  2. 03:10Worship

Jesus have it all. Jesus have it all. Jesus have it all. Oo. Yeah. All my days, all my life. Have it all. All my days and all my life. Have it all. Have it all and all my knees make all my life. It all my days and all my life. have it all. Oh, Jesus. Yes, Lord. We worship you this morning. We want you to have all of our lives, everything. Lord, we surrender to you, God. We hold back nothing for ourselves. None of our own plans, none of our own will. We want your kingdom to come and your will to be done in us and through us. We want to be your light. We want to truly be a people who deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow you. Lord, I thank you for your mercy and your grace. I thank you for your power that you give us to live this life. I thank you that there is forgiveness when we confess our sins and we repent. Lord, we do fall short many times, but we want to walk with you in holiness, purity. We want to walk with you in obedience, God. We don't want to drift away. We don't want to fall away. We don't want to be deceived and commit the great transgression

  3. 06:04Pastor Dean Odle

of apostasy. Lord, we pray this today for your strength and your help and your guidance in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. You may be seated this morning. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Welcome everybody. Good to see everybody here today. Looks like we're going to have some storms and rain here shortly. So, uh just in case if we lose power, something like that happens. Um we'll uh we'll upload things later on. Um I sent you guys some stuff. I hope you got it just a few minutes ago. Um I've entitled this today. I'm just going to simply call this the garden and the deceiver. Um, you know, the last few weeks and I have to say even today, I've every time I've gotten up here to preach, I've had to share how I've had a heaviness on my heart. And uh, I feel it again today. And I guess sometimes I guess maybe it's because we see so much now because of social media and the internet and everything else. It's like uh Solomon said in Ecclesiastes, he that increases wisdom or knowledge increases sorrow as well. Um it seems like the more we know uh the more we see, the more we understand, the more um sorrow and troubled we are. Um, I don't know if anybody's been watching what's been happening in France over the last few days, but uh, France is gone. France is being overthrown by Muslim immigrants and left-wing crazies. Uh, but it's exactly what they're doing in France. They're going to do in England and then other countries in Europe. And then they want to do it here. I mean, that's the ultimate goal. That's why wicked people like uh the Bushes and the Clintons and the Bidens and the Obamas uh allowed so many illegal aliens into our country. Um because that's actually part of the evil agenda is to overthrow Christian western culture. That's just it. And so the only way you do that, the way Rome fell was uncontrolled immigration. And uh that is you're watching it. You're watching it happen. Um now, as somebody wisely said, I don't know if it was on X or if it was on Facebook or where I saw this, but one of the reasons it's not happened here yet like it's happening in France and uh and in

  4. 09:00Pastor Dean Odle

England is because we have the Second Amendment and a lot of us Americans carry guns, me included. So, uh, you know, some of that foolishness would end real quick in certain parts of this country. But I guess I what I'm really upset about today, besides just the craziness going in the world, it just seems like um exactly what Jesus told us in Matthew 24, we're seeing happen. Um, in fact, let's just turn there. I want to I can't get away from it. I'm gonna hold my spot in Genesis, we're gonna go back to Genesis 3 in a second. But a part that's really been standing out to me this week, and I'll share with you why in a second, but Matthew 24, if I can get there, where of course they ask him, "What will be the sign of your coming, the end of the age?" And verse eight, all these are the beginning of sorrows. Then he said, "They shall deliver you up to be afflicted. They shall kill you. You shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." Um, I tell you the truth, I don't think there's any more hated group of people in the world right now than Christians. Um, when you think about all the groups that hate true Christians, it's it's unreal. But as we keep reading in this, he says, "And many false prophets, and I'm going to add in there, false teachers as well, shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." And again, there's the endurance to the end, being saved. Uh that's who's going to be saved. But then he goes on to say, and let's um well, I'm going to back up. I'm going to see here where uh verse 10 though, when he said, "Many shall be offended. Many shall betray one another, shall hate one another." Man, I'm going to tell you if that ain't true right now. Um and the betrayals too, the people, you know, you can't betray somebody unless you gain first their confidence and trust, right? There's no such thing. So the betrayal right now is really from other Christians. Um who, you know, we we tend to receive people. We tend to accept people. You know, we try to be nice and accepting as we can be, especially when we hear people tell us, "Well, yeah, I'm a Christian, too. I believe in Jesus." Blah, blah, blah. But really, the betrayal is coming from these people, uh, the deceived. Um, now I'm going to share this and I'm not going to share who this person is because I don't want to draw any more attention. I don't want to help build their platform. Okay? Some people if they got a really big platform, I'm

