I want you to take your Bible this morning first of all and let's just turn to the Gospel of John chapter 8. this just this particular passage here just seems to never leave me because there's so much foolishness going on in the church world um and if we don't get some things down we're going to be deceived and if we don't get them down and preach them to others they're going to be deceived because the deceivers now are everywhere and I was just thinking as we were in worship there a minute ago I don't believe I have one of my grace abuse books back there do I I've got the other one I was just thinking about what I wrote in that book in 1997 and really I I started writing it much earlier than that but that's when I really got serious and wrote started writing the book Grace abuse but in the introduction to that book I talked about and I think it was I was quoting a guy uh I can't remember now what his name was but that's why I need it but anyway he was talking about the history of the church and he was talking about back in the 1700s in America in the pre-revolutionary war period during the time of Jonathan Edwards and others that the young people of that time period had taken Calvinism the doctrines that the church was preaching that basically some are chosen some are not there's nothing you can do there's no responsibility of man um and if you're a Believer if you're a Christian or you claim to be a Christian you're eternally secure no matter what because you there's nothing you can do period there's nothing you can do to get saved Stay Saved or or be saved it's just all God and and you really won't know anyway until the end and what he pointed out was was that the young people or the younger generation took that false teaching to its logical end and that was well if I'm a believer in Jesus and I acknowledge Jesus and there's nothing I can ever do to lose that then why not live however I want to live I mean who wouldn't if you believe you actually believe that it doesn't matter how Wicked you are or rebellious or disobedient to God's word or how much sexual immorality it doesn't matter because you believe in Jesus you're eternally secure no matter how you live once saved always saved as they call it or unconditional internal security or in
Calvinism perseverance if you believe that why would you fear God why would you fear living in sin why would you fear going to heaven enough to fear God and make you change your ways why why live holy why resist the flesh why not in just indulge and enjoy everything you want to enjoy because hey you're going to heaven anyway this is why I have stated for nearly 30 years now that not this doctrine of once saved always saved or unconditionally experience it's not just a disagreement within the church it's not just a theological debate it's not just one of those things that you can just believe and go well we'll agree to disagree the next person that says that to me might just get yelled at I'm not agreeing with anybody to disagree I just disagree I'm not agreeing with you both of us can't be right if we're on the opposite sides of an issue don't tell me let's agree to disagree no I disagree with you Just Disagree I can't claim that when that was Jace Robertson but I love that I'm not agreeing that this to disagree I just disagree but see this doctrine of once saved always saved or unconditional internal security or if I believe in Jesus it doesn't matter what I do I'm secure I'm eternally secure no matter what this is either the truth of the Bible or it's not it's either the true doctrine of of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and scripture or it's the doctrine of demons it can't be let's just get along you understand and let me just say this as we get into this today because you're going to see what I'm talking about I warned about this I warned in that book in 1997 I said this Doctrine will be the result or be part of the foundational issues of the great Falling Away in the end time of the Church of Christians the apostasy because everything listen to me everything that you truly believe in your heart you will act upon whether it be truth or a lie whether it be positive or negative if you believe it and you speak it and that's what is is your core Foundation you will eventually act upon it you can't help but do it you will become what you believe
oh you will do what you believe what comes out of your mouth you will eventually act upon what you consistently put before your eyes and put in your mind in your heart you will act upon that's how we're made that's why this is so critical see Pastor Dean what are you talking about this morning well somebody tagged me in an article a few days back for Christmas about rich Wilkerson juniors anybody know who Rich Wilkerson Jr is in here does anybody remember Rich Wilkers and his father I do let me just tell you a little bit about Rich Wilkerson senior his father I remember from 25 30 years ago he used to be on Christian TV he he was not really a real famous preacher but he was pretty well known he was really about the gospel he was really about preaching Jesus in Repentance and discipleship and he had a real push for people to become true Disciples of Jesus to truly follow Jesus now let me just say this I don't know everything he believed back then I just remember seeing him hearing him once in a while thinking you know this