Thank you Lord. We worship you this morning. Father, right now I bind every demonic force. I bind every spirit of heaviness and oppression. I bind every demon spirit of witchcraft, divination. I bind every spirit sent against us today. We bind every demon spirit of distraction. We bind every demon spirit again of heaviness and oppression. We break it off and rebuke it and command it to go from this place right now in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray today, Lord, that God, you would just move in our hearts and reveal
all the things, Lord, that are there in our hearts that need to be dealt with, all the idols that need to be torn down. Lord, every single bit of it. Lord, we pray for your anointing to destroy every yoke of the devil. For we know the enemy is not happy with our church and what goes forth from this place and what we're doing. So Lord, we take authority over him right now. I bind Satan, principalities and powers of the air over this region. The demons sin against us. The fallen angels sin. We bind you, rebuke you and command you to go from us in Jesus' name. We break every curse, every spell, every incantation, every negative word spoken. We break it off in Jesus name. Lord, we resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He must flee from us. Thank you. And we thank you for that, Lord. We thank you for that. God, I pray today, your kingdom come, your will be done in earth as it is in heaven, in this place. And Lord, to those that are watching and listening. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Thank y'all. Praise the Lord. Go ahead and give the Lord praise. You know, I don't know about y'all, it seems to be a bit of heaviness in here this morning. And it seems to be um I don't know, just seems to be oddly heavy this morning. So, that's why I prayed against all that. Um, but I hope you guys have your Bibles and you're ready to go. I went back and forth today. I had so many aspects of this as we talk about the conditions, the possibilities, the things that go on in our hearts. And uh Christians don't like to acknowledge some of the things like we talked about the idol of self that also begins to operate in the sin of envy and jealousy last week. And as uh the author Bob Sorgay said about it, he said it's the most common basically the most common sin that nobody has in their life. Right. Not me. Well, it's usually a lot of the times I I tell you, Christians are, how do I put it? They're they're uh really really good at denial. Um I'm not sick and you're about to die, you know, but just just stupid stuff like this all the time, right?
Um, but we're going to do part three today. And I've decided that we're going to uh we're going to talk about the hardened heart here. And this is what's wild is is that the the term hardened heart can be used for the unsaved person and the saved person. You could be born again, love Jesus, say, "I believe the Bible from cover to cover, and end up letting your heart become hardened to the Lord." And before you know it, you're living like an unbeliever because you make up your mind about things in your heart. But let's let's look at this. this. I want you to go first to Ezekiel chapter 8. But I had three things rolling around in my my heart. Uh either the pure heart, the depraved heart, or the hardened heart. But I think we need to start with the understand the hardened heart. But before that, I want want to just delve back into this. And y'all could put the title up there and the subtitle. You can show them. What' I just say? Ezekiel 8. Ezekiel 8. Now, in talking about the heart, it's interesting, as I've said before, that the heart of man is where both your spirit and soul kind of meet together. Your spirit's different. your then your soul completely different uh your spirit is where you have the where basically where God breathed in Adam. So the breathing in Adam, God breathed his spirit into us, gave us a spirit and it says Adam became a living soul. The soul part of Adam is his consciousness. So just like how you can have people that are in a coma, right? They are alive spiritually and physically. They're alive, but they're not conscious of it. So, you could look at your spirit as the actual life of God that came in to give mankind, mankind life, right? The soul though is what he made you as an individual. your unique personality, intellect, thoughts, feelings, gifts, talents, weaknesses, everything that's in there. Right? Now, of course, when Adam and Eve sinned is when the weaknesses came into the soul. God didn't create us that way. Um, but the soul or the heart of man is where these long conversations go on
that nobody knows about, nobody sees, nobody hears. It's called the secrets of men's hearts, right? Deep down. Now, just because your heart speaks to you certain things does not mean it's telling you the truth. Remember that. Go ahead and put up our main verse again. Jeremiah 17, oh, what is it? Verse nine. Yes, nine and 10. Um, and this is going to be an ongoing thing. I think the Lord, when I was praying about it this week, it just keeps getting deeper about the heart being deceitful. Um just because you having this ongoing conversation within yourself, everybody does. It's not just crazy people. Okay? If you if you say you don't, then you're a liar because it's impossible because both the carnal nature of your heart is constantly talking to you and it will deceive you. It will lie to you because it wants what it wants. So it will try to lie, steal, write a bad check, whatever it can do to get what it wants. Right? So this is why you can't what? Trust your heart. Your own heart, right? And this is what I've been talking about for weeks. But you know, of course, what I showed you last week all the songs, follow your heart, trust your heart. No, he that trusts his own heart is a fool. what the Bible says, Proverbs. Right? But let's read it again before we go. For the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? Um, and I guess I'm going to try to explain this, but go to Ezekiel 8 now, and we'll go to verse one. And he says, ' And it came to pass in the sixth year and the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord fell there upon me. And then I beheld in lokeness, as the appearance of fire, from the appearance of his loins, even downward fire, and from his loins, even upward the appearance of brightness and the color of amber. Now, if we go to Revelation 1, we find out this is Jesus that's appearing to him. It says, "And he put forth the form of a hand, and he took me by the lock of my head, and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem to the door of the inner gate that looked toward the north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy." So, you got to remember Ezekiel was in Babylon. Uh he was a prophet there, but there were still remnants of people still in Jerusalem at this point.
