what you want lord you want us to love you with all of our heart soul mind and strength lord you want us to demonstrate that love you said if if we loved you we would obey you lord lord it's not just words that come out of our mouth but do we prove it with our lives and lord we're grateful lord that you are a god that when we do sin when we do fall short you've said that if we would confess our sins you would be faithful and just forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness lord you are merciful and good and patient and kind and forgiving and we thank you lord that you are the one true god we worship you this morning and lord we thank you we choose this morning also lord to to come before you and take communion and lord that is another time of of intimate fellowship with you and we we thank you for that it's in jesus name we pray amen and amen um yeah you go ahead karen i was going to get kevin but kevin's got his lap full so but we can [Music] pass out the communion elements and while she's doing that i will turn to the scripture first corinthians chapter 11 you don't have to turn there as you'll be holding what you got there communion is an important thing um really i could probably say that we don't do it enough and maybe uh you guys can help me remember that we need to do this more often but i want to say this about about communion of course we as protestants view it very differently from catholics we view this as a symbol the bread is a symbol of jesus body it's a symbol the the juice or the wine is a symbol of
his blood and jesus said that we should do this in remembrance of him we don't believe it literally becomes the body of jesus and or the blood of jesus or that it can be worshipped or anything like that and that's an important difference that that is one of the reasons for the entire protestant reformation was that that is a form of idolatry and that's not what jesus meant this to be but having said that i want to say this i do believe that when we obey the scriptures that there's power in that and there's also something about and i'll read it here in a second about that if you take this bread or this cup unworthily that you eat and drink damnation to yourself and literally paul told the corinthian church that because some of them were in sin and were dealing with things in their lives that when they took communion in an irreverent manner like that that they were they were some of them were sick and some of them had died prematurely that's how serious this is and that is another reason i'll say this why i don't do it very often because i'm not into getting folks killed okay i think sometimes some churches do it too often and it becomes too much of a ritual you know it's something you need to think about and we're going to bow our heads for a moment before i read this passage and we take communion but i just want you to take a moment and as the bible says in ii corinthians it says examine yourself and if there's anything that you need to confess to god and you need to ask him to forgive you of i would do it before you take communion it's that serious so let's bow our heads and you don't have to say it out loud but just examine your heart ah god we are grateful that we serve a god that forgives sins and then lord you just want your people to be humble enough to acknowledge them and to repent and we thank you lord for the forgiveness
and the cleansing of the blood of jesus and what it means that god this this communion is is just represents so many things that that you took on a human body when you didn't have to god became flesh and dwelt among us lived a sinless life that symbol and this unleavened bread the bread without any leaven representing your sinless life your perfect spotless lamb that you are that you became for us you allowed yourself to be nailed on a cross and took upon yourself the sins of every man woman boy and girl forever and all time you made the way you went down into hell and got the keys of hell and death you rose from the dead and lord this communion means so much only it only through the blood of jesus is there forgiveness of sins not through muhammad or buddha or mary or anything else only the blood of jesus christ god in the flesh and so lord we acknowledge that today the spirit of antichrist will not acknowledge that jesus christ god came in the flesh so lord we just worship you right now and we thank you that we are cleansed and forgiven and that if we have fallen away or fallen down that we can get back up and that today right this moment we can make a new start of walking with you it's in jesus name and i'm going to read this first corinthians chapter 11 verse 23 he says paul's speaking to the corinthian church and to us he says for i have received of the lord that which also i delivered unto you that the lord jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread and when he had given thanks he broke it and said take eat this is my body which is broken for you this do in remembrance of me after the same manner also he took the cup and we need sup saying the this cup is the new testament in my blood this do ye as oft as you drink it in remembrance of me for as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup you do show the lord's death till he come and whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the lord but let a man examine himself and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup for