  5. 12:02Pastor Dean Odle

going to go ahead and tell you their name so you'll be aware of them. This guy's platform is relatively small. I think he's only got about he's got less than 3,000 subscribers on YouTube. I mean, he's got I don't know about a thousand uh views. But anyway, this guy invited me to come on. He's he's a little seasoned guy. Come to find out, he's all in all all kinds of air. Um, but he invited me to come on his show for like three hours. I'm I am not doing it. Number one, I don't want to help his plat grow his platform. Number two, I'm not arguing with a heretic just for the sake of arguing with a heretic. Um, but what was interesting is that while I was preparing for today, I went and just looked at the comments. I didn't listen to the three plus hours of him basically trying to take apart my sermon where I debunked their little season error. The comments were hilarious. But first, I'm going to share with you, I got this earlier in the week, so let's put up Glenn's testimony. Some of you will know who this is. I didn't put his last name on there cuz he might not want his last name out there. But Glenn, somebody that visited with us, he's watched and listened for years. He actually joined the school of ministry for a time, but had a family emergency that happened. Um, but he sent this to me uh earlier this week. He said, "Good morning, Pastor Dean. You may not recognize my name, but this is Glenn. I want to just say thank you uh this morning. The church I'm attending had a men's breakfast and the pastor challenged us to think about the one person most responsible for us dedicating our lives to Christ. There are many people on that list, but your preaching is more responsible than anything else. I hope this is encourages you. I pray for a blessing on your family today and continue blessings over your ministry and over fire and grace church and the new build process. Thank you, Pastor Dean. Of course, I said I do remember you. Thank you. It's very encouraging. and he said uh thank you sir I can't express the gratitude that I have for your bold faith and and the way you preach. He says allow me to be very direct please. Uh he said if it wasn't for your preaching and the truth that you share from the pull pit I would be lost. I would still be on the path I was on before I was introduced to your preaching. I know that there are thousands of others out there just like me who didn't quite understand God's expectations for us. You made them clear. I'll let you get back to your day, but just know that God used you and your ministry to save me from a very uncomfortable eternity. Thank you. Now, very nice. Thank you, Glenn. And he's probably watching today or at some point he will. Um, but then we had this in the same week.

  6. 15:01Pastor Dean Odle

First of all, great week. I figured out years ago Dean was a snake. All those sins he pointed out were sins of the flesh. God's after your heart. So I guess it doesn't matter what you do in your flesh. I'm a snake because I point out sin and tell you you should repent of sin. Um he doesn't know what some of us have been through in our life. He puts more people in hell than heaven. And I thought, didn't Jesus say, "Narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it, but wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many go in there." I thought to myself, that to me, I knew that scripture when I was about 8 years old, that passage about narrow is the way and wide and broad is the way. And I'm thinking, I'm the snake. But this is the what I'm talking about. People are so blind and deceived. It's beyond It's beyond words. It really is. And then of course this one, let's go to the next one I sent you. Yeah. It says, "This one said, Dean is an ego-driven man who has been blinded to much truth. He supports the modern state of Israel and disregards scripture. So what if he believes the earth is flat?" Whoopee. That's just a part of the truth. Jesus wants to reveal to his children who are definitely living in the little season of deception. Oh yeah. Oh God. The Bible is very clear and Jesus kept his word to his disciples. If he can't see the 1948 fake Israeli hoax, the modern Zionist Jews spitting on our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, then he is spiritually blind indeed. Perhaps his pride is blinding him. So sad. Then another one. I don't know if I sent you this one. Another one went on said, "I didn't understand salvation because I don't teach you're once saved always saved." All right. Um, and I'm just I'm reading through this stuff and I'm just going, is there any hope for people? Is there any hope out there? Um, and then as I look through the some of these guys other videos, it wasn't just the little season. He's pushing the serpent seed error of where you basically take Genesis and say that Eve had sex with Satan and produced Cain and that created the serpent seed. It it's nothing more nonsense and error than that right there. Then there's another one where he's talking about the Gospel of Philip which is a gnostic erroneous gospel wasn't written by Philillip. that has all kinds of nonsense and error in it. And he's promoting that as if that that is something you should Christians

  7. 18:00Pastor Dean Odle

should read and look at. But I'm the snake. It's mindblowing, folks. I'm telling you, it's mind-blowing. Um, but I want to go back to something. I want to go back to back to Genesis for a reason here. Genesis chapter 3. Now, we know the Lord made the Garden of Eden, right? Created the heavens and the earth. Then he made the garden of Eden. And he said he put man in that garden to dress it and to keep it. Right? Those two things, to dress it and to keep it. So, so he created the heavens, earth, and then God made this special place for Adam and Eve that they were given responsibility for. All right? And they were to dress it and they were to keep it. And then it says that of course we know what happened that Satan comes into that picture and there's two trees in the garden. There's the tree of life and there's the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And the Lord points out to them in this perfect place that he made for them, a place where no sin existed. He points out to them, there's this one tree over here in this massive garden. Don't eat of this tree. Now, let me help you understand something about doctrine in the Bible. One of the things you have a lot of theologians will say, and this I agree with, is that we can pretty much go back to Genesis and and establish every central foundational doctrine of the Bible almost. Okay? And we go back to Genesis and we find the beginning of things, the foundation of things. All right? And so when God made the heavens and the earth and when he made the garden and when he made Adam and Eve, he was also not just creating something out of just, you know, without knowledge or whatever. He was he was still demonstrating by everything he does. He's demonstrating who he is and what he expects. Okay? And this is something that I get criticized all the time for that. I preach salvation by works, right? Because I say that you have some responsibility in this. Okay? But let's look at what happened again. And I've said this many times. I wrote this in Grace Abuse in 1997 when I when I was writing Grace Abuse. But you have to understand that you can be given a gift, but that has conditions to it and