And the Lord actually takes him out of his body, his spirit out of his body, and takes him to Jerusalem. So, I'm going to show you what's going on here. I'm going to show you the secret sins, the things hidden that the elders of my people are doing. So, you're going to understand why you're in this predicament that you're in and why this judgment is going to last 70 years. Notice I didn't say seven. 70 years. That's that's a whole generation right there, right? He goes on, let's keep going. So the Lord takes him and he to where the seat of the image of jealousy is. Now they had an idol set up in the area of the where the temple was. And it says, "And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there according to the vision that I saw in the plain. And he said unto me, son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north." So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. And he said furthermore unto me, son of man, seeest thou what they do, even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary, but turn ye yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. And he brought me to the door of the court, and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall. And he said unto me, "Son of man, now dig now in the wall." And when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. And he said unto me, "Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here." So I went in and saw, and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beast, and all the idols of the house of Israel portrayed upon the wall round about. And there stood before them 70 men of the ancients of the house of Israel. And in the midst of them stood Jesaniah the son of Chaen with every man his sensor in his hand. And a thick cloud of incense went up. And he said he said unto me, "Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark? Every man in the chambers of his imagery." Now remember that. For they say, now he's talking about what they saying to themselves deep in their hearts while they're doing this sin of idolatry in this paganism within the temple. He says, they say in their hearts, "The Lord seeth us not. The Lord hath forsaken the earth." Now, these are lies, right? Just remember that deep in the deep chambers of your heart where imaginations and thoughts arise that are wicked and deceitful from our carnal nature. Just remember that they are always there to make excuses, justifications,
to make you believe things that are not true so you will act in a certain way. And here's what's bad. When you put yourself, when you use your soul, your mind, will, and emotions, your intellect to be in agreement with any of those excuses or lies or deceptions. That is the moment that you have given into sin. That is the moment that you have opened the door. Remember it says, see, I I believe this about Judas. Judas Judas was called by Jesus. He was anointed by Jesus. He went out with the 12. He went out with when the 70 went out as well. They went out and healed the sick and cast out demons in the name of Jesus. Judas got to operate in everything that the other 11 got to operate in. Why did he betray the Lord? Do you think that that was the plan from the get-go? or was this something that evolved from the deep recesses of his own heart? See, I personally believe that the problem with Judas was not that he didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah. It was not that he didn't love Jesus, but he loved something else more. He had his own agenda that he wanted Jesus to bless, that he wanted Jesus to do. Oh, if y'all don't get this, you understand. Most of the time what people are doing even in the kingdom of God is for their own agenda. They're doing their plan in the ministry and they just want God to bless it so that they look successful. And that's idolatry. It's the deepest, darkest idolatry that can be because it hides itself in those noble intentions. Right? And see, the only way the only way you end up doing what Judas did was you have to keep allowing that agenda to speak and the excuses and the justifications. Well, if I go go turn him into the high priest, well, I got the best of both worlds. I'm going to get me 30 pieces of silver, which I don't believe was the primary goal. But I'm going to force Jesus' hand. He's going to have to call down the legions of angels. He's going to have to show forth all of his power to set up his kingdom. Therefore, I will get the political victory that I want. See, he really wanted a political victory and did not understand the Lord's mission. Now, the other ones didn't understand the Lord's mission either, but they didn't have they weren't driven by this.
I've I've got to have an agenda, my own agenda done, and I got to have it done so bad. I'm willing to manipulate other people. See, what he was trying to do was manipulate the situation, manipulate Jesus to do what he wanted him to do. Remember when they came by force to make Jesus king after he healed everybody and fed everybody and it says a whole group went and they came and were going to take him by force and make him king. And Jesus, I how many human beings would have walked away from that? Oh, you're going to make me king. Let's do it, right? No. See, there's always a deep conversation going on deep down in you. And your job is to decipher and recognize if it's a lie, if it's deceit, if it's an excuse for sin. See, this is why the false doctrine that's taught so widely in the church world of once you're saved, you're always saved no matter how you live. The reason that that is so satanic and diabolical, it's because it gives you a theological excuse from authority figures to not hate sin, to not fear the Lord, to not fear the repercussions of living in sin. Right? This is why I've hated it. All these years I've walked with the Lord and alone. Once I read the Bible for myself and found out that 90% of the church role was teaching that error. I gave myself to preach against it. You understand? Because I know what it does. It gets deep in someone's heart and it says, "Well, if my sins are forgiven, past, present, and future, like the famous Charles Stanley from First Baptist Atlanta has taught for years and years and years and years. My sins are automatically then what does it matter if I commit adultery? God will forgive me. What does it matter if I, you know, molest a child? What does it matter? My sins are forgiven, right?" And these are people who don't know the Bible. and they don't have the fear of the Lord. And therefore, because they have let these things in their heart that agrees with the lies and the deceit and the wickedness of the heart. See, the devil will always come in and agree with the carnal wicked side of your heart. And if any two of you agree, you shall have it. This is why you cannot agree even with your own heart. And the only way you know what is a lie, what is deceit, what is an excuse, you have to know the Bible.
And you have to accept that the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God. And that the Bible is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. and that God's God's voice through the scriptures will cut through and expose that liar that's in you. Everybody say, "I got a liar in me." See, a lot of us like to blame the devil. No, you got it living in you because it got passed on to us from Adam and Eve. I know there are people out there that don't believe in the sin nature. I do. I'm sorry. have lived this Christian life too long to not know there's a sin nature still with us even as born again Christians. I think I thank God there will be a day amen when this corruptible body puts on incorruption when this mortal body puts on immortality. We and I finally am one with Jesus completely and have the full mind of Christ. So I have will have no need. It will be no room for the carnal nature anymore. There'll be no room for it. You see, Jesus has won the victory for us. But it all has not yet been applied into our lives. It's a progression. You understand? That's why he says in 1 John 19, if we confess our sins, he is faithful to if if Well, wait a minute. Now, if it's all automatic, I'm saved. Once saved, always saved forever. Why would I need to confess a sin? What would be the point? You see, and that's just one scripture to make you go, "Well, well, I'm sorry, Joseph Prince. You're wrong. I don't care how much your haircut cost." I did. His haircut costs more than some people's automobiles. I think, but he talks about let's let's go back to this in in Ezekiel real quick. Verse 11, he says, "And there stood before them 70 of the ancients of the house of Israel. In the midst of them stood Jezaniah, the son of Chaen with every man his sensor at his hand." You remember when uh Aaron's sons Nadab and Abahu did this when they weren't supposed to? Uhhuh. The Lord killed them immediately. These guys got got some mercy, some patience, but eventually the angel of the Lord came to kill them, too. He said, "Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of do of Israel do in the dark?
Every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, "The Lord seeth us not. The Lord hath forsaken the earth." And he said unto me, "Turn to thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do." Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house, which was toward the north, and behold, there set women weeping for Tamas. So they were allowing that to go on there. Then he said unto me, "Hast thou seen this, oh son of man? Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. And be brought me to the inner court of the Lord's house. And behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were five and 20 men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces were toward the east, and they worshiped the sun toward the east. And the Lord said unto me, "Hast thou seen this, oh son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence. They have returned to provoke me to anger. And lo, they put the branch to the nose. Therefore will I deal, he says, I will also deal in fury. My eyes shall not spare, neither shall I have pity, though they cry in my ears with a loud voice. He says, yet will I not hear them. See, what you do in the secret chambers of your heart, how you handle all that is what you're going to do in your life. Remember Jes said, "From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh." Well, I'm going to add this. From the abundance of the heart, the body acteth. What you meditate on is what you will do. This is why these guys like Ted Bundy, right, meditated on, constantly meditated on the worst of the worst of pornography, even the snuff film where people were killed in the midst of being filmed in pornographic. So, horrible, horrible violence. Now, if you hear Ted Bundy's testimony about it, now he may have been involved with the government. We don't know. I don't know. But his testimony out of his mouth when he was in prison was that he lived in a Christian home. He was not abused. He had a great upbringing. But that it was pornography that led him to more and more and more wickedness until he was kidnapping and raping and killing women. Right? So if we just take his testimony, what we hear is I kept meditating on evil. I kept watching the images of my heart were horrible perversion, death, torture, suffering.