guy sounds pretty pretty solid I can't vouch for what he became I can't I don't know where he is to this day but I know and I know he used to have a relationship and I think he's even related as a cousin or a nephew or something of David Wilkerson I can't remember their relation but I know he knew David Wilkes and I know that he I they work together on things so what I'm getting at is Rich Wilkerson senior at one point I mean back 25 30 years ago seemed to be a Godly man a true minister of the Gospel walking in the truth preaching the truth and yet his son now it's a complete heritage his son now has a big church in Miami called vo or Boo or whatever I guess Vu Church that's French by the way for you you church it's about you know and it's about Jesus anything about you ridiculous but now I found out because of course I got tagged in this I didn't even know I didn't even know there was a rich Junior right a lot of years go by he didn't grow up and become devils don't grow up and become devils
false teachers false prophets it's sad but this is where we are but anyway the reason this guy is in the news is because he's become big buddies over the last few years with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber and now starting this in the first part of December he's got a new reality TV show on oxygen called Rich and faith yeah and what's sad is oh he he also um collaborates on album covers and the whole tour that Kanye West went on this Jesus tour this Blasphemous tour that he did about this Jesus Persona in which Kanye West has a song on the album titled I am I am God or I am a god now put it I sent you the picture let's put up the album cover of Kanye West his buddy collaborator now it says that rich Wilkerson Jr helped collaborated with Kanye on this album cover and on some of the lyrics and some of the stage performance of this tour that blasphemes Jesus now I want to show y'all some things here if there wasn't anything else on this album but this right here that is an upside down cross all satan is used upside down crosses in their ceremony and usually they take a cross that ceramic or some other type and they take it in their initiation ceremonies and they take the cross and they hold it upside down and they break it down like that which is where you get the peace symbol from it's the upside down cross broken with a circle around the peace symbol is a satanic Antichrist symbol okay but I don't know if you can see that these around him or Sirens or whatever they are their eyes are red showing that they're demonic entities or fallen angels and this one over here not only has red eyes but has a serpent tongue there could not be a more satanic demonic devil worshiping blasphemy of Jesus Christ than what Kanye West is doing through this Jesus Persona he's put on

yeah yeah Rich whoops and Junior's buddies with Carl Lentz the Hillsong New York Church oh and he makes statements Rich Junior sounds just like him we're not going to talk about homosexuality in our church we're not talking we're not going to talk about what what you can't do we're not going to talk about hell and we're not going to talk about what might lead you to hell we're just going to talk about good things and and the promo for the show he's out on the street you know giving food to homeless people and so the this guy comes on this post and starts debating that he's a Christian and we shouldn't judge him because he's out feeding the homeless and I I had to tell him I said I'm sorry but you can feed every homeless person in America doesn't mean that you're going to go to heaven when you die there is a new gospel listen to me there is a new gospel being preached by people who claim to be Christians and even second third generation preachers kids pastors kids that use that were brought up right but the new gospel now says all you have to do is name the name of Jesus and most of them were taught once saved always saved but all you've got to do is name the name of Jesus and you're going to heaven it doesn't matter if you're a homosexual it doesn't matter if you're a fornicator it doesn't matter if you are an adulterer it doesn't matter if you're a liar it doesn't matter if you're a thief it doesn't matter what you do because your sins are covered past present future now that's coming from Charles Stanley said that I got his quote from his book can you be sure so Charles Stanley was preaching that stuff 20 years ago 30 years ago it's been entrenched in the Presbyterian church and the Baptist church and then it spread to the Methodist churches and then it spread to the charismatic and Pentecostal churches because a lot of the Baptists and the methodists and and the Presbyterians left their churches they ended up going to Pentecostal churches and now they've contaminated them with their false teaching and now the false teachings the leaven has spread and the whole thing has lifted and there's few churches pastors Ministers of the Gospel anymore that will stand In a Pulpit in the church with any kind of size and preach the truth we have a gospel that says name the name of Jesus and if you feed the poor or give to to you know some charity or help some charity you're a good person and you're going to heaven doesn't matter if you're an adulterer doesn't matter if you're homosexual doesn't matter what you are you want to be a homo be homo go feed the poor you're going ahead what Pope says what Rich Wilkinson JR says who Bono yeah Oprah what's so amazing is these people claim to be Christians can I just tell you something what do you think makes you a Christian faith in what