he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to himself not discerning the lord's body for this cause many are weak and sickly among you and many sleep or are dead for if you would judge if we would judge ourselves we should not be judged and then he goes on to say wait for one another so right now i want you to take the bread and we've already broken it and lord we ask you to bless it and we do what you say to do we take any in remembrance of you we thank you lord the only way man could be redeemed was for you to take on a body a human body we're grateful for the body of the lord jesus christ lord in like manner you said this is the cup the new testament in your blood so lord we take this in remembrance of you you may drink praise you lord praise you lord hallelujah well amen um somebody want to you can grab these and there you go amen praise god i don't know about y'all but it was like before the service started this morning i was feeling a bit oppressed and i was feeling attacked and a little bit but ever since we sat down i just felt the presence of god here something's up amen something good will everybody get their bibles because we're gonna get started well i was praying about this last night and all you know i pray about during the week all week long lord what do you want for sunday morning and i'm not just asking about uh what do you want for um [Music] you know not just the message or what
should i teach but also you know what do you want for praise and worship what do you want out of the service do you want the gifts do you know so i'm always asking the lord i never know what he's going to say sometimes he tells me ahead of time and sometimes he tells me the night before and sometimes he tells me the morning and sometimes he tells me right before i get started so this one kind of came around late but i felt like god wanted me to continue um with our the end times thing because a week ago and he had to remind me of this there was a scripture that he laid on my heart to share with you guys and to go through a little bit but because of the other things the dealing with the the you know end time prophecies and showing some of those specific things and then dealing with the rapture last week there was just no way to get into this so but i still always leave it open because i've had god had me have me start on series teaching series and in the middle say no i want you this sonny to do something else and then kick you know pick it back up you know later on but anyway i felt like the lord wanted me to continue so this morning i don't know exactly what i'm going to call this but what the lord spoke to me what i heard him say to me was was end time mindsets and what he was saying was wrong mindsets that people are have now in the end times um and and we're going to go through some of the scriptures on them and trust me this morning i'm not going to be we're not going to take a long time i just want you to see some of these mindsets and to not let these wrong mindsets creep into your head and into your heart and become your own okay the tendency is with the society the way it is in people and even many churches and many christians and the devil and every all these pressures that we have and all these influences try to press us into these mindsets that are not biblical that god doesn't want us to have and i just want to say this being knowing by the prophecies that we've studied and knowing that we are close to the second coming of jesus christ and all the judgments and all the things that he said coming to pass we don't want to find ourselves in these mindsets and i'm just probably going to cover basically seven of them this morning but before that i want you to see the definition of the word mindset okay i looked this up just a few minutes ago and if you want to write it down you can i'm going to leave it up here for a minute but the mindset definition and this is from wikipedia um but i i think it uh i think you need to know it because sometimes we just say words and and we need to slow down but he says the mindset definition is this it says in decision theory and general systems theory a mindset is a set of assumptions
and that's a key phrase there a mindset is a set of assumptions methods or notions held by one or more people or groups of people which is so established that it creates a powerful incentive within these people or groups to continue to adopt or accept prior behaviors choices or tools in other words this a mindset is a is a set of assumptions that resist change that's why it says down there and i i you know was a longer definition but it says and it is often difficult to counteract its effects so a mindset is a set of assumptions or ideas theories things we get in our head that uh and and they're not just one there there are a bunch of different things that form how we what we believe how we're going to act and everything else and let me just say this about everything in scripture okay what you believe about scripture what you believe about the end time prophecies what you believe about every subject in the bible what you believe about it will affect how you act and how you live i mean it's just bottom line what you believe is the foundation of everything and everything else springs out of that i mean i can prove that's why i'm so adamant against the once saved always saved no matter how you live doctrine and and idea or what i believe is a false doctrine because that belief will influence and affect how you live your life and so that's why it's very important um we're going to