But because he got pleasure of that out of that in his secret chambers of his heart and because that became the abundance of his heart, he had to act out what he had been watching. That's why child pornography is so bad. The people who get into child pornography will abuse children eventually. No such thing as, "Oh, I just watch it." No, no. Not only is that illegal, immoral, wicked, but if you keep doing it, you will harm a child. It's that simple. See, Satan, the society he's created, the cultures he's created, and your own deceitful, wicked heart will drag you down to hell if you let it. Notice what I said, if you let it. Okay? This is why it's so important for you to put the word of God in your heart. You got no there's I don't care how much willpower you got. I don't care about AA, NA, all these other things. Yes, they've helped people, but that is using sheer willpower. And why most of them end up going back to the alcohol or the drugs or the sexual addictions is because they don't have Jesus. They don't take the word of God. Oh, just believe in a higher power. No, no, no, no, no. You better know what higher power it is because there are higher powers. All right. And then there's the highest power. And if you fooling around with the one that's not the highest, that's why they go back. Jesus is the highest power, the name above every name, the creator. And he gives us power to use his name and his authority if we surrender to it. Remember the ones that tried to use the sons of right. We adjure thee demon by Jesus whom Paul preaches. Oh really? The demons I would have loved to been there that day. Oh really? Because I it didn't sound like that because demons when they talk to people usually just sound terrifying. Right. Jesus, I know, they said. Paul, I know, but who are you? Basically, who do you think you are to try to use the name of Jesus? You have no right to it.
Somebody, y'all sound like Episcopals in here. I could have heard pin drop on the carpet. Let's go to Let's go to another place. I have so much I really I'm trying to shorten this. Go with me to um Hebrews chapter 3. Hebrews 3. So quiet in here. Are y'all? I would never know it. All right. Hebrews 3, start at verse one. He says, we we got to establish who he's talking to. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of heavenly calling. What? Who? Who's he talking to? Unsaved people. Christians, right? Calls them holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling. That's not an unsaved person. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our profession or our confession, our faith, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man is counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in as much as he who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house. For every house is builded by some man, but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house as a servant for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after. But Christ as a son over his house or his own house. Whose house are we? If somebody say if. Jordan, where are you man? If. Right. But Christ has a son over his own house. Whose house are we? If we hold fast the confidence and rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore, as the Holy Ghost saith today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. It as in the provocation in the day of temptation in the wilderness, when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works 40 years. Wherefore or why was I grieved with that generation and said they do always heir where? In their hearts. They have not known my ways. So I swear in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest. Verse 12. Take heed, brethren,
lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end. I'm going to stop right there for a sec. Do y'all hear that? Who's he talking to? Christians. And he's saying to them, "Beware. You can be holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, part of Christ's house in the body of Christ, because you were born again through faith and repentance. But you can be what? Hardened through what does he say? the deceitfulness of sin. Those little stories it tells you. See what those guys say? They were saying in their hearts, "Oh, the Lord's forsaken the earth. He doesn't see what we're doing." Lies, lies, lies. Oh, how about this one? You know this is the devil talking down in you or your deceived heart talking. One of the two. If you hear this word about some about sin, oh, it's not that bad. It's not that bad. Go ahead. You'll be all right. No, you won't. That's the same thing he said to Eve. Go ahead and eat that tree right there. It'll Everything will be fine. You'll be You'll be okay. No, you won't. And I was going back to let me go back to Judas for a second. What's interesting about him is that the devil did not enter him until the last supper. Wait a minute. I thought he was the devil the whole time. No, he was human the whole time. Y'all don't shout me down. I'm preaching good now. But when the decision was made to follow through with the plan, the purpose of the heart, then Satan entered in. And that's the moment Jesus said, "What you do, do quickly and he went." See, here's what some If you meditate on something long enough, if you listen to the lies in your heart long enough, you're going to open the door wide open for the demons, for the devil. And when you do that, at that moment, you could be sitting next to Jesus.
You could just be eating dinner with you could just dip your bread in the same dish with Jesus. You will not be able to stop yourself by going. You will run to your sin. Oh, the heart is deceitful. And Jesus kept warning them, "One of you is going to betray me." That very night. Think about it. That very night, Judas knew about what was going on in his own heart. He knew about the plan. He'd already been to see the high priest. Can you imagine Jesus saying, "What if you was going to betray me and you're the one planning the mission?" But what did he do? He justified it in his heart because he said, "What? Oh, everything will be okay because Jesus will just take over. or he'll use his power and and he'll deliver himself. And that's why I believe when he saw that Jesus was not going to resist but allow himself to be beaten and crucified, condemned, he went and hanged himself. Do you think a man with an agenda like that wanted to commit suicide? No. Let me tell you why people commit suicide. Is when the idol of their heart finally lets them down. it doesn't work out anymore. And when something's in there that important to you and it's not Jesus, where do you have to go? But suicide because you were living for that agenda and wanted to use Jesus as a way to meet your own agenda. There's a lot of people that go to church every Sunday, but they're just trying to use Jesus to bless their business or fix their marriage or fix their kids or get their kid off of drugs. I think a lot of times the reason the Lord does not answer prayer and he doesn't do things for us is because that's the only reason we're there. And that's why he rebuked the cities of of Capernaum, what was it? Bethadia and the others. And he said, "If the miracles that were done in your cities had been done in Sodom and Gomorra, they would have remained to this day. They would have repented long ago." He said, "But you saw all these miracles. You heard me preach to you and you you didn't repent." Think about that. You can see Every miracle Jesus has ever done, you can see it, believe it, know it's true,
