Skyfall 2024 it's going to be good so you can still register out there Skyfall conference.org just do it right just do it all right everybody got their Bibles this morning I hope all right want you to turn to Second Kings chapter 4 so I was praying last night and just asking the Lord to confirm it this morning but I do feel like I need to share this with you and to me it's going to be kind of basic but I think there's somebody that needs to hear this this morning um CU I even know some of us Christians and I'm talking about true Born Again Christians some of us get in a rut sometimes don't we and some of us let the fear of man put us in a box we just don't do what we're supposed to do because we worry about what other people think don't we or we're afraid we might be rejected or ostracized or persecuted a little bit right if we actually open our mouths and speak but I'm going to show you a principle this morning um do you want the anointing of the holy spirit in your life all right I'm going to share a little secret with you um but let's read this this is the story here of the Prophet Elisha when he helps the Widow I don't know what we'll call this the morning the little pot of oil maybe a little pot of oil it says now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha saying thy servant my husband is dead and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the lord and the Creditor has come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen and Elisha said unto her what shall I do for thee tell me what hast thou in the house and she said thine handmade hath not anything in the house save a pot of oil then he said go borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbors even empty vessels borrow not a few and when thou art come in Thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons and thou shalt pour out into all those vessels somebody say pour out into those vessels pour out into those vessels all right that's an important Point here but he says you shall pour out into those vessels Thou shalt set aside that which is full so she went from him and shut the door upon her and upon her sons who brought the vessels to her and she poured out and it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said unto her son bring me yet a vessel and he said unto her there is not a vessel more more and the oil stayed or stopped and she came and told the man of God and he said
go sell the oil and pay thy debt and live uh thou and thy Children of the rest now I was reading this last night and it just kind of jumped off the page to me um you know we just kind of sometimes we read this stuff and we don't pay attention and one of the things I found interesting is that she said her husband who was of the sons of the prophets now let me just go on and tell you what that represents because we're going to get into this and I think there's an allegory here that's going to help us a lot though this was a real story but there's spiritual truth here but being of the sons of the prophets um this was a family that feared the Lord this was a family that knew the Lord um and they knew not just the Lord but they knew the voice of the Lord they could hear the Lord and the fact that it says that he feared the Lord means that they were obedient so this was a a Christian family we could say if we were in the New Covenant we could say they are a Christian family that loved the Lord that obeyed the the word of God but also had a relationship with the Lord whereby they could hear his voice now this is very important and I just want to tell you that if you're a Christian that's yet to be filled with the Holy Spirit IR to the point that you have learned to hear and discern the the voice of the Holy Spirit and the leading of the Holy Spirit you should be pursuing that above all else I I'm just going to tell you the Lord said that my sheep hear my voice he told us the Holy Spirit would speak to us and show us things to come this is Bible New Testament Christianity is all about hearing from the Lord now I'm going to share this as I always do the Lord will speak to us number one primarily through the word as we read the word as we meditate on it as we study it and he will never say anything to us in the spirit to our spirit to our minds God will never communicate anything to us that's contrary to the written word but let me just go on and tell you right now what God needs and what we what the church needs in especially in this hour in this dark hour and as it gets darker we need people who are full of the Holy Spirit and being led by the Holy Spirit now I teach on this a lot and I preach on this a lot because let me tell you you can be born again you can be born again and truly at some point in your life maybe it happened when you were a child maybe in your teenage years I don't know it could it at any point you could have been really born again but but but for the most part after that you've kind of sat in the
house you know what I'm saying you got a little pot of oil and the devil is knocking at the door to put you in bondage and nothing is happening and there was death you know I we don't know what caused if this man feared the Lord and he was a son of the Prophet meaning this was a prophet of God this was a man of God so how did he die what happened what tragedy hit this house why did this man die why did it we have a widow here and with children left over we don't know the whole story but for some reason he left them in a situation where they were in trouble but there was somebody say a little pot of oil in the house of see when you get saved let me just go and tell you when you're truly born again yes the Holy Spirit comes in you to regenerate your human Spirit that's what being born again is that's why there should be when you're born again when you repent of sin and make Jesus Lord of your life you believe the gospel there should be a witness of the Holy Spirit Romans 8 all right that is your little pot of oil you get you understand when you truly fear the lord depart from Evil make Jesus Lord of your life you're going to get that little pot of oil but let me just go on and tell you right now that is not where you are supposed to stop the Christian life isn't about going to church once in a while saying a you know we saw a book where did we see that one minute prayers book b Turners we were in B Turners the other night we saw a a book that said one minute prayers for busy people and I thought those are the kind of people the Lord's going to say well I'm too busy for you then one minute prayers this is American Christianity though because what we've done is we've put everything else in front of seeking God getting to know God and let me tell you an experience in the past is not what you depend on you hear me you've got to have an ongoing continuous growth relationship with the Lord whereby you hear his voice and are led by the Holy Spirit the Bible is clear that the children of God are led by the spirit of God it doesn't say the children of God sit in the house and do nothing you hear me most of the church world thinks that going to church maybe once a week if that maybe giving a little Maybe serving in the coffee shop they think that that is