then we should just stop right there right come on now don't shout me down I'm a little quiet in here we are Pentecostals right then sent Jesus to the Jews which believed on him the word for saving faith can I say this believing saving faith is only a beginning and that's why Jesus continued he said to the Jews that believed on him that means they were to the Jews that believed he was the Messiah God In the Flesh who would atone for our sin the promised one they believed on him he said if you continue in my word then you are my disciples indeed don't tell me you believe in Jesus that's great that's a good start that's the that's the starting line of the race well what I want you to do and what the Bible tells you to do is to finish the race to continue in the race to continue in the word of God and in the truth of the word of God otherwise if you do not if you believe in him but you do not continue in the word you will not know the truth and you will not be a true disciple you will be a phony counterfeit Christian deceiving yourself and others we got a bunch of phony counterfeit Christians I called this this morning heretic preachers and phony Christians hey how many people say they're I mean my Lord we got people still believing Obama's a Christian and I'm talking about we have Christians in churches still believing that Obama is really a Christian just because he said I'm a Christian doesn't matter how many times he blasphemes Jesus the gospel won't help persecuted Christians but will help Muslims declares that the most beautiful sound he's ever heard is the call to Muslim prayer and on and on and on and on why are we so stupid why do we why do we believe people when their actions say completely the offices
why I don't understand if you continue now folks I've said this many times but the scriptures the word of God is Genesis to Malachi and Matthew through Revelation right Paul said in second Timothy 3 all scripture is given by inspiration of God and it's profitable or doctrine for reproof or correction or instruction the Greek terminology there means all scripture is God breathed through to a man who wrote it down whether it was King David or King Solomon or the prophet Isaiah or Zechariah or Luke or Matthew or John or Peter or Mark and I'm just going to tell you right now what you believe about the scriptures and what you believe in the scriptures determines whether you're a Christian or not there's a big push right now it doesn't matter what you believe Doctrine is not important but I'm going to tell you right now that if you do not believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God In the Flesh and you don't believe that only his blood can wash away sin if you don't believe he died on the cross for all mankind if you don't believe he rose from the dead on the third day if you don't believe this book is the inspired infallible inerrant word of God if you don't believe that Jesus is coming back physically to this earth to set up his kingdom if you don't believe that if you continue in habitual sin you will die in your sins and go to hell if you don't believe hell is real and eternal you are not a Christian you might be a new Ager you might be a Universalist but you are not a Christian what do you believe about this book determines what you are then believing it it's just the first step do you obey it do you act upon it do you live it out last week we were in Hebrews 5. I want you to turn to Hebrews 6. I didn't really even plan this this way like my wife can tell you last night I said I have no clue what I'm preaching on tonight but this kind is a continuation of last week because in Hebrews 5 I pointed out the the passage there in verse 11 and 12. when he verse 12 particularly for winning since for when the time you ought to be teachers you need one to teach you again which would be the first principles of the doctrines of Christ you are those
who have become need in need of milk and not strong meat but he goes on to say here are the foundational principles of the foundational doctrines of Christianity now listen to this Hebrews chapter 6 verse 1 therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ let us go on to Perfection or maturity not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and a faith toward God and of the doctrine of baptisms and of laying on of hands and of the resurrection of the dead and of Eternal judgment or Eternal damnation and this we will do if God permit for it is impossible for those who are once enlightened have tasted of the heavens and gift were made partakers of the Holy Ghost have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come if they shall fall away to renew them again to repentance seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame now let me just break this down for you isn't it interesting as he goes into talking about those people falling away and those people crucifying the Son of God are fresh putting Jesus to an open shame like Rich Wilkerson Jr associating with this Satanist and blaspheming Jesus and the upside down cross and everything else he's putting Jesus to an open shame why because he's fallen away well he's fallen