Lord let Revival fall on every nation represented in this building tonight send Revival to every Church whose Pastor is standing in this place tonight give them their City Lord give them their City Lord give them their City Lord give us the Nations Lord give us the Nations [Music] Lord Praise You Lord yes Lord we pray right now in Jesus name Lord we thank you God we thank you that you have fulfilled prophetic words and Visions Lord about this church Lord that you have enabled us Lord to reach the nations of the world with truth with the gospel with the message of repentance and the fear of the Lord to hate sin to live for Jesus to be a true disciple Lord we have preached your gospel and you have taken it all over and we know there's much more work to do and we pray for the power the outpouring of the Holy Spirit Spirit upon the preaching and teaching of your word Lord I Thank you for it upon our graduates of our ministry school as they're doing Ministry Lord those that are in the ministry school right now Lord I pray that you prepare them and fill them with your word revelation truth but the anointing to go forth and preach the gospel without fear Lord I pray this over everyone and everyone here and everyone listening today and watching and those who will watch we pray it in Jesus name amen amen you may be seated this morning welcome everyone Hallelujah welcome to those watching and listening uh just going to let you know we may be here for a while today so got some business to take care of today today um there's a few scriptures I mean we're going to go to quite a bit I think today um but second Kings chapter 6 I think we're going to start there 2 Kings chapter 6 start at verse one we'll talk about this lost ax head today I brought my Cherokee Tomahawk it's a real one here uh that was sent to me by Lieutenant Colonel Allan West it's a black roow regiment Tomahawk but you could also call it a small axe it's beautiful
though it's got black Rob regiment on this side and on this side it's got Pastor Dean OD and it's uh I love it it's a whole reason I'm going to carry this around here pretty soon um regularly I should say but just remember that uh and if I took the blade guard off this you could cut a tree down with this for real all right that's why the blade guard still on it because it's sharp um so you're okay Pastor Troy I'm I'm not going to get you all right um but let's read this I've never preached from this passage before but many years ago the lord gave me kind of a series of things Revelations from the life of Elijah and Elisha that um some of you may have noticed I kind of been going through Elisha here a little bit over the last few months but uh let's read this this is 2 Kings chapter 6 verse one and the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha behold now the place where we dwell with thee is too straight or narrow or too small for us let us go we pray thee unto Jordan that is the River Jordan and take then every man a beam and let us make a place there where we may dwell and he answered go ye so the sons of the prophets you need to know that they were kind of those that were in training under the prophet Elisha and he told them to go do that and one said be content I pray thee and go with thy servants and he answered I will go so he went with them and when they came to Jordan they cut down wood but as one was felling a beam or cutting down a tree the axe head fell into the water and he cried and said alas Master for it is borrowed or it was borrowed and the man of God said where fell it and he showed him the place and he cut down a stick and cast it in there and the iron did swim as we know Iron does not float in water right so this is Supernatural power of God it's the anointing of God on Elisha doing this therefore he said take it up to thee and he put his put out his hand and he took it now a lot of people think okay what in the world can we learn from this story but I want to remind you something 1 Corinthians chapter 10 says that everything done in the Old Testament were examples for us they were uh upon whom the ends of the world are come and then of course Galatians chapter 4 I love how Paul tells the story of Hagar and Ishmael and Sarah and says that that was an allegory of the two covenants of the old Covenant versus the New Covenant so true
things that happened in the Old Testament can also have allegorical truth there all right and I'm going to show you what the Lord told me about this about why this is so significant and you're going to understand um but first I need to establish some things real quick here um remember that the the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon Elijah uh was passed to Elisha right and that was God telling him I'm going to go go anoint Elisha to be the prophet in your place and so he did and of course everybody knows the story that Elisha said you know I want a double portion of your anointing upon me and basically Elijah said well that's not for me to give you I can't determine that but if you see me when I'm take it up then it'll be done and of course Elisha refused to you know let Elijah get out of his sight right but notice it says too about Elisha that he was before he became became the leader the spiritual leader of uh the sons of the prophets and of Israel he it said he poured water on the hands of Elijah meaning that he had learned humility he learned to be a servant first he had learned uh to respect authority Spiritual Authority and God could promote him and so this is something this is why in the school of Ministry for those of you who don't don't know our students are required to read study uh be tested on they have a whole class on watch my KN book The Great Chinese Apostle it's called Spiritual Authority and it is an amazing book and if you've never read it you ought to read it uh even if you're not in the school of ministry because if you don't get the principle down of learning to recognize Spiritual Authority if you don't learn to recognize it and learn how to act you're not going to go very far in the kingdom of God I remind people all the time the devil Satan Lucifer whatever you want to call him the dragon that old serpent when he was an angel he didn't get kicked out he didn't become Satan because of adultery or drunkenness or any of the the things that are sins of the flesh but it was his pride and it says that his both his pride in his Beauty and in his wisdom and there's a lot of people in the church World lot of people in the kingdom of God that get some knowledge and they get a little puffed up and they start thinking there's something but let me just go in and tell you right now
