we we pray right now that you will truly help us empty ourselves of all of our flesh our sin and our pride our own plans our own ideas and truly Lord deny ourselves and take up the cross daily and follow you Jesus as we should we want to be like John the Baptist he said he must increase and I must decrease Lord we want you to fill us we want you to teach us we want you to guide us by your Holy Spirit into all truth we want to be anointed so that our words are powerful we want to set people free from darkness and deception and sin and demons and everything else Lord we want to walk in the ministry of Jesus that you've called us to walk in God we thank you for that Jesus name amen hallelujah you may be seated we welcome you this morning fire and Grace Church those of you here those of you visiting those of you listening by Blog Talk Radio we welcome you this morning we're gonna I just praying yesterday and this morning I just kept feeling the Lord speak to me and say you know uh you always need to uh re-establish the foundations all the time and never assume I never I guess I don't assume as much as others but I try not to assume people know or get it the first time right but I'm going to preach on something I've talked about many times but not from this passage and I've not talked about part of this but we're going to look at Revelation 14 this morning I've called this the Everlasting gospel and the Seven Angels of Revelation 14. um there's a reason for this because as we know in this church there's no doubt in my mind no doubt in most of this church in this ministry that we are definitely in the last of the last days we are moving into the Great Tribulation the time of great trouble that will lead up to the rise of the Antichrist and lead up to the mark of the beast and ultimately at the end of that time it will lead to the second coming of Jesus to establish his kingdom now part of that is there has to be and I don't say this with any Joy or Glee about it but there has to be like total collapse and reorganization of the global economy now we know that because Revelation 13 God said in the last days and particularly by the middle of the last seven years
he said in Revelation 13 that the Antichrist and the Beast world government and the whole thing would cause everyone small great Rich poor everyone would be forced to take a mark in their right hand of their forehead and that if they would not they would not be able to buy or sell so that is an economic system it's cashless it's going to be digital computerized satellite the whole nine yards is going to be technology and we've talked about that a lot that it's going to be some type of implanted microchip that will enable the storage of information bank account numbers and instant digital transactions but to bring in an entire new global economic system you have to destroy the old system either it has to crumble itself or it the people who want to bring in the new one have to destroy the old one right and just like in 2008 it really it really began in Full Steam in 2007 and 2008 but the these the stock markets that are crashing across the world right now and there's over 20 of them crashing okay the stock markets that are crashing including the United States stock market that went into free fall on Thursday and Friday more than 888 points in two days we're actually a little early we're we're getting the warning shots across the back the bow now before the as as my Bolivian friend says here before the shemitah hits the fan right it's coming and somebody said I was watching a video even this morning and we're talking about and reading an article that went along with it but we're talking about how that everything that led up to the 2008-2009 crash um is happening now except it's worse now okay so it's it's coming how that happens and they're they're believing that Monday morning tomorrow morning the Carnage on the U.S stock market may even be worse oil prices just dropped below 40 a barrel and anybody that knows anything about economics knows that that is very very bad it's good for us when we go fill up but it's very very bad for the economy for the dollar for everything else it's not good but the people who actually have to produce the oil it costs them more than forty dollars a barrel to actually refine it and get it to us
so it doesn't take much math to realize that they're going to go under right they're going to start suffering not being able to make a profit and then that's going to relay and that's why the stocks are dropping particularly in the oil markets now whether there's a rebound or not this is the warning right now Chinese stock market collapsing over the last month everybody thought you know most of the The Economist in the world thought that we needed to invest in Asia that you needed to take your money out of American invest in Asia and then the Chinese stock market collapsed and you want to know why that is it's real simple if you can't trust the U.S capitalist to do the right thing in the stock market and not create all these false Bubbles and false wealth you're going to expect the Communist Chinese to do the right thing no and a lot of people don't understand that the Chinese devaluing their currency have no idea what that means to us but then other nations began to follow suit devaluing their currency to try to keep up with what China was doing and it's causing really the beginnings of a huge huge mess now that's the picture you're getting in Revelation 13 before we get to 14. now 14 is interesting because chapter 14 kind of take chapter 14 as a story within itself it's a story within the entire story of Revelation because you know we have the story of the Seven Seals I've told you that that that's one story it's like one Gospel of the Book of Revelation then the story of the Seven trumpets that's one gospel the seals end at the same time as the trumpets in the vials are another story within the Book of Revelation but they end again at the very end the the chapter of Revelation 14 basically gives you another story all in itself seven angels seven angels that do some things specifically and we know from the other we know from the seals and the trumpets and the vows we know at what point we know what they're talking about but what's interesting to me is the first angel what he says so let's read Revelation 14 and I'm not going to start at verse 1 right now because I don't want to get into the 144 000 and everything that that means and it has nothing to do with Jehovah witnesses as they think it does but I want you to go with me to verse 6. this is going to start the angels now one of them one of these seven it doesn't say is an angel here it says it's a voice
