for thus saith the lord god i am passing by once more says the lord i am going to pass by the american church one more time says the lord many will not recognize me they will not reach out for me they will not desire me to come into the boat with them but i am passing by again and i will move for my people who are hungry and thirsty for me says the lord i will draw near to you if you will draw near to me i will manifest my presence i will make known my ways i will reveal things to you i will show you my power and my presence i am longing to be with my people my people have held back for years other things have distracted you other things have lured you and tempted you and pulled you away but this is the hour of visitation saith the lord i will visit both in mercy and in judgment i will visit in mercy and in wrath you will have to choose the side of that you are on but i desire mercy i desire you to be on my side to be with me i am the lord jesus christ i am the king of kings i am the one who died for you and rose again i will be there for you in trials in tribulation i am your strength and your shield i will guide you and keep you i will strengthen you even in trouble but you must draw near to me and do not be like those who missed me when i came the first time they missed the hour of their visitation they did not discern the time or the need to repent and draw near to me they thought they were okay in their religion i am moving again and i will bring revival to my people i will bring my presence my fire my power my truth and i will judge the world in righteousness the wicked will perish and all of the pride of man will be brought down says the lord so
praise you father we thank you this morning god that you are both the god of mercy longing that everyone would come to repentance you take no pleasure in the death of the wicked or the destruction of those who reject you lord you don't desire that for them god you want us all to come to repentance to turn from sin to truly make jesus lord of our lives to take up the cross and follow you the very best we can lord we pray that many eyes will be opened in this hour that you will truly open many people's eyes around us the hour is late the time is short we know that great trouble lies ahead and that your second coming is drawing near help us to draw near to you lord and you promised in james chapter 4 that if we would draw near to you you would draw near to us we believe that today and we accept that today in jesus name amen while we were doing the last song i just felt the lord say that and it's just real quick and simple if you're not actively pursuing the things of god then you're gradually becoming like the world and you're not gonna make it it's a warning if you're not actively pursuing him now you're not gonna make it if you don't you're not gonna make it mentally physically spiritually or emotionally in what's coming so well that's the word i felt you know i'm not preaching on this this morning but i believe it's luke 19 where jesus was passing by jerusalem and he wept over jerusalem and he stopped and he revealed why he was weeping because he said that they would be destroyed and he knew destruction and judgment was coming to jerusalem and he he was weeping over it and he said why he said because they did not know the time of their visitation he said i would have gathered them together to me but they would not and now their house is left of them desolate god has loved america god raised up america for a purpose and god used america for that purpose
but for the most part now america has turned its back on god and yes most of the christian church has even turned its back on god's word and god's truth and now what lies at the door i believe is jesus weeping over america and what's about to happen but it's amazing in luke he talks about it being both the day of his blessing and a day of his vengeance at the same time that's why the last days is such a tough thing to grasp a hold of that god promised in in acts chapter 2 he said i will pour out in the last days he said i will pour out my spirit on all flesh he said your sons and your daughters will prophesy i'll pour out my spirit on your handmaidens and on your your sons and your daughters and all my servants and they'll see visions and they'll dream dreams and they'll prophesy but he said that right after he said that he said but there will be blood fire pillars of smoke this is what is about to happen you guys matter of fact i will be surprised if we get out of the summer before we see the pillars of smoke i want everybody to turn this morning to first thessalonians chapter 5 first but yesterday when i was praying and and studying and asking god what he wanted me to preach on this morning he just kind of said first thessalonians there's a lot of things in this book that are very important but i want to start in the back of the book here i was going to start at the front but the way the holy spirit is moving this morning speaking i think that chapter 5 is a good place to start there are several truths that god wants to get across to us in the book of first thessalonians and this what's interesting about the book of first thessalonians a lot of people don't know this is that this is the first letter that paul ever wrote to a church this is the first this is the beginning of the apostle paul's writing of scripture now he might have written other letters that we don't know about but when the holy spirit came upon him to inspire him to write what would be most of the new testament this was the first book and this was penned by the apostle paul under the inspiration of the holy spirit in about a.d 50 51 somewhere in that time period so there were just a few books of the bible written by then the gospel of mark was the first it looks like and then matthew but then when it comes to the apostle paul though this was the first one he wrote and it's interesting if you look at that because he knew by the holy spirit that this book would be considered the word of god it would be considered new testament scripture and
