You may be seated this morning. Hallelujah. Want to welcome everyone. Um before we get into the PowerPoint this morning, I want to go to this scripture. Now, y'all know I don't do holiday messages. This is really not that not one either. But I am going to refer back to the resurrection of Jesus. And this is some things that we don't think about. But go to Matthew 28. And uh okay, Matthew 28 since the phone told me to try again. And we're going to start at verse one. And this is what it says. It says in the end of the Sabbath, of course, the Passover, it began to dawn toward the first day of the week. What day is that? Sunday morning. came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the supplr or the tomb where Jesus had been put. Behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. And I've been there where that happened. You can still see the track where the stone was and the cut into the side of the rock where that several ton rock was rolled back. His countenance was like lightning. His raignment was white as snow. And for fear of him, the keepers did shake and became as dead men. Uh it means they fell down. And the angel said unto the
women, "Fear not, for I know that you seek Jesus which was crucified. He is not here for he is risen as he said. Come and see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, he goeth before you into Galilee, and there ye shall see him, lo, I have told you." And they departed quickly from the supplr with fear and great joy, and did run to bring word uh his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "All hail." And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him. Then said Jesus unto them, "Be not afraid. Go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and they shall uh and there shall they see me. Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priest all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, and they gave large money unto the soldiers, uh saying, Say ye, his disciples came by night, and stole him away while he slept. and this uh and if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and secure you. So they took the money and did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. Now, what we don't tend to think about was around Jesus's atoning death for our sins and his resurrection was uh afterwards after he rose from the dead, there was a great conspiracy. Somebody say conspiracy. Conspiracy. See, the CIA's turned that into a dirty word. But a conspiracy is when powerful people, rich people get together and conspire and agree to lie about something. Oh, right. But no, they couldn't do that. They wouldn't do that. Not all the chief priests and the elders would know, absolutely know the truth that Jesus rose from the dead. But pay money to soldiers to lie. If this gets this conspiracy gets to the governor's ears, don't worry. We'll we'll take care of that, too. Powerful people with money paying off people to lie about the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Think about that. But somehow today we got a church full of folks that think that that rich people don't get together. False religious people in false religions don't get together. Pay lots of money to certain people to lie. Oh, wait a minute. No, we believe that pastor thing. We believe that the governments of the world lie to us, but we seem to believe they're space agencies.
There is a huge disconnect in the church world. See, the conspiracy to convince you that God's creation is not the way the Bible says is a conspiracy against the Lord. It is against Jesus. Because Jesus is not only the savior, the redeemer, the one who died on the cross and rose from the dead for our sins. He is the creator. In the beginning was the word. The word was with God and the word was God. And all things were made by him. Right? And he says, and the reason I read Psalm 138 this morning, he says he's magnified his word above his name. Now remember, he said if anybody takes the name of the Lord in vain, he will not be guiltless. I mean, that's a serious thing to take God's name in vain like they do in the movies. Cussing, using Jesus' name as a cuss word. And remember, out of all the names of God Almighty, the true creator, the name above every name is the name of [clears throat] Jesus. Right? Yet God says here in Psalm 138 that he's magnified his word above his name. Let me tell you why. And and let me tell you also why he promised that he would preserve the true word of God, his words, his inspired, infallible words. He said he would preserve them to all generations. Why? Because this is a legal document. It says that this is a will and testament. This is the will and testament of Jesus Christ. This tells you everything you need to know. You know, they want to argue about whose land it is over there in Jerusalem. David bought it long time ago, paid full price. And guess what? So this is the deed tells you who who owns it. King David. Who's the descendant of King David according to the flesh? Jesus. Not Muhammad. Somebody say, "Amen." Amen. All right. Say, "Pastor, why you going here?" All right. We're gonna start this today. I've entitled this today the church of NASA. I'm really sick of it. I'm really sick of it. But listen, you need to understand that this belief system, the heliocentric belief system, the belief system that we live on a flying spinning water ball in uh
the uh everexpanding endless space that the Bible does not teach that this is a it's a religion. Y'all understand that, right? And that's why I put them in a pastor full of sheep headed to the church of NASA with a steeple of the old Saturn 5 Apollo mission because these people worship this religion. And the problem is just like the Israelites of old, what what of their biggest issue was, it wasn't that they didn't believe in God Almighty, Jehovah, the creator. It's that they added stuff in with it. They added idolatry and pagan religion and belief systems into their worship. It was mixture. And that mixture was idolatry. And I'm just going to tell you right now, enough's enough. I've been a little too nice. Now, Pastor Dean, you ain't been nice. Yes, I have been. I've been way too nice because I knew at some point everybody's ask me what I Oh, look, the Artemis 2 miss. Oh, the new show, right? The new NASA show. I'm supposed to be somehow impressed. And they're already screwing it up, right? But we as Christians, as Christians, it really does come down to you're going to get the pagan mixture out of your life and believe the words of God over the words of men. I don't care if they ride pink elephants to [snorts] the moon and show us 4K video of it. Y'all understand it's a show. Now, I will say this. Let's just go this technically in the biblical model of creation and what we know about the ether and its density at 73 miles and how they plow into it. And I think now I think there's less friction in the ether than there is in our air. But let me just say this. They could take a rocket, plow into the ether in their second stage, and fly toward the moon because the moon is inside the firmament. It's not outside the firmament. So, would it be possible for them to do a flyby? Yes, of course. Absolutely. But I think it's funny that they're not trying to land on it. Think that one would be too hard. again.
