your Bibles out this morning and you can turn I know we're going to do a full circle this morning but turn to Ephesians 6 first and I don't have very many slides this morning but we do have a lot of scriptures we're going to go through but I've entitled this this morning uh moving past The Gatekeepers I heard the Lord speak this to me about I don't know 1:00 this morning 1:30 but moving past The Gatekeepers you're going to understand this um there's Gatekeepers and let's just look at the definition of it real quick just from uh I think it's Wikipedia uh but a gatekeeper is a person of course with us it can be an evil spirit uh but a gatekeeper is a person who controls access to something for example via a City Gate or bouncer or more abstractly controls who is granted access to a category or status uh Gatekeepers assess who is in or out in the classic words of uh management scholar Kurt Leen so a gatekeeper is someone who controls access um just remember that now we're going to uh read from Ephesians 6 and go go to down to verse 10 this is should be familiar to everyone but I I'm going this way for a reason all right but Ephesians 6:10 everybody ought to know this in this church for sure but Paul writes by the Holy Spirit to Timothy he says finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might put on the whole armor of God that you may be that you may be able to stand against the Ws of the devil for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities against Powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places or Heavenly places now this is talking about the fallen angels and the demon spirits and the people they work through so can we get that list right there fallen angels are one thing demons are another thing and then there are people who the demons work through to be these Gatekeepers and we're going to see this in a second but we're at war with the Demonic realm every day whether you know it or not whether you discern it or not whether you see it or not you're at war with it coming against your mind you're at war with it uh talking and working through people around you it the war is not going to end until Jesus comes and binds up Satan and cast him in the bottomless pit for a thousand years then we will have some some true peace but you can experience some peace now if you learn
how to deal with these entities we'll call them these evil spirits and these fallen angels and that's why he says put on the whole armor of God now I do believe in each piece of the armor we're going to read is is I believe it's a literal thing it's a real thing in the spirit and that you can put it on but it also each piece represents Jesus represents who he is so let's read through this he says wherefore verse 13 take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand stand therefore having your loins G about with truth Jesus is the way the truth and the life the word of God is the truth he is the word made flesh it says having the breastplate of righteousness well he is our righteousness because he lived a sinless life and died in our place he gives us righteousness through faith then it says what and your feet shot with the preparation of the gospel of peace and of course he is everything the gospel is about it's all about Jesus we just sang that a minute ago he says above all taking the shield of faith wherewith we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked the Bible says that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith it says he's dealt to every man The Measure of Faith so as you see and there's another passage in I think it's in Ephesians 4 somewhere but it says put on the Lord Jesus Christ right so basically everybody say this with me the armor of God the armor of God is Jesus is Jesus and everything he represents now we're not finished of course but it says here we take the shield of faith and we take the helmet of salvation well who is our Salvation right and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God and we know Jesus Jesus is the Living Word made flesh and then he says this somebody say praying always praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for All Saints so this just lays down the battle we're to put on the armor of God but it's all about Jesus it's all about Jesus being Lord of your life it's all about being surrendered to him that song Johnny and Julie that song is so anointed I'm just going to tell you that is so Anointed The anointing of God is on you too even stronger than I felt at Skyfall it's like he's increasing the anointing on your life um and that there's going to be a lot more songs coming to you but that was that was absolutely beautiful and that's as it should be God should be giving us new songs amen I love that um but I want you to go with me now as we talking about this gatekeeper thing I want you to go with me to Matthew 23
three the Lord made this passage of this thing that he had to say to the Pharisees just jump off the page at me last night and of course this is when when Jesus had to rebuke the Pharisees and we're going to start at chapter 23:1 then spake Jesus to the multitude and to his disciples saying the scribes and the Pharisees sit at Moses seat all therefore whatsoever they bid You observe and that observe and do but do not after their works for they say and do not so he's saying these people you know at the time remember the old Covenant was still intact so Jesus is saying yes the Pharisees sit in Moses seat this is very important for you to understand what I'm going to tell you this morning what are the Pharisees to us now the Pharisees were the they were actually the ones walking in the Covenant of God the old Covenant they were faithful they were devout they were very Pious now of course we know they got into pride and they got into sin and uh it became a money-making thing as well and sounds kind of like what's happened to the church now right but there were some good Pharisees everybody remembers Nicodemus right he was honorable and G was an honorable teacher and there were some people that were genuinely sincere Pharisees okay and here is the problem Jesus came to them of course moving trying to move them from the old Covenant into the New Covenant and even though they knew the Prophecies of him coming even though though they really a lot of them were hungry for the Messiah to show up but what happened to them was that their pride their religious pride and some of the false doctrines that they had believed and been deceived by the devil and they let money and and I position become the issue the Pharisees missed Jesus the Messiah standing right in front of them even though they saw him heal every manner of sickness and disease they saw him do what never a man no Prophet had ever done and that was open the blind eyes and it was specifically prophesied in the Old Testament that the Messiah when he would come would open blind eyes and cause the to walk and do all those things there is really no excuse excuse for them missing him resisting him turning against him becoming an obstacle see they became an