but if you look at Revelation chapter 19 the voices that came out of heaven for him to write one of those it was an angel anyway so I believe it's seven angels because in the Book of Revelation it was it's always seven angels or seven stars or seven churches Seven Seals seven trumpets seven bottles of Wrath all right let's read this because we're going to talk about the Everlasting gospel in these seven angels but we're going to read starting at verse six and he said the Apostle said I saw another angel fly in the midst of Heaven having the Everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth to every nation and Kindred and tongue and people saying with a loud voice fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment has come and worship him that made Heaven and Earth and the Sea and The Fountains of waters and they're followed in other Angels saying Babylon is Fallen is falling the great City because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication this is not America by the way and we know when this happens this particular event this is a proclamation before it happens but this particular event of Babylon mystery Babylon which is the Roman Catholic church and everything she's built up the one world religion when this collapses we know it's at the seventh vial at the very end so this is an announcement right before this happens by this Angel okay then he says the third angel speaks here and the third Angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worshiped the Beast and His Image and receive his Mark in his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the Lamb and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever they have no rest day or night who worship the beast in His image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name here is the patience of the Saints and here are they that keep the Commandments of God in the faith of Jesus now y'all don't underline that verse In this passage I mean if you want to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ this is a key verse to understand here he says here is the patience of the Saints and here are they that keep the Commandments of God in the faith of Jesus can I just say this this is just free as we get into this there is no Christianity you have no real Christianity if you don't keep the Commandments of God and I want to talk about the Old Testament law I'm talking about the moral law of God in the New Testament you can say all day long you're a Christian but if you're an adulterer if you're a fornicator if you're a homosexual if you're an idolater if you pray in the Mary worshiping idols you're not a Christian
just because you say you won't you're not a Christian just because you say you believe in Jesus this is why we have so much why the church in America is so dead and in the west is so dead and lukewarming backslidden because we have not preached the gospel the Everlasting gospel the true gospel the true Gospel of Jesus Christ demands repentance change and obedience to God in the New Covenant you can start screaming its law all you want to but I don't even have to get out of the New Testament to show you plenty of commands that you are required to keep and a morality that you're required to keep and an intimacy and walk with God that you're required to keep in the New Covenant now don't get me wrong there's plenty in the Old Testament that we're still still supposed to walk in and understand but I'm not getting it that's not what this message is about today but I wanted you to see that these statements are important verse 13 He said and I Heard a Voice which I believe was another angel from Heaven saying unto me right blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth yea the spirit ye saith the spirit that they may rest from their labors and their Works do follow them so he's saying right at this point once he's so blessed are those who who die having not taken the mark who die in the Lord who've walked in the true gospel they've kept the Commandments of God in the faith of Jesus he said blessed are them that die they don't have to put up with anything else anymore I mean think about the Bible saying blessed are those who just died that's got to mean it's bad for those who's still alive right let's keep reading verse 14 he says and I Look to Behold a white cloud and upon the cloud one set like unto the son of man having his head on his head a Golden Crown and in his hand a sharp sickle now this is a vision of Jesus and another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to him that said on the cloud thrust in thy sickle and reek for the time it's come for thee to reap for the Harvest of the earth is right and he that sat on the cloud thrusting his sickle of the Earth and the Earth was reaped and another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven also having a sharp sickle and another angel came out of the altar which had the power over fire and cried with a loud voice to him that had the sharp sickle saying thrust in thy sharp sickle and gather the clusters of wine of the Earth for the grapes are fully ripe and the angel thrust in his sickle into the Earth and gathered the wine of the earth and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God and the wine press was trodden without the city and the blood came to the wine press even if the horses bridles by the space of a thousand and 600 furlongs so that's Armageddon so you notice how it takes us through this little journey
right seven angels but here's here's what we need to grab a hold of that it's so critical to God that there must he's revealing to us that there's a crisis in the world so much so a crisis of of a lack of true gospel preaching that the first Angel he has to send out of these seven is to preach the gospel the Everlasting gospel the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth why is that and I'm going to say very clearly because the church for the most part for the majority has failed I've been preaching on this really for the last several weeks the the message is the flock of Slaughter the Joel Osteen the Rick Warrens the bill hybels and yes even the John macarthurs The Moody Bible Institute I was listening to their radio show yesterday and trying not to throw up they are not preaching the Gospel of Jesus because you talk about Jesus and you throw out a scripture or two here there does not mean you're preaching the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ remember Paul said this Romans 1 16 it's a famous word he said I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation you know why we don't see the power of God in the church world right now especially in the west it's because it's not the gospel that's being preached it's not the gospel being preached by Hillsongs oh Brian Houston his tattooed what's his name uh Carlisle metro sexual looking individual Pastor in his church in New York City or TD Jakes tiptoeing around the homosexual issue let me tell you something a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ does not tiptoe around what is sin what God calls sin and an abomination in fact Paul talked about in First Corinthians 14 that the trumpets of God the messenger of God the message that a minister of God preaches will be clear it will give a clear sound it will not give an uncertain sound if you can walk around a minister be around a minister and you don't know where he stands on issues serious issues of sin and the culture this is somebody trying to play you this Angel has to come and I hear everybody talk about I I've hear I've heard people say you know Jesus said in Matthew 24 this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world and
