lord that we can enter into the holy of holies by a new and living way which you have consecrated for us through the veil that is your flesh that when your flesh was torn and the blood flowed you made the way so that we could have the tangible real presence of god in our lives where we don't have to chant to become buddhists hindus muslims we don't have to incorporate pagan techniques to in experience the presence of our creator the mighty god we exalt you today we thank you for all of your grace for the cross of our lord jesus christ for his resurrection from the dead for the power of the holy spirit lord there's so much more you want to give us we thank you for your word and we ask you to anoint it today in jesus name amen and amen you may be seated uh well can i say that i believe the lord changed my message this morning for the second time so we're going to be on message number three i want you to go to the song of solomon uh just quickly the song of solomon chapter two we're gonna look at one verse before we get into this this morning because as we were in worship the lord kept speaking this verse to me and there must be a reason so i don't know that we'll ever get to that powerpoint back there at all but that's okay amen when the lord speaks to you something you just roll with it and even though i'm not trying to do a series i think it's going to build upon the last two weeks this was not my intention i wasn't trying to do one but anyway song of solomon don't preach out of this too much but there's a verse that stood out to me this week and the lord is just making it stand out again and i want you to look at verse 15. he says here in 15 says take us the foxes the little foxes that spoil the vines for our vines have tender grapes um i'm going to give you the definition here of the word take in the hebrew the definition of this word means to seize so let's let's look at it that way i think it gives us a little more understanding he's talking about little foxes that spoil the vines and what he was talking about of course was a vineyard and um i know this from just reading about it
but that planting a vineyard and taking care of a vineyard and and actually getting a vineyard to produce uh good grapes is not an easy thing to do it takes a lot of work a lot of diligence really like any garden really it takes a lot of work and a lot of diligence to keep the past out to keep the the varmints and animals out of it and to you know you to keep the ground tilled and to keep the weeds out and so so any type of gardening or or producing or planting a vineyard and taking care of a vineyard is not an easy thing to do it takes great diligence um but he says here he uses this terminology he says seize the the foxes and then he says the little foxes that spoil the vines because what what is the devil after are y'all still lost song of solomon 2 chapter 2 verse 15. did i never say it i thought i did chapter 2 verse 15. let's read it again take us or seize the foxes the little foxes that spoil the grant of the vines why for our vines have tender grapes so um kind of what i want to speak to you about today and just like we've been talking about the last couple of weeks but especially last week about samson is that it really sometimes it really is little things that can ruin all your fruit that can keep you from growing keep you from producing the fruit of the spirit keep you from being an effective witness keep you from operating in the power of god keep you from the fruit of repentance sometimes it's just little things i mean let's think about it before we turn to some some verses but let's just think about it sometimes we could think that god was being silly or he was being harsh but for instance you look at the at king saul for instance king saul's first sin was not waiting for samuel the prophet samuel had told saul you go over here with you get prepared for the battle you go over here but you wait for me i will come in a certain number of days i think it was seven days and this is in the book of first samuel it's like i'll come in in a set number of days you wait for me then when i come we'll we'll do the sacrifice because samuel was both a prophet and a priest so he could both hear from god give direction to the king and he could offer the sacrifices and so before they went into battle against the philistines against the enemies of god which would represent to us spiritual warfare before that there was a command wait wait until i get there wait until we
offer the sacrifice wait until there's a blood sacrifice and then we can go into the battle but saul got impatient all right now this is important now and all of this is in you can go first samuel chapter 13 every bit of this is there first samuel chapter 13 but he got impatience but in fact let's just turn there we might turn back to solomon in a minute but first samuel chapter 13. this is after of course first samuel 10 saul was anointed by samuel called and what's so sad about this is saul had only been king look at first samuel chapter 13 look at verse one it says saul reigned one year and when he had reigned two years over israel saul chose him out three thousand men of israel where of two thousand were with saul in mixmash and in the mount bethel and a thousand were with jonathan his son and gibeah a benjamin and the rest of the people and the rest of the man said to his tent so this is the the story of that and if you'll um let's drop down and if you look um oh well let's just read it um drop down let's see in verse four it says all israel heard say that saul had smitten the garrison of the philistines and that israel uh also uh was had an abomination with the philistines and the people were called together after saul to gilgal and the philistines gathered themselves together to fight with israel thirty thousand chariots six thousand horsemen and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude and they came up and pitched in mitch mash eastward from beth haven says when the men of israel saw that they were in a straight for the people were distressed then the people that hide themselves in caves and thickets and in the rocks and in the high places and in pits and some of the hebrews went over jordan to the land of of gad and to gilead as for saul he was yet in gilgal and all the people followed him trembling and said and he tarried seven days according to the set time that samuel had appointed but saul came not to gilgal and the people were scattered from him and saul said bring hither the burnt offering to me in a peace offering and he offered the burnt offering and it came to pass that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering behold samuel the prophet came and saul went out to meet him that he might salute him and samuel said