knowledge does not mean you've been given the anointing knowledge does not mean you've been given Authority you understand you see who called Elisha did Elijah go and say hey you you you need to follow the lord you need to become the prophet here no God said it God called him God anointed him and it was just it was recognized in the moment that these sons of the prophets if you go back and you read where right before Elijah was taken up I mean they were like following around too they were they wanted to know who's going to who's going to take over now who's going to be in authority and God made it clear Elisha was in Authority all right um let me tell you one of my pet peeves my wife will tell you I'm very patient sometimes I'm too patient and I let things go on longer than I should let them go on but I've learned over the years of doing this and walking with the Lord now I'm going on my 38th year now we're into I've learned that I can be very patient with people people may be Christians and church members may be struggling with all kinds of things struggling with some sin in their life or struggling with what sexual sin or struggling with some addiction and and the my wife will tell you very patient very patient with people let God you know hopefully get a hold of them but when somebody starts basically trying to undermine my authority as the pastor of this church when they start sewing that kind of attitude spirit and they start trying to sew some Division I promise you I'm not going to let it last too long y'all hear me why anybody would want to try to undermine me in my own church I I especially if you've listened to me for a long time you ought to know that I'm not going to put up with it not for a second you know um Elisha if we backed up into chapter 5 he had a certain servant named gesi that was with him and gesi uh was really supposed to be trained by Elisha and be the next leader the one in Spiritual Authority but what did he do we all know that when non got healed in the River Jordan which is going to be significant we're going to go back to Jordan in a minute we're going to be all around that river of
Jordan um but when non was healed non wanted to give Elisha all these gifts money and clothing and and Elisha purposefully said no now it wasn't that they didn't take offerings from people that's how prophets and Priests survived back in those times right or a lot of them worked too worked a regular job um but Elisha knew that he didn't want non thinking that he could buy God's power God's anointing right God's favor that it was just God's blessing to him it was Mercy it was Grace it was undeserved kindness right that's the definition of mercy undeserved kindness and he didn't want to think that he didn't want non thinking that he had to give something to get something like we hear the prosperity preachers now give to get right and so gesi slipped off right he slipped off and he said hey the man of God said he would take that stuff now now let me tell you what why this was so bad because it wasn't just a sin of greed it was a direct assault on the authority of Elisha Elisha told him exactly we're not taking any material objects money silver gold nothing we're not taking it and so what gesi did was he he violated the principle of Spiritual Authority just by disobeying and what happened to gesi when he got back then he he here's what he gets back and he lies about it and Elisha has to say don't you know I saw what you were doing don't you know it he says let me tell you what the the leprosy of non now is going to be on you now I don't know if anybody see us here in the west we don't really have a comprehension of what leprosy is but leprosy is horrible leprosy is open wounds that just rot until noses fall off fingers fall off hands fall off it stinks highly contagious think about it that's what Came Upon gesi and you
know what you can have leprosy for decades before it kills you so you suffer and suffer and suffer with it so see this was no like punishment we think leprosy oh he got a little skin rash got a little eczema on it no that's not leprosy and not only that but gesi was sent packing you understand boy y'all are quiet like the episcopalians this morning he went packing he sent him packing cuz later you see gazi working for the King right telling stories of things he saw Elisha do but no longer there to be with him no longer to be the next prophet in line no longer see you can you can lose your destiny in the Lord you can you can lose it all by how you act by how you act toward Authority by how you act in church I know people that have short circuited derailed detoured their entire spiritual life because they stepped into church and started trying to attack the pastor and seow Division in the church now I don't know what possesses somebody's head that's a Christian that that's somehow right to do let me tell you something right now if you don't agree with me and you don't believe what I'm teaching is the truth and you don't believe I'm led by the Holy Spirit there's the door you hear me but you start running your mouth I'm going to show you the door you understand because I'm not putting up with it no more than Elisha did and and and here's the thing you should know I'll do it because I've already done it that's what I'm I Marvel at is the audacity of some of the folks that come in here and the crap that they do boy some of you are looking at looking at me like is it I Lord is it me let's get back to the the accent that was your introduction so at least you understand what's going on here right so what's interesting is and this is another little truth here a little tidbit of Truth you can pull out of this um just because you got a little bit of rope doesn't mean you're a cowboy okay and the sons of the prophets may have gotten a prophecy or a vision or a