then the end will come lock we haven't reached everyone in the world so the end can't come let me tell you something mankind this shows us right here in Revelation 14 that mankind am the church in the world has failed and will not finish that job of preaching the true gospel of Christ To The World God has to send an angel to do it at the end foreign because the big churches the big Ministries they talk about Jesus but they do not preach the gospel and I'm going to show you why and how they do it but I love what this Angel defines some he defines some some key characteristics of the gospel and the first one that is completely missing in the American Seeker sensitive Church growth obsessed money obsessed lukewarm I am rich and have need of nothing Church of America the first thing he says this Angel says fear God oh we've been taught by church after church after church Minister after men the only you're not supposed to be afraid of God that doesn't mean that it doesn't mean fear God doesn't mean be afraid guess what I looked up the word in the Greek language that the New Testament was written in the Greek word Phobos where we get our word phobia from what is phobia what's a phobia fear right if you look at the word in the Greek can you put the Greek definition of fear up here you can't okay I'll just tell you what it means it means to be terrified isn't that interesting it doesn't just mean to stand in awe it doesn't mean they're just reverence it means to be terrified scared out of your wits why should we fear God I'm going to tell you the number one reason we should fear God because he explains clearly what's going to happen to you if you don't keep his Commandments if you take the mark of the beast if you submit to the Beast World Government the world system and the mark of the beast he tells what's going to happen if you don't get out of sin in lukewarmness he said to the lukewarm church I will spew you out of my mouth the proof that you don't fear God is that you have no reason if you have no respect for those scriptures and they don't trouble you if you're in sin or lukewarmness listen if you're in sin or lukewarm state the scriptures like I'm quoting you should scare the hell out of you because God's going to keep his word see the problem is and this is how I can
tell either someone's so backslidden and fallen from grace that they're on their way to hell or they've never been saved is because the true one of the true signs that you believe and you have received the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is that you love the scriptures all of them the ones that sound nice and the ones that scare you to death you embrace it all and you say God I love your word I love the truth there it is Phobos fear pretty clear in it dread Terror a little more than on reverence in fact I can tell you that most of the preachers and pastors that preach that nonsense that fear doesn't mean fear and it just means all in reverence how many times you heard that in your life many many let me just tell you something truth be told they don't really stand it on reverence it's a cop-out it's a way to escape fear God what does the bible tell us about the fear of God in the Book of Proverbs somebody ought to know this it's the beginning of wisdom meaning if you don't fear God if you if you're not in Terror that he will keep his word both good and bad about heaven and hell about wrath and judgment and mercy and forgiveness if you don't if you don't fear God then you're a fool see because if if having the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and you don't fear God then you have no wisdom you don't even have the beginning of it and the Bible talks a lot about the the wise and the foolish those we have a parable in Matthew 25 the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins now I know it talks about they that some had more oil than others but let me explain oil is the anointing of the Holy Spirit the spirit of Truth meaning the wives have more truth than the unwise or the foolish but it also shows that the wise had the fear of the Lord they understood the Judgment of God the wrath of God they understood that hell is real they understood what will send a person to hell or sin of Heaven they they reverence God's word his truth and so they had wisdom and they're the ones who made it the foolish you did not fear God enough to be truly prepared
prepared enough they were somewhat prepared which proves they were lukewarm or maybe Church attending they had a little bit of oil but they ran out the fire was lit at one time but it went out and when Jesus came and the Judgment they were shut out which one are you going to be the wise or the foolish well if you're going to be wise then you better fear God and you know what that fear represents as well again I am fully I've said this many times I am fully confident of God's love in my life of his mercy of his desire as a father to do me good and to bless me and to help me and in his desire for me to be washed of my sins through the blood of Jesus and to be forgiven God's desire is good toward us but what does he say he's not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance so his requirement for me to have what he wants me to have the good things is I have to be willing to change I have to be willing to do things his way not my way I have to be willing to turn from sin to leave sin to leave habitual lifestyles of sin and Abomination and lust and perversion on I have to want to leave that and follow Jesus and when he sees that repentance that I feel in my heart both the guilt the compunction and the willingness to make that reformation and that change then I'm open to the mercy and the forgiveness and the cleansing of the blood of Jesus it's conditional folks all these preachers like John MacArthur and all these Moody Bible Institute guys want to tell you it's unconditional that all you have to do is believe and it's automatic no my friend it's not you've been lied to you that is not the Everlasting gospel if you hear a gospel like this believe in Jesus say this prayer and you're good for all eternity and nothing you ever do can can cause you to fall away and go to hell that's a false gospel if you hear a gospel that tells you that Jesus is not God In the Flesh that's a false gospel if you hear a gospel that says you've got to go to Jesus Through Mary that's a false gospel you know what I'm saying I'll prove what I'm saying to you and you take a little drink here because I'm getting fired up first thing he said though fear God