thus that all churches would end up reading it so the truths that he put in this first book are just quite amazing and i think sometimes we don't really slow down and look at them but can i just say this in it amazing that in the first book that the apostle paul would write he talks a great deal about the second coming of jesus christ and the things that would lead up to that and this is what i don't understand and again i've said this many times but i can't understand preachers and christians preachers who don't want to preach about the second coming of jesus and the bible prophecy and the end times and what's hap what's happening especially now that we're right in the midst of it happening and this is the time that most preachers in america are being silent on these issues and yet paul in his first book to the new testament church in his first letter to a new testament church he talks about it the coming of jesus the resurrection the what's called the rapture he talks about the judgment that's coming and and he points out a verse here when he says when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction will come on them and so he gives us a picture of what's going to happen in the last days so let's look at chapter 5 first and we're going to work our way back chapter 5 verse 1. a lot of people use these verses out of context basically to say that you're not supposed to talk about the end times and you're not going to know when jesus is coming because he's coming like a thief in the night but they don't keep reading i love how people like to quote things out of context to try to prove their point their false point i should say do it all the time but first thessalonians 5 says this verse 1 but of the times and of the seasons brethren you have no need that i write unto you and he just got through talking to them about the coming of the lord in the rapture in chapter four he said but of the times and the seasons brethren you have no need that i write unto you for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the lord so cometh as a thief in the night for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape now he's talking about the world here and then he adds this but you brethren who's he talking to christians but you brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief hear what i'm saying he's saying that to the world to the unsaved to those who walk in darkness who walk contrary to the word of god who reject jesus who don't want to follow jesus he says they are walking in darkness and in sin and in rebellion he says that day is going to come on them like a thief they're not going to know
when it's happening they're not even going to be taken by surprise shock you know they calling the phrase about warfare years ago shock and awe they ain't seen anything yet when when god's judgment begins to fall there will truly be some shock and awe in the world but god said through the apostle paul to the to the first letter he wrote to the church but you brethren you christians you christians who love jesus who study the bible who read the bible who know the bible who know all the signs that jesus talked about you won't be taken by surprise you shouldn't be anyway hear what i'm saying but you brethren are not in darkness that that day what day the day of the lord's wrath the day of the destruction the day when they say peace and safety and sudden destruction comes on them that day shouldn't take you by surprise and you should know when it's coming and i just want to say this morning boldly i'm telling you this morning by the prophetic revelation of the lord and by numerous prophets that i'm hearing from across the country the sudden destruction is coming on june 5th in just a few days they are about to have a peace summit with russia and the united states and the u.n about this syrian mess and we're also going to be meeting about the israeli-palestinian issue and the palestinians in the arab league have agreed to a certain thing that's never been agreed on before and right now they're talking peace and safety the word safety in this verse means security they're talking about we're going to have peace we're going to have these peace meetings these peace treaties and yes they're going to have some of them but god said in this verse when they say peace and safety matter of fact it seems to be all that's in the news israel ready for historic compromise arab league accepts uh um kelly um secretary of state kerry's presentation on on how to divide the land of israel and all these things they're talking about having peace talks with russia about syria while russia keeps shipping weapons to syria that's about to spark world war three i'm telling you this morning there's more talk about peace when war is about to erupt worldwide and nuclear war this verse you're about to see in your lifetime and i believe in this next year you're going to see the fulfillment of this verse in first thessalonians chapter 5 let's read it again verse 2 for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the lord so cometh as a thief in the night for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction
cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape here's what the word sudden means in the greek it means unexpected and quick destruction destruction here means ruin death [Music] and he's talking about the whole world system look when you talk about who's meeting on june the 5th you're talking about russia you're talking about the united states of america you're talking about israel in the arab league you're talking about the united nations that represents everybody else when they and he's talking about the whole world shall get together and say we're going to have peace and security sudden destruction and what sudden destruction is he talking about revelation chapter 9 and we're not going to turn there at this moment but revelation 9 says there's going to be a war start in the middle east the euphrates river area a war in the last days [Music] that will kill one-third of mankind by fire this is the sudden destruction that's coming this is the destruction that later the apostle peter wrote about when he said the elements will dissolve with the fervent heat when he said the works and the earth and the works that are therein will be burn up listen folks there's no way to kill one third of mankind without a nuclear war without a nuclear exchange this is coming i believe before this war begins i believe american cities are going to be hit and america will collapse as a nation [Music] do you hear what i'm saying gog made a statement in the book of zechariah not to meddle with israel not to meddle with jerusalem he said he would make it a cup of trembling and anyone who bothered themselves with it he would [Music] bother this is some serious stuff just to share briefly with you if you think i'm the only crazy nut who talks like this when we were traveling these past two weeks of course a couple of weeks ago we went to georgia and spent a couple of nights with my brother alan and he is going to a church there in mcdonald georgia that's a uh that's a new church plant off of griffin first
assembly which is down in down in griffin georgia large church i don't know it was about ten thousand member church down there um pastor randy valemont now i've been there to the church they they have perry stone has a big conference there every year and my brother used to attend there i used to go to church there with him when i vis visit him it's interesting pastor valemon's got a powerful testimony he was he's actually of i think iranian descent um his uh he's just a miracle he's even alive um but powerful testimony but he is one of the top uh leaders of the entire assemblies of god denomination okay uh just for those of you who don't know the assemblies of god is still the largest pentecostal denomination in the world and i've ministered in many assembly of god churches i have assembly of god pastor friends we don't see everything eye to eye of course they're all pre-trib folks most of them and you know they got issues with casting demons out of christians but you know some of them need them out of them so um you know they got that denominational pride demon working um but there's some good people and i and i love them i love the denomination like i said i've worked in those churches preached in those churches but pastor valemon is not a man given to hype he's not a man given to um you know hyping things up or or making things up but he recently in the last few weeks said that six months ago god showed him that there was going to be a massive and cataclysmic event in america that would change everything and he said destruction millions would die and he said that he waited six months before he shared it publicly because he really wanted to pray over it and make sure he was hearing god and so in recently he shared it and their church is preparing uh for really honestly the fallout from atlanta and other places the bible says this there's a scripture it's one of my favorite scriptures amos 3 7. you want to turn there you can turn there amos 3 7 but it says this says surely the lord will do nothing but that he first reveals it to his servants the prophet before god does things he reveals it so his people will be warned amos 3 7. y'all can check me on that
surely the lord will do nothing but he revealeth his secrets to his servants the prophets god is revealing things by dreams and visions he's revealing that this sudden destruction is soon going to come upon us i think almost everybody in this church and many people that i know have had dreams and visions of nuclear blast in america and see let me explain something to you say well why will that be god doing it here's what's amazing about god he doesn't have to do it all he has to do is this right here all he has to do let's say somebody's over here wants to hurt you and i'm shielding you i'm protecting you from them all he has to do is back away and then i didn't come in and that's all he's going to do his hand of protection his hand of blessing has been on the united states but now the churches are accepted homosexuality homosexual marriage the churches are letting homosexuals lead worship and be ministers they let a pope who covered up they let a man be pope who covered up child abuse within the priesthood of the roman catholic church i mean i could go down the list you guys america is addicted to entertainment pornography will not get out of sexual sin even the christians i'm talking about the christians won't get out of adultery won't get out of fornication won't get out of alcohol and drinking and drunkenness i told nancy yesterday we went to a thing in montgomery and with all these people acting weird and i'm just like you know what i think that i think everybody's zombies and she laughed you know because all this everybody's but here's what i mean everybody's on the happy pills man and here's the thing nobody knows everything those happy pills do because they've got the gazillion happy feels you see all those side effects they put on the screen when they when they advertise the happy pills that's just the ones they know about because they hadn't thoroughly tested this mess they're just trying to get it on the market so they can make money off of it i'm wondering what in the world all these different pills are doing to people because people are acting stupid they're acting like zombies they're acting weird in public and i'm like what in the world is wrong with you listen you know that the the greek word for sorcery is pharmakeia
