Lord, I pray today, Lord, that Your presence, Your anointing, the power of Your Spirit, Lord, that we feel here today as we've been worshiping You, that You will speak and You will touch and minister to those watching and listening and those here today. Lord, I pray the prayer they prayed almost every night of the Brownsville Revival. Lord, speak to our hearts and change our lives. We pray in Jesus' name, amen, amen. We may be seated this morning. We welcome everyone. Man, that's a good song. Let me tell you, that reminds me of the old days. I don't care what anybody has to say. I remember my great-grandmother and my two great aunts when I was a little bitty boy. When I was four and five and six years old, taking me to the first assembly of God Church and singing those old hymns that actually talked about Jesus and the blood and the power of forgiveness and the power of His resurrection. There's not enough songs like that today, just not enough. And I don't care what you young whippersnappers say. Old school is the best school. One day, you'll know what that means if Jesus tarries. This morning, got a lot on my heart this morning. Didn't know even really what to call this because I knew we were gonna go everywhere in the Bible this morning. First place I wanna go, and you guys are gonna have to move to keep up. Well, let's go to 2 Timothy chapter three, and we're gonna look at something and look at chapter three and chapter four there. Like I said, though, we're gonna move around quite a bit because I wanna revisit some things even from last week. I will go ahead and make this part public. I did get to finally talk to Robbie Davidson and he's heard from me and other Christians and truly is humbling his heart and he said, changes are gonna be made. And so that's what brothers do. We sometimes we, everything's hunky dory and we get along fine. Sometimes we disagree and sometimes there has to be some strong words, but what's beautiful is any time a brother or sister in the Lord will humble themselves and say, yeah, I need to make some changes. That's a good thing, that's what we wanna see. All of us need to do that at some point or another. So anyway, I just wanted to share that because he knows and we all know there were some things getting off the rails, but yeah, yeah, even before I'd talked to him,
he'd already been dealing with that and knew that some things got out of his control and some people he didn't vet like Karen B, he didn't know she was gonna do what she did and then boom, she did it. So there's gonna be a lot of, he just said, there's gonna be a lot of changes come Canada and Dallas, so just letting you know that. It's always good to let you know when people do respond that are making changes, amen? So let's get in this because of course things didn't stop. Last week was an interesting week and things continued on, but I wanna go back to this because I guess one of the things that's on my heart today is I'm actually just blown away right now how so many people who call themselves Christians really don't have a problem with gross and terrible heresies, false teachings in the body of Christ. I'm really blown away, but I shouldn't be because this is exactly what the apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit prophesied would happen in the last days. Last week we did read through this in Second Timothy chapter three and I really focused in on those it said, those who are ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just keep that in mind as we look at this. I wanna back up and start at verse one. So this is Second Timothy three one because let's just keep it in context of who he's talking about because I'm just gonna let it rip today as usual. The Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul said this, this know also than the last days, perilous time shall come. Now if we just had that verse by itself, we just think Paul was talking about all the terrible troubles and things like wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes and we'd start thinking of all the terrible, terrible judgments that are coming in the last days. If that was the context of this verse, but that's not the context of this verse. When he says, this know also that in the last days, perilous or very dangerous times will come, he begins to talk about problems or the sins in men. But I wanna tell you, he's talking about, and I'll prove this as we look at it, he's talking about people who call themselves Christians or have a form of godliness. He's not describing the wicked here. He's not talking about the wicked. Everybody assumes that because of what he says. But the context is not that, let's read it. So now we're gonna read all the way through. This know also than the last days, perilous or dangerous times shall come for men shall be lovers of their own selves.
Covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers. Remember that one, blasphemers. Disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent or having no self control whatsoever, especially in the sexual area. Fierce, listen to this, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Doesn't say they don't love, say they love God. It just says they love pleasures more than they love God. And then this is the key that lets you know, he's not talking to unbelievers or people who don't claim to be Christians because he says having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away. And if you'll notice, that's verse five and verse four, it's a semicolon there. So the thought is continuing. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lust. Verse seven, ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. I would say that this is the verse for the truth movement, even among Christians. It says now as Genesis and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth. Men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith, but these shall proceed no further for their folly shall be made manifest unto all men as theirs also was. But Paul goes on to say, you have known fully known what? Did he say first here? My doctrine, what I teach. Why do you think Paul put the doctrine that he taught first? Because it's most important. What will you teach? Doctrine is important. There's a lot of people out there, you'll hear them. Christians even. Oh, doctrine's not important. That's just too churchy. That's too legalistic. That's too dogmatic. Well, I'm sorry, friend, but doctrine and adhering to sound doctrine is part of the Christian faith. And if you don't, the Bible says, if you get away from sound doctrine, you do not have God. So that's pretty serious. We're gonna look at that passage in a minute. This is not a game. You don't say I walk with Jesus, but I don't want the Bible. Or I believe in Jesus, but I don't know about that book right there. Or I don't know about everything in that book right there. No, this book right here, and in particular, the new covenant in which we dwell now, live and dwell, is the doctrine of the apostles. And they made it very clear that they got their doctrine directly from Jesus himself, even Paul. He said, my doctrine is not mine. It came directly by revelation. I was with Jesus three years in the desert of Arabia.
So even the apostle Paul got his revelation, his doctrine, his gospel that he preached directly from Jesus. He said, these are not my words with the commands of the Lord. He said that in Thessalonians and in other places. The doctrines of the apostles, we don't get to depart from those doctrines. And Jesus anointed those men, filled those men, taught those men and commissioned those men to explain to us everything that he taught. I've heard people blasphemously say that the New Testament is just commentary on Jesus. And we don't, you know, we just need to go back and see what just what Jesus said in the red part of the Bible. No, Jesus said to his disciples, his apostles, if they receive you, they receive me. If they hear you, then they're hearing me. It's pretty serious. Those apostles that God used to write this New Testament by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, this is, you don't get to add to or take from what they said. You don't get to make up stuff. You don't get to add stuff. You don't get to take away stuff. You don't get to pick and choose, right? This is paramount to Christianity because Paul warned, and I'm gonna read it in a minute, but he Paul warned that they would come a day and that people would preach another Jesus. They would preach another gospel and they would have another spirit, but all pretending to be Christian, Christianity. And we have it, folks. We have a different Jesus being preached. We have a different gospel being preached. We have a different spirit being put forth. And I'm sorry, I offend a lot of people. I don't care. This is what people don't understand. I'm not gonna listen to him anymore. Fine, you see any tears? I'm not losing any sleep over it. You will stand and give an account because if you've listened to anything, you've heard this part. Now he says here, the deceivers, let's keep reading. Paul says, but thou is fully known, verse 10, but thou is fully known, my doctrine, what I teach from the scriptures, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came to me at Antioch and Iconium and Lystra, what persecutions I endured, but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution, but evil men and seducers. Seducers here is the Greek word goes. It means an imposter, a wizard, one who mutters spells,
but an imposter is someone who assumes an identity in order to deceive you. They don't really have that identity. They assume that identity in order to deceive you. They put on a front. So that's what this word means here, seducers. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. So we're warned here in these perilous times that people are gonna have this form of godliness but deny the power of it. They're gonna have an outward form of Christianity, but some of them are gonna be blasphemers. Some of them are gonna hate people that actually are good, right? He goes on to say, what's your protection? You know, there's this thing out there. Anybody heard of Truth Frequency Radio? Truth Frequency Radio. And their little tagline is, your protection from deception. And they are loaded with deceivers on that thing. I laugh when I hear that. No, your protection from deception is what he said here to Timothy. Deceivers are gonna get worse and worse, but he says, what do you do, Timothy? Continue in the things which you have learned. That's first, meaning continue in the things you have learned from me, from Peter, from James, from John. Continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of knowing of whom you have learned them. And also, that from a child you have known the holy scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. So again, the admonition here is, continue in the things that you've learned and in the scriptures, all right? I have news for you at this time, the gospels, except for the gospel of John, were already written. Many of Paul's epistles were already written. So he's talking about both the Old Testament scriptures and New Testament scriptures and what they'd learned from the apostles. Now, here's what he says. Let's go on into chapter four. This is the main passage I wanna get to. He says here, I charge thee, and this is the charge to Timothy as a pastor. A lot of these teachers out here, these so-called watchmen and teachers, many of them admit they're not pastors, they're not evangelists, they're not shepherds, they're not called to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, and yet people flock to them to be their leaders. I'm about tired of that too. Folks need to wake up out there