dream or God did a miracle with them or through them but they weren't in charge right they weren't in charge it's just real simple and what's interesting is is that you notice the guy who lost the axe head into the water uh he knew he didn't have the power or the authority to get it did he so they were lucky what that somebody else was there who had the real anointing and the authority somebody say anointing anointing and Authority you got to have both and I know people that have the anointing because God's called them and there's a gift upon them but because they're rebellious and prideful at heart they resist Authority they will never truly truly do what God's called them to do until they deal with that that pride and that rebellious Spirit they have and I you know this is why David King David when Saul was chasing him Saul was in the wrong I mean Saul was trying to kill him Saul was throwing javelins at him Saul was hunting him down like he was some kind of f you know convict but just when David slips out he's David's hiding in a cave and Saul comes in there and goes to sleep what's he doing he cuts off just a little part of His Garment of Saul's garment just to prove hey I could have killed you but I didn't trying to basically prove himself and justify himself and it says David's heart smote him that he was convicted by the Holy Spirit he said because he should never put his hands at all on the Lord's anointed because what what was God trying to teach David that Saul didn't understand God was trying to teach David you respect authority if you expect people when I put you as king to respect your Authority then you have to know how to respect authority and that's why he said from then on did David say I will never put my hands on him said he'll fall in battle or something else will happen but he won't happen by me and think about the guy who came with and told David that he had killed Saul what happened to him how was it you were not afraid to touch the Lord's anointed now I know that there are pastors out there and leaders who talk about this talk about Spiritual Authority and abuse their authority authority can be abused
absolutely but let me just go ahead and tell you right now in the church world if somebody's called to the five-fold ministry and especially if you know they're in leadership in ministries churches whatever you want to want to say trust me about one thing it's not your job to fix the problem if God called them God anointed them even David knew it's not my job to take out Saul that is the Lord's problem I'm out of this that's because he knew if I do this see here's the thing you assassinate a king to become king guess what you just did you will reap what you sow so you just Justified it you you might have servants then being tempted wanting to be king and go H well he assassinated the king that's how he got in here in this place I'll just take him out and you see that you see that with huzel he he assassinates the king to become king not what you want to do and I've noticed for some reason and this is a sickness in chist in many Christians to try to make themselves feel better they got to tear somebody down so they feel like they are building themselves up in fact one of the definitions of strife basically is to cause contention because you want superiority and if you think about it think think about the times that you've been on a job somewhere and the boss just does you just drive you crazy right cuz sometimes they do things the tough way right and you know there's an easier way but they want it done this way right and then you start running your mouth and then they walk up and go hey you're fired was it because you couldn't do the job no you could do it was it because you disrespected Authority and started sewing that by speaking it out of your mouth you know I've been in other pastors churches as a member of the church that I didn't agree with doctrinally on a lot of
things it it was not my job to slip around and teach my Doctrine in their Church you understand it wasn't my job to try to undermine them in their Church you know I think about my big dog some of y'all saw my big dog yesterday Bear right big Turkish Kangle let me give you a little idea that yard and that house house is his realm of authority and he knows it right and if you violate his realm of authority you're going to find out that he has the strongest bite force jaw of any dog in the world snap your arm like a twig all right Jordan has a healthy respect to bear yeah I remember old Jesse thought he was a dog whisperer and I said don't put your hand over that fence you about to violate that man's Authority right there and he about didn't get his hand back thought oh no dogs love me oh he about got him and I'm G to tell you if be had latched down on that hand we'd have been there for a minute but now it wouldn't be right for me right to take bear to somebody else's yard right I had no right no Authority he has no right or authority to be there you get what I'm saying I hope y'all understanding this now let's get back to the ACT head real quick say Pastor Dean you're scary good that's why that's why I Marvel anybody wants to mess around um but this axe head so it falls in the water right and then Elisha gets a stick and throws it in and the axe head swims and this is something the Lord spoke to me and this is what I want to get across to you right now is that do we want the supernatural yes of course do we want healing and miracles and God's glory and power working yes and he does I'm Skyfall where's Mike there he is how many things you get healed of three things cancer in your mouth your shoulder and Asthma pretty good right um and let me say this too about our church you know things like this
happen all the time but we don't have a camera falling around everybody so we can get it on social media [Music] oh Sunday you know the Sunday night of Skyfall we have a full-blown Deliverance just like in the gospels demons talking through somebody what's your name demon tell the name Casting the demon out the whole full manifestation you know what never even dawned on me or my wife to turn the phone on make sure we record it so we can show everybody the power of God's working in church see I'm GNA tell you right now this church is not about showboating I'm not going to try to showboat that's why you know say I don't post on social media all the time I don't try to Hype things up and try to get people here I don't want God to lead people I don't want to manipulate people with hype you understand we've seen many people delivered from demons healed of cancer healed of all kind of things then we've had people not be healed of things guess what we understand I try to preach the Balan message yes I still believe that God works miracles and does Miracles today and heals the sick and and all kind of things we've seen all kind of things I've every Miracle I've seen over the years and even here we've seen God answer prayers but we also know that sometimes he says no and sometimes you got to go through the trial and the suffering and sometimes it's time for somebody to say bye to us and that's okay but you know I think we had a pretty good track record in this Church we've been 16 years and we've only lost two members to death think about that 16 years and even the one the first one was only a occasional visitor so I think God's blessed us amen but let me just tell you something we were playing all those songs a minute ago from the Brownsville Revival I was there I was there week after week after week for years I went let me tell you there was no Focus whatsoever in that Revival on healing and miracles yet God did them but let me tell you what the focus was every single night every single night the power of God would come down and the conviction of the Holy Spirit