yes sorcery it's time to get off the drugs just because it's prescribed doesn't mean you're supposed to have it right amen good lord cancer is rampant you know all these drugs all these vaccines all this crazy stuff going on why do we think cancer has exploded since the 1950s what else exploded big pharmaceutical companies now they're trying to try to make these vaccines and things mandatory so you have to get them so you have to pay for them so they can make you make them rich [Music] yep i could that you know that's not even part of the message this morning it's just disgusting what's going on and i think it is to numb everybody down it's really just another way that satan has to to numb everybody down to what's going on while the country disintegrates while all of our leaders lie while all of our leaders sell us out to the u.n sign treaties with the u.n and they're getting ready to to overthrow the constitution of the united states and and create a police state and and everybody's on happy pills and and watching you know uh american idol and here we are about to enter world war three nuclear holocaust the answer the rise of the antichrist the rise of the world government people being put in prison people being beheaded and killed for their testimony we're about to enter the jesus said that the time we're entering in the last seven years of mankind he said would be the greatest time of trouble on the earth since there ever has been a nation now folks i don't know about you if you've studied history at all but there's been some bad junk go down in history remember the dark ages how about the inquisitions the roman catholic church killing millions of people how about the bolshevik revolution in russia and russia killing the you know a couple of hundred million people and the chinese revolution there's been some bad stuff go down in this world the massive amount of child molestation going on in the world and jesus said that what is coming the final seven years the tribulation will be the greatest time of trouble that the world has ever seen in world war ii we lost 52 plus million people in world war ii and yet the bible says that there's another world coming that will kill one-third of mankind if that's the literal one-third that's 2.33
billion people we have not seen trouble that's coming y'all famine pestilence disease war persecution [Music] america do y'all realize what i'm saying to you america will cease to be a world power we are falling like rome like babylon we are crumbling it's over the last several presidents have violated the first amendment the second amendment the the fourth amendment it's just being violated the tenth amendment they don't care they spy on you without warrants they're trying to take away guns second amendment they're trying to silence preachers from speaking against homosexuality or the government or obama [Music] it's almost gone y'all the day's coming you will not be able to speak against the world government or you will be put in prison in some fema camp somewhere and you know i remember when i started talking about this in 2008 people thought i was crazy [Music] and now it's upon us [Music] when they shall say peace and safety sudden destruction is coming you know y'all are going to freak out when this happens people listening people listen to me on facebook thousands of people actually and i think a lot of them still think even friends of mine that i went to school with i'm sure a lot of them think he's just he's not dana we're crazy old college buddies old high school buddies they went crazy but they but they they you know they're still still on facebook they're still listening they're about to wake up they're about to get a wake-up call let's keep going y'all ready let's read it again i want you to get this down in you know you know and i was going to say this i'm telling you all this and i feel strongly the lord wanted me to get on this this morning this verse when they shall put save peace and safety and then sudden destruction because it is upon us see a lot of people don't know the prophetic revelation and gift that god has given me sometimes some of y'all don't know that but i remember two days before 9 11
september 9 2001 was a sunday morning i was preaching on sunday morning and you know what i was preaching i still remember it this day just like it was yesterday church was full and i was preaching on the blessings of i god it sounds odd for me doesn't it it was kind of an odd message that day but i was really talking about how god blesses us and the blessings of god that come upon us even when we don't deserve it even when we're compromising even when we're rebelling even when we're sinning and how how many of the blessings of god we don't even see because maybe he just kept us from a car accident we never saw maybe we're about to you know touch something that had a deadly flesh-eating bacteria on it and he kept us from touching it we don't even know maybe we're about to eat something that was poisoned or and he kept us from eating it or maybe he delayed us a little bit you know we're about to run out the door jump in the car to run somewhere and we knocked the you know we knocked the picture off the the k and it breaks and spills everywhere we got to clean it up and that little delay kept us from a major car accident a lot of blessings from god we don't ever see right so in the middle i'm preaching on that not thinking about war not thinking about end times not thinking about terrorist attack not thinking about destruction in america and all of a sudden the holy spirit comes all over me and has me say these words to a full church on sunday morning september 9 2001. there will be a terrorist attack on washington dc in new york city and in fact it should have already happened that god has been merciful to us and blessed us two days later on tuesday morning it happened i'm telling y'all i dare say i don't have thus saith the lord but there's something on me today yesterday i don't know that we make it through the summer before these things begin don't know for sure but it feels that imminent to me that close to me and if it's not like i told my brother yesterday i said i'll be shocked if we see the fall before i'll be shocked if we end 2013 for sure i'm not saying you thus saith the lord when i'm just telling you i feel this is near why when they shall say peace and safety and and i don't know if i can get this