They they saw how bad that went last time for their their movie effects, right? Um but they'll probably try that here in the future. They're losing too many people. Now, here's the reason all this kind of started. I'm I'm just, you know, this was a comment on a post that wasn't even about anything theological or biblical. Um, but this guy Dan Lagoon, which he may be a troll, I don't know what he who he is. He says, "I'm scrolling and reading about the achievements of the Aremis 2 mission when I came across Dean Odal for Alabama. Sorry, but that cracked me up." And I said, "NASA is your church, religion. Jesus, and the Bible are mine." I said, "I can't uh help you choose to believe the NASA show over God's word. I believe God's word and what I can prove on my own. So he comes back and thanks for the reply. No, NASA's is not a church nor a religion, but only factbased [laughter] engineering and science culminating in great achievements. My faith is still in Jesus. power. Thanks to you, Robkea and others like you, I have been able to deconstruct my evangelical Christian faith and realized that many parts of the Bible are questionable and can be misused to promote and teach false teachings. So, I told him, "You proved my point perfectly. Satan's deceptions via NASA and other government agencies have made you believe their narrative over God's word, what God's word clearly teaches. You haven't experienced space or space travel yourself. Yet you choose to believe the fables of astronauts. I said faith in Jesus is based on believing the Bible to be the inspired infallible word of God. There is no such thing as faith in Jesus without faith in the word of God being the absolute truth. We cannot know the Lord unless we hear the word. We cannot have faith. That's why I taught that last week about faith. There's no faith unless you have what? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And it's by the preaching of the word that God has chosen to save people that don't believe. Right? It's all connected to the word. And of course, Jesus is the living word. Now, if he's the living word and the written word is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, preserved by God himself, which are you going to choose, but but I saw it on TV. I saw a documentary on Bigfoot, too, on TV. That's right. Superman, Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman, Diana, who actually Diana is the Roman version of the Greek goddess Artemis.
All right, but I want you to see Dan didn't have anything to say after that. I want to play this little this little video. You want to see some worship of a of NASA and technology? [cheering] [music] [cheering] [cheering] This woman down here is about to pass out like Elvis walked in the room right here. right now folks. Let me just say this. We have as human beings greatly advanced in our technology. I believe that advancement in technology has not been all of our own wisdom and ingenuity. It's pretty clear I think that the fallen angels have assisted us in this progression very actually tell you the truth very fast progression of technology but here's what's happening mankind has started to worship literally worship technology it has become a god it and whenever you put anything above god or his Third, it is an idol. Period. I don't care what it is. So, you NASA fanboys out there, understand you, oh, I believe in Jesus. Well, yeah, but you got a big idol, too. Big old rocket idol. You might as well be bowing down to it. Right now, let's look at this. Let's look at this scripture. This is second Peter 1 16-21. I love the word of God because it's true. Men are liars. There's a lot of them. Johnny got in trouble for calling NASA liars, but we're going to find out. Do they ever lie? Is it all based on facts and engineering? We'll see in a second. Now, do they build fancy rockets that do things? Yes, absolutely do. That takes a great amount of engineering and technological skill. I am not diminishing that. the things that they have done when it comes to guidance, rocket and and missiles and all of that stuff for reconnaissance missions over our uh enemies of our country. All of that has been necessary and I've gone through I'm probably one of the only ones that has spent hour dozens of hours I don't even know how many going through
Freedom of Information Act documents. I know what NASA does. Okay, they build balloon satellites. They deploy them in the ether. I mean, I was rereading all this stuff last night that I have in my PowerPoints over the last 11 years, and I was like, "Wow, just read all this stuff and you know exactly how all of this stuff works." So, I'm not diminishing what they do. But I am what they tell you they do is a different story. And you got to understand, they don't get $85 million a day budget just to have little rocket shows like this one. They do military reconnaissance applications and things of that nature. Okay? High altitude ether level stuff. Okay? But what they do is they use all this to try to deceive the world into believing their religion. And their religion for the most part most of them are absolute Satanist, Freemasons, pagans, newagers, they are not Christians. Now I know they say some of them are Christians. Now let me tell you right now, anybody can claim to be a Christian. We've had Satanists, witches, uh false prophets of all kind, federal agents come in here and all they're always going to say they're a Christian, right? Anybody can say it. I need some time to see if you live it. And if you're telling me lies contrary to this book, I don't care what's you claim to be. Right? Many will rise, Jesus said, and in my name deceive many. All right? You need to understand that people lie and people will lie for money. Didn't we see that? Didn't we just read that? Gave them a bunch of money to the soldiers. Y'all going to tell this a lie? Here's some money. Well, here NASA, here's 85, you know, million a day, right? We're talking about into the billions. You think they're going to tell you how they're using all that money? Come on. Oh, it's just what it took to build a rocket and go do a little flight. Yeah, that costs some money, but not $85 million a day. No, no, no, no. Right. Yeah, let us get let us get a contract. [laughter] He says, this is what the Apostle Peter said right before he died. He knew he was about to die for his faith. So, this is a man's last words right here. And he says this, "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables." Somebody say, "Cunningly