Christianity but it is not because what we're supposed to be is full of the Holy Spirit till we are overflowing and the only way you can get full of the holy spirit is to obey the Lord and especially and you need to hear me pouring out into other vessels he never meant for you to keep what you have to yourself he never meant for you to be afraid of anybody he never meant for you to keep silence you know I was thinking about this while we were in praise and worship and I was just thinking about the whole message of Jesus was let me fill you up let me teach you the truth let's get you to repent and live holy but then I want you to go preach the gospel to Every Creature I want you to go into all the world I want you to talk to your neighbors I want you to talk to your co-workers I want you to talk to your friends and family I want you to walk up to to total strangers and pour out into them this is what I have found you ask I remember years ago I was leading the singles Ministry at at Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Montgomery and it was during a time period they didn't have a pastor and I think I had a Sunday school class there that was about 70 or 80 people in the Sunday school class even about as many or more than we have here today and we would I would started you know having all night prayer meetings every other Friday night and then on that Friday night after that we would sleep in a little bit once we went to bed at 4:00 or 5 in the morning we'd sleep in a little bit and then we would get up and that evening I would take whoever wanted to go out on the street witnessing preaching Jesus to people and I remember a lot of people had never done that before they were absolutely terrified to go take a gospel track and walk up to a stranger and hand it to him I'm not talking about talk to him but just take a track and walk up hand terrified and had never done it before and some of these Christians were some of them were teenagers some of them were in their 20s some of them were 40s and 50s and had never shared the gospel in public to a stranger that should never have happened do you understand here's what was beautiful when these people would step out of their comfort zone and out of their fear even though they were
shaking and we would do this I remember the first group I took was to Village mall in Auburn and eastel Mall in Montgomery and I remember they would just be trembling I mean terrified and once they did it though they're like wow that was great man I felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit as I talk to this person and I'm like that's because you took your little pot of oil and you started pouring it into another vessel so then God can start multiplying it and increasing it what you have from the Lord is to be given out it's not to be held in and if you will do this this is the place place where God moves this is the place where the gifts flow you want to talk about the gifts flowing you want to people want to operate in the gifts of the holy spirit well guess what guess what Acts chapter one says why did why did God send the fullness of the Holy Spirit to his people what to give us what acts 1 18 power to be a witness for him it's not for Goosebumps falling down and all that's fine but what's powerful is when you're sitting out in the street somewhere out in public and the Lord gives you a word of knowledge for somebody you read their mail I remember sitting on the bench I've shared this before in Eureka Springs Arkansas talking to this girl and as I'm talking to her about Jesus this car of young people drive by playing some some real dark music I mean like satanic music and immediately the Holy Spirit showed me and I just told her what I what the Holy Spirit revealed the word of knowledge came I just saw her in a satanic meeting in a coven of witches and she was terrified she wanted to get away from them she wanted out of it but she was terrified they would kill her and I started telling her that and as I'm telling her that the tears start rolling down she never said a word the tears just start rolling down her face as I start telling her Jesus is more powerful than the devil I said these people in this town they tried to kill me I said I'm still here because I have Jesus Christ of Nazareth they've shot at me they've cursed me they have set up situations to kill me and they told me so some of them that came out of the
satanic call told me we have tried to kill you multiple ways and not been able to and I told this young lady I said you can get out of this only if you surrender your life to Jesus Christ 100% they can't be any playing games cuz they will kill you and see tell you the truth she was probably already in trouble when they saw her talking to me but see this is what I'm talking about it's amazing when you're out there me and Kevin Wilkinson one time were in Auburn walking up and down the Main Street there college College Street downtown Auburn right there at tumor's corner end up talking to these two homosexual fellas and oh you know how they are they got all these excuses and one of them made the mistake saying I tried Jesus I said wait you don't try Jesus I said either you do or you don't you go all in or you don't go but I asked him CU he told me he went to some church and I knew it was a dead church that had no power no anointing of the Holy Spirit and I said I said so you tried