  8. 21:02Pastor Dean Odle

responsibilities to it. Right? I can hand Faith the keys to my truck, but I expect her to keep it in the road. I expect to get it back in one piece, right? Because guess what? If we don't, I want the keys back to my truck. And we have more training to do, right? So when God made Adam and Eve, we have to understand this. Even though I've said it many times, you got to get this down in you. He made them brand new creatures. Does that sound familiar? They were brand new. New creatures and they were sinless. Somebody say no sin. No sin. Sinless for a short little season. They were in a perfect environment. Well, say almost perfect. There was one one little tree and one snake. Okay. But all they had to do to avoid the snake and all the problems that would come with the deception following to the deceiver. All they had to do was obey one command. That was it. And guess what? It wasn't a work. It was leave that tree alone. He could just sit down in a chair. Leave the tree alone. Are you working? Is there any work to that? Leave that tree alone. See, this is why I can't get across to these hard-headed people listening to the deceiver is is that the works of the flesh are sin. That's what sin is. It's a work. That's where you work it. When you repent and you stop sinning in whatever particular area it may be in, you are ceasing to work. That's why repentance is not a work. It's a rest. Come on, man. Let me tell you, when I quit drinking, I quit having to spend several hours over the toilet before I went to bed in that evening. I got to rest. I didn't have to work. Right? When I quit doing drugs, I didn't have to run around the city hunting for the drug dealer.

  9. 24:05Pastor Dean Odle

And I could go on down the list, but again, I've said these things before, but it's just like it doesn't register in people because they've been told by church after church, denomination after denomination, pastor after pastor, oh, uh, you just believe it and that's it. But the Bible in the book of James says the devils also believe and tremble works actions without faith is dead being alone. Right? But see all they had to do all Adam and Eve had to do was leave that tree alone. That's it. All I tell you to do. Why don't we just leave fornication alone? Why don't we leave adultery alone? Why don't we leave stealing alone? Why don't we leave lying alone? Why don't we leave that tree of sin alone and go after the tree of life, which is Jesus, right? And isn't it amazing how terrible I am to say that you should continue in such a walk, right? How dare I say you should continue to walk with Jesus and stay away from the tree. This is basic. But Adam and Eve, let me just say this for the camera and everybody else. Number one, they did not earn being made new creatures by anything that they did. They didn't earn by anything that they did to be placed in the Garden of Eden. It was given to them as a gift. Life is a gift. Your sinless state is a gift. Your home here, paradise, is a gift. Just leave the tree alone. So, see, a gift that you don't earn can have a condition on it. And if God made a gift that they couldn't earn have one condition, what do you think about your salvation now in Jesus Christ? Yes. You don't earn it by good works. You believe what he did from the heart. You confess it with the mouth.

  10. 27:00Pastor Dean Odle

and he will give it to you freely. But then he says this to you, leave the tree alone. How dare he? But see, all deception is based on this one thing. God gave them a gift they didn't earn, but put a condition upon it. Satan comes into the garden and says, "But hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, time out. What did God really say?" God said, "You eat of the tree, you die. Separation from me is what that is." Satan said, "No, no, no, no. You shall not surely die." And here we have the same lie. He just rebrands and repackages through the whole book and all of eternity. You can do what you want. You can live how you want. You can eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You can participate in evil, sin, and iniquity however long you choose, however way you want to. And you will not surely die. I mean, I think about that comment a minute ago. I'm the snake. No, the snake is telling you, doesn't matter what you do in your flesh, you won't surely die. You still going to heaven and live forever. You won't be separated from God forever. But this is where people are. They are this deceived in the world. The majority of Christianity in America and in the West believes that all they had to do was just believe the gospel, believe in Jesus Christ, and there are no conditions upon them after that. That is not what God did in the garden. That's not how he started mankind. And it is not the gospel of Jesus Christ to say it doesn't matter how you live after you believe. It's just that simple. And you can call it grace all you want. But see, here's the thing about grace. The grace of God, put up Titus chapter 2, starting in verse 11. The grace of God teaches us that denying ungodly lust. What I may be worldliness, ungodly lust, we must live what? Soberly, righteously, godly in this present world. Let's read it. Yeah. Therefore, the grace of God that bringeth salvation

  11. 30:00Pastor Dean Odle

has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ. Now go back to the verse, previous verse. The grace of God teaches us that we are to deny. That means to reject, disavow, reject ungodliness, worldly lust. We should live soberly means not drunk or high, righteously and godly in this present world. Wait a minute. Who's the teacher? Wait a minute. What? But wait a minute, grace is teaching us. Somebody say grace. Grace is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit. Because even when you look up the word grace, charis, it means the divine influence upon your heart and its reflection in your life. All right? So meaning that's when the Holy Spirit is teaching you, urging you, convicting you, guiding you to something, right? And that's what he says. He's going to teach us. He's going to instruct us that we are to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and to live soberly, righteous godly in this present world. That's grace. Anything else that you say grace is is a lie. If you say grace is just God knows you're a sinner and he just overlooks it all. That's what grace is. Nope. Guess what? Grace is not unmerited favor either. That's a lie you've been told. And if you go to your local Baptist church, you'd probably hear it today. That is not the definition of grace. never has been. And yet they've said it over and over and over and over again until people think that's what the definition of it is. Not at all. Mercy is when you get undeserved kindness. Justice is when you get what you deserve. Grace is the Holy Spirit working upon your heart trying to get you to do the right thing. That's why the Bible says in Hebrews chapter 10 that we can abuse the spirit of grace. Right? Go to Hebrews 10. This is for