devised fables." Who would do that? But he says, "We don't follow those. When we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty." Now, let me say this to you. The apostles were the eyewitnesses. The 70, the 500, they were eyewitnesses of his majesty. But I want you to understand the context in which he's talking here when he starts talking about cunningly devised ta uh fables. He uses the word the coming of the Lord, talking about the perosia in Greek, meaning the second coming of Jesus. So I I I believe the Holy Spirit through him is saying especially you people that are going to be living in the last days close to the second coming of Jesus better be careful about cunningly devised fables stories urban legends says for we received of God the father honor and glory when there came such a voice to him from the excellence glory. So he's talking about the mount of transfiguration. This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven, we heard when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more uh sure word of prophecy where to you do well that you take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star rise in your hearts. Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scriptures of any private interpretation. You don't get to say Genesis chapter 1 is metaphors and they just didn't know what they were talking about. Ah, the firmament is just it's just symbolic. I've heard that one. I've heard there's five firmaments from a Christian creation ministry. I'm like, five? Where are you getting that from? The Bible. It's not there. The Bible's not of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Y'all understand that the word of God, the word of God, if anything, I hope you remember about me is that the word of God comes first. context, definitions, grammar, true biblical hermeneutics. But look at this. I love this. This is the word here for cunningly devised, right? Look at this. It says, of course, to devise cleverly, right? But in a sinister way to get that world acceptation means to get people to believe it.
In a sinister way. Think about the masses of people losing their minds over space travel because a long time ago they started they you know you talk about these science fiction geeks that love like you know Star Wars and Star Trek and all this stuff. It's like it's called science fiction fables [snorts] for a reason. It's funny too that usually all of the things that they try to perpetrate on us as being real was first in science fiction. Okay? And then later they put it out there for us. But notice it says in a sinister way. Somebody say sinister. o we don't follow cunningly sinister devised fables that are widely accepted. Y'all hear? Y'all see that? Widely accepted deceptions. Remember Jesus said many false prophets will rise and deceive many. I'm going to tell you there's a lot of technological prophets out there. Y'all hear? Y'all hear what I'm putting down this morning? Here we go. And of course the word uh fables is the word mythos or mythos muthos uh through the idea of tuition meaning it's going to cost you money like 85 million a day for a fiction though. omebody say fiction. And you know the new thing now is this stuff that's fiction with little truth thrown in there. See, so you got to be careful. Like the movie Forest Gump. Lot of true history of Alabama history's in there. I know the guy whose uncle that wrote the book Forest Gump. In fact, Bubba Gump's named after this guy that I know [laughter] in the movie. Buford Blue. Yeah, that's his name. Buford. I know Buford. I kid you not. I know him. But let me tell you within that story what it's made up. It's a myth. Forest Gump didn't exist. A lot of the stuff that you know Forest Gump never played for the University of Alabama that didn't happen. There's no run Forest Run. All right. But did George Wallace stand in the door of the University of Alabama to try to stop black students from going in? Yes, he did that. So, you got to be careful with these people that mix what?
truth and fiction together because it's again trying to what? Deceive many. All right. All scripture, somebody say all. All. All scripture is given by inspiration of God. Meaning God breathed, God moved upon all. Somebody say all. All. That means Genesis 1. That means Job 38. That means Psalm 19 all the way to Revelation. Everybody hear me? And the moment that you say, "No, they just didn't know. They didn't know what we know today. We have new information because I I I read NASA's website. So, we have new information today." Therefore, these guys just wrote what they knew. They weren't writing what God was moving upon them to write. The moment you say that is absolute blasphemy. You understand? It is unbelief. It is taking the word of God and making it none effect. You have now magnified your tradition above the word. And when you do that, the word of God becomes none effect to you. See, just like this guy, that guy Dan Lagoon, he's losing his faith over this. He's lost his faith in the word because he believes the narrative of the heliocentric worldview. Why? Because it doesn't match the Bible's teaching about creation in the universe. This is a serious matter. See, a lot of people go, "Well, don't worry about the shape of the earth or the firmament or don't worry about." Oh, really? It's determining some people's destiny, their eternal soul, their salvation because they are choosing to believe the priest of scientism instead of the word of God. Let me just tell you this.