Jesus so you went to a church and you got nothing that's that's what you're telling me he said yeah and I said said and I just knew the Holy Spirit gave me wisdom exactly what to say to him I said well have you ever been to a church that told you you needed your homosexual demons of perversion and lust cast out of you in Jesus name that you need deliverance from the demons in you he goes I've never heard that before I said that's the only way you're ever going to get free what's interesting is he his whole attitude changed because see I think there are some of them out there that want freedom but they can't find it in these dead churches CU they don't do Deliverance now the other guy he was not interested he was probably at the point of being a rep probate and only the Lord knows who's who but this is what we're supposed to be doing I tell people all the time one of the reasons I believe the anointing of the Holy Spirit has been on my life all these years is because I will pour out into other vessels I will go on the street the college campuses I'll go anywhere I'll talk to anybody anywhere about Jesus and I don't care I'm not afraid I'm not ashamed of the gospel and I don't let fear even when I feel fear and sometimes the fear is not you it's coming from outside and you have to bind it and resist it because it's demonic see this is why I had no fear walking into these political
meetings and speaking the truth about the Deep State and the Satanist and the Freemasons and everything else I have no fear when they come and threaten me I have no fear and they bust our door out when we get followed by weird cars on campaign uh meetings like we did campaign trips no fear no fear why because I know Jesus and I know the anointings on my life and the anointings on my life because I will tell the truth live television share my testimony in front of the entire what is it the Alabama Federation of Republican women or whatever they're called the whole big group of them from all over the state share my testimony about coming to Jesus as you pour out into other people the Lord can just start flooding you that's what I love you know I heard years ago and this is something that I can't remember who said it now I'd have to go back and but that the anointing of the Holy Spirit the power of the Holy Spirit is not for private life it's for public Ministry see that's why I tell people there are times that I you know I remind people because some people say oh you Pastor Dean ah and I'm like no Pastor Dean when he goes home has to live like everybody else the Lord doesn't give me the anointing to not have to fight and struggle and wrestle with the devil and the Flesh and resist temptation I have to do it all the same way you do but the anointing is for public Ministry and can I just say this right now all Christians are called to public Ministry there's no closet Christians you understand there's no hiding Jesus was very clear and let's put up Mark 16:15 he was very clear to us go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to Every Creature right I'm going to ask you a question do you do that Christian see like I've said before that I've got I've got people that criticized me when I ran for governor like what are you doing that for I'm doing that because God told me to do that the Holy Spirit told me to do that but part of that I didn't even need the Holy Spirit to tell me because this right here says go ye into all the world and preach the go that means the political world God might send some people into the entertainment world he might send some people into you know the education or academic world God may send you you just
have to know where he's sending you but let me just tell you right now if you're a born again Christian he's sending you there to be a light and a witness for him not just for them to see how you live but you are to preach you say well Pastor Dean if I preach the gospel if I share about Jesus if I tell people they need to repent of sin if I talk about the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit if I talk about that they're going to hate me exactly why do you care Jesus didn't say they're all going to receive it and love you and think you're great he said you'll be hated of all Nations for my name sake why will they hate us not cuz we're secret Christian that doesn't bother anybody oh I believe being I believe my faith my Christian Life I believe that that's just a private thing no it's not I've heard people say I've heard Christians say that it's a private no it's not what is that some kind of secret society we got a secret society of private Christians what do you think got all those Christians killed for their faith you think it was for them hiding do you think it for was for them keeping it to themselves no they poured out into other people and I mean in China yes they have underground churches and they have to or just everybody to be killed but even there they still share the the gospel until finally they get caught they try not to get caught as Jesus taught if they persecute you in this city flee you to another right he doesn't say you just have to stand and take it but because they're obeying to pour out the truth of the word of God the truth of Jesus to other people eventually they know as a Christian in China your life's in danger constantly and see Americans don't know what that's like about to find out though will you continue to pour out the Gospel of Jesus Christ the word of God the truth of Jesus the truth of the word from Genesis to revelation will you continue to pour that out even if you know that's going to cost you your life I'm a you know there are people right now that say oh yeah you bring