would come upon the unsaved and the backslidden and they would run to the altars and repent in tears now let me tell you right now I'd rather have that miracle and that power than any kind of healing or manifestations or people falling in the floor or even people talking in tongues and I'm for all that I've seen all I'm I'm not against any of that stuff but I would rather see the power of the Gospel the power of the word of God convict somebody of sin and they truly repent and become born again and fall in love with Jesus and hate their sin and their life be transformed that is power from on high that is the power to become the Sons and Daughters of God I don't care about fire tunnels and laying on graves do you know I could play that hype game I could make sure we had a camera on everything get it on social media gotta get this got to get that go but I'm not Greg lock just having a little fun um let's go back to this this is what the Lord showed me that lost iron let me tell you what it represents the lost people around us the lost world around us the Lost Christians who are lukewarm and backslid and don't even know it the Christians who are so blind by their own Pride The Pride as Obadiah 13 says their PR has deceived them they're completely deceived they're Pharisees in it completely blind in the church lost lost Christians and people who have never come to know Jesus that's what this iron is you let me tell you what the stick is that he threw in that brought the iron from the bottom of a river that stick is a piece of wood that represents the cross and it represents the preaching of the Cross and that my friends is almost completely absent from the church in America and that's what I was trying to tell you a few weeks ago if you got a place that's always focusing on tongues and interpretation of tongues and
prophecies and dreams and visions and healings and miracles and manifestations and shaking and people falling on the floor and that's what it's all about and that's what they're hungry for and we just got to have these we got to have the the fire let me tell you what's happening there and there's no preaching of the cross of Jesus Christ that calls The Sinner to repentance that Ministry that church that person let me tell you they're going to get get what they want they're going to get manifestations they're going to get signs and wonders and healings but it won't be the Holy Ghost doing it this is why they walk out of bethl with calini demons because the search and the desire for the supernatural has become an idol instead of to know God to be grounded in his word and to be focused on what's most important which is the Salvation of the Lost through the preaching of the Gospel calling Sinners to repentance and having the power on that preaching to make it happen I tell you the truth right now if the Lord said you will never see another healing or Miracle or sign or wonder but I'm going to give you the lost and they're going to get saved in droves by the thousands upon thousands guess which one I'm going to take and I'll tell you right now I know from the Lord he is fed up with Christians who want power but don't want the power of Holy Ghost conviction of sin sick of it he is sick of it in fact I believe Now in America and just say Western Christianity I believe that the Lord is like you know what I don't really want to give them any signs and wonders that's why it's not the same as it was in the 80s and the 90s because Jesus got frustrated with him he said you except you see signs and wonders you won't believe he said John the Baptist he said did know miracle yet he was the greatest of all prophets why because he preached repentance he pointed people to the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world and real repentance and he said that's the axe being laid to the root of the trees that's what's missing but you get some body with a
true Prophet anointing on them to preach the cross of Jesus Christ and all that that means the Iron Will swim all right I'm just I'm just going to tell you sometimes I get sick and tired of church folk let's go to uh 1 Corinthians chapter 1 in fact this is one of the first scriptures that I ever memorized and didn't even try to memorize it really let me show you something here you want to see the power of God now you got to remember here's a church First Corinthians chapter 1 you here's a church that that Paul said they in verse 7 they come behind and no gift they had all the gifts of the holy spirit moving and working but then he has to tell them there's divisions among you the house of clo Untold on you but look's look at verse 17 he said for Christ sent me not to baptize but to preach the gospel not with wisdom of words lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect for the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of God somebody say it is the power of God oh but Pastor Dean I want to see tongues I want to see people falling in the floor I want to see prophecies I want to have visions you're missing the whole point all of that is to help you do this to preach the cross that Jesus had to die for our sins and be raised from the dead and that he came to save us from our sin Sins not in our
