forgive me for when i' gone cold Lord we need you Lord we need you how I need you to awaken my [Music] soul yes Lord we worship you God we worship you and we do want to always Lord be aware when we need to return to our first love when we need to get away from all the things so complicated and just truly remember that the day we were born again that we first fell in love with you repented of our sin when you flooded our heart with your peace and forgiveness when our sins were washed away Lord let us never forget the joy of our Salvation Lord that is uh the most important thing that you've done or will do for us you've given us eternal life through your precious blood that was shed on that cross and we are grateful today Lord we are thankful today and Lord as your word declares President we know it's true you rose from the dead on the third day you're alive forever more you have the keys of hell and death we thank you for that Lord we thank you for all you have done and all that you are going to do in this world and in eternity and we thank you and we pray it all in Jesus name amen and amen you may be seated this morning we're missing a few today who knows I don't know did it snow down here it's cold that's snow the devil's dandruff it'll scare the southerners to death yeah half an inch is a snow apocalypse huh issues yes bathroom problems we're pro yep the okay uh I guess it's time to move it's always uh I think it's been a good sign that we might need to be moving on with that and we are we are going to be trying to accomplish that in this next year for sure within this next year so uh do if you have your Bibles this morning I want you to turn with me to 2 King chapter 3 um I'm going to call this today
digging holes you going to understand what that means here in a minute but the Lord is uh he's spoken to me about this particular passage in fact probably around 2007 the Lord had me just studying um Elijah and Elisha for days and days and days and I just kept getting more and more from him Revelation and things that um the Lord was speaking to me through the life of Elijah and Elisha and um how many of you know what Elisha means it's really interesting anybody know everybody's quiet it means god is salvation Isn't that cool God is salvation I had to look it up again I had looked it up years ago but I think it's just interesting there's no accident in in the word of God he didn't waste anything uh every name every word everything that's in here every definition of a place everything is significant um God didn't waste his breath he didn't waste one word and uh so let's read this today and I'm get into explaining why I'm calling this digging holes and you're going to understand that you got to dig holes whether you want to or not I I should have brought I was going to bring my shovel and pickaxe and stuff but I just I'm too tired to go out to the shop and get that this morning um so just imagine a shovel sitting right here or something I won't probably good so I won't swing it right um but now it says this we're going to go to verse one and we're going to read it says now jehoram the son of Ahab began to Reign Over Israel and Samaria the 18th year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah and reigned 12 years and he wrought evil in the sight of the Lord but not like his father and like his mother for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of jeroboam the son of nebat which made Israel to sin and he departed not there from and Mesa king of Moab was a sheep master and rendered unto the king of Israel 100,000 lambs and 100,000 Rams with the wool but it came to pass when Ahab was dead the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel and King jehoram went out of Samaria the same time and numbered all Israel and he went and sent to Jehoshaphat king of Judah saying the king of Moab hath rebelled against me Wil thou go with me against Moab to battle and he said I will go up I am as Thou Art my people as thy people and my horses as thy horses I don't know why Jehoshaphat didn't learn a lesson when he did this with Ahab this is ahab's son but he didn't uh he went anyway and says and he said which way shall we go up and he answered the way through the Wilderness of Edom so the king of is Israel went and the king of Judah and the king of Edom and they fetched a compass of s days journey and there was no water for the hosts and for the
cattle that followed them and the king of Israel said alas that the Lord hath called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab well you can tell where his faith was right it says and but Jehoshaphat said is there not here a prophet of the Lord that we may inquire of the Lord by him and one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said here is Elisha the sh son of shapat who which poured water on the hands of Elijah so he said hey there's a true Prophet here and Jehoshaphat said the word of the Lord is with him so the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him and Elisha said unto the king of Israel what have I to do with thee get thee to the prophets of thy father and to the prophets of thy mother and the king of Israel said unto him nay for the Lord hath called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab and