Well, um, Peter made a statement in second Peter, actually, I believe it's chapter 1, where he said, "Though I know you may be established in the present truth, it's my job to put you in remembrance of some things." And I could almost entitle this message back to basics cuz we've been, you know, I pondered on Enoch 5 part five. I worked on it more yesterday, but I'm just like I just couldn't get settled on it. And the Lord just kept telling me and after the week I had and after the week that our church had, I just decided, you know what? Um, obviously there's something else. And so as I prayed this morning, I just kept getting led to a very familiar passage of scripture, Ephesians chapter 6. And I have entitled this today the the resistance. And I still even though, you know, in the last few weeks we've talked about the fallen angels, we've talked about the demon spirits, we talked about the Nephilim, we've talked about all this stuff, but it almost seems like church-wise, the kind the spirit I'm feeling is just kind of la tiptoe through the tulips. And um I'm going to tell you right now, you're going to get your head beat in. You're going to get yourself deceived if you don't do what I'm going to tell you to do today because the forces of darkness, the powers of darkness are getting worse and worse. And we were told they would get worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Right? And one of the reasons I'm going to tell you right now, one of the reasons there is more spiritual warfare and demonic activity in the world is because there's less fighting and resistance from Christians. It's that simple. We are giving them place in the world.
Say, "Wait a minute, Pastor Dean. I thought they could do this and they could do that." Yeah, they they have permission from the Lord to do a certain degree of things, but then there's a whole lot of things that they do that they're not supposed to be doing. And they're doing them because we as Christians, as the true church of Jesus Christ, we allow them to do it. And we allow them first to do it in our minds and then in our homes and then with our children and then with everything else. And it's it starts there and then it spreads. It spreads to the community, then your whole city, then your nation, then the world. And what these powers are doing, and I believe this too. I believe the manifestations now, the UFO, UAP manifestations that are and have been clearly demonic, fallen angel activity. I believe we're seeing more of it, not because just because it's time. I believe it's because Christians, most Christians, do not fight them. We do not bind them anymore. We do not resist them anymore. As and I'm talking about the church as a whole. Spiritual warfare teaching actually really kicked in hard in the 80s and the 90s and it's like it's fallen off in a lot of churches. And even this is what sad thing is is it falls off in churches that teach it. I don't know why we get lazy and back away from what we know we're supposed to do and we let the devil beat our brains in. And we're not only dealing with demonic and fallen angel activity, but we're dealing with electronic fallen angel activity against our minds. Um, I'm going to tell you a little trick some of you better start doing and I need to start doing more consistently is sleeping with my phone and iPads in another part of the house cuz it's really weird some of the dreams that I'm having when those things are in the room and there's a lot of weird I'm just telling you there's a lot of weird stuff going on. But I want to read this again. Ephesians 6:12. We're going to do a little illustration. I might get Johnny to do it. Help me with that illustration today. I won't hurt you, Johnny. Says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Everybody see that?
