that fire lord the fire of the holy ghost lord god we pray for that fresh fire a fresh anointing of the holy spirit lord a fresh baptism in the holy spirit lord god the fresh anointing god to just be bolder to step out in faith to believe your word god to believe what what you said to step out in the authority and power you've given us and to use the name of jesus lord to to bind demons to cast out demons to break every curse to set the captives free to to heal the sick and and to lead people that have been blinded by satan to lead them to the light to the glorious gospel of jesus christ father we pray for the anointing and power of the holy spirit to do that better and and to reach more people and just to be more effective lord in what you've called us to do oh we asked for that this morning in jesus name and everybody said amen amen you may be seated welcome you to fire and grace church this morning we welcome those listening by blog talk radio um you know this morning when i posted the uh the link for the blog talk radio listeners i entitled the message fighting witches fighting witches uh we're gonna dig a little bit into this a little bit this morning but we gotta we're gonna go about it in a long we're gonna we're gonna take a long little journey around the the scriptures but we need to understand that um we are in a spiritual war not just with satan and fallen angels and demons and the powers of darkness but with people that work that work with those powers now we don't fight those people i'm not talking about we fight physical people but don't ever think that the devil doesn't use people as well as just come at you directly i mean satan can come at you directly without using a person but he does use people to come at you and to bring these things so we're going to talk about witches warlocks satanist we're going to talk about witchcraft can it affect the christian we'll talk about that a little bit this morning because it's an important thing because folks look witchcraft is a 2009 i think it was nbc cbs article i've got it on my computer here 2009 articles said that witchcraft or the witchcraft religion wicca and similar groups were the fastest growing religion in america in 2009
there's a new tv series starting uh here i think i saw the advertisement i think it was this week it already started called the good witch but i mean going back to even my childhood that was bewitched remember and um always trying to paint witchcraft in a good light and you'll see that there are people who think that there are good witches um and that there is uh witchcraft or wiccans say they don't believe in satan that that's a christian concept um i like how they try to pawn satan off on us as if we created him or something but there are witches you know i was on some witches uh websites last night it's amazing that there were witches who admitted yes there's white witchcraft or what we call uh the earth religion and then there's black magic and they said you know you're dealing with some dark and dangerous forces when you start dealing with black magic and i thought it is interesting here's a wiccan who proclaims to be a good witch to only use her powers and her spells and her incantations for good yet she acknowledges that there is a dark side as well to magic there are dark powers that are very dangerous and that a witch at any point in time a good witch can choose to use the powers of darkness so i found that very interesting right you and i both know according to the scriptures that witchcraft all witchcraft all dabbling in the occult realm i don't care if you slap on it good witch white witchcraft wicca earth religion the goddess anything you want to slap on it there's only two power sources in the universe there's god almighty yahweh the creator of heaven and earth the lord jesus christ of nazareth who died on the cross and rose from the dead god in the flesh him and then there is satan and his kingdom now the bible tells us in second corinthians chapter 11 that satan also transforms himself and comes as an angel of light so he will try to appear at times to be good but it doesn't mean that he is if it is outside of jesus christ outside of the word of god the bible if you're dabbling with energies and powers and spirits you're dabbling with satan no matter what mask he has on or doesn't have on okay now this is almost for most of the church world the the idea that we're dealing with
spiritual forces they don't even address it anymore right even though the book of ephesians chapter 6 starting at verse 10 says what be strong in the lord and in the power of his might put on the whole armor of god that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and against powers and against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places wherefore take unto you the whole armor of god that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil all right then he goes on to talk about the girdle of truth right the breastplate of righteousness having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace above all he says above all take the shield of faith wherewith you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked isn't that interesting he didn't sell the fiery darts of the devil he said all the fiery darts are the wicked we're going to talk about that we're also going to talk about the shield of faith but then he goes on to talk about the heaven of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of god now before we proceed and i start really getting into the scriptures because i am going to have you turn to some stuff before we get into that i want i want you to just get a hold of something here faith the shield of faith if if if i was dressed in roman first century roman soldier armor ready for battle and i was getting ready to fight and then i stepped into the fight would i be standing still doing nothing i mean you know your boxer could get his his nice trunks on you know the shiny ones and his gloves on and get up get his hands you know taped up and get the gloves on get him laced up but if he just stands there with his hands down if he doesn't move what will happen to it he will get beat down very quickly right [Music] i know i used to box remember i told you about a friend of mine popped him in the nose one time he took the gloves off the mirror take him off former pastor friend of mine still enjoy that though right that was a long time ago that was pre-jesus all right [Music] but hear what i'm talking about
