  1. Thank you Jesus. [Music] [Music] Oh, where the spirit of the Lord is, [Music] there is freedom. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [Music] Lift your eyes to heaven. [Music] There is freedom. Lift your eyes to heaven. There is freedom. [Music] Freedom rains in this place. [Music] Showers of mercy and grace. They are falling on every face. There is freedom. [Music] If you're tired and thirsty, there is freedom. Oh, if you're tired and thirsty, there is freom. Praise God. Give your all Jesus. Give him your all cuz there is freedom. There's freedom. Give it all to Jesus. Let's give our all cuz there is freedom. [Music] Freedom rains in this place. Showers of mercy and grace. They are falling over every face. There is freedom. [Music] Oh, freedom praise in this place. Showers of mercy and grace they are falling on every face.

  2. [Music] There is freedom. [Music] Jesus. [Music] Jesus reigns in this place. [Music] Showers of mercy and grace. They are falling on every face. There is freedom. Oh Jesus. Jesus reigns in this place. Oh showers of mercy and grace. We are falling on every face. There is freom. There is freedom. Oh, there is freedom. [Music] There is freedom. There is freom [Music] where the spirit of the Lord is. I love that. Don't you just love that? You just love that presence of God. Don't you just love him, Lord Jesus? We just love you, Lord. We thank you Lord where the spirit of the Lord is. That's so good. There is freedom. [Music] Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [Music] And when we're tired and thirsty, when we're tired, there is freom. Hey Mike, when we're tired and thirsty, there is freedom. [Music] Freedom reigns in this place. Freedom rains, y'all. The devil is a liar. They're falling on every face. There is freom. There's freedom in Jesus our savior.

  3. He loves us. He loves us, y'all. He loves us. Oh, he cares. Who's ever being lied to? Who's ever being lied to? And uh the enemy's lying and saying that that God don't care. He does care. First Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all our cares." The Lord told us to cast all our cares on him because he cares for us. Amen. He cares. And no matter what it is, he's concerned with the things that concern us. Amen. And he loves you. And he's on your side. No need to fear. No need. Amen. [Music] I could just stay on that first line. I could. I could. Where the spirit of the Lord is. The spirit of the Lord is Oh, there is freedom and he desires us. He desires us. He desires to spend time with us. He says, "Johnny, pick up your guitar and play to me." He says, "Get your Bible and read and get wisdom. Oh, give freedom. That's what he says. And he's so good. He's so good. Y so good. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. [Music] There is freedom. There is freom. [Music] I hate to leave that song because I love it. I love that song. There is freedom. Oh, there is freedom. [Music] Freedom praise in this place. Showers of mercy and grace. They are falling on every face. There is freedom. [Music] Freedom reigns in this place. Freedom remains.

  4. Isn't that so good? That's so good for every face. There's his presence. [Music] In his presence. [Music] In his presence is the fullness of joy. Oh, in his presence there's life ever more. in his presence. All our problems leave in his presence. [Music] In fact, I feel like we're supposed to sing that song again. Let's just do it one more time all the way through. Cuz there's freedom in Jesus. The truth of his word sets us free. And there's nothing better than his presence because that's where there is peace and joy. And where the joy of the Lord is, there is strength. A lot of times we got to walk through some wilderness. We got to walk through some valleys and some difficulties that seem dry and barren. And that's part that's part of the Lord making us strong and teaching us how to walk in faith. But Lord, we thank you. There is freedom. There's freedom in Jesus. Freedom. Thank you, Lord. One more time. Where the spirit of the Lord is, [Music] there is freedom. [Music] Spart [Music] freedom. [Music] Oh, lift your eyes to heaven. There is freedom. Freedom and gra in this place. [Music] Showers of mercy and grace. They are falling from every face. There is freedom.

  5. And when we're tired and thirsty, [Music] there is freom. Oh, when we're tired of thirsty, there is freedom. There's Jesus, y'all. Give it all to Jesus. Oh, there is freedom. [Music] Oh, so give your all to Jesus. There is freom. Freedom rains in this place. [Music] Showers of mercy and grace they are falling on every face. There is freedom. [Music] There is freedom. There is Jesus. In his presence there is freedom. There's freedom and healing. Yes, there is. Oh, [Music] there's freedom. There is freedom. [Music] Yes, Lord. We thank you, Lord. As that song says, if we give our all to Jesus, there is freedom. Lord, that's why there's so much bondage in the church. So many people still controlled and tormented and ruled by demons and their flesh because they won't surrender all to you. Because we have to first submit to you, Lord, fully. Then we can resist the devil and he will flee from us. So teach us, Lord, how to submit to your will, to repent, to obey, to walk with you as a true disciple, Lord, not resisting, not living in lukewarmness, but walking with you in truth and in righteousness, being led by your Holy Spirit. That's what we pray. And that we hear your voice. We pray this right now in Jesus name.