obstacle to others and Jesus says this to them even about the old Covenant they were walking in to me this is one of the most dangerous things but we have these people today all over the place let's read it I want to go down to what let's just keep reading about them he says this he says verse four for they bind heavy burdens and Grievous to be born and lay them on men's shoulders but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers mean they don't live what they tell others to live then he says this but all their Works they do to be seen of men so they want to be seen as righteous and holy men and they want to be exalted and lifted up by people so all their work they do to be seen of men they make broad their felies that's their garments and enlarge the borders of their garments they love the uppermost rooms at the feast in the chief seats in the synagogues I think about this sometimes in some of these Christian meetings where they have VIP seating um they loved greetings in the marketplaces they love to be called Rabbi teacher teacher master master right and but Jesus Jesus said be not called Rabbi for one is your master even Christ and you're all Brethren and of course but I want to get down let's drop on down this is verse 13 is what I want to focus on right now because I could preach through this whole chapter just piece by piece but this it's not my plan today he says here but woe unto you scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites now hypocrites just simply means you're pretending to be something on the outside you're not really on the inside you don't really live it and this is what he's trying to tell them but he says but woe unto you scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites for you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men for you neither go in yourselves neither suffer ye that are entering therein to go in so what he's saying is you guys stand in the way you're The Gatekeepers you're walking in the True Religion you're walking you're sitting in Moses seat you have the authority you're the correct religion with the correct God of creation but you don't go all the way into the kingdom of God and people that are trying to go in you stop and hinder woo now let me tell you that's a gatekeeper let me tell you there's Gatekeepers everywhere and some of them are Baptist and some of them are Presbyterian and some of them are Pentecostal and some some of them are Catholic Roman Catholic and some of them are Church of Christ some of them are missionary Baptists we could go down
the list pretty much what has happened today to Christianity is they have become the Pharisees and the scribes and some of them even the Sadducees and what they do is they only go so far and then they stand in the way of others who are looking to go in because they don't tell them the truth they don't let them in the kingdom and we're going to Define what the kingom I'm going to show you what the kingdom is here in a minute but they block but they make people think and this is what's so dangerous about these Gatekeepers is that they make people think that they are the way in but they're really stopping let's put that back up my gate they're really stopping at the gate and this is what so sad there's so many people that are so deceived the churches now don't even preach remember Jesus said this when he said you know repent for the kingdom of God is at hand right repent believe the gospel no man shall see the Kingdom of Heaven unless he is born again right and that to be born again you must believe Jesus Is God In the Flesh the way the truth and the life that he died on the cross for your sins that he rose from the dead you have to surrender your life completely repent turn away from your sins I mean it's a whole change of life turn away from the worldly system that's out there and totally surrender to Jesus until you get the witness of the holy spirit that you've been washed you've been cleansed you've been regenerated ated the Bible says we should know that we are saved we should know that we are born again but remember Jesus said no man will see the kingdom of God unless he's born again meaning you can't get in how many churches I know this because over the last say 20 or 30 years I have watched church after church after church not even teach about being born again the word repentance now is left out because what they say is this just believe believe in Jesus and all your sins are washed away past present and future you don't have to repent it's automatic let me just tell you right now that's a gatekeeper they are keeping you from going all the way in to the kingdom of God and telling you oh you know Jesus loves everybody all your your sins are washed away you don't have to change anything you don't have to stop your fornication or your adultery or your pornography or your drunkenness or your homosexuality no you don't have to stop in there Come Just As You Are and you know what that's what these people fill these churches they F these churches but
they're not getting in the gate of the kingdom of God much of this stuff that that that that puts itself out there as the church is a gate they're just Gatekeepers they're Pharisees they are standing in the way they don't go into the kingdom all the way and they don't let you go in but they make you think that you're getting in as long as you come to church once in a while as long as you tithe boy they they know that's kind of their oh you got to tithe and remember the Pharisees were big on that tithing thing they'd even steal money from widows right money ruled them being seen of men rule them think about today it's about how many followers you got on Twitter or X now or Instagram or Facebook oh let's let me train I get the the ads come up Christian let me help you get a million subscribers let me show you how to manipulate people to follow you so you can look like a big thing and I know Ministries right now if I could name them I know Ministries that all they do is one stunt after another one hype after another one clickbait after another but they don't ever tell you to repent of your sin that you have to stop being a fornicator an adulter an idolator oh an idolator what is that an idol is anything you put in front of Jesus anything anybody they don't tell you you can't go to heaven if you're an idol they don't tell you that lukewarm Christians Jesus said if you're lukewarm I'm going to spit you vomit you actually that's the word in the Greek I'm going to vomit you out of my mouth man when I was a radical back in the day y'all think I'm bad now when I was young I was a fire brand I used to wear a sweat shirt that said lukewarm Christians make me puke and then it had Jesus Revelation three whatever 16 or whatever it is oh I got some looks at that one and it had like splattered look uh I walked into this church with you know the guys that have the collars uh trying to look like Catholics but they're not and I walked into one of those actually I was working for a Christian radio station and Twila Paris had come we'd had her come to do a concert at this church and the church was a big church but it was one of those ecumenical churches like and so these two pastors there with the wearing the dog collars came up and they I had the
