fill us to overflowing lord the early church didn't pray just for one baptism in the holy spirit one infilling they kept praying lord we need to be filled again and again again we need to be filled lord they prayed in acts 4 to be filled with the holy spirit that they would be able to speak the word boldly that you would stretch forth your hand to heal and that signs and wonders will be done in the name of jesus lord so we just pray that you'll continue lord to baptize us in fire to fill us with holy ghost fire and anointing to increase the anointing of the holy spirit in our lives so that we may confront the evil that's in this world with the light and the truth and the power of god lord you've called christians to have some power and authority in the name of jesus or help us to be filled and to learn to exercise that power in faith or we pray this this morning in jesus name amen amen praise be to god sometimes you just need to worship for a little while amen and as we were worshiping the lord just kind of did drop something in my spirit to share with you this morning i was really didn't know if we were just going to keep worshiping and keep praying and you know sometimes that's that's fine and dandy to do that no problem with that if that's what the lord wants us to do but anyway i want to share some things with you just to encourage you and reiterate some things because i don't want you to lose track of the fact that as true believers in jesus christ you have power and you have authority to use his name against even great evil and i want to tell you the reason i'm sharing this is we all know what the bible says in second timothy 3. paul said know that in the last days perilous times will come perilous meaning dangerous right perilous times will come and then he goes through a long little list but he says this down further in the chapter he says but evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived matter of fact let's just turn there second timothy chapter three there's some things i want to share with you because i've shared with you about your authority that you have in the name of jesus the binding and loosing uh when it comes to having authority over satan and over demonic spirits and over the powers of darkness and how fasting and prayer is important to to keep your authority and your power and your faith strong and uh may talk about that a little bit today but but you need to understand that we're going to be facing in in the days ahead
some incredible evil within human beings and i believe we're even going to be facing demons on the earth that are manifested in a physical form maybe even some of the fallen angels that are manifested in physical form and you've got to be totally convinced biblically as a christian that greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world amen you know paul said this term he said i'm fully persuaded see the issue with a lot of christians is they say they believe things but are they fully persuaded see i'm fully persuaded because of what the scripture says and because of my walk with god i am fully persuaded that i have power over satan and over demon spirits and his fallen angels that i have power and authority in the name of jesus through the blood of jesus and that i am a child of the living god and have the right to use the name of jesus christ of nazareth against satan whether he manifests in a physical form or whether he's working in an individual i could find that devil they're always getting a sound system but i can bind that devil and he has to stop what he's doing now listen to me why is this important why is it so important because we're going to face some evil in some people some people that want to harm us some people that want to do terrible and evil things i mean they're out there in this world already i mean i've read some incredible and horrible stories lately and i'm just going people are getting more and more demon possessed demon infiltrated and acting out what the demons want them to do the demons that are inside them and acting that out and i mean horrific things and you got you you've got to understand that god has given you has given me if we if we believe in jesus christ that he died on that cross and he rose from the dead if we believe that he is the almighty the all-powerful one and that we through believing in him and turning from our sin and being reborn and being washed in the blood of the lamb that he's given us authority if we believe that then we've got to believe that he will deliver us we've got to believe that when we exercise that authority and command certain things and do certain things rebuke the enemy buying the enemy we have to believe that it's done that it's going to work because of what the word of god says not because of what pastor dean says not because of what anybody else says but because of what the word says and you're going to face these things i was you know i don't even share with you all some of the things that i research because i freak y'all out enough
okay but the bottom line is y'all don't really some of you don't even have a clue what is creeping around upon the earth now the days of noah are upon us um who knows i may get into something let's read though i'm going to read this because i want to show you that it wasn't strange for the apostles to confront have to confront the supernatural side of the enemy in in people okay when i talk about when i say the supernatural side the apostles of course christians filled with the holy ghost had jesus in them working through them no knew their authority and power in jesus but they would come up on sometimes people who were filled with demons operating in supernatural demonic power and listen folks the bible is very clear that as we move further into this time period of the end that more and more demonic signs and wonders are going to be happening and they're going to be happening through individuals and sometimes i believe they're going to be actual demons and actual fallen angels that are in physical form that have a human appearance that are going to be doing supernatural things okay and so clearly we need to know who we are in jesus christ we need to know where we stand and we need to know how we confront these things this is why i've been trying to say listen god yeah some evil and dark things are going to happen in the world but you can be in a place of protection you can be in a place of refuge a place of safety you can even be in a dangerous situation and use the name of jesus and cause that situation to change okay and this is what you've just got to get in you've got to get down in you've got to be prepared for that moment the name of jesus is powerful if you're walking with jesus not just anybody can use the name of jesus right we know that but let's just read this second timothy 3 verse 1 it says this know also that in the last days perilous or dangerous times shall come for men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy without natural affection truce breakers false accusers incontinent fierce despisers of those that are good traitors heady high-minded lovers of pleasures more than lovers of god but many of them will look at the next verse have a form of godliness or christianity but deny the power thereof and that is the word dunamis the power of the holy spirit they will deny the power of the spirit and then he instructs us from