  12. 33:01Pastor Dean Odle

the one that called me a snake. Let's go to Hebrews 10. Just start at verse 26. Now, this is written to Christians. Right? And he says this, "For if we," now I believe the Apostle Paul wrote Hebrews, but let's just say we know at least you can agree that one of the apostles wrote it, right? But when he says we, if I say we, who am I including? I'm including myself, right? I'm saying that means you and me. For if we sin, present tense Greek verb which means ongoing continuously and taking place in the present. If we sin in a habitual ongoing continuous manner willfully mean we choose to do it after that we have received the knowledge of the truth there remainth no more sacrifice for sins. If you keep on sinning once you've heard the truth, there is no other way out of this. But it you have a certain somebody say certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. That means the enemies of God. That means if you as a Christian decide to keep on sinning and live in a sinful habitual state of rebellion, you're headed to the place where the enemies of God are headed to. And then he keeps going. He says, "For he that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. Of how much sore punishment suppose ye shall he be thought worthy who hath trotten underfoot the son of God hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified?" Meaning at some point you had been sanctified, cleansed, purged, made holy by the blood past tense because you went back to your sin and rebellion. And he says, "You were sanctified." So you've counted the blood of the covenant wherewith you were sanctified, an unholy thing. And you've done despite. This word despite in the Greek means abuse. The spirit of grace. Somebody say spirit of grace. Spirit of grace. Notice that's a capital S. So just like we call the Holy Spirit the spirit of truth, he's also the spirit of grace. All right. Now, does this look like you can just do whatever you want? No. Now, let's go to another one. Jude verse three. Jude's only one chapter. Read it last night. Jude's writing and this is what he said. Verse three, he said, ' Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that

  13. 36:01Pastor Dean Odle

you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. So what he's saying here is I sat down, the Holy Spirit wanted me to write something to you and all of a sudden it just came upon me. I I must write unto you about salvation because obviously there's some problems. Some of y'all are getting deceived. What was the deception? For there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation. Ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Somebody say turning the grace of God. Turning the grace of God into lasciviousness. Oh, what's that fancy word mean? It means licentiousness. It means being granted a license to do whatever you want sexually. Alcohol, drugs, partying, rioting, abortions, murder. Your license to do all that you want to do and have no problem. That's what these guys were doing. This was the deception. Jude was arrested by the Holy Spirit. You got to address this because they're creeping in. Think about this. This is first century. First century, right after Jesus died and res this error creeps in. Why? Because it's Satan's oldest lie in the book. It's his it's his number one tool. It's what he wants to get into people's hearts and minds. We've got to turn the grace of God into something that it's not. See, either the grace of God is teaching you that you're supposed to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, or he's telling you you can live however you want and still be saved. Which one you think's right? Uhhuh. Let me show you something else. Hebrews chapter 5. They don't like these verses. You get these Baptist Calvinist deceivers. But Hebrews 5 and we go down to verse seven. Speaking of Jesus, he says, "Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that it was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared, though he were a son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered, and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that

  14. 39:05Pastor Dean Odle

believe and do what they want all he's the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. This is the context when he said verse 11, of whom we have many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing that you are dull of hearing. For when the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again, which be the first principles, the basics of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk and not strong meat. That's the context. The context is Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to those who obey him. I didn't write that. Pastor Dean didn't come up with that. Now what happens is you got to choose. Leave the tree alone. Obey or listen to the snake that says you can eat that tree. It's it'll be all right. Come on now. Whenever somebody is you can eat that tree, you're going to be all right. It's just a little affair. It's just a little adultery. God knows I have needs. This just a little fornication. You hear me? See, I'm not the one that said all liars shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. I didn't say that. But if somebody comes along and say, "You can be a liar. You're going to be all right because you believe in Jesus. What do you think that is? Uhhuh. No, I'm going to tell you how to identify the snakes. They're always the one telling you. You ever hear this when you thinking about you being tempted to sin and you ever hear that little voice say, "It's not that bad." That's the snake. Or God understands. That's the snake. or I'm eternally secure no matter how I live. I'm once saved. That's the snake. See, there was the garden and there's two trees and that deceiver.

  15. 42:01Pastor Dean Odle

Now, had she just if Eve just said, "Hey, shut up. Shut your mouth. I ain't touching that tree. I'm not eating at that tree. I'm gonna obey God. And in fact, I'm going to go over here and eat of this tree. He said was okay, the tree of life. Do you know Revelation 3 2 3 where it talks about the churches. He says, "One of the things given to us who overcome, meaning we overcome sin, we overcome Satan. We live soberly, righteously, godly in this present world. We live for Jesus. We endure to the end. Whether it's the end of our life or the end, the second coming of Jesus, but we endure. We overcome. He says, "Guess what? That to to them's going to be granted access to the tree of life to eat and live forever." Why didn't they pick that one? No, they had to go pick the tree that the serpent was talking about. Oh, but it was pretty, too. when she saw it looked good to the eyes, right? Yeah. What? What? Go to uh show them in in Revelation. Let's see. Hang on. I can't remember which church it is now. Just so people will see. I'm not making it up cuz I guess I make up stuff all the time. I deny the scriptures. Right? You know, isn't it funny? I I I'm the one denies the scriptures because I don't say all the Jews are of the devil, right? I think that's a little thing called stereotyping, right? Ah, here it is. Chapter 2, church of Ephesus, verse 7. Oh, by the way, he says, "But this that verse six, he says, but this thou hast that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." Do you know that what the Nicolatians taught? Once saved, always saved. Yeah. He says, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches. To them that overcomemeth will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God." I mean, there it is. But what did he have to tell them? What did they have to overcome? He said they'd left their first love and he said, "Repent." He told them to repent. Do your first works. Right? I mean, there are Christians out there that literally say, "If you're a Christian, you don't ever have to repent because your sins are forgiven past, present, future." And yet Jesus told almost all these churches in Revelation, "Repent or else." Somebody say, "Or else." Or else. You don't want or else. Just repent. What's that mean? Step away