uh I had that lukewarm Christians make me puke shirt on and so did my friend and Lance and my and Rick my friend Rick at the time and he looked this those guys looked said well you guys are not trying to be ecumenical at all are you I said nope well no we're not and uh because the truth the truth hurts you know I stood up in First Baptist Church when I was 20 years old 21 years old God sent me to First Baptist Church in obica to stand up and say that very thing I stood up in front of about two to three th000 people because the Lord sent me to say this to them and he said I said Jesus said lukewarm Christians will be spit out of his body that means you were in his body and if he spits you out of his body you're no longer in his body and only the body of Christ is going to make it into the kingdom of God and see that's why Jesus said and you can put it up Matthew 7:21 he said many will say to me Lord Lord in that day they'll say to me Lord but he said what they will not enter the the kingdom of God let's read it not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of My Father which is himen just leave that up here for a second let's let's think about this how many people say they're Christians in America how many people I I I could say some stuff I probably shouldn't I just say this I guess what I'm noticing there's a lot of people that will get on Facebook and they will put up scriptures and they will argue about living for Jesus and they'll say they're Christians and they'll say we're a Christian family and all this stuff but they don't do the will of God there's drunkenness there's there's there's marijuana you there's there's habitual drunkenness habitual Mar marijana use people are calling themselves Christians and living together before they get married or as the old-timers like us you call it shacking up and thinking it's all okay I'm telling you I watch these Christians they're not even concerned about it because some Gatekeepers told them that they're eternally secure no matter how they live and that lie that lie alone is going to keep Millions upon Millions upon Millions from entering in it's a gatekeeper you understand me that's why
God had me write the book against it many years ago that's why I preach against if somebody asked the other day what do you what do you say what it's probably a phrase that you say more than any other in 37 years of preaching I'm going to tell you what it is y'all want to hear it I know what it is you're not once saved always saved no matter how you live if you want a quote from Pastor Dean there it is the Bible doesn't teach that it never has it never will and anybody that does even if they're sincere people they are still Gatekeepers whether they know it or not anybody that says your sins are forgiven past present and future and you never have to confess them or repent they are a gatekeeper that are going to keep you out of the kingdom of God if you don't stop the sin and surrender to Jesus and follow him and do the will of God for your life you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven you will go to hell that is the way it is I know people don't like to hear that anymore but I'm going to tell you right now these churches that will not talk about hell eternity Judgment Day when God's going to say to some of these people depart from me angels take them and cast them out into outer Darkness take them and put them into the Flames of Hell the Lord is going to separate who is following him and who is not I've always said this you will end up in the place of the one you follow oh I'm following Jesus but you're drinking all the time no you're not you're deceiving yourself oh I'm following Jesus but you're shacking up with your boyfriend or girlfriend you're not married you're living in fornication premarital sex and you think you can live in that habitually no you're not a you're not in righteousness you're a fornicator and the Bible is clear let's put up we're going to come back to this in a second but let's let's put up the famous verse I passage I quote all the time friend of mine said years ago this ought to be on the on a plaque in outside of every church maybe we going we going to make us a big plaque of this because it just needs to be plastered on the side of the church wall every Church in if every Church in America preached this passage there would be Revival in these mega churches that are so dead and some of these denominational churches that are so dead Galatians 5 19 let's read it scary verses today you know why because I want you to see the kingdom of God I want you to enter in I don't want a
gatekeeper that may have a doctrine of divinity to keep you out or a scoffield reference Bible to keep you out verse 19 Paul wrote writing to Christian the churches of galatia he says now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these adultery fornication uncleanness lasciviousness idolatry witchcraft hatred variance emulations wrath Strife seditions heresies envyings murders drunkenness reings reings is just drunk partying and such like of the which I tell you before as I have also told you in time past that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God now the word do in Greek is the word praso p r a SS o praso and praso means habitually to practice something habitually so Paul is laying out to the church to the churches of somebody say to the churches with me churches Paul is saying to the churches of galatia if you live habitually in these sins that I just listed you're not going in so I stand in pretty good company here with the Apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit saying you don't go in if you are doing this let me just tell you the biggest gatekeeper sin habitual sin that's a lifestyle that you practice will keep you out and people will tell you if you want to in this world you can find someone to tell you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear and anybody telling you what you want to hear and not what you need to hear is a gatekeeper amen so these these pastor that won't preach the whole Bible from Genesis to the maps that won't say the word repent that won't talk about demons and deliverance that won't talk about Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever he still heals he still delivers from demons he still baptizes in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues anybody that cuts that short and doesn't go in is a gatekeeper think about it who's been a gatekeeper in your life a lot of you I know for a fact went to churches before you came to this one that you know they they they didn't go in and they didn't let you go
in and many of you have told me I just didn't know why didn't you know see what's what's dangerous sometimes more dangerous than what these these dead gatekeeping churches preach and teach what's more dangerous is what they Don't Preach what they leave out what they omit and if you're sitting there and you never hear it and you don't read it for yourself you're going to let the gatekeeper keep you out of going all the way in see I done made up my mind I made up my mind in June of 1987 I said Lord I'm going all the way with you or I'm not going at all I will not be a hypocrite see let me tell you you want a good definition from Pastor Dean know what a hypocrite is a hypocrite doesn't go all the way with Jesus but pretends like they have or thinks they have they think they deceive themselves God understands he's okay oh but here's another thing they'll go let me tell you let me just go and tell you right now if you're lukewarm Christian if you don't really seek after Jesus if he's not number one in your life and you're really trying to to know him with all your heart soul mind and strength and you you're on fire you're if you're a lukewarm Christian here's what the devil come and say well well you know what you're not that bad you might not be a drunker you might not be an adulterer you might not be a fornicator you might be a good person in your own estimation but you haven't died to yourself to your own plans you're not doing the will of God for your life you haven't surrendered to him and there's some of you sitting in this room in our little church that hears me preach this all the time and you still haven't gone in because you're letting some gatekeeping thing in your mind oh well I'll get it right someday that's some things I want to do I still want to do this I still want to do that okay see here's the problem one day it's going to be too late one day it's going to be too late and let's say Jesus doesn't come for hundreds of years I don't believe that at all but your day your last day could be today I think about people like the woman I saw get hit with the right in front of me runs across four lanes right in front of me car coming this way going about 50 miles an hour hits her without even putting on the brakes cuz they never saw her she ran out right in front of him I saw her fly up into the air I was the first one there Bon sticking out of her body it was