if you're in the armor of god the shield and the sword is going to be in movement right if the enemy swings low you take the shield down low right if he swings high you move the shield up high you get what i'm saying this is what we've got to understand this is where the whole body of christ is missing it on spiritual warfare and dealing with witchcraft that's being being fired against them and they don't even realize they've got the idea that because just because they're dressed for battle or just because they are in jesus they're saved they think they can sit there and do nothing and they're protected this is one of the biggest lies satan has ever put on the church that you can be inactive and you're going to win the fight somehow okay let me get something across to you matter of fact let's let's turn there this morning because i want to just say something about faith you gonna make it bro go to james chapter two okay because remember we're talking about the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked right and in james chapter 2 i was reading james this week early one morning [Music] and i was reading this and it just kind of left off the page at me go down to verse 14. because we need to look at a little something about faith this morning faith is active it is not passive faith does something always all right let's look at it y'all with me james chapter 2 verse 14. he says what does it profit my brethren though a man say he hath faith and have not works or corresponding action some kind of action can faith save him if a brother or sister be naked and destitute of daily food and whatever you say unto them depart in peace be you warmed and filled notwithstanding you give them not those things which are needful to the body what does it profit meaning if you don't do something right it's in your power to do even so faith if it hath not works is dead being alone now see now this this what i'm about to read to you the rest of what i'm about to read drives the hyper grace calvinist presbyterian baptist folks
crazy right because there's going to be words here that's just disturbing to their theology it really is faith without some kind of actions with works dead being alone right he says at one time verse 18 he says yea a man may say thou has faith and i have works show me thy faith without thy works and i will show thee my faith by my works thou believers that there is one god you do well the devils also believe and tremble what's he saying there believing if if faith is simply about believing he said that doesn't mean anything the devil even believes the devil believes in jesus you guys doesn't mean a thing verse 20 but will thou know o vain man that faith without works is dead says it again and then he starts tearing up the hyper grace crowd was not abraham our father justified by works when he had offered isaac his son upon the altar see is then how faith wrought with his works and by works was faith made perfect and the scripture was fulfilled which said abraham believed god and it was imputed unto him for righteousness and he was called the friend of god notice it says and the scripture was fulfilled that abraham believed god abraham believed god enough he's put it in context abraham believed god enough to sacrifice to obey god and sacrifice his son isaac or to go do it to follow through with it until god told him to stop right and then verse 24. let's tear up some folks right here you see then how that by works a man is justified and not by faith only an entire theology out there says it by faith alone right no i'm sorry friend it's not by faith alone faith always true bible holy ghost faith will produce in you some kind of action amen and then he uses this example verse 25 and verse 26 he says likewise also was not rahab the harlot justified by works when she had received the messengers and sent them out another way and he was using the story of how rahab the harlot feared god and she was in jericho and when the
spies came in she hid the spies and helped the children of israel she chose god's side and had works to prove that she chose god's side and it says she was justified and she saved herself and her household by her faith that had actions okay now in romans 10 i'm not you can turn there if you want to but in romans 10 he says that the word is neither even in the thy mouth and that's the word of faith okay i mean the way we get saved folks i mean i don't think any even even any baptist would disagree with me and i know i'm picking on them but it's just fact of life right but the bible says in romans 10 9 that if thou should confess with thy mouth the lord jesus believe in thine heart that god has raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved for with the mouth oh you made me that's that's that word of faith that's that prospect no it's not for with the mouth confession is made what to salvation the heart believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation faith says something faith does something okay i'm just trying to make you understand that because we're going back to talking about the shield of faith this morning and quenching the fiery darts of the wicked it will be if you're going to use the shield of faith it will be by you not just believing some theological truth it will be you saying something or doing something that will break and quench that fiery dart do you hear me the spirit world has rules and laws okay i'm laying this foundation out you everybody you can look turn turn to um proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 okay there are spiritual principles that work on both sides whether you're on god's side or you're on satan's side whether you're a born again holy ghost filled believer or you're a witch satanist luciferian illuminati nut case worshiping the devil there are principles that that the spirit realm that the laws of the spirit realm okay and one of the number one laws of the spirit realm is the power of words spoken words proverbs 18 verse 21 death and life
are what in the power of the tongue and they that love it meaning which one you love death or life they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof meaning not only is is the power of life and death in what you say but you're planting seeds that are going to grow a crop later meaning that that these words are going to go do something oh i hadn't really dug into that enough to get into that yet but anyway the words are powerful and yes there are scientific tests that's proven the effect the words negative verbs versus positive now listen to me um witchcraft whether it be wicca full-fledged black magic satanism the illuminati the freemasons freemason whether it be santeria voodoo juju whatever you want to call it they understand this number one principle of the power of words go to any of the witchcraft websites and i wouldn't advise this for younger ones but if you go to any of the witchcraft websites on how to's one of the first things they tell you is if you want to do a spell if you want to send forces spiritual forces some will say demons some will say spirit some will say energy but if you want to send power to try to influence somebody or even harm somebody or even you know do something bad to somebody they will tell you the first thing you got to do is speak it out and some of them even say that as you're speaking it out to visualize it happening what you want to see visualize it so visualization is one of the biggest second biggest aspects of witchcraft that christians aren't supposed to to do at all okay we don't created the our own images and visions in our mind if god wants to give us a vision that's fine but we don't create them so visual visualization is creating the images yourself and focusing on that