and still end up betraying for 30 pieces of silver because you had an agenda. There are no agendas. The only agenda you better have with the Lord is crucify my flesh. Why he tells us to pray? Why? When Jesus taught us to pray, Lord, what? Not my will be done, but yours. See, that's the only way you make it. Deny yourself. take up your cross and follow Jesus. You don't get to say, "I'm taking up my cross and going where I want to." All the Lord knows I want to be a football player. Maybe he didn't want you to be a football player. All the Lord knows I want to be a medical doctor. Maybe he didn't want you to be a medical doctor. And let me tell you something. If the Lord has told you, I want you to go preach my word. I want you to become a pastor. And he said, "No, I'm going to become a medical doctor." You're just as wicked as the pedophile, the adulterer, the fornicator because you just signed the eternal death warrants of the people you supposed to reach and you just walked away with blood on your hands for eternity. You don't get to pick. You are not your own. You are bought with a price. 1:00:021 hour, 2 secondsThat's why he says, "Today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." 1:00:111 hour, 11 secondsAre you listening to what he has said for you to do, what he's saying for you to do? 1:00:181 hour, 18 secondsBut I go to church, Pastor Dean. I don't care. 1:00:231 hour, 23 secondsSo, you know, a lot of people go to church every Sunday. They're going to bust hell wide open. 1:00:311 hour, 31 secondsthe ground might as well just open up. 1:00:361 hour, 36 secondsI've told y'all the story. I was preaching in a church one time and I knew there was like these four single people, two men, two women sitting 1:00:441 hour, 44 secondstogether right in the middle and I knew they were in fornication. And as I'm preaching, I start seeing the flames of hell coming 1:00:521 hour, 52 secondsup out of the floor enveloping just those four people. I told them so. 1:01:051 hour, 1 minute, 5 secondsThey were part of the Montgomery meat market of in churches just running from one singles group to the next so they could see who they could date. 1:01:201 hour, 1 minute, 20 secondsSee, Devil's Bermuda Triangle is not out in the Atlantic Ocean, y'all. 1:01:281 hour, 1 minute, 28 secondsIt's right here. 1:01:321 hour, 1 minute, 32 secondsSex, money, power. It's a little triangle. 1:01:411 hour, 1 minute, 41 secondsWatch it. I see you back there. 1:01:451 hour, 1 minute, 45 secondsThe only way to deny the voices of your own heart 1:01:521 hour, 1 minute, 52 secondsthat are trying to deceive you is to hear his voice. Amen. 1:01:591 hour, 1 minute, 59 secondsAnd that first comes by knowing this book. 1:02:031 hour, 2 minutes, 3 secondsSee, I know that adultery's wrong. Not just because 1:02:101 hour, 2 minutes, 10 secondsas a society for now for the, you know, we we have deemed it as wrong. 1:02:171 hour, 2 minutes, 17 secondsBut God said it was wrong. 1:02:201 hour, 2 minutes, 20 secondsAnd God said no adulterer will enter the kingdom of heaven. 1:02:251 hour, 2 minutes, 25 secondsAnd that means practicing adultery that has not confessed it as sin, repented of it, stopped doing it. 1:02:331 hour, 2 minutes, 33 secondsI know the Bible says for the single person, fornication, sex outside of marriage is a sin unto eternal 1:02:391 hour, 2 minutes, 39 secondsdamnation. That it's that simple. No fornicator will inherit the kingdom of God. No drunker, 1:02:481 hour, 2 minutes, 48 secondsno witch. Now, let me just say this right here. 1:02:551 hour, 2 minutes, 55 secondsA lot of you don't get it about rebellion is as a sin of witchcraft. 1:03:041 hour, 3 minutes, 4 secondsYou just don't get it. God's put authorities over you, spiritual authorities, children. He's put parents over you, grandparents. 1:03:181 hour, 3 minutes, 18 secondsWhen you disobey a direct command, a lawful, moral, direct order from an authority over you, you are rebelling. 1:03:301 hour, 3 minutes, 30 secondsAnd the Bible says rebellion is as or just like the sin of witchcraft. What does God say about witchcraft? It is an 1:03:391 hour, 3 minutes, 39 secondsabomination to him. He hates it, detests it. And witchcraft is listed in Galatians 5 in that list of s 1:03:481 hour, 3 minutes, 48 secondsfornication, adultery, drunkenness, witchcraft. 1:03:571 hour, 3 minutes, 57 secondsYou hear me? Teenagers, children who don't obey your parents, 1:04:041 hour, 4 minutes, 4 secondslittle witches, repent. 1:04:131 hour, 4 minutes, 13 secondsGod said in the Old Testament, "You better be glad." In the Old Testament, he said, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Meaning, 1:04:211 hour, 4 minutes, 21 secondsguess what? Rebellious children were stoned. 1:04:261 hour, 4 minutes, 26 secondsMost kids today would not make it back then under Moses. They would not make it. 1:04:331 hour, 4 minutes, 33 secondsEverybody gets all been out of shape about the the she bears that came out of the woods and killed those children where if you look up the word, it wasn't children. 1:04:431 hour, 4 minutes, 43 secondswas teenagers. And basically what it was a smart alec gang who was mocking a prophet. Well, guess what God said? You don't get to mock my prophet, you little snots. 1:05:021 hour, 5 minutes, 2 secondsThey were mocking his pretty bald head, too. Y'all be careful. 1:05:111 hour, 5 minutes, 11 secondscause some sheep bears out of the woods. 1:05:201 hour, 5 minutes, 20 secondsBut see the world system, they they read that story, they hear that story. Oh, how cruel God is. 1:05:261 hour, 5 minutes, 26 secondsYou ain't seen nothing yet, bud. 1:05:311 hour, 5 minutes, 31 secondsYou are going to stand before Almighty God. Give an account of yourself. 1:05:361 hour, 5 minutes, 36 secondsAnd if you have been wicked, the wrath of God will abide upon you for eternity. 1:05:491 hour, 5 minutes, 49 secondsAnd see, this is another issue here. 1:05:521 hour, 5 minutes, 52 secondsWhat is what is the hardened heart? What does it harden itself to? The fear of God, the respect of God. 1:06:031 hour, 6 minutes, 3 secondsGod asked him sometimes, "How was it you were not afraid to do that?" I look at this. So, some of us parents 1:06:111 hour, 6 minutes, 11 secondslook at our kids when they, you know, look at you, pick up a glass, drop it, and break it. I'm like, 1:06:191 hour, 6 minutes, 19 seconds"How was it that you were not afraid to do that right in front of me like a cat? 1:06:281 hour, 6 minutes, 28 secondsI will take you to the the restaurants that like you. 1:06:351 hour, 6 minutes, 35 secondsNotice how careful I was there. I want to show you something else. 1:06:471 hour, 6 minutes, 47 secondsVerse 12, let's go back to this. He said, "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living 1:06:561 hour, 6 minutes, 56 secondsGod. But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of 1:07:031 hour, 7 minutes, 3 secondssin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." Does 1:07:121 hour, 7 minutes, 12 secondsany of that sound like you are once saved, always saved, no matter how you live? 1:07:171 hour, 7 minutes, 17 secondsDoes it not clearly say, "Take heed that you don't let your heart cause you to 1:07:241 hour, 7 minutes, 24 secondsdepart from the living God." 1:07:331 hour, 7 minutes, 33 secondsI got one Lutheran nod back there. Did y'all get that? 1:07:391 hour, 7 minutes, 39 secondsTake heed, brother. What does take heed mean? It's up to you to be aware, to be to pay attention, to not let your 1:07:481 hour, 7 minutes, 48 secondswicked, deceitful heart begin to lead your life. 1:07:561 hour, 7 minutes, 56 secondsBecause either you're letting your heart lead your life or you are letting the voice of the Lord, the word of the Lord, lead your life. 1:08:071 hour, 8 minutes, 7 secondsAnd I assure you, somebody that's being led by the Lord, you will watch them give up stuff. 