we're going to skip over these two slides and come back i just want to jump on over to the 7 7 wrong end time mindsets okay and that's what we're going to look at and i've got them up here but we're going to go through them one by one um can you everybody see that seven wrong end time mindset i want you to go with me first of all we're going to turn to second peter chapter two now of course for those who will hear this maybe hear this cd or podcast um by itself this has proceeded several weeks of showing very detailed prophecies uh in the bible conferred converging together with with uh current events and and and technology and and things that we know that we are in the last days now am i gonna say do we have five years seven years ten years fifteen twenty years i don't know how it's all going to play out the exact amount of time but i do know and do believe that in the next two three decades these things that the
bible everything the bible says about the end i believe we're going to see come to pass now some people can disagree with me that's fine and dandy but but from my study of the last 24 years i thought it was close 24 years ago i'm more convinced now that it's close and let's just put it this way it's closer now than it was 24 years ago isn't it we at least know it's 24 years closer than it was in 1987 right all right mindset so we know what a mindset is a set of assumptions now i'm going to show you some of the things that the bible warned about that people would be would be mindsets in the end about the end times the second coming the final judgments of god and um the first one is is i'm just going to call unbelief and willful ignorance willful ignorance is a terrible thing but unbelief in in willful ignorance let's look second peter chapter 3 verse 1 now this is the second epistle beloved i now write unto you in both which i stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance that ye being mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandments of us the apostles of the lord and savior knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lust or their own desires and saying where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation for this they are willingly ignorant now i'm going to just stop reading there but he goes on to talk about the it happened in a similar fashion in the days of noah he goes on to talk about how that you know the day of judgment is coming but but here i want you to see this he says that in the last days there will come scoffers okay scoffers walking after their own desires saying where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were how many of you have heard this excuse if you start talking about the end times or jesus coming back or the final judgments of god and you've heard somebody say oh i've heard that all my life or they've been preaching that you know for 2 000 years now and it hasn't happened okay well peter here told us that in the last days as we got there is we got to the end that this would be a mindset and he said they are willingly ignorant now let me just say this and i'm going to be bold anybody who can ignore or not notice the many specific prophecies and signs
in the bible coming to pass they have to either be totally spiritually blind totally spiritually asleep or willfully like i really don't want to know i really don't want to look into it i don't want to know i just want to continue my life as it is right and listen there's always an excuse behind why you want to ignore something in the bible you know adulterers want to ignore the passages on adultery damning them to hell forever the world wants to ignore the teachings on hell because they don't have to deal with it or the judgment the final j they don't want to they don't want to acknowledge those things because in their minds then they got to deal with something okay mindsets are very powerful but this one right here willful oh it's always they've been talking about it for you know centuries and two that is the devil speaking not only to them but through them why to put people at ease to create a false sense of security okay one of the interesting things and you can just make a note of this in first thessalonians 5 one of the things that that paul said about the end he said when they say peace and safety then sudden destruction is about to come on them well have you ever heard any more talk about peace and security and stability wait wait until there's a peace treaty between israel and the arabs and everybody talks about oh there's going to be peace after a war breaks out which is about to happen and then there's a peace treaty and everybody's going to be talking about oh now we have entered into a new era of peace and safety that only means sudden destruction is around the corner but you got to be careful you don't fall into this oh they've been saying it for many years and ignore be willfully ignorant and ignore like for instance we've talked about israel becoming a nation in 1948 the mark of the beast everyone receiving a mark in their hand or for it that'll be able to control financial transactions worldwide we've never been at a point where that was even possible until the microchip and the computer and the internet and satellites but we're there now so to ignore that is to be willfully ignorant that we are we are in the time that the prophet spoke about the second one and this is the one the lord spoke to me last week about that he wanted me to share with you but but turn to luke chapter 12.
