Well, I want to introduce you guys to Pastor Wally, and I'm going to try to say it right Olegide Olegide okay. I got it takes me a minute sometimes. I got it takes me a while to remember Names faces I get man. I get those But we've known a pastor Wally here for a while they They would bring it started bringing a whole crew from Arizona to Sky Falls and into church sometime and He went through our school of ministry and as soon as when he graduated I knew that I was supposed to ordain him as a pastor and We just went ahead and did that and I want to tell you something I I know he's a little nervous about this tonight, and I know But I know this about pastor Wally pastor Wally hears from God Pastor Wally's a man and fasting and prayer He is God speaks to him and gives him visions and dreams and prophetic words and and he is He's a very humble, and he's a very Genuine Christian so that's why I asked him to speak at Skyfall so brother. It's all yours Give God the glory This is God's message not mine Even the title came from him I knew about what I'll be speaking When pastor Dean first told me I should speak at Skyfall I Knew I'll be speaking about the fear of the Lord However, we're in past Nancy Called me to ask me what a title of my message will be the Lord confirmed and gave me this title and it's been hectic trying to get everything together because The Lord gave me so much I didn't know how to Put it together. You know But I'm gonna try my best and Just lean on his strength Amen Yes, the title of this message is dumbing down of the fear of the Lord dumbing down We talk about things being dumbed down all the time but the actual definition is to lower the level of difficulty and the intellectual content of something Such as a textbook
And based on what we've been studying here and what my brothers have been presenting we know that textbook of life is what the Bible and the devil is always trying to Attack God's Word and dumb it down so that we do not have a solid foundation Also to lower the general level of intelligence in something in this case is to lower intelligence in the fear of the Lord and to lower the level of difficulty and intellectual content of the fear of the Lord I'll start off by sharing a dream That the Lord used to get my attention to snap me back from Luke warmness This is a painting from a co-worker when I saw this painting she made it just Reminded me of the dream that the Lord gave me to snap me back from my Luke warmness from One save always saved doctrine and I'll just go ahead and share the dream real quick So it was in around 2007 my first daughter or really I was just born and I woke up on a train and not train I realized I was going to hell and I was wondering how did I get on this train? because I was I've been a Christian all my life since I was a child, but Raised Catholic my dad was Anglican my mom Catholic But I believed in the Lord I had a relationship with him originally until the the enemy started Dumbing down what the Lord was doing in my life started Changing it and so I was surprised that I'm on this train going to hell So I got out of my seat on this train. I found myself on this train Like why was I on this train? I thought to myself then I turned my attention to the other people around me as I got up They all look they all look dazed while on this train just moving to the motion rocking the motion of the train and I realized These people don't know that this train is going to hell. So I start
Shaking them, you know Wake up This train is going to hell. Don't you know this train is going to hell. I kept at it for a while and nobody budged So I'm thinking to myself, you know, if they don't want to get off the train, I'm gonna get off the train I don't want to go to hell. So I walked out of my seat walked into the aisle and I started yelling stop the train stop the train and this guy Conductor the train conductor shows up comes in through the next car and Asked me where my ticket was He looked like the guy in the movie 300 hunchback guy demonic looking asked me for my for my ticket and so I I pulled out my ticket from my breast pocket and handed it to him with my left hand and Then he grabbed my hand. He had a machine in his hand and tried to inject something into my hand his machine malfunctioned When I realized what he was trying to do I pulled my hand back and I just screamed as loud as I could in his face stop the train And look me straight in the eye and He stopped the train and then he mumbled something on that is his breath. I'm gonna get you later And I'm like, oh no, I am NOT getting back on this train so I got off the train and My daughter appeared in my arms. She was still an infant at the time And so when I woke up from this dream, I began to realize something is really wrong because I thought I was a Christian And yet I'm going to hell So that began my journey in 2007 to find out what happened and How I got off the path that the Lord has set me on since I was a child I want us to Quickly look at the definition of the fear of the Lord and we're going to go into the scriptures for that The fear of the Lord is clean and during forever The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether Psalm 19 verse 9 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom a good understanding have all day that do his commandments He sprays endure forever the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction the fear of the Lord is to hate evil pride and arrogance II