  6. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Well, may be seated this morning. We welcome everyone to Fire and Grace Church and those watching and listening out there. Thank you, Johnny and Julie. That was good. I love that song. That was one of the songs actually we did a lot in the beginning of the church. Yes, we did that song a lot. I love that song. Um cuz it's just true. Amen. Um you can go ahead and put that up. Um I do have a message I'm going to share with you today. I've never had a message entitled this, so this is fresh off the press here. Um but I felt just I've been in warfare, y'all. The spiritual warfare that I've been going through for the last few months has been um hard to put into words. And it's not just the physical stuff that I've been through, but it's just been the spiritual warfare over stepping out to obey the Lord. uh to get into the race again for political office for lieutenant governor of Alabama. Um I when I first went to my first meeting and confronted the first politician that I confronted about his lies, uh the powers of darkness that I felt coming at me were just unbelievable. It's far worse the spiritual warfare than last time. And I can't imagine I know there's people that let me know from all over the world, all over the United States that pray for me. And sometimes I wonder what life would be like if they didn't. Um the warfare is intense. It's real. And uh sometimes the Lord even allows it to get almost unbearable. Like he'll just back away. You'll be like, "Where is the Lord?" And uh we're going to talk about that a little bit, but I need to go through a few verses. First, I want you to look at uh First Thessalonians 5:23. So today, yes, called the place of dragons. You're going to understand that in just a minute. Um, and you'll see this is taken that that phrase is taken straight from scripture. o, we'll we'll get there in a second. Um, but every single time I will say this, every single time in the Old Testament where you see the use of dragons, in fact, dragons plural is only in the uh

  7. Old Testament. You see dragon speaking of Satan in the new but dragons was different and they're always associated with waste places, desolation, desert, ruins. Um, that's what they're associated with. You can read every account of them. I looked every one up. I looked up the word dragons and went through the whole thing. Um, but 1 Thessalonians 5:23 ought to be familiar to you guys. Uh, because it says here, "The very God of peace sanctify you holy." This was Paul's prayer for them. And he said, "I pray God your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." And so I've taught this over the years many different times about in different ways, but just wanted to uh for the sake of people who watch that are brand new watching and people who may be visiting um the Bible's very clear. We have three parts. We have a spirit, soul, and a body. And they're very different different Greek words for each of those things. Now over the years um I've come to from my study from uh a great book the spiritual man by watchman knee lays it out really well. Dr. Rebecca Brown in her books lay it out really well. I think if you look up the scriptures spirit, soul and body and how God operates through the different parts that we have uh those three different parts. Um I I believe the consensus you come down to this is that your spirit man has a spiritual body, spiritual eyes, mouth, ears. Um it has actually a a a form. Um and your spiritual body is where you perceive the presence of God. Okay? Now it can run over into the flesh. It can feel it. But the first place you sense or discern the presence of God, the spirit of God moving is in your spirit right here. Okay? And uh this is also the place where because the spirit is of God is there and your human spirit's there. This is the place of your intuition where you just know things. This where you say I don't know how I know but I just know. Right? Some people call it their their gut instinct or whatever or uh but intuition is something that's in our spirit. All right? It goes beyond the mind, the reasoning. All right? Then the place that you also have in your spirit is the place of your conscience. That's you where you instinctively know right and wrong. All right? That's where the God said he wrote the law in our hearts. So

  8. when we break it, even when we're not born again and still in blindness, we know it. That's why we feel guilt and shame for things. And that's why tribes that's never seen a Bible or modern civilization know that adultery is wrong. They know murder's wrong. They know lying's wrong. They know stealing's wrong. They know these things because God put them in their spirit, in their hearts. All right? Now, the mind or the soul is different. The soul is the part of us that's where we have the will where we make decisions. Our consciousness, our emotions are there. Um this is the place where if we're not careful, we can let become dominant and lead our lives instead of letting the Holy Spirit in our spirit lead us. Okay? And actually the soul is where the war takes place because the flesh wants to go the wrong way. The spirit in your spirit man wants to go the right way. And your soul, your mind, will, and emotions makes the decision which way we're going to go. All right? So, let me just go ahead and clue you in if you didn't know. But what's the devil after? Your soul, right? If he gets your soul, he's he's going to use and rule over your spirit. If he gets your soul, he's going to rule over your body. So, what do you have to guard more than anything else? Your mind, your will, your decisions, and your emotions. You can't let any of those run crazy. You hear me? Now, let's put up 2 uh Corinthians chapter 10 3-6. I know these ought to be elementary to everybody in here, spiritual warfare, right? But see, the question is not do you know the scriptures about spiritual warfare. The question is, do you do it or do you get lazy and just let the devil fill your head with all kinds of crazy thoughts because you just get lazy? I'm tired of I'm tired of fight tired of fighting. Start murmuring like the uh Israelites in the desert. And that's another thing. Let me just go and tell you right now. Murmuring and complaining is sin. I mean, they got in trouble in the wilderness over that one. But yet we get in uh we get in a wilderness spot. We get in a difficult time and what is the first thing we start doing? [Music] Right? And you know the Lord wants sometimes just to look down and just go, I just need to swat him. Right?

  9. Listen to that complaining. Grow up. Be a man. Right? be home. But he says, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal." So it's not physical, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. And what is he talking about? Casting down imaginations. Somebody say like Spongebob. Imagination, right? I thought, boy, I tell you what, they're teaching the kids just to think about anything, right? Visualize it, dream it up, whatever you want to. But bottom line, we're supposed to, the way we cast down strongholds is we cast down imaginations at every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Now, what is the knowledge of God? This book right here, you understand? This is the revelation and knowledge of God. We have to know the book. See, we won't recognize the thoughts that rise up against the knowledge of God if we don't have the knowledge of God. This is why you must read the Bible. This is why you must study it. This is why you must memorize it. This is why you must meditate on it and get it in you. So when one of these thoughts come up in your head, you know it's not of God and you don't want it there. So you cast it down in Jesus' name. You bind the demon bringing it and command him to go from you in Jesus name. Right? This is how we get control of our thought life. Now let me ask you something. Don't raise your hand because I don't I don't want even know. But think to yourself, do you truly have control, spiritual control through these weapons over your thought life? I want I'm just seeing if anybody go ahead and raise their hand. No, you don't have to. Now, there's a reason I'm going here with this today. All right? Because we are going to go through some wilderness times. All Christians, at some point in your life, you're going to go through some really dark spots, difficult spots, and you you will feel like God has stepped away from you at the time you need him the most because he's letting something happen, right? He's allowing it. The question

