moment I hear this come from him I got that we got another false teacher. We got another false brethren false Heretic among us, but it gets worse Then I Well, I didn't watch it. I was just I was too tired at the moment. My wife gets home We say let's watch the second one. Or hell is not eternal punishment and I thought that that should that's enough I mean, we don't really need to know anything else, but I happened to I was like I actually heard one That's more crazy than I've ever heard in my life And we have a video of it. There's other connecting issues you have to consider If fornication is the same now as in the law of Moses is described as described it Then that means that it's not fornication for a man to have another wife because it wasn't in the law of Moses and So you have to look at what God established over what culture says? so we can't be condemning men that that they have like a lot of you hear of a lot of the Pastors and the whole church is having affairs with their secretary, right? Well, technically in God's sight if the secretary was not married and the pastor Headed of course with her and that becomes his other wife and if you if you disagree with that you disagree with Acts chapter 17 which confirms that the law of Moses is still in effect and today for fornication To identify fornication. It seems good to the Holy Spirit So we can't sit here and just because we're not comfortable with something rejected when God accepts it. That's my point so Take that to the Holy Spiritual Bank And keep it in there because I'm not saying that we should go try to hit more wives over men. I'm just saying that we have to respect God's God's law and God's directed so Okay now Basically, so a married man as long as he's just having sexual relations with Women that are not married. That's fine. They just become his wives He's not committing adultery on his wife. So I guess a married man is not committing adultery if He can just go as many women as he wants I guess he'd be like Solomon have 700 wives and 300 concrete balance or maybe scratch that reverse it I can't remember how many it was now But see the reason that that I found this interesting because let's go to 2nd Peter chapter 2 verse 1 reason I find this interesting isn't it interesting that he's got a he's got a doctrine of no eternal punishment and Then he's also got a doctrine that allows him to have as many sexual partners as he wants I'm pretty sure if he started teaching this when he was married is why his wife took the children and ran away Okay, and she was right to do so. All right, but let's go to let's go to 2nd Peter chapter 2 verse 1 I'll show you something here and get the definition We got the definition of damnable and heresies here. I'm sorry But there's there were false prophets also among the people even as there shall be false teachers among you there shall be this Is a promise there shall be false teachers among you who privilege that means stealthy manner. They try to sneak in
damnable heresies Even denying the Lord that bought them and bring upon themselves with destruction and many look at this This is what's disturbing and many shall follow their pernicious or destructive ways By reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of see now They're saying the doctrine of eternal hell eternal punishment. Oh, that's just terrible. How could you teach that? That just turns people away. That's just too scary. God would never be like that See the problem with most of mankind the reason it's easy for you to be deceived is Psalm 50 God says this about he said you think you make the mistake you think that I'm like you see We have everybody all we have our own little standards of what's right and wrong Let me give you a little story about that. I'm preaching 2009 I'm preaching on Auburn University campus open-air preaching and I never once when I was open-air preaching and I still have the video I never once was talking to the unsaved. I Started out my whole message to the lukewarm the backslidden the Christians who think that they can live in fornication adultery homosexuality I went down to this I was talking to Christians who think they can live in sin and still go to heaven That was my message while I'm preaching out there. Well, I said the word homosexual so it You know it got spread around and before we knew it a professor and a whole gang of homosexuals came out to confront me This is great. I just love this stuff when it happens, right? So they come out and they start arguing and their argument was God is loved Jesus loves everybody and everybody's gonna go to heaven when they die and I said really I said So you believe that even Hitler is gonna go to heaven, you know, the one that tortured and gassed people and killed millions of people I said Mal Polpot I said you believe these people are gonna go to heaven. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Let me tell you what happened though I said, well, let me ask you another question. So you think these people gonna go to heaven But what about the guy down the road here? Who's molested little three and four and five-year-olds? Boy, let me tell you about half of them said oh, no, those people are going straight to hell I said, oh some of you do believe in hell. I said the problem with you This group of homosexuals. I said the problem with you is that you have your standard of righteousness Yeah, the pedophiles going to hell and he is if they didn't repent Truly repent But yes, the pedophile is going to but that's your standard. God says the homosexual the fornicator is the adulterer the liars The false teachers and false prophets. Just did a radio show last week on Eternal hell that was the question that was what we did I did a whole interview on this subject and I thought the timing was interesting But one of the things that I said