sin and he came it says to preach that gospel and to call Sinners to repentance to turn away from their sins and to live for Jesus and to deny themselves take up their cross daily and follow Jesus not the world not their own opinions not their arrogancy because they think they know something see that's why you know again I was taught all the tricks to build a mega church as a young man why do you think there's so many of them the formula works but they can't make the a head swim I think it's interesting that the sons of the prophets and Elisha had to leave where they were and I believe that's represents leaving most of the current churches in America said we need another place By The River Jordan well guess what that's exactly the place that John the Baptist popped up preaching at the River Jordan and giv people specific things to repent of he he didn't he wasn't vague God loves you just he loves everybody it's going be okay that's not how he prepared people's hearts to receive Jesus no what did he tell them stop stealing stop lying you know old Duffy this guy just did that final experiment thing that he thinks is the final experiment there's a video of him preaching a sermon I have it I've listened to it him preaching a sermon where he says that deceiving and lying is not immoral or bad that's his conclusion from studying the Bible yeah this is the guy that y'all want to believe about something right what a con artist got Shadows going in three directions on their little video you know I wonder how they thought they were going to get away with that with flat earthers but anyway we'll deal with that later but he says here for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved
it is the power of God I like that go to John chapter one John 1 did I say John one where was I going with oh yeah verse 12 well verse 11 too verse 10 verse eight speaking of John he was not that light but was sent to Bear witness of that light that was the True Light which light every man that cometh into the world speaking of Jesus he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not he came unto his own and his own received him not but as many as received him to them gave he somebody say it Power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name which were born not of blood nor of the will of man of the flesh or the will of man but of God and the Word was made flesh and dwelt Among Us first chapter of John he preaches what the gospel Jesus the word John the Baptist go to Luke chapter 3 y'all okay with this I know I may seem a little odd today but I'm I'm I'm so highly perturbed right now I'm actually just trying to hold myself back a little bit but I want to show you what John the Baptist preached here let's go to Luke 3 verse one now in the 15th year of the reign of tiberious Caesar Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea and Herod being the Tetro of Galilee and his brother Philip the Tetro of Uria is said in the region of trachonitis uh and elitis or whatever the T the Tetra of abalene Annis and cafas being high priest uh the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness and he came into all the country about Jordan preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins somebody say repentance for the remission of sins rep for remission as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet saying the voice of one crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord make his path straight and every Valley shall be filled and every mountain and Hill shall be brought low
and the Crooked shall be made straight and the rough way shall be made smooth and All Flesh shall see the salvation of God then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized him oh Generation of Vipers who hath warned you to flee from the Wrath to come bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance and begin not to say within yourselves we have Abraham to Our Father for I say unto you that God is able of these stones to raise up children children unto Abraham and now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is heun or cut down and cast Into the Fire and the people ask him saying what shall we do see there was such an anointing on the preaching of John the Baptist that people cried out what do we have to do and what did he tell them just go to church just believe he said he answered and said unto them he that haveth two coats let him impart to him that hath none and he that has meat let him do likewise then came also the publicans the tax collectors to be baptized and said Master what shall we do and he said unto them exact or take no more than that which is appointed to you quit overcharging people quit stealing from people to make yourselves rich and the soldiers likewise demanded of him and say what shall we do now these soldiers are Roman soldiers brutal Roman soldiers what shall we do that's called conviction Holy Ghost conviction and he said unto them do violence to no man neither accuse any falsely and be content with your wages and the people were in expectation and all men mused in their hearts of John whether he were the Christ or not and John answered and saying unto them all I I indeed baptize you with water but one mightier than I cometh the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose and he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire whose fan is in his hand he will thoroughly Purge his floor he will gather the wheat into his Garner and the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable and with many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people so John preached until what they put him in prison and cut off his head and Jesus said about this man there's no greater Prophet than John the Baptist he did no Miracle think about that Matthew 11
Matthew 11 go down to verse oh let's just read it here verse 7 and as they departed Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John what went you out in the wilderness to see a reed shaken with the wind but what went you out for to see a man clothed in soft reignment behold they that wear soft clothing are in King's houses but what went ye out for to see a prophet yay I say unto you and more than a prophet for this is he of whom it is written behold I send my messenger before thy face which shall prepare thy way before thee verily I say unto you among them that are born of women there has not risen a great greater than John the Baptist notwithstanding he that is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he and from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force for all the prophets and the law prophesied until John and if ye will receive it this is Elijah which was for to come he that hath ears to hear Let Him hear now I could keep reading but I want to stop right there for a second just think about this the anointing of Elijah went from Elijah let's think about this to Elisha and then to John the Baptist because the Bible said that that the angel told Mary he's going to come forth in the spirit and power of Elijah now let's read this verse 20 then began he that is Jesus to upgrade the cities that means to rebuke the cities wherein most most of his mighty Works were done because they repented not everybody see that can I tell you right now that Miracles don't make people repent I've seen it when I pastored a church in Montgomery that I planted in 1995 I've told the story of a woman that went to our church godly woman filled with the Holy Spirit God used her in Prophecy and all kind of things her daughter was not walking with the Lord got pregnant out of wedlock and about six months into her pregnancy after many fine and wonderful ultrasounds everything fine the baby just died in her womb they found no heartbeat they did several ultrasounds no heartbeat and actually said that the baby had started to basically fall apart in pieces and that they were saying it was time for her to get a DNC right and she called crying her eyeballs