such turn away i don't even know why anybody wanted christianity it denies the power of god but god tells us here to turn away from that and then he says for of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins led away with divers lust which he tells us the powerless christianity will never get out of sin they will never get out free from their lust well we don't we know that's the truth right but then he says this they'll be ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth i mean there's people out there getting degrees theological degrees in spiritual formation which is basically contemplative prayer getting degrees in in contemplative prayer and they think they're ever learning i'm getting doctorate degrees going to school for six seven eight years learning foolishness learning error learning demonic doctrines of devils yet they're they're going to be pastoring a church here before i'm probably a mega church i could name the guy he wrote a book that's being promoted by you know a popular minister in town all right look what he says here though a lot of people just read over this part right here now it says now is jannie's or jenez and jamborez or jamborees or whatever how you pronounce their names but now it says now his janies and jamborees withstood or fought against moses so do these also resist the truth men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith now let's stop for a second you can just read over that and go what is he talking about who was who was jannie's and jamborees or jainism jammers who were these two guys that fought against moses well a little research shows that they were the two primary egyptian magicians okay who when moses came into egypt sent by god moses was given two signs to show the israelites number one he was given to stick his hand inside of his inside of his robe pull it out and it would be leprous to put it back in and it would be healed showing the the supernatural healing power of god the other thing was he was to throw his rod down and his rod would turn into a serpent and then he could take it up and it would turn back into a rod and that was a sign two signs that he was to give show first show to the children of israel so they would believe he was sent by god and to show pharaoh initially to let him to get him to let the people go right of course it's interesting because that's the two things god's given us power as christians he said these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they will cast out demons and he said take up serpents and that literally means take authority and stop what they're doing so when moses would throw the rod down it would turn into a serpent when he would take it up
and it turned back into a rod he was stopping that serpent from doing and being what it was supposed what it would do naturally all right the hand in the robe was healing and the bible says that believers can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover all right so it's god everything in the old testament is an example to us right but these guys fought against moses because when moses first came up and he did his signs in front of pharaoh and said let my people go that we may go into the wilderness and worship the lord god jehovah the creator and he said showed him his signs and pharaoh went hahaha my guys can do that too and so the egyptian magicians janiz and jambrez came in and did the supernatural they threw their rods down and they became serpents and took them up again now we don't have a record of whether they did the leprosy thing they may have because the devil has certain power over sickness and disease to make it come and go that's why you have you have demonic healers or witch doctors in every type of religion because he can manipulate things on a molecular level okay so god is plainly saying here through the apostle paul that in the last days we would have these people who would fight against the truth fight against us like they did moses with the supernatural power of the devil just like the magicians okay now here's where it gets even stronger all right if you go down a little further after he says that look at verse well let's just keep reading for the sake of just context he said now as janice and jambrez withstood moses so do these also resist the truth men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith but they shall proceed no further for their folly shall be manifest unto all as theirs also was but thou has fully known my doctrine paul's saying the first thing you judge and discern somebody by is doctrine the manner of life how they live do they live a holy life their purpose what is their motivation their faith their patience their charity so on persecutions and afflictions that came to be an antioch and iconium and lystra what persecutions i endured but out of them all the lord delivered me and he said yea and all that will live godly in christ jesus shall suffer persecution but evil men and seducers shall act worse and worse deceiving and being deceived now he says evil men here and seducers the greek word seducers is the greek word go ace which was what was originally written by paul the word goes the definition in the strong's dictionary of goats is not just someone who is an imposter but