  10. you have to figure out a lot of times is, okay, why is God allowing this? Have I put myself in this place because of sin or rebellion or disobedience? Or has God just decided it's time to let the devil sift me as wheat? He He's He's going to step back because the devil's gone to him like he did for Job and said, "Let me let me let me throw this at him and he'll curse you. He'll turn on you." Remember, the goal of Satan is to get you to turn on God, to get you to turn away, to walk away, to speak against the Lord. That's his goal. And if you let him talk to you all the time and put imaginations and his ideas and thoughts in your head, they will turn you the he will slowly turn you away from the Lord. The great stories of the Bible like Job and like David are really the testimonies of men who him so much that it didn't matter to them what they went through. They weren't turning loose of him. And I will say this may be simple and everybody say, "Oh yeah, oh, Pastor Dean, I know what you're talking about." Do you? Because the days that are ahead, we think we've been tested. The days that are ahead of us will test everything. Fear. The Bible tells us it's going to get so bad that people's hearts are going to fail them for fear. Literally, they're going to be scared to death. Think about that. What will be happening on the earth that would scare people to the point of having heart attacks? I don't even know yet. And I have to ask myself sometime. I talk about it. I pray about it. I read about it. I've studied this stuff about what's coming in the last days most of my life now. And I have to ask myself, am I going to be able to stand? Nobody. You know, that's why it says in 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 12, wherefore let him that thinkketh he standeth take heed lest he falls. We start thinking we can't fall. Guess what's going to happen to you? Oh yeah.

  11. Let's go and read something. And I want to read this in um let's go into the the book of Psalms. Let's go to chapter 43. We're going to read chapter 43 and 44. And I show you where the Lord made this leap off the page at me. And I know this is for somebody today because you're going through something and the Lord feels a million miles away from you and the devil is starting to get in your head and you're starting to get angry at the Lord because this is this thing is happening. And sometimes it could be going on for a while, could be going on for years. You're like, "When will this end? When will this trial, this difficulty, this wilderness time, this place of dragons, when will it end?" I'll show you. Let's read this. So Psalm 43 first, it's only five verses. He says, "Judge me, oh God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man, for thou art the God of my strength. Why dust thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Oh, send out thy light and thy truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me unto thy holy hill and to thy tabernacles. Then I will go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy. Yay, upon the harp will I praise thee, oh God, my God. And then he says this, why art thou cast down, oh my soul, my mind, my will, my emotions. See what he's doing. He is showing my emotions and I've got this oppression of the enemy upon me and my emotions feel pretty rotten. Right. And he's reminding himself though, God is my God. The God who made heaven and earth is my God. He is my strength and he is my joy no matter what I feel. And this is where you are when you do this. In spite of where you are, what you're going through, or how you feel mentally, emotionally, this is where you speak the truth

  12. and don't complain. You hear me? Everybody needs to repent of this murmuring and complaining. You know, whole churches have split because murmuring and complaining started. That's it. I mean, and it spreads like a like a cancer. Let's keep reading. So, he he says, "Why art thou cast down, oh my soul? Why art thou disqued within me? Why why do I feel anxious and agitated? hope in God. Now, hope is interesting. Hope means that you're looking at the future. You're looking at the days ahead in a positive way. You're looking forward to it, right? Hope in God. And then he says, "For I shall yet praise him." Meaning, why did he throw the yet in there? I shall yet I'm gonna praise him no matter how I feel. And Johnny was talking about all this this morning. The Holy Spirit was leading you, brother. Everything you were talking, everything you were saying was this right here. And he didn't know what I was preaching because I didn't know what I was preaching till this morning. He said, "For I shall yet praise him who is the health of my countenance." Now, what is countenance? If you look it up, ponyim it means your face, your uh how you appear, whether weak or strong. And it also means uh your presence. We all each have our own presence about us. And see, that's what we need when we need the Lord to come strengthen what our spirit. And it says what? If if he doesn't strengthen our spirit, then the spirit man, what happens to us? We just pine away, right? And so when you're going through this place of the dragons, we're going to read it in just a second. The Lord is trying to take you a place you're going to see where he finally breaks you down completely. You thought I was going to say where everything turns into sunshining Skittles. No, it's the place where he breaks you of your own will, your own ways, your own comforts, the way you try to escape. He Let's read it. Goodness. Psalm 44. Here we go. We have heard with our ears, oh God, our fathers have told us, what work thou did in their days and in the times of old,