out her mom and her and she was not living for the Lord at all not at all and I said well I said y'all it just happened to be Wednesday night we have going to have Wednesday night prayer our little prayer meeting I said tell her just bring her to prayer we'll pray for her and I remember we had maybe about 10 people there church was about 120 at that time we know only had 10 people showing up for prayer but I remember laying hands on her and praying that that baby would come to life that God would raise that baby up they would be a miracle creative Miracle of Resurrection and she went back to the doctor about a week later baby's fine heartbeat I could tell y'all stories like that all day but do you know she never set foot in our church again she knew it was a miracle her mother knew it was a miracle everybody in the church knew it was a miracle the doctors knew it was a miracle the ultrasound technician knew it was a miracle she never repented of her sin and as far as I know for years after that I never saw her again and even her mother quit coming to church now why do I say this because somebody in this church had the audacity to say behind my back and in front of other people that this church ought have more miracles in it there ought to be more Supernatural stuff happening there ought to be more this more that ain't that right David yeah you you will not talk see I ain't playing this crap did that in the Bible study y'all want to play games this ain't a game you want to try to undermine my authority as Pastor you want to try to talk down and talk negative you want to try to sew Division I ain't playing
this see what does it say go to Mark I mean not Mark but go to Romans 16 and just so y'all know that that's biblical what I just did we'll read Titus to just a second Romans 16 verse 17 he says now I beseech you Brethren mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them for they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ but their own belly and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple this is why you do not tolerate division in a church now I know some of you may have a problem with what I just did I got three words for you I don't care mark them avoid them what did Elisha do with gesi goodbye that joker went to the Bible study Friday night and disrupted the whole thing came in from the moment with contention and strife arguing about scripture that is clear putting forth things that were not true and then had the audacity to say to the people in the Bible study that that's just oh oh that you shouldn't even use the internet or the news or anything we should get off of that well but guess what I think I use the internet and the news so this guy was attacking how I do the ministry of this church and sewing that in the Bible study like I say if that's what you want to do find somewhere else to do it cuz I'm not going to tolerate it I find out you're so IND division in preaching things contrary to what I preach because listen I don't care you can have your own opinion keep them to yourself that's fine you can have all your own opinion and guess what you are totally free I am not holding you here I'm not chaining you to a seat we're not a cult I'm not trying to manipulate you force you in any way just be
here but if you are guess what I know Americans don't like to hear this but I'm going to say it in Fire and Grace Church fire and Grace School of ministry it's my way or the highway period I'm doing my best to try to follow the lord if you don't believe that then you need to find some other Pastor right don't start sewing negativity and Division behind my back and if you have a problem with me or with my wife or anyone that's in leadership that's doing the Bible studies Jordan s Pastor Troy anybody you have a problem with anybody that's in leadership or doing anything guess where you should come first before you start running your mouth publicly come tell me usually most of the time if you come talk to me we can get it worked out between the two of us or three of us or whoever needs to be there but when you are doing it behind my back two other people then what are you trying to do yeah and just like you know I mean I and just so y'all know the Bible says in the mouth of two or three Witnesses let every word be established so Jordan was at the Bible study Daniela s that's three Kamari and they all told me the same exact separately they all told me the exact same thing so I have four Witnesses of what happened there plus other problems I heard there was a blow up at somebody else's house with this not having it you want to know why the churches are so are so bad is because they let people like that stay and just keep doing it it's not going to be me there better be some repentance and just letting you guys know no no if he calls you say you know Pastor Dean said call him talk to him I'll deal with it he ain't talking to anybody else see this is why I tell people don't come here here unless God send you because it's probably not going to work out unless you know it's God and then even then because it's one thing to be one of our Distant Fire and church Grace members we love y'all but when y'all move in the house