fear God means you believe you believe what he says in his word about the consequences of sin and rebellion and disobedience do you believe it so we got a bunch of Christian universalists you know that they think all all everybody's going to heaven or at least all Christians are just because they name the name of Jesus no but he said this angel said verse six I saw another angel fly in the midst of Heaven having the Everlasting gospel to preach and to them that dwell on the earth to every nation and Kindred and tongue and people saying with a loud voice fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made Heaven and Earth and the Sea so God says fear me enough to turn from Evil and wickedness and sin to believe the scriptures and again I'm going to prove all this to believe what the scriptures say fear me enough to to to have that humility to change to repent to take up your cross to embrace Everything Jesus did and to love him and follow him give him glory which means to honor him as the Creator that's why he said give glory to him that made the heavens and the Earth and everything honor him for who he is Jesus Christ is the creator he said everything was he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not one of the biggest Revelations of true Christianity Jesus Christ is God in the flesh the Mormons don't believe that the Jehovah Witnesses don't believe that the Muslims don't believe that the new agers don't believe that half the Christian promising Christianity doesn't believe that Colossians 2. the fullness of the godhead bodily that's what Jesus Is Right fear God and keep his Commandments well it sounds like you're preaching Old Testament Pastor Dean let me read something to you I want to read this you know my last chapter in the in my book I wrote in 2012 the polluted church is called this the Everlasting gospel and why did I write why did I add this last chapter here I added this last chapter because I knew there are so many things that cause itself the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has nothing close to it but I want to read to you something this is a quote from A.W Tozer and this is in 1963. great revivalist man of God knowledge of the Holy many books he wrote this is what he said in 1963 and think about where we are in 2015 when I read this listen what he said he said we have developed in recent times a peace loving soft-spoken tame and harmless brand of Christian of whom the world has no fear and for whom it has little respect we are careful for instance never to speak in public against any of the false Cults lest we be thought intolerant We Fear to talk against the destructive sins of modern civilization for fear someone will brand us as bigoted and narrow little by little we have been forced off the hard Earth into a religious Cloudland where we are permitted to Wing our harmless way around like swallows at Sundowns say nothing that might stir the ire of the sons of this world that neo-christianity which seems for the time to be the most popular he said it is certainly the most aggressive is very careful not to oppose sin it wins its crowds by amusing them and it converts by hiding from them the full implications of the Christian message A.W Tozer 1963. listen to what Dr Michael Brown said this is in his book how saved are we from 1990 Dr Michael Brown said he wrote when we tell people that they are sinners that there is a consequence to their actions that one day they will be judged for their deeds that without doubt a guilty verdict will come people get enraged but when all we say is only believe no repentance no commitment no change of life required why should there be any offense how are we holding anyone accountable how are we convicting them of their sin we are simply not preaching the whole counsel of God if we were with so much media exposure the American people would be trembling in their boots 1963. 1990 the American church and the western church was already headed into this Abyss of weak mean Christianity let me give you some things about the message we're supposed to preach everybody go with me to First Corinthians 15. and the reason I'm preaching this today is because I want you to be prepared to give people the true gospel because people are going to come
it's already beginning God is in his mercy and his love he's beginning to draw people out of darkness and out of sin and they're going to come to Christians and they're going to ask what must I do to be saved do you even know what are you going to tell them go to church get baptized say five Hail Marys we're gonna tell them pray this sinner's prayer and that's all you need are you prepared if someone walked up to you today and said what must I do to be saved what would you say I had this happen this week young man I planted seeds in years ago about three years ago gave him the gospel gave him about the end time message gave him just the basics we we had several conversations he was still in college at the time but God took those seeds and he watered them I kept praying for him I knew there was a soft spot in his heart and then God used a dream this past week to shake him out of his satanic blindness and God used this dream to show him he was following the serpent the devil now he would probably convinced he was a pretty good guy you know we all have that when we were when we were unsaved I remember I had it well I'm not that you know I'm not murdering people and you know I'm not a gang bang shooting folks I'm not you know I'm not robbing and stealing I'm you know on the scale I'm pretty good person no the Bible says there's none good no not one the Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God the Bible says no matter in that realm without Jesus no matter what area you fall in of sinfulness you're still lost in going to hell you're still going to stand at the Judgment of God and be condemned and cast out if you don't have a real relationship with Jesus Through the true gospel if you don't have that on Judgment Day I don't care how good you've been how bad you've been there is none good no no one I had a young lady standing right here one of the Bible study nights standing right here tell me well I'm a pretty good person you know what I told her I said that's all well and good sweetie but the Bible says there's none good no not one the Bible says all have sinned and that means you and unless you have Jesus and unless you believe that he died on the cross and rose from the dead and you turned to him with all your heart and turn your sin