that up oh yeah I would never deny Jesus I would do you know I I've been getting ready for Skyfall I've been studying church history again you know a lot of Christians under duress of Torment threats of Torment threats of being in prison threats of death did recant their faith did deny Jesus so don't say it's impossible but I think about people right now who are too afraid to talk to their neighbor about Jesus but they say they're they if if it comes down to life and death they're going to they're going to be strong I hope so but I don't think so because there's too many people too that that they spouse their children their job their money their land their house whatever it may be is really in front of Jesus so if there's a threat to that they back away this is why many Christians are going to line up at the local mega churches to get the mark of the Beast they're going to he just you're going to remember this one day that I said this to you over and over again because you know you got to feed your family and this is just another type of credit card it's just in your hand of your forehead now beep that's what Chris Hodes the Highland said I I I had I still have the sermon clip where he said you're going to you're going to go get your yourself scanned get your stuff ha Boop and I'm like what are you laughing about I don't think I've ever seen a preacher make light of the mark of the beast because the Bible is clear if you take the mark of the beast you are eternally damned to Hell there is no forgiveness There Is No Escape The Smoke of your torment will go up day and night forever why is that not a serious matter to these preachers they're going to give an account let me just tell you right now the blood's going to be on their hands man because let me tell you what you're poured out into other people better be the truth of God's word not false Doctrine not compromise not sin Laden you better be pouring out the truth and this is interesting think about this when they ran out of vessels
to pour in the oil stopped now that's their story they couldn't find any more vessels but we're not going to have a problem with that I think we're about to hit n billion vessels and Jesus said one of the things that would happen in the end and this is powerful he said in Matthew 24 that this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to All Nations and then the end shall come not this watered down American gospel not the Roman Catholic false gospel not the Torah follower false gospel but the true Gospel of Jesus Christ whereby you come to him through faith and walk with him in faith not Catholic rituals sacraments this Gospel Matthew 24:14 this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to All Nations and then the ENT come and see this is another reason why I don't believe a pre-tribulation Rapture is biblical not just Matthew 24 but think about this why would God prepare his people the intime church right and the whole preparation of us to get filled with the Holy Spirit get full of the word of God is not just to save ourselves but to pour out into other people why would he take us out of here when the world needs us the most that makes no sense I need you to be my Witnesses but I'm snatching you out of here when they need you the most sorry not going to happen and let me just say this where did it get into the minds of people that you should want that as a Christian if I was given a choice by the Lord the Lord said to me you can be raptured out of here before the tribulation the Great Tribulation or you can stay and be my witness though you may suffer terribly which one am I going to pick as a Christian I want to get out of here or do I want to stay here and be a light and a witness and try to lead others to Jesus Christ so that they can miss going to hell I have never heard of a more selfish flesh oriented Doctrine than the
pre-tribulation Rapture me message and the Bible does not teach it in fact Jesus prayer before he went to the cross I pray not that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from Evil I mean that's his prayer don't take them out of the world just protect them while they're in it oh but Pastor Dean Revelation three says he will what guard us he will he will take us out before the tribulation no the word there means guard protect this is it's the same thing Jesus said when he says I'll keep thee from that he didn't say that doesn't mean take you out in Revelation 3:10 go ahead put it up look up the word in in the in the Greek dictionary I will keep thee does it mean take you out that you escape it means to guard while you are in the midst of it folks do you know we're going to have to be the Lord is the deck is so stacked against us the world system the drones the robots the AI will be controlling the drones and the robots it's going to take the intervention of God Almighty for any of us to survive to the end but we know some will because he said those that are alive right the dead in Christ will rise first then we which are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord see I believe in the Rapture it's just at the very end but look it says they say this because thou has kept the word of my patience I will also keep thee from the hour of Temptation which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the Earth and this is where they'll teach you it's a pre-re of rapture they they're just so dishonest either they're dishonest or ignorant as the day is long because it doesn't take a lot of work to look the words up in the verse many of these preachers pull that Greg lock business they just want to tell you what they think the word means but they don't look it up and give you the actual definition uhoh I remember that that that part of the debate hurt Greg loock so bad he was so upset with that when he said that the word worlds and Hebrews 11:3 meant planets and I was like uh no in the Greek it's Eon it means ages not planets I think that stung him worse than anything that that was right before the blow up and we got thrown out of the CH their Church it's amazing how truth does that isn't it amazing I don't have use these these