now some of them even say that the spell or the curse will work better if they work themselves up into a fit of rage or anger toward the person that they're cursing so meaning the more emotion and the more the more energy they can focus at it the more powerful the curse or the spell will be now they also employ another tactic another spiritual principle that works on both sides of the fence and that is they know the power of objects that either because of what they represent have spiritual and demonic power to them or because they have been used in rituals or they're a physical potion or whatever all right now this principle we we believe this principle in the kingdom of god we see in acts chapter 19 that paul was working at ephesus right he was working as a carpenter a tent maker and he says that his aprons were taken and and the anointing of the holy spirit was so on paul that when they even took his aprons that belonged to him and took them to demon-possess people and sick people they got delivered and healed by the power of jesus that object became a point of contact well go to any of the witchcraft websites they'll talk about having a physical point of contact okay now there are a lot of christians that believe can witchcraft affect me i'm going to talk about some specific things because i've been battling fighting witches for nearly 30 years really i can look back even before i rededicated my life to the lord in 1987 i can look back now and see some of the people that i was involved with in high school were really witches and satanists and i didn't know it at the time but i can look back now and see it okay can a witch a satanist can their curses their spells their demons their forces can they use the forces of darkness and send them toward you yes see this is why this scripture and i'm going to read i hope y'all can stay with me on this because this scripture says what taking above all taking the shield of faith where which we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked now how do they fire these darts their words okay folks i can tell you the reality of this now let's let's look at the scripture
did you know we again we got the christians out here who don't believe first of all they don't believe witches have any power they just think it's they're just it's all in their head or something right we got christians that believe this it's all in their head and even if they do have demons and even if they are delving into supernatural forces and magic and witchcraft that because i'm a christian and i'm washed in the blood and i'm i'm nothing can affect me okay but see that's not true and i'm gonna show you we're gonna give you some bible on this you can't be ignorant of the devil's devices or he will get an advantage over you now i want everybody to turn to first corinthians chapter 10. all right we're going to start there we're going to go to exodus 17 after this y'all with me all right this amazing story in the old testament we're going to look at that god is really opening my eyes to some things and i've been doing some digging but first of all we need to lay this foundation first corinthians chapter 10 verse 1. everybody there i want you to see this it's very important that you see it's a very important principle he said more of a brethren i would not that you should be ignorant how that all our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea and were all baptized unto moses in the cloud and in the sea and did all eat the same spiritual meat and did all drink the same spiritual drink for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was christ but with many of them god was not well pleased for they were overthrown in the wilderness now look at verse six you know to highlight this underlying this he said now these things were our examples to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted neither be idolaters as were some of them as it is written the people sat down to eat and drink rose up to play neither let us commit or practice fornication sexual immorality as some of them committed and fell in one day twenty three and twenty thousand neither let us tempt christ as some of them also tempted and were destroyed of serpents neither murmur ye some of them also murdered and were destroyed of the destroyer now he's talking about what went on in the wilderness when the children of israel left egypt under moses and he's already said in verse six now these things are our examples and then he finishes this verse 11 he says now all these things happened unto them for examples and they are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come so if anybody tells you the old testament is irrelevant today
step back from that individual because they're either ignorant as the day is long right or they've got an agenda i i mean it really comes down to that people are either ignorant stupid they don't know what they're talking about most of which is the case or they're lying on purpose which means they have an agenda okay because here's what the bible says these things that happened unto them were examples so everything in the old testament somebody say this with me say everything in the old testament written down were examples for us there are admonitions to us so we're to be taught by them spiritual principles now i want you to go i'm going to show you something go with me to exodus chapter 17. exodus 17 exodus 17. everybody there now remember the bible doesn't deny the reality of the powers of satan in witchcraft remember exodus 7 if you went back to exodus 7 you would find the story of god given moses three signs that he would do before pharaoh he would had a rod that he would throw down it would turn into a serpent he could stick his hand into his clothing and pull it out it would be leprous he could put it back in it would be healed and then he could take water he could pull a cup of water out of the river and pour it out on the ground and the water would turn into blood okay god gave moses three signs to be a witness to both the israelites that he was sent from god and to to pharaoh right but if you read everyone knows the story when moses went to pharaoh he cast his rod down and it turned into a serpent and the egyptian magicians and we find out their names in second timothy we find out their names janice and jambrez when moses cast down his rod and it turned into a serpent they cast down their rods and they turned into a serpent oh my the demon worshipping satan worshipping demon god ra whatever horus isis worshiping egyptians had supernatural power from the devil that looked just like the miracle that god just did through moses and because of this it says pharaoh hardened his heart now we know the story moses serpent devoured the rods of the egyptians which showed whose power dominates but it doesn't deny the fact that one side that both sides have power