ugly she was still alive I prayed over her she didn't make it and I'm going to tell you what they told me is is that that lady every day she would cross that road right there in front of Walmart she would cross the road to go over to a firehouse to get her her Firehouse up so every day they said she just came in every day get her a firehouse up how many times did she cross that road do you think when she was crossing the road that day she thought I'm going to die today I'm going to immediately the moment I die I'm either going to be in Hell lifting up my eyes in torment as the rich man said or I'm going to be absent from the body and present with the Lord because Jesus is Lord of my life now I didn't know her I don't know anything about her I hope to God that she was truly born again and hadn't listen to some gatekeeper or some false teaching or something that it kept her out but see this is this is what this the Judgment day is going to be a surprise to some people because they actually think they're in the foolish virgins remember Jesus said talking about the wise and the foolish the foolish virgins he said oh they thought they were in oh Lord knocking let us in they had their lamps the word of God they had some oil that finally ran out they had been on fire at one time they had the light and the fire going at one time but they let it go out and let me just go in and tell you you think Pastor Dean uh just has it all together all the time no I don't I know if I don't stay after Jesus with all my heart that the Flesh and the demons which are other these Gatekeepers as well will pull me out and try to keep me out of the Kingdom it's a war when do you think Jesus said take heed that that you don't lose your crown what Crown is he talking about the crown of life eternal life hold fast he say to him I want you to go to um go to Romans 14 I'm going show you several things about the kingdom of God so you say well okay what is the kingdom well I just kind of went through the first part of it is truly repenting and being born again right that means turning from sin turning from idolatry turning from your own will turning from lukewarm Christianity turning from all that and
and truly asking Jesus to forgive you and that you are determined from this point on I'm following you and I'm going to do it your way God that's the first step but let's see what what he Paul says here Romans 14 about what the kingdom is let's define it a little bit Romans 14 we're going to go down to verse 17 I believe it is yep verse 17 for the kingdom of God is Not meat and drink but righteousness peace and joy joy in the Holy Ghost for he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace and things wherewith we may edify one another but let's back up he says the kingdom of God is Not meat and drink it's not about physical outward things he said it's not about meat and drink but righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost somebody somebody say righteousness peace and joy now I already covered righteousness what is righteousness righteousness is when you come to Jesus that's the only place you can get righteous a lot of people think well I can just try to be good but the problem is is that that's your standard God has another standard and God says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God all so it doesn't matter how good you've been in your life you have still sinned and and and been a criminal against God so you have to admit it at some point you have to just admit it and a lot of people think well I'll just be good and try to do good things and my good deeds outweigh my bad deeds and that's the way I'll be God will accept me that's a lie that's a gatekeeper you have to come to Jesus because he's the only one that did it without sin and he became the propitiation y'all like that word propitiation that means he became the sub subtitute the sacrifice the atoning one the the mediator who stepped in all right and if you are not in him and he is in you you do not have righteousness you understand that that's why it's so important to repent and to seek him until you know that you are born again and that the blood of Jesus has washed you clean and that you have his righteousness cuz your righteous is filthy rags you trying to do it on your own without him is never going to work then he says this peace the kingdom of God is Not meat and drink righteousness and he says peace now what is peace the first peace you must have is to be at peace with God the Bible says this if you're living
in sin in Disobedience Ephesians is very clear what does it say it says you are alienated from the life of God you're an enemy of God in fact James put it this way he said if you're a friend of the world you love the world you're affectionate toward the world system the pride and the lust and everything that's in it he said what he said if you love the world you're a friend of the world you're an enemy of God I saw a mega church the other day basically having a circus and the lasers and the smoke machines and the secular music there was a church here a few years ago in this town their their worship service had Bon Joi um Living on a Prayer was one of their worship song that's called loving the world you hear me they love the world they don't want to upset the world they want they want everybody to think that Christianity is cool man we can be cool like the world did Jesus call us to be cool like the world or did he call us to come out of the world and be separate and touch not the unclean thing Trunk or Treat but you know a lot of churches now they they don't care so much they they went past they realized there was a you know big used to be big protests about Halloween right celebrating evil celebrating demons and evil spirits and the death you know there used to be a big up you know churches wouldn't do anything along those lines and then you had trun or Treat come along so we're not going to do trick-or-treating I'd like this comedian the other day he said no we we told kids you can't go to somebody's door knock on the door and get can't it's too dangerous so what we're going to do is let the people come in their cars and put candy in their trunk of their cars in the darkness and teach kids that there might be candy in somebody's trunk of their car you know I was like but here it's quite funny but here's the thing a lot of churches have went on past this Nancy knows a church she used to go to years ago they they they quit trunk or treat and just went full on Halloween dressing up like witches and having demons and ghosts and stuff all decorate the church up with it let me tell what that is loving the world and a church like that that that basically says there's no separation from that