it's someone who is an imposter who is also a wizard who mutters and utters spells so what he's saying here is that there will be imposters now what is an imposter an imposter somebody tries to act like he's one thing when he's really something else right but that he will be an imposter but he will really be a wizard who is operating in demonic power in the power of magic whether you call it white magic or black magic or voodoo or juju or what do they call it in santeria the what is magic in santeria or what do they call that what's the word do they have a word for it give me one shout it magic has out what we call it i guess so like okay anyway they have all kinds right all kinds of names for it voodoo juju you know i remember what was wild is of course they practiced voodoo in africa and i've been to africa several times and and but it's funny because over there the ones that speak english they don't even call it voodoo they call it juju and i'm like juju i heard them saying that juju what's juju and they go you know voodoo i'm like okay i guess it's a nickname i don't but anyway but then it's real but i wanna i to share something with you i i'll share this because uh this gave me a little snippet of where we are and what's going on i had a guy that was on my facebook who's a facebook friend and acquaintance from years and years ago i may have seen him or been around him in you know probably 30 years right long long time ago had no idea you know got a lot of people on there i don't know real well or don't remember real well or whatever but anyway um he made a comment and posted this article about buddhism and how buddhism and psychotherapy are meeting together right so i decided to make a comment of course i didn't know anything about what he did what he didn't do what he believed what he didn't believe i don't know i didn't care i decided to make a comment so i told him i said buddhist meditation techniques open people up to demons and i said i've cast many out in jesus name of many tormented souls well come to find out this guy after the fact after his hostility went to a new level come to find out that he is a therapist for the united states army he works for the us army up in new york and he is a therapist now what is amazing is he was sitting
there promoting buddhism which is a religion and buddhists believe in the spirit realm they believe in astral travel astral projection being one with the spirit realm they believe in spirits they believe in it all i mean buddhist true buddhists believe in the spirits and spirit realm but he began to talk about how if you believed in that in demons and in the spirit realm and all that you were crazy yet he just posted an article about buddhism i found that interesting because really what i discovered in the conversation was it wasn't that he had a problem with other religions just christianity and it was rather hostile now this man works for the united states army and the spirit of antichrist was dripping off of him like somebody just drenched him with it but here's the thing what was interesting i just kept i kept agitating him by saying because he said well i wouldn't have a problem if you would just if you accepted basically accepted all religions and i said well that's not going to happen i say because jesus christ is the only way the only truth the only life the only true god i said he's the only way and and so this guy he was getting more and more angry by the minute but he he came back with that and i realized this is what we're facing and then i said you know i just said i pray i'm gonna pray for you man i said i'm gonna pray that you'll come to know jesus now at the end he said oh at the end he said something very interesting which let me know what he's into he said i already know jesus this is not the way you think because what you think is blankety blank blank junk and i saw it to myself oh he's got his new age cosmic jesus his oprah and deepak chopra jesus not the jesus christ of nazareth who came and died on the cross and rose from the dead and is the king and god almighty the the jesus of the bible but he flat out told me i got jesus already see this is what we're up against and these people who like deepak chopra who talks about the third jesus that the third jesus is coming the first one was buddha the second one was jesus christ but the third one's coming he was going to have the same spirit of buddha and jesus they're going to have this christ spirit and he's going to lead us this man is coming yeah but you got to think about it here's the thing they've got their jesus and because these people meditate and visualize things and operate in the spirit realm and operate in all these
different religions and accept all these different religions and or open themselves up to the spirit realm we're dealing with a whole group of people even many who say they're christians who have a counterfeit jesus they have counterfeit spiritual experiences they have they really have demons that are filling them through these ways and they really think that they know jesus christ of nazareth they really think that they've had an experience because they visualized something they felt some some usey goosey goosebumps or something and they think that they have encountered god and here here what i'm saying is here is a me a christian minister for over 26 years and here's this psychotherapist over here who works for the army telling me he hating everything i'm saying but then tells me he has jesus oh yeah he said all of us should be locked up basically in a mental institution now oh and then i rep so i rebuked him because he said something about that we were just crazy we were just the minority basically that i said what i said i said you're the one in the minority in your unbelief i said look at the religions of the world every religion in the world the muslims the buddhists the hindus christian every religion believes in the spirit realm and life after death in some form or another and they believe in spirits evil and good i'm sitting there going no you're in the minority fella not us not people who believe in spiritual things and i didn't told him i said it seems like you're hostile towards spiritual people you got a little hostility and he goes oh you know he he denied that that unbelievers who don't believe in anything are the minority and i'm like do i have to actually count them up you know 1 billion uh hindus one billion plus catholics one bit two billion muslim do i have to count up for you no so basically saying anybody that doesn't believe like i believe is crazy it should be locked up what's scary is he works for the united states army and probably has the power and we'll have more power soon to lock people up in these institutions simply for believing in the supernatural this is just one problem you all the confrontations are going to grow greater but let me show you something that that we we probably hadn't talked about for go to acts chapter 13.