during the interview I said the problem with with human beings with mankind is that we don't understand that in God's eyes our sins are crimes and That our sins will cause other people to stumble We are never an island to ourselves the studies have been done that even the most introverted person will Influence in a powerful way ten thousand people in their lifetime. That's an introvert. So those of you would like to talk Y'all are gonna influence way more than ten thousand people in your lifetime. So what what happens Jesus said this He said you're either gathering with me Or you're scattering abroad. I love what the great evangelist Charles Finney said about he said that everything you do and say Will causes these vibrations that go throughout all eternity This is why Jesus said that we will be judged not just by our deeds how we live He said but by every idle word that's come out of our mouths because our words and actions Influence others and we are either causing people to stumble and end up going to hell or we are causing people to at least See Jesus see the gospel see the Word of God in truth, and we are we are pushing them toward heaven You're doing one of the other with everything you do and say This is why your witness is so important and this is why You know in Ezekiel Ezekiel 3 Ezekiel 18 Ezekiel 30 33 the all those chapters in Ezekiel He warns again and again He says he says if I say to the righteous that the righteous sin not but if a righteous man turns from his righteousness And commits iniquity and I lay a stumbling block before him He shall die in his sin and then he says this because you have not given him warning And he says to the people the his people if you don't give them warning their blood is on your hands And let me tell you when you stand before the judgment seat of Christ to be judged for your life You do not want the blood of Innocence on your hands You don't want the blood of little ones that you've caused to stumble or anybody else on your hands You will not be hearing in or in good and faithful Survey when you've caused other people to stumble and end up in sin error and in going to hell You will go where you have tripped up and caused other people to go you said well pastor Dean I've made some terrible mistakes and I'm I've I've sinned I've fallen down. I back slid I became lukewarm. I caused people to stumble. forgive me for the idle words that come out of my mouth that's caused hurt or cause people to stumble and ask God to Forgive you, but you better repent and start praying for pray for those people that you were a bad influence on But this is see this is serious business folks This is we're talking about heaven and hell for all eternity for us and for those that we influence Don't you love the term now? It's a big term into fluencers influencers. See here's the strong's definition. This is a strong's Greek dictionary And lexicon for the definition of the word heresies in this verse and really throughout the New Testament He says it's a choice a party a disunion heresy the word itself can mean sect, but it's not just that the Thayer's Let's go to the Thayer's Greek lexicon Gives you a little more depth here. And this is true because He says here that which says that which is chosen So a chosen course of thought and action hence one's chosen opinion or tenant What's a tenant that's your religious belief right or doctrinal belief? He says according to the context an opinion varying from the true exposition of the Christian faith heresy basically false teaching Having an opinion. I mean the people say Pastor Dean you don't let people have opinions. No, you have all you want Just make sure they're right Make sure they're biblical because I don't care about anything else and you shouldn't either is my opinion sound biblical doctrine does it pass the test because if you not your opinions if they Vary or get away from true solid Exposition of the Christian faith folks. We could not have a more principal foundational doctrine in the Christian faith then eternal damnation eternal punishment It's the most unpopular doctor. Well, why of course it will be nobody likes to hear that they could possibly spend eternity in Conscious torment and separation from God forever But this is the fact because like I said a minute ago death does not mean ceasing to exist it just means either you're going to be

It means you're going to be separated from what? corruption and Mortality because God gives you an eternal Incorruptible body and you live with him forever or you're gonna be separated From him and God is life and peace and joy And see, you know We we make a big deal out of this life because all we got all we in our minds all the concept most of the concept We have is this life, but this life even if you live to 80 or 90 years old The Bible says your life is but a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away Eternity is what's gonna matter Where you spend the next? tens and hundreds of thousands of years where you're going to be and You will either be with God Almighty the Lord Jesus Christ the Creator the Savior the Redeemer the Healer You're gonna be in his joy and in his peace and in his presence, which is amazing forevermore and He said the things have not even entered your mind that things that he's prepared for those that love him Meaning the things that he has for us They're not even in the Bible everything that he has for us in the future Or you spend eternity because you were selfish here and sold your birthright for a little pottage of sin You sold out. I think it was a What's his name? What's his name? The singer? Why is it gone for me said he he sold his soul and it was a crappy deal Why am I forgetting? Huh? Kanye Kanye got it. He said he sold his soul to the devil and it was a crappy deal Yeah you might get fame and fortune and all the the the Lusts fulfilled and drugs and alcohol and and end up in hell That's why Jesus said what is it profit a man if he if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul Don't lose your soul This is serious stuff. But these teachers they bring in these so so he's this is the definition of heresies to get off And actually the word because you have sect and you have getting off sound doctrine So basically these people do is they try to create little sex of people who believe their false doctrine That's what he was gonna do in here create a little sect cause disunion and Get people in false doctor. Now. Let's look at damnable. I In fact, I don't think I've ever looked up this word Because I was like I didn't remember this But the word when it says damnable heresy, so not just a heresy not just a false thing