away from what the Bible tells you he's falling away from these foundational basic principles of the doctrines of Christ who Jesus is the first thing is the doctrine of Christ Christ is God in the flesh Christ is the only way to heaven Christ is the only sacrifice for sin Christ is the only way the only truth the only life Christ and then he tells us we're no we shouldn't have to he's telling he's telling ministers like me we shouldn't have to lay the foundations of these principles again and again and again and again you should get them but notice what he says let us go on to maturity not having to lay again these foundations of repentance these people don't preach repentance anymore repentance metanoia in the Greek means to think differently to change your opinion and then to reform and change your actions it's where we get our word metamorphosis from metanoia metamorphial you go from being an ugly fat little caterpillar to being a beautiful butterfly you've changed but the caterpillar has to crawl up in the tree and spin itself in the Cocoon
right it's a caterpillar doesn't do that it will die it won't become a butterfly it will be some birds breakfast and if we don't get this Foundation of repentance from dead Works dead Works can be feeding the poor but preaching a lie dead Works can be being an adulterer right the wages of sin is death you hear what I'm saying repentance boy do we need to get this down right here repentance confess your sin and turn away from it if you're a drunkard and you repent you say God forgive me for being a Drucker The Sinner forgive my sin I Repent I turn away from this I'm not going to be a drunkard anymore Jesus wash it away and help me stay away from it I was a drunkard I am not a drunkard anymore thank God amen I was a fornicator thank God I'm not a fornicator anymore but it's because of repentance I crawled up in the leaf of the word of God and conclude myself in and got the scriptures in me and feared God and said I'm going to change I'm not going to be a drunkard a fornicator an adulterer a violent man a rest I'm not going to be the same man a sorcerer drug user playing with witchcraft and divination like I was I'm not that anymore because I laid the foundation in my life of Jesus Christ as my savior that I believe and that I repented I acted on that this is foundational to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and yet it is not preached anymore you know Acts chapter 2 makes it very clear when when the the 3000 were standing Before Peter and they were convicted of their sin it says they were pricked in their heart and he said what do we do and what did Peter instruct these unsaved people that had been trying to crucify him crucify him just a few days before he says what repent and he baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin repent confess admit that you're a sinner turn from your sin make Jesus your lord be baptized and then you get the remission or removal or forgiveness of sin
Luke 24 Jesus said that repentance should be preached in his name this is basic but then we've got people like Rich Wilkerson Ginger I got rich Wilkinson JR we've got lips and Hillsongs in New York we've got Hillsongs out in the original Hillsongs in Australia saying that that Allah and and our God the same God we've got we got all this foolishness going on we've got what's his name Joseph Prince Joel Osteen Rick Warren they'll say all you gotta do is believe I got these for you scripture says in Timothy very clearly where is it first Timothy 2 second Timothy two I can't remember verse 19. First Timothy 6 219. read it bro II Timothy 2 19. let everyone the names the name of Christ depart from iniquity does it say you can live as wicked as you want still go to heaven if you name the name of Jesus Christ as your savior you depart from iniquity sin wickedness Injustice you depart from it you don't keep doing it bull baseball right this is basic folks basically nevertheless and I love the way it says the foundation didn't they just say the foundational principle the foundation of God's standard store having this seal the Lord knoweth them that are his and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity if you're going to name Jesus as your savior that means you get out of sexual sin it means you get out of drunkenness it means you get out of adultery it means you get out of pornography it means you get out of anger and cursing and bitterness it means you get out of unforgiveness and if you're struggling with something listen to me keep pressing on and fighting it till you overcome it because if you give up you lose your Eternal Soul to Eternal damnation you keep pressing on and what I love this verse and again it's leaving my mind but the righteous it says the righteous man or a just man falls seven times but Rises up again