  16. 45:03Pastor Dean Odle

from the tree. ain't touching it. Not eating that tree. Done with that tree of sin. I'm done with it. Oh, now let's go. Go to second Thessalonians chapter 1. Y'all all right? Y'all kind of quiet. I know it's overcast outside and 2 Thessalonians chapter 1. Y'all want a scary verse? He says into verse 7, "And to you who are troubled, rest with us. When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power. Do you see the word believe anywhere in this passage? Do you see anywhere just believe and you're you're good? No. He talks about what? Those who what? Got to obey. Somebody say obey. And then there was in one of those comments on that YouTube thing slamming me, it talked about, oh, he says you got to do the will of God. God forbid that I should just say what the book says. Look, 1 John chapter 2, 1 John 2:15, here's the command. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world, and the world passes away, and the lust thereof. But he that doeth the will of God abideth forever, doeth. Y'all want to know what doeth means? It means doeth continually, doeth habitually, doeth right now, elite. say, "What is the will of God?" He, his word is revealed. Let me show you something with this. Go

  17. 48:01Pastor Dean Odle

to um 1 Thessalonians chapter 4. Show you something that's the will of God. Y'all want to hear something that's will of God? I'm glad you're going to see it anyway, whether you wanted to or not. 1 Thessalonians 4. You know, everybody always thinks first Thessalonians 4, you think about the rapture, you know, verses down there. No, the first part of chapter 4 is to me the most interesting because it says this um verse one. Furthermore, then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus that as ye have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more. For you know what commandment we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God. Somebody say this is the will of God. This is the will of God. Even your sanctification that you should abstain from fornication. Somebody say this is the will of God. This is the will of God that you abstain from fornication means leave that tree alone. You want to know the will of God? Fornication. What is the word fornication? Porna. Sound familiar? But that word encompasses all sexual immorality, adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, beastiality, sodomy, all of it. All the perversions and wickedness of sexual immorality. He says this is the will of God that you don't do these things. step away from the tree. Again, not doing it is not a work unless you're Obama or Al Gore. Y'all come up with all kind of weird ideas about it. I don't know how stopping something is a work. Y'all get what I'm saying? This is the will of God. even your sanctification. That means your your you becoming more pure and obedient and holy. Abstain. Stay away from fornication, sexual sin. That every one of you should know how to possess or control his vessel, that's his body, in sanctification and honor, not in the lust of concupisence, even as the Gentiles which know not God. So he's saying you're not to live like the Gentiles who don't know God. Somebody say that's the will of God for me. But think about the world we live in now. We live in a world where sexual immorality is rampant. Even in the church it actually within

  18. 51:04Pastor Dean Odle

the church world there is no difference than because nobody knows self-control. Everybody seems to for have forgotten that temperance or self-control is a fruit of the spirit. Meaning, if you're listening to the Holy Spirit and you're following the Holy Spirit, one of the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5 is temperance, self-control, or possessing your vessel and not allowing it to just run crazy and do whatever it wants because your flesh does want to sin. You have to reign it in. And and and just know this, if you will agree with what the word of God says and talk to him about it and say, "I need help." He will help you. He will give you power to help you resist. He in fact 1 Corinthians 10 I think verse 1213 when he says there's there's no temptation taken you but such as common to man and God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able but will with the temptation provide a way for you to escape. Well, what is that escape? If you cry out to the Lord, I don't want to give into this. My flesh wants to do this, Lord, but I don't want to do it. I believe your word. I have I have the true fear of the Lord in me. I respect your word. I don't want to do this. I understand the consequences. Help me. Guess what? He will help you. But if you just go, I can do what I want and it's okay. You're listening to the snake. And when you listen to the snake, you don't get help. You understand? because you have chosen another master. You've chosen to obey another voice. See, you're going to obey somebody. I don't like obeying people. I want to do what I want to do. Yeah, I know you little rebel. But you gonna obey somebody because the devil's telling you to do things and your body's telling you, your flesh is telling you to do things and God's telling you to do. Everybody's telling you to do things. So, you better get used to it. You rebellious kids better get used to it. Here's the thing. You going to obey somebody? Might as well be God, right? Why not? Let me ask something. I don't know. I spent a few years of my life obeying the devil. Where did that lead me? Alcohol poisoning, guns in my face, knives in my face.