  13. and how thou did drive out the heathen with thy hand, and planted them, and how thou did afflict the people, and cast them out. He says, 'For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them, but thy right hand and thine arm and the light of thy countenance because thou hast favor unto them. So he's reminding the Lord, you know, we know we didn't do that. We didn't do it in our own strength. You ever prayed like this? I hope so. Lord, I know I don't deserve anything. Uh but I do remember your miracles and what you did for us in the past. And then he says, "Thou art my king, oh God. Command deliverances for Jacob or for me. Through thee we will push down our enemies. Through thy name we will tread them under that rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and has put them to shame that hated us. In God we boast all the day long in praise all the day long rather and praise thy name forever. He says but thou has cast off and put us to shame and goest not forth with our armies. Now what he's doing here he's talking about what God has done for them in the past and then even in for them for the one writing this here right and then he moves though but now he's going through something he feels like the Lord has cast off where is the Lord why does he why does he feel like he's far far away why don't I feel him why don't I have the goosebumps anymore more. Where's the peace? All these questions. Where did the Lord go? And see, I'll tell you this. Young believers, y'all get a little honeymoon period. And that, you know, only God knows how long he's going. He gives that to you. And then snatches it away because you got to learn to walk by faith and not by sight. You got to learn to walk by faith and not by feelings. If you don't ever learn to walk by faith instead of your feelings, you're never going to endure. And in fact, you will never be able to do what God's called you to do. Because if you step out to do what God has called you to do, you are going to meet resistance from all of hell. And if you don't have the determination to do things when you don't feel like it, you're not going to make it. I'm just going to tell you, you're not going to make it. Say, "Pastor Dean, that doesn't sound too nice." I Well, I want you to make it. And you have to understand something. Faithfulness is one of the fruits of the spirit, is it not? That's the fruit you better bear right there because faithful faithfulness means you

  14. stick in there no matter what you go through. You keep doing what God's told you to do. If it's killing you, if you're dying in the process, if you're in pain, you keep doing what God has told you to do and you keep speaking what God's word says. Amen. That's how we fight. We do not let our mind, our emotions, or even our physical body tell us what we going to do. If I did that, I wouldn't be standing here before you. I came both Sundays still preaching when I was having chest pains and pain running up my neck and down my arms and having to take nitroglycerin pills. I'm like, the devil's not stopping me from doing what I'm called to do. You understand? If I had a broke leg, I would be right here preaching this. You know, bottom line, I remember going to a preach in a a house one time. It was about 30 or 40 people showing up and I went I was at 103 fever. I said, "Oh, no, devil. You're not stopping me from going. I will go." And you know what? I got up there burning up, ache, body aches, the whole thing. I did the whole message, preached the whole thing. A young lady was there that had lost hearing in her ear, prayed for her in Jesus' name, and she's healed while I'm burning up with 103 fever. But see, most of us, what? 103 fever. Especially us men, it's like we we got pneumonia. We're dying. It's just a cold. We're terrible. I'm a terrible patient. I Oh, my wife takes good care of me, though. But then he turns this thing. He says, "We praise you. We boast in you, God, all the day. We praise your name forever. But you cast off. You've cast us off. You've put us to shame. You don't go with us against the armies against us. Like, where are you, God? Why do you let it appear that they're winning? Why do you let it appear like I'm losing? He said, "You make us to turn back from the enemy and they which hate us spoil for themselves." So they they the people that hate us seem to just get the spoil and get get anything they want. He says, "Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat and hast scattered us among the heathen. Thou sellest thy people for

  15. not, and do increase thy wealth by their price. Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn, and a derision to them that are round about us. Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people. And so he says, you you make it look like we have nothing. Like that's why they say, oh, they say to us, where is your God? our sister here, we had Dave and and Miriam from Hawaii. She was telling me last night about how she had terminal cancer and there were people that hated her and were happy about it. Here she's suffering, facing death in pain. But the people even was it some family members too? Family members hated her and were happy about it and even said, "What is what is your father doing to you?" Five years she had to fight that five years and then the Lord healed her completely. And one of those people she told me about that hated her and was glad she got cancer got cancer. Be careful. Be careful. But guess who she was calling to find out about her God. Yeah. This is why. See, I love that testimony last night because it wasn't over in a day. The place of dragons was five years for her. Sometimes we want things over. Oh, God, why don't you just heal me now? He's going to go, I will heal you when I'm good and ready. Right. Because what is he doing? I'm going to show you. He keeps going. He says, and then he says verse 15, after all these things are going, he says, "My confusion is continually before me." Everybody ever been in those places and you just feel confused because you don't really understand how good is going to come out of this? You ever felt that way? How is any good going to come out of this? It makes no sense. Why am I having to go through this? I was thinking sometimes I was thinking some of the things that I've been going through physically. I'm like, Lord, you tell me to run for lieutenant governor means I got to run all over the state and speak and travel and fight these demons. And yet I'm going through stuff that most people would just get in bed, stay there.

  16. And it's just confusion. You just go, "It doesn't make any sense. Lord, you need a healthy younger man doing this stuff, running around, right?" And the Lord says, "You obey me. Guess what? Guess what I have to do?" You do what the Lord says. No matter how you feel, no matter what confusion you're going through, attacks, you got to cast down confusion and just say, you know what? You know what cast down confusion is when you say, "I don't understand this, Lord, but I trust you." So, and that's okay to say. I don't understand what you're doing, but I trust that you are doing something for me that's going to be amazing when I get through this place of the dragons. And then he says this. He says, "For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth by reason of the enemy and the avengers." He says, "All this has come upon us. Yet," he says, "Have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant?" So, this person is saying, "I've I've checked myself. We've checked and said, we haven't we haven't departed from the covenant. We haven't we haven't turned on you, Lord. We haven't walked away. We haven't broken the covenant. We're not speaking falsehoods. And yet, you've done this. You've cast us off a little bit. You've hid your face from us. And see, remember when Jesus was on the cross, that moment he says, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" He had never sinned. He hadn't done anything. The Lord was showing us. I believe I know some people say that when sin came upon him, the father couldn't look at it. But maybe that's so, maybe it's not. But bottom line is I think it is an illustration that we are going to go through those times if we're going to follow Jesus where we're in our most serious time of suffering. I I remember laying awake and not sleeping for nearly a year in such pain that it would make tears run down my face from just pain all night long. I mean, severe pain. And you're thinking, "Where are you? Why Why is this happening? What's going on? And I hope nobody goes through that kind of stuff.