Elisha said as the Lord of hosts liveth before whom I stand surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah I would not I would not look toward thee nor see Thee I like how direct that is but he said but now bring me a Minstrel and it came to pass when he ministered uh the minstrel play the hand of the Lord came upon him and he said thus sayeth the Lord make this Valley full of ditches for thus sayith the Lord ye shall not see wind neither shall you see rain yet the valley shall be filled with water that you may drink both ye and your cattle and your beast and this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord he will deliver the moabites into your hand now we may keep reading this but I just want to stop for a minute and go through some of this um what the Lord really just laid on my heart strong today about this is how the Lord will tell you to do things that are not easy how many you know I know this from working Donnie does fences s you we've all laid foundations digging especially in Alabama Clay after you get past about a foot you're dealing with thick red clay um we have to use pickaxes we have to use uh I have one of those old iron bars that you actually have to break loose ground let's just put this way anybody that digs in the earth it's work and it's hard work um Donnie Said Amen to that right um and you know I was thinking about this and it's just interesting because you know you got a situation here where you have one righteous King and two Wicked Kings that's why Elisha said you know if it were not for Jehoshaphat who was a righteous man and who was serving in the Lord and been obedient and and trustworthy and and everything I mean Jehoshaphat brought Revival to Judah and
that's why he said look if there wasn't if if you didn't have this righteous King here I wouldn't even look toward you or anything but I see I think the Lord had something in mind sometimes he overlooks some of the alliances we have to make if we have a common enemy and the Lord wanted to get rid of Moab more than anything um of course the children of Israel had failed to do that they were supposed to do that when they came into the promised land then Saul failed to do it then David failed to do it um and the Lord was wanting it done but you know it didn't get done the moabites were not too they were not just human beings they were integrated with the Nephilim so that's why the Lord wanted them wiped out so the Lord was like you know what I'm going to give a word to my prophet of what they're supposed to do and they had traveled all this Wai and see you know they obviously had a foolish uh battle plan didn't they because they took all these people all these soldiers and all their horses and cattle with them to provide food for their their soldiers but they ended up in you know in the desert with no water and I've been in the deserts of Israel and let me tell you it's dry and it's miserable and I can tell you you know what real thirst is when you're there you you get so thirsty and I don't know why they didn't think about water you know that's kind of the most important thing to Life water sustains life you can live without food for I don't know about six weeks six to eight weeks before you get into serious condition or die but you can't live without water I think it's only eight days you can live without water so water is very important of course and what does that water represent water represents what the life and power of God the the thing that keeps us going um the the rivers of the holy spirit so these things these were this was serious and he tells them instead of just saying you know hey why don't y'all pack it up and go back home or I'll tell you what I'll just go kill all the moabites for you and you don't even have to do this battle you know the Lord could do that he can do whatever he wants right at times he turned Israel's enemies to fight amongst themselves and kill each other or run away in fear the lord could do anything but instead of doing it all for them what does he do he tells them I tell you what dig a bunch of holes in the ground and I'm going to fill them with water and and you're not even going to see rain just go dig some holes now think about that you're already about to die of thirst in the desert and the Lord says go dig some holes that's the last thing I would want to do in that situation right and this is what the Lord is all
about this is the problem I believe with the American church the church in the west it's that everything is supposed to be easy God's supposed to do everything for you you're not supposed to work it's not supposed to be difficult you're not supposed to suffer you're not supposed to lose sleep or or whatever it may be we've got this idea that serving God is somehow got to fit into our comfortable little lives and God many times will have you stepping way out of your comfort zone to do his will and he doesn't say he's going to make everything easy and smooth even as you obey and do his will you understand digging these holes in the desert just because a prophet said the word of the Lord is dig some holes but the good thing the awesome thing about this story is that they obeyed the word of the Lord and God moved supernaturally and filled those holes with