1:08:151 hour, 8 minutes, 15 secondsYou will watch them walk away from bad situations that they feel tempted in. 1:08:221 hour, 8 minutes, 22 secondsYou will watch them fight this fight. 1:08:261 hour, 8 minutes, 26 secondsSee, too many people, Christians have made peace with sin. 1:08:331 hour, 8 minutes, 33 secondsThey're not at war with it. They've made peace with it. There is no peace. 1:08:411 hour, 8 minutes, 41 secondsYou are in a battle until Jesus returns or you die and go be with him. You are in a war for your eternal life. 1:08:521 hour, 8 minutes, 52 secondsAnd it will be that way. I don't care how holy and how spiritual or pious or whatever you think you are. 1:09:001 hour, 9 minutesYou are in a war for your eternal soul. 1:09:031 hour, 9 minutes, 3 secondsPeriod. End of discussion. heaven or hell, you are in a war over that. 1:09:141 hour, 9 minutes, 14 secondsAnd isn't it amazing that God calls us to try to help other people while we're fighting the same battle? 1:09:241 hour, 9 minutes, 24 secondsBut isn't that what happens? 1:09:271 hour, 9 minutes, 27 secondsSoldiers are in the same fight, but they help each other, right? 1:09:411 hour, 9 minutes, 41 secondsLet me show you something. Go to Mark 6. 1:09:591 hour, 9 minutes, 59 secondsMark 6. 1:10:151 hour, 10 minutes, 15 secondsverse 45. Let's read. Straight way he constrained his disciples to get into the ship and go to the other side before into Bethadia while he sent away the 1:10:241 hour, 10 minutes, 24 secondspeople. And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray. And when evening was come, the ship was in 1:10:311 hour, 10 minutes, 31 secondsthe midst of the sea, and alone, and he alone on the land. And he saw them toiling and rowing, and the wind was contrary to them. And about the fourth 1:10:381 hour, 10 minutes, 38 secondswatch of the night, he cometh unto them walking upon the sea, and he would have passed by them. I love this. He was just going to cruise on by them. 1:10:481 hour, 10 minutes, 48 secondsBut when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out, for they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them and said, "Be of good cheer. 1:10:581 hour, 10 minutes, 58 secondsIt is I. Be not afraid." And he went into up unto them into the ship, and the wind ceased. And they were so amazed in 1:11:071 hour, 11 minutes, 7 secondsthemselves beyond measure, and wondered, for they considered not the miracle of the loaves, for their heart was hardened. 1:11:161 hour, 11 minutes, 16 secondsSee, this is another sign that your heart is getting hardened and dry. 1:11:241 hour, 11 minutes, 24 secondsThese guys had seen all the miracles. 1:11:271 hour, 11 minutes, 27 secondsThey just saw him feed the 5,000 and the baskets left over. 1:11:351 hour, 11 minutes, 35 secondsAnd they're worrying about a storm. 1:11:401 hour, 11 minutes, 40 secondsAnd it says that they what? Why were they like this? They considered not the miracle of the loaves. Their heart was 1:11:471 hour, 11 minutes, 47 secondshardened. Here's what happens. If you don't keep your heart and mind on what God has done for you, 1:11:571 hour, 11 minutes, 57 secondsif you're not thankful, if you're not focused on that, if you don't remind yourself, 1:12:071 hour, 12 minutes, 7 secondsand I've seen God do this and this and this and this. What is this storm? Why am I worried about this storm? 1:12:151 hour, 12 minutes, 15 secondsAnd if Jesus said, "We're going to the other side." Do I believe we're going to make it to the other side? 1:12:261 hour, 12 minutes, 26 secondsRemember when the guy came up and said, "Lord, just speak the word and my servant will be healed." Remember that? 1:12:321 hour, 12 minutes, 32 secondsDon't you don't you're not even don't don't even bother coming to my house, Lord. 1:12:381 hour, 12 minutes, 38 secondsJust speak the word. And Jesus marveled. He said, "Well, this guy gets it. 1:12:461 hour, 12 minutes, 46 secondsThis guy gets it. 1:12:511 hour, 12 minutes, 51 secondsYour heart can become hardened in the midst of a revival. 1:12:591 hour, 12 minutes, 59 secondsYou can see so many salvations, healings, miracles. 1:13:041 hour, 13 minutes, 4 secondsAnd don't think because see don't think for a second that seeing all that makes you any more spiritual than you are any more mature than you are. 1:13:141 hour, 13 minutes, 14 secondsI've I've been in multiple revivals. The Brownsville revival. I've been in Pentecostal revival meetings that went on for months and weeks. 1:13:251 hour, 13 minutes, 25 secondsThe power of God falling. 1:13:311 hour, 13 minutes, 31 secondsAnd you'll see people falling away in the midst of revival. 1:13:381 hour, 13 minutes, 38 secondsA lot of people got baptized on those Friday nights at Brownsville testified of coming out of drugs and alcohol and everything else. 1:13:481 hour, 13 minutes, 48 secondsFew months later, you can't find them. Where are they? Right back. 1:13:591 hour, 13 minutes, 59 secondsI've seen people healed. I've seen God do some dramatic miracles only to see the people go right back out the door 1:14:081 hour, 14 minutes, 8 secondsback to their sin again. Because you know what? A lot of times the miracle we need or we want, 1:14:151 hour, 14 minutes, 15 secondsit's really just to relieve our flesh, to relieve our suffering, to 1:14:231 hour, 14 minutes, 23 secondsrelieve our anxiety, to relieve our fears, to relieve our stress, whatever it may be. We want Jesus to make stuff better. 1:14:321 hour, 14 minutes, 32 secondsWe don't want him to be Lord of our lives. 1:14:421 hour, 14 minutes, 42 secondsAnd you can get hardened. I mean, this wasn't talking about even the 70 or the multitudes. This was the 12. Their 1:14:511 hour, 14 minutes, 51 secondshearts were hardening because they were starting to take for 1:14:571 hour, 14 minutes, 57 secondsgranted. Just as they were around the revival that somehow their own hearts would not deceive them. 1:15:071 hour, 15 minutes, 7 secondsThis is why this series is so important to you. 1:15:151 hour, 15 minutes, 15 secondsIn fact, I know that leaders of great revivals have admitted that during revival when God is moving is when they 1:15:211 hour, 15 minutes, 21 secondsget attacked the hardest that their flesh rises up. Their heart and mind is afflicted. 