your sins will not be washed away no matter how good you try to be and I saw our Facebook page still partying on Friday and Saturday night and thinking she's a good person no drunkard will inherit the kingdom of God no fornicator will inherit the kingdom of God no adulterer will inherit the kingdom of God Galatians 5. Ephesians 5. First Corinthians 5 and 6. revelation 21. 6-8 see the proof of the fear of God is you know you know what I'm going to tell you something in my almost 30 years of ministry am I going to say I've never sinned no I've sinned I've blown it big time but one thing I can tell you is that I never went back to the lifestyle of living in it I've had my struggles I've had my days of depression and discouragement and doubt and fear and anger and unforgiveness at people and all kind of things that cause you you know hiccups on the road right but I never went back to being a drunkard or a fornicator or an adulterer habitually you get what I'm saying I never went back that road and the older I got the stronger I would get when I when you know what I'm saying and you don't you can live free from habitual sin you don't have to sin should not it's Romans 6. sin shall not have dominion over you that's not saying it won't sin that you want sin it's saying it should not rule your everyday every week life listen there are a lot of men out there and some women that struggle with pornography because they got hold of it or it got exposed to it when they were young and it it literally put in them it causes there's a there's a chemical reaction that goes on the brain they've discovered it now it creates all these chemicals in your brain when you view pornography especially when you're young it causes this what they call that it's called an erratotoxic your brain literally mixes a bunch of chemicals together and you get addicted to it okay and the devil knows this right but again there's a difference between a Christian man who's trying to not do that and slips up verses of man that he's got to have it every day and he don't care he has no respect of God no fear of God no fear in the scriptures every single day he's going
to look at it because he's got to he's he's addicted he's drawn to it he can't control himself that sin having dominion over you I'm trying to give you an example of something I know that's real life isn't it come on now don't shout me down that's real life sin shall not have if you're a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and you are love him and you're walking after him you it will not rule your life right if it is something's wrong either you didn't get saved or you hadn't understood repentance and deliverance and freedom yet but God wants you to amen I told you turn to First Corinthians right 15 I didn't forget I actually turned there y'all ready here's one of the first things I want to talk about the true Gospel of Jesus Christ I'll give you I'm gonna give you some points this morning just out of my head all right I have no notes except for I brought my book it's what he said verse one First Corinthians 15 verse one moreover Brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also you have received and wherein you stand by which also you are saved if you keep in memory what I have preached unto you unless you have believed in vain oh kind of slams at once they've always saved idea didn't it he said for I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received how that Christ died for our sins everybody say this with me according say according to the scriptures Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day say this with me according to the scriptures everybody see that Paul says first of all I want you to understand the gospel that I preached to you the first thing you need to get a hold of is that Christ died for our sins was buried and on the third day rose from the dead bodily according to the scriptures everybody say this with me you cannot be saved unless you believe the scriptures there's none of this oh I believe in Jesus but I don't believe the Bible no friend where'd you come up with that you're from Shirley McLean no

I got this memory I memorized this about 20 something years ago Leviticus 17 10. you know what it says the blood makes the atonement for our souls [Music] so Jesus blood his blood shed on the cross is what makes an atonement for your soul and this is what he says about it let's read first Peter chapter one start at verse 18. for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptable things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers but with the precious blood of Christ as a lamb without blemish and without spot meaning he never sinned who verily was for ordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you who by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory that your Faith and Hope might be in God seeing that you have purified your souls in obeying the truth how did you purify your souls I'm gonna break this down here in a second now seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit
unto unfaint love of the Brethren see that you love one another with pure heart fervently look at verse 23 being born again not of corruptable seed but of Incorruptible by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever say this with me out loud I am Born Again by the word of God that's how important the scriptures are you don't separate Jesus from the Bible if you have any Jesus that you've separated from the scriptures you have a false Jesus you have a counterfeit Jesus you hear what I'm saying well look at this I want you to see how it breaks down Peter is breaking it down for us right here when he says you were not redeemed with silver and gold but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ so Redemption was bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ set on the cross and his resurrection from the dead right but notice he shows you the repentance that must come in your life because he says just believing in that is not enough you purify your souls you apply the atonement you apply the blood of Jesus you apply the Forgiveness of God through obeying the truth you see that laughs and then he says you're being born again by the word of God everybody with me on that there's no Jesus outside the scriptures see listen to me folks an angel came an angel came to Muhammad and gave him a gospel different than the gospel that Paul had that Peter had an angel came all right [Music] an angel came or is it he claims to Joseph Smith Moroni and gave him gold and tablets to which he wrote a book entitled another Gospel of Jesus Christ got news for you Joseph Smith Mormons Jehovah Witnesses Islam Muslims we don't need another one