But one that is damnable. Well, what does that mean? He says it means strong definition ruin or loss physical spiritual or eternal Destruction which consists of eternal misery in hell. This is the strong's let's put up the Thayer's Greek lexicon I give you multiple So here's the Thayer's and it says in particular the destruction which consists in the loss of eternal life eternal misery Perdition the lot of those excluded from the kingdom of God a man doomed to eternal misery like the Antichrist or Judas the traitor Pretty clear, right? And this is why we use multiple Greek and Hebrew lexicons because you get the full Understanding of the word now. I was asked an interesting question and Well, this is how do I put it? Well, I said, let's go to 1st. Timothy 4. Let's go there 1st. Timothy 4 But I want to do this before I answer the question. I had a great question the other day But 1st. Timothy chapter 4 and I read this a few weeks ago Paul's instruction to Timothy the pastor the young pastor really Timothy was a young apostle Because he was to oversee churches plant new churches. He was basically to take Paul's place when Paul Went to be with the Lord But he gives him a long list of things. I'm not gonna read all of chapter 4, but let's go down to verse 11 He said these things command and teach Notice it said command not asking people to do these things. It's a command He said let no man despise thy youth but be thou an example of the believers in word in Conversation, which that's the old English way of saying in your behavior in Charity or love in spirit in faith in purity. What is purity? He's talking about moral purity and doctrinal purity And he says neglect not the gift that is in thee which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of hands of the Presbyterian so don't neglect the supernatural power and gifts of the Holy Spirit which many churches do many pastors do Then he says meditate upon these things give thyself Holy or completely to them that thy profiting may appear to all take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine Continue in them for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee now Why did he pull up? Continue in the doctrine if doctrines not important now I said this a few weeks ago about that false prophet is Julie Green anybody that tells you Oh doctrine Don't worry about doctrine doctrine is not important boy. They boiled him in oil other things they did to him to try to kill him, but God just kept keeping him alive until He finally was released by the Emperor Domitian and was sent back and was allowed to go back to the church of Ephesus Which he pastored at the end of his life And that's when he you know, he discipled Polycarp Polycarp Irenaeus and they passed the baton just like Paul but passed the baton to Timothy But John writing here in toward the end of his life He said for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh This is a deceiver and an antichrist. So he was dealing with a certain particular false teaching of The Gnostics that said Jesus or God did not come in the flesh and this was a serious False doctrine, but he said look to yourselves that we lose not those things which we have wrought but that we receive a full reward Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God He that abideth in the doctrine or the teaching of Christ He hath both the father and the son if there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine receive him not into your House neither bid him Godspeed for him that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds So you're not to tolerate false doctrine, but he notice he says very clearly. Let's go back to that verse 9 there Whosoever transgresses that means to Sin against that means to commit a crime against transgression Willful right what he's talking about he that does that and does not abide in the doctrine or the teaching of Jesus Christ Says he does not have God So the person that denies eternal conscious torment that held that's the doctrine that Jesus taught me Luke 16 Matthew 25 is what Jesus clearly taught so if you deny that you do not have God and Nor are you to bless this person or help this person or wish them well? You're to cut them off You see there's these people like a lot of the Torah movement out there believes that they don't believe Jesus Christ is God in the