1:15:301 hour, 15 minutes, 30 secondsThey are wrestling with everything they have to not slip up and fall away. 1:15:411 hour, 15 minutes, 41 secondsSee, if you go to 1st Samuel 27, this is what's interesting. 1:15:481 hour, 15 minutes, 48 secondsSomebody say, "I'm tired." Be careful with that. 1:15:581 hour, 15 minutes, 58 secondsI'll tell you why. 1:16:021 hour, 16 minutes, 2 secondsDavid had been in a trial of his faith for anywhere from 10 to 12 years 1:16:101 hour, 16 minutes, 10 secondsof running from one cave to the next. He had the word I'm will you're going to be king of Israel. 1:16:201 hour, 16 minutes, 20 secondsBut he's running from Saul. Running from Saul. Running from Saul. Running from Saul. 1:16:261 hour, 16 minutes, 26 secondsAnd some of you out there, you've been in you've been in a trial for a long time. You've been praying for years. your kids still aren't saved. 1:16:361 hour, 16 minutes, 36 secondsIn fact, they turned against you. 1:16:391 hour, 16 minutes, 39 secondsYou could go down the list. Trials sometimes last for years. But notice this. 1:16:481 hour, 16 minutes, 48 seconds1st Samuel 27:1. 1:16:541 hour, 16 minutes, 54 secondsDavid said in his heart, "I shall now perish one day at the hand of Saul. 1:17:011 hour, 17 minutes, 1 secondThere is nothing better for me that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines, and Saul shall despair 1:17:081 hour, 17 minutes, 8 secondsof me to seek me anymore in any coast of Israel. So shall I escape out of his hand. 1:17:151 hour, 17 minutes, 15 secondsNone of that was God's plan. David was tired. 1:17:231 hour, 17 minutes, 23 secondsHe was tired of running. 1:17:261 hour, 17 minutes, 26 secondsHe was tired of the difficulty. He was tired of the trial. 1:17:291 hour, 17 minutes, 29 secondsSo he came up with his own plan. We said one of the things that it says about the heart is where plans and purposes are made. 1:17:391 hour, 17 minutes, 39 secondsRight? And this is what a lot of people do when they are tired, discouraged, weak, 1:17:471 hour, 17 minutes, 47 secondsmaybe they've been hurt one too many times. 1:17:541 hour, 17 minutes, 54 secondsThey say things in their heart. They make declarations. I'm not going to let this happen again. 1:18:061 hour, 18 minutes, 6 secondsI remember when I went through my previous life, the divorce, all the pain it brought, all the pain it brought to 1:18:131 hour, 18 minutes, 13 secondsmy children at the time, all the destruction that it brought to church and ministry and everything else. 1:18:211 hour, 18 minutes, 21 secondsI remember saying in my heart, I am never doing this again. 1:18:261 hour, 18 minutes, 26 secondsI'm never getting married again. having children again. Why? Cuz it hurt so much. 1:18:371 hour, 18 minutes, 37 secondsAnd yet we know something happened. 1:18:441 hour, 18 minutes, 44 secondsI did get married again and I did have another child and God has restored to me everything 1:18:521 hour, 18 minutes, 52 secondsthat I lost back then better than it was. 1:18:591 hour, 18 minutes, 59 secondsBut it didn't take away the painful process. 1:19:071 hour, 19 minutes, 7 secondsAnd you got to be really careful about making declarations like this. 1:19:131 hour, 19 minutes, 13 secondsWell, here's what I'm going to do to protect myself during my time. Now, David, if if you 1:19:201 hour, 19 minutes, 20 secondskeep reading this, it says that he was in the land of the Philistines for 16 months, a year and four months, 1:19:291 hour, 19 minutes, 29 secondsand he joined with them and almost went to war against his own people. I mean, this was that that bad. But I remember during this time, I was so wounded and 1:19:371 hour, 19 minutes, 37 secondshurt by Christians and by other pastors and people. I didn't even want to set foot in a church. And guess what? I said in my heart, I'm done with these folks. 1:19:541 hour, 19 minutes, 54 secondsAnd you know what? I didn't go to church for a year. Didn't set foot in the door one. 1:20:031 hour, 20 minutes, 3 secondscouldn't stand the thought of going to a church service. And here I'd been a pre a pastor for years and a missionary and a church planter and an author. 1:20:211 hour, 20 minutes, 21 secondsI'm done with those Christian people. They're hypocrites. They're mean. They're nasty. There is no love. 1:20:291 hour, 20 minutes, 29 secondsThey believe the liars, the cheaters. Well, why should I even bother? 1:20:401 hour, 20 minutes, 40 secondsSo, I went and played poker for a year. Did pretty good, too. 1:20:461 hour, 20 minutes, 46 secondsBeluxy, Tuna, Vegas. Oh, I was everywhere. I played against professionals. 1:20:551 hour, 20 minutes, 55 secondsWas that where God wanted me? No. I was in the land of the Philistines. I can tell you right now, 1:21:041 hour, 21 minutes, 4 secondsbut it's because I was hurt. I was tired. I was angry. I was offended. 1:21:151 hour, 21 minutes, 15 secondsAnd all were legitimate. 1:21:211 hour, 21 minutes, 21 secondsBut be careful when you make declarations in your heart about this is what I'm going to do. 1:21:281 hour, 21 minutes, 28 secondsReally? Did God tell you to do that? 1:21:371 hour, 21 minutes, 37 secondsThis is what leads to affairs and drinking binges and relapses into drugs. You say, "Look, I 1:21:461 hour, 21 minutes, 46 secondscleaned up my life. I got I got free from the alcohol. I got free from the drugs. I got out of the sexual sin. My life is still you're going through a trial and it's and it's tough. And 1:21:541 hour, 21 minutes, 54 secondsyou're like, I look, Lord, I've repented. I've tried to do better. And it just seems like it's so hard. 1:22:031 hour, 22 minutes, 3 secondsAnd this is when you start making declarations like, "Well, I tried this Jesus thing, Lord. You know, I tried, but I can't do it. 1:22:241 hour, 22 minutes, 24 secondsDon't let your heart be hardened. 1:22:281 hour, 22 minutes, 28 secondsSee, divorces, one of the things Jesus said about divorces, he said, you know, yeah, Moses, the the Pharisees were arguing. They were saying, you 1:22:371 hour, 22 minutes, 37 secondsknow, Moses gave us a said, write a bill of divorcement so we have we can divorce whoever we want when we want. And she's 1:22:451 hour, 22 minutes, 45 secondslike, "Y'all don't even get it, do you?" He said, "From the beginning, this was 1:22:521 hour, 22 minutes, 52 secondsnot so." He said, "Moses was given this to give to you because of the hardness of your 1:23:011 hour, 23 minutes, 1 secondhearts." And see, what happens in a marriage a lot of times is that because we have to 1:23:081 hour, 23 minutes, 8 secondslive together and be the holy sandpaper to each other, right? 1:23:161 hour, 23 minutes, 16 secondsBut if we start letting hurts, offenses, anger, unforgiveness, if we let those things build up in 1:23:251 hour, 23 minutes, 25 secondsthere, eventually our heart starts to become hardened, callous, 1:23:321 hour, 23 minutes, 32 secondsloses feeling towards that person, right? 1:23:381 hour, 23 minutes, 38 secondsAnd the Lord doesn't say, "Oh, yeah, you can get divorced because your heart's hardened." 