acts chapter 13. i love this right here verse one you know with me and now you remember this now there's a verse i think it's in uh i'm pretty sure it's philippians chapter four around verse eight or nine but paul says this he said the things you've heard in me and seen in me do and the god of peace will be with you so everybody listen anything that paul said say anyway anything paul said anything paul did paul told me to say and do right so we're saved if paul did it he said and then paul even said in first timothy chapter 1 verse 16 he said that the lord had made him an example to those who would hereafter believe so paul was an example of a christian okay god was saying i'm going to take this guy i'm going to anoint him i'm filling with the holy spirit i'm going to fill him with wisdom and revelation i'm going to teach him the scriptures i'm going to use him to teach and preach and plant churches and get people saved and paul just did everything he cast out demons he healed the sick he preached the gospel and then paul writes to the philippians the things you've heard in me seen in me do and the god of peace will be with you so again the people that preach you're not supposed to cast out demons anymore heal the sick or you know you got to wonder what bible they read right so paul said the things you've seen to me heard me do now look at what paul did paul confronted had to confront some evil people at times verse 1 it says now there were in the church that was at antioch certain prophets and teachers as barnabas and simeon that called that was called niger and lucius of cyrene and manian and that which was brought up with herod the teacher ark and saul or the apostle paul as they ministered to the lord and fasted the holy ghost said separate to me barnabas and saul for the work where unto i have called them and when they had fasted and prayed they laid hands on them and they sent them away so they being sent forth by the holy ghost departed into seleucia and from thence they sailed to cyprus and when they were at salamis they preached the word of god in the synagogues of the jews and they also had john or mark john mark the author of the book the gospel of mark so they also had john mark to their minister and when they had gone through the isle of paphos they found a certain sorcerer a false prophet a jew by the name of bart jesus which was with the deputy of the country sergius paulus a prudent man who called for barnabas and saul and desired to hear the word of god but illimas the sorcerer for so is his name by interpretation withstood them or began to oppose them or fight against them trying to turn the deputy from the faith
he was trying to interfere with their ministry to this sergius paulus and he says that then paul who is also then saul who is also called paul filled with the holy ghost set his eyes on him and he said o full of all subtlety and all mischief thou child of the devil thou enemy of all righteousness what thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the lord and now the hand of the lord is upon you and you shall be blind not seeing the sun for a season and immediately there fell on him a midst and a darkness and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand then the deputy when he saw what was done believed being astonished at the doctrine of the lord whoa now some folks say well that sounds like an old testament story sorry it's in the new testament now notice he said that this guy was a false prophet meaning that he operated in the supernatural he was also called a sorcerer so the fact what he was saying was he operated into the supernatural power of the devil but claimed to be a prophet of god he was a jew so he claimed to be a prophet of jehovah yet he was truly a sorcerer so when paul and barnabas were trying to lead sergius paulus to the lord jesus to get him saved and filled the holy ghost this man begins to oppose them now we don't know how he opposed them we don't know if it was just with words or it was with witchcraft or some supernatural thing but bottom line he fought against them and and the holy spirit you got to remember this the holy spirit came on saul or paul and moved him to speak against this man call him a child of the devil an enemy of all righteousness and then to blind him to show the power of god to sergey's apology you know why because sergey's paulus have been deceived by the sorcery power the demonic power of this false prophet elias so god showed his power and its authority but he did it through paul now remember the verse i gave you somebody did somebody check me on philippians at 4 9 he said the things you've seen in me heard in me do the god of peace will be with you this is what i'm talking about we are going to have in the days ahead confrontations with sorcerers warlocks witches enemies of the cross that are going to be trying to hinder us from sharing the gospel hinder us from witnessing the people they're going to do supernatural things you know years ago i love i love my great aunts man i tell you what nor lee 91 her sister my aunt zola