water he saved them now think about it in the process of saving Jehoshaphat and his armies the armies of Judah he also had mercy and saved the armies of Edom and the armies of the wicked son of Jezebel and this is this is part of this story that I think is awesome because when we obey the Lord and do the hard things that he says to do when we are faithful even when it wears us out mentally emotionally physically financially when we stand with him and do what he wants us to do it doesn't just save us God uses that to save the lost and the wicked and the evil as well that's his Mercy when he says that he will pour what the rain on the just and the unjust because he is merciful but he wants to use us to help save them that's what it's all about y'all that's why you have to hear his voice and Obey him that's why you have to study the word of God and live your life according to it because people are watching you and people need you and there's people out there that really unless you obey they will not ever have mercy they will never find the Lord unless you do what you are called to do this is why I emphasize this all the
time Jesus said my sheep hear my voice and they follow me why did he say if you love me obey me why did he ask Peter when he asked him three times do you love me he Jesus answer was then feed my Lambs feed my sheep help my people become what they're supposed to be do what I tell you to do I mean you want to talk about some of the crazy things the Lord told them to do can I just read a couple Matthew 17 24- 27 put that up here if you would think about this right here they came into this place and they were looking at what having to pay their taxes oh my so that's still with us today it I get mad every time I have to go down to the tax office and pay property taxes not because I can't afford it I just believe it's absolutely unconstitutional in America and and it's just a way that the government has used to steal land and property from people but that's just me right but it says when they were come to capernum and uh they that received tribute money tax collectors came to Peter and said does not your master pay tribute or taxes and Peter really should have went to Jesus and asked him said what do we do about this but you know Peter decided as he often did to answer for himself and he said yes and when he was come into the house Jesus prevented him saying what thinkest thou Simon of whom did the kings of the Earth take custom or tribute he said of their own children or of strangers and Peter saith unto him of strangers and Jesus Jesus saith unto him then are the children free notwithstanding lest we should offend them go thou to the Sea cast a hook and take up the fish that first cometh up and when thou Hast opened his mouth Thou shalt find a piece of money that take and give unto them for me and thee that has got to be one of the craziest commands that Jesus ever G I mean can you imagine Peter sitting there he's a fisherman how many fishes he pulled out of that Sea of Galilee and ain't ever been any money in their mouth not one piece of money but he tells the man go fishing not with a net he wanted him to cast a line with a hook there's going to be one fish you catch and when you pull him up there's going to be enough money in his mouth to pay your taxes and
mine and Peter's got to be going that's got to be the strangest thing I've ever heard but I know somebody say but I know when the Lord tells me to do something and it's him he's going to do the supernatural he's going to meet you there he's going to help you when you are doing what he has told you to do specifically and Peter was obeying that and can you imagine I mean I just I would I I used to fish when I had time I caught big old bass and things I loved it right but I've never caught a big old big mouth bass and grabbed him by his little mouth and picked him up and looked in there and found me some gold coins or you know a couple of units of high society nothing just fish guts right but this is what I'm talking about we so limit what the Lord wants to do because sometimes we just think they're things I just can't go there God I can't do it and I remember one time and I've shared this before but I remember one time I was in prayer and it's probably not long after I came back to the Lord it was probably early probably January of 98 when I was in Oklahoma I mean 88 God 98 88 when I was in Oklahoma snow it was snowing H another snow day but I remember praying that day and the Holy Spirit coming over me and this [Music] overwhelming Revelation and sorrow came over me and the Lord said to me if you don't do my will for your life people will be lost for forever so he's telling me if I didn't follow him people would go to hell for all eternity now that's a responsibility that sometimes can be overwhelming but when the Lord says this is what you do son this is what you do see I was still I had just walked away from the modeling career from a part in movies from college and the