the evil way and the forward mouth do I hate the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and The knowledge of the holy is understanding in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence and his children Shall have a place of refuge these are all Scriptures that specifically tells you what the fear of the Lord is Proverbs 8 13 the fear of the Lord is to hate evil pride and arrogance II and the evil way and the forward mouth do I hate Proverbs 9 10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is understanding Proverbs 14 26 in in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence and His children shall have a place of refuge The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life to depart from the snares of death the fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom and before honor is humility and wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times and strength of salvation The fear of the Lord is his treasure now the enemy Wants to deceive us He wants to dumb down The foundation of our faith which I believe Strongly now is the fear of the Lord the fear of the Lord is Spirit in Isaiah chapter 11 verses 2 and 3 Tells us that and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him This is the prophecy about the Messiah about Jesus says and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom and understanding the spirit of counsel and might the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord in Revelations 4 5 it talks about the seven spirits of God It's listed here again the spirit of the Lord 1 the spirit of wisdom 2 spirit of understanding 3 spirit of counsel for my 5 Spirit of knowledge 6 and the spirit and of the fear of the Lord, right? and then Isaiah does something he emphasizes one of them and Shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord
Quick understanding there if we look it up now blue letter Bible on the outline of biblical usage it tells us the delight and Shall make him of delight in the fear of the Lord Jesus will delight in the fear of the Lord of all those attributes of the Holy Spirit One of them becomes his delight When we delight something we pursue it The enemy has been at this for a long time Just attacking the fear of the Lord the foundation in the garden We see here that God gives a command he provides Adam and Eve their needs One and he also provides them shelter he gave them all the trees give them food and he gave them a command and The Lord God commanded man saying of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shall not eat of it for in the day that thou it is There thou shall surely die So he provided for them and then he gave them shelter that shelter Was to put the fear of Lord in them was to give them a consequence To protect them. That's what shelters do right is to protect you Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made and he said unto the woman Yea had God said first he cast doubt Yea had God said yea shall not eat of every tree of the garden and then he criticizes the character of God That God has not provided for you. Are you guys starving out here? But we know that's a lie. He is baiting Eve at this point and Woman said unto the serpent we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden But of the fruit of the trees which is in the midst of the garden God had said ye shall not eat of it neither shall ye touch it lest ye die So she goes into defensive mode now. She's trying to defend her God because her confidence is now broken because he Positives something to her that was false and we all know when we are trying to defend ourselves Desperately sometimes we tend to lie and this is what she does and now Eve is no longer standing on the fear of the Lord She's no longer standing on truth Because she has lied now there's the open door and the enemy takes advantage of this and The serpent said unto the woman ye shall not surely die for God don't know that in a day ye eat therefore
Then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as God's knowing good and evil So he lies to her After he misrepresents God Gets Eve to leave the shelter of the fear of the Lord This is how we fall into sin the lust for the world and when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and The tree to be desired to make one wise She took of the fruit thereof and did it and gave also unto her husband with her and he did it That's Genesis 3 verse 6 Look at 1st John 2 16 says for all that is in the world the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes And the pride of life is not of the father But is of the world Once we step outside of the shelter of the fear of the Lord The enemy has access to us and that's exactly what he's trying to get us to do He wants to dumb down our knowledge God doesn't really mean what he's saying, you know He will not hurt you. He loves you He's not really serious about that command. You don't have to take him seriously Genesis 3 7 and the eyes of them both were opened and they knew that they were naked and they sued fig leaves together and made themselves a bird Now they are shamed and they've lost their confidence so death comes in Ecclesiastes 10 8 he that dig at a peak shall fall into it and we saw break it a hedge a Serpent shall bite him Adam and Eve Broke that hedge that shelter that God gave them Which was his command his law to protect them and they broke it. So the serpent had access to them To bite them to destroy them to introduce death Bible tells us that he has come to steal kill and destroy is a Liar and the father of it Ezekiel 18 28 the soul that seen it it shall die So once the fear of the Lord has been broken then sin comes in and death follows after that Everybody say but God God had a plan Says but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot
will very Was for ordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you and me First Peter 1 19 20 You see God already knew what was going to happen When he created before he created them and not already designed a way for salvation For restoration to bring us back to him the fear of the Lord is safety When we see it in these two verses Proverbs 14 26 and 27 in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence and His children shall have a place of refuge The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life to depart from the snares of death As long as Adam and Eve could stay in the fear of the Lord They would have retained their confidence She would have been able to Dispel the devil they won't have been hiding naked in a bush somewhere Their children won't have had to grow out grow up outside the garden See God created all these things for them and they lost it because they stepped outside the fear of the Lord The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life to depart from the snares of death No matter what kind of traps the enemy can set for you if you stay within the confines of the shelter of the fear of the Lord He can do nothing What is the enemy doing today? to get us to Step outside the fear of the Lord to dumb down the knowledge of the fear of the Lord in our lives and these are specific attacks He attacks the deity of Christ We look at first John chapter 4 verse 3 This is the test right Says and every spirit that confess it not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God and This is the spirit of Antichrist Whereof he had heard that it should come and even now already Is it in the world? so the name of Jesus means Jehovah is salvation and so that test really is Has Jehovah the Messiah who is salvation come in the flesh? Basically is Jesus God the foundation of all false doctrines Tries to tear this down that Jesus is not God and the reason for that Is so that you take this scripture for granted
John 3 16 the most popular scripture most coded scripture in the world because when you Read this scripture most people think wow God loves me so much But there's another aspect of this scripture that should scare you that should terrify you That should give you pause For God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten son They attacked that right the doctrine of the only begotten. This is the tactic of the enemy that will so ever believe it in him should not perish But have everlasting life When I came to understand because growing up, I remember saying to people because I grew up as a Catholic and I learned how to read by reading author s Maxwell's illustrated ten volume Bible story beautiful books true to the scriptures But after that someone handed me in niv Bible and so things they going south from there. There is no escape once you stepped out of the fear of the Lord and You continued out down that path and not turn back. There is no escape Hebrews 2 1 to 3 says therefore we ought to give The more earnest heed to the things which we have heard Lest at any time. We should let them sleep for if the word spoken by angels was steadfast and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward How shall we escape if we neglect such so great salvation? Which at the first began to be spoken of by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him Hebrews 10 26 and 27 for if we seen willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth There remain it no more sacrifice for sins But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fire indignation which shall devour the adversaries the first scripture right there is Basically comparing the Old Testament and the New Testament. There's this deception that the enemy has managed to Perpetrate which is the Old Testament the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the new right he's
fearful in the Old Testament and temperamental and mean When New Testament is all love But that's not what this scripture is telling us. In fact, it's telling us the contrary If the punishment was harsh in the Old Testament How much more do you think the punishment will be now? after God himself Came down as a man and bled out on the cross for you This is scary. It's it's it gives you pause when you approach God with caution or reverence The fear of the Lord and we'll go back to the topic of hell Therefore my people are gone into captivity because they have no knowledge and Their honorable men are famished and their multitude dried up with thirst therefore hell are then lasted herself and open her mouth without measure and their glory and Their multitude and their pump and he that rejoiced it shall descend into it Note there says because they have no knowledge We've covered that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge so if the enemy can attack the foundation of your knowledge foundation of your wisdom Understanding of God the knowledge of what is holy then he can bring down the whole house We don't want him to do that. So we need to know what how the enemy does this his tactics Bible tells us not to be Unaware not to be ignorant of the devil's devices his schemes his methods We have to understand this Pastor Dean told me to share something because I Spoken to him over the phone About something that happened three years ago I've been investigating why I was on that train Where I went wrong. It happened in 2007 the dream and I Constantly started watching videos because then weren't going to church In fact, we started going to church because of that and then the enemy started to pursue us from church to church The first church or the gift of the spirits are not for today So we had to leave that church Went to the next one and they tried to separate myself and my wife