died in 2002 at 82 godly women i'm here because of them but i'll never forget my my aunt zola was a man she was a woman of prayer every day at least twice a day she just disappeared sometimes she'd go up in the woods sometimes she'd go somewhere in the house but you wouldn't know where she was i stumbled on her a couple times in the woods because i used to roam around everywhere out there right but she was a woman of prayer she'd pray and she just tears and rolled out her face and i remember her telling me she supported this missionary and i don't know if the missionary now i can't remember if she this is it was a woman missionary in africa i can't remember what country it was in africa but she she would get this woman's newsletters and this woman was one of those old holiness ladies you know with the bun and just just full of fire in the holy ghost i mean just her whole life just dedicated to being on the i mean she went on the mission field basically with no big denomination supporting her or anything just went out there and zola supported this woman and she was you know she was up in years but she was out there with the you know out there and with the voodoo priest right so in this in this area where she was ministering and she had a little building and had started a church and was leading people to the lord and and everything this voodoo priest was getting mad because so many people were getting saved so he came into the church laid down in the front of the altar in front of the pulpit and went into his voodoo demonic trance and levitated up in the air about six feet up in the air flat laying flat and to challenge her to challenge her just she was trying to show the people in the church he's the one that had the power he's the one they needed to listen to he's the one that had and she just stood there and looked at it i remember reading this story and she had photos in the little newsletter i remember i remember reading this story i was like said she said i just sat there look at that his eyes rolled back in his head why all you can see is the whites of his eyes demon possessed she said floating up in the air in my church so she let him float on up a little higher and then she said in front of everybody satan i bind you and rebuke you in the name of jesus christ that joker hit the floor got up terrified ran out the door ran screaming out of the church right a few days later mr voodoo which doctor got saved amen and a lot of his people got saved and started coming to the church but just a confrontation see the devil he doesn't really want these conference confrontations because especially people who know but he's he's
he when he starts losing he's got to try something right so he's going to he'll challenge you and you have to be ready amen you've got to be convinced but the name of jesus is powerful and i believe we're going to see some of this i believe there may be a day when soldiers come to get me and god can blind every single one of them well they don't know what's going on amen i had this happen i know some people won't believe this but i don't care i'll share it when i led the girl that was in satanism to the lord many years ago they sent somebody to kill me more than one it was more than one they tried to kill me for a number of years without succeeding but one guy stood up with a rifle and pointed it straight at me and was going to shoot me with a hunting rifle i mean he wasn't more than 20 yards maybe 30 yards away from me and a bright light flashed in front of his face and knocked him to the ground and he could not see i don't know how long that lasted because i didn't stick around but god is able now i didn't have to address that because it would happen too fast that i didn't even but before i i even saw it boom it was done god took care of it but the name of jesus is powerful like my mom before my mom got saved you wanna know how my mom got saved we were praying for my mom but my mom was an unsaved alcohol drinking cussing uh you know just wanted to do her own thing heathen okay so i get saved on fire for jesus come home it's more she can take right i come home just for a visit thanks around thanksgiving right just for well i know it's christmas christmas of 1987. come home for a visit don't even say anything to her i didn't say a word i was hanging out with my brother he was still living at home he was 17. he's still living at home so i'm just hanging out with him one night they're out this is a friday night they go out drinking her my step-dad they go out drinking come back in we're watching christian tv that was our crime they went ballistic we didn't say a word they went ballistic i mean cussing screaming snot flying spit flying screaming right to the point we're like what do we do i mean we even said what did we do but we i we knew it's just demons so by this time this is how demonic you want to talk about demons rising up in people people you think are fine one day and the next minute demons can rise up in them my stepdad
went to his room and got a gun [Music] who's done anything we didn't even watch christian tv for a few minutes but now we have a gun pulled on us and people cussing us out so my brother who is more of the peacemaker in the family than i am huh yeah that's hard to figure there but my brother kind of stepped between me and my stepdad because my me and my stepdad had already had several altercations in days gone by so probably wasn't good this wasn't the first time he pulled a gun on me let's put it that way all right so anyway somehow he goes back to his room i guess and passes out so my mom i'm in one part of the house coming back down the hallway and my brother is in the kitchen at the other end of the house with my mom and my mom is just steadily yelling cussing screaming at my brother and i'm not i haven't even got there yet i'm still i'm i'm coming down the hallway i'm entering the den and i'm almost to get into the kitchen and i hear my brother i burn those demons and rebuke them in the name of jesus christ my mom every s her mouth stopped boop silence she she looked stunned for a second she walked she she