what hast thou done what hast thou done and saul said because i saw that the people were scattered from me and that thou came as not within the days appointed and that the philistines were gathered themselves together at mitch mash therefore said i the philistines will come down now upon me to gilgal and i have not made supplication unto the lord and i forced myself therefore and offered to burn offering now listen to this this is saul's first real transgression sin his first mistake as we like to call it now in 2013. we don't like to call them sins anymore our transgressions or disobedience or rebellion or stubbornness we like to call them mistakes anyway samuel said to saul you have done foolishly you have not kept the commandment of the lord thy god which he commanded thee for now would the lord have established thy kingdom upon israel forever but now thy kingdom shall not continue the lord has sought him a man after his own heart and the lord commanded him to be captain over this people because you have not kept that which the lord commanded commanded thee and samuel arose and got him up from gilgal and to gibeah of benjamin and saul numbered the people and so on now i'm not going to keep reading this of course they went into the battle and saul kind of ignored this and really the next screw-up you get from saul is when samuel gave him another command in chapter 15 to go kill all the amalekites who were very very wicked evil people and go eradicate them um the world they have problems with these scriptures but they're finding out that uh you don't negotiate you can't negotiate with evil you can't negotiate with a with a hitler there's some people that won't be listened to and you know you either let hitler kill everyone in europe and the world and take it over or somebody had to rise up and stop him so a lot of you know atheists and people that want to find things to criticize the bible criticize these old testament wars and passages but again they just don't understand god's judgment and god's righteousness and that certain evil will not quit there will there's certain evil that there will be no peace with and really that's what we're about to face with the rise of the antichrist the rise of islam the rise of satanism the rise of the illuminati the one world government the last persecution that we're about to face as christians worldwide and and that the jews are about to face this is this is surmounting evil that will not stop and jesus made the statement in matthew 24 that unless those days were shortened by his coming that no flesh would be saved i mean no one would survive now you think about that for a second
so jesus is going to have to come back physically to the earth the second time to stop the evil that we're going to face in these last days somebody has to stop evil and back then god was using the israelites to stop evil people from continuing their evil okay so just so you understand that but one thing over in chapter 15 i want to go over there i mean first before we look at chapter 15 though isn't it amazing that right after saul blows it the first time samuel the prophet says you're done i would have established the lord said i would have established your kingdom forever well thank god that because of the sacrifice of jesus god almighty in the flesh on the cross there is greater grace and mercy for us now but our problem in the church world and even within the church world that understands that even under the new covenant you know even under grace that we're supposed to fear god respect god obey god and not take sin lightly the problem is that we do take it lightly and not just sin i'm not just talking about overt sins like like adultery or fornication and i've talked about those things or drunkenness but see what we don't realize is the little foxes the little things the little attitudes the little disobediences when god has told you something or god has spoken to you something through your pastor or through a prophet and you knew it was the word of the lord and you just decide to do the opposite and it can be on something very little and then you wonder why you're having problems listen i don't know about y'all but there's been times in my life that god told me to do something and i didn't want to do it and i delayed in doing it and i got myself in big big trouble with him and it didn't have anything to do with drinking or drugs or or sexual sin or anything else it was just a quiet little fox of rebellion in my heart because i you know i had a little fear of man i know y'all probably can't believe that there's been a few times that god sent me places to give a prophetic word from him that i didn't want to do it i stood up in first baptist church one time on a sunday evening when it was full of people and gave a word of prophecy first baptist church oppalaika in 1989 that was a difficult thing to do and if you don't believe me just try it sometime