That he's the fullness of the Godhead bodily. They don't believe that that's a damnable heresy You get off into that error you can end up in hell for eternity separated from God for all eternity You think you can have multiple wives? And think it's not adultery and fornication Especially the new covenant is very clear husband of one wife Any man that wants two of them. I don't know What's wrong with him? Most men can't handle one Can't can't learn to to live with one according to the way the Bible says and then too And then you put two women in the same house with one man Lord have mercy There's a little bit of jealousy that goes on We know this from the Mormons and the people have come out of the Mormon Church No polygamy is not is not Permissible in the new covenant it is not and God didn't want them doing it in the old But he said you know and Paul said this about some things that that God just allowed and just didn't Didn't deal strongly with in the in the old covenant He said you know God winked at these times of this ignorance But he said now he commands every man everywhere to repent But he did say there's an Old Testament command to the Kings that they were not to multiply wives to themselves Yet David disobeyed this and you think about David sin with Bathsheba and David did have Several wives and you think about how his sin multiplied in his son you will see a generational curse David sin sexual sin and disobeying God to add a few wives to the to the picture Solomon took it to a whole new level and actually Solomon had so many wives and concubines many of them who were pagan godless wicked people and It says that his ungodly pagan wives turned his heart away from the Lord So this is why it's so important that you do things according to Scripture and according to the way God wants if not It can turn your heart away from God and you can be in serious Serious trouble on Judgment Day, but does everybody see that? Doctrine is an important issue the teaching in fact This this is why we go back to the scripture we started with what did Jesus say he that hath my words and Keepeth them. Well, how do I keep them? I don't let people come in and teach me something. That's false and then embrace that I Reject the faults and embrace What Jesus taught what his apostles taught what his prophets taught what the Word of God teaches? I embrace that And folks that is a requirement It's not a suggestion You better walk in the doctrines of Christ or you have departed from him
See he's the word in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and the word became Flesh and dwelt among us. Well the word he is the word You can't separate the living word Jesus Christ and the written word both both of those things the Holy Spirit is going to point you to and Lead you in to walk with Jesus in a living Relationship and to walk According to the scriptures. This is absolutely Absolutely essential now, let me answer this question and it's not even I mean it's not even 12 o'clock yet So y'all are getting off easy today, but let's answer this question. And this is a great question Why does God allow these people? Why don't he just? Zap them. Why doesn't he just keep them from? Coming that they didn't use the term zap You know why can't God just strike them? You know if he's got these false teachers these wolves in sheep's clothing these people who are deceived and let me just say this these false brethren these false brethren some of them are just deceived and They think they're doing the right thing Some of them are absolute intentional Okay, we've had both show up here Some or some are just deceived and but but the end result is the same It doesn't matter if there's a wolf teaching false doctrine that knows what they're doing or one that's just to see but they're doing the same Thing and the end result is the same So you have to deal with them the same way really? But the question was asked why does God not just deal with them and I'm gonna give you a couple of passages Let's go to first Corinthians Chapter 11 verse 19. This is a great question. I love when I get good questions And there's two reasons number one here. Listen, it says for there must Also, there must be rather also heresies among you that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. Oh So what's that talking about the Paul by the Holy Spirit said for there must be heresies among you That they which are approved may be made manifest among you. They didn't God says this has to happen. I basically have to allow this So that it becomes evident who's really walking with me and who's not and notice he says it's based on this Do they preach and teach heresy or do they preach and teach the truth of God's Word? Rightly dividing the word sound biblical doctrine or are they getting off that path?
It's real simple, but God says he's basically These things have to happen so that those who are approved are made manifest They're revealed now the Old Testament put it in a different way. Let's go to Deuteronomy But it's the same principle Deuteronomy chapter 13 Verses 1 through 5. Let's look at what God said here about faults Why he allows he tells you right here. Why does he allow false prophets and teachers? Here's what he says. Let's read it. This is Deuteronomy 13 verses 1 through 5 If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and give it the assign or a wonder and the sign or Wonder come to pass which he spake of Saying let us go after other gods which thou has not known and let us serve them Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams for the Lord your God proveth you To know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice and you shall serve him And cleave unto him and that prophet or that dreamer of dreams Shall be put to death because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God which brought you out of the land of Egypt and Redeemed you out of the house of bondage to thrust thee out of the way of the Lord Thy God the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in so shalt thou put away Put the evil away from the midst of thee now Here what I'm about to tell you he says a lot of us say well, you know these people They don't try to turn us to other gods. Yes, they do. Oh yes, they do because the moment they come in and They teach something contrary to what Jesus taught what he taught his apostles to teach Once they come in and do that they are turning you to another Jesus to another gospel to another spirit This is why we have to put them away. This is why we mark them and avoid them according to Romans 16 Mark and avoid this is why I don't tolerate it. I don't allow it to stay Once we find out once we know Once it's confirmed You don't tolerate it another second not another minute. You shouldn't you Bible says you're not supposed to eat with these people Pastor Dean that's mean that's harsh That's Bible See we may look at false teachers. Oh, they just don't know what they're doing. They're poor pitiful little things and God says They are ministers of death They are wicked. They are evil. They are trying to be they are rather a stumbling block