plans I had to play football and study to be a medical doctor all those things that I wanted to do with my life the Lord said that's over with I have a plan that's your plan I have a plan now and you know what I said to him I Surrender I can tell you this much I know that when I stand before him I plan to have no regrets not that I did everything perfect nobody will do that that's why we need the blood of Jesus forgiveness help but that I was faithful when he said to do something to go do it to even dig holes in the desert when I feel like I'm about to die see we forget what it says about Moses turn to Hebrews 3 I'm sorry it's not Hebrews 3 what am I talking about Hebrews 10 y'all can tell my brain is tired I'm tired today I'm sorry 11 what am I thinking about verse 24 yeah just a few couple verses here it says by faith Moses when he was come to years refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter choosing rather to suffer Affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt for he had respect unto unto the recompense of the reward and by faith he forsook Egypt not not fearing the Wrath of the king for he endured a seeing him who is invisible see Phar he Moses could have stayed in Pharaoh's house he could have lived in the most luxury and wealth pleasure that the world had to offer at the time he could have had it all in fact he did have it all but the Lord said no son I've called you to save my people and that's what he he he he left he left it all and think about it when all this
went down he was about 40 years old God didn't really start doing stuff the whole thing with him until he was what 80 years old 40 Years of training and humbling and preparing him there's always a training time and that's when you got to do the Little Steps all along the way this is important y'all I can't tell you enough my wife will tell you obeying the Lord last time when I ran for governor of Alabama and still pastoring this church you know in 2 years of traveling this state 880,000 miles crisscrossing it over and over again speaking engagement sometimes three four five in a week in two years so that's what 104 Sundays I missed three I was still here on Sunday morning because no matter no matter what else I'm doing I'm still the pastor of this church and God called me to do this and I will not stop doing this no matter what happens you understand because this is what the Lord told me to do you say but what if you win what if you now you know everybody knows now I'm running for lieutenant governor what if you win what if you have to do that job well I'll do it five days and I'll come do this job I will do both you say well how you going to do that it might be difficult but the Lord will give me the grace to do it amen we have Bible study at the state house or something you know really upset the apple cart right but you obey the Lord you know last time did all that you know people got saved people heard the gospel people sat down and talked to me and I was able to share with them things that if I hadn't have run I wouldn't have been able to I sat down one on-one and shared my testimony with our new Senator Katie Britt we talked about Jesus I've talked to the lieutenant Governor I talked to the Secretary of State I talked to multiple representatives and state senators about
Jesus about being righteous men and women about doing the right thing not the Republican thing or the Democrat thing but the right thing but if I hadn't obeyed God none of that would have happened every step of obedience that you do will open a door that you didn't even know was there see I have no idea what Adventure God has for me this time but I know there's one out here right and really yes it's exhausting and tiring sometimes and you don't want to get up out of bed like I didn't want to this morning but I got up at 5:30 all my body wanted to do my house is cold I got a old house all my body want to do is crawl back in bed when I got up at 5:30 oh I got to get my dogs didn't even get up when I got up but see Americans this is hard for us cuz we think everything's supposed to be be easy quick and easy quick and easy quick and easy and that's not what it's about it's about obedience say well Pastor Dean how do I how do I find out what that is you got to pray you got to fast you got to study this book and you got to be willing you got to be willing to do whatever is necessary and you know what I want to tell you I'm I'm so blessed the Lord has sent me some church family some of them are not here today some of them were there yesterday helping and working hard and I just I'm amazed at what God has done and what he the people he sent to help me with the the church the ministry all the crazy things the Lord has me do and I just I'm just a I'm a blessed man and the next and this adventure is not just it's not just mine that's what's so cool is uh you know even last time my daughter got to see places in Alabama she didn't even know existed I saw places in Alabama I didn't know existed like burnt corn Alabama there is a place called burnt corn there's a CL a place called smudy as well I kid you not I I've been to smut ey Alabama I've been to slap out of course my sister lived there slap out yeah that's some of the crazy names but don't people don't laugh out there