across to you maybe i can this morning because i'm totally deviating from the whole message this morning that i'd planned but let me get this across to you as plainly as i can they've been trying for 30 plus years every president of the united states the u.n the european union britain everybody's been trying to get a peace treaty between israel and the palestinian people and the arab people that will divide the land of israel okay to give the palestinians a state when really back in 1947 they were given a state it was called jordan that was separated out to be the palestinian state a lot of people don't know that they said no [Music] see this one a lot of people don't realize israel said yeah we'll accept that back in 1947 the arabs said no [Music] now when israel got their state they thought well if israel declares independence in 1948 we'll just have all the arab nations attack them and destroy them we'll be done with this little problem so no thank you united nations no thank you for the partition we don't need a homeland we're going to take this back from the jews so they went to war after israel declared its independence the british left and israel declared its independence and all the arab nations around israel attacked them in the little state of israel that had barely anything had to use little private cessna planes to fight a war ended up defeating the arabs and taking more land than the united nations had given them so the arabs suffered in feet and it was god's hand that protected them and helped them because god said he was going to bring the children of israel back to the land that would be assigned in the last days in ezekiel 36 isaiah 11 amos 9 matter of fact amos 9 says that he would bring them back to the land and they would never be removed again isaiah even was more specific said they'll be brought back to the land a second time well guess what it happened the first time when in the babylonian thing when nebuchadnezzar took them for 70 years and they went back the second time was 1948 one of the greatest prophetic fulfillments that's ever happened to let us know we entered the last days [Music] folks listen to me we entered the last days as we will see we've entered the last days in 1948 and if there was any doubt the arabs were so ticked off and this is what arabs do this is what muslims do i hate to tell you but when they get beat down is the only time you get peace with them but their peace is always temporary because they're always going back until they can get strong enough to attack you again so it took a few years but in 1967 the arabs got together again egypt and syria and lebanon jordan even they all got together and guess what planned a sneak attack against israel but israel's intelligence was too good
so israel attacked them before they could get attacked and destroyed the entire egyptian and syrian air forces on the ground and of course israel shouldn't have won that war either but in june 1967 the six day war israel won and ended up taking back the west bank and one of the second greatest end time prophetic fulfillments took back jerusalem as their capital now see here's the thing all this fuss is over jerusalem and israel having jerusalem right well if you didn't want a fight why are you starting something it's like somebody coming up and starting to fight with me and i beat the snot out of them and they start crying because i beat them up well don't you don't want none don't start none right and now the arabs got themselves beat down in 1948 1967 1973 they did it again beat them you know why israel keeps beating them down because god said in 8-9 i'm putting them back in the land they're never being moved out again you're fighting against god friend i don't care if if the i don't care if the israelis and the jews don't the majority of them don't believe in jesus and maybe don't believe in their god anymore but god said it that settles it [Music] right this is what the world doesn't get and god said about this he said when he brought them back to the land he was going to make israel an inside to the nations that's a fancy word but you know what that means a sign a signal what is it a sign or a signal of the end the end the second coming of the messiah the destruction of the nations world war three and finally armageddon this is what's coming and he told us that that before that as we enter into that time period he said what will start this seven year final period is a peace treaty between israel and their arab nations that divide the land of israel well guess what for the first time in all these years the arabs have agreed and israel is agreed do you hear what i'm saying daniel 9 says when they sign this peace treaty there is approximately give or take a few months seven years now and jesus returns here's the possibility i'm not telling you they will do it this summer they say the u.n the european union our secretary of state john kerry