  19. 54:06Pastor Dean Odle

Nearly drowning in my own vomit. All kinds of stuff. I can't tell you how many times I should be dead. Somebody say, "I'm going to obey somebody." Might as well be the Lord Jesus, right? That's why he said, "You can't have two masters. can't can't you can't even obey money. Money can't be your God. Can't make the decisions for your life. Man, how many times God has told me to do stuff I didn't have the money for. If id have listened to money, it wouldn't get have gotten done cuz money talks too. Yeah. This church wouldn't you here? You want to obey somebody? Right. I love y'all. See, I love you enough to tell you the truth. You know, I think about this stuff about all this Jew hating. They don't even realize these people that like are in this little season era that think Jesus already came in 70 AD and that so they have to teach that the modern-day nation of Israel is a hoax because it fulfilled Bible prophecy of the last days that didn't take place till 1948. So you get what I'm saying? They have to go there because it debunks their nonsense, right? You say, "Well, Pastor Dean, it's a hoax because the the the the Zionist and the Rothschilds were involved." Well, guess what? All Satan's people going to be involved in instituting the mark of the beast. But just because they're involved in it, God said it was going to happen. It doesn't matter who it happens through, it's going to happen if he said it's going to happen. Well, guess what he said in Isaiah 11, he said the nation of Israel in 750 BC through the prophet Isaiah would be dispersed twice and brought back to the land twice. And guess what? It's only happened twice. And the first time was in 586 BC. And the second time was in 1948 fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 11 and even the very specific prophecy that said that God would make Israel an insign is the is the King James English word which means it would be a nation with a flag and that that act would be a

  20. 57:01Pastor Dean Odle

sign to the nations. Now, that doesn't mean because I preach that that I somehow agree with or have a stamp of approval on everything that the government of Israel does. No, they're wicked. They're evil. Just like our government, just like the French government, just like the British government, just like I mean, can we But just like God had a purpose for raising up the United States of America, no matter what our wicked leaders have done over the over the two and a half centuries, the people of this country, there's always been a people in this country that love Jesus and follow Jesus. Look, God said in in he said in Romans 11 real plainly, "Don't boast yourself against the natural branches." God did not forsake his people which he foreknew. And he said there's going to be a remnant of them at the end and all of that remnant that survives will be saved. I love it. No shame. I couldn't get Faith to hand me something on camera. He just Daniel just walk right through. I love it. I love the children. But you get see how ridiculous it is. You have to start becoming ridiculous. If you if you're going to say create a doctrine that says Jesus has already come when he hasn't, then you got to do away with everything else that he pointed to as a sign that would happen before he comes. See? And I just marvel. I I again I marvel at the level of deception among Christians. If it's not once saved, always saved. Now it's this little season, preterism, whatever you want to call it or the pre-tribulation rapture. I mean, it's just one error, deception after another. But all it comes down to is listening to the snake on every single thing. Here, here's the thing. The Bible is true. And see, and this is another thing these people do, okay? Because there's one verse or two in Revelation that says that there will be those who say they are Jews that are not and they do lie. They're of the synagogue of Satan. And they take that one verse or two verses I think. I guess it's two. And they take those out and they go that means all of them. I'm like did it say all of them? No. There's you look in Israel. Guess what? There are some fake Jews and they are of the synagogue of Satan. They follow the Cabala. They follow Baal, the occultism.

  21. 1:00:01Pastor Dean Odle

They're satanic just like we have Satanist here. But the moment you say that's all of them. Now you're the fool because there's Ashkenazi Jews. That's the one they say they're fake Jews. Okay, let's just say they are. I don't believe they all are, but let's just say they are. All right, Bill. You got Sephardic Jews, Mizrahi Jews, Ethiopian Jews. I mean, we could go on down the You get what I'm saying? I've been there. I went to Israel in 1988. I was on a plane full of European Jews going back to the land for the first time. I watched them cry and kiss the ground, getting off the airplane. I went there, the Israeli Mossad very concerned about me, my brother, because we went took oneway tickets and we all we had was cash and chick tracks. So then we made them nervous. Now is the Israeli Mossad, Israeli security, customs, all that. A lot of them wicked. Oh yes, wicked. But you know what? They let me and my brother in the country. They let us roam around for over a month preaching the gospel everywhere we went. And not one time were we harassed or bothered or deported. I wonder what would have happened if me and my brother would have tried the same thing in Saudi Arabia or Iran or Turkey. See, that's all I'm saying. I don't approve of Netanyahu and all he's done or the Mossad or all. I don't approve of their wickedness. I don't go, "Oh, we should support Israel and everything they do." No. No. But did Paul say in Romans chapter 1 that the gospel is to the Jew first? Does he love them? Does he care for them? Does he want them to be saved? Should we love them and and want them to be saved? Yes. I I've seen Jewish people tear up when I say to them, "I love you, and I want you to know Jesus is your Messiah. He's your he is Yahweh. He is Jehovah." I've seen tears roll down their face because they're so hated by most of the world. Oh, it's a crime to care. See, I don't like some black people. That doesn't make me racist. There's a lot of white people I don't like either. You get what I'm saying? I don't like people do evil. I don't care what color their skin is. If they do and practice evil, they they hurt and abuse other people. I don't like it. I don't care what the color of