now Georgia y'all got some crazy names of places too so I don't want to hear it and Mississippi so you know we're not the only ones right but this is where Adventures come I mean we wouldn't have this story in here if God hadn't to move supernaturally and gave them a great victory in the battle you see it's when you get out of the boat and start doing things the Lord tells you to do and especially the things that you think when you when you say to yourself there's no way I can do this that's fine good good you're not supposed to do it if it's in your ability to do it yourself it's probably not God that's right right because you want to hear my prayer I pray all the time all the time yesterday this morning a few minutes ago God you've got to help me now I really need your grace and strength I don't have what I need to do this I need you fill me speak to me strengthen me please Lord so I can do what you've told me to do and so I can do it well I don't want to just do it I want to do it well I don't always do it well I'm not real happy with some of the things I said yesterday and I'm going to repent of those things but and apologize because I'm going to go a different a little different direction but sometimes we have to you know repent along the way what's that prophets mock yeah it's in the word yeah prophets do mock it is in the word um I just got to you know I got to be nicer I'm going to try to be nicer little bit anyway huh oh they're off they're going to be off but um going punch a little different way um the Lord though the Lord though I I you know I'm going to tell you I think the Lord's going to tell people and and our church those of you watching list I think if you really are willing to lay down your life and your plans and you know what even if you think well I'm old I can't do anything remember Moses Ministry really didn't kick in until he was 80 think about that God did not get in a hurry and think about this Jesus was here on Earth he was after he was born of the Virgin Mary and then she no longer was a virgin
after that cuz he had more Brothers than sisters via Joseph and Mary so she she did wasn't a Perpetual virgin I'm sorry Roman Catholics but Jesus was on the earth God In the Flesh for 30 years and he was just faithful as a carpenter not one sermon we hear about not one miracle I know the Catholics make up all kinds of stuff but he was just being a human being he was being faithful and you know we we have these images from movies and books and things and paintings but I can tell you this much about Jesus as a man he was not a wimp wrestling with trees and cutting trees and turning them into Lumber and Building Things he was probably a very strong very strong man that had calloused ANS and then the Lord when it was time and there's a time you have to you have to know the time to step and move especially when it's something big you better not just know what to do you have to know the timing to do it you know I thought about and I've shared this I the Lord told me I was going to start fire and Grace Church in 2004 gave me the name told me that's the next Church you're going to start and of course I I of a sudden thought well he's talking about do it now cuz he said it now oh I was wrong cuz I was missing the most important piece of the puzzle that I had to have to even survive and that was my wife back there my wife is a far better Christian than I am oh it's true she makes me a better man she has for 16 years that is the truth I know she doesn't like me say these things but it's true she fussed me out yesterday and I I I I fussed back but she was right she was right I'm not going to go into the details but she was right I admit she was right publicly she was right and I I'm glad she has she did but she has the courage to tell me that was wrong you shouldn't do that I of course argued my point but the Lord had me over the night
and the morning like n she was right but you need people in your life like that see that's one of the truths we get from this story is if it wasn't for Jehoshaphat there a righteous one a one that's going to say hey we need we need we need to do what the Lord wants to do we need a real Prophet here we need a word from the Lord we don't need to do our own thing anymore it's not working that's why you need to be around godly people spiritual people so you can get Good Counsel good advice those things are so vitally important important yes we got to go hang out with the unsaved and the lost and the wicked and we got to be around those folks but that can't be our fellowship we've got to have fellowship with Godly righteous spiritual people that that we are humble enough to go let them you know correct us it takes humility to receive correction and sometimes it doesn't always the humility doesn't always hit immediately right but humility all of us it doesn't matter if we're in leadership or we're not in leadership we got to be able to take it some correction from the Lord or God may use somebody to bring correction to us and it's painful at first it stings at first but if we'll humble ourselves but when right and we can keep going we can stay on the right path so I don't want to get off course what did what did Paul say at the end of his life he said I have finished my course I have finished the race I love that he said I have stayed on the course that God gave for my life and I finished it that's what you want to be able to say whenever it's your day to meet the Lord face to face you better be able to say I finished my race I did God what you gave me to do I kept my body under subjection matter of fact go to First Corinthians chapter N9 the last few verses there I love this right here I remember one of my pastors 30 years ago preaching this it was he his message was entitled run to win and how do you do that how do you run this race to win it he tells you real simple he says right here verse 24 1 Corinthians 9:24 know ye not that they