Oh, you need to be going to that church and she needs to be going to that church It was a predominantly African American church even though the power the power of God was in that church, but they had some problems and When they tried to split myself and my wife, we knew this is not where We need to be because the Lord put us together Quick testimony. I had a dream about my wife Before I left Nigeria. I saw her in a dream God showed me who my wife was and When she first met me, she knew that I was a husband. In fact, she told her sister That's my husband right there and she had not spoken to me So we knew that God put us together. So when This church is trying to separate us. We're like no This is not where we need to be went to the next church and then we got attacked there my daughter was barely two months three months old Aurelia and Because of Mongolian pigmentation at the base of our spine They automatically thought it was abuse. They called the police they were taking pictures of our Took her diaper off in church and taking pictures. They had crime scene investigation out I mean we were traumatized from church to church. The enemy did everything to keep us out of the church so we We stayed home for seven years after that. We're like, well, we're gonna do church at home since Seems like every church we went to they mean it was just waiting. They're trying to tear us apart slowly, but surely the Lord led me to pass the Dean pass the Dean's ministries and That's that completely changed my life. I rededicated my life at Skyfall 2019 and that was dramatic Yes, he put his hand on my head and I did fall I Fell so hard. My wife heard it in the back and that's part of letting go Because every time I went up front I've gone to the altar Probably over a hundred two hundred times in my life because I wanted the witness of the Holy Spirit and I never got it But it was always something I was always bracing myself like this pastor is not going to push me down Like uh-uh, I've watched I've watched People fall down all the time. I'm not falling but I we'd gone through so much at that time
We even missed my sister-in-law's wedding to come to that deliverance conference and She she might have been upset then but I know she's not upset now Because she's here with her husband Well past the Dean pointed out Well, I started going to Ministry school I sign off from ministry school Another vision the Lord basically told me that I needed to pay some attention to pastor Dean That he was going to disciple me and teach me So learning from pastor Dean I began to find out the error of all these translations and IV New King James Then I found this particular one where shoot Was changed to shower in John 3 16 and that hit me so hard. I'm like, this is it This is the reason I was on that train Going to hell Because this this translations what they do the little errors like leavening, right? little errors What they do is to cheap away at the fear of the Lord to excuse seen in your life and The moment you allow that to happen you're on you're on that train. And so when I was convinced that yes This NIV Bible was trying to get me into hell. I was like, I'm gonna send it to hell and that's what I that's exactly what I did curious arts Acts chapter 19 person 18 and Tony says many of them also which use curious arts But their books together and burned them before all men and they counted the price of them and founded 50,000 pieces of silver So mightily grew the Word of God and prevailed Pastor Dean has told us that these translations approved by by the Vatican By the Catholic Church. I remember when the Lord first spoke to my heart. It was first confession I went to a false confession cat kiss him in the Catholic Church. It's kind of brainwashing, right and I knelt down in front of a priest doing my first confession. I was probably eight years old
And as soon as I said those words Forgive me father for I have seen this is my first confession the fear of the Lord hit me hard I was just convinced that I've done something wrong. I Wasn't particularly sure what I did wrong, but I knew I just did something wrong And the Lord told me never do that again So I asked for forgiveness as a Lord. Please forgive me. I will never kneel in front of a priest and Ask for forgiveness or ask him to forgive my sins the Lord outside speaking to me at a very early age because I truly after reading the My dad used to read Read volume one with me trying to teach me how to read. That's how I learned how to read and I just consumed the rest of the ten volumes because I was so interested in it And that's how I learned how to read and the Lord lyrics that is speaking to my heart