okay i remember there was a time when the lord told me to stand up at pine grove united methodist church out in casita beulah area and i did not want to do it and boy let me tell you something god had a particular sunday that he wanted me to do it and i didn't do it can i tell you that my prayer life dried up like a sponge out of water in the middle of the desert god backed away from me he wouldn't talk to me i didn't feel his presence he wouldn't answer my prayers it was like i was all alone and i could feel he was not pleased and let me tell you there was a certain few situations where i couldn't even go to church there for the next two weeks so my disobedience on that particular sunday delayed the process for nearly a month of misery well let me give you a little backup i i repented i asked god to forgive me for my disobedience my rebellion my little bit of fear of man that i had or my concerns uh he wasn't real concerned about the fact that there really wasn't an opening in that dead methodist service to give a word of prophecy he wanted me to press through and obey simple command right so i asked god to forgive me and he forgave me what's so funny is the sunday did we had a meeting on mondays with the young adult group and uh it just so happened that the guy who led the young adult group as we got in there asked me to share the word that and you know that i couldn't and in front of all those people i had to admit that i could not speak god would not allow me to speak because i have not done something he had told me to do so i got embarrassed because i mean some some some preachers and some people will plow on even when they don't have a word or god is angry or upset about something uh but i've learned it's not not good to pretend right so anyway i obey god but here's what's beautiful i asked god to forgive me i repented i said lord i will do it kind of like jonah you get in the belly of the fish for a little while your mind gets changed about some things right god can put you in the belly of the fish and sometimes it's just misery depression dryness in your prayer life dryness in your you know you can't worship you can't pray you can't read you're irritable nothing's working money problems health problems you know just trying to get you
in the belly of the fish so you'll do what he told you to do right and so you know it's amazing you get in the belly of the fish and your whole attitude well god i'll go do it i'll go to the i'll go right so i went here's what's so powerful i went and boy after that whipping i got for the three four weeks after that the weapon i got from god i was going to speak i don't care if i had to stop the whole service man so the servants got to the end they were going to do their little one song and everybody's out of there at noon and i stopped the whole thing and gave my word now here's what's interesting 20 years later i found out that nearly everything i said was true in that church even homosexuality in the in in the pews even a child molester in the pews all right but here's the thing the next day that was on a sunday the next day my prayer life was awesome and i got together with a bunch of a bunch of people uh some of my old friends and that i'd led to the lord we got together and had a prayer meeting and went out to village mall here in auburn and the power of god fell and we had teenagers we went out witnessing and preaching the gospel in the mall and the power of god fell and we had nine teenagers sitting on the ground on the sidewalk in front of in the front door village mall as people are walking in and out sitting on the ground crying their eyeballs out and getting saved and the lord showed me i can turn the the faucet on and boy i can turn it off all right so obey because guess what it's the little foxes that spoil the vine now first samuel 15 he told him to go as i mentioned kill get rid do with all the amalekites and of course we know you know the story he didn't obey and of course when samuel showed up he uh let's go over to verse oh let's see oh let's just go over to verse 20. and they're having a discussion and he's asking he'd ask him why he had no bait and saul said to samuel gay i have obeyed the voice of the lord and have gone the way which the lord sent me and have brought agag the king of amalek and have utterly destroyed the amalekites but the people took the spoil the ox and the chief of things which should have been utterly destroyed to sacrifice unto the lord and samuel said hath the lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the lord behold to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams for rebellion listen to me
rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry and because you have rejected the word of the lord he has also rejected you from being king some pretty serious stuff here right i want to show you something else go with me go back to go to first kings first kings chapter 13. i want to read another little story to you that just won't leave my mind as you're turning to there i just first kings chapter 13. some of you may be thinking and the devil may be trying to put this thing in here now that now pastor gene it's old testament can i just say something about that has god changed i'm going to tell you something there's a lot of christians that believe that god changed after and that in the new covenant that he changed that his core principles and here's what's even scarier there are people within christianity who have begun to believe the gnostic view of christianity that started back in the first and second centuries that the era that the god of the old testament and jesus the god of the new testament are two different gods oh i've been told this by people who say they are christians say they believe in jesus say they're born again say they are christians but that that god in the old testament is not the god of the new testament and why because they in their feeble brains and their false idea of love and faults and in wrong ideas about judgment and justice can't can't put the two together that god is both a god of love and mercy and a god of wrath and judgment and they can't accept that he's both and they can't accept what must be done to avoid the wrath and judgment so that's why they're also turning these people or turning into universalists or universal salvation christians okay believe me when it talks about many falling away from the faith this is what happened but god has not changed jehovah of the old testament is jesus christ of nazareth what did jesus say john 14 he said to philip you've seen me you've seen the father right