preachers that want to be famous but they don't want to give you the truth to me it's one of the scariest things I've ever seen in my life you better tell the truth you better be pouring out because what was pouring out what was in that little pot of oil that oil represents the Holy Spirit but also what is the holy what Jesus call the Holy Spirit he said the spirit of Truth so you better be pouring out into others pure sound Doctrine truth but if you are the Lord's going to start giving you more and more and more you know a few weeks ago the Lord told me a couple of things during praise and worship and one of the things he said I can't go into some of the other things but one of the things he said was because you've been faithful he was speaking to me personally he said because you've been faithful through a very I've had a very difficult time some of you know some of it he said but because you've been faithful you just you know I I got it the Lord just he's pleased when you just plow keep plowing no matter how bad it is you just keep plowing you don't regard the wind you just keep plowing and he said to me he said I'm going to increase the anointing upon your life why because I just kept pouring out and he's like okay you keep pouring out I'll keep pouring out and man there is nothing more important for the Christian than to be filled and filled again and filled again and filled again and we are overflowing and pouring out into other people's lives if you are living the way you should live and if you are preaching and pouring out truth into people's lives I tell you this you will see fruit eventually sometimes you got to plant the seed and pour out for a while sometimes you got to plow and plant for a while but then God begins to give the increase and you will see fruit if you are faithful to continue see some people that have like say recently come back to the Lord or you recently got your life straight people are going to wait until they actually think ah this is for real I remember when I first got saved a lot of them say oh it's a phase and five years later it's not a phase anymore right he means his stuff that's why you got to be faithful amen I was thinking about this I was
thinking about how Jesus said what follow me he tell them and I'm going to make you Fishers of mint are you fishing if you're fishing you're talking I know getting ready you got to get your bait ready you got to get your pole ready you got to actually leave the house right you got to go out there right means you got to be doing something but he said I'll make you Fishers of Men and then he calls the 70 and he says I'm going to send you for it to preach and to heal the sick and to cast out demons but what did he say first for them to do preach the gospel preach my message is what he was saying preach what I've been teaching you do you preach it so Pastor Dean if I preach the the truth my wife will divorce me Let Her Go adios the unbelieving depart let them depart you understand Let the dead bury the dead you put your hand in the plow and look back you're not fit for the kingdom you keep plowing oh but my friends will leave me my husband will leave me my children won't talk to me yes all painful things but will you continue to pour out and be faithful to Jesus and not fear man so many people have said I've lost too much by being a Christian I'm not doing it anymore and the oil will stop if you stop pouring out the oil will stop you know I think about you know we we we we the the western church always talks about you got to love it's all about loveing people got love just show love love love all we need is love love right but think about this Jesus said you you're supposed to love your neighbor as yourself now how many in here wants yourself to go to heaven to have eternal life is that whoa whoa I only saw a few of you okay just clarifying so you want yourself to make it to heaven to have eternal life with Jesus to have your sins
forgiven you should want that for your neighbor you should want that for your coworker you should want that for your lost family members you should want that more than anything else and if you want it bad enough you will pray for them you will will Fast for them and you will preach to them you will pour out into them see the problem is is we got our we we get our priorities and our Focus mixed up Jesus said that he did not come to call the righteous but he came to call Sinners to repentance he was saying the whole reason I am here is not just to deal with the issue of sin through his atoning sacrifice on the cross but to call Sinners to preach to Sinners to repent and then he set us to do the same thing go preach repentance in my name in fact put up Luke 24 Luke 24 go down to verse 44 this was after the resurrection of Jesus and he appeared to his disciples and he said these are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me then opened he their understanding that they might understand the scriptures now before I read more look this is them with Jesus this is what's beautiful this is what you're supposed to do in private you spend time with Jesus in prayer in Worship in the word getting understanding from him getting the word of God in you then what's next pouring out he said thus it is written verse 46 thus it is written and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem and ye are witnesses of these things and behold I send the promise of my father upon you but ye shall T in ye in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high think about these things that he told them first he gave them understanding of the scriptures then he said you go preach repentance and the remission or forgiveness of sins right and then he said you're going to be ued with power from on high that
is the power of the holy spirit it's that oil and remember he had already in John 20 and 21 he had already breathed on them and said receive the Holy Spirit but then he said you got to go to Jerusalem there's more and folks this is I'm going to tell you right now if you have not received the baptism of the holy spirit with the evence of speaking in other tongues as Acts 2 acts 10 Acts 19 1 Corinthians 12 and 14 talk about then you need to be seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit to overflowing can I just tell you right now even after that even after you're baptized in the holy spirit with the heav of speaking in other tongues there is always more I am never satisfied with old oil Psalm 92 David said I shall be Anointed with fresh oil somebody say fresh frh you can find it down there I can't remember which one it is verse 14 or something I think I don't know somewhere down there but my horn shal thou exalt like the horn a horn speaks of authority and power he said my horn shalt thou exalt like the Horn of a unicorn so you're going to give me more power and strength and I shall be Anointed with fresh oil somebody say fresh oil fresh oil now David here saying I shall be anointed well David had already been anointed Samuel Anointed with all the Holy Spirit came upon him what do you see d Avid praying for though throughout the Psalms oh Lord when he when he sent don't take your Holy Spirit from me oh I want to be he he knew he was praying to be Anointed with more oil somebody say I want more I want more I want more well then pour out some to somebody else and you'll get more you hear me you should be a preaching machine it's not just Pastor Dean's job my job as a pastor is to poke and poke you my my wife would tell you I'll talk to anybody I don't care we go to the grocery store and they start you know tapping my card now on that thing and I tell them I said next thing is your hand they go what and then I'll talking to him about the mark of the beast and Jesus I don't care I don't care what people think about me it's so free when you don't care you should care what Jesus thinks about you what God thinks about you not what people think about you if you get that way you will be the freest person in the