both sides can do miracles both sides have signs and wonders right now when you come to exodus 17 it gets real interesting exodus 17 this is the story it starts out with the reference that we just read in first corinthians chapter 10 about the rock following them and that water came out of the rock but god supernaturally had this rock massive rock that followed the israelites as they moved through the wilderness and out of this rock came enough water for three million people in the desert supernatural power but he says that this rock that followed them was christ that jesus was manifesting himself as this supernatural rock that was given water and life right that's why he says it's the same spiritual meat and the same spiritual drink for that rock that followed them he didn't say was like christ he said was christ think about that for a second god god manifested himself in a burning bush one time that was not consumed right god can manifest himself however he so chooses he did you know he manifested himself in a pillar of a cloud and the pillar of a fire does that mean that god's a cloud and a pillar no but he manifested his himself and his presence as a cloud and as a fire okay you hear what i'm saying now let's read this we're going to start verse 17 i mean in chapter 17 verse 1 and all the congregation of the children of israel journeyed from the wilderness of sin after their journeys according to the commandment of the lord and pitched in refereeing and there was no water for the people to drink wherefore the people did chide with moses and said give us water that we may drink and moses said unto them why child ye with me wherefore do you take the lord and the people thirsted there for water and the people murmured against moses and said wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of egypt to kill us and our children and our cattle would thirst it sound like a church church folks don't they complaining and moses cried unto the lord saying what shall i do unto this people they'd be almost ready to stone me and the lord said unto moses go on before the elders and take with thee the elders of israel and thy rod wherewith thou smote the river taken thy hand and go and behold i will stand before thee there upon the rock in horeb and thou shalt smite the rock and there shall come out water out of it and the people may drink and moses did so in the sight of the elders of israel and they called
the name of the place masa or and meribah because of the childing of the children of israel because they tempted the lord saying is the lord among us or not okay so i wanted you to see here's the context of him saying from what we read in first corinthians these things are examples so here's the same chapter now in the same chapter he talks about this water coming from this rock he talks about the battle with the amalekites okay now let's read this we're going to read from verse 8. stay with me now then came amalek and fought with israel in refereeing and moses said unto joshua choose us out men and go out and fight with amalek tomorrow i will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of god in my hand the representation of god's authority and rule and power and dominion that god had given to moses and to his people he said i'll stand on the hill with the rod of god in my hand verse 10. so joshua did as moses had said to him and fought with amalek and moses aaron and her went up to the top of the hill now listen closely and it came to pass when moses held up his hand that israel prevailed and when he let down his hand amalek prevailed but moses hands were heavy and they took a stone and put it under him and he sat there on and aaron and her stayed up his hands the one on one side and the other on the other side and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun and joshua disconfited amalek and his people with the edge of the sword and the lord said unto moses write this for a memorial in a book rehearse it in the ears of joshua for i will utterly put out the remembrance of amalek from under heaven and moses built an altar and called the name of it jehovah nisi for he said because the lord hath sworn listen the lord hath sworn that he will have war with amalek from generation to generation okay now remember we just read all these things that happened unto them are examples for us right now folks hear what i'm about to say the battle between the israelites and the amalekites was both physical and spiritual how do we know it was spiritual well what does it have to do with an old man sitting on a hill when he raises his hands one army starts winning when he puts his hands back down his army starts losing that shows that this battle
had to be won with both a spiritual aspect and a physical aspect i mean the men of war the soldiers literally had to go down into the valley to fight these literal people but it was spiritual and it was only going to be successful by spiritual forces now i'm going to share some things with you because the amalekites we see them continuing on into the time this is the time of moses we see problems with the amalekites or amalek we see their problems with their people on down into the days of saul and david david and saul saul got in trouble because god commanded him to kill all the amalekites not leave one not men women and children now the people out in the world want to say god ordered saul to commit genocide against the amalekites to wipe them out this is listen folks and i've said this before and our church knows this but this is one of the main arguments of the world against the god of the bible that he ordered the killing of men women and children of certain groups of people now we've talked about this before about wine you see we believe the scriptures teach genesis 6 that the sons of god are the fallen angels took human women had sexual relations with them and these women these human women bore children to these fallen angels and these half breeds were called nephilim raphaem and akim like anakin skywalker maybe eminem that was one of the names of the groups of giants or nephilim um huh zamzumins yeah the zamzumins or zamzumines there were several there were several groups what's interesting and i'm just going to give you the the chapter in numbers chapter 24 it says something about amalek that's interesting because you're not going to find this if you look this up in the hebrew dictionary you're not going to find this if you look this up in other dictionaries or even in commentaries most commentaries because when you look at the origin of the amalek and amalekites it'll say a descendant of esau yeah wait a minute now turn to turn to numbers 24 i'm gonna show you this