  17. Let me tell you, you live in pain like that and no sleep for a year. Oh, boy. Your body breaks down in other places. Your mind struggles. You say, "Lord, where are you? Why Why does it feel like you forsaken me? I know I haven't forsaken your covenant. I haven't walked away. I haven't cursed your name. I'm not drinking and and getting drunk. I'm not out partying. I'm not going to the club anymore. I'm walking with you, Lord. Why is this going on? Let's keep reading. He says, "All this is verse 17, has come upon us, yet we have not forgotten thee, oh the Lord, their learning faithfulness. Neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way. Though thou hast soar broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. Oh, I think about all those people that just got killed in Texas. All those families that lost children, one here in Alabama, eight-year-old, I can't imagine that pain in the shadow of that, the shadow of death there. And the world looks at that and goes, "It's a Christian camp. Where where is their God? Why didn't God stop this?" We don't know. I'll tell you one thing about those children, though. We know they went straight to heaven. Now, let me tell you that right there is like, yes, what happened was terrible, but hey, we know they made it, right? But their families are left here being sore broken in the place of dragons. covered in the shadow of death. Wonder what happened. I think about uh Rick Burgess. Many of you don't may not know who he is, but you if you ever heard the radio show Rick and Bubba back in the years, Rick had one of his children slip out of the house. I think they were two or three or something. when they were young, but falling into pool and drowning. Can you imagine? And he's a Christian. But you want I want to tell you what Rick's doing right now. He's preaching the gospel.

  18. He's still walking with the Lord. He still loves God. He's not angry. He didn't turn on him. But you want to talk about being s are broken and you have to go to this place. All Christians do and see say, "Pastor Dean, it's not a funeral today." One thing we know from the Bible about the last days is there's there going to be a lot more death happening. People who took that experimental gypy are dying all over the place. Turbo cancers, strokes, heart attacks, strange blood clots. And I was told by Dr. Teresa Long at dinner five years ago, she said, "People are going to start dropping dead all over the place in in five years." And she told me, she says, "There's nothing we can do about it either." And see all these people all of a sudden, boom, cancer dead. Boom, cancer, dead. I don't mean like people are finding out they have cancer and a week later they die. That's not even normal. But we have war coming that's going to kill a third of mankind. The stuff in the Middle East just now. It's just warming up. I just read uh another event 2011 type situation where they have uh put together and they're testing you know doing a scenario of a new virus that's going to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans quickly. uh you know before COVID they had event 2011 where a corona virus came on the scene they always have a scenario before they actually do it or a drill and it's coming at some point the evil new world order globalist cabal they're not going to just sit back and let uh the new administration do whatever it wants. Trump's going to Trump's going to get a rude awakening before long because I don't think he fully understands who he's dealing with. And some of them he's too friendly with anyway. So, they're going to do they're going to stab him in the back like like all the others did before.

  19. We need to be praying for him, praying for our country. I'm surprised something didn't happen over Fourth July. Now, of course, some people could say, and they might be absolutely true, that that storm was created by weather manipulation, and it appears to be so. And I've seen some things on on radar lately with storms that I've never seen before, and I've watched it all my life. Yeah. 45 minutes. all that whole flood situation. Verse 19 though he says, "Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons and covered us with the shadow of death, if we have forgotten thy name, the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange God, shall not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart?" And so he's just saying,"Lord, you you know, you know, we haven't walked away. We haven't cursed your name. We're not living in sin." And I don't know about you, I know somebody need to hear this today. What you're going through is part of the process. You have to go through there. And it's no fun. No fun whatsoever. And you know a dragon also represents the devil, right? Revelation chapter 12 says the dragon, that old serpent, the devil. Pretty much we know that it's a term for him. And where do demons go when we cast them out? It says they go to dry places, desolate places, wilderness places, seeking rest and they find none. So, this is a place where the devil's hanging out. He's hanging out with you. The demons are hanging out with you. And they're talking an awful lot in your head. See, right now when you see this stuff that's brewing on the horizon, the fear of of war, the fear of artificial intelligence taking over, the fear of losing our freedom. I mean all these things can be are can be true coming but we cannot let fear take over. We cannot let emotions take over. We have to continue to be led by the Holy Spirit. And let me just tell you right now, if you let your emotions get all worked up and you don't hear God, it's noisy. Say, "My emotions My emotions are noisy." Yes. And you have to tell them to shut up. And what does the word of God say?