that young And so I had a relationship with the Lord but then you know The NIV came into the picture and slowly Yeah, that's what happened to that NIV Bible. That's the little fire pit in the back of our former house It was I ripped it out of the washing machine It's a good fire pit. It has those holes. It works great Especially for dispatching Bibles. I'll tell you that false translations Martin used to come to Bible study Martin and he had some troubles and The Sunday the Sunday before this happened I had spoken I was Talking to everybody I was like, you know the next NIV Bible I get my hands on I'm going to burn it And so Martin volunteered his I said bring it next week. We will burn that Bible So standing around this fire pit about to burn the Bible You know something occurred to me Wally. You're you're about to burn a Bible What are you thinking? I'm like, no, this this are not the words of God This is three years ago These are not the words of where I'm convinced of it because I know this Bible almost got me on that train going to hell So I'm going to burn it. I put it in a fire and We stood around there Leroy Leroy was Leroy. Where are you? Is Leroy here? Leroy was it was still in Tucson then
before he moved Leroy, Jordan, Luis, Martin, we're all standing around the fire. Then my daughter Grace She snuck out. She always wants to see what that is doing, right? She snuck out of the house and was sitting sitting beside Like a yard two yards away from the fire pit and so we burnt it we're going into the house and Leroy walked up to me and said When you were when we're over there by the fire, I was looking at grace. I was watching her and she was looking up Intently into the sky at something like it looks like she was seeing something. I was like, yeah, you know She's a kid. She's just looking up whatever We go back into the house and then a couple hours later. My wife walks up to me and tells me well Grace told me something She said she saw God standing right By the fire with us as we're you know burning this NIV Bible She said his head was above the clouds He stood that high and his face was as if the Sun was over it Mean she was three years old at a time. Am I correct? for four years old This is a description of God as he appears in the Bible several times, right and she said I Was like, oh she just saw an angel, but she said she saw God So I was wondering well is God mad at me that I burned an NIV Bible, you know the enemy stay talking again You burnt an NIV Bible man. You're in trouble. God was over there just watching you because he's going to get you So, you know the fear of the Lord. I'm like Lord. I know I Was convicted to burn this Bible because I believe it's not your word So help me out here. I stay fast and I'm praying like Lord. I need a word from you Couple I think a year about a year later. The Lord led me to Brandon Peterson's work I was like ha ha got you now devil Brandon Peterson is the The guy that wrote sealed by the king the book one of the resources Sal and Jordan used for their presentation and there's a particular video that talks about 666 Mark chapter 16 verse 8
9 and 20 There will be a footnote in all these fake translations casting doubt the same thing that the devil did in the Garden of Eden firstly cast it out on the Word of God that is manuscript the LDS manuscripts do not include verses 9 to 20 and lo and behold all the verses They exclude that add up to 666 verses So I'm like this Bible actually bears the mark of the beast That's the only number the Lord tells us to count, right? So these fake Bibles, I know people love their Bibles and they you know have Sentimental value, but if you think about it, is it truly the Word of God when it's casting doubt on the authenticity of the Word if you take out a jaw and The Tito you can't mess with it. You can't mess with the Word of God you can alter it in any way you can't Change it in any way, but that's what Satan does and what he's attacking is the fear of the Lord he will start trying to cause you to doubt the fact that God is just and That he's true to his word and that when he says he's going to do something. He will do it The fear of the Lord as our foundation So this is what the Lord said telling me. There's a foundation For your faith. There's a foundation for your love There's a foundation for my love for you. There's a foundation for my relationship with you and that Foundation is the fear of the Lord if that foundation is broken My relationship with you is broken Says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction Proverbs 1 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is understanding and if you look up that word beginning Says principal thing the beginning chiefest first When you're building a house, what do you first do build a foundation, right? That's the first thing you do. Well, Jesus himself compared our salvation as a house Matthew 7 22 to 27 many will say to me in that day Lord Lord Have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have we not cast out devils have cast out devils and in thy name Don many wonderful works and then I'll profess unto them and never knew you depart from me ye that work in equity Therefore we so ever hear it these saints of mine and do it them