which run in the race run all but one receiveth the prize so run that you may obtain or run to win and every man that striveth for the Mastery is temperate in all things now they do it to obtain a corruptible Crown but we an Incorruptible I therefore so run not as uncertainly but so fight I not as one that beateth the air but I keep my body or keep under my body and bring it into subjection lest that by any means when I have preached to others I myself should be a cast away he's saying I've got a race to run I'm on a course and to do what God's called me to do he say it's going to take great Temperance and discipline he said just like somebody who has to it's going to run a marathon they can't just decide oh I'm going to run a marathon today if they haven't been training being tempered in what they eat how they live their lives and then and if they haven't prepared themselves then they're not going to be able to do it and he says now they're they do people do all that kind of temperate self-control and discipline to win a corruptible Crown to be the Boston Marathon Champion he says but we are to run this race to obtain The Incorruptible Crown what Crown is he talking about James chapter 1 the crown of life that God will give to the man and the woman that endures Temptation right and the crown of life I promise you that's one Crown you don't want to miss you kind of need that one other ones are going to be you know just bonuses but the Crown of Life everlasting life eternal life that's one you want to keep that's the one you need the most and he says if you want this Incorruptible Crown you got to keep your body and bring it into subjection meaning you can't let your flesh run wild live in sin do whatever you want to do you have to control yourself and he's talking about too you don't just get to do anything you want look there are things Paul said there are things that I could do that are lawful for me to do but they are not expedient what was he meaning by that he's saying I could do this this and this and it wouldn't be bad necessarily but it wouldn't be helping me do what God wants me to do it wouldn't be helping me stay on course that's why really the theme of Skyfall this past year was stay the course there's going to be so many things to tempt you to pull you to the side to put you in fear so that you doubt God's Supernatural ability to take care of you or provide for you you know in the the word the lord gave me for 2025 that it would be a year of chaos but do not be dismayed just a
few days later is when the fires began I mean it's absolutely precedented what has happened in California now whatever the cause whether it's direct energy weapons it's man-made it's arson or the Judgment of God it's whatever whatever's going on there that place is wicked La is wicked it's been Wicked for a long long time just ask S Wicked dark last time he went there remember last time y'all went said we don't ever want to go back again they were just dealing with all kind of demonic attacks and demonic manifestations and just crazy stuff in LA and I got friends who live there I've told friends that I have Liv in get out I've been telling one guy to get out of Hollywood and La for years Danny you know I've been telling you I hope your house doesn't burn you got to get out of there I told Sam years ago the one that sent me the first Flat Earth biblical cosmology I told Sam I mean he worked for Casey KAS and all he knew he knew everybody and he got saved but he kept hanging out in Hollywood I told Sam you got to leave before they kill you and guess what hit and run on purpose severe brain injury took years to recover he will tell you he probably told some of you when he was at Skyfall Dean told me for years to get out of Hollywood or they were going to try to kill me and he said I almost didn't make it cuz he delayed there's a lot of people now wishing that they left it's bad I I've I've never seen I mean I've seen fires I have never seen anything like this and they ran out of water because of stupid policies and stupid leadership and not just stupid I think most of it's on purpose and which even makes it more evil but this is only the beginning of what's coming in 2025 this is just the tip of the iceberg and you can't let fear throw you off course you understand nothing how many of these soldiers in their armies could have said you know what there's no water here we're going to die we're retreating we're going home but in this story in Second Kings 3 nobody left which just amazing they all stayed and then they tell him to the Lord said dig holes in the ground and they do it I'm just shocked that they obeyed something very difficult and God filled it with water and then here's what he did he made the