1:23:481 hour, 23 minutes, 48 secondsGot quiet in here. I don't know about out there, but it got quiet in here. 1:23:531 hour, 23 minutes, 53 secondsAnd you have to ask yourself constantly, have I let something in, unforgiveness? 1:24:001 hour, 24 minutesAm I still wrestling with a hurt from the past? Have I truly forgiven those that have hurt me? 1:24:071 hour, 24 minutes, 7 secondsmy spouse. Have I truly forgiven my spouse for that thing they said that hurt me or that thing they did? Have I truly forgiven? 1:24:161 hour, 24 minutes, 16 secondsBecause if not, your heart will begin to harden up toward them. 1:24:261 hour, 24 minutes, 26 secondsAnd then guess what? That's when you start getting prophetic words. 1:24:311 hour, 24 minutes, 31 secondsYeah. Ah, the Lord told me to leave my husband. No. Did he cheat on you? No. Do you beat on you? No. 1:24:381 hour, 24 minutes, 38 secondsYou don't have biblical grounds. Then guess what? Somebody's harder than their heart. Maybe both of you are. 1:24:471 hour, 24 minutes, 47 secondsThe answer is not to run find somebody else with a hard heart and hook up with them. 1:24:541 hour, 24 minutes, 54 secondsAnd listen guys, if you can't fix the woman you're with, how much makes you think you're going to fix another one? 1:25:001 hour, 25 minutesSame for you women. You think you're going to fix a man, change a man? You didn't change this one. What makes you think it'll change another one? No, it's you deal with you first. 1:25:101 hour, 25 minutes, 10 secondsAll marital problems, you want a simple counseling method, we don't need to counsel anymore, baby. This is it. Deal with you first and quit worrying about what they're doing. 1:25:211 hour, 25 minutes, 21 secondsCuz maybe what's what's being allowed to happen in your marriage is so you will deal with you. 1:25:341 hour, 25 minutes, 34 secondsWhat the little girl say? Worry about yourself, right? 1:25:391 hour, 25 minutes, 39 secondsTrust me, you got enough problems and deep down in your own heart, you're not fixing somebody else. And who are you think you can fix somebody else when you can't fix yourself? 1:25:561 hour, 25 minutes, 56 secondsWhere are we arrogant? Sometimes I look at counseling. My wife some we get some counseling. We got some counseling things we need to do like marital 1:26:051 hour, 26 minutes, 5 secondscounseling stuff for people that don't even attend our church physically here. 1:26:121 hour, 26 minutes, 12 secondsAnd I'm just like I I hear we we got wife telling us this story, husband telling us this story and like she and I are supposed to fix this somehow. 1:26:241 hour, 26 minutes, 24 secondsAnd I'm like, I don't. She's like, what do I tell them? I'm like, I don't know. 1:26:311 hour, 26 minutes, 31 secondsThey're both crazy as loons. 1:26:351 hour, 26 minutes, 35 secondsIf they would both repent and deal with their own selves, their marriage would be fine. I can't fix this mess. 1:26:451 hour, 26 minutes, 45 secondsCounseling is the biggest waste of time. 1:26:511 hour, 26 minutes, 51 secondsBecause you know what counseling is? Is somebody having to tell you to do what you already know you're supposed to do? 1:27:021 hour, 27 minutes, 2 secondsGolly, you didn't say those words in this church. 1:27:091 hour, 27 minutes, 9 secondsIf y'all didn't hear that, somebody said life coach. You need life. Oh, if anybody in this world has paid a life coach, you got scammed. 1:27:211 hour, 27 minutes, 21 secondsThat's the biggest scam running. Here's your life coach right here. 1:27:271 hour, 27 minutes, 27 secondsIf you would read this, study this, and put it in your heart and cry out to God to change you, 1:27:371 hour, 27 minutes, 37 secondsyou don't need a life coach. You need the Holy Ghost. Amen. Life coach. 1:27:521 hour, 27 minutes, 52 secondsCome on. You can do it. You can do it. 1:27:561 hour, 27 minutes, 56 secondsYeah, that's going to work. That's going to work. Right. You won't listen to the Holy Spirit what he has to say. But you need a life coach to sayeth it to you. 1:28:091 hour, 28 minutes, 9 secondsI'm going to go to one more passage. I'd better quit this. This one This one could go all day long. 1:28:161 hour, 28 minutes, 16 secondsBut go to 1 Corinthians 14 for a second. 1:28:231 hour, 28 minutes, 23 secondsAnd I'm going to tell you how I know that most of the so-called gift of prophecy that happens in churches today is not true prophecy. 1:28:311 hour, 28 minutes, 31 secondsLet me show you how I know it is. It's false. How you can know it's false? 1:28:401 hour, 28 minutes, 40 seconds1 Corinthians 14. We'll start reading verse 22. 1:28:471 hour, 28 minutes, 47 secondsHe says here, "Wherefore tongues are for a sign to them that believe, not but to them that believe uh I'm sorry, 1:28:551 hour, 28 minutes, 55 secondswherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not. But prophesying serveth not 1:29:021 hour, 29 minutes, 2 secondsfor them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, 1:29:091 hour, 29 minutes, 9 secondsand all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say, you are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come 1:29:181 hour, 29 minutes, 18 secondsin one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all, and thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest. 1:29:301 hour, 29 minutes, 30 secondsSo falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is in you of a truth. 1:29:371 hour, 29 minutes, 37 secondsIt is not the gift of prophecy to pick half the church out and tell them how much they're going to prosper. 1:29:501 hour, 29 minutes, 50 secondsIt says here that the secrets of their heart are revealed. Now, how often do you actually see this operate in church? 1:30:031 hour, 30 minutes, 3 secondsNow, sometimes I'm going to tell y'all for the most part, you're not going to see it because let's just say for instance at Skyfall when I have a lot of people at 1:30:111 hour, 30 minutes, 11 secondsthe altar and it's loud in there and the music's playing and people are praying and things are going on and I'm I'm with 1:30:181 hour, 30 minutes, 18 secondsa person or a couple and I'm praying for them. Y'all are not going to hear what the Lord gives me and shows me 1:30:261 hour, 30 minutes, 26 secondsabout them. And sometimes the Lord, the gift of prophecy, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, this, it 1:30:321 hour, 30 minutes, 32 secondsworks to reveal the secrets of their heart. And that's what needs to happen. 1:30:441 hour, 30 minutes, 44 secondsGive you an example. 1:30:471 hour, 30 minutes, 47 secondsI remember Kenneth Hagen operating the gift of prophecy and he understood the gifts of the spirit very well. one of one of probably one of the best teachers 1:30:561 hour, 30 minutes, 56 secondsabout the gifts out there on subject. I know people hate him for different reasons, but whatever. He did have a revelation from Jesus about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and he did operate in them frequently. 1:31:071 hour, 31 minutes, 7 secondsBut he said like he would have a prayer time, a altar call time, people coming up to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gift of tongues. 