I will liken him unto or what a wise man Which built his house upon a rock and the rain descended and the floods came and The winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell not for it was founded upon rock that rock is the fear of the Lord and Everyone that here at these saints of mine and do it them not Shall be liking unto a foolish man Which built his house upon the sand and the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat down Beat upon that house and it fell and great Was the fall of it the enemy wants you to build on sand and so he wants to come and Adulterates your foundation the fear of the Lord. He wants you to doubt the consequences that God has put in place like hell Like his wrath like his anger You know God told me something he says how can you understand my love if you don't understand what I saved you from If you don't understand what I'm saving you from how can you appreciate the fact that I came here and died for you? So the consequences has to be front and center has to be before your face Constantly because if not, you're going to take light to what God has done for you Because God says I am saving you from me. I am saving you from my anger I'm saving you from my wrath So I came died on a cross to keep me from having to destroy you That is scary That gives me pause Like he loves me that much Because he's he's holy. He's a holy God and he's just Abiding in the fear of the Lord. How do we stay in the fear of the Lord? How do we keep from stepping outside of it so that we are safe? through wisdom is a house Builded and by understanding it is established proverbs 24 verse 3 This is the same house. We're talking about says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom So if you don't have the foundation guess what you've never started to build that house Because it's through wisdom God's wisdom that the house is built and by understanding it is established The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and a knowledge of the Holy is understanding That's proverbs 9 10 Exodus 20 20 and Moses said unto the people fear not
For God has come to prove you and that his fear may be before your faces that you've seen not Moses is kind of saying fear not but fear Why is he saying that he's saying do not be afraid? But have reverence have all Have a fearful respect of God That's the one that draws you closer to him we caution But don't be afraid and run away. Don't be afraid and don't Because that will keep you away from God. That's not the fear of the Lord The fear of the Lord actually draws you towards God Because you come to understand who he is and what he wants what he requires These are the two words in that scripture Fear not yare which is a verb To be afraid is this psychological reaction of fear it's just random fear, you know when you're terrified scared of something and Yira the noun which is reverence or Reverential fear, you know the funny thing we said the enemy is dumbing down the fear of the Lord I've heard people say oh you don't need to fear God you have on reverence for him until I realized they didn't understand what all and reverence meant and so that was a That was like a cop-out. Oh, it's just all But then I looked up the definition of all Merriam-Webster dictionary defines us an emotion variously combining dread Veneration and wonder that is inspired by authority or by the sacred or sublime That is way past fear That is way past regular fear That is another kind of fear steps it up and the American heritage dictionary of the English language defines reference as a profound respect and esteem mingled with fear and affection as for a holy being or place the deposition to revere and Veneration See if God gave us a perfect language and a perfect book and he can't attack the book Do you think he will attack the language? They say he has been changing the English language, right? He's been changing the English language and you need to get old dictionaries, right?
Why? Because now we call our sandwich is awesome. There is nothing awesome about your sandwich God is awesome Those words were set apart for God in the English language If you go into the old definition of those words, they were reserved for God But this is where the dumbing down comes in Let's dumb down the fear of the Lord and let's let's change the words that were reserved for the holy Let's change them. Let's dumb them down so that we can now use them for everything else Let's not I give you know, I give my keys a hard time. I Wasn't trying to be difficult. I just I came from Nigeria British colony and my dad was a stickler for Using the right words for the writing So if you if you said something like your sandwich was awesome, you are going to sit down for a lecture with my dad He's going to lecture you what that word means and why you shouldn't use it to qualify something as mundane as your sandwich So that's how I learned in the English language And so I was very careful so understood in the Bible when Jesus didn't allow himself to be called good Talk less of great and we use great for anything right now, you know words like terrific fantastic even awful Awful suppose it's originally meant full of all but what does awful mean now? Think about it. These words were designed for God and the enemy attacked them So that our relationship will not have the same quality Because he wants to destroy it. He wants to destroy our relationship with God So that we don't know how to How to worship him? Because now we use common words the same words are supposed to have huge meanings We use those same words for mundane things.
