About this sermon

“Pushed” uses the fiery furnace account in Daniel 3 as a pattern for end-time pressure to worship an antichrist system. Pastor Dean Odle traces Nebuchadnezzar’s image, compulsory worship, accusation against dissenters, and threat of death, then connects that pattern to Revelation’s beast, image, mark, and global worship. His central warning is that believers must settle beforehand that they will not bow, even when economic exclusion, government coercion, or death is used to force compliance.

Thank you, Jesus. [music] We need to worship the Lord in holiness. [music] In righteousness, because that's what he wants. [music] That's what he wants. You give your honey what she wants, right? [music] You give your honey what he wants. But this ain't that kind of honey. [music] This is the most holy, the most worthy, y'all. The most holy. Thank you, Jesus. He deserves all of our praise. The powerful, most holy one. [music] He's worthy of and there is power in the [singing and music] name of Jesus your Lord. There is power [singing] in the name of Jesus your God. There is power [singing] in the name of Jesus. [music] Oh you thinking that's not how high it goes. That's not [singing] how it goes. [music] But we need to think about what we're saying, y'all. We call ourselves [music] Christians. Amen. We call ourselves [music] Christians, y'all. And there's power in our God. And hard times are coming. They're coming. But that's [music] why we need to press into this song. [music] There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in the [singing] name of Jesus. [music] Oh, there is power in [music and singing] the name of Jesus our Lord. That breaks every chain. [music] Breaks every chain. Breaks all our chains. What's your chain in here? [music] What's our chain in here? What's your chain? [music] You got a chain. He'll break it. [music] [singing] Praise the Lord. [music] Praise the Lord. Oh, [singing] and there's [music] an army rising up. [music and singing] There's an army rising up. Okay, I'll sing it right. [music] Oh, there's an [singing] army rising up. There's an army rising [singing] up. There's an army [singing] rising [music] up.

[singing] To break every chain. To [music] break every chain. Break every [singing] chain. Break every chain. [music] Break every chain. Break every [singing] chain. [music] [music] Do you believe that this morning? Every chain. Every chain [music] of sin, every demonic chain, even Satan himself as he walks up to you. [music] And he's walked up to me before and turned around. I had to walk away. And I'm [music] not talking about a demon. I'm talking about Satan himself walked up to me one time. I was much younger. [music] So it was not about a pride thing. He was worried. You know why? Cuz we were teaching people how to pray, how to do spiritual warfare against him. And then we were going out on the street and preaching to the lost. [music] Those three things together made him real worried. So he had to come threaten me. Uh that was 30 years ago. [music] Didn't work. Right. We have power in the name of Jesus. Thank [music] you, Jesus. And the days ahead, there going to be things roaming the earth that are [music] going to bring terror to men's hearts. That's right. You just remember we have power and authority over all It's about the power of [music] the enemy. It's about him, y'all. I'm serious. You got to remember that. That's why I'm still here after what, 38, 39 years. [music] Because Satanists have tried to kill me, been shot at, [music] walked out into the darkness by Muslims, [music] and God has delivered me because he is the Almighty. [music] Amen. Jesus name is the name above every name. Amen. Amen. [music] Amen. Amen. You may be seated this morning. Thank you, Johnny and Julie. Hallelujah. It's good to worship the Lord. Amen. Um, babe, do we have a picture of Did you send them a picture of I'm sorry. Do you send them a picture of the building? Sure can. Yeah, we're um so we're moving forward. God has actually made a way,

  3. 0:06:01

hown us the way to go, and it's going to be good. Um, we have put the uh deposit down on a building and it's going to be metal. We're going to have to get the foundation poured, but it's all kind of the plans are coming. But it's a great deal. We're going to be able to do this, I believe, all of this without going to a bank and borrowing a dime. Amen. So, God is good. And probably I can't I can't guess exactly when, but uh how long it'll take us, but in a few months we will be in a different place. Amen. We'll be on our 15 and a half acres and uh it's going to be awesome. Amen. All right. Um do you have your Bibles this morning? I hope you do. If you don't, we're going to try to put it up here. But I've entitled this message this morning, Pushed. Don't push me cuz I'm close to the edge. [laughter] Well, yeah. They Some of them are too young for that one. Grandmaster Flash. Yeah. The Furious Five. Yeah. From early 80s. Uh but this is something that's been on my heart really for many years. In fact, um something the Lord gave me probably 20 years ago, but it's really for now. But I was in the midst of a trial. Somebody say trial. We don't like those, do we? Um yeah, trials are something else. I uh when you get into a trial and uh and whether you know there's two ways to get into a trial, let me just put this out before we get into this. Two ways to get into and what is a trial is when you're being tested. When your faith in the Lord, your walk, uh your mouth, uh everything about you is being tested. Now, there's two ways. The Lord can just step back and you can be doing great. You could be living for the Lord on fire for Jesus, not living in sin, and the devil says, "Hey, God, let me have them for a little bit. See what they do." Right? Like Job, like Peter, right? You did nothing wrong, but the Lord stepped back and all of a sudden you're going through hell and you wonder what in the world did I do? And Job spent a lot of time on the ground before God like trying to figure out how did this happen to me? His friend says, "Surely you've sinned, right? Surely

  4. 0:09:06

you've sinned some way because we know God doesn't allow this kind of stuff to happen to the righteous. And all of them were wrong, right? They all got rebuked by the Lord because sometimes the Lord does let the righteous go through horrible, difficult times of testing and trials. And this is what is so wrong with much of the preaching out there in the world in the church especially in the west and in America is because they want to tell you everything you know come to Jesus and your life will be hunky dory and everything will be just fine. There won't be any difficulties. But no, you're going to have difficulties. You're going to walk through fires and testing. Hang on. I got to get my water up here. Thank y'all for the water. I got about five. But let's go to Daniel. Put up Daniel uh chapter 3, y'all. Uh we're just going to start reading for verse one. Y'all all right with that? If I can get there myself. Daniel 3:1, Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold whose height was three score cubits. Now, if we go by the foot and a half cubit measurement, then we're talking about 90 feet tall. Now, that's that's as tall as some of the big tall pine trees. So, think about that. 90 feet. I think uh telephone poles are what 50 60 maybe 40 something like that. We're talking about up there. So, 90t tall. And then it says uh the breadth or the width thereof was six cubits. So that would be uh 9 ft wide. So this thing was you know had a base on it. Now we don't know exactly what this image was. Y'all can put up the picture I sent you of Nebuchadnezzar's statue. But think about this. It was 90 feet and and 9 ft wide. made of gold. First of all, how did he make something so huge? And gold is heavy. I can't even imagine how they did this.