but they all try to deny who he is the Muslims say he didn't die on the cross for our sins they say they believe in Jesus do you know that the Muslims say they believe in even Esau they call it believe he was born of a virgin a Virgin Mary they believed that but then they'll say he's not God In the Flesh they'll say he's not the Son of God and they say he didn't die on the cross for our sins that is a another gospel that's a false gospel the Mormons say Jesus is not God that he and Lucifer are brothers and that Jesus just came up with a better idea to say mankind foreign but then you got Joel Osteen saying when Mitt Romney was running for president that Mitt Romney the Mormon was a Christian no he's not he's a Mormon the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Bible and the gospel of Joseph Smith is not they're not the same the gospel or the of the Jesus within Islam that Rick Warren got up at Obama's inauguration and prayed in the name of Isa he prayed in the name of the false Jesus of Islam Rick Warren America's pastor either dumb as a rock or got an agenda you know what I believe you know what I'm saying we have a crisis you have Joel Osteen I saw it 2008 Joel Osteen New York stadium tell everyone in that place it was packed out I don't know how many it'll seat in there how many do you think eighty thousand hundred thousand plus the national TV audience that was live I watched it live you know what he said to everyone in there you are all children of God no Jesus said in John 8. to the Pharisees the religious people who thought they were saying you have your father the devil you are from beneath I am from above she didn't call everybody children of God you're only a child of God if you're born again through the word of God and the spirit of God and you're willing to deny yourself and take up the cross and follow him that's the only way you're a child of God otherwise you are a child of hell you're a child of Satan you're a child of the evil seed you hear me you say I don't like that Pastor Dean well too bad see I don't like to preach some of this stuff but I Fear God so I do right y'all still with me
see I'm going on vacation today but I'm not even in a hurry because this is more important right let me show you something else how important the word of God is go to Luke chapter 24. anybody there thank you you know what you guys I got plenty of flaws in my life and plenty of issues I'm dealing with that I gotta get better at one thing you ought to be glad you got somebody to tell you the truth and not many of us left I'm buying it now not many left and so much so the Angel's gonna have to finish the job the angel of God Matthew 20 I mean Luke 24 I'm sorry Luke 24. once you go down we're going to read this this is after Jesus resurrection and there were some walking on the road to Emmaus and this ought to be familiar passage but I want to focus in on some things and Jesus is walking along with them and they're doubting you know the vision of his resurrection that the women had seen look at verse 25 and then he said Jesus disguised walking with them he said oh fools y'all hear this with me oh fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken of not Christ who have suffered these things and to enter into his glory and beginning at Moses and all the prophets he Jesus expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself and they drew lie into the village whether they went and he made as though he would have gone further but they constrained him saying abide with us for it is today it is toward the evening and the day is far spent and he went into tarry with them and it came to pass as he said it meet with them he took bread and blessed it and broke and gave to them and their eyes were opened and they knew him and he vanished out of their sight now listen to this verse he said they said one to another did not our heart burn within us when he talked with us by the way and while he opened to us the scriptures do you see that did not our heart burn within us now I want you to just jump over he he appears to them in another place verse 44. and Jesus spake unto them these words he
said these are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me then opened he their understanding that they might understand the scriptures and he said thus it is written and thus it behooves Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day and that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem now I want to say this right here being born again is a supernatural experience with God it's not just a mental thing listen to me the first step in being born again and receiving the true Gospel of Jesus Christ the first step is believing what scripture says the story the message of the Gospel the message of the atonement the resurrection believing the scriptures faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God right it's it's too much of distraction now brother faith comes by here and that's Romans 10 17. so faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God so the first step of the true gospel is what is written in the scriptures amen that's the first step and notice he says this I love this because it's not all just mental it's not all just academic there are many people who have mental knowledge mental Ascent they'll say I believe the Bible I believe the the gospel but they're not saying they're not born again and this is the problem because what happens is and I'm seeing this right now I'm going to explain this but what happens is their heart has yet to burn within them if you understand the scriptures and you have the fear of God and you fully understand that all the implications of the Gospel that you're a sinner that you're lost that you're damned that you're judged that you're going to go to Eternal damnation then you deserve it you're not prideful about it or angry about it you understand you deserve it that you're being a criminal in God's Court once you admit you can humbly say I'm a sinner and I deserve the wrath of God the Judgment of God I deserve to go to hell because I have been Wicked according to what he says as wickedness not according to what the world says is wickedness and he says I deserve it and when you hear the scriptures and when you finally say Jesus I will submit to your commands your lordship your rules I will follow you with all my heart I will humble myself and turn repent I will turn from my sins I will
give you my life not just my Wicked sins but I'm going to turn from my own plans and my own selfish ways I'm gonna do what you want you're willing when that Revelation finally comes in through hearing the scriptures the holy spirit will come in and witness in your heart that you are born again your heart will literally burn with the fire of God see this is when these men were saved they were doubting the resurrection until Jesus expounded and explained the scriptures to them and once they understood the scriptures and all the implications of why Christ had to die for our sins and that he rose from the dead and that they should believe with the song what it says about him in the Psalms and then the in the writings of Moses and in the prophets and once they realize we had to believe all that we've been doubting he said did not our hearts born within us as he explained the scriptures they were being born again by the word of God by the scriptures and when you're born again you know it amen you hear me I like what Dr Lee used to say years ago he said if you can be saved and not know it you could lose it and not miss it right you'll figure it out and say [Music] my point is this that point is this when you're truly born again it goes from being what you know and believe to your heart your spirit your soul burning with the presence of God and I really believe the reason most people there's a lot of people that are sitting the church and every week are not saved is because not that they may have a Consciousness that they're Sinners and they may have a Consciousness that they're not close to God as some other people but the problem is the reason they've never been saved is because the full implications of what they must do is never been put upon them let me show you this we're going to go to one more passage here go to Luke chapters 13 and 14. we'll back up a little bit here the full implication of the message are you there actually we'll just go over to verse to chapter 14. I was going to read something 13 but we won't right now Jesus taught Luke 13 25 listen closely