thought to promote thee and with great honor but lo the lord yahweh has held you back from honor and balaam said unto baalik spake i not also to thy messenger which thou sent his son to me saying if balak would give me his house full of silver and gold i cannot go beyond the commandment of the lord to do either good or bad of my own mind but what the lord saith that will i speak and now behold i go to my people come therefore and i will advertise thee what this people shall do it to thy people in the latter days in the end times the last days and he took up his parable and said to balaam the son of beor has said the man whose eyes are open hath said he hath said which heard the words of god and knew the knowledge of the most high which he saw in a vision of the almighty falling into a trance but having his eyes open i shall see him but not now i shall behold him but not nigh there shall come a star out of jacob and a scepter shall rise out of israel and shall smite the corners of moab and destroy all the children of sheth now this is a prophecy the star that shall rise out of jacob is jesus the messiah the morning star and he will smite the corners of moab all right so moab will be destroyed and edom shall be a possession and seer shall be a possession for his enemies and israel shall do valiantly he's talking about all the way to the last days he said out of jacob shall come he that shall have dominion that is the messiah jesus christ from the tribe of judah that daniel says will come and the book of revelation says will come with a rod of iron and rule all nations amen it is out of jacob shall come he that shall have dominion and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city and when he looked on amalek he took up his parable and said amalek was the first of the nations but his latter end shall be that he perish forever oh my yeah and i looked up first in the hebrew guess what it means first in time place right first of the nations now let's think about that for a second see the bible is always true i don't care what anybody else says what was the first nation that when when mankind actually formed and grouped together to form a a political a political entity and a spiritual entity
i mean we have the picture of that the beginning of that right the beginning of the nations genesis chapter 10 but the first we know of in genesis 10 is babylon the beginning of babylon babel sumer sumerians when we have history we have artifacts we have i think going back five thousand plus years that we know everyone looks at the sumerians as the first civilization the first real nation it's not what it says here this prophet who prophesied the messiah would come out of israel out of the jews said that amalek was the first of the nations now do you want me to throw you a real curveball this morning you ready for it you guys have been taught and understand from jeremiah 4 from things that was said about lucifer before his fall that there were cities and nations here before adam and eve was toying with my wife this morning i was telling her about this i'm like first means first i said so if it's first thought i got to go back way back ancient pre-adamic so what does that mean if that is true minimum that we know about the amalekites this is the minimum we know they were despicable i mean it says if you read on it talks about later that they were the ones that that that tormented israel in the wilderness and would come up behind the camp and kill the weak ones and the feeble ones and the stragglers i mean they were they were they were evil right the minimum we know is that there at least minimum they are half breed fallen angel human nephilim raphaem minimum maybe it's even worse because see i believe that pre adam and eve the bible shows that this that the fallen angels are that the angels there were a group of angels that literally took on some type of physical form and were able to have children with human beings later on so they must have had physical capabilities physical in appearance and in
the way anatomy works so very similar beings that look like humans but we're not i know that may be just twisting the brain a little bit but here's the deal that's why i believe that this war that we see between israel and amalek here it is in exodus 17 was so s had such a spiritual component to this warfare that literally and think about this the israelites who went to battle joshua the the soldiers that joshua this godly young leader picked out to go fight amalek i'm sure he picked out his most godly his most holy his most righteous his most dedicated warriors to go fight amalek and this is what blows my mind about this story is that it says that he when moses would put his hands down with the rod down that amalek would begin to prevail against the israelites the people of god come on now do you see what i'm saying what does this show us that in this spiritual war with these witches and these satanists and these people who are using these demonic powers like the amalekites obviously were in this battle if we don't fully hold up and use the authority and the power of the name of jesus and the blood of jesus and lift up the shield of faith and use our words and use the weapons of our warfare if we don't do something they're going to defeat us and if you don't believe me look around you they have taken over see i believe that the seed genetic seed of the nephilim the raphaem whatever you want to call them is still with us today and guess what they believe it they know some of them that are part human and part fallen angel that are still walking among us know that their dna is different we have a battle going on you guys and they're taking over okay now listen to me this is what's important ignorance uh and spiritual warfare is never a good thing okay and i'm speaking of someone who has battled these people and their demons and their fallen angels and their dark powers