Now, I remember back in the 80s and 90s when there was a lot of uh teaching on spiritual warfare, but it wasn't in the mainline churches. Uh even a lot of the Pentecostal churches kind of mocked and ridiculed people that uh got focused on spiritual warfare. Oh, you you looking for a demon behind every tree. And what I started teaching back then and explained, they're not behind trees, y'all. No, they're hanging out with you. They're on your shoulder. They're in your head. They're in your house. They're all around you. And that's what Come Come here, Johnny. I'm gonna show you. See? Uh I don't know if y'all don't know anything, but wrestling. Wrestling. Come here. Turn around here. Wrestling is not We're far away from each other, is it? Wrestling is We fighting right here, right? And I'll be talking trash to you. See, right now I'm going to choke you out, man. Right. All right. [laughter] Now, that's up close and personal. That's right. The demonic warfare against you is up close and personal and it's every day. Y'all need to understand that. You say, "Well, you might feel fine most days." But see, what you don't understand is some of the thoughts that are being planted in your head. subtle thoughts [snorts] that are being planted in your head that will lead your life. That will cause you to make a decision, a bad decision that will cause you to be severely depressed, discouraged, confused. full of anxiety, fear, lust, temptation. And sometimes it's just a little tiny little thought, little little seed, little image, a little memory from the past to make you sad or depressed about something or to make you feel guilty to bring condemnation to you over something that you repented over and the blood of Jesus is washed away. And sometimes, I'm going to tell you right now, sometimes the issue is unforgiveness in our hearts and we've been delivered to the tormentors because we don't forgive those who have done us wrong. So the Lord says, "Well, I have to let them torment you." And I just want to tell you right now, you don't want the tormentors, right? But he says, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood." It's not it's not always physical. We we even think some of the things that we are dealing with are just things in the natural, just things of the flesh, just things of people, you know. But what Satan is doing a lot of times, again, even even if we have an issue going on with a certain person, it's not even them. It's the demons
behind them, in them, around them, pushing them to mess with you. And I'm just going to tell you, I I went through this week, of course, and I'm going to talk about this today, too. Witchcraft, the power of witchcraft is real. Oh, I'm a Christian. It can't touch me. Oh, you better shut up with that stupid stuff. Because if you run around here like a liy die Christian, it's going to affect you. Okay? Because again, witchcraft is a very simple to define. Witchcraft, witches understand the power of words. Death and life's in the power of the tongue, right? It's what the Bible tells us. They know that. They understand that all their incantations, spells, rituals, all that is to focus words, the power of words that bring along spirits with them. The power of words to afflict or influence an enemy. That's what witchcraft is. And witchcraft, Satanists and witches have certain high days of the year. Uh, one of which is the the solstesses, the four solstesses, which we just had one June 21st. And I can tell you right at June 20th, and the week that has followed has been one of the heaviest spiritual warfare weeks I have ever felt toward me personally. I mean, it was all out. And it didn't break off. It didn't lift until I finally recognized what was fully going on and said, "That's it. I bind these demons right now of heaviness, oppression, witchcraft, sorcery. I bind these demons in Jesus' name. I command them to stop. I command them to go for me. I break the curses from these witches, their words, incantations, spells. I break them off of me in Jesus' name. I resist the devil in Jesus and I command these things to go from me to shut their mouths and go. I mean, and I had to spend a good season of prayer going through that before it lifted off. And I will say this, once it lifted off, once I fought that off, resisted it in Jesus name, and it fled from me, a very interesting thing happened, and I won't go into details, but a very interesting thing happened that's [snorts] in a relationship that's been weird in my life for a long time. And it was just weird that I it seemed like some of it got fixed yesterday. Okay. But I guess another thing I'm just I'm discouraged about or worried about or concerned about is once again, I don't
know if it's summertime and the heat gets to your brain cells. It's Alabama's just beating you down. I know the hovering humidity. Um, but I want to remind Fire and Grace Church that because we are part of the resistance against this whole system of Satan's whole work and system of the last days. Even though we're a small church, we are a big part, bigger than you realize, of the resistance to this, not just in our little community, but across our nation and even worldwide because of the things that I deal with, the issues I will touch on and confront from the word of God and what's going on in the world. Everything from the UFO alien agenda to NASA's lies to true creation to whatever it may be. And let me just go ahead and tell you, if this group in here gets a lot lie dah attitude, we're done for. You have to understand we are facing this church faces principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. And I'm talking about on a level that most of you don't even think about. I have seen them. I have felt them. And I know what they want to do. And that's why I have said and I will say it again and again and again. Wednesday night prayer is important. I'm just going to leave that one there. You should know that we will not survive as a local church if we don't pray together, if we don't make that an absolute priority. We won't survive as a local church if we do not pray privately a lot. And the Lord told me this morning just to say this that there are some of you that are skipping like you're going days and you don't really have a private prayer time. Let me just go on and tell you right now, if you're part of Fire and Grace Church, Fire and Grace School of Ministry, or consider yourself part of Fire and Grace Church, and you don't resist the devil in prayer regularly,
first of all, the devil's going to kill you. And then he's going to try to divide this church. Because I'm going to tell you right now too, we have constant over the years constant attempts of witches and government agents to infiltrate this church constantly. And the spiritual warfare they bring with them is very real. And if we don't resist the demons and bind them in our prayer time and ask God to show us what's going on and who's for real and who's not, we are going to be deceived, divided, or at least diminished. If y'all understand what I'm saying now, if y'all don't want me to retire, y'all better start praying. I'm fine. I can go take care of myself. You understand? Y'all want to go at it yourselves? Go ahead. You get what I'm saying? We need each other. We need each other in a bad way. And this is why I've I've focused on how important a local church is. Jesus said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." He said through Paul in Hebrews 10:25, "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is." So the church, the local church and the gathering together with other bornagain believers who pray and who fight, who are truly part of the resistance must come together as much as possible. We cannot take a light, lukewarm, lazy attitude about what's going on around us. You know, yesterday, you know, I pray over this church, but yesterday, you know, Sandra doesn't see a car and pulls out and gets hit. And it could have been far worse than it was with her already condition she has in her brain and her neck. And she did end up with a small brain bleed that they had to fly her from here to Montgomery yesterday after this accident. And the good news, we prayed with her on the phone before she flew out.