he talked about that what the things that both in psalms and in the prophets right in the law that were spoken of me see all of that jesus came from and jesus is right but rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft these little foxes little rebellion or we talked about last week i know some of you weren't here but last week sampson seemed like a foolish thing a silly thing didn't it his hair being cut he lose his anointing and his his gift what he was called to do and have his eyes put out and be bound in shackles and be be become a captive to the philistines and mocked and ridiculed a once great man of god called anointed with power from god to do a great thing to bring deliverance to israel and god just says don't cut your hair don't eat or drink of the vine don't touch dead things you're supposed to be sanctity seems like little things and he violates these things and he loses his anointing and he loses his gift and he loses his calling and he loses his place and he you know thank god remember last week the good news was that he cried out to god and his hair grew back and he cried out to god for mercy and for one more time and god i believe restored samson i believe we'll see samson in heaven but we should learn a lesson that the little foxes spoil the vines the little things can take down a great man or woman of god little disobedience is here and there little disregard for the word of god little disregard for a prophetic word or some instruction or some correction from your from your elders or your pastors or a prophet something whenever god speaks and know he'll speak different ways he'll speak directly to you he'll speak through the word he'll speak through somebody else but when god speaks and gives you a truth and you take it and maybe you take it for a while and obey but then the devil gets in your head and makes you think well that's no big deal every the you know there's the old saying the journey of a thousand miles oh it begins with one step and this is what is so disturbing because i can't seem to get this across and most new testament most people now most christians now don't even want to hear that you can get off that you can fall away no i'm eternally secure brother no matter what really
no matter what what if you take the mark of the beast are you still eternally secure see here's the thing y'all y'all think i'm making up stuff but so one simple little thing we know y'all been taught y'all know the mark of the beast is coming it's going to be a real mark implanted thing but it's going to come along with a pledge of allegiance to the antichrist to the beast to the world government to the leader and that's all it's going to be and how many people are going to justify christians are going to justify that's not that big a deal i don't mean anything by it it's just like the pledge of allegiance that we had for the united states of america when it was still around now the pledge of allegiance was a little different why he said i pledge allegiance what to one nation under god you take out the under god and guess what we shouldn't pledge allegiance to it under god the world government's going to be a rejection the antichrist is a rejection of the god of the bible a rejection of the jesus christ of the bible they'll have their own jesus but not the jesus christ of the bible but do you hear me this is going to be you cannot buy or sell unless you take this well i got to have power in my house and god knows i got to be able to buy groceries for my children god knows he knows my heart boy i tell you i'm so sick of hearing that god knows my heart while they're taking the mark see it's no different than oh god knows my heart while i'm sleeping with another man's wife god knows my heart while i'm getting drunk on the weekends god knows my heart god knows my heart all these excuses yeah god knows your heart the issue is not whether he knows your heart or not this is how does he feel about it now if you think that this is not a new testament principle about the little foxes i want to just hold your spot in first kings 13 i want to show you this go to first corinthians 5. first corinthians i want to show you the new testament says it the same thing but just in a different way but it's almost the exact same thing first corinthians chapter five everybody ought to be familiar with this this is when there was all this sin going on in the church and there was a man in the
church that was committing uh fornication with his stepmother and wouldn't repent was being stubborn was being rebellious was being uh he wouldn't listen to his elders he wouldn't listen to paul he wouldn't listen to anybody can you imagine not even listening to the apostle paul i mean he the apostle paul had hard-headed stubborn folks right who were christians all right now look at this verse one it's reported commonly that there is fornication among you and such fornication is not such is even named among the gentiles that one should have his father's wife so he's saying even that there's even gentiles unsaved people that are more moral than this right he said you are puffed up that means in pride and have not rather mourned that he that had done this deed might be taken away from you for verily as absent in body but present in spirit i have judged already oh but we're not supposed to judge paul said i have judged already as though i were present concerning him that has done this deed in the name of our lord jesus christ when you are gathered together and my spirit with the power