They're trying to lead people away from me and my word. They are evil. He doesn't play this game like we see again He says you and I'm not like you God has his own standards. He ain't playing games with this stuff. And that's why again, that's why I teach like this That's why you hear me again and again repeat the foundational doctrines of Christianity That Jesus Christ is God in the flesh lived a sinless life Born of the Virgin Mary lived a sinless life died on the cross willingly laying down his life Taking all of our sins in his body on the tree being being that atonement being the propitiation for our sins That he rose from the dead and that he is the only way to be forgiven of sins that he is the only way your spirit can Be regenerated renewed revived awakened again born again The only way you can enter into eternal life It has to be through the Jesus Christ of the Bible not the Jesus Christ of the world system or the false churches or the false doctrines You know, we just read that verse in 1st Corinthians 11, but go back in that same chapter Go back to verse 1. Let's read from there 1st Corinthians 11 verse 1 Just so you see where he said there's another Jesus there They'll preach another Jesus and they'll have another gospel and I've never seen a time and now with social media ticky-tock YouTube rumble Facebook You got all of this stuff out there I'm sorry. He says look here He says there are such are false apostles Deceitful workers transforming themselves into the Apostles of Christ and no Marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed transformed as The ministers of righteousness or like whose end shall be according to their works So he says there's false. There's gonna be false apostles Deceitful workers they transform themselves into the Apostles of Christ and he said don't be surprised Satan does this he transforms himself into the angel Of light therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed. We ought to have it Let's call this message transformers Because that's what they do They look that they're really one way they transform themselves to try to appear another way But notice if we go down a little bit. He says this Paul's being challenged by the Corinthians and he's defending himself verse 22. We'll just go there He says are they Hebrews? So am I are they Israelites? So am I are they the seat of Abraham? So am I are they ministers of Christ? I speak as a fool I am more in labors more abundant in stripes above measure in prisons more frequent in Death oft of the Jews five times receives die forty stripes save one thrice I was beaten with rods once I was stoned thrice I Suffered shipwreck a night and a day. I have been in the deep in journeys often in perils of waters in perils of robbers in perils by my own countrymen in perils by the heathen in perils in the city in perils in the wilderness in perils in the sea in perils among false brethren in Weariness and painfulness in watchings often in hunger and thirst in fastings often in cold and nakedness beside those things That are without that which cometh upon me daily the care of all the churches So Paul saying you know what I've been through You know what I've been through as an apostle and been pretty But notice he said in perils look at put up the word the definition of the word perils here
Danger it's this interesting. I'm gonna get to something. Let's go to the Thayer's of this word danger peril And notice he says here the source from which peril comes How how do false brethren cause dangers? to us See the problem is some of them are so slick Some of them know how to twist the scriptures so good They're not in danger of killing you physically. They're not in danger of hurting you most they're not trying most of time They're that would be obvious No, but they're trying to put your eternal Destiny where you will be for all eternity and that's where the danger is And Paul said these these false brethren put us in danger This is why we are not to tolerate we are not to bid them Godspeed We're not to invite them into our home. We're not to allow them to continue doing what they do Think about if the entire church world had this mentality if all pastors and leaders of churches had this idea I will not tolerate false brethren false teaching false doctrines Would not the church will be? Much different we would have a lot more strong solid Christians that are walking in the truth But the proof that they've tolerated you want to know the proof the evidence of false brethren and false doctrines and false teachers I'll tell you the proof. It's called denominations Because what are those? Christians that different believe different from these Christians over here and here's the thing Paul said to the Corinthians. He said I hear is you know first Corinthians. He said I hear there's these divisions among you He said you all should have the same mind the same judgment and speak the same things Why did but one book y'all? See we should all be in agreement about eternal hell and damnation why cuz it's plain in here It's not something we have to create and twist and Manufacture it's there. It's just says it eternal punishment these These this punishment torment that goes up day and night forever and ever they have no rest That's eternal. He talked about Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Jude Jude was Jesus's half-brother He said that the Sodom and Gomorrah he was talking about them it presently and that was thousands of years behind him And he said they are suffering the vengeance of eternal fire