  20. I will not fear what man can do to me. Right? What's the worst they can do? Killth, destroy the body, and then what's going to happen? I'll be writing back shortly, right? And I think the people who kill a Christian are going to see that Christian riding back with Jesus. Amen. But when he said he's broken us, what is that? What is that about? See, we're all a bunch of stiff necked, stubborn people. Some more than others, right? And it's just like in the old days in the Old West, a wild horse wasn't any good to anybody. It just ran around, ate when it wanted to, made little horses when it wanted to. But to be profitable, it had to be broken. And that means somebody had to get a hold of it, put bit and bridal in its mouth and get on its back and ride it till it finally broke. And this is what the Lord says. Go to Psalm 32. I'm going to read this. And I'm not going to preach long today. Y'all got a plane to catch. I know. But Psalm 32 has always been a blessing to me. The Lord's one time really spoke that to me and made it jump off the page. But listen, if you love Jesus with all your heart 1:00:001 hourand you're living for him, let me show you something that's real special here. 1:00:061 hour, 6 secondsThe Lord says this to you. He says, "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven and whose sin is covered." 1:00:151 hour, 15 secondsAmen to that. The blood of Jesus has provided that for us. And if you're walking in the truth and walking with 1:00:241 hour, 24 secondshim, the blood of Jesus continually will cleanse you as you confess your sin and turn from it. 1:00:321 hour, 32 secondsHe says, "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile." 1:00:401 hour, 40 secondsYou know what that means? It's not that we have no sin, but the Lord is saying, "I I don't have you guys are living so for I don't even 1:00:481 hour, 48 secondshave to keep an account of what you're doing. 1:00:521 hour, 52 secondsIt's like an accountant word there. I don't have to keep an account of it. 1:00:581 hour, 58 secondsAnd then he says, "In whose spirit is no God, there is no deceit. 1:01:031 hour, 1 minute, 3 secondsThere is no deception or falsehood or pretending or hypocrisy about you. 1:01:111 hour, 1 minute, 11 secondsYou're just being real, right? walking with Jesus. And he says this. He says, "When I kept silence, my 1:01:211 hour, 1 minute, 21 secondsbones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For night and day thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture is turned 1:01:281 hour, 1 minute, 28 secondsinto the drought of summer. I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will 1:01:361 hour, 1 minute, 36 secondsconfess my transgressions unto the Lord, and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin." For this shall everyone that is 1:01:451 hour, 1 minute, 45 secondsgodly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found. And surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. And then he says 1:01:551 hour, 1 minute, 55 secondsthis, thou art my hiding place. Thou shalt preserve me from trouble. Thou shalt compass me about with songs of 1:02:011 hour, 2 minutes, 1 seconddeliverance. And he, this is all David speaking here, King David. 1:02:121 hour, 2 minutes, 12 secondsThen it switches. The Lord speaks and he says, the Lord says to David as he prays this, 1:02:201 hour, 2 minutes, 20 secondsI will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go. I will guide thee with my eye. 1:02:261 hour, 2 minutes, 26 secondsBe ye not as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridal, 1:02:341 hour, 2 minutes, 34 secondslest they come near unto thee. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall 1:02:411 hour, 2 minutes, 41 secondscompass him about. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous, and shout for joy all ye that are upright in heart. 1:02:521 hour, 2 minutes, 52 secondsSo be not like the horse who has to be yanked about. 1:03:001 hour, 3 minutesThe Lord said you should be broken and you should be to the place where you don't have to have the bitten bridal and be pulled. 1:03:121 hour, 3 minutes, 12 secondsBasically what he's saying when I will guide you with my eye mean you should be so close to the Lord that he doesn't even have to talk to you. 1:03:201 hour, 3 minutes, 20 secondsYou just know what he wants. You know how a husband and wife have been married a long time like just we can make a look. 1:03:311 hour, 3 minutes, 31 secondsWe know exactly what the you know there's looks and then sometimes all I have to do is look in a certain direction or look at a 1:03:391 hour, 3 minutes, 39 secondscertain thing. That's what it means being guided by his eye. You don't have to be pulled about. Why? Because you've 1:03:471 hour, 3 minutes, 47 secondsallowed him to break you down and you didn't turn on him. 1:03:551 hour, 3 minutes, 55 secondsI was up in the Rocky Mountains one time on a sleigh ride with two horses, Jimmy and Jack. 1:04:051 hour, 4 minutes, 5 secondsAnd she had some reins and they were just loose. But she didn't have to use them. 1:04:111 hour, 4 minutes, 11 secondsAll she would she would say this, "Jimmy Jack," and they would take they would start off. She'd say, "Jimmy, Jack." 1:04:181 hour, 4 minutes, 18 secondsthey would stop and then she'd say another little word. 1:04:231 hour, 4 minutes, 23 secondsI don't know. They'd turn right, they'd turn left and they would just follow the trail. She would just turn around and talk to us. 1:04:311 hour, 4 minutes, 31 secondsAnd I thought, man, I've never seen horses like that. That just, you know, train like a dog. Come here, go there, sit, stay. 1:04:421 hour, 4 minutes, 42 secondsBut see, that's what the Lord wants out of us. He doesn't want to have to yank us around. 