You know, the phone might not work here before long for you since you're a Christian. Oh my. Um, go ahead and take your Bibles out and let's turn to Exodus chapter 14. And I have entitled this today, go forward. Now, this is a little bit different. I'm going to tell you right now because this is a prophetic word, I believe, for our church and those who watch and listen out there. This is a prophetic word. It's for some of you, it's going to be very personal and very specific.
Um, somebody say go forward. Uh, we might get to Lot's wife, but we remember what she did. What the Lord tell them to do. Don't look back. Right? The Lord didn't even want to see any action come out of them when they were leaving Sodom and Gomorrah. that their heart was still back there. And we're getting to that place again where the Lord's going to say, "That's it. I've had it with your little dance back and forth across the fence. I've had it with lukewarmness. I've had it with you trying to love the world and love me, too. It's time to break up with the world fully because there's something I found out just this morning. this just blown my mind. But we won't get to that till the end toward the end of this. Exodus 14:E3. This is when they stood before the Sea of Galilee. And if you will remember, there's a mountain on this side. There's a mountain on this side. And behind them is the entire Egyptian army with Pharaoh. Now the Lord, the pillar of his fire and cloud, moved behind them to put a wall between them and the Egyptians. So for a little bit they had a time of grace where they had to wait on the Lord. Somebody say wait. Wait. Even when you feel trapped, if you don't have a word from the Lord what to do, what do I tell you all the time? If you don't know, don't go. Right now, the Lord had told them, "Leave Egypt, go into the wilderness. There you're going to sacrifice to me. You're going to worship me. I'm going to separate you out. You're going to be a people, my people." So they stand there in front of the Red Sea and an army behind them. They got babies, little toddlers, animals, all kinds of stuff. They're not going to make it across there. Now, some people have said, I remember the liberal scholars used say, "Oh, it wasn't very deep at that time of year." Bible says pretty plainly what happened when God opened the sea up said they went across on what? Wet ground, two feet deep ground. No, dry ground. See, I I don't understand why anybody listen to somebody like that, but they teach our pastors in the seminary. Um, but let's read this.
Moses said unto the people, "Fear ye not. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace or keep your stupid mouth shut from doubt and complaining. When the Lord says you're going to stand still and keep your mouth shut, guess what you ought to do? Stand still and keep your mouth shut. This is that little time period in between when the Lord puts you somewhere and there's an obstacle in front of you. You cannot go through it. He doesn't want to hear the whining and the complaining and the doubt. Because this is the exact thing when he told them, "You're going to go three days journey for me out into the and you're going to worship me. You're going to sacrifice to me. I'm going to reveal myself to you." What what God wants us to do is believe that no matter what's in front of us, no matter what the obstacle, no matter what armies, that if he said we're going from point A to point B, that's where we're going. And our job is to when he says to move to go forward that's our job. Amen. And when we go forward in confidence and faith in him boldly is when the miracles will take place. But if we doubt and draw back, what is behind us? The very things that God has been delivering us from. The Egyptians, that worldly system, that system of idolatry, that system of of paganism and and just evil is behind us. the place where they were slaves behind them. Can I just tell you right now, you have no option. If you want to make it to heaven and to God's eternal kingdom, you have no option but to go forward. You cannot go backwards. Not anymore. There's no more slip sliding back and forth. That's over. And there's some of you right now, you're wondering why you feel so depressed, dead, and empty on the inside. And it's because God's told you to go forward, but you're too scared to do it. That's why he told them, "Fear not, and keep your mouth shut, cuz you will talk yourself out of moving
forward." And I just had this happen to to me. I'm not going to go into all the details, but there's some some things going on. And to tell you truthfully, I wanted to step back away from it all. And I mean for real, step back away. I'm done. Goodbye. See you later. Right? And then I started getting more and more and more miserable, heavy, oppressed, as my wife will tell you, a little snippy. Just a little bit, she says. And I mean, I was so heavy I couldn't put it into words. And and yet I was still crying out to the Lord, God, you got to help me with this. It's just too much, y'all. There's a lot of things y'all don't know that I've had to deal with and fight with and stuff that's just overwhelming me at times. And I just wanted to draw back just a little bit, you know, draw back and rest. Sit down. Everybody else go on the cross. I'll just sit here for a minute. Right. And I didn't really understand fully what was going on, but I knew I was so the and then and then the enemy jumped on me and it was so heavy. It was just hard to even breathe. It was hard to pray. It was hard to breathe. It was hard to I mean, I was still trying. That's why I said I love that song. The more I seek you, the more you just got to keep seeking God no matter what kind your way you feel like. Amen. Don't turn the TV on. Go pray. Go worship God. Go do something because you got to seek him to get through it because he'll show you what's wrong. See, he told them what you're going to keep your mouth shut. And then the here's something else. This is just crazy, isn't it? The Lord told Moses, said, 'Why are you crying to me? Speak to the children of Israel that day go forward. See, there's a time you there's things God's already told you to do or where you're going or where you're supposed to be. He's done with you praying about it. I don't want to hear it anymore. take a step forward and obey me. So, Wednesday night, I came in here. I didn't even want to come to church. I'm telling y'all, I've been in a bad mood.