eternal suffering for Unpleasant, but you know what? It's unpleasant Because you should not want to go there I know ACDC thinks they're gonna party in hell with all their buddies and friends. They will not be partying in hell. Y'all hear me Perils among false brethren go to 2nd Peter. This might be the last one 2nd Peter 2 was talking about the false teachers. Let's go to chapter 3 where he continues and he says this 2nd Peter chapter 3 and see now that it's after 12. Scriptures unto their own destruction You therefore beloved seeing that you know these things beware lest you also being led away with the error of the wicked Fall from your own steadfastness But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to him be glory both now and forever Amen, well, let's back up where he says these people take the scriptures and they twist them Now let's put it up the word rest. I love that when you read the last words of David and they give you here's what's important. Here's what I learned from life Second Peter is just that it's here's what's important church Here's somebody at walk with Jesus for three and a half years who messed up a few times Who denied the Lord and cursed and had to repent? Who preached the first sermon to the church then got to preach the first sermon to the Gentiles? Whose shadow healed the sick when he walked by? Well, I love sitting down one day in heaven talking to him Peter. Can we talk a minute? Sure. That's gonna see Just that right there alone. Let me see. I got through talking to Peter. Let me go find Paul. Where's Paul? I want to talk to him for a little while and you know what? There's no time limit because you got all the time you'll ever need Where's Abraham? Where's Enoch? Let me find out about eating. Where is he? Do you know how much fun just that's gonna be? But think about sitting down. You'll get to sit down with Jesus But the eyes of flame of fire Will tell y'all something. I've been in his presence sometimes
It's so strong that I've had to tell him to ease up because I can't my body just can't handle it That's why you gotta get a new body Because you got to get a new body Not just so it'll live for eternity so it can handle the presence of God without any Limit to it. This is why we got to get a body that's like Jesus body because we got to be able to handle Being with him in fullness. Somebody say fullness You want to be with the devil in fullness or with Jesus in fullness? I tell people all the time I say it I say it again. And again, you will end up in the place of the one you follow Keep following the devil and say I follow Jesus But if your actions say you following the devil guess where you gonna end up if you don't repent Say pastor Dean you want them hellfire brimstone preachers. Yes, cuz you know who I follow he was one Jesus talked about hell in the New Testament more than anybody else Why do you think Jesus? Talked about hell as much as he did because he didn't want any any of you to go there. Let me tell you You know, I don't get on the road drinking and driving number one because a drunker don't inherit the kingdom of God, right? But I've told you all the story of the person I led to the Lord In Montgomery on the street like the day before she was gonna go off to college Sandy and the Lord told me to go out and talk. There's a big group of young people out there You know, they were in the late teens early 20s and they were on skateboards and they were just I mean There's about 15 20 of them and I had a Bible study. I had 40 people at my house every Friday night they're in Montgomery back in the early 90s and Everybody had just arrived I'm the one teaching the Bible study and I walked to the door to let the last person in and I look and I see These kids all these kids out there and they on my next-door neighbor's house and the Lord tells me go To your car get your gospel tracks and go sit down and talk to all of them. I said Lord I got all these people here. I'm supposed to teach a Bible study. He said they'll figure it out I didn't even tell anybody I walked to my car got my gospel tracks and I went out there and talked to all those young people Well, little did I know that's that several of them were gonna die in a fire just a few weeks later That's why you obey the Lord number one but number two I did pray with a girl who was just in tears and she gave her life to Jesus and You know, we had contact after that and tried to disciple her and get her in some good Discipleship stuff and then she actually went to the University of Montebello at the time and it was just a little while after that That I was working with the college campus ministry