But the good news is is that God intervened for her and they said, "Well, it's getting better and it doesn't look like we're going to have to do anything and it's going to heal on its own. We're just going to watch her for a couple days." But with her situation now, what's interesting is Sandra told us a while back too, and I want to get to this. She told us a while back too that she had a dream where she felt like the Lord was trying to tell her that there was some type of curse on her. Because it's it's interesting that this wreck is was like only like a day or two difference from exactly the time she had the wreck six years ago. Same month, almost same day. But what I'm getting at is is that you've got to be in prayer and hearing from the Lord so you will know if there is an opening, if there is a curse you need to break, if there is some warfare you need to do specifically in an area so that you stop a situation before it happens because Satan is out to steal steal, kill, and destroy. Y'all understand that? It's what Jesus said in John 10:10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus said, "I am come that you might have life." Somebody say, "Might." Put that one up for me. Might. Might means maybe you will, maybe you won't. It's kind of up to you. I ask you this. Are you a warrior, a fighter that's part of the resistance to the devil? Are you just letting him have his way in your head, in your family, in your home, in your life? Frankly, most Christians are not part of the resistance. They're part of the problem. Amen. because they repeat the same things. It's interesting. I I just recently saw a guy get up in a pull pit in a Baptist church and speak directly against what the Bible teaches on a particular issue. Just speak right against it. And I'm like, I wonder who he's working for. It's sad, but this is a situation that we're in. Now, let me say this, too. Satan knows if you're a true Christian and he knows if you're a true Christian and an important member of a church. He will not only work on just the pastor or the pastor's family, but he's going to work on you
because he will he will take the time to work on you specifically. even take the time to send somebody to buddy up with you that will work on you. Oh, have we not seen it in this church? The infiltrators. Can I just go ahead and tell you that everybody that you see that comes to Fire and Grace Church who says they're one thing, they are not always that thing. There'll be more coming too, I'm sure soon. The Lord told me this. The Lord told me, I remember when he told me, he said, "There will government agents will come to your church." The deep state is not only government intelligence, but they're also highly satanic. They operate in deep Satanism and occultism. So these people don't only come to do government work. They come to do Satan's work. They just happen to get a paycheck from the CIA or some other organization, the Jesuits, or just a satanic covenant down the road that says we got to stop this church down here from praying and causing us problems. Because when we become the resistance to the devil we're supposed to be, we cause them problems. Amen. You want to know how I know this? Because I know this because when I was praying and fasting all the time back when I was 19, 20, 21, when I led that young lady out of hardcore Satanism and they tried to kill her, tried to kill me, when I got shot at, when I got, you know, harassed by the police, when I went through all kinds of crazy stuff, right? But I just kept being a light for Jesus. I kept being in prayer. I kept binding their demons and resisting them. I kept breaking their curses. And they would say, they would come up to me and say, "We have tried to kill you and we cannot do it. We have put curses on you." And it all comes back to us. But my brother, this was in 91, I guess 901, goes to Christ for the Nations in Dallas, you know, the the charismatic independent Bible school started during by Gordon Lindsay during the healing revival. And my brother goes there and they've got a big, you know, I don't know how big it was, six, seven, 10 stories
little high-rise that's their their dorms. And he gets his assignment and goes up to I think it was about the fifth floor to his dorm. And the guy that's his assigned guy and he go, you know, they walk in and he goes, "Hey." They're talking and he goes, "What's your name?" He says, "Allan Odel." He goes, "Wait a minute. Don't you have a brother named Dean?" Now, this is before the internet, y'all. My You think about this. I'm like, "This guy was from Nebraska." And Allan's like, "How do you know my brother?" He said, "Well, before I came to Jesus, I was a Satanist." And he caused us all kind of problems in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Alabama. Like he was a nuisance. He was a Christian terrorist in the spirit. Of course, you understand. I was going to God tell go to Texas and cast demons out of people. go to Missouri. I mean, I was wrecking their world just by obeying the Lord, being in prayer, being in fasting, resisting them, and going out and preaching