didn't say another word she didn't she didn't scream she didn't say another curse word she walked over and sat down at the table and and by that time i had walked into the kitchen and i saw what happened to my brother sitting right here and i sat right here and we talked to her about the gospel gave her the gospel of jesus and shared with her what happened and she tears started rolling down her face but it was demons riled up in her trying to block her angry knowing that it would only take a little bit of conversation and tears started running but she still didn't get saved that night she still was a little resistant so she goes to bed my brother and sister go to you know they go to bed and i'm supposed to get we're also me and my brother my little sister we're all gonna get up and go to church the next morning but i'm like i told alan and he was driving in i said you and jennifer are going to go to church and i'm gonna stay here and talk to mom because my stepdad had to go into work on a sunday morning never happened and he went in to work and i stayed there and talked to my mom i got up and prayed for hours before she woke up for her and then i got up and i went in there and i kept sharing the word to until she she prayed and accepted the lord that and and i remember a couple of years before well maybe more in a couple of years probably three or four years before she died
i had thought my mom just like a lot of us i thought that you know she went to church when she was young with my my aunts and everything you know you think people most people get saved when they're young and just slip away and you know and i said well mom i said when did you when was your first born-again experience where you really felt the power of god and you really got saved and she goes when you pray for me in 1987 we prayed together and i thought wow my mom at that point was 41 42 years old had just gone through a battle with cancer almost died from hodgkin's and i was sitting there going and i had no clue she never really had known jesus but what set her free confronting the demons that were holding her in bondage [Music] you see what i'm saying it's it's a powerful thing man let's look at just a few scriptures and we're going to quit i just want to give you these and i want you to believe them luke 10 and this goes for you children and young people in here too the lord's given you power in the name of jesus to use the name of jesus against not just against demons but against evil people it'll shake people up luke chapter 10 verse 17. just a few scriptures here and the 70 returned again with joy jesus had sent them out to preach and heal the sick and cast out demons and the 70 returned again with joy saying lord even the devils are subject unto us through your name subject means they have to obey us okay so even the devils are subject unto us through thy name and jesus said unto them i beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven behold i give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you notwithstanding in this rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven jesus has given us power dunamis power holy ghost power right over the power of the enemy and nothing shall be any means hurt you but how many of you know you can have all the power in the world but if you don't use it it's not going to help you right most people billy's probably the only one here that knows i have i have a very powerful right cross that usually knocked people out and back in the day with one punch it was devastating i i i it really was i never people used to say i couldn't believe somebody your size could hit that hard
i don't know i guess i just had a gift for focusing all my strength into one spot right but here's the thing he says here if if somebody came up and was trying to beat me up and i didn't use that you know what i'm saying what would happen to me i'm gonna get beat up right now i'm not advocating fighting i'm not gonna fight i'm just saying if god's given us power and authority in the name of jesus to use against demons working in people or demons themselves manifesting if you don't use it by speaking it out of your mouth you're going to get beat up you're going to lose you could have all the power and authority in the world but if you don't use it it's no good right um let's look at another go to matthew 16. matthew 16 are you there that's when jesus asked who am i who who do you say that i am and this one peter answered look at verse 16 and simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven and i say also unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it and i will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in the heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in the heavens binding and losing the keys of the kingdom has been given to the church and not the catholic church the keys of the kingdom belong to us and what are they binding and loosing you buying demons you loose people simple right but if you don't say it out of your mouth it'll never work if you're getting attacked by a spirit of lust you need to say i bind the spirit of lust attacking me i bind you in jesus name go from me resist the devil in jesus name if someone is attacking you at work and they're trying to get you fired by the demons of strife and division and hatred in them bind the demons in them in jesus name you're going to need to do this frequently buying the demons in them and command them to stop their work against you amen if you know that a witch is speaking against you bind the demons of divination and witchcraft and familiar spirits in that which bind those demons