because Paul here warns, and this is all by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Paul here warns, he says to Timothy, I charge you or I command you. Well, if people wouldn't like that today, be like me telling a young preacher that I'm ordained, I'm not asking you, I'm telling you. I command you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead and his appearing in his kingdom, preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all long suffering and doctrine, for the time will come they will not endure sound doctrine. That means they won't put up with it. They won't like it. They won't accept it, but the time will come they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lust or their own desires, shall they heap to themselves, teachers having itching ears. They'll have a big pile of lists of the teachers they like that tell them what they wanna hear, right? Oh, there's a bunch of them. There's a bunch of teachers out there. He says that they shall heap to themselves, teachers having itching ears and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. Fables, myths, stories, false stories, like Adam and Eve had sex with the devil. But as Christians believe in this, it's not in your Bible, where'd they get it from? A fable, a myth, a false teaching called Gnostic teaching called the gospel of Thomas and Philip and the book of occult mysticism called the Zohar. That's where it comes from. And I have Christians yesterday willing to fight over defending doctrines from Gnostics and from occult mysticism instead of just accepting the sound doctrine of the Bible. This is mind blowing people. But he told us that the time will come, look at verse three again, three and four, but the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lust, shall they heap them themselves, teachers having itching ears and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned into fables. Now, let me explain to you, there are some things, there is some things out here, and I've said this many times, that we shouldn't divide over. There's been debate, I've seen the debates for 31 years now, 31 plus years back and forth on the timing of the rapture or what should really be called the first resurrection, the resurrection of the righteous dead, right? We should never separate over that, all right? As long as we agree,
there is gonna be a rapture, a resurrection of the righteous dead at the end when Jesus comes, as long as we believe that truth, arguing about the timing, I mean, we can discuss it, but separating from one another or calling somebody a heretic over that is ridiculous. Though I've had it done, because I don't believe in the pre-wrath rapture, I've been called a heretic and a false teacher and a false prophet over the rapture issue, believe it or not. I mean, it's ridiculous, right? Just some psycho people out there. But when we get down to the fundamental doctrines and what I'm talking about, the doctrines that really, really matter, like the character and nature of God, the Trinity, the triune nature of God, the deity of Jesus Christ, Jesus being fully God in the flesh. When we talk about the virgin birth, the sinless life of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, God in the flesh, the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit being the Spirit of the Father, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, not Sophia, the goddess of Gnosticism. We start talking about these fundamental things that there is only one way to have your sins forgiven, to have eternal life and to be reconciled to the God of creation, the God of the Bible, and that is through the blood of Jesus Christ and you must believe it and you must confess it and you must follow Him to be washed from your sins, to be saved. If you believe that people can go to heaven without Jesus Christ, you've departed from sound doctrine. If you believe there's any other way but Jesus or that Jesus is just one of many ways, you have departed from the gospel of Jesus Christ, from the Scriptures and from sound doctrine. Yeah, we have a lot of Christians that will say that. If you deny that there is eternal life in heaven and there's also eternal punishment and damnation in hell for the wicked and those who refuse the salvation of Jesus Christ, then you are denying the gospel of Jesus. It's that simple. I don't care how much you say you believe in Jesus. I don't care how good you try to be. I don't care how much of a sweet, smooth talking, nice guy you are. And I'm just gonna say this and everybody knows who I'm talking about. The moment you say the Holy Spirit is the demon goddess Sophia and feminine, you are not just having a small departure from orthodoxy. You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
And people out there, listen, there were Christians out there yesterday, even though I had this debate going on, there are people out there still defending Zen Garcia because he's a nice, smooth talking guy. I don't care how smooth talking he is. I don't care how much research he's done. He's ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Because you know what? The knowledge of the truth is simple. Jesus Christ is the fullness, listen to me. This is Colossians chapter two, verse eight and nine. Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life. That Jesus of the Bible is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, fullness of the Godhead, meaning fully God, not just a part of God, not like, and I'm gonna say it, not just the right hand of God, like a certain individual teaches. How can you be the fullness of God and just be his right hand? How can the Holy Spirit just be wind? This is one teaching of mine. The Holy Spirit's just the breath of God. There's no real, except, huh, it's funny, the wind, this Holy Spirit speaks, teaches, baptizes, leads, guides. I guess their Holy Spirit's just the wind. God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The Holy Spirit is fully God. The Son is fully God. The Father's fully God. But they are one. Can they separate out and do things distinct? Yes. But the moment you say, think about this, if Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you say, that means he's got, the Father is fully there, the Son is fully there, and the Holy Spirit is fully there in Jesus Christ, and then you say that the Holy Spirit is feminine and Sophia, then you're saying that Jesus, the Godhead, is part, is both male and female. We got a transgender, baphomet situation going on here. Both sexes at the same time. This is what Zengar-Sih is teaching. I'm pretty sure there's some other leaders in this biblical cosmology movement, flat earth movement, that actually agree with him as well.