of the lord jesus to deliver such and one to satan for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be maybe may be saved in the day of our lord jesus and then he tells them your glory or your celebrating while all this mess is going on your glory is not good and look what he says know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump this is the principle we gotta get it's the leaven is yeast and what he's saying here it only takes a little bit of leaven or yeast in a big bowl of dough to to once you let it sit there long enough that yeast permeates that entire ball of dough and in comparison between the size of the lump of dough and the amount of yeast you put in is very very small but the process of corruption always starts with something small a little leaven leavens the whole lump what's interesting is 11 and i've taught this to you guys before but in the new testament leaven is looked at as sin compromise false teaching bad attitudes all of the above i mean i was reading this this week and i'm just going oh man the little foxes i know pastor dean said this but i know pastor dean warned me of this
but i know the bible says this but the greatest problems in churches usually start with just a little bit just a little seed just a little leaven of either rebellion or carelessness just a little bit just a little bit boy he says look at that you're glorying look at verse six your glory is not good no ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump and then he tells them what to do purge out therefore the old leaven that you may be a new lump even as you're unleavened for even christ our passover is sacrificed for us and what's interesting is i see this i mean think about it let's let's just say you got you got some you got a big lump of dough there and and you're about to mix in the yeast and you pour it on top so you pour it on time and you're getting ready to mix it and go no get that out you realize i gotta get that out well you can just cut that you know cut around get that out quick but if you keep on oh let's leave it in there i know the word says this but i you know it'd be all right love loving bread never hurt anybody look at how many people are you know god understands my heart let me mix it on we'll keep mixing it leave it there and before you know it this little thing that you thought wasn't a big deal is a big big big big monster in your life right i have watched over 25 years of pastoring people leading people to the lord trying to disciple people i have watched little things destroy them little little compromises little foxes until the vines are spoiled and there is no fruit i mean some of them now won't even repent anymore i don't hear that listen the first fruit we all have to bear is repentance john the baptist called it a fruit not a work right repentance turning from sin turning from our rebellion well guess what it's not enough it's not enough to just stop some sin maybe what about what god's told you to do if he's told you to do something
some of the greatest areas where we miss god has to do where god tells us to do something maybe in our marriage or with a relationship with the opposite sex or maybe with our kids or our money usually comes down to those things little areas i mean i know people that know for instance secular music whether it be hip-hop or country or uh rock and roll or whatever they they know it's full of anti-god anti-moral gods morality and even some of it most of it's filled with satanism and blatant occultic themes and people who are deeply involved yet people will listen to that mess that spiritual preaching and teaching through music for hours upon hours upon hours and then wonder why they're having spiritual mental and emotional problems and it's something simple and then you try to tell them you're listening to music that has the spirit of satan on it that has you know even if it's country talking about cheating on my wife cheating on you know my husband and you wonder why you're struggling with temptation and you feel your heart and mind with that country mess about drinking beer and and chasing it with whiskey and you're wondering why you're struggling i mean i can be flipping through the stations to try to find some news on the radio and hear one of those old songs from acdc or def leppard or whoever van halen and those people and can feel the spirit coming off of it the demonic force coming off in just a few seconds especially some of them are worse than others zeppelin ac dc and you know what's so bad these guys are still around after 30 something years go away already we were at christmas time at christmas at hastings trying to find a book for the granddaughter and they're cranking acdc's new songs i'm about to train rock and roll train or something cranking in the store i'm like how about some christmas music now we were in there for a while just ac dc and i'm like and i picked up one where were we i picked up this is another time right after that we were in sam's i got the ac dc's new album out and it's got angus young with the with a hat on with devil horns on it with his hands up doing like this and i said you