the gospel on a street in a city where the majority of the people that lived there were Satanists. I even went I even wrote scriptures. I got poster boards in this city I lived in that it was like a city of about 3,000 and at least 1500 were in the coven that say worship the devil in Arkansas. I got poster boards and wrote the scriptures like like uh Luke 10:19 where Jesus said, "Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt you." Wrote that out. Luke 10:19 went through the town putting scriptures [clears throat] on the telephone post. I mean, I covered the town in the Bible, right? Oh, they hated my guts. We put I put those up about 9 in the morning. By 10:00, they were all down. And I'm talking about probably I put up a hundred or more, right? People were losing their minds. The mayor was a Satanist. The police were Satanists. The all the shop owners were Satanist. And they were losing their minds. Why? Because we got this Christian who we cannot affect with our stuff. Not because just because he's a Christian. See, that's the nonsense. Oh, just because I'm a Christian, they can't touch. No, you got to be part of the resistance. Amen.
You got to be active resistors and you got to know what's going on. And the only way times you can know what's going on is you better be fasting and praying. That's right. Amen. Because you need discernment from the Holy Spirit to know what's going on and to know who's who. Remember Jesus warned us. He said there will be what? wolves in sheep's clothing. There will be imposers. He said wizards wizards would take on all kinds of wait personalities and personas to deceive us. He even said, "Be not surprised. Satan himself is what? Like an angel of light." He transforms himself into an angel. Therefore, it is no great thing to know that his ministers, whose ministers? Satan's also transforms themselves to appear like the ministers of righteousness. How you going to know who an infiltrator is if you can't hear from the Lord? if you can't discern in the spirit. Cuz they'll come sit right next to you in church and put their arm around you. Oh, I love Jesus. No, they don't. They worship the devil. But they're here to cause problems. Oh, and you know what else they like to do? Oh, here, Pastor Troy. I love Jesus. I'm going to give you a big old fat offering. They love doing that one. You know why? Cuz if you're not careful, money can blind you. But but but they gave a lot of money to the church. Oh, Freemasons do that all the time to get control of a church. Oh, and by the way, if you got Freemasons as your elders and deacons and pastors, you're already taken over completely. Whether those guys are deep enough in it to know what they're doing or not, they're still operating in satanic occult power. And that's why they cause so much problems in your church. And that's a no-brainer right there. I'll say this too and you need to listen to me about this. If there is anyone in your generational line that was a Freemason or an Eastern Star or you know was a witch or a newager or
a Wiccan or a Satanist or anything down that a cabalist, a Roman Catholic, you better break that generational curse off of you or it will affect you. Even though you're a Christian, if you don't specifically break it and bind the demons associated with it, it will afflict you and it will cause you problems. You understand? James 4:7, I've said it so many times till I'm about blue in the face. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist. Somebody say resist. Resist. You know what that word means? It means to actively fight against. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. If you sit there and do nothing, if you don't pray, if you don't fast, if you don't bind demons, if you don't resist them in the name of Jesus, they're not going anywhere. I'll never forget, I think it was Howard Pitman. I remember listening to a cassette series on spiritual warfare by this guy named Howard Pitman way back. I listened to this in the 80s. So I don't know when this vision happened whether it was the 60s or the 70s but one of the things that he said that has stuck with me and troubled me for many years. He said he saw a huge conference table. And you know, we'll put these words up in a minute, but principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, these are these are levels of Satan's forces that you deal with. Okay? But he said the basically the big boys were sitting around a big conference table and Satan was sitting on the end the man himself the big don and said he was covered in chains just like wrapped around him. He's just sitting there with chains all over him. And he said as he's watching this, he said he would see new chains like light chains, you know, glowing chains appear and wrap around him. Just wrap around him, right? But then he said he would, as he would look, he would see other chains vanish and fall off. And I remember Howard Pivan asked the Lord, "What is this?" He goes, "Christians have the power to bind the devil and the demon spirits and the fallen angels to put chains upon them." Psalm 149, that's our blessing.