system we're going to use everything they got to try to just lure people in you're in gatekeeper church now again I'm not saying that there's not good people in those churches that are sincere but just sincerely wrong about how they're doing things but sincerity does not mean you're right I know some sincere people bowing down crying and worshiping Mary that's idolatry you're forbidden from doing that you want to talk about demons in people I have seen you want the one of the biggest demons we've ever dealt with and cast out is people that were coming out of Roman Catholicism that worshiped Mary and did prayers to Mary and when I when I say the demon of Mary idolatry I bind you break your power tear down your strongholds command you to come out man we've had screams coming out of people we had blood one one one lady blood shot out of her nose like a hose pipe casting that de demon of Mery idolatry out of her and boy y'all missed one we were exhausted after three days of Skyfall four days five days whatever it was for us Sunday night after the baptisms most everybody went home one family came up here in my office my wife heard the wife say something of this precious family she said she called me I was up here she said we need to pray with this lady let me tell you Christian lady born again sweet as pie full of demons oh but wait a Christian can't have a demon right that's what they tell you let me just go and tell you this right now anybody out there saying that that a Christian can't have a demon in them is a gatekeeper Dan mohler's one of them you mullites out there you're going to keep your demons and Dan's going to impart some more to you oh I just hurt somebody's feelings right there Dan Mohler hates Deliverance but so do most churches because they don't understand it and they don't do it yet Jesus said these signs shall follow them that believe let's put that up these signs shall follow them that believe Mark 16 what he said first thing he said is in my name they shall cast out demons that's not something just for pastors to do Christians are supposed to be casting demons out of f let me tell that sweet little lady that came in my office this was the most dramatic Deliverance that my wife is seen and she's been doing them with me for 16 years now we've seen all kinds of crazy stuff we've seen people growling rolling on the floor throwing up stuff they didn't eat uh blood shooting out of
their nose like a hose pipe and let me tell you this little lady little bitty tiny thing went to complete manifestation like squirming trying to uh just it was just bizarre her whole face changed we even saw her jaw grow out a little bit her face took on the form of the demon her eyes changed like cat eyes the demons started talking through they were growling and talking to I'm like oh boy so this was a Deliverance where every now and then when it gets that that you command it to tell me its name like Jesus did with Legion and I had to start commanding okay demon tell me his name and then what the demons did talking through her gave me some they said whatever their name was in some foreign language I'd never heard I said in English and then when I commanded them to tell me in English what they were saying the Demonic look in her face was like I want to kill you and man that thing was oh boy and it would say some weird name I mean we had every name under the sun cuz it was one demon after another I actually had to command some of them not just to tell me their name but to tell me how they got in because they would say something gibberish sometimes and I say all right just tell me how you got in and they would say mother father grandfather and come to find out the reason she had so many demonic spirits in her so many powerful ones was because her family had been in Satanism and Witchcraft Voodoo and they had done this stuff to her when she was a child woohoo let me tell you and you know what she didn't have memory of it because she didn't remember anything going back in her childhood like there was a cut off point at about what did she say 12 13 she finally started that's not normal you should remember stuff going back to a actually some of us to two and three and four years old you should remember stuff and so if a church doesn't talk about demons and talk about binding them in jesus' name and casting them out in jesus' name let me just go on and tell you right now they're really not going to help people all get them all the way into the kingdom let me show you something what was what' I tell y'all well that that right there you see Mark 16 verse 17 but go to Matthew 12 well put this verse up first um 1 Corinthians 4: 20 and then we'll go to hey it's not even 12:00 yet y'all can you imagine what I've already gone through and it's still 10 to 12 we're doing good are y'all enjoying this little
journey it is a little journey what do he say here I love this for the kingdom of God is not in word but in power somebody say power have y'all noticed that most churches are just a bunch of talk they got nothing to back up what they preach and Jesus said that he would confirm his word with signs following right that's Mark 16 and this right here everybody see that this is uh 1 Corinthians 4:20 look at it I want you to look at it look at it in the Bible look at it on the screen this means holy ghost miraculous Supernatural power dunamus in the Greek the kingdom of God is not in word only just talk but in power let me just tell you right now if a church is not preaching about the power and Gifts of the Holy Spirit casting out demons healing and miracles dreams and Visions God speaking to his people and moving and leading us they Gatekeepers they might be sincere sweet little Gatekeepers like Mother Teresa she's a gatekeeper though she she's not going into the kingdom of God and others that are trying to go in she doesn't let them she says if you're a Hindu just keep being the best Hindu you can if you're a Buddhist just keep being the best Buddhist but because she's helping little orphans which are probably getting trafficked out of there we have evidence that that's probably been going on there a long time but because they put little quotes of her up on you know little little memes quotes oh Mother Teresa is such a Godly woman no she's not she's a gatekeeper where' I tell you to turn or are we going to oh oh yeah Matthew 12 I don't know the Lord wanted me remember how we started in Ephesians 6 and I said we're going to come around a full circle to dealing with the Demonic realm why is that because the kingdom of God is not in word only but in power but you will not have power if you don't learn how to resist and fight and cast out the demons you will not be able to help anybody really you might can lead somebody to Jesus but some of these people that you lead to Jesus that might get born again that might get saved they might step in the kingdom of God they will be yanked out by the demons if they don't get free from them this is why so