but let me tell you this the difference between a Christian that believes the Bible and fears God when they fall they hate it they hate it they hate sin they hate the weakness they hate the flesh they hate what's trying to take them down they understand that the sin that's trying to destroy them is not just trying to not just trying to ruin their life here but it's trying to steal their Eternal Soul separate them from God forever that's why the false teaching of once you're saved always saved no matter what you do is such a dangerous thing because it removes the fear of God it removes the fear of going to hell some of us need to fear going to hell June 22 and 23 he gives instructions to us as Christians what we're supposed to do he said on some have compassion making a difference others say with fear pulling them out of the fire hating even the garments spotted by the flesh then if he was calling me a fear Monger I don't care what you call me if I scare the hell out of you and you get right with God and go to heaven I I don't care what you call me or anybody else calls me the Bible told me some people I'll have to show compassion on and others I'll have to scare to death but whatever it takes to get you to wake up and depart from sin told my wife I failed to preach coming on this morning how can a preacher stand up before thousands of people Rich Wilkerson Jr I said we're not going to talk about yeah we're not going to talk about what my what sends people to Heaven are hell but then he goes and talks about what sends people to heaven but not hell we're not gonna talk about that let's go back to Hebrews 6. he says the foundation foundational principles of the doctrines of Christ repentance number one Faith toward God see Josiah you said Faith a minute ago you were right it's just number two Faith toward God is more than just believing faith without works is dead so what he's talking about is you repent of your sin and then you continue in the word and act upon the faith and listen you either become a practitioner of righteousness or you become a practitioner of wickedness you can't be both Faith toward God faith is always based on the word of God so Faith toward God means you read the word he said I believe that and I'm gonna do what it says I'm gonna put that into practice in my life that's fine
I shouldn't have to tell you this is what he's saying I shouldn't have to repeat this to a Christian that you should put into practice what the Bible says that that's faith that you have to believe it and Obey it right there is no faith in God's word without obedience to God's word true Faith believes it in the heart speaks it with the mouth puts it into practice in the life don't tell me what you believe show me what you believe ouch isn't it I've been doing this a long time I've heard a lot of talk very little do you I love Jesus are you still sleeping with your boy I love Jesus why are you still getting drunk every week here I love Jesus why are you listening to Kanye and buying his house going down through these quickly here father we'll hear the word is harmful you know that person's on my mind right there too how can it it cannot be said enough Jesus says Matthew 7. many will say it to me in that name Lord Lord have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name cast out demons and in thy name ain't done me any wonderful work look here they said the doctrine of baptism plural baptisms foundational doctrine of Jesus he instructs us to be baptized in water once we believe that is a requirement of continuing in the word baptism doesn't save you but it's the next step you need to you need to do it's a public thing too it's a public profession of your faith in Jesus your identification with his death and his resurrection you must be baptized in one but is that all could it say the doctrine of the baptism
he said the doctrine of baptism meaning there's more than one there's the baptism in water and then there's the baptism in the Holy Spirit which comes after you're saved the baptism of the holy spirit is revealed in Acts chapter 2 Acts chapter 10 Acts chapter 19 and it's always accompanied by the gift of time I got people still want to argue with me about this read your Bible you can get mad at me I don't care if you're about what your Baptist Church says or your Methodist Church or your Presbyterian Church I don't care what the Bible says and he says the foundational doctrine of the church is the doctrine of baptisms water and Holy Ghost and if you're baptized in the Holy Ghost like they were in Acts chapter 2 like the Gentiles were in Acts chapter 10 or like the 12 disciples in his Ephesus in Acts chapter 19. if you're baptized in the Holy Ghost you will speak with other tongues as the spirit is uttered if not you are not baptized in the Holy Spirit yes I don't care who that'll fit you teach something contrary to that you are teaching contrary to the scriptures and there are people who need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost for the evidence of speaking another time you say is it a requirement to be saved no but I can tell you this if you don't get baptized in the Holy Spirit and learn to pray in tongues you might not make it because the Bible says praying in the spirit praying in unknown tongues strengthens you spiritually how many of you know you need some Christians need some strength no reason then we have I love this one the doctrine of the laying on of hand I may even know there's more than one purpose for the laying on of hands there's some of you I would like to lay hands on three ways hard fast and continuously but that's not what we're talking about here if I was a French preacher I'd take white gloves and slap it like they said the doctrine was laying on his hands there's several reasons for the laying on his hands Jesus said that Believers these signs would follow them that believe Mark 16 15-20 and that passage he said these signs would follow them that believe they will lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover the doctrine of Believers laying hands on the sick and Healing The Sick in the name of Jesus supernaturally is a foundational doctrine of the church to teach contrary to that is to teach a