and this is where many christians are finding themselves right here luke chapter 12 denial and denial saying oh yeah i believe that jesus is coming and i i believe that there'll be an end time judgments and all but it's a long way off it's a long way off we don't know when and then they misuse and misquote scriptures like you know it's not given to us to know the times and the seasons you ever heard that we're not going to know we're not supposed to know really that's taken way out of its context you know why that's what jesus told his disciples in the first century in acts when they asked him about when all these things were going to happen he says not for you to know that right now but in first thessalonians 5 he said that we would be children of the light and we would know we would not be caught off guard the true christians who are watching who know their bibles and are watching what's going on we are not going to be in dark it's not going to come on us as a thief but see again people take things out of context so that they can create or prove that their state or mindset of denial is okay but let me show you what happens when you get in a state of denial about this is a long way off luke chapter 12. let's see we're gonna skip down to verse okay we'll just start with uh verse uh we'll just go to 41 jesus told the parable of the watchful servants and then peter asked him something about it and peter said unto him lord are you speaking this parable to us or to everyone so so peter was like i want some clarification this is luke 12 41 verse 42 and the lord said unto him who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his lord shall make ruler over his household to give them their portion of meat and due season blessed is that servant whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing of a truth i say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has but any of that servants say in his heart my lord delayeth is coming and shall begin to beat the men servants and the maidens and to eat and drink and be drunken the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him in an hour when he is not aware and will cut him asunder and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers where unbelievers going revelation 21 7-8 makes it very clear unbelievers do not go to heaven it's the lake of fire for all eternity so he says here peter's saying lord are
you speaking this just you know to us or to everyone and jesus clarifies it he says i'm speaking to servants who are feeding my household if you look that up literally it means ministers of the gospel even okay and he says if the servant if the servants being faithful and feeding his his household meat and he's faithful in doing that when when the lord comes gonna make him ruler over all that he has he says but if that same servant who what who been preaching and teaching and feeding the sheep says in his heart my lord delaith is coming denial it's a long way off we don't know when let me tell you what that mentality does is what happened to this fellow it says he begins to beat the men's servants of the main what's that mean begins to mistreat people doesn't care how he treats people and then to eat and drink and be drunk and to eat and drink everybody has to eat and drink what this means is he doesn't fast anymore and he's getting drunk he's getting careless and he's getting sinful so this mindset is very dangerous to say huh my lord delaying is coming it's a long way off i got plenty of time maybe you do maybe you don't but don't be in denial about what's happening around you just the other day and i posted this on my on facebook yesterday but like the unrest in egypt and what's going on in egypt right now and how they're looking you know the people are sick of the government that's been in power for 30 years and they're looking to almost to overthrow it it's probably going to happen but president mubarak to try to cling to his power turned off cell phone service and the internet so that people could not communicate don't think that can't happen here don't think in one day you can pick up your phone it's not working and the next day and you will go over to the computer and you can't log on to the internet and you can't communicate and listen before anybody figured it out what happened the military could move into the streets and and declare martial law and and that's it so don't don't think it happened in in germany pre-world war two germany is exactly how hitler took over a little bit at a time so don't think anything's possible or not possible denial turn to matthew 24 love for god growing cold but there's a reason why in matthew 24.
and boy this one right here this one is affecting your mind more than you know and its purpose is to make your love for god to grow cold but i'm going to show you matthew 24 go down is and this is all of course in the context matthew 24 you guys ought to know this by now is about the end times and jesus talking about the signs of his coming the end of the age but he gets down to verse 12 and he says be and because iniquity or sin and injustice shall abound the love of many shall wax cold now here's what's powerful here he says because iniquity shall abound let me put that in modern language because sin is so rampant and common the love and here's what's interesting the word love here in the greek is agape which only a christian can have the only way you can have agape love it says is the holy ghost has to shed that love abroad in your heart otherwise you don't have the true love of god in you remember jesus or john said love not the world either things that are in the world if any man love the world the love of the father is not in him okay you can be a person the love of god is not inside of bottom line though it says because it becomes so kind let me give you an illustration what i'm saying um you got you got every television show every movie ever i mean people at work people at school always talk talking about homosexuality now like it's common and acceptable thing everybody thinks it's acceptable to sleep with a boyfriend or girlfriend on a regular basis i mean sin around us is abounding violence and abortion and all these things are so rampant around us that if we are not careful if we're not very careful because it is so common we begin to accept some of it and the moment we begin to accept things that god doesn't accept is the moment that we are deceiving ourselves and our love for god is going to start growing cold this is why he says here and because he says but he that endure the next verse but he that shall endure to the end shall be saved let your love for god grow cold simply because everybody's doing it well how many people drink or start doing drugs or start sleeping around or compromise with pornography or whatever because everybody's doing it i mean how many of them everybody else is doing it i'm not that bad