And we were starting campus ministries all over the country and we went to Montebello to start one And so we were having services there. We'd have it every Thursday night We'd go and have a meeting in one of the classrooms. We are a group on campus And she would come she would come and we during praise and worship and she would just be on fire Well, you know, we we moved on and I did and had to go to Boston and Philadelphia and all that I had to do work up there and Anyway some years past I Come back from all that 95 God has me start a church in Montgomery and I'm pastoring that then, you know While I'm pastoring that church God wants me to go preach in Tuttweiler prison and I went used to go down and preach in Ventress and and different prisons around and I Went to Tuttweiler and Tuttweiler. That's the women's prison. The only women's prison in Alabama up in Whittemka and Man, they had a chapel seat about 150 and mother men They would pack that thing out some of those services in that in Tuttweiler prison some of the most powerful Anointed times of ministry I've ever been in in fact this particular night I'm preaching to them just people are weeping the presence of God is so strong I give an altar call all kind of people come forward Ladies give their lives to Jesus and of course because it's women the assistant chaplain Lady she would walk with me when I'm praying for people just make sure, you know You just protect yourself and nobody say you touch somebody inappropriately or whatever So I'm just praying for people laying hands on their head real I don't push people I just touch them pray for them and we're going down and people are hitting the floor the presence of God Is so strong that particular night that the assistant chaplain just said she said I got to go sit down I can't stand up any longer. That's how strong And I noticed this young lady short hair sitting up on in the front just You know as we say in the south snot and she was crying something Just right and I'm like I'm looking at her and like what's going on with her and I walk over and I pray for her And she looks up at me. She said you don't remember me. Do you this has been about four or five years of past And she said I'm it's sandy. I'm like Why what are you doing here? She said well, I didn't keep walking with Jesus. I Started drinking and partying with my friends in college And I was drinking and very drunk one night and I hit somebody and killed him And she said I woke up. She was in a coma. She was in the hospital for three or four months and think about this You're in the hospital for three or four months I mean you're in a coma and you wake up and realize that you are half handcuffs on you that you're headed to prison To jail and she went to jail and I think her sentence was I don't know it was longer than four years
I don't know what she got for For that but she would she had been in there four years And she's tears running down her face and she's crying and she's saying I wish I'd listened to you And see this is what I'm talking about This it in the game you think oh, it can't happen to me. I'm sure she thought it can't happen to me But it did it forever changed her life think about the family that it forever changed Sin the wages of sin is death Wages if you're gonna live in wickedness and evil and rebellion to God You're not gonna walk according to his word and it doesn't matter if you've been born again or not You choose either to keep walking with him or you choose to live a lukewarm rebellious backslidden sinful life But the bottom line is is that there's wages that have to be paid and that your life is going to affect all these people How you live and what you teach? What you say and that's why I'm just telling you again This is not a game. It's for all the marbles It's for all eternity and I remember one of the first things I heard when I came back to Jesus at 19 I heard an old preacher say this he said eternity is too long To be wrong You better get it right now Leonard Ravenhill one of our greatest prophets said that this life is a dressing room for eternity is all it is and you're either Gonna put on the Lord Jesus Christ or you're gonna put on the world's garments the devil's garments You're gonna put on one of the two But I broke up with the devil and gave him back his jacket and his ring and everything else I broke up with him and I gave him back his stuff and I moved out of the devil's house and I moved into Jesus house and I'm choosing to continue to live in Jesus house. I accept his rules the rules of the house Amen Y'all know if you kids move in your house, I hope so you like this. They gonna keep your rules Mine move in they will keep my rules or they will go to the street. They know that too My house my rules Jesus has his house and he has his rules Amen Amen, or old me, right? Eternity is too long to be wrong, but see these false brethren They're dangerous and this is why you must know the Bible for yourself because look if you know Let's just take this example. If you know the Bible says these go into eternal punishment These have no rest day or night if you know and understand the doctrine of
Eternal damnation and eternal punishment and somebody comes along said no, no, no, no. No, that's not the way it is. It's really this way you go heretic Marked Avoid it as a pastor. I don't just mark them and avoid them I have to set them out the door make sure they don't come back and then I have to warn you about And this is why we need to pray for each other and this is why I ask you guys to please pray for me Because they're gonna keep coming See the devil he's he's he's not after the ones he has already. He got them He's after the people trying to live an Obedient holy doctrinally sound life You know and I was gonna read Ephesians 5, you know, we just read it We just had a wedding the other day. We've got another one coming up Ephesians 5 talks about Christ and the church about the bride and the bridegroom and it says that he cleanses the church Listen this by the washing of the water of his word You better live and breathe and be washed by this word Are you gonna end up lost deceived? You say pastor Dean? Why you preach like this? Why you teach like this? Because when I stand before him None of you sitting here today. None of you listening today None of your bloods gonna be on my hands. I will be able to say I told him Lord. I told him I told him I told him I told him I did what you told me to do. I wasn't perfect I wasn't sinless but I tried to tell him the whole truth and nothing but the truth and I make a lot of Christians mad because they love the false doctrines and false brother. They love it They just eat it up and I get a get mad at