many fall away and fall back they never get rid of the Demonic strongholds in them and so they're pulled back into sin or into error deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons but let's go down to this is Matthew 12 we'll go down to verse 22 so nobody will be able to say that I didn't go through the Bible today right now this is Jesus and this is all about casting out demons let's let's look at this binding them and casting them out then was brought unto him one possessed with the devil blind and dumb and he healed him in so much that the Blind and dumb both spake and saw and all the people were amazed and said is not this the son of David but when the Pharisees heard it what Here Come The Gatekeepers right Jesus cast the demons out of this boy or this person he was healed he was blind and dumb so Jesus just cast out a demon that was making him blind and unable to speak sometimes the sickness or the infirmity or the problem is a demon not all the time but a lot of the time all right and if it's not cast out there's not going to be healing and freedom from it so Jesus does this I love this but verse verse 24 but people were saying is not this the son of David is not this the Messiah but when the Pharisees heard it they said this fellow does not cast out Devils but by bills above the prince of the Devils gatekeeper and let me tell you you want to see the devil try to be a gatekeeper thought talking about spiritual warfare and casting demons out of people Deliverance woo buddy there'll be some Gatekeepers that step in real quick oh no that's not for Christians in fact they used to teach my one of my pastors used to teach his his Seminary Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas that he got his doctorate from said when he was in graduate school getting his doctorate degree from this the you know the mecca of the Baptist Theology and this was in the 70s he said they were teaching that demons are not active in North America not active in have y'all looked just out huh huh borders yeah I know Lance said we must have had strong borders demons are active everywhere now let's keep reading he said and Jesus knew their thoughts and said unto them every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to Desolation and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand now I want you to notice in the context of talking about casting demons out of this person and healing them Jesus starts talking about
this is part of the kingom and he says then he says if Satan cast out Satan he has divided against himself how shall then his kingdom stand and if I by be abub or the chief devil cast Devils out Devils by whom do your children cast them out therefore they shall be your judges but if I cast out Devils by the spirit of God then the kingdom of God is come unto you everybody see that casting demons out bringing Deliverance to people in the mighty name of Jesus is bringing the kingdom of God to them you see the problem is again we have to keep going the kingdom of God gets deeper and deeper and stronger and stronger as you keep walking with him in your journey you don't stop and can I tell you that there are Gatekeepers all along the way I remember what uh chicher told me she was baptized in the Holy Spirit the evidence of speaking in other tongues before she even came to our church and she went to a Methodist Church in Auburn was it and told them and they they suggested that she see a psychiatrist was that and a neurologist yeah that's a gatekeeper right there how is it that you can't read the book of Acts and 1 Corinthians and understand that the gift of tongues is for us and it's a blessing and it helps it's it's a gift to help us in prayer it's a gift to strengthen us spiritually it's a gift to give us refreshing it's a gift that when God gives the gift of tongues and interpretation it's prophecy it is the holy spirit speaking to us and giving us Revelation and show the mysteries of God what is bad about the gift of tongues nothing except it offends the world system it offends dead Christianity because they don't have it I do [Music] though somebody say do I have to speak in tongues to be saved no you don't do I have to have the no you I tell people you don't have to speak in tongues you get to you understand the difference you need to Paul when he said I wish that you all spake with tongues what does that say I don't wish everybody to have this Jesus said let's go back to Mark 16 real quick because we're talking about power the manifestation of the gifts of the holy spirit tongues interpretation of tongues prophecy Discerning of spirits the gift of faith the gift of
healing and working of Miracles right all of that is a manifestation of God's power go back to chapter f verse 15 we're going to read this he said to them go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to Every Creature he that believeth that is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they shall cast out Devils they shall speak with new tongues that means neverbe known they shall take up serpents and if they drink it deadly thing it shall not hurt them they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover so then the Lord when the Lord had spoken unto them he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God and they went forth and preached everywhere the Lord working with them confirming the word the talk with what power that's why 1 Corinthians 4:20 says the kingdom of God is not in word and we could put there in word only but in power let me ask you a question as a Christian are you pursuing the power of the kingdom do you want to operate in the gifts do you want to cast out demons do you want to lay hands on the sick and see them recover do you want to see Miracles flow through you of course you should and you should it should be your constant prayer Lord I want to be filled with the knowledge of your will so that I can do what you want me to do and I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and have the gifts of the Spirit and your power flowing through me so I can give people something more than just words that woman that family that was here from Texas she was being tormented is a Christian family she would be manifesting in the house causing these upros and things that and manifesting demons throwing her on the floor and talking through her to her her children trying to cast them out and they just they were they just didn't know how actually the Reason God had me do it in front of them for whatever it was over two hours was so they would learn how to do it correctly and in fact I turned around a couple times I said this is how you do this if the demons take over someone's body this is how you have to do it most Deliverance is just sitting down with someone there's no big manifestations and you're just getting rid of the cobwebs hiding out in your life doesn't mean that you're totally possessed it's just they have areas where they have a stronghold but if you don't get them out they these demons become The Gatekeepers to keep you from the power from peace remember he said the kingdom of God is Not meat and drink but righteousness peace somebody say peace