waters look like blood so he thought there the the enemies the mo thought there' been a massacre see here's another thing when you obey the Lord he will confuse your enemies they won't know what to do with you they don't they won't really know understand what in the world is going on what is he doing what is she doing that makes no sense I don't understand it'll throw them in to Total confusion which is why a lot of times they lash out at you when you're trying to obey because they're totally confused by it's like the Lord hits them with this this wind of P you don't even understand my servant they're obeying me and sometimes even when you obey he will make your enemies even become peaceful with you that's really fun when that happens it's neat when it happens I've had some enemies come to me and apologize repent I've had enemies become friends but you got to keep doing what God tells you to do and notice what it said about Moses he kept doing it even with the reproach coming at him I mean you're going to have people talk bad about you espec esally your family oh start start obeying the Lord they want to commit you to a looney bin right oh what is he doing what is she doing I remember my family when I I told him I was going to Israel in 1988 what yeah I'm I'm buying a oneway ticket I don't know how long I'll be there see you my parents were like what are you doing like what the Lord tells me to do I love y'all but I got to go right and what an adventure it was people got saved preached the gospel all over Israel preached the gospel in the garden tomb where Jesus rose from the dead and a and a atheist got saved because of that moment how how cool is that had I not obeyed to go to Israel that wouldn't have happened had I not obeyed to go to Israel I wouldn't have had an Israeli security agent in Paris in tears as I shared the gospel with the Jew first in tears when I quoted Isaiah 53 to her and said Jesus is
Jehovah tears running down her face if I hadn't obeyed I wouldn't have that story to tell you would I I wouldn't have the story to tell you of the Lord when it was time to go back there were no flights there were all kind of problems going on the in the first Insurrection you know the Philistine the Palestinians which is really Philistine uh Uprising was happening people were getting shot it was it was it was crazy there you couldn't even get a flight out and we're there praying and I get heavy and I said something's wrong 10:00 in the morning the Lord tells me we had been to the travel agent they said the only tickets we can get you standby tickets and you have to get them when we tell you there were no cell phones we had no pagers there was nothing and we get up the next morning she say come at 4 P p.m. got up the next morning 10:00 I'm praying get heavy pray in tongues for a little bit holy spirit says go to the travel agent now 10:00 a.m. we run to the travel a open the door she's on the phone I got two tickets to Atlanta for $350 each and we had $1,000 to get back home and we said we'll take them right now she and she said how in the world did you know to come here now and we told her here's another Jew Jesus the Messiah told us to come here you know she had to be thinking about that the rest of the week right wouldn't have that story to tell you and I could go on and on and on I have these adventures and these Miracles and these people getting saved and delivered from demons and getting healed and seeing God just do things Supernatural because I would do what the Lord said to do even if everybody thought I was crazy so everybody thinks I'm crazy now I get hell because of what I believe about creation that I actually believe what the Bible says but I got three words for him I don't care I'm right you're wrong the Bible's right and I don't care who you are Danny stockner or anybody else will McDuffy or whatever his name is I don't care Bible is true men are liars this is what I believe and if they want to come at me again I'm say look you want to attack my religious beliefs that's fine you know because all of them claim to be Christians it's going to be fun so if they go down that road babe I'm gonna have to hurt them back but so I'm just letting you know I'm not going
to swing but if they swing I'm going to swing right that was my old method back in the day I never started a fight but I I would return fire right and answer the answer the call but the Lord I believe is going to have great things for all of us and I think really and I believe this with all my heart the worst things get the more God is going to use us in the world to be his light and his witness and they're going to need to see not just what we say they're going to need to see that we're living what we say and then they're going to need to see that the god that we serve is still a supernatural God that he still does Miracles he still speaks to us he still will deliver you whatever the situation it's not just about physical healing or tongues or any it's about we got a bag of rice and we need to feed 5,000 people he can multiply that do you believe he can do that see that kind of stuff is going to go down and people these people are going to be coming and they're going to be they they're going to have no food and you got a little bag of rice and you ain't got enough to feed everybody and you pray over it and feed them and you and they see this happen