and there went great multitudes with him with Jesus and he turned and said unto them If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brother and sisters yay in his own life he cannot be my disciple now that doesn't mean he wants us to hate people what he's saying is is in comparison not your wife not your children not your family nothing can come before being my disciple nothing money not fame not Fortune not work nothing can come before loving me and being my disciple can I say this being a disciple is more than what you believe in your head being a disciple what you do with your life every day I can tell you who let me follow you around for a week I'll tell you who you're you're a disciple of right here's what he says verse 27. and whosoever does not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple for which of you intending to build a tower siteth not down first and counted the cost whether he will have sufficient to finish it but happily after he has laid the foundation is not able to finish it behold they began to mock him saying this man began to build but what was not able to finish and how many people have begun a walk with Jesus but haven't finished was a lot verse 31 he says or what king going to make war against another king said it's not down first and consult with whether he will be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand or else while the other is yet a great way off he's sending ambassadors and desires conditions of Peace look at verse 33 . so likewise whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath he cannot be my disciple oh boy see we have the stories that Jesus gave in the Bible Mark chapter 10 I'm not going to turn there Mark chapter 10 a Rich Young Ruler comes to Jesus and said what must I do to inherit eternal life you know what Jesus said Jesus didn't say believe believe believe in me and say this prayer that's not what Jesus said Jesus said you know the law keep the Commandments and so the man willing to say well I'm a pretty good person I've kept these Commandments from my youth Jesus named all the Commandments though except for one that love the Lord your God with all your heart soul mind and strength because he knew he hadn't done that one so I'll tell you what he said you you've been a pretty good person you want to be saved you want eternal life
you'll give up everything of your life all your plans all your possessions your work all your all your ideas of what you want to do and come follow me and you'll live forever that's the gospel that's what Jesus preached and that's why most people are not saved and ready to go to heaven because they're holding on to something I gotta have this boyfriend or this girlfriend or this mistress oh or I gotta have this this possession I've got to have this job so I can get this thing oh lord well I'll follow you I'll go to church when I get time let me say this going to church is not mean you're a disciple that's just part of it small part really I'm more concerned about what you do Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday then just on Sunday morning right Jesus had a woman come to it I want this water this water of life that I drink and I'll never thirst again I'll see I want to live forever I want eternal life I mean you you know what we were in a stadium full of people I said how many people want to live forever one eternal life in heaven everybody wants to go to heaven everybody wants eternal life everybody wants to go to heaven how many people want to do what Jesus said you got to do that's when we separate the sheep from the goats right there right foreign God's love for you and his Mercy he does want everyone to go but it's up to you God God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth that's what the Bible says but not all will most want in fact will you believe yeah into Jesus Christ of the Bible according to the scriptures will you fear God enough to depart from your sins and your selfish plans and take up the cross and follow him with your whole life see the reason I can preach this you guys listen to me I can preach this because in the world's eyes I was a teenager when I was 18 years old can you imagine at 18 years old first year in college going and having a major modeling
company immediately sign you to a contract immediately rush you into screen tests and almost overnight boom not only am I going to be in the modeling industry and make 200 an hour in 1986 starting out 200 an hour but after I did the screen test for all my children and One Life to Live and all the soap operas I thought I might get a part in a soap opera and that pays pretty good I'm lost I'm I'm totally away from God I I'm living in sin I'm drinking I'm partying I'm doing drugs cocaine marijuana I'm just I'm living Reckless I and then I get the phone call no joke this was in this was in April March April 1987. I get the phone call uh we got a part for you in a movie Bruce Willis movie they're going to be filming out in Los Angeles first Die Hard got a part for you I knew who Bruce Willis was back then I was like hey man all my friends do you know that my friends and people that I knew I had from the modeling agency I already had the the Hollywood headshots that you have to have you know with your name and all your your weight your height your eye color and all that stuff it's a black and white headshot and you know you see them people post them in in like their stores they get people were already getting my autograph so they said so we can have it before you're famous literally friends and acquaintances were saying please sign your picture for me and at that time I wanted to play college football which I was about to I wanted to uh go into pre-med and and I wanted I was very interested in becoming a doctor and I had the brain I had the the intellect to do it but when God got a hold of me when I was 19 years old that next year when he finally got a hold of me and convicted me and he said Son you can have everything the world has to offer and go to hell you can surrender your life to me and live forever and the conviction of sin and the realization that I had a choice to make my own way or his way and see the Holy Spirit and the guy that was witnessing to me made the gospel clear to me I couldn't have both see we got a gospel today that says you can have both and go to heaven no you cannot you hear me and when I gave my life to Jesus not only did I repent and turn from the sin