think they might be into the devil but there's christians oh it won't hurt me it won't hurt no big deal it's just music let me tell you i see a person that takes in a steady a steady diet of that kind of stuff and i show you a christian who's not living for the lord i'll show you a christian struggling with lust struggling with anger struggling with not going to church not reading his bible i'll show you i promise you why because i know a little leaven eleven's a whole lot the little foxes spoil the vines well you don't have to be that fanatical you don't have to be that much of a holy roller oh really let me let me show you verse second corinthians chapter six i love y'all lord lord you know there's only so many people who can take this kind of preaching so y'all are special folks still hard-headed sometimes but still special you know there's different meanings to special [Laughter] some are you know challenged oh we're going to grow up past this teenage spiritual level second corinthians chapter six let's look at what it says here well we don't have to be that holy we don't have to be that separate from the world we don't have to be that diligent to watch what's what's in our lives in our house in our car or what we're listening to what we're feeding on what we're thinking about we don't we don't have to be that radical do we no you don't have to it's just where do you want to be where do you want to be in six months where you want to be in a year where you want to be in the last days we're living in where do you want to where do you want to find yourself verse 14 chapter 6 verse 14 and second corinthians he says be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship has righteousness
with unrighteousness and what communion has light with darkness and what concord has christ with belial and what part has he that believeth with an infidel and what agreement has the temple of god with idols for ye are the temple of the living god as god has said i will dwell in them and i will walk in them and i will be their god and they shall be my people there's no greater promise than that right there i will be listen to that i will god has said i will dwell in them i will dwell in them and walk in them and i will be their god and they shall be my people wherefore or for that reason if you want god in you and walking with you and being with you wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate sayeth the lord and look at this touch not the unclean thing and i will receive you and i will be a father unto you and you shall be my sons and daughters saith the lord almighty having therefore these promises dearly beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all all all well all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of god no pastor we don't have to be that diligent or that holy or that obedient turn to ephesians 5. no no we don't have to that's old testament you're reading about saul king saul that's old testament we don't have to be like that's grace it's grace man don't you get grace we're free you're trying to put us under bondage you're trying to put us under legalism and religion you got a spirit of religion brother if i hear that from one more person i might have to backslide for just one second a religious spirit really do you even know what that is i don't think most people know what it is they just like throwing it out there you know i'm checking up on doing research getting ready for the conference and i'm studying some of these charismatic pentecostal freaks that are trying to hijack the movement that i knows of god and have hijacked most of it and i'm looking at some of these freaks talking about the third heaven and visiting the third heaven whenever they want to and astral projecting and chanting like buddhist monks and i'm sitting here going and i'm the one with the religious spirit you're the buddhist you're the astral projecting freak and i'm the one with the religious spirit no you've got the spirit of false christianity the spirit of buddhism the spirit of hinduism the kundalini you've got all kind of stuff going on and i'm the one with the religious spirit because i say touch not the unclean
thing come out from among them and be separate purge out the old leaven don't compromise with pagan rituals don't use vain repetitions in prayer just because jesus said not to do it i think that's good enough for me should be good enough for christians don't be worshiping the sun practicing yoga in church building my god no i'm sorry i just don't think christians are supposed to do 12 different bowels to the sun i don't mind singing roman catholicism as a false religion when they say mary is a co-redeemer that you've got to go through mary to get to jesus that you can pray to the dead that if you don't baptize infants they're on the way to hell that you can bow before statues i mean but i'm religious because i say no that's idolatry that's false religion that's deception that's error come out from among them and be separate ephesians 5. we don't have to be that radical we don't have to be that holy we don't have to be that diligent to obey we don't have to god understands he knows my heart here we go chapter 5 verse 1 be therefore followers of god as dear children and walk in love as christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to god for sweet smelling savor but fornication let's just listen stay looking at these verses but fornication which is the word pornia which means all sexual immorality and also spiritual idolatry fornication is a wide encompassing word but fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness well if this verse part of this verse is not underlined in your bible it ought to be let it not be once named among you as becometh saints and then he doesn't stop neither filthiness oh here's one for christians nor foolish talking nor jestings joking around certain joking around is definitely improper and we know what he's talking about which are not convenient but rather the giving of thanks and then he says this for you for this you know now now remember this is the book that says for by grace are you saved through faith in chapter 2 verse 8 9 right yet in chapter 5 he makes this statement