how can you have peace if you're being thrown to the floor and demons growling through you and tormenting you but a lot of you the demons control you you you have Outburst of anger that you can't control you have lust you can't control you you can't control pornography you can't control fornication and adultery you can't control your sexual issues you can't control your your letting your mind go off and think about evil things you're tormented and if you don't learn how to confront the demons you're not going to experience the kingdom of God see repentance I tell people all the time repentance and being born again is the first step into the kingdom the next thing you should seek be baptized in the Holy Spirit the evidence of speaking in other tongues just like the Bible says then it should be you should be seeking deliverance from the Demonic strongholds because we all have them because we've all opened open doors we have them even some from our childhood that have influenced us their in our entire lives you want to know why these kids some of them say I felt like I was a homosexual at 5 years old and they hadn't had they hadn't been molested they hadn't seen pornography they're living in a Christian home and all of a sudden they're little homosexuals all of a sudden that's a spirit that's a Deon that gets in them to start convincing them them of this it's just like our I wish Ted was here today but he testified at Skyfall but Ted Ted If it hadn't been for deliverance let me tell you Ted transitioned had the surgeries and everything the hormones I mean he did everything you could possibly do to change himself from a man to a woman he lived legally and medically surgically as a woman for 12 years years and he was a Christian who fell away from God he's a Christian that the demon Gatekeepers pulled him out and got him to go down that road started out with just trying on his mama's clothing he just liked to wear her clothes let me where did that idea come from do you think that idea came from God or from his own mind no it's demonic and he lives this way in misery after 12 years he said he had buyer remorse and at the time you know his sister Mary L she had been coming to church and hear me talk about what Deliverance binding demons casting the demons out so Ted came over to her house one day to drop off something and he was so depressed and basically suicidal because let me tell you you can live with demons only so long before they make you suicidal and I want to tell you right
now listen to me everyone everybody watching thousands of people everybody in here let me tell you this right now thoughts of suicide is demonic it's a demon if you commit suicide you do not go to heaven do you understand that I want to get that out the Bible says if you destroy this Temple God will destroy you well you think he's destroying you in heaven no that's talking about eternal damnation destruction forever you're going to go into tment when you kill yourself self it's self- murder murderers do not go to Heaven There is no opportunity to repent now I will say this there are some people that get so messed up on drugs or maybe the doctors gave them too much of them psychotropics and they end up killing themselves so I'm not saying some of them may be right before they die they cry out to God so I'm not saying everybody doesn't make it but listen to me you don't go down that road because when they start just convincing you well Life's a little just too hard I'm depressed everything's going going wrong and then you put some psychotropic drug on top of that where they tell you that the side effects are suicidal ideations and we know a pastor's son this was so sad several years ago several years ago we were still downstairs who the got they they put him on some anti-depressant medication and I can't remember the kind but whatever it was the the brand said that some people would have the strong urges ideation to hang themselves guess how he killed himself just like the medicine warned phia yeah Pharma that's for sure but suicide is demonic you got to resist it with everything in you y'all be shocked I remember one time the Lord told me this is when about 2015 I think it was and told me somebody in here in our church was contemplating suicide and I actually kind of they were like sitting over in this direction I actually kind of pointed I do this God has me do this sometimes I don't know who I'm talking about but he'll have me point right at him when I'm talking about I have no this has happened many times and when the person came and told me I was shocked I would have never picked that person dealing with truly dealing with the idea of actually going through with killing himself we had a good talk and bound those demons and res got got him free from that but see this is the these Gatekeepers the devil his demon demons his Fallen Angels they're trying to keep you
out of the kingdom of God and even if you come in they trying to snatch you back out you hear me and this is why Jesus said casting out demons is bringing the kingdom of God to you because it will enable you to stay in the Kingdom see put up 1 Timothy 4:1 see this is I'm gonna give you the scripture the demons trying to take you out of the Kingdom it's real clear they do it 1 Timothy 4:1 Paul wrote by the Holy Spirit he said now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times spe specifically the last days leading up to the time getting close to the second coming of Jesus he said some shall depart from the faith giving heed or listening to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils people are going to depart from the faith they're going to walk away from Jesus how many I I can tell you how many Born Again Christians have walked away because they've listened to these seducing spirits and doctrines of demons who actually had strongholds in them that were never torn down and cast out oh this is so vital kingdom of God is Not meat and drink but what righteousness peace Joy how can you have peace and joy if you're being tormented by demons how can you have peace and joy if you're tormented by Demons of heaviness and depression suicidal demons how are you having peace and joy I remember when we cast demons out of chetra from her Hindu and Roman Catholic background who was it somebody said we all noticed she said when she well first of all after we finish casting the demons out of her and she's a Christian she was a Christian when we finish going through casting the demons out and the Mary worship demon she said she felt this heaviness lift off of her and she felt peace and the next day well I guess it was the next day but yeah her husband to be that they didn't know they were going to be at the time walked up to her and said your face looks completely different and I'm going to tell you I said it to her too several people did she looked like a different person her whole countenance changed and Jesus is the only one that can wash you here hear me when when I say this giving your life fully to Jesus is the only way sins can be washed away it's the only way you can be born
again and inherit eternal life it's the only way you can have power against these demon Spirits if you don't go all the way with Jesus these things will be able to manipulate you and you will never experience the peace and the joy and the power of the Kingdom you hear me don't let these Gatekeepers keep you out say we're Pastor Dean I've gone through some Deliverance but I feel like there's still more yeah guess what it's a process sometimes with people sometimes it takes more than one session and a lot of it you can do yourself some of it you may need help with we've got it all you can go to deal.org and it's got the Deliverance section you go there all the teachings on Deliverance the questionnaire you need to fill out that'll help you understand the doorways you've opened it's all there the prayer the sample prayer how to bind them and cast them out but listen even if you're delivered you're going to be attacked by these seducing spirits and these e these different types of evil spirits I get hit sometimes with depression just hit me for no reason everything's wonderful I'm I'm I'm happy am I not happy in the morning I get up dancing and having a good time they hate it sometimes they say after you know once I wake up I'm a morning person it takes me a minute but I'm a morning person but it'll hit me and I know it's not from God and it's not normal I know it's demonic and I have to fight it off if you're getting hit with depression and heaviness and suicide thoughts you've got to bind those demons and resist them you know my wife right before we got married we were driving in in her car her Mountaineer that got repossessed right right right after mine did right I mean we we were poor as Church mice um but we were riding her car and I felt I felt this Darkness come in the car this spiritual Darkness it was heavy and I felt this evil and we had just had a little kind of a little argument and I just felt but it was it was just demonic because you know me and her we get an argument then we go silent you know we get this like I ain't talking to her and she's like I ain't talking to him I go in that silent mode yet we were sitting beside each other in the vehicle kind of hard to walk away right and um but immediately the Holy Spirit