  22. 1:03:02Pastor Dean Odle

the skin is. You get what I'm saying? I hate seeing wickedness in this world. I'll tell you one thing, my you you watch one violent thing going on like some crime or riot or whatever on X and then you start getting seeing all of it because they start sending it to you. Lord, we are truly, you know, here here's another thing. I'm sure everyone's seen this. I've always believed that that was the ark on Mount Ararat in Turkey. I mean, it's obvious. Um, Ron Wyatt went there in the 70s. He found it. Others have gone there in the early 20s. People went there before it even sunk further. People got pieces of the gopher wood and had the pitch in it and everything else. I mean, and now, of course, they're drilling and there's open caverns and it's man-made and we know, we know it's the ark. That was hard. But here's what's interesting. I think this coming up in the news right now at this time is not a coincidence because Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the son of man." That's right. And the fact that they have now I mean the the UK Daily Mail, Noah's Ark 100% confirmed. That was their headline. But what should that tell the world? has to tell the world that God got sick and tired of sin and wickedness and murder and violence and finally said, "I'm going to wipe them all out and save only this little few over here who are living for me." That's the story of Noah. And Jesus said, just like it was the days of Noah, meaning murder, violence, wickedness are going to be so rampant, I'm going to have to wipe them all out again. And it's only going to be a few that are saved. That's why he said, "As it was in the days of Lot, so will it also be in the days of the coming." what was going on in the days of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. Every sexual perversion you can imagine they they've even they was so bad that like you you skip forward to the first century Pompeii remember everybody know what Pompeii destroyed by Mount Vesuvius eruption. Christians went to Pompeii to preach and said wrote on the walls there Sodom and Gomorrah warned of the destruction because they were so perverted sexually in um what was it I just said Pompeii they were so wicked that that

  23. 1:06:04Pastor Dean Odle

pornography was on their dinner wear like when they sat down to eat it was perversion in front of them. Okay? Homosexuality, pedophilia, beastiality, every perversion imaginable was depicted throughout the city. I mean, little kids would have to see this when they sat down to eat. And Christians went there and preached that this place is Sodom and Gomorrah. Ain't it interesting? They got destroyed by fire just like Sodom and Gomorrah did. It rained down upon them. like it was in the days of Lot. He said rampant homosexuality, pedophilia. Sound kind of uh like what's going on now? We we just headlined this week busted one of our state representatives from down around Mobile area and a superintendent or a president of a school board. President of a school board caught facilitating a prostitution ring. Another what big group arrested up in North Alabama? Sex trafficking. That's why I wouldn't my child would not set foot in a public school. You don't know what pedophiles teaching your kids. We live in the days of Noah, of Lot, and God's about to allow Look, y'all heard of Kaliningrad, right? Anybody know what that is? Yep. D knows what it is. Anybody else? Let's just put it this way. One of Russia's most important military regions, I guess you would say. And NATO just made threats toward Kenigrat, right? And so far, all of the threats of nuclear war from Russia has all been via proxies he sent out, not his mouth. But that one got Putin to say it. You surround, you try to cut off Kaliningrad, nuclear weapons come out. That's how close we are. Tomorrow, listen to me. Tomorrow, your entire world could change.

  24. 1:09:00Pastor Dean Odle

I mean, it's already changing. How much is How much is diesel right now? $6 and something a gallon. The last time I remember regular gas over $4 a gallon, it was 2008, right before the collapse. Peter Thiel, you know that guy, Palantir, the one that's paid by the government to spy on everybody and get their data that paid for JD Vance's entire Senate campaign, $20 million, who's a raging homosexual obsessed with the Antichrist. Yeah, that guy. He just said it looks like with the advancements in artificial intelligence that we're going to have to have a one world government. His words exactly. Yeah, that guy. Y'all think it happened in 70 AD? Still can't get them to tell me where the mark of the beast was in 70 AD. Oh, that was a mystery. It got hidden from us. The mud flood buried that, right? Yeah. Jesus was King Arthur. That's one of the theories. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And all the big cathedrals in Europe are all, you know, millennial reign buildings built by the saints and all kind of nonsense. It's just it's unreal. It's unreal. And Jesus is hiding somewhere now. You know, I mean, it's it's ridiculous. But folks, this is where we are. This is where we are. Deception is everywhere. But hear me. Don't think you can't be deceived because you because you think, "Okay, I read the Bible. I pray. I go to church. I go to church. It war tries to warn me these things." But we've had people go to church here, some for years, and get sucked right back into this nonsense. So what you do is this. Stay in the word. Stay humble. Stay in prayer. And you know, here's the thing. Most of us have spidey senses. All right? We have a spidey sense. We know if it if it sounds weird and it doesn't ring true, it's probably not because if you've been tuning your guitar to the proper tone, you know when one string's out. You know when it's a even just a hair out. I I was a guitar player. I know I

  25. 1:12:03Pastor Dean Odle

could tell if one string was a little bit off. Just a little bit. Why? Because I got used to hearing went I would strum that G. I know how it's supposed to sound. Well, guess what? If you know this, if you really know this this book and you really know Jesus and you're really full of the Holy Spirit and you're spending time with him and you're in tune, when something's out of tune, you will discern it. But now if you're not in this and you're not in prayer and you're not listening and you're not seeking God, you're not spending time with the Lord and you're spending time so much on all of these other things, you're getting yourself tuned to the world. So when something of the world starts ringing, you don't always catch it. You're going tonedeaf, right? Ain't nothing worse than somebody tonedeaf trying to sing, right? When the dogs start howling. One more passage. It's only 12. One more. I'm going to close. I read this one a few weeks ago. 1 Timothy 4. Y'all, if you if you don't take anything else away from this message, remember this. Step away from the tree. It's all you got to do. that tree of sin, just step away. He said this to Timothy. Of course, he was young. I'm no longer young, but he said, "Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers." In word means what you say. Conversation, that's means behavior. in charity, love, and action, in spirit, in faith, in purity, till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Pay, that means pay close attention. Read, listen to correction, and and instruction, and rebuke, and to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbyter. Meditate upon these things, and give thyself wholly or completely to them, that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself and unto the