in jesus name rebuke them and command them to stop their work against you you have to pick up the keys of the kingdom binding laws you have to use them you have to actively resist the demonic power let me give you another one go to james four and this will be my last one just you guys ought to know this but some of you still aren't doing it on a regular basis because i don't know if you're not fully persuaded that you're getting attacked by demons or that you're just not fully persuaded that you have authority over them i don't know but you're getting a little wimpy out there it's time to straighten up man up and fight i don't care if you're a woman amen you fight the devil you can be aggressive james chapter 4. i'll get there in a minute myself everybody james 4 let's read verse 7. submit yourselves therefore to god resist the devil and he will flee from you right now here's what i'd like to say i'm going to say this again the level of your ability to resist the devil is connected to where you are your your level of being submitted to god is now remember i said earlier that this is not just for anybody now god in his grace and mercy knows that some baby christians maybe not have things altogether can still use the name of jesus and resist the devil that's not what i'm talking about but if you are actively in rebellion or you're living in some sin or hey i'm going to tell you to sin that some of you are living in that weakens your authority and power and that is a lack of prayer and a lack of fasting guess what to to not be a person of prayer and fasting is a sin you know why because the scripture says to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not to him it is sin i remember leonard ravenhill you say this all the time he goes it's not the things that i've done that worries me about when i stand before the judgment seat it's the things that i should have done you know when the the three stood before jesus what did he say to the one who hid his lord's money he said you ought to have done this there's some things god wants us to do amen submit yourselves therefore to god submit to god that means you submit to what he wants you to do to live a holy life to be a person who prays to be a person who fast to be a person who
worships to be a person who goes to church to be a person who's obedient submissive submitted to god's word and god's will and he says then resist the devil and i love this word resist it means to actively oppose and fight against but the way you fight the spirit realm is out of your mouth you have to say it satan i buried you in jesus name i rebuke you in jesus name go from me in jesus name somebody starts threatening you with a gun or violence or anything you should say i bind the demons of murder and violence in you i command them to go from this place that person will turn around and leave i mean there's just testimonies upon testimonies upon especially women who are about to get raped have have just spoken the name of jesus and rebuke the devil and turn around and just run listen and i know this listen i've heard the testimonies y'all listen to me close i've heard the testimonies of satanists who've been out hunting to pick up certain children that their parents let run around the neighborhoods and don't watch and they're they said there's certain kids though they couldn't touch even though in the in in the natural they weren't being watched close enough and could have gotten snatched they said but there were certain kids we couldn't touch why parents praying for their kids see this this stuff the devil is in people remember over in 1st john when he talks about cain killing abel i think it's first john 3 down in verse 15 area and he says this he said cain who was of that wicked one and killed or murdered his brother the demon got in to cain because cain disobeyed god got angry at god got offended with god and the demon got in him satan got in him and put that in his mind in his heart to kill his brother and that's what the scripture tells us you go back to genesis 4 and god warned him he said sin lieth at the door and the hebrew is is like an animal like a big cat a raging cat that was crouched in the bushes ready to leap in the doorway what was he saying he was telling his warning king you're opening the door to an evil spirit and this evil spirit once it gets in there you're gonna have a hard time not being controlled by it [Music] but there are people right now folks listen to me there are people so filled with demons and i'm talking about
pro-abortion people liberals people in our military they're so filled with demons of murder and death they really will kill you if they get a chance i mean they're it's starting to come out of their mouths we want all the conservatives we want all the christians we want all the tea party we just we just want them dead [Music] we are living in the days of noah when he said that violence and murder were in the thoughts of man continually but we have someone greater that's in us amen now i don't mean to say that there won't be christians who are martyred in the coming persecution but guess what let it be because it's god's will not because you were passive or messing around amen i believe firmly that we're going to see some great and mighty acts of god through our resistance of evil and speaking the gospel and understanding our authority and power we have in jesus name we're going to see some great deliverances some great i think we're going to see things i mean you think about it daniel and the lions then they threw daniel in