me. They think I mean No, I just don't like damnable heresies That can lead people astray and lead people to hell. I'm not going to allow it Not ever never never never never if you ever see me doing it Like just teaching something they have killed me and it's a clone Understand and I don't put them past them to try to do that. And you know, sometimes we have to admit When somebody corrects us and shows us something that we've believed is not right It's not biblically sound We got to go. I was wrong It's okay It's better to figure out you are wrong about something now and repent and deal with it and try and fix it Then to just be stubborn and prideful and say I'm gonna stay with what I got You got to be willing to go. You know what if I'm in error if I'm in sin if I'm in rebellion In fact, the Bible even says Jesus said as many as I love I rebuke and chasing Be zealous therefore and repent. That's what he said to the lukewarm Church So see a lot of people think my wife would tell you my daughter I love y'all. I love people I want everybody that I meet that I talked to that maybe I never meet that I hear me preach. I Want every single person? To know Jesus as their Lord and Savior to go to heaven to rule and reign with him in the earthly kingdom that's coming. I Want everyone to experience forgiveness and peace and joy and and and find eternal life I even my enemies I want that for them So as Paul said he said I do these things cuz I love you Not cuz I hate anybody. I don't hate anybody. I don't want anybody to go to an eternal hell. No one But that Jesus said unless you repent you will perish and perish doesn't mean cease to exist It means you're going to suffer the vengeance of eternal fire You're going to live in eternal death, which is separation from God who is eternal life That's what it's all about So if they want to call me a hellfire brimstone preach it so be it if I want to say pastor Dean you just mean Okay, but I want you to make I want I want us all to be there at the marriage supper of the lamb I want you to walk up to me and have one day and say I made it pastor Dean. Thank you for praying for me Thank you for correcting me when I was heading off from the wrong road Here's what's beautiful if we're faithful to preach the truth and speak the truth and live it We're gonna have people come up to us that we didn't even know That we're watching us and came to Jesus because of some seeds we planted in them They're gonna say you didn't even know me But I saw your life I heard what you said it planted the seed of truth of God's Word in me And I and I gave my life to the Lord. That's why I'm here today
Let me tell you there's nothing that's gonna be more joyful to you apart from just seeing and being with Jesus To turn around and see the people who are there because of what you did and what you said and because they watched your life and heard your words Nothing's gonna be more beautiful than that Apart from Jesus himself. Amen Let's pray father. We just thank you We thank you and we praise you and we exalt you God. I ask you to bless your people with truth today keep them from the false brethren and the false doctrines that try to Privately sneak in or we pray that you'll give us discernment and wisdom But truly Lord, even if we have no spiritual discernment from your spirit, we should know the doctrines The sound doctrines of the new covenant and recognize when there's false ones being put forth I pray that for all my brothers and sisters. I pray that everyone that hears this message Will come to the truth and the knowledge of Jesus Christ and repent if they need to repent Get off the path of error false doctrine and get on the path of truth I want everyone that I that has heard this message or that watches I want every single one of them to be saved and make it to heaven Lord, but I know they won't not everyone will But that's what I pray Lord. You touch them convict them speak to them Let the fear of the Lord be in their hearts to depart from him to know There is a judgment day and there is a heaven and there is a hell. The name of Jesus and Lord we do pray Lord everyone that needs healing Lord those watching and listening right now. We pray for healing to flow in Jesus name Healing to flow and their bodies and their minds and their spirits and their hearts Lord, you even came to heal the broken-hearted and we pray for healing for that right now God forgive us where we have sinned and fallen short We get up and we say wash us clean in your blood wash us clean. Forgive us make us Clean purifies and we ask you to purify your church Lord The washing of water of your word by the fire and power of your Holy Spirit Confirm your word with signs following true signs and one in the mighty name of Jesus. We do not charge you can Go through the ministry school and not pay a dime and we're fine with that. In fact, we want you to so Name a ministry school that does that. I don't know of one there may be one out there, but I don't know of but We want you to go through it. It's not easy. I can tell you this much. It's not easy It is hard College-level work and you will have a lot to do And you can complete it in one year, but most do not do that some do but most have to take Two years to do it because they have to do part-time But anyway, just wanted you to know it's a good thing. You will get intense Teaching and It will help prepare you for the ministry or whatever God's called you to do so, but we only want people that know God is leading them to do it So pray about it and if you're gonna do it, you know, the Lord wants you to then don't wait to the last minute
We hate getting those that get in like they we pick them up in the mail on August 1st You know, I mean we deal with it, but it would be better if you got here before that All right, cuz classes start soon after all right.