but I turned from all of that the world had planned for me I mean you know I look back on it and I know the devil was just opening doors for me because he knew he could see God's plan for my life he could see that God's hand was upon me and his call was upon me so it's like I'm going to open these doors for him try to get him as far away from the church and from Jesus and from everything else that I can get him and I knew I knew God showed me if I went to Hollywood I was going to be River Phoenix Heath Ledger I was going to be dead at 28 years old or less because I had no breaks folks you guys think y'all can outstand me new there was no breaks was no slow down put me put put hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in my hand from doing movies I like what Deion Sanders profound most profound statement ever heard from a football player you know at one point he was the highest paid player in professional sports because he played baseball and football and Deion Sanders said this he goes you know a lot of people think money changes you he said no money doesn't change you it just makes you more of what you already are I said whoa preach that Dion if you're an adulterer and you get a bunch of money you're gonna be more of an adulterant if you're a drunker or a party animal and you get more money you're going to be more of a party if you if you got a deal an issue with drugs you're gonna be more why do you think these rich folks and even people win the lottery and all these Hollywood star why don't you think they're miserable suicidal depressed because all that stuff does not give you forgiveness of sins peace in your soul hope for eternity but you cannot have the eternal life and the hope of all eternity if you will not turn loose of everything in this world and again I'm not saying it's wrong to have stuff the stuff better not have you when the stuff or some person or something or some sin becomes more important than obeying God's word you are now an idolatery you must take up your cross and follow Jesus you must take up your cross and follow him with all your heart and really until you're ready to do that
you could come up here I could give altered I could give it off a call every week and if if you're not ready to really surrender everything you can come up here and pray and pray with me every week foreign thank you again transformation by the true gospel is completely completely transformed into a new creature amen hear what I'm saying to you today if you don't have people come to you if you're good now listen I promise a hot stock if you're good capacity Jesus is absolute Lord Of My Life tell us people like to quote that verse in Romans 10 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart and God's raising from the dead you shall be saved but let me just tell you something you think you can just say that and leave that but notice he says if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus that means he's Supreme when you call him Lord you're saying Lord you are the supreme ruler Commander God Of My Life but if you say that prayer and you don't do it you are a liar you know what I'm saying so then you nullify it because Jesus even Jesus said why do you call me Lord Lord and do not the things that I say don't play that game right you sound good I hope so if you are good that when people come to you and say Aaliyah what do I do to be saved don't tell them just believe in Jesus and pray this little prayer with me you got to tell them you got to believe he died for your sins you got to believe he rose from the dead but you also got to take up your cross turn from your sins repent and give him your whole life and follow him and Obey him
see the difference I didn't say anything about saying Hail Marys I didn't say anything about taking the Eucharist I didn't say anything about oh you got to tell them it's got to be all or nothing you hear what I'm saying that's the gospel why do you think see the Lord we started out in Revelation 14. the first angel of those seven angels against the Everlasting gospel fear God depart from your sin the word fear God you're looking in Proverbs fear God means depart from iniquity those who fear God depart from iniquity right and he says fear God give glory to him who made the heavens and the Earth worship Him and then the third by the third Angel the third Angel is saying do not take the mark of the beast do not bow do not worship the Beast the devil the system don't take it there are people going to take that so they can feed their family don't take it the third Angel saying you take it you're going to suffer you're going to burn in hell forever don't do it you see I love it the Everlasting gospel and then he's warning you hear something you better not do you better keep this commandment right here or you won't make it isn't it amazing how the message is consistent you can't do anything you want you can live any way you want you can't disobey God and there's certain Commandments that if you disobey you will be damned forever so it's not a game amen now this morning here's what we're going to do I'm gonna give you an opportunity when we sing that we'll play that uh empty me again I want everybody to stand and here's what I'm gonna do this is gonna be the altar call this morning and I'm only going to give you three minutes or whatever the song is it might be three minutes and few seconds you've heard the gospel if you haven't surrendered completely to the Lord and you want to this morning one of the first steps is making that public confession so I'm going to give you an opportunity those of you listening by Blog Talk Radio text me email me
but if you've made if you're going to make that decision I'm going to let you I'm gonna let you take that first step because that phone call I got from that young man this week he goes what do I need to do and I explained what I just explained to you shorter version he was getting ready to go to work but I explained the total surrender and I said the first step he goes well what's the first step and I said well first you need to confess your sins to God and ask Jesus to forgive you and be your lord and savior I said so we're going to pray that prayer I said but remember if you don't mean business and you're not going to do it from here on out then that prayer is nullified he's like I understand so if you want to pray that prayer I'll give you three minutes if you want to pray it today if you don't that's fine but I'm going to give you an opportunity let's let's play this and if you want to come this morning