showed me that the demons there were demons in her from the abortions that she had many years even though she' repented and the had been forgiven of having those abortions the Lord showed me that she still had the demon spirits of murder and death and suicide in her and what was this yeah she said she said and she confessed that there were times she'd be driving her car down the road and this overwhelming feeling would come upon her to just drive into a tree or try to kill herself and remember one of the Demons Matthew what is it 177 Mark 9 they brought the boy said sometimes he tries to cast himself into the fire and into the water to kill himself but it was really demonic and she would say it would just be overwhelming but she had enough of Jesus and Truth in her to know that's that's not of God but she said it was so strong and overwhelming and when you have these strongholds in you the feeling will sometimes be almost overwhelming like Unstoppable this why a lot of people keep falling back into sexual sin because they don't get rid of the demons and then they rise up and this feeling becomes almost overwhelming Unstoppable but I just reached over I'm driving the car I didn't even stop I just reached over and laid hands on her I told her I said you need we need to cast these demons out of you that came in through your abortions and let me tell you I bound the demon spirits of death suicide murder Darkness I just bound a list of them in Jesus name and command them to go and immediately it lifted off of her and left and I felt it leave that dark heavy feeling leave the vehicle and she'll tell you that since that moment there's never been another overwhelming feeling of suicide and this is another thing for homosexuals let me just say this homosexuality a lot of Home people that got end up in homosexuality or trans a lot not all are there because they were molested when they were young or they got involved in some sexual sin or perversion very young okay not all but most um sometimes it just comes down through the generations and they just become that the generational sin and curse comes down and visits them but um I forgot where I was going with that what did I say right before that what that oh the homo the the homosexual thing let me just say this and I've shared this and this is important but I've shared this before but some of you are new and some watching but we were me and a friend of mine were witnessing on the campus at near Auburn University down by tumor's corner and we
we came up one this is one Saturday night and we came up on these two guys that were clearly homosexual and they were very vocal about that and one of them made the mistake of saying well I tried Jesus and it didn't work I said H something is wrong with that right because you don't try first of all I told him said you don't try Jesus you either go all the way or you don't go I said but let me ask you a question I said obviously then you were trying to deal with it you wanted you didn't want to be the way you are if you went to church and tried Jesus he said yeah I mean you know I've I've had struggles back and forth so let me ask you a question when you went to that church I said did they ever set you down and say your problem is that you have demonic strong holes of whoredoms lust perversion homosexuality that you have these demons in you however you got them generationally or through sexual sin or molestation or some rape or abuse happened to you I said did they tell you you needed those demons bound and cast out in jesus' name so you could be free he said I've never heard a church tell me that I said well that's what you need and let me tell you we left him with his head down in deep thought cuz he knew he knew see there's people like that that know they're wrestling with something powerful in them that's evil they know it they don't like it they don't want it but they don't know how to get free and it's our job to preach the gospel of the Kingdom now what Jesus said he went preaching the gospel of the Kingdom well the kingdom is righteousness peace joy and Power in the Holy Ghost amen say this with me I want to be in the Kingdom I want to be in the Kingdom I want to stay in the Kingdom I want to keep going deeper in the Kingdom then don't let the gatekeeper stop you don't let the demons don't let the pastors don't let the churches don't let the lukewarm Christians don't let them discourage you or stop you you can go as deep and as far with the Lord Jesus as you want to go you hear me you can go as far as you want to go and you know what you can stop at some point say I go no further that's where every denomination got created we're going to go this far and stop I want it all amen let's stand thank you Lord thank you
Jesus Hallelujah let's let's pray Heavenly Father we thank you today that you've made the way for us to enter into the kingdom the precious blood of Jesus from that cross and his resurrection power you've sent the holy Spirit to be our comforter our guide to fill us to give us power that we won't just be talk and we won't be Hypocrites but we'll have the real power and the real Gospel of the Kingdom Lord help us overcome every gatekeeper that comes into our lives that may be in in our lives right now a relative a pastor another Christian that's trying to stop a spirit of suicide that's trying to end your life Lord I pray that people won't let these Gatekeepers keep them from you or take them away from you that they won't listen to the seducing spirits and doctrines of demons and depart from you Lord we pray that people will fully repent believe the gospel of the Kingdom be filled with the Holy Spirit be delivered from the Demonic forces and continue to grow and learn the truth all the truths from your scriptures Lord God we pray this in Jesus name somebody say Amen hey Johnny and Julie can y'all come y'all mind if we do that song can y'all do that surrender one more time do y'all mind it's so good this is the song I mean I when I heard it they they were just sent Nancy a little recording of them singing it and I was like the anointing is so strong on this song and it's beautiful y'all y'all just I'm just I wish I had that gift I don't have that gift it's beautiful um let's worship with this song and then we'll go do the baptism [Music] amen the battle isn't won by power or by might but trusting in you Lord by faith and not