1:04:511 hour, 4 minutes, 51 secondsHe just wants you to be so close to him that he doesn't even have to speak. 1:05:001 hour, 5 minutesAnd that's the way, let me tell you, when I was first saved and walking with the Lord, when I came back, he had to talk loud to me. He had to move 1:05:081 hour, 5 minutes, 8 secondspowerfully, shake me. It had to be strong for me to hear it and know it was him and all these things. But the more I 1:05:171 hour, 5 minutes, 17 secondsgot broken and he moved in my life, the the less dramatic 1:05:241 hour, 5 minutes, 24 secondsthings became because I don't have to be knocked in the head as much as I did back then, right? 1:05:371 hour, 5 minutes, 37 secondsAnd now sometimes I was like, "Lord, just tell me." And he'll be like, "I already did. know already. 1:05:471 hour, 5 minutes, 47 secondsYou know, I've already put it inside you. You know, but I say, I want some of that dramatic stuff, 1:05:551 hour, 5 minutes, 55 secondsright? Everybody wants the dramatic stuff, powerful stuff. Angels coming down, seeing into heaven and singing, 1:06:041 hour, 6 minutes, 4 secondspower of God shaking you. I mean, all that's wonderful. And there's nothing wrong to want that because there's nothing better than the manifest presence of God upon your life. 1:06:171 hour, 6 minutes, 17 secondsThere's nothing better. And see that right there, I'm like I' I've had enough times where he's hit me with the glory 1:06:231 hour, 6 minutes, 23 secondsand power of heaven that I know I don't want to miss going there. 1:06:301 hour, 6 minutes, 30 secondsCuz if that is just a drip of what my body can handle down here, I can't imagine what it's going to be when I get a new body, 1:06:391 hour, 6 minutes, 39 secondsone like Jesus has, a a glorified, resurrected body. 1:06:451 hour, 6 minutes, 45 secondsSo, I don't want to miss it, and I hope you don't want to miss it. 1:06:491 hour, 6 minutes, 49 secondsBut you are going to go through the place of dragons. You're going to go through the desolate places. You're going to go through the wilderness. 1:07:001 hour, 7 minutesAnd it's going to be dry and difficult and painful and stressful and confusing. 1:07:111 hour, 7 minutes, 11 secondsJust don't turn on the Lord. Don't get offended with him. 1:07:191 hour, 7 minutes, 19 secondsJust just use that time to keep being faithful, to pray, to 1:07:271 hour, 7 minutes, 27 secondsfast, to worship, to study. Just don't walk away. Because let me tell you, you walk away from those things, you'll get weaker and weaker and weaker. 1:07:391 hour, 7 minutes, 39 secondsAnd then you'll get to a place where you won't be able to resist. 1:07:431 hour, 7 minutes, 43 secondsAnd then you're going to have a big fall. And here's the good news. 1:07:501 hour, 7 minutes, 50 secondsIf you have the big fall, you can get back up. 1:07:551 hour, 7 minutes, 55 secondsCauses a lot of problem, cause a lot of delay, but you can come back and the Lord will forgive you and he'll put you back on 1:08:021 hour, 8 minutes, 2 secondsthe course. David fell terribly. We know he did. 1:08:091 hour, 8 minutes, 9 secondsThink about when he got so he got so discouraged after being in the wilderness, running from Saul for 12 to 15 years. 1:08:181 hour, 8 minutes, 18 secondsThink about that. Living in caves, living in the desert. 1:08:241 hour, 8 minutes, 24 secondsI've been to Israel. You get out of their nice little places where they've have some vegetation and it's desert. 1:08:341 hour, 8 minutes, 34 secondsIt's a place of dragons. 1:08:381 hour, 8 minutes, 38 secondsAnd I think about him out there running from Saul for all those years. And remember 1:08:431 hour, 8 minutes, 43 secondswhen he said, I think it's 1st Samuel, oh, where is it? Yeah, 1st Samuel 27, I 1:08:511 hour, 8 minutes, 51 secondsthink, where he says, David said in his heart, I shall now one day perish at the hands of Saul. But what had God said? 1:09:011 hour, 9 minutes, 1 secondGod said, you're going to be king. 1:09:041 hour, 9 minutes, 4 secondsRight? But David said in his heart, "I shall one day perish at the hands of Saul." So what did he do? He came up with his own plan. 1:09:151 hour, 9 minutes, 15 secondsHe said, "I'm going to move in with the Philistines, the world, and then Saul will just quit seeking for 1:09:241 hour, 9 minutes, 24 secondsme." And sure enough, guess what? His emotions got the best of him. 1:09:321 hour, 9 minutes, 32 secondsInstead of seeking the Lord's will, he came up with his own plan because he was fearful. He was tired of being in the wilderness. And this is another thing. 1:09:401 hour, 9 minutes, 40 secondsYou start trying to form your own plans to get out of the the place of dragons. It's not going to work. 1:09:481 hour, 9 minutes, 48 secondsIn fact, things are going to get worse because what does David do? He goes and lives with the Philistines for a year and four months, 16 months. 1:09:591 hour, 9 minutes, 59 secondsI remember Jimmy Swagger preaching this back a long time ago. He said 16 months out of the will of God. That's what David did. 1:10:071 hour, 10 minutes, 7 secondsAnd what happened though? 1:10:101 hour, 10 minutes, 10 secondsEnemies came in while they were about to go to war with the Philistines against Israel. I mean, he was about to make a more terrible mistake. But God allowed these raiders to come in and take what? 1:10:211 hour, 10 minutes, 21 secondsTake everything. Kidnap his wives, his children, everybody, all his men. And he's sitting there going burning 1:10:301 hour, 10 minutes, 30 secondseverything down and when they get back everything's gone. His own men, his mighty men, his loyal men talked about 1:10:381 hour, 10 minutes, 38 secondsstoning him. Like, you couldn't be any lower than David at that moment. I have done some stupid crap. 1:10:481 hour, 10 minutes, 48 secondsWhat am I doing living with these Philistines? Y'all been living with some Philistines? 