  26. 1:15:06Pastor Dean Odle

doctrine. Continue in them. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee. Twice he says, doctrine. Twice. It does matter. Sound doctrine, biblical truth in context. It does matter. It is. I'm just going to tell you, it is a salvation issue. Repentance is a doctrine of Jesus Christ. It's a foundational doctrine. If you don't teach that or you teach it wrong, you have departed from the doctrine of Christ. And what does he say in second John? If you transgress and you depart from the doctrine of Christ, you do not have God. In fact, put that up. I get one more. I'm Pentecostal, so I get one more. Second John. And again, I went through this verse, I think, twice a few weeks ago. Two different messages. I can't stress it enough. Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ hath both the Father and the Son. Next one. Verse eight. I mean verse 10. Is it frozen or something? Okay. If there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God's speed. Verse 11, for he that bid him God's speed is partaker of his evil deeds. So what did Jesus teach? Did Jesus teach repentance? Yes, he did. Did he teach what true faith was? Yes, he did. Did he teach obedience, self-denial, following him, taking up the cross? Did he teach on hell? Did he teach on the days of Noah? Did he teach on the last days and the signs that would lead to his second coming? Did he say he would come again? See, these are all the doctrines of Christ. If we depart from these things, we transgress and we don't abide in these things. I'm not the one saying this. Back up to verse 9 again. Let everybody see it. The Apostle John wrote this right before he died. Whosoever. Somebody say, "Whosoever." Whosoever. That would be that would include me and you. Whosoever transgresseth means you you depart from the path and you abide not you don't remain live dwell in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. Say this with me. If I get off doctrine

  27. 1:18:00Pastor Dean Odle

If I get off doctrine I don't have God. I don't have God. Pretty serious. Did I say it? Is this pastor Dean's suggestion here making up? No. See, what happened is I read these when I was 19 years old and trembled. That's why I have endeavored over the years not to just preach. Preaching. You can just snatch a verse out and preach for an hour. I can do that. A lot of preachers do. We just take one verse. Oh, we're going to take one idea. the attitude of gratitude. We'll preach for an hour on No, I don't do that. I go through scripture upon scripture, definitions of words in scripture, context of scripture, grammar in scripture, verb tense in scripture. Why do I do all that? because I don't want to be guilty of this. This scares the hell out of me. Hopefully, it'll scare the hell out of you, too. And I didn't write it. This is not First Dean chapter 1, verse 9. Amen. Amen. Let's stand. Thank you, Lord. The garden and the deceiver. You going to listen to the Lord. You going to listen to the devil. You going to listen to the Lord. You going to listen to the flesh. You got to decide. You going to submit to somebody. You going somebody's going to be your master. Can't live in this life and this world without it. But you can't have two of them. You know why? Because you can't go in two different directions at the same time. That's why I say it. I'm going to say it again for those who are new listening out there. I've always said this and I'm going to say it again and again and again. You're going to end up in the place of the one you follow. Holy Spirit's trying to go this way, take you to heaven, get you to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Devil's trying to get you to go this way, live in sin, and end up in hell. You choose who you will follow. And you know what the beautiful thing is? If you choose to follow Jesus and you're trying to follow him and you fall down, you can get up, confess your sins, ask for forgiveness, and keep going. You can repent and keep going. Also, good news. If you've been following the devil, you can say, "Guess what, devil? We breaking up today.

  28. 1:21:02Pastor Dean Odle

Here's your stuff back. I'm turning around. That's repentance. I'm turning around the other way, 180 degrees, and I'm going to walk with Jesus now." Cuz we were all walking with the devil at one point. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So, who you going to choose today? I pray you choose Jesus. And guess what that means? If you choose Jesus today, you got to choose him tomorrow and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday. You see what I'm saying? You just keep choosing him. Come on. That's all it's about. Continuing therein. Yes. Right. Enduring to the end. I didn't make up those verses either. Let's pray. Father in heaven, thank you for the truth. Thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit of truth. And we have your scriptures that are truth. And Lord, you lead us and guide us in the scriptures. And you lead us and guide us in the way we should walk and the way we should live. Lord, there are two trees before us always. The tree of life, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the ways of the world, sin, wickedness in the flesh. We choose. We choose to step away from the evil tree and obey you and walk with you. Lord, help us to do that, Lord. But I've tried today to make this as plain as simple that a child could understand it because it's that important that everyone understands this choice we have every day to choose who our master is going to be, who we're going to follow. Lord, I ask you to make that real. Holy Spirit, lead us and guide us. Order our steps. Help us overcome the temptations the flesh. And if we do sin, if we do fall down, to not lay there and wallow in it and live in it, but to get up, to ask forgiveness, to repent, and to walk away from it, and to walk on with you. Make that real. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Alrighty. Well, uh, where'd my wife go? Oh, I looked back there and you were gone. There's nothing. All right. Well, y'all know the drill. Hug some necks before you leave. Y'all want to go want to stay and hang out? Please go get what you

  29. 1:24:04Pastor Dean Odle

want, come back. Y'all know the drill. All right. God bless.