1:31:181 hour, 31 minutes, 18 secondsAnd he said he'd go down the line praying for them. 1:31:211 hour, 31 minutes, 21 secondsSome would start, some wouldn't. And he's just praying. And he said, and all of a sudden he get to he got to this one woman and he started praying for her and 1:31:291 hour, 31 minutes, 29 secondshe was like, "Huh?" And then he looks over and the pew behind her. Huh? 1:31:401 hour, 31 minutes, 40 secondsAnd then he whispers to her in her ear, "Honey, you're not getting the Holy Spirit until you get out of adultery with that fellow right there. 1:31:571 hour, 31 minutes, 57 secondsNow, nobody else heard that. That's the real gift of prophecy work. 1:32:071 hour, 32 minutes, 7 secondsIt's not condemning. 1:32:091 hour, 32 minutes, 9 secondsIt's just revealing. Remember what Jesus did? Woman at the well, go get your husband. I don't have a husband. Oh, yeah, you do. 1:32:201 hour, 32 minutes, 20 secondssays, "You've had five of them, and the one you're living with now is not your husband." Oh, sir, I perceive thou art a prophet. 1:32:301 hour, 32 minutes, 30 secondsHow'd you know my secret? 1:32:381 hour, 32 minutes, 38 secondsWe need more of that kind of prophecy going on. 1:32:421 hour, 32 minutes, 42 secondsAnd it's not to condemn anybody. Jesus exposed her sin and her problem 1:32:501 hour, 32 minutes, 50 secondsnot to condemn her but to get her attention so she would get out of it. 1:32:571 hour, 32 minutes, 57 secondsAmen. 1:33:121 hour, 33 minutes, 12 secondsI mean, I've had to tell people, I know you're a pedophile. 1:33:301 hour, 33 minutes, 30 secondsI've told young ladies the person they were dating was a homosexual. They didn't know it. found out later. 1:33:371 hour, 33 minutes, 37 secondsThat's prophecy. 1:33:391 hour, 33 minutes, 39 secondsWhen you tell the pastor of First Baptist Church here at Opaikica as he's having affairs with several women and one of the women's names is 1:33:481 hour, 33 minutes, 48 secondsand he better stop before God makes it public and he instead of repenting sends out his attack dogs to slander you and 1:33:561 hour, 33 minutes, 56 secondsthen the Opalikica Police Department catch him making obscene phone calls and find out he's in affairs with multiple women in the church and one of them's name was 1:34:041 hour, 34 minutes, 4 secondsSo that's prophecy, y'all. 1:34:111 hour, 34 minutes, 11 secondsAnd yes, it does have part of prophecy is is foretelling the future. Part of prophecy is revealing the will of God or calling and purpose in your life. I 1:34:191 hour, 34 minutes, 19 secondsmean, there's different aspects of it, but I want more of this. the secrets of people's hearts being revealed 1:34:281 hour, 34 minutes, 28 secondsso that they will be convicted that God is speaking to them and they will understand that they need to deal with this sin in their life. 1:34:421 hour, 34 minutes, 42 secondsAmen. Or me. That's what we say around here, right? 1:34:461 hour, 34 minutes, 46 secondsAnd see I know this that I was thinking about this over the last few days this particular verse 1:34:541 hour, 34 minutes, 54 secondsabout the secrets of people's heart and being made manifest. A lot of times this 1:35:011 hour, 35 minutes, 1 secondhappens while I am preaching the Lord starts giving me things that are exposing the secrets of your heart. 1:35:121 hour, 35 minutes, 12 secondsI have people all the time tell me that is exactly what I've been thinking or I was thinking it and then you said it. 1:35:231 hour, 35 minutes, 23 secondsThis is why it's important to be around ministries in churches and listening to people who not only 1:35:321 hour, 35 minutes, 32 secondsoperate in the gifts but their very preaching and teaching is prophetic in nature 1:35:391 hour, 35 minutes, 39 secondsbecause that is also revealing the secrets of your heart. 1:35:471 hour, 35 minutes, 47 secondsSee, I know this morning that I've touched on some things that have pinpointed stuff in your 1:35:541 hour, 35 minutes, 54 secondsheart. Some of you just like like it's stuck like an arrow. 1:36:031 hour, 36 minutes, 3 secondsSome of you are like, "Yeah, I know what he's talking about." Well, guess what? That's secret of your heart being revealed to you. 1:36:121 hour, 36 minutes, 12 secondsSo, you'll deal with it. Amen. I got to stop. 1:36:211 hour, 36 minutes, 21 secondsThere's so much more. 1:36:251 hour, 36 minutes, 25 secondsMaybe we'll get into that that next week. 1:36:281 hour, 36 minutes, 28 secondsBeware of letting your heart get hardened. 1:36:331 hour, 36 minutes, 33 secondsBeware of listening to that inner voice that's not on your side. 1:36:421 hour, 36 minutes, 42 secondsSee, voices can come from you, your own heart, the demons and the devils, and from the Lord. You have to determine. 1:36:531 hour, 36 minutes, 53 secondsHow do you know the difference? You better know this. 1:37:011 hour, 37 minutes, 1 secondHow can a young man cleanse his way? How can a young man keep himself from sinning against you, Lord? 1:37:101 hour, 37 minutes, 10 secondsHiding his word in the heart. 1:37:131 hour, 37 minutes, 13 secondsWhen you hide the word of God in your heart, you start crowding out the other. 1:37:211 hour, 37 minutes, 21 secondsAmen. Let's stand. Thank you, Jesus. 1:37:321 hour, 37 minutes, 32 secondsFather in heaven, I thank you that your word is true from Genesis to Revelation. 1:37:371 hour, 37 minutes, 37 secondsIt's alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the dividing sunder of soul and spirit. It is a discerner 1:37:441 hour, 37 minutes, 44 secondsof the thoughts and the intents of the heart. Lord, your word reveals what's in the heart so that we can quit deceiving ourselves 1:37:531 hour, 37 minutes, 53 secondsand lying to ourselves and believing excuses and justifications and just admit that we are wretched sinners that 1:38:011 hour, 38 minutes, 1 secondneed you to wash our hearts, clean them, and help us get victory over them. 1:38:111 hour, 38 minutes, 11 secondsLord, I pray this in the name of Jesus that you will teach us to win this battle against our carnal 1:38:181 hour, 38 minutes, 18 secondsnature of our heart against the demons, against the lies and deceptions coming through people, 1:38:291 hour, 38 minutes, 29 secondsLord, so that we won't be manipulated. 1:38:361 hour, 38 minutes, 36 secondsLord, I pray you said the bottom line is that we are to fear the Lord and depart from evil. 1:38:471 hour, 38 minutes, 47 secondsFear you, fear God and keep his commandments. Whole duty of a man. 1:38:541 hour, 38 minutes, 54 secondsLord, let us have true fear and respect in our hearts so that we may do what you want us to do with the right motive behind it. 1:39:081 hour, 39 minutes, 8 secondsCleanse our hearts from selfishness and vain glory, the idol of self, envy and jealousy, lust and adultery and perversion. 1:39:211 hour, 39 minutes, 21 secondsTake it away, Lord. Cleanse us. Create in us a clean heart. Renew a right spirit within us. 1:39:361 hour, 39 minutes, 36 secondsJesus name. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. All right. Well, 1:39:441 hour, 39 minutes, 44 secondspart three. Part four. I think I know now. What is part four? 1:39:491 hour, 39 minutes, 49 secondsSo, y'all hug some necks before you leave. 1:39:531 hour, 39 minutes, 53 secondsThere any announcements, babe? Nope. All right. God bless you.