israel the arab league the palestinians mahmoud abbas the president of the policy they all say we will do this this is the first time this ever happened [Music] if they sign those papers this summer we enter the tribulation period this summer and we're not getting raptured out before you'll hear me i know there's a lot of good preachers out there a lot of people love god believe that but it's a lie we're here until the end i hope i i hope and pray i would love it if we work don't see it right this is what is happening now why is god letting all this happen this is what i believe god is going to let all these prophecies of the end time come to pass because he's trying to show this rebellious wicked generation more shot at mercy and come into jesus before it's too late one more one more time folks sudden destruction let's let's i gotta read it again i'm sorry i'm just preaching this morning y'all don't mind dude i was gonna preach the whole book of first thessalonians but we don't have time for that let's read chapter 5 again and finish it on down verse 2 for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the lord so cometh as a thief in the night for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape you know i was thinking about this it talks about his travail upon a woman with a child here's what's interesting about that i hear what i'm saying now does the woman know she's pregnant she knows the baby's coming she doesn't know the exact day or hour right but she knows when it's coming women everybody in here have babies everybody y'all know right you know what a baby's coming right you may not know in the first few weeks you may you know it may take a little while before you figure out that you're pregnant but there's a point you know it's coming here's what's interesting when he says that this will come upon them as travail upon a woman with child it's not that they're ignorant
see here's the thing deep down in everybody's heart god said this in romans 2 in everybody he's written his law in their heart that means his word is written in everybody's heart so they'll know right and wrong and they'll know the truth deep down in their hearts everybody knows the world's going to end as we know it everybody knows there's going to be a day of judgment a day of reckoning everybody knows there's this foreboding everybody knows that this is coming but they try to i love what peter said they are willingly ignorant you know what ignorant means ignorant doesn't mean you're stupid or mentally well it means you choose to ignore right willingly ignorant means you are ignorant on purpose right there are people doing this y'all christians and people doing this about this [Music] american idol american idol [Music] tv basketball football baseball la la la la i don't wanna hear it oh i don't wanna hear it tell me something make me feel good preacher i'm sorry i keep stopping when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction cometh upon them is travail upon a woman child and they shall not escape boy in that wait a minute now i thought we're getting raptured out of here no because they shall not escape i just thought i'd throw that in but you brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief you're all children of the light and children of the day we are not of the night nor of the darkness therefore let us not sleep as do others what is this sleep talking about i'm not talking about regular sleep don't sleep spiritually don't be asleep spiritually don't have your eyes closed in your consciousness in another place you need to be paying attention you need to be in the word of god you need to be drawn near to jesus you need to be getting sin and compromising worldliness out of your life you need to be getting filled with the holy ghost and fire and getting stronger and getting ready you need to be ready for the tribulation for the trouble for the trials you need to be ready for the coming of jesus you need to be ready to be a light and a witness be a child of the light be a witness to those in darkness listen here's the good part of this the darker the world gets and the darker that people get the more the light's gonna shine from people who have it amen boy he says you are not if you're a child of god if you're born
again if jesus is lord and you've been saved he says you're not of the darkness you're not of the night he says therefore let us me and you christians not sleep as do others let us watch and be high on dope and alcohol no he said let us watch and be sober he says for they that sleep sleep in the night and they that be drunk be drunk and aren't drunken in the night but let us who are of the day be sober putting on the breastplate of faith and love and for the helmet the hope of salvation do you hear that the first letter paul wrote this is what he talked about let's read on he uses this verse this is one they used to teach the pre-trib rapture for god has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our lord jesus christ what's funny about that go to chapter one the wrath he's talking about in hell that's the wrath he delivers us from how do i know that look what he talks about them being examples i was going to get on this look at verse 5 in chapter 1 he says for our gospel came not unto you in word only but also in power in the holy ghost and in much assurance as you know what manner of men we were among you for your sake and you became followers of us and of the lord having received the word in much affliction with joy of the holy ghost wait i thought christians weren't supposed to suffer persecution so he says you received the word in much affliction with joy of the holy ghost so much so that you were examples to all that believe in macedonian occasion listen the greatest testimony a christian can have in a church can have is that you were a good example to everyone around you i think about this he says they you were a wonderful example even in you and listen the thessalonians were one of the most persecuted churches by their own people and he says in the midst of that affliction and that persecution that tribulation you were great examples to everyone in that re that's what we're supposed to be in these last days y'all in the midst of affliction in the midst of persecution in the midst of trouble and tribulation we're supposed to be good examples to everyone to be the light of jesus that shines okay let's keep reading i hadn't forgot what we're talking about he says for from you verse 8 sounded out