doctrine of demon also the laying on of hands is to give the baptism of the Holy Spirit just like if I would take you the baptism of water I would take you and dunk you under the water and pull you back up when I'm going to pray for somebody to be baptized in the Holy Spirit we can lay hands on the Bible says in Acts chapter 19 when Paul found the disciples at Ephesus and he said have you received the Holy Ghost since you believe they said we have not even heard of this I said Paul laid his hands upon them and the Holy Ghost Came Upon them and they spoke with tongues and prophesied that's Bible that's the Bible Way not the Baptist way not the Methodist way Bible Way and I say this Christian music the Bible novel idea right Kanye West there's also another reason for the laying on a hand to impart other spiritual gifts Paul stated that very clearly to Timothy in the in the books of Timothy first and second about the laying on her hand well it's for the impartation of other spiritual gifts is for the impartation and also ordination purposes doctrine of laying on hand you go to church nobody wants to no no Elder no Minister will lay hands on you for anything there's something wrong there and I don't know what it is sometimes God gives me the gift of Prophecy will work through me word of knowledge turning the spirit sometimes without praying for you or touching you but I'll tell you what I've always noticed all the years people come up in an altar call and it's something about when I put my hands on them I put my hand laying my hand on the head it's like many many times yeah prophets the word of knowledge Word of Wisdom things folks this is something that all Christians are supposed to do you want to know why stuff doesn't happen go lay hands on people and pray for them what do you think the witches do it my hands on people you want something to happen now let me pray for you people come up telling you they got problems they got this going on this you know it's a good listen to them and when they shut up say can I pray for you and then lay your hands on them and pray for them you never know what might happen God might just give them a little jolt the power or give you a word to give to them or heal something in their body or heal something in their marriage or their home what I'm saying is you you want stuff to happen but step out there
okay foundational to the church I know a a Pentecostal Church in Montgomery I remember in 1991 church was was all about the gifts of the holy spirit in church tongues interpretation of tongues and having altar calls and praying for people at the altar and praying for believers and stuff at the altar and then they got a new pastor and he wanted to be Seeker sensitive and he's he stated and he's actually still the pastor there little devil he's about that thought well the moment he came he and I butted heads you know why because I'm about this you know what he wanted to do we're going to tone down the worship I'm gonna tone it down we're going to become the Frasier the The Frazier United Methodist Church the Pentecostal Frazier of Montgomery we're not going to let the gift of tongues interpretation be in church we're not going to have people prophesying let me tell you what happened he became pastor and the Holy Spirit left that church and so did all the strong true spiritual Believers that were in that church personal friends of mine that I knew said we we can't say this it's dead it's a door now can't be ashamed the gifts of the holy spirit for the truth of God's word notice he says here of the doctrine of the resurrection of the Dead that means everything that it encapsulates there the second coming of Jesus at the second coming of Jesus it says the dead in Christ will be raised up then we which are alive will be raised that we will be changed in the moment the twinkling of an eye the last trumpet on the last day as it says in John 6 we'll be raised up and changed and our mortal body will put on immortality and the immortal body that's the resurrection I'm not ashamed to preach that Jesus our savior died on the cross and physically rose from the dead bodily rose from the dead with a new body that still had the nail prints in his hands and the in the the wound in his side and in his feet but his body though physical flesh and Bone he said it's flesh and bone is my body but that body could walk through this wall right here the Bible says when we see him he will be like him in a moment will be changed whether you died and went in the grave or you're here when he returns you will be resurrected from the dead your body will be and notice he doesn't leave this one out and of the doctrine of Eternal judgment
