About this sermon

In “The One World Church,” Pastor Dean Odle presents a Scripture-centered message about the condition of the church, Bible prophecy, the authority of Scripture. Drawing especially from Ephesians 5, Revelation 17, Revelation 6, Revelation 20, the teaching emphasizes that the church is called to recover biblical faithfulness instead of accommodating compromise. Odle connects that foundation with the conviction that prophecy should produce discernment, readiness, and faithfulness rather than speculation alone.

now this is of course the prophet jeremiah speaking to the children of israel to jerusalem to the people of god the lord is speaking very clearly but this could not be more uh pertinent for the church of today than when jeremiah wrote it for the children of israel let's read this he said declare this in the house of jacob and publish it in judah saying hear now this o foolish people and without understanding which have eyes and see not and which have ears and hear not fear ye not me saith the lord will you not tremble at my presence which i have placed which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree that it cannot pass it and though the waves thereof tossed themselves they cannot prevail though they roar they cannot pass over it but this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart they are revolted and gone neither say they in their heart let us now fear the lord our god that giveth reign both the former and the latter in his season and has reserved unto us the appointed weeks of harvest he says your iniquities have turned away these things and your sins have withholding good things from you for among my people are found wicked men they lay weight as he that set it snares and they set a trap and they catch men as a cage is full of birds so are their houses full of deceit therefore they are become great who the deceivers they have become great they've waxed and rich they are waxing fat they shine yea and they overpass the deeds of the wicked they judge not the cause the cause of the fatherless yet they prosper and the right of the needy do they not judge shall i not visit for these things or judge bring judgment is what that means when the lord says shall i not visit he means shall i not bring judgment for these things shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this and then he says a wonderful and this means a ruinous desolation and a horrible thing is committed in the land the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their own human what this means their own human power by their own means and my people love to have it so and what will you do in the end thereof and it's interesting that the word end in hebrew means last days what will you do

my people the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their own means and my people love to have it so i have never seen a time in my 46 years that the church in america loves the deceivers they love them more than any other time i have ever seen and i'm talking about spirit-filled charismatic pentecostal churches evangelical churches churches it used to be solid in the bible would stick to the bible that the word of god was first place the final authority the final judge on every matter and now they will follow anybody who talks about jesus once in a while or maybe even has a miracle or a prophecy come to pass and they will follow them and they will defend them and they will justify them and it blows my mind that that we are at this place you can you can show people i'm talking about christians i'm talking about i can show christians a group of prophets that operate in false prophecy that give hundreds of false prophecies that don't come to pass when they say they're going to come to pass i can show them they practice pagan occultism and these christians will attack me and defend the false prophets it happened this week more than once oh they can blow it they can have women come in their office to get in and have to uh get naked to get a word from the lord but that's who they defend bob jones that was the late bob jones prophet did that one and yet to this day he is defended as a true prophet of god sorry i don't recall i don't recall reading in the bible any prophet that said hey ladies i'll give you a prophecy if you'll come in my office and strip down and that was just one of his mild offenses but this was rick joyner's right-hand man for years and mike bickle's right-hand man for years this is the guy who prophesied that the rapture and the in the end times is like