the word of the lord not only in macedonian occasion also in every place your faith to god word is spread abroad so that we need not to speak uh anything for they themselves know of us what manner of entering in we had unto you how you turn to god from idols to serve the living and true god and to wait for his son from heaven whom he raised from the dead even jesus which has delivered us from the wrath to come and this is a talk of salvation y'all and he goes for yourselves brother and know our entrance into you that it was not in vain but look at look at this he says but even after that we had suffered before and were shamefully entreated as you know at philippi we were bold in our god to speak unto you the gospel of god with much contention you see that with much contention look over and he says this i love it when he says this right here in verse 11 he said that in verse 12 he said that you would walk worthy of god who has called you into his kingdom hold on i want to read something where is it go to chapter three and again again not talking about escaping troubles and tribulation he says verse 1 when we could no longer forebear we thought it good to be left at athens alone we sent timothy our brother and minister of god and our fellow laborers in the gospel of christ to establish you and comfort you concerning your faith that no man should be moved by these afflictions for you know that we were appointed there unto now look at verse 4 for verily when we were with you we told you that we should suffer tribulation even as it came to pass and you know so he wasn't talking about them not having tribulation trouble trial persecution and afflictions he said i told you that we enter the kingdom of god through those things so again the context you don't use oh we're delivered from the wrath to come talk about delivered from persecution trial tribulation afflictions in this world that is not biblical never has been it's a prosperity gospel teaching it's not a jesus teaching all right anyway not getting on the rapture today fully but that's just enough right the poor thessalonian church went through great persecution great affliction great tribulation but he taught them the truth folks what's written in your bible what's written in that bible
about the end times is in the news every day so the issue is i'm gonna close with this look at that i know man i'm stopping too soon but here's the final issue why say pastor why you preach like this why you talk like this why are these things in the bible why do we have to deal with these things why it's all and everything god does it's all about convicting us and dealing with us about our sin our rebellion our compromise our worldliness our lust our idols and getting us to give those things up and turn away from them and ask god for mercy and forgiveness and let jesus be the lord of our lives and submit to him and say lord whatever you say i will do and god says if you're willing to give up your life in this world i'll give you eternal life in the next world see this is what the church doesn't preach anymore why do you want to hold on to the junk in this life in this world when jesus said just let go of that for a little while and you can have all eternity with me in heaven and let me tell you i've had a vision of heaven i've had a couple of visions where god showed me heaven and let me just tell you i've seen some of the most beautiful mountains and streams and lakes and landscapes that the earth has to offer but heaven is beyond words it is beyond imagination and god said it in his word he said man he said i has not seen ear has not heard the things that god has prepared for those that love him he said if a man will lose his life in this world he will find it in the next i don't want to cling to some listen some people are going to go to hell forever over a little bit of money some people are going to go to hell forever because they can't quit sex and a long enough sexual sin to get right with god some people are going to go to hell because they simply just can't take the time to draw near to jesus they're too busy trying to keep up with the joneses why do we sell our eternal souls for a little pot the pottage like esau [Music]
people say it's they call they call christianity the great exchange you know what that means you give up your life your plans your sins here let jesus wash him away and you embrace the cross and you embrace what he promises you for the future can you do that will you do that this verse we didn't read it it was the next verse in chapter 3 verse 5 says this he speaks to them and he says this for this cause when i could no longer forbear i sent to know your faith unless some means the tempter have tempted you and our labor is in vain oh wait a minute now that sounds like paul says the tempter could come tempt them draw them away and these christians could be lost in all paul's labor there be in vain sounds like paul didn't believe what they had always said no matter how you live just say i led you to jesus i started the church but the tempter could come tempt you and all my labor could be in vain hey yep oh sorry all my labor be in vain now if they were eternally secure no matter how they lived then how could paul's labor be in vain [Music] scratch your head say amen or old me right but he says this right here he said look paul see paul was anxious to get back to the thessalonians because he knew they were babes in the lord and they needed a lot of teaching and a lot of training and a lot of exhortation and he was worried about him because he knew the tempter could come and destroy them and lead them astray and and his labor could be he worried about it and so let me tell you something i i worry about everybody in here i know you say you're not supposed to worry past i'm sorry paul talked about the care of the churches being on him what was he talking about he wasn't talking about making sure the floors were swept and the sound system worked right he was talking about the tempter tempting you and you falling away and you're not making it to heaven see this is why i preached like it i don't want the tempter to get you i don't want my labor to be in vain you know what makes me happy what makes me the most happy in this world is when y'all are doing good when you're okay when i know you're strong when i know you're drawn near to jesus when you start messing up it grieves my soul when i start seeing you fall away and the devil getting you and taking you into sin and taking you away from the truth i get worried about that i get concerned about that like i would my own children this is real that's what paul was saying