and I looked the words up and guess what it means Eternal judgment the word judgment means damnation condemnation see we got people saying like Rob Bell we got others saying hell is not eternal they turned hell into like the Catholic Purgatory you go there you you suffer a little bit but you get out not eternal or that hell is just the grave and you're annihilated once you die now the Bible says and it's very clear eternal damnation recently I covered this in one of our radio shows but Revelation 14 says the smoke of their torment those who end up taking the mark of the beast it says the smoke of their torment will arise day and night forever they will have no rest ever the man in hell that Jesus talked about in Luke 16 that he lifted up his eyes and how he said I am in torment in this slain he said let Lazarus pass across the gulf and give me a drip of water on my tongue what did Jesus say those where you are cannot pass to where we are what's that mean you don't get out Eternal means eternal Eternal damnation Eternal condemnation Eternal judgment Eternal suffering Eternal punishment for your crimes God and that you know we give people life in prison don't we they can go out and kill some people say that Alabama does I used to visit people on death row in prisons here I was the last preacher one woman ever talked to before she was executed but most of the time our country's gotten so soft we don't give capital punishment we don't kill the murderers we just give them life in prison I don't know about y'all I thank God I've never been in prison on the wrong side I've been to many prisons to preach and to visit with inmates both male prison female prison I tell you one thing prison is no fun some are worse than others you don't want to go to prison in Mexico you don't want to go to prison in Iran or North Korea
you know a Canadian Pastor that's got caught in North Korea and sentenced to life in prison and hard labor in North Korea the folks hell when you think about it we human beings have a sense of justice and judgment that if you do something by taking away someone else's life we will take away your life and make you suffer in prison for the rest of your life and we're just human beings and we think it's odd that God Almighty who has a much higher standard of Holiness and righteousness that he would find that we find it odd that he would actually punish someone for all eternity for their Rebellion but see what you guys don't get is this we think it's terrible if someone kills someone in this world and yes murder is a terrible sin it's a terrible crime but let me just say this taking the name of Jesus and not living a Christian Life and causing other people to stumble and not uh not find Jesus as their Savior and you damn them by your life and your example and everything else to Eternal damnation don't you think that's a bigger crime than if you murdered someone here on the Earth see God looks at it differently you will be an influence for the devil or you will be an influence for God you will lead people to Jesus or you will lead people away from Jesus you will be a reason to help people find Jesus or you will be a reason to help people stumble and not find it there's no Switzerland here there's no neutral country no neutral no neutral spot now I said all this because it seemed that the church doesn't believe this stuff anymore but I say this if you're a church and you don't believe these foundational things you don't believe the Bible you're not a church you're a country club your Amway McDonald make Church let me go to one more thing before we close here go to Second Corinthians chapter four I'm sorry but I'm a little fired up today
you all right y'all look white out there the opacity is a little heavy just it's just you know we're we're still in Holiday mode we'll tell you where most of this starts okay listen to me Claus a lot of these preachers and a lot of Christians don't start out wrong they start out right but there becomes these motivations that change everything this has been on my mind a lot and you need to listen to me close here I know I know we're we're winding down here but pay attention to this last little bit Paul said this in second Corinthians chapter 4 verse one he says therefore seeing we have received therefore seeing we have this ministry as we have received Mercy we faint not but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to Every Man's conscience in the sight of God but if our gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost in whom the God of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the Glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them but we preach not ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake now let's back up here this is on my mind and listen to me very closely there are many churches out here and pastors and ministers that appear to be Christian they appear to be sincere they appear to be preaching Jesus preaching the gospel they appear to be but a wrong motive crept in their heart at some point and that motive began to be more than preaching the truth we've got to build something and once it's the goal is to build something how many we have at church a new building program the moment we want to build something instead of preach the truth and let the chips fall where they may the moment we do that the doors open to Great deception see I I and I'm gonna try to be sensitive here but there's a whole church world out there and I'm not picking on what many denominations charismatic Pentecostal Baptist Methodist Assembly of God you name it
there's only two types of ministry you either handle the word of God deceitfully Christy in order to manipulate people's emotions and build a church or your method is the simple full manifestation of the truth