world I don't know why as human beings we're so terrified of people we don't know you know me and my wife we embarrass our teenager all the time she's gotten used to it though you know D me I dance in the grocery store play around we have a good time I don't care I really don't care because you know what I don't care if it's in the realm of the church world at home in the political realm whatever it may be wherever I may be what you see is what you get I'm singing stupid songs this morning people don't know how my wife said people just don't know how crazy and Goofy you are at home I sing all kind of goofy songs and dance around I'm I'm not a gloomy person even though I know what what's coming upon the world I mean the joy of the Lord is our strength but why am I why am I free why am I free I've gone through some bad stuff some of you have gone through some very difficult times in the last couple of years even recently but when you know you have the creator of the universe is your father your friend your Redeemer your strength your Shield your healer your deliverer that no matter what happens to you here he is with you and will never leave you or forsake you as long as you don't leave him I think God all the time do you thank God for your spouse some people don't have a spouse and and and and deal with loneliness do you thank God for what he's given you I'm just I I tell you what I'm just blessed I'm just like Lord I'm I can't believe you let me get through I mean even years ago when I went through some very difficult and dark times that he got me through that and I made it to the other side I was in the storm man I'm going to tell you woohoo I was in the storm for a good seven years and the Lord brought me out of it and I thank him all the time for that I look back you know I look back now going on we we're in the 38th year I am of Walking With Jesus some of you are not even that old and I look back at how many times he has been amazing even through difficult times I
was reading last night too I was reading the end of the book of Acts about about Paul's journey to Italy oh gosh I mean they were basically in a hurricane for 14 days did not see the stars or the moon or the Sun for 14 days the ship was coming apart they were having to throw everything overboard and Paul has to tell them an angel stood by me tonight nobody's going to die who is this crazy dude right here we're all going to die there I'm sure there's ah we're all going to die and then some were about to escape remember they were about to lower down the the little boat I guess the I don't know what you call that what yeah okay dingy whatever it is and Paul told him said told him said if they don't stay in the ship they're going to die and so they just dropped the boat and stayed in and then they finally ran the ship ground and so the bow is stuck in the sand and the back end is being broken apart and they're just having to jump out in the middle of a hurricane and go to Shore and the people receive them that was nice and they start Gathering up sticks and he picks Paul picks up a bunch of sticks and a snake comes out Viper and bites him on the I'm like man can't catch a break and he shakes it off and it falls in the fire and they were like H I guess this guy's a murderer cuz he can't he can't catch a break and then when they say his hand didn't swell and he didn't die they were like oh he's a God I guess but even on that island in the midst of all of that the storm and the Shipwreck and through the whole thing Paul is being a witness and a light to those people the people on the boat the people on the island and then he finally makes it to Italy because he appealed to Caesar so he's going to stand before Caesar at some point to testify of Jesus Christ but before that he is put in Caesar's household and starts leading everybody there to Jesus and then he calls the Jews together in that area and preaches the gospel to all of them and what I love that's what I everybody like looks at don't put Paul up on this pedestal he was a human being just like us his Focus was always
pouring out I'm going to I don't care what I'm going through I I don't care where I am I don't care if it's going to cost me my head and they did cut his head off cuz he was a Roman citizen they couldn't crucify him so they cut his head off but Paul you know what Paul Paul had 35 about approximately 35 years of ministry he was stoned he was beaten with rods he was whipped with a cat of nine tails and he's and he never quit pouring out into people pouring out into people he said he'd been hungry he'd been robbed can you imagine traveling the way he traveled back in those days and then he has this to say to Timothy God made me a pattern to all those who should Hereafter believe you say I can never do that let me tell you if you rise up with your little pot of oil and start pouring it out into people you never know what God may do you may be the beginning of a Revival where thousands of people gather to come see what you're pouring out to come get what you're pouring out you never know that's why you got to do it that's why you got to step out of the boat I remember this was there was a couple young couple they were engaged but they weren't married yet that I started taking out on the street when I was doing that in my gy this is back in 91 9091 92 and I started taking them out and one of the things they told me after we had been doing this for several months and they had been going out on the street witnessing and we went like we went into just some dangerous areas of the city and I mean we just went everywhere and they broke free of their fear and they broke free of that I'm keeping that that oil to myself thing and you know what happened to them they came and told me they said this has changed my life and that was around 9192 they end up the Browns V Revival starts in '95 both of them get married they go down and go through the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry for two years and then went to Japan to be missionaries and he told me it gave me the courage going out on the street with you changed my life and gave me the courage and made me realize I can pour out the people and he became a missionary just