for many years i've seen things that most people would not believe but it doesn't matter because if you believe the bible and if you believe there are fallen angels demons the powers of darkness satan witches satan worshipers all of which the bible says there are right and you've got to come up you got to deal with this right i mean i can give the examples folks you know somebody will you want a new testament example just write these down we'll give them to you real quick new testament examples of the apostles confronting witches and warlocks all right here's one for you acts chapter 8 philip went down to samaria began to preach jesus christ crucified resurrected began to pray for the sick people began to get healed the crippled began to get healed and the demon possessed began to get set free and there was a guy there named simon the sorcerer now what's interesting you look up the word sorcerer you know that there's there in in the new testament you'll see sorcerer you'll see sorcery but a lot of people don't realize that sometimes it's two different words one is magus magos and the other is pharmaca yes one means magician one who utters and mutters spells and curses and incantations who uses magical powers even it even if you break down the word magos and you go to its root word it means oriental scientist as well but someone delving in alternative medicine and occult power magic okay and then it's interesting pharmaca sorcery used the word in english but pharmacao means actually means medicine that claims to have supernatural powers that it doesn't really have like essential oils all right now are you with me everybody with me where was i right there what is this what scripture acts 8. so we see him say there in acts 8 that what simon the sorcerer had bewitched the people of samaria he had so much demonic
magic powers that they it says were in awe of him they are were amazed and astonished and said this man must be the great power of god all right and because of this it says that the people of samaria regarded him as a great one right so this man had the influence of an entire region he influenced the entire region of people with his demonic power but then we know that it says he believed the gospel right when he saw what philip was doing and then we have this confrontation later between simon and and peter when peter exposes that his heart's not right he's still in bondage and church history tells us that simon magus went on to become one of the greatest opponents of the church okay using his influence and his demonic power to try to turn people away so that's acts chapter eight we have that example then we have acts chapter 13. paul and silas and john mark they go down and they're they they meet up with this guy named sergius paulus and paul's trying to lead sergius paulus to the lord but there's a sorcerer there illimas and it says he's a sorcerer a magician a witch a warlock who is trying to turn sergius paulus away from from jesus and from hearing the gospel and paul gets a little angry paul says you child of the devil you you're going to be blind not seeing the sun for a season and god smote him with blindness i would say that's a pretty physical and spiritual confrontation that went on right there between paul and elimus it was so intense that poor little john mark couldn't handle it and left his little weak constitution and weak emotions couldn't handle that kind of warfare all right then there's acts chapter 16. paul's preaching teaching says a girl possessed with the spirit of divination followed paul and silas in his group day and night saying these men are servants of the most high god would show us the way of salvation right but it was a spirit of divination she was literally if you look at the word it's it's misleading a little bit but if you look up the word in the greek it says python but it means pythian she was a pythian medium
and there was a place where these mediums met up and there was a main place it was called the oracle of delphi and kings and leaders and all kind of people would go there to get prophecies and get their fortunes read and get the blessing of this demonic witch at delphi and it was usually one witch one main witch who was the main oracle but she had all these priestesses around her that she was training and this girl was one of them she was a pythian trainee literally oh and she was dedicated to be never be married which is where the nun thing comes from that's also where holy water comes from acts chapter 16. they they had a little stream there that they claimed that the water was holy all that stuff in the catholic church all comes from divination and paganism okay but anyway she's following paul and she's saying these men are servants of the most high gosh which show us the way of salvation she's saying what's right but paul says it says he's grieved in his spirit his spirit is unsettled something is wrong and what she was trying to do was play like she was a christian play like she was a true prophet she was going to infiltrate paul's ministry and then contaminate people with her demonic spirits and paul finally discerned what she was and he cast the demon out of her that spirit of divination and she had to run away she's going to lose her powers caused a big stink but see folks this is new testament i could give you more this is new testament christianity paul confront acts chapter 19 he had to confront these forces these spiritual forces in ephesus where they worship diana and paul made a statement in first corinthians 15 he said i fought with beast at ephesus what's he talking about fighting with beast i'll let y'all figure that one out first corinthians 15. he said i fought with beast at ephesus he said what does it profit me he was having the argument about the dead writing was the prophet me of the dead right now i fought beast at ephesus he was talking about the spiritual battle and the forces that he fought there all right now hear what i'm saying i'm going to try to close this out this is what i'm getting to whether you want to believe it or not there are witches satanists luciferians illuminati people wiccans people in all levels of witchcraft pagan worship satan worship