he's like i can't stand it even when he says i can't forebear that all that proper english you know old english he's saying i can't stand it anymore i gotta get back and help you i gotta get back and and teach you the word i gotta get back and make you strong and that's what i'm saying all of us are responsible for doing that with other people [Music] i'm just saying time has come y'all we're out of time no more games no more playing church no more lukewarm one foot in the world one foot with jesus no more listen here's what's amazing chapter four he starts out having to rebuke them and talk about fornication they said look i don't have to preach about love he said y'all understand that god's already got that he gets common sense he's supposed to love one another he said but get out of the fornication greek word pornia all this lust of the flesh get out of it don't let the tempter take you away in the darkness in his sin and take you to hell and make my labor in vain don't and especially now y'all listen [Music] there's no more time for messing up there's no more time for playing games sudden destruction quick and unexpected will soon be upon the entire world and hear me you've had the privilege and the mercy of god to be warned if you blow it oh geez when you if you blow it after all the teaching and preaching you've had you will stand before god and you will not be able to say a word on judgment day as he banishes you you will not open your mouth it talks about all mouths will be stopped before but this is what he's talking about he talked about people who knew they knew every bit of it it'd be silence [Music] gabriel how many church services were they how many bibles did they go to what did they hear depart from me don't hear those words don't hear those words we talk about it bible study thursday night that little scripture the little three
scriptures in matthew 7 not everyone that saith unto me lord lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven many will say to me in that day have we not cast out demons have we not prophesied in the name have we not done many wonderful works and then i will profess unto them i never knew you depart from me you who work iniquity sin injustice and i brought it out as plain as i could when jesus said i never knew you it didn't have anything to do with they never were saved an unsaved person can't cast out demons they have no power no authority no right a demon will not leave if an unprecedented person tries to cast a demon out these people called jesus lord they said lord lord jesus he said they say to me they call me lord they believe in me oh what do you mean it's not enough just to believe nope sorry the red part of the bible says he that doeth the will of my father in heaven not he who says i love jesus while they're sleeping with the boyfriend or the girlfriend he that doeth the will of my father and he says i will profess them depart from me i never knew you and god just gave me this as i was saying it because i went to ezekiel 18 and it's in ezekiel 3 and it's in ezekiel 33 and god says when a righteous person turns from his righteousness and begins to commit iniquity god says when he dies in his iniquity he says all his righteousness will not be remembered so literally somebody could turn away a born-again christian can turn away from god go back into sin if they die in their sin away from god [Music] all the righteousness they've ever done even coming to jesus will not even be remembered by jesus like for the for the the person who gets saved and turns from their sin and and walks with god and is faithful to the end it says jesus said their sins and their iniquities i will remember no more and i said these words i said god will forget something about you it'll either be your sins or your righteousness one of those things somebody ought to say that a preach right there what's god going to forget about you are you going to stand before him and your sins and iniquities he doesn't remember anymore because you walked in the light because he is in the light and the blood of jesus cleans you from sin where is he going to look at you because i don't even know who you are you're working and nothing good you've ever done no singing in church no coming to jesus no getting saved no getting bad all those righteous things will be forgotten and jesus will look at you and go i
don't know who are you what are you doing here [Music] people understand that day's coming [Music] you will hear well done good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the lord and you will hear angels buying him hand foot and casting the outer darkness the only two options let's pray father in heaven we love you and we thank you lord for truth god you said in your word that it is the truth of your word it sets us free lord not preaching and teaching that makes everybody feel good and feel okay while they're in dangerous places by this morning i pray in jesus name that everyone within the sound of my voice everyone here everyone listening by radio everyone that will hear this in a recording a podcast or from a website lord we pray in the name of jesus i pray this morning god that you will convict and awaken and and wake up lord people and draw them to repentance are turning away from their wickedness and their sin and to truly following jesus as the savior and messiah as he wants to be in their lives father i pray today holy holy god bring your holy spirit upon us and help us to resist the tempter to give up our sins and in our lives and our plans in this world to gain a relationship with you in eternal life in heaven make that real make it real