what do you think they're going to say tell us about your Jesus that's what that atheist told me in the garden to we were preaching I was preaching the gospel to him I'd been arguing with him for two weeks the presence and power of God hit him while we're in the garden tomb we walk out down the alley as we're walking he said I want to know this Jesus you've been talking I want to know this what what was that I said it was Jesus that was the power resurrected Jesus Christ of Nazareth his presence touching you that's what it was he's trying to get your attention and then just a few moments later he says I want to know this Jesus a total atheist because the power of God hit him because I preach the gospel to him this is what we must do we must do the will of God we must dig the holes y'all you dig the hole in obedience and God will fill it amen what hole are you supposed to dig that's what you better figure out where you supposed to dig it and when you're supposed to dig it digging holes y'all going to do it all right let's stand hallelujah hallelujah
you know I believe there's people out there too I believe there's Christians out there different states different countries even God's going to tell you to run for political office whether you win or lose so you can be a light in that fight did not Jesus say people some people say why Pastor de you even get involved in this in the politics why would you do that Jesus said to us go into all the world and preach the gospel did he say sit in church and wait till the world comes to you that's the American method right most of the church growth in America is transfer growth y'all understand that right a lot of churches are dying meaning they're losing members they're losing people they're not winning people why because they're not preaching the gospel with the power of God upon it and they're not obeying God it's just that simple I don't want to be that that not going to be that I I like I said I was taught by Regent I remember I remember being at a conference I was forced to go to Regent University professor of church growth I sat there for what five six hours a day for five day I mean but I'm glad now that I went through that because I heard all the methods of manipulation to build a big church and I said not doing any of it that's why this church will never be huge never and I'm okay with that I really don't mind at all in fact it's kind of nice but when the Lord said go into all the world guess what that means the political world the entertainment world the education world we sit back here and we don't get in the fight and tell them the truth and tell them what God thinks and what God expects they're going to be lost they need us and God's made it that way it's not a pride thing God has made it where he said I need you to do what I need you to do you need to be my mouthpiece my hands my feet you need to go and preach the gospel to Every Creature that's our Command now sometimes you got to you got to ask him okay Lord you said go where do I go because we're not all called to do the same thing or go to the same places but you have to know and it's in the will of God that you're going to find peace and
deliverance and healing and strength and joy even though it's difficult and this is a this is a little tidbit and it's only 5 after 12 so we're good just a little tidbit right here even if you're digging holes in the desert and it's difficult and you're sweating and you'd rather be playing golf or in a swimming pool when you do what the Lord says to do there is a joy that comes down over you can you imagine how they felt when God filled those holes with water and they were able to go drink I bet some of them just dove in I'd have just fell in one i' been like oh my Lord thank you Jesus he saved us right see this is why I've got joy I know bad things are coming but I don't have fear I don't have anxiety I don't have worry because I know God's going to do great things in the midst of all that and I'm fine with that and I'm fine if it's difficult some of the best things that ever happen to you is when you go through difficult times and you come out of them and you realize God was with me God helped me and the mistakes that I made or whatever I did that I need to correct you learn to correct it that's the only way you learn really learn I mean I can teach you stuff all day long but it's the stuff you go through is where you learn the most amen amen let's pray father we thank you for the truth of your word I thank you Lord for giving this message to me today to share Lord we will obey you we make a choice we want to hear your voice and know your will be filled with the knowledge of your will and do what you've called us to do individually corporately and if all of the churches the true Christians would do what you have said for them to do there would be Revival throughout the land the Lord would fill the ditches with water confuse our enemies and give us victory in this battle Lord help us because we want to win the lost the Wicked the hurting the rejected the abused the beaten a lot of them Lord are just broken reads smoking flaxes help us reach them Lord by helping us stay in the path and the course you have for us I pray this for everyone here I pray this for everyone