1:10:591 hour, 10 minutes, 59 secondsBut what did David do? He was, you can imagine how discouraged he was, how depressed, how exhausted. I mean, after 1:11:091 hour, 11 minutes, 9 secondsyears of being in the wilderness running and this trial, now it's gotten worse. 1:11:181 hour, 11 minutes, 18 secondsI I just I I think about that all the time. I'm like, he could have just laid down and said, "I can't do it anymore." 1:11:251 hour, 11 minutes, 25 secondslisten to his emotions. Can't do it anymore. And his men would have stoned him. 1:11:341 hour, 11 minutes, 34 secondsBut what did he say? David encouraged himself. 1:11:391 hour, 11 minutes, 39 secondsSometimes you got to encourage yourself, brother. 1:11:421 hour, 11 minutes, 42 secondsCuz sometimes you got he you know some some people have Job's wife just curse God and die. 1:11:501 hour, 11 minutes, 50 secondsI like that. What was it? Tim Tim Hawkins, the comedian, the Christian comedian, he 1:11:571 hour, 11 minutes, 57 secondssaid, "God took everything away from Joe, but he left his wife." 1:12:041 hour, 12 minutes, 4 secondsAnd it's like, "Hey, hey, what about the wife?" No, the devil's like, "I know what I'm doing." Right. 1:12:131 hour, 12 minutes, 13 secondsBut sometimes you got to encourage yourself because you can't expect all the time other people to be able to 1:12:211 hour, 12 minutes, 21 secondsencourage you. Sometimes you they try and it doesn't work because you just so down here. 1:12:291 hour, 12 minutes, 29 secondsBut if you don't step up and encourage yourself and what did he do? He said, "I need to hear from God right now." So he went back to seeking God. He called for the ephod. He sought. God, what do I do? 1:12:401 hour, 12 minutes, 40 secondsDo I pursue this troop or not? And the Lord said, "Pursue. 1:12:471 hour, 12 minutes, 47 secondsYou're going to overtake them. You're going to recover all." Somebody say, "Recover all." Recover all. If you don't 1:12:541 hour, 12 minutes, 54 secondsgive up through the wilderness, you will recover all 1:13:041 hour, 13 minutes, 4 secondsbecause the Lord can restore everything and he can restore. Even if you lost something through all that, he can 1:13:131 hour, 13 minutes, 13 secondsrestore and make things better than they were. Amen. Amen. 1:13:241 hour, 13 minutes, 24 secondsSo now you know what the place of dragons is, right? 1:13:311 hour, 13 minutes, 31 secondsPlace is hot. Dragons breathing on you. 1:13:351 hour, 13 minutes, 35 secondsYou know that there's a renewed fascination with dragons going on right now. They were real. 1:13:421 hour, 13 minutes, 42 secondsThey were absolutely real. There may be some still around, but they were real. 1:13:501 hour, 13 minutes, 50 secondsI've heard there's one underneath the Vatican that's still alive. 1:13:581 hour, 13 minutes, 58 secondsWho knows? Maybe some of those are going to come out and scare the hell out of people. I don't know. But let's stand. 1:14:171 hour, 14 minutes, 17 secondssay, "Pastor Dean, I'm I'm I'm good right now. I'm not in that place. I'm I'm glad for you. 1:14:271 hour, 14 minutes, 27 secondsYou're probably going to visit it again. 1:14:301 hour, 14 minutes, 30 secondsSo, be ready." Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 24? 1:14:381 hour, 14 minutes, 38 secondsThose who what? endure to the end will be saved. 1:14:441 hour, 14 minutes, 44 secondsAs Christians, we have to endure something. 1:14:481 hour, 14 minutes, 48 secondsWe have to endure reproach, persecution of different kinds, 1:14:581 hour, 14 minutes, 58 secondsspiritual warfare that becomes unreal. 1:15:031 hour, 15 minutes, 3 secondsFamily members, children not doing what they should. 1:15:111 hour, 15 minutes, 11 secondslosing people sometimes like my sister. 1:15:171 hour, 15 minutes, 17 secondsThat one still bothers me. I miss her terribly. But you keep going. 1:15:271 hour, 15 minutes, 27 secondsYou just keep going. Be faithful. 1:15:311 hour, 15 minutes, 31 secondsUm let's do that song. um 1:15:371 hour, 15 minutes, 37 secondsyour mercy goes much deeper because where can we go but 1:15:441 hour, 15 minutes, 44 secondsfrom Jesus there's nowhere to go. I you know I thank God that the apostles figured that out 1:15:531 hour, 15 minutes, 53 secondsand all those disciples left Jesus and walked no more with him and he looked at them said will you also go away? 1:16:041 hour, 16 minutes, 4 secondsYeah. John 6:66. Can't forget that one. 1:16:091 hour, 16 minutes, 9 secondsBut Peter says, "Lord, where do we go?" You have the words of eternal life. There's nowhere else to turn. 1:16:201 hour, 16 minutes, 20 secondsSo what do you do when you get to the end of your rope? Tie a knot and hang on. Right. 1:16:301 hour, 16 minutes, 30 secondsAmen. Let's do this song. Thank you, Jesus. Bless you Jesus. 1:16:371 hour, 16 minutes, 37 secondsBless you Jesus. 1:16:431 hour, 16 minutes, 43 seconds[Music] 1:16:511 hour, 16 minutes, 51 secondsYour mercy goes much deeper. Your grace resues me. 1:16:591 hour, 16 minutes, 59 secondsYour mercy goes much deeper. 1:17:031 hour, 17 minutes, 3 secondsAnd farther than I can see, your mercy goes much deeper. 1:17:111 hour, 17 minutes, 11 secondsYour grace that rescues me. 1:17:151 hour, 17 minutes, 15 secondsYour mercy goes much deeper and farther than I can see. 1:17:251 hour, 17 minutes, 25 secondsI reach for you when I'm going under. 1:17:331 hour, 17 minutes, 33 secondsI wait for you, Jesus.