alby on outside the big saint bernard is coming up to our window which is right by the front and he never does this but he's standing there at the fence and i'm looking out and nancy looks out nobody out there and he's standing out there growling this is right after this he's standing out there growling at something animals are sensitive to these things that time you can always tell when it seems like your your household is being bombarded with chaos and confusion and sickness and accidents when it just all of a sudden it just becomes kind of unusual and overwhelming a lot of times you don't even know it it's usually around the full moon time that's when their incantations are supposed to be fulfilled at their peak for a lot of them but these people are sending word curses at you they're sending incantations i can read some of them it's quite quite amazing i want them but they're sending these words against you whether you know it or not and so what i advise you to do in your spiritual warfare first of all you need to know you need to bind the devil and bind demons in jesus name say i bind the spirits of divination witchcraft i bind demons of death accidents injury sickness division strife i bind these demons and spirits sin against me by witches in jesus name i break their curses their incantations and their spells i broke them off of me in jesus name you hear what i'm saying i get real specific sometimes and within satanism they have a ritual called a destruction ritual they they do rituals inside of pentagrams and hexagrams they do rituals and incantations with candles i break them in jesus name i say i'll break every pentagram curse candle curse cage curse death curse i break it off of me in jesus name folks you have to do this this is you stepping up to the plate and using the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit in the fight you hear what i'm saying now i'm talking about this morning just about dealing with attacks of witchcraft you're going you're see a lot of people out there they just don't realize they're facing this stuff there's a lot of christians if you're truly born again you're gonna you're facing these attacks and these curses and these spells and these and this witchcraft power this demonic power is being focused at you and sent to you by these people
and you're dealing with it whether you accept it or not now i'm not telling you doing this will make every day a friday like you know joel osteen says but i'm telling you that you can stop a lot of the enemy's attacks if you will put some actions with your faith and quench the fiery darts of the wicked i'm going to show you david described this we'll give you one more passage all right because david described this go to psalm 55 please you but i'm going to say this while you're turning to psalm 55 i just want to say if you do nothing in the realm of spiritual warfare you're like a soldier stepping in the battle and doing nothing you're going to get you're going to get taken down you're like a boxer getting in the ring you're doing nothing you will be taken down now i may get deeper there's there's a lot of things i have to tell you all about occult poisoning you're like what is that that's for another day all right y'all with me i'm turning there psalm 55. david describes this spiritual war now listen to it let's read it from verse 1. david's praying to the lord he says give ear to my prayer oh god and hide not thyself from my supplication attend unto me and hear me i mourn in my complaint and make a noise why why is he mourning why is he struggling he says it's because of the voice of the enemy do you hear that because of the voice of the enemy because of the oppression of the wicked for they cast iniquity upon me and in wrath they hate me now folks you hear this david is saying there are people who are speaking things with their voice that's bringing oppression into my life and this is how strong the oppression was anybody ever felt like this he said the oppression was so strong he said verse 4 my heart is sore pained within me and the terrors of death are fallen upon me fearfulness and trembling are come upon me horror hath overwhelmed me and then he said oh and he said oh that i had wings like a dove for then i would fly away and be at rest
folks you ever felt like that look what he says he said i would fly he said then i would low then i would wander far off and remain in the wilderness i would hasten my escape from this windy storm and tempest destroy o lord and divide their tongues for i have seen violence and strife in the city day and night they go about it on the walls there of mischief also and sorrow in the midst wickedness is in the midst thereof deceit and guy will depart not from her streets do you see this he's talking about their words destroy lord their tongues what is david is saying here now he didn't back then there wasn't he didn't have this revelation of understanding how to fight these things he would just cry out for god's help but in the new testament through the name of jesus because of the cross and the resurrection of jesus because of his righteous blood his holy blood that was spilled on the cross it was poured out for us it broke the power of satan to give us authority to actually resist the devil and he has to flee from us to bind the devil and and destroy his household and his works i love it for this purpose was the son of god manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil notice it says might jesus uh you know we talked about this the other day we got these old old pentecostal preachers i got the victory while they're getting their head beat in no jesus got the victory jesus overcame sin he overcame death he rose from the dead he overcame now through him we can overcome but we have to walk it out we have to learn we have to do we have to that's why jesus said in my name you will cast out devils he didn't say i'm gonna do it for you in my name you cast them out that's why he said first bind the strong man then you spoil his house well how do you do that how do you bind a spirit that you can't see well you're not going to go out to lowe's and buy some chains and some ropes you're not going to bind them that way so he's by your words remember we go all the way back to the beginning death and life is in the power of the tongue so you say i bind the spirit of lust attacking me i bind the demon spirit of deception i bind the demon spirit of fear i bind these spirits in jesus name i command them to go in jesus name isn't it awesome that now we can submit to god james 4 7 we can submit to god resist actively fight against the devil he will flee from us
but sit there and do nothing what happens if you sit there and do nothing get your head beat in right i know this may sound strange but god has called you to fight witches they're fighting you i assure you and sometimes the battle can get so look at david said the battle was so intense he said my heart is sore pain terror fearfulness trembling horror i wish i could run away from this anybody fell and felt like you could you wish you could run away from the battle from the torment from the oppression from the darkness no god didn't call you to run away he called you to stand in jesus name and make the devil run away amen this is what i'm talking about and you got to understand you're dealing with people who it's not just the forces of darkness they are focusing their words their human spirit power and sending demons at you with their stuff so you're going to have to actively fight against it if you want to win but this is not a game you know i had a satanist come up to me one time and she said these words to me she said we know you're a real christian because we have cursed you we have tried to kill you with the most powerful spells and incantations that we have and they don't work we have sent people in the flesh to shoot you dead with a gun and they cannot do it one was literally blinded and knocked to the ground who was trying to shoot me one time you know how i know that because i was talking to this satanist one day and god gave me a word of knowledge in vision form and i saw the entire scene play out my head like a movie and i told her what day it was where it was where it happened in the road and everything and you know what she said