that you know that that's y'all heard me say this before but that you know is the devil speaking to you it's not that when you hear that about some sin it's not that bad i'm not that bad i haven't killed anybody mindset coming in on you demonic mindset okay number four accepting dead religion go to second timothy boy are we in this uh many in this mindset again all of this too all of these scriptures i'm giving you specifically say are specifically in context of the last days of the coming of the lord i mean they're bad anytime but the context they're in is dealing with this second timothy 3 we're going to read from verse 1. this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come why because iniquity is abounding listen to the list he gives for men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy without natural affection oh boy i could preach on that for a while truce breakers or covenant breakers false accusers incontinent which means unable to restrain from sexual sin fierce despisers of those that are good traitors heady high-minded lovers of pleasures more than lovers of god now this is this is a flow do you see that coming down iniquity abounding he warns you that all kind of sin iniquity and and mindsets are going to be around you but look what he says that these people who are doing these things having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away having a form of godliness but no power my god let me just say this churches are full of people who say they are christians and if you saw them in public they probably got a cross hanging around their neck or in their ears they got bibles in their houses they got crosses hanging from their rearview mirrors in their cars but they have no power in their lives to keep them from being an adulterer or a fornicator or or any different from anybody in the
world and they go to churches where preachers get up and preach on how to deal with stress at work and never preach the gospel of jesus christ that deals with repentance and holiness and obedience and knowing god intimately and being filled with the holy spirit and operating in the gifts and hearing from god and and and and they just they go to churches full just they're satisfied with religion that is dead because it it satisfies that little piece of them that knows i need to be doing better it's basically they're basically trying to deal with their guilt instead of really have power and intimacy with jesus but it's being accepted i mean if they hired me to be the pastor at first baptist church or trinity or almost any church in town give me six sundays and i would have the place emptied out almost because the ones who wanted to keep committing adultery would leave the homosexuals would leave you see what i'm saying why but the ones who wanted god wanted to be filled with the holy spirit wanted wanted to stand for the word they'd stay it'd be a vastly different church i promise you all right accepting dead religion boy we are there and i'll tell you what this is going to lead to too accepting dead religion is going to end up accepting false religion and the one world church and the church and the church that says oh you can all religions lead to god you can worship mary you can worship saint michael you can you can pray to mary you can pray to michael you can pray to buddha you could whatever you want's fine just make sure you got jesus on the list of the rest with the on the shelf with the rest of your idols and we're we're headed there full steam ahead okay i've really already covered this to some degree but number five there's loving pleasure more than god in his truth once you turn second thessalonians we've already seen ii timothy paul said in second timothy loving pleasure more than loving god he repeats this in 2nd thessalonians 2
but i want to read something else about it speaking of the end speaking of the antichrist rising up the the false satanic miracles that are going to be happening i want you to go on down to verse nine he says even him speaking of the antichrist whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved for this cause god shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie that they all might be damned who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness folks if you boy it's dangerous when you do not love the truth of god's word more than anything else jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but his words will not pass away he said the word i have spoken to you will judge you in that day the man shall not live by bread alone but every word that proceeds from the mouth of god god's written word is important to him he said he said in psalms i have magnified my word above my name and yet god says about his name if you take his name in vain you will not be held guiltless he is not fooling around about the word hebrews 4 says that the word is alive and powerful sharper than any two-edged sword david david's king david spoke about it being life and a fountain into the soul and light to his path the word of god is everything and let me say this the moment you don't love what god says and you love something else some other belief some other situation whether it be a relationship or anything else you love it more than what god says you have opened the door not only for yourself to be deceived but for satan to deceive you and the worst of all for god to send the strong delusion but what look what he said because why were they deceived they did not love the truth and because they didn't love the truth it led to pleasure in unrighteousness let me let me say this a person that's in love with god in love with the lord jesus christ hates sin now our flesh i'm going to say this our flesh always will want to sin but the person close to god in love with god loving his truth hates it and does