And of course, I just had COVID. And it took me I had a week of COVID. Took me another week to even feel back to normal. Um, seems like I always get it when I run for office. Um, and so I was kind of just feeling all out of whack, out of sink, but I got up here and I prayed anyway. I didn't feel like it at all. And I prayed anyway. And I felt the Lord telling me I needed to really go after breaking curses, words being spoken against me by both spiritual enemies, witches, Satanist enemies of that nature, Jesuits. We could go down the list. But also, I needed to break the curses of my political enemies. All right? Because they they don't want me to get in there. I can tell you right now, they they they don't want me in there. Some of them would probably sacrifice their firstborn to keep me out. All right? And this goes on all the time. It's not a lie. But this war that we're in, so I I went off on that. I did my normal I started binding the demons sent by witches, Satanists, enemies, Jesuits, all haters, breaking their curses and their words off of me and the spells and incantations breaking that off, binding the demons and commanding them to go, leave me. And I felt a little break. I felt a little lift off of the heaviness. But the Lord wasn't finished because when I got home that night, got in bed, I was praying as I was going to sleep. But when I woke up that morning and I woke up early, the Holy Spirit was on me. And it was like I knew why all I kind of opened the door for that. I kind of opened the door to let it get me and get me down because I was starting to draw back a little bit. And when I said, "All right, that's it. I'm moving forward now. Whatever I can do, I'm going to move forward. I don't know how I'm going to do it all, but I'm moving forward." Let me tell you, it really all broke off. all of the foggess, all the cloudiness, all the darkness, all the depression and confusion lifted off and there was perfect clarity from God what to do, what to do next. You don't have to know everything down the road. Just what do we do next? What am I supposed to be doing? And what is the process or the steps I need to take to do that thing? And again, it all it all became perfectly clear. But when I moved forward on what the Lord was telling me to do, I also found peace and strength, right?
And this is why we have to we there's a there's a like this place with the Israelites. They could not go to the left. They couldn't go to the right. And they couldn't go backwards. They could not. But then there's the Red Sea in front. So that's when the Lord says, "You move forward." Now, did he tell them to move forward before or after he parted the Red Sea? Before. Always before. Why is it before? Because he wants you to step in faith. No need for faith once the miracle happens, right? Faith has to precede it. And again, this comes from having a place where you are walking in a relationship with the Lord, right? And you know, this is a step I take, right? You heard from him because he told them to move forward toward the sea. So they knew what they were supposed to do. Now the sea in front of them, the sea in front of them was what? A massive obstacle. And in the natural realm, it was not possible for three million Israelites, Hebrews, to pass over with their children and their animals and everything else. But the Lord told him what to do. Told Moses what to do. Lift up thou thy rod and stretch out thine hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. And behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. And I will get me honor upon Pharaoh and upon all his hosts and upon his chariots and upon his horsemen. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh upon his chariots and upon his horsemen. Now, of course, I love the fact that they have found, you know, who was it? Ron White and some of the others, but there's been multiple now people go to the point where they crossed. We know where they crossed cuz Solomon put up a pillar and they have found videoed and photographed chariot wheels down there. Um I imagine if there was time you'd find a lot of stuff down there. Now so we know it was a true event right now. I want you to turn to Isaiah 43:18 and 19. I'll be referring back to the Red Sea. What in front of you looks impossible and so impossible that you'd rather draw back
than face it or or or get yourself to the place you believe even though you can see no possible way. How do you get yourself to believe what God said that we're going from here to here? Here's what you have to do. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. The Lord says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Now, what is he telling them now? Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Don't live in the past where you say, "God, I tried this and didn't work last time." Or, "I've tried and I've tried and I tried." like like husbands and wives, we've been to counseling, counseling, counseling, and it doesn't seem to work. Or I got fired from another job. Why is this not working? Should I go try this again? Or or maybe a church, you know, you and a church had to part ways. A lot of people don't want to ever go back to church again. There's all kinds of obstacles in our way. Unforgiveness towards somebody in the what? Past. If you want to move forward, if you want to go forward, you got to make sure that number one, you have confessed and repented of your past sins. You've forgiven everyone who hurt you, wronged you in the past. And I don't care if the past was a few hours ago. And what the Lord is saying here when he says, "Don't put it back on verse 18." When he says right here, "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old." He's not saying we're going to be able to forget those things. Somebody somebody may have been raped. Somebody may have been molested. Somebody may have been physically abused by their parents or by a relative or by a teacher or by a stranger. We're not going to forget that. That's not what he's talking about. He's talking about don't dwell on it. Don't keep your mind on that thing because if you do, it'll keep you depressed. It'll keep you discouraged. It'll keep you beat down, which is where Satan wants to keep you.
And then he'll jump on your head and he'll keep he'll help you out if you're keeping your mind on these things. This is why it says, "Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon thee, the Lord." Right? What is it? Isaiah 26 something 2, three. But thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. As a man thinkketh in his heart, so is he. Right? I believe that's Proverbs 23:7. As a man thinkketh in his heart. So if you dwell on something, see the Lord told me a while back about this particular obstacle in my life, do not dwell on it. And guess what I've done? Like an idiot, dwelled upon it. Remember, consider, think about it, toil about it. And the Lord says, "Move forward." But Lord, I don't feel like it. But Lord, it's impossible. But Lord, there's a sea in front. But Lord, I don't have enough money. Or Lord, I can't do this. Or I can't do that. Lord, physically, I can't do it. What's he say? Quit remembering. Quit thinking about the past. Even quit thinking about the times you failed trying to do his will. Stop it. We've all made mistakes trying to walk this walk out. quit dwelling on that. And then he says verse 19, "Behold, watch and see. I will do a new thing, a thing I haven't done 1:00:041 hour, 4 secondsbefore." Now, remember, the Lord did part the River Jordan for Elijah and Elisha, but that's just a little River Jordan. 1:00:141 hour, 14 secondsThis was the monster sea, Red Sea here. 1:00:211 hour, 21 secondsAnd he had never parted that.