by Breaking Free of that fear think about it he decided I'm going to go pour out where there's what 1% Christianity in Japan what is it Kelsey went to Japan less than half a percent of Japan is Christian so you going to pour out it's not even 12 y'all not even 12 how did this happen it's like some kind of Time Warp happened say Pastor Dean I can't I can't do that I I don't know the Bible like you let me tell you something I led people to Jesus when I was 19 and 20 and didn't know even a a third of what I know now it's not about how much Bible you know you just share what Jesus has done for you you just share the basics Jesus died on that cross for your sins and he's the only way to heaven he's the only way to eternal life he saved me I met him I encountered him he washed my sins away the Holy Spirit touched me and and bore witness of that you need Jesus you you need to be saved you need salvation you're a sinner all have sinned and come short of the glory of God you are to go preach repentance churches now don't even talk about repentance Jesus said go preach repentance for the remission of sins you got to tell people you got to stop the the the drunkenness you got to stop the adultery you got to stop the pornography you got to stop the cursing you got to stop the violence you got to stop the hatred and the racism you got stop all that confess it is sin what's what's the definition of repentance Jordan admit it and quit it admit it and quit it amen how simple is that confess it and forsake it is how the Bible says it but I like our version admit it and quit it that can be the 11th commandment admit it and quit it I'm I'm just I just marvel and you know that I get you know I said I was going to bring some testimonies and I forgot to to look them up but I will what what blows me away is that how many people contact me and they say I did not know how much trouble I was in how lost I was how deceived I was not even knowing that I had to turn from my sin
to be saved because the church world is taught just believe in Jesus and you know Americans think you know the West we think that just means mental Ascent yeah I believe and so that means I'm eternally secure and Jesus said if you don't repent you will perish in fact he says in in uh Matthew 11 he got angry at the three cities he said where he did most of his miracles and he was angry with them and rebuked them because they did not repent see this is another reason why you some of you ask why God doesn't do a lot of Miracles now Miracles are no there no there's no uh formula that says that Miracles are going to make people repent I like Miracles we need healing in our b sometimes we need Deliverance but I've seen people get healed miraculously healed by the power of Jesus Christ and not repent of their sins think about that I I mean I saw a dramatic miracle in a person's life and they continue to live in sin now I love Miracles I believe in miracles I believe Jesus still does Miracles and that he will answer through our faith we're going to have some testimonies at Skyfall of some healing miracles but all of that is a side issue if you hadn't repented of your sins if you haven't turned away if you haven't confessed them and left them somebody say confess them and leave them confessed them and left them see I'm not a drunkard anymore I'm I'm not a fornicator anymore I was I'm not now why why because not only did I ask Jesus to wash my sins away I turn from my sins to follow him and because of that he gives me the grace to not go back to that now I could go back if I wanted to because there's free will but I don't want to I I did all that stuff and you know what it brought death and darkness and depression don't want it and certainly there is nothing here not sex not drugs not anything else worth being separated from God forever nothing nothing nothing nothing so I don't understand these Christians that want to keep playing with these vices marijuana getting high all the time I don't care you say oh marijuana
God made that plant how do you know the Nephilim the Fallen Angels were teaching them how to manipulate plants that's right but here's the thing I know some people need to use it for pain and dealing with pain okay I understand I don't condemn anybody over that but there's a difference between pain management and Recreation and I you know there's a lot of people try to tell me what marijuana I know what it does I smoked it and I inhaled I wasn't like Clinton where he said he didn't inhale I inhaled I know what it makes you feel like high is not sober y'all understand and the Bible says be sober you want to be in a sound mind and I'm going to tell you when I used to drink and do drugs and all the stuff I was doing I was not in my right mind I would do things that I would not do if I was sober and it's just a fact so repentance says I'm done with that I'm going to live sober righteously Godly in this present time is't that what Grace teach put up one more scripture we're g to finish with this one I had to get us past 12 Titus Chapter 2 verse 11 I think is where it starts you want to hear about Grace let me give you a Grace scripture for the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men Grace is Grace a license to sin or is it the power from God to live a holy life listen what Grace teaches us now who's the teacher though Holy Spirit right that's why in Hebrews 10 he's called also called not just the spirit of truth but the spirit of Grace So Grace is the holy spirit do you think the holy spirit is going to allow you to just live in sin and wickedness and evil habitually no he's going to be talking to you to come out of it so he teaches the Holy Spirit the grace of God the spirit of Grace that brings salvation hath appeared to all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust we should live soberly righteously and godly in this present world looking for that blessed hope and the Glorious appearing of our great God