it's a different story was that I mean fire and church distant member right what did I say church fire and Grace I swear my head's here in Fire and Grace in my head so that's what you called being tired huh yeah well Patrick said you're leaving out the Grace today no no there's a I mean it's just funny it is funny but it's sad but you know I'd rather not have to have these these issues you know I told my wife last night said why can't people just act right I mean I don't get it and I debated the whole time I was up last night praying I was this morning praying I said should I bust him Lord just in front of everybody and the Lord was like well he's been talking to people so you talk publicly you might as well get corrected publicly amen that wasn't Qui amen um let's go to let's go to Titus Titus was one of Paul's sons in the faith and Paul had sent him Titus to the island of cre to set the church in order to ordain Elders so who was in Authority in cre Titus right he says for this cause verse five for this cause I left thee INR that thou should as set in order the things that are wanting or lacking and ordain Elders in every city as I had appointed thee if any be blameless the husband of one wife having faithful children not accused of Riot or unruly for a bishop must be blameless as the steward of God not self-willed not soon angry not given to Wine no Striker not given to Filthy ler but a lover of host Hospitality a lover of Good Men sober just holy temperate holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught that he may be able by sound Doctrine both to exhort and convince the gainsayers as troublemakers for there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers especially they of the circumcision whose mouths Must Be Stopped who subvert
whole houses teaching things which they ought not for filthy lucer Sake One of themselves even a prophet of Their Own said the cretians are always Liars evil Beast slow bellies I love what Paul said this witness is true wherefore rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith not giving heed to Jewish fables and Commandments of men that turn from the truth also if you back up let's go back to 1 Timothy 5 y'all okay it is quiet but he tells them here real clearly what rebuke not an elder right but ENT treat him as a father this is where some of the stuff if things would be done right you wouldn't have these things now my wife and I were talking before service she said you know because I said I wish people would just come talk to me when something they have a issue right or they've misunderstood they have a problem between like y'all have a problem with another church member or something come talk to me it's not like I told Donnie I said he's worried about Donnie was worried about I don't want to be gossiping about people I said telling me as the pastor of the church is not gosp running behind my back if you were telling everybody else and not me that's gossiping I have to know I have to deal with the issues right so when you come tell me what's going on or maybe you've been offended by somebody or maybe I've offended maybe I offended you today I I don't know but bottom line if you have a problem come talk to me and my wife said but I said I wish they' come she said well you're scary sometimes they think I'm scary they and she said if they really knew me they know I'm very patient with people if you come talk to me but if I find out you're undermining me slandering me trying to sew division trying to sew those seeds in other people what do you think is going to happen if you were if if if this was a a business and I'm your boss guess what's gonna happen I do not have a problem firing people I'd be just like Trump you're fired right see sometimes the axe has to be laid to the root of the
tree and in fact there's scripture y'all uh I can't remember word it's in uh Jeremiah 51 he says Thou Art my battle ax you know when God called me to the ministry he use the book of Jeremiah and he told me the book of Jeremiah would be very personal to me but there's that verse where he says you are my battle axe folks I'm a battle axe I'm a beat up scarred up used battle axe but I still got a sharp edge I'm not a butter knife on the table all right now but that doesn't mean I don't love you I love this church I love y'all and you know what y'all get bragged on by people who come visit saying that this church is one of the most loving receiving people friendly I mean I hear that from visitors about you guys all the time and that's just that to me is one of the best things in the world and that's another reason why I'm not going to let Division and the undermining of the church's Authority just go on because I want to maintain a place in an atmosphere where people feel that they can grow and that they can learn and that they can have True Fellowship and true love for one another that's why Paul told them the churches maintain what the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace and sometimes you got some folks that want to sew something else I don't understand it but it happens in fact as I've been I've been reflecting over the last 16 years it started from the get-go and I think sometimes why does the devil so consistently want to try to come in here and divide and undermine this church obviously this little tiny Church in Alabama of all places is causing the devil problems or he wouldn't bother right I get emails all the time and say Pastor Dean thank you for preaching specifically directly clearly about the sin that was in my life see I know you have to throw the
stick in the water you got to have the cross got to have the wood ax isn't much use without a good handle to swing it with and back in my younger days I was really good with the big axe like I could hit the exact spot I wanted to hit say this with me I am a battle ax weapons of war for with thee will I break in pieces the Nations and with thee will I destroy kingdoms that's what we're about destroy Satan's kingdoms with the truth not kissing him on the cheek destroyed his works the works of darkness and God says he that SWS Discord among Brethren is an Abomination it is one of the things that he hates so I will take the AXS to the root amen and I will preach the cross of Jesus like John the Baptist until they come get me my man they took off his head isn't it interesting that the last days true faithful Christians it says are going to have their heads cut off oh here you go again Pastor D well believe it or not it's only 12:15 with all that excitement I love y'all and let me just say this what I love is too the Bible says that if you really really love the Lord and you love his word Psalm 119 it says that nothing will offend you and remember the love chapter 1 Corinthians 13 says what that if you are walking in love you're not easily offended right and this is what I've Loved about Jordan over the years you know Jord came here in 2018 he's a little rough around the edges right and newly saved and coming out of a rough life and a and so there was many times I had to rebuke and correct Jordan but what I love about Jordan was Jordan even though times I know I hurt his feelings he knew I loved him and I