not want to do it if you find yourself having pleasure with sin and being okay with it and let it going on and on and on and on in your life the love your love for god has grown cold somewhere you love pleasure more than you love god this is a mindset filling christians now in the end times i mean we we got christian pastors and theologians and bible professors saying you know i don't know if i believe all of the bible anymore and god's going to go yep i'm gonna back up and let the antichrist have you and you're gonna think it's great i'm gonna make you think it's great to me that's one of the most frightening warnings in the bible we're almost done two more number six greed greed is collapsing the economy of the united states and i'm going to show you that the bible said in the last days that it would all right turn to turn to the book of james james chapter five this is also from zephaniah actually james is quoting some of zephaniah here but let me read it starting at verse 1 he says go to now you rich men weep and how for your miseries that shall come upon you your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth eaten your gold and silver is cankered and the rest of them shall be a witness against you and you shall eat your flesh as it were fire you have heaped treasure together for the last days behold the hire of laborers who have reaped down your fields which which is of you kept back by fraud do you see that and crieth and cr and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the lord of the sabbath you have lived in pleasure on the earth you have been wanton or covetous you have nourished your hearts as in the day of slaughter you have condemned and killed the just and he does not resist you be patient therefore brethren unto the coming of our lord behold the husband when waited for the precious feud fruit of the earth and has long patience
for for it until he received the early and latter reign be also patient establish your hearts for the coming of the lord draws near but he says here you have heap together treasure for the last days you have defrauded your employees you have exercised fraud and the cry of all of this has come into the ears of the lord think about united states companies that have open factories overseas so that they could pay poor already poor people pitiful wages and use children child labor and things do you not think god has not heard this nonsense the greed in the housing market in government officials and the greed to of banks to give loans that they shouldn't get this greed and this fraud is collapsing our economy and the rich are getting richer and they're storing up the let me tell you something one of the things how many of you seen these commercials on tv about buying gold in these troubled economic times now granted it is wisdom but the bottom line is what is god saying your gold and your silver i don't care how much of it that you have stashed up in the last days will not save you but there it is greed in the last days why we could spend some time on that and the last one terrible wrong mindset is believing lies that are coming out and listen there's some crafty ones but i'm going to give you one here believing lies like the cosmic christ is coming not jesus then we're going to have another person come who is going to be the embodiment of the spirit of christ but it's not jesus christ who walked on the earth two thousand years ago folks that is being preached by some catholic priest by some protestant and even charismatic church leaders that jesus is not really physically returning to the earth to set up his kingdom i it's scary i could name some names like i believe from the associations that rick warren has and the people that he allows to speak in his church and books that he endorses books of people that he endorses believe
this rick warren america's pastor jesus said in acts chapter one when they when when he ascended when he he was here after his resurrection physically flesh and blood bone his his resurrected body he's standing there he's taken up into heaven he ascends into heaven and the angels are standing there beside peter and john and the rest of the apostles and what do the angels say why what are you what are you men of israel gazing at this same jesus will so return in like manner not another jesus not a catholic jesus not not a one world religion behind jesus not a new age jesus no this same jesus who preached on heaven and hell on repentance and righteousness on holiness and obedience the one who went to the cross and and died and rose again for the sins of mankind that jesus is coming back and he said in matthew 24 if they say he's in the desert don't believe it if they say he's in in secret chambers don't believe it basically if anybody tells you guess what all of a sudden cry the christ is here no don't believe it because he said for as lightning shines from one end of heaven to the other he's going to split the skies open and there's not going to be anything hidden about it jesus christ is coming and the bible says when he sets his feet down on the mount of olives there will be a great earthquake that will split the city in three directions jesus christ is coming back to the earth one of the other lies and i'm just going to say this we can we can back up now to one of the reasons is these views there's different views on the book of revelation and on the end times and again this is under under the heading of believing lies about the second coming and i have been appalled at what i've discovered lately but these are the four views let's just look at them real quick and this is what we're going to close with there's four views of the book of revelation and we could say not just the book of revelation but the book of daniel and other end time prophecies there's the spiritual or symbolic view okay and this is people who you people who use this method don't take the book of revelation literally they believe the only purpose of revelation is to teach fundamental spiritual truths that apply to the church throughout history for