and our Our Savior Jesus Christ the grace of God teaches us to live soberly righteously and godly in this present World somebody say this present world you're to be different so they're to see it in you and then there're to hear it from you amen and if you keep pouring out that little pot of oil you got into all these other vessels that are around you that God is going he's not only going listen what did he do for the Widow he didn't just take care of the oil issue but that oil that they were able to go sell what did it do it was able to pay off the Creditor and now this is not about money you need to hear me because the Creditor was about to take her sons as bondmen Into Slavery to pay the debt to work off the debt of their father and what the Lord's going to bring into your life if you have the anointing in your life he is going to keep you and lead you into Freedom he's going to break that body that's why the Bible talks about the anointing destroys the Yoke of the enemy the bondage that's why you got to have the anointing so it can destroy the bondage of Satan in your life you hear me see people that keep pouring out and pouring out and obeying the Lord and they're pouring out God's like you know what since they're pouring out I'm going to give them what they need I'm going to give them more than what they need I'm going to deliver them from the enemy think about had she not done this the prophet said go get the vessels and pour out you know what she would have had she would have still had her little pot of oil but her sons would have been in slavery and everything she had would have been taken probably the pot of oil too see this is the problem remember the talents one had five one had two one had one the one that had five went out and obeyed and traded and increased bore fruit the other one that had two went out and did what they were supposed to do and bore two more the one that had the one wouldn't hit it he didn't do anything with it he hid what the lord gave him and when the Lord came back and saw he said you Wicked and slothful servant then he said take from him what he has and give it to him that has 10 talents
and cast the unprofitable servant into outer Darkness let me tell you something you just try to guard your little pot of oil and you don't want to pour out anybody else you don't want to do anything with it you're going to lose that you hear me one of the first things it says in Revelation 21 there 6 through 8 when it says about who's going into hell one of the thing it says the fearful and the unbelieving the fearful say I will not be fearful the fearful and the unbelieving the abominable murderers whoremongers Sorcerers and and idolators and all liars shall have their part in the lake that burn with fire and brimstone which is the second death fearful why do you think fearful is listed with whoremongers and idolators because it keeps you from doing what you're supposed to do in your walk with God it keeps you from developing a deeper relationship it keeps you from helping and loving others if you hide your little pot and you do nothing you do not love anyone around you that's why fear and love remember perfect love cast out fear well perfect love is loving the people around you who are lost who are backsliding who are prodigals do you love them enough to cast your fear aside and pour your oil into them the truth the gospel that's what this is about faith without works is dead being alone think about it oh Pastor Dean's preaching that work salvation oh no it's not work salvation it's relationship because if you have a relationship with the Lord and you're hearing him you will be doing what he tells you and it won't be he won't be telling you to hide your little pot of oil and do nothing see there's some people ready to bug out when the the Bine excrement hits the fan right you know what the Lord told me you're not running the drones and the robots will find you anyway they all got thermal you nobody hiding in the woods they will find you I can buy a drone right now that has thermal I can buy Scopes and binoculars that have thermal that I can see you a mile away in the bushes hiding down there I see you so there's not going to be any but the Lord told me years ago he said stand
your ground I will not he told me I will not suffer your foot to be moved you understand I'm Like Bugs Bunny remember when they tried to build a highway through Bugs Bunny's house he said I ain't moving and you can't make me move smarty pants bring your armies if it's my time it's my time I'll go down in a blaze of Glory but if it's not my time do you know that the Lord can take a whole he can take a whole Battalion division of soldiers and make them fight each other and kill each other and you just walk out in the lawn they're all dead he's done it before he's caused them to uh hold whole Army coming against his people to hear of bad news at their Homeland and they got to turn around and leave right or Elijah if I'm a man of God let Fire come down and consume your platoon what's funny to me is the guy who came with the second platoon I said I think we're going to see some of those things in these days ahead amen let's stand I want to do what was that hold on let me look up I want to do build my life again before we go what that faint no build my life let's Worship the Lord for a few minutes and and and and ask the Lord am I a person that pours out my little pot of oil or am I keeping it to myself and if so you say Lord forgive me for holding it in and being fearful I bind the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus I rebuke it and commanded to go from me I will I will be the light of the world I will not hide my candle under a bushel I will not do it especially in these last days God needs us to be a light amen all right [Music] worthy of every s we could ever