That's our gift from God to execute that judgment upon them. He said, "The chains that are disappearing are the Christians who have lost their faith in binding the demons." See, the binding of demons is a temporary restriction on their operation or their power. It's temporary. Well, this is why you have to do it consistently. And the hardest thing to get Christian, any Christians to do is to do something is consistently. Amen. And I know this from walking around trying to lead them for 40 years. Do it faithfully, not cuz you feel like it. If I went by how I felt, I wouldn't be here. I don't feel like coming on some Wednesday nights either. But I don't make up an excuse. Say it. Say it. The bottom line is the devil wants to make us lose our faith in the power of prayer, in the power of binding, in the power of resisting the devil in Jesus name. But see, how does he do it? You say, "Well, I believe in it. I didn't lose my faith." If you don't operate in it, if you don't act upon it, you don't have faith in it. Faith without works is dead being alone. You have to put it into practice. You have to speak it out of your mouth. Remember what it said in Mark when Jesus comes on the scene and he starts casting demons out of people. It says he cast out spirits with his words. You have to speak some words. You have to put some effort into it. You have to shoot to hit the bullseye. And some of you just spraying bullets with your eyes closed. Shoot like some of them gang members and they shoot all the every every last round in the gun and they hit nothing. Why? Because if you're going to hit your target, you must be focused on it and aim and be specific. Right? That's what spiritual warfare is, y'all. Being a Christian is not for lazy people. It doesn't work for lazy people. If you're mentally lazy, if you have no discipline, if you have no consistency,
you will get your head beat in by the forces of darkness. Period. Into discussion. And they will make sure that they take you down. They will trip you. They will make you fall. It's a wrestling match. They are trying to get a takedown. Y'all hear me? Now, let's put those words up here. I sent Jordan to Strongs, but let's look at the first one. Principalities. What are what is that word? Greek word aray. What does aray mean? It means the leaders. It means who is first, first place in rule or majesty. I believe the RK are the fallen angels who are not chained yet. They are not the ones who sinned with the human women. So therefore, they are still roaming about. And I believe that they are over like they they meet with Satan directly and they only and they direct everything else. I believe they're the ones sitting at that table. Okay. Then he says there's principalities. Then he says there's powers. And and again this RK it says look place or rank beginning first. So it's the first. It's where we get the term archangel right or archangel meaning the chief. That would be an arch like might be Michael Gabriel. And then of course from Enoch we've learned about Uriel and Raphael, right? and some of the others. Fanuel. All right. The second he says is exia. These right here, exia. I believe these have to do with political power because it talks exia is a word of authority. It how do I put it? Like like a policeman. We've used it I've used this example before but a policeman's given authority by the powers that be by the government and the representation of that authority is the badge right so that's exia the dunamis or the miracle the supernatural power is the gun right if you don't respect the authority then you get the power right I believe these right here power or rule of or government. Okay, these I believe we see set up over different nations operating through their leaders or leader, right? We see this with uh the prince of the kingdom of Persia going to fight in the P prince of Grecia coming and so forth in Daniel 10. Now, let's go to the next one. He says

Um, and it's a different Greek word, ponia, but I believe this has to do with the demons that we deal with in everyday life that try to make us sin, right? They have a deliverance ministry, one of the few churches back then that actually cast demons out of anybody who needed it, Christians or non-Christians.