there to get eaten by lines nope they threw shadrach meshach and abednego in a furnace that was so hot it killed the men that threw them in there did it burn them nip we have record that they tried to boil john they boiled john the apostle john in oil trying to kill him did he die nope paul was stoned to death he was whipped with 39 lashes that's supposed to kill a normal man he was whipped with 39 lashes three no five times beaten with rods three times stoned to death once did he keep living you get what i'm saying they locked peter up in jail an angel came and the chains fell off they locked paul and silas up in the prison trying to stop them from preaching the gospel what happened earthquake shook the place rattled the doors open rather the windows off rattled their chains off and they could have walked out but instead what did they do no they leave the jailer to the lord in this whole family this is not these are not fairy tales these are not myth these are not these are things that i believe we're going to see in our own lives as we stand for jesus in the face of great evil against great people that are filled with evil and demon spirits but just know you have authority and power in the name of jesus to bind demons to loose people to rebuke satan to resist the devil and he must flee from you stand up and believe greater is he the holy spirit that's in me than he that's in the world
amen thank god that he has not left us alone and here's the good part not only has he given us power and authority to resist the evil demons that are in people and to cause them to flee but he has blessed us with the truth that if we'll walk with him he said i will never leave you and i will never forsake you not only has he given you the authority and power to lose he said i'll be right there with you i'll handle what you can't handle i love where god is it says we are co-laborers with christ in that good we get to be part of it he doesn't do everything for us like the calvinists say we're part of the process we're involved we're joint heirs and we're co-laborers he said in my name and you cast out devils not i'm gonna do it for you you resist the devil you bind the devil you stand against these evil men can you imagine pharaoh i mean moses going before pharaoh that's one man let my people go after 400 years of slavery is it any wonder that that pharaoh laughed not but we're pesky little people [Music] because you can have the all the power of the greatest nation on the earth the evil power behind and one man can stand up with god and go no well we're just going to take you out with a drone no your drone will crash no your drone's going to get confused and go shoot you that's going to be funny some of that stuff remember god turning the armies with these huge armies would come against israel and all of a sudden god would just snap his fingers and they'd start fighting and killing each other [Music] or or they would mass against the city i mean surround the city and all of a sudden god would send another army to attack their homeland they turn around and go back fight them god is able amen we serve the mighty god the one true god the creator of heaven and earth he is able to be our refuge and our fortress and our deliverer and our healer and our provider and our defense amen i love one of the definitions people don't don't talk about this about god but one of his names is he is a man of war the lord of hosts the commander of the armies of heaven the egyptian army i remember the egyptian army going down into that trench going down into the red sea into that passage god cut and it says the angels began to laugh began to pull the
chariot wheels off they just had a good old time messing them up remember that the syrian army they sent the syrian king of syria sent the entire army to get elijah the prophet surrounded him one man and he walks out and get his eyes flipping out what are we going to do and a lot she goes there's more with us than them what you crazy old man what and then he said lord elisha prayed lord open this young man's eyes and when he did he saw all the armies of the angels on their chariots round about them and then elijah smite him with blindness the entire army smote him with blindness and then he goes the server's like what do we do are we are we supposed to just try to kill them all he goes no lead them back to their master give them food and water lead them back home you can't fight against god i feel sorry for some of these people they're going to try to kill some of us and just drop dead hey we might have we might have some soldiers set up out here in downtown auburn and start killing folks and then they get to us and all the soldiers drop over there y'all think i'm crazy watch what's going to happen [Music] god has not changed let that sink down in you in your heart he hasn't changed not one bit [Music] amen all right let's pray father we thank you for today we thank you for the truth god that you are the mighty god nothing is more powerful than you on this earth not a man not a demon not a devil not satan nothing is more powerful than you greater is he the lord jesus christ it's in us than he that's in the world i thank you lord you've given us power and authority over all the power of the enemy i thank you lord yes even though some of us may lay down our lives one day for the gospel that you've given us power to resist evil and evil men and to see great supernatural deliverance god you have a plan you're going to show your power through your people and i believe it with all my heart lord touch your people today in jesus name amen