let well for this you know that no whoremonger nor unclean person nor covetous man that's just a man's got a problem with greed or an idolater who bows down to mary hath any inheritance in the kingdom of christ and of god let no one no man deceive you with vain words meaning anything that tells you that you can live in these sins or that you can practice these sins or that you have to as a christian oh you have to sin every day we sin every day really no you don't have to yeah that's a good question for if you couldn't hear that's what about the forfeit of eternal rewards the problem is is when it says no inheritance none right well let me ask you this if i'm a big rich guy and i've got a land and property and cars and mansions and you know nice country home and the house on the beach and and you're my child and you're supposed to inherit it all and i say you're not getting any of it nothing zero that means not even a shack on the back forty that means nothing means nothing and then he says these words to add it on with this right here to answer your question he says verse 6 for because of these things cometh the wrath of god upon the children of disobedience because he's that's who he's talking to he started out talking to brethren so the wrath of god now hold on a second now if we make it in the kingdom of god and have inheritance in the kingdom of god and we're there is there any wrath going to be poured out upon us no no if you make it in you're not appointed unto wrath if you have any inheritance i agree there's going to be levels of rewards for those that do make it into heaven we're not all going to be rewarded with the same thing the bible does teach that i agree with that but you know rewards uh i'm frankly and this is funny because i've heard some peach even recently i've heard some teaching on rewards and um i don't care y'all hear me i don't care how many crowns i have if they're jewels in that crown or i don't care because what i read anyway is whatever you get

i remember i i had a couple sit down with me before they got married to do marital counseling and both of them tell me that that they believed that it was okay to watch nudity in movies sexual immoral movies with naked people in and i'm sitting here going have you not listened to a thing that i've said in the last six months do you even care what the scriptures say it's not okay they sat there and justified it and guess what go on again i could just go down the list one after the other after the other simple scripture simple scriptures about that about compromise facilitating compromise in others i'm gonna shut up y'all know what i'm saying if you go away from this just remember something little foxes spoil the vines a little leaven leavens the whole lot there are things the devil will try to tell you are insignificant how many of you know what the mo who knows what the most and you can't answer because we talked about this other night how many of you know what the most poisonous thing on the planet is natural poisonous creature on the planet [Music] nope no i eat apple seeds they don't hurt you no no it's a little beautiful colorful tiny little tree frog from the amazon rainforest that skin secretes a highly toxic poison that if you touch that frog you die what that's how potent and powerful the poison is it you just touch it
and you die the natives would take darts little blow darts and they would just rub them on the backs of those little tree frogs and kill animals with them that's how they would hunt but you can look look them up they're beautiful they're like the colors of rainbows yeah that's it and listen to me see we think the deceptions that are out there and the deceptions that are coming are going to be these huge obvious things do you know that the antichrist will stand up and talk about jesus and even quote the bible and it'll be things like this they'll say and they are saying now and they will say jesus was a great teacher he was a great prophet he was a christ yes but so are you so am i was a great teacher but now we have evolved we have more understanding now we are moving into a new realm the christians have corrupted the teachings of christianity jesus never said he was the only way or he was the messiah or he was god or oh it's and it's okay hey if you want to follow the teachings of jesus that's great but as long as you don't tell me islam and buddhism and hinduism and shinduism and taoism as long as you don't tell me that those are wrong or my new age christ consciousness that i now have through meditation as long as you're cool with cool with it then we're cool with you and so many christians are going to go you know well you know i say there's truth in all religions we should just try to learn from every religion and if that works for you that's good don't be saying though you can't say that your religion's the only right way come on you you you come on really come on let's unite let's be at peace with one another have we had enough wars because of religion can't we just get along and don't don't don't don't tell me jesus is the lord god almighty the only way to heaven i can't accept that
but see here's the thing it's a simple departure oh i'm a follower of jesus you're a follower of buddha that's cool what's the devil trying to kill the truth true evangelism true salvation the evil that's coming is going to be shrouded in all kind of talk of love and peace and goodwill and brotherhood and all those things at times you're going to think am i being mean because they're going to make you sound like you're horrible all right a little leaven one little error can change everything let's pray heavenly father we thank you so much for your word today lord alert us in our lives as we seek you as we walk with you as we pray as we fast as we read as we worship as we seek to be established in the truth of of the bible and of true christianity and intimacy with you lord as we seek all those things lord help us to recognize see and discern the little foxes that come and try to spoil the vine that try to rob us of bearing fruit let us see the little leaven that leavens the whole lump let us see where sin and compromise and corruption begins before it matures into something that destroys us help us recognize pride rebellion envy greed help us recognize when something is demonic even if it looks like an angel of light father i pray this i pray for discernment and diligence to be in my brothers and sisters that's in jesus name we pray amen hallelujah