example it teaches that believers to overcome and remain faithful to christ in the midst of persecution so basically they believe that the book of revelation is just a bunch of symbolic stuff that represents struggles that we're gonna have on and on and off throughout throughout history junk not true but that's a mindset or a belief a false belief that will influence what they believe about the rest of the bible so that's the spiritual or sabbath then you've got the preterist view and then according to this view most of the prophecies of the book of revelation were fulfilled in the first century during the jewish war and destruction of the temple in 70 a.d therefore do not wait any future fulfillment they believe the antichrist was titus destroying the temple in 70 a.d uh sorry but 70 a.d when the temple was destroyed and 1896 when john wrote the book of revelation when god revealed it to him and he wrote it down years after the fact right another bogus view the third view is the historical view which is similar to the predator view but people who hold this interpretation believe the book of revelation deals with the history of the church from the first century unto modern times in other words they believe the strange images and events described in revelation are the experiences of the church as she goes through history very much like the preterist view people in this camp who believes this tend to fall in what we call kingdom now or or dominion theology which believes that that the church is going to get stronger and stronger and better and better until we take over political systems and governments and economics and everything and and create the kingdom that the church is going to create the kingdom of god on earth and make everything wonderful and then jesus will come back now some of them don't even believe jesus will come back they believe it's going to be a spiritual coming not a physical matter of fact this is what rick joyner of morningstar ministries this is what he believes and i would just like to tear up some of his nonsense but that's in for another day but the last view is the view the futurist view and this is the belief that the book of revelation contains prophecies that will be fulfilled in the end times that there is going to be an antichrist that there is going to be a world government a worldwide money system that there is going to be a mark that these things are literally going to happen now think about that out of the four views there's only one that believes in the literal fulfillment of these prophecies in the future
but these kind of what you believe false beliefs these are mindsets these are wrong mindsets about the end times don't fall into these things i mean just just raise your hand if any of these have you heard or recognized any of these just out in the world among people already in the bible to warn us this is the way people are going to be thinking in the end and here's what blows my mind and i'm just going to share this because this is this just something that stays on my mind sometimes oh you want that definition okay but one thing one thing that just stays on my mind you know it says in luke 17 he says jesus said it like you know la as it was in the days of noah they built they marry they were given in marriage they all things you know he said as it was in the days of lot they planted they they they built houses and and what jesus is saying is the things are going to seem normal people are still going to be getting married and we're having children they're going to be building houses and but these things are creeping like the vines are creeping over and i think sometimes my mind i just get blown that you know yes we're to continue on with life we're not to stop life because of what we believe about prophecy but i don't it just freaks me out sometimes when i think how most people though are continuing life completely blind to the storm on the horizon that's coming no concept and and i will say this this is probably another mindset that people fall into in in believers i can talk about these things and maybe i've talked about these things and we know we know from the scriptures what's coming and there's this sense to get afraid or get doom and gloom or to get um overly worried but the reason here's here's what the shift that's got to happen inside of that and i'm making this shift i mean i think about i don't want i don't want to see america collapse economic collapse i don't want to see that happen i don't want to see the problems that i know are coming and i hate having to talk about them okay but what they make me do on the inside is realize there's coming a time and i mean we should already be there but there's coming a time where we're not going to be able to depend on everything we're used to depending on and we're truly going to have to learn to trust
god in dark impossible situations and be okay be okay if you know what i had plans for my life but maybe that's not gonna happen and be okay be okay when you know what maybe there's not food and water today but god will bring it tomorrow you see what i'm saying be okay about god will be with me whatever i go through and he will help me right so it's all about what's going on up here in the in the gray matter right job of of a preacher is to try to counteract that demonic pressure and mindsets and maybe hopefully this has helped you some go back over these scriptures without me preaching them at you go back over them and say lord you know get them inside of you so that when those voices of the enemy and those voices that the you know people talk in their junk you can go i'm not falling for that right jesus is coming back is it five years is it 10 years is it 15 is it 20 years i don't know exactly i know it's getting close though i'm not going to be asleep i'm not going to be in darkness i know what to look for amen let's pray thank you lord father bless um bless your people lord bless us lord with just more wisdom and revelation and discernment and understanding lord we don't want to fall into any of these mindsets that would cause us to drift away from you or lord i think one of the saddest things that could possibly happen is that a christian walking with you would drift away right before you come back i mean that would be a terrible terrible tragedy even though it is at any time but lord we just pray take this and lord break down every demonic stronghold demonic mindset lies break them down out of people's minds so that they will turn to know the true jesus christ of the bible for lord you are coming back yes in jesus name we pray amen