accepted him and he didn't let that affect drive him away and he kept growing and now I'm telling you the truth I'm proud of the man he's [Applause] become and I say that about s Jeffrey amen don't let offense drive you away from what you need amen I remember Terry used to think she I was crazy as a loon Bobby would be listening to my sermons in the house she'd be [Music] like and now she's a Ministry School graduate and on fire and just you know and I couldn't be more happy what God's done just in y'all's marriage and your relationship because now those two walk in agreement they weren't in agreement when they first we first got to know them some of you came in here pre-trib Rapture people you got delivered from that ain't that right [Laughter] Gary but I do love y'all and as Paul told the churches he said it's not because I don't love you you know we live in a very dark and dangerous time the deceivers of many Christians will let themselves get influenced by evil spirits and let them talk through them and work through them and we can't ignore the problems or they won't be fixed so I hope y'all still love me I hope that I'm not too scary I promise you this if you come to me with a humble attitude and you want to talk to me about anything even if you disagree with me about about something it's fine just come talk to me if you have a problem with something my wife says or does go talk to her see this is really what we're supposed to do if your brother or sister offends you in some way or hurts you in some way or does something that just you don't think they should have done and you it's causing you to stumble or causing you to be upset go talk to them
amen and I know some of you say well Pastor ding shouldn't you have taken him aside personally no not when you do it publicly you do stuff publicly it can come upon you publicly right why John called out diophy Paul called out hus and [Music] felus Alexander the copper Smith he said did me much evil the Lord reward him for his Works he left out the grace there too with it didn't he and I want to say this too before we depart the Bible studies are going great Jordan's been doing a great job on Tuesday nights s Daniel has been doing a great job on Friday nights and just so you know just remind y'all I have given them that responsibility and that Authority Donnie too Donnie's been teaching when Jordan can't be there and Donnie's a graduate from the ministry school so let me tell you these guys I trust them I've put them in charge of these Bible studies because I trust them I know that they agree with our Doctrine in this church and this ministry and I know that they have the ability to deal with it and they dealt with it actually they dealt with it very patiently and the way they were supposed to and told me immediately but see it was really kind of came in challenging them challenging s Daniel's Authority and look I tell you what s how old are you now you just had 34 do you know that I was goodness I had been pastoring for almost 10 years by the time I was 34 yeah I mean actually planting a church and pastoring it and I want to tell you right now God is Anointed s and Donnie and Jordan and these guys to be five-fold ministers and God is going to use them and they're going to be the ones come your come here Jordan come here Donnie come here Craig sheer where's Danielle is she downstairs with but there's a point where I got to hand this to somebody else the Baton has to be passed to the Next
Generation we don't know when Jesus is coming for sure we can have an idea but we everybody that's tried to predict that has been wrong right but see these guys my wife come here babe yes don't look up at the ceiling and roll your eyes come here I wouldn't dare but see let me tell you something people have a problem with my wife being oh you hold that for a second with my wife being in the five-fold ministry but God called her long before I knew her I didn't call her to it but I'm going to tell you something what did Paul say he one of Paul's complaints in here he said I have nobody likeminded but God gave me somebody like-minded see let me tell y'all right now if I was gone she would know how to do things just the way I would want them done and these guys know how to do things they're learning now that doesn't take away anybody's individuality or special gifts and calling not trying to say that just saying that's way Paul passed the Baton to Timothy to Titus he knew the day would come that he would be gone at some point he would be a martyr so he had to train up this is what we're supposed to do amen and I believe that there's others of you that God's calling to the fivefold Min I forgot Kelsey but I won't make you get up Kelsey's definitely called to the as a minister of the gospel and soon I'm going to ordain some Elders in this church again we'll try for the third time you got to be tough man to be an elder um but you guys can go saying thank you and there's others this doesn't represent everybody and what God's doing Pastor Troy Pastor Troy has been Pastor Troy's been battle ax for a long [Laughter] time y Pastor D we're battle AXS we're a weapon of war and war is not always Pleasant is it no there's casualties of War sometime there's Friendly Fire yeah Friendly Fire still kill you won't it let's pray thank you Lord father thank you Lord I thank you I thank you for your power upon the
preaching of the cross your power that's upon your word the preaching and teaching of your word Lord we know the main thing you did you didn't just heal the sick and cast out demons and do Miracles Lord you would spend most of your time sitting down and teaching people the truth calling people to repentance going to eat with publicans and sinners to call them to repentance upsetting the religious crowd and their pride thank you Lord for your word thank you for the [Music] truth I ask you lord to bless your people here today those watching and listening that Lord the most you want that you want out of all of us no matter if we're leaders in the church or not you want humility and respect and Lord I Thank you that the people in this church have been able to handle the preaching and teaching of your word the rebuke correction discipline our students I thank you Lord that you're making disciples not just converts so Lord bless your people lead them into truth and the fullness of your spirit I pray this in Jesus name everybody said amen well you let's stand for a second let's I want to do the the spirit of The Sovereign Lord before we leave because that's what the Lord has anointed us to preach the gospel amen let's do [Music] it Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon you because he has anointed you to preach good news Spirit of the Sovereign God is upon you because he has anointed you to preach good news [Music] he has sent you to the [Music]