how could you know that the only people who knew about that hit were the people in the satanic coven that she was in i said well did the guy live by the way what did he make it through yeah he lived that's that's good maybe he'll come to jesus this is a real battle you guys and it's only going to get more intense in the days ahead there will be people who come to harm you because they are driven by evil spirits by satan and his demons and you're going to have to bind those demons in those people and they will be hindered from harming you this is real you know the devil keeps you know the devil keeps telling me this one little lie my see he always lie to you try to put fear in your head about different things doesn't work with me real well but lately he's been you know he's always going to try so lately oh every so often this overwhelming thought will be pushed into my head and he'll basically tell me someone's going to walk up and shoot you because i'm making a lot of enemies all over the place simply by preaching the word of god but you know what i tell them how devil has been tried several times one time they actually got the shots off one time three guys got out of their car at a church in montgomery very large church with people around me i had witnesses so i'm not lying three guys got out of their car with masks on and pointed rifles at me to kill me couldn't do it couldn't pull the trigger got shot at yep by the pond near our house bullets went by my head but i'm still breathing i share this this is this this is going to get more and more real in the days ahead and if you don't think so look at what's happening in the middle east christians are being captured they're being beheaded they're being shot they're being stabbed to death hacked to death but then you'll hear these miracle stories how this one escaped and that one got out of it and this one got out of it
some will be marked some of us will be martyrs i'm not saying we won't be martyrs there won't be martyrs but it doesn't mean all of us going to be you can stop some evil you have great power and authority in you in jesus name amen he's given us the rod like moses had he's given us that behold luke 10 19 behold i give unto you power tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy nothing shall by any means hurt you you have authority and power against all of satan's forces but you have to do something you have to speak the word of god you have to bind the devils you have to resist the devil you have to command them to leave you to go from you in jesus name you have to fight you have to put on armor of god tell people all the time just like you okay you know you're pregnant you're gonna have a baby the devil tries to come in and talk to your head say you're going to have complications or you're going to have you're going to lose the baby or you're going to have a problem you're going to have a problem in childbirth or the baby's going to be a preemie or this is going to happen that's going to happen and what you need to say is what the word of god says no bible says i will be delivered in childbirth my the fruit of my womb is blessed satan i bind you i rebuke you go in jesus name i will not take this fear doubt unbelief i am blessed of god i will make it through pregnancy and the delivery because i'm blessed and i plead the blood of jesus over my child and i bind the demons of death and murder and sickness and anything that will try to come and harm my child i bind you demons i break every curse off of me see this way you fight this you don't sit there and just take it and do nothing you'll be depressed miserable and they end up having panic attacks a lot of people out there just like that and instead of fighting the demons off they're taking you know xanax and paxil and zoloft and or jack daniels whatever i don't know you don't need jack you need jesus amen there's one for you there you go no jack just jesus let's pray father in heaven make your people warriors make your people understand lord that
you've given us weapons of warfare that must be used against the forces of darkness now father the people that come against us the witches the satanists we don't curse them we bless them we pray that their eyes will be opened when their forces and their powers and their demons are defeated we pray that their eyes will be opened and they'll come to know jesus as their lord and their savior and they'll be saved and their sins will be washed away we want them to go to heaven we don't want them to be cursed or to die or to go to hell we don't want that for them we don't want them to be deceived by satan and follow the antichrist we don't want that for any witch or satanist we pray that their eyes will be opened that they will be shown that the powers that they're fooling around with are dark and evil and want to destroy them and take them to an eternity in hell so lord we pray that our enemies we bless our enemies right now that their eyes would be open that they would see the love that you have for them god that you are willing to forgive them even if they participated in in human sacrifice and animal sacrifice and sexual perversion and lord that you're willing to forgive their sins and wash them away and save them from the power of satan and translate them to a relationship with the lord jesus christ the lord take us your saints and us understand we're not going to accept their curses their spells their incantations their demons sent we are going to bind them and break their curses and spells and resist them and rebuke them in the name of jesus christ and we will win in this battle whether they put stuff on our front doors or lay sacrificed animals in our yard or put ley lines and curses around our property lord we will anoint our property with oil and pray over it and break those things we'll anoint our houses and and bind the demons that have come in we'll we'll sanctify ourselves or we'll cleanse ourselves and quit giving place to the devil into demons lord let this get in our hearts today in jesus name this day my people there are many of you that have looked in the eyes of a demon and know not what you see prepare yourselves get in my word seek me and i will show you that you can stand against the enemies that come against you you can defeat them in my name