But this is blasphemy. What does the word blasphemy mean? You know what it means? It means to speak irreverently or incorrectly about just what comes, and Jesus is the one that said, you will be judged by what comes out of the words that came out of your mouth. And he said, guess what? If you blaspheme the Holy Spirit of God, that sin's not gonna be forgiven in this world or the next. No forgiveness. No. Something is deeply wrong with you. If you can speak like that about the Holy Spirit of the Father, also called the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, the only place, Sophia, listen, Sophia is just a word, right? It's a Greek word, meaning wisdom. It's a Greek word. But it's always been, Sophia's always been a goddess only among one group of heretics called the Gnostics. Only, it's never been in Christianity, the apostles, their disciples, Polycarp, Irenaeus, Ignatius, all of those seconds. No, no, no. In fact, all those guys fought against those early Gnostics like Serenthus, Marcion, Valentinus. There's nothing new under the sun. In fact, the apostle John was going, in Ephesus, he was going into a bathhouse. This is documented church history. He was going into a bathhouse in Ephesus to take a bath because those are the only places you could take a bath. They didn't have bathrooms in the houses back then. He goes into the bathhouse. He finds out that the heretic Gnostic Serenthus is in the bathhouse and he runs out and would not run out without taking a bath and said, I'm not even gonna be in the same building with this guy. He is the enemy of all truth. Think about it, that's the apostle John. It's fascinating when you start looking into church history. You find out that all the so-called false teachings and heresies that we have in the church today, they're not new. None of them are new. This Torah movement thing, it's not new. There was a group called the Ebionites. It's not new.
Nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes chapter one. Nothing new under the sun. Now, people are getting all their panties into wad and their peanut butter and their jelly mixed together and everything else. What was it? Bill Murray said cats and dogs living together. Chaos. Because I dare say that someone that says the Holy Spirit of Almighty God, the Spirit of Jesus Christ is feminine and can be called after the Gnostic God of Sophia. That that's blasphemy. People losing their minds. But I'm sorry, I call a spade a spade. I call a tree a tree. You get what I'm saying? You're a habitual adulterer, you're an adulterer. You're a habitual fornicator, you're a fornicator. You're a habitual drunkard, you're a drunkard. It's not mean to say what you are. How you live, what you believe, what you say is what you are. The apostle John, he lived the longest. He died of old age. And he lived on into the second century, early second century. He wrote the Gospel of John, and this is church history. They say he wrote the Gospel of John primarily. Of course, the Holy Spirit led him, but it was to oppose the teachings of Serenthas. Because Serenthas did not accept the deity that Jesus Christ was fully God in the flesh. That's why John opens his Gospels. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God. And all things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. Because the early Gnostics also taught that there were two different creators. But Sophia is a central theme to all the Gnostics, even all their weird different versions that they had. Now, why would you try to add to any of this book with people who were deniers of Jesus Christ as God in the flesh? Why would you incorporate and try to make the Holy Spirit out to be Sophia unless you are demon possessed in your mind and your spirit, you're poisoned, and you're poisoning other people with this nonsense. I'm not here to win a Flat Earth popularity contest or any other contest.
Let me tell you something about celebrity, folks. Celebrity blinds. People get a little notoriety and all of a sudden, or they get around people that they think have a little bit of notoriety or fame or celebrity. And it's like everything goes out the window. All discernment goes out the window and it's a bunch of brown nose and sycophants. And that's what we got going on too. Even in the biblical cosmology, Flat Earth, revelation and movement. That's like, oh, he makes great Flat Earth videos. I don't care that he says the Holy Spirit is Sophia. I don't care that he says you gotta keep the law of Moses to be a real Christian that really loves God. I guess what I'm shocked about is how many people just go, ooh, that's you know who. I could show you the screenshots of just the personality worship. It's ridiculous. It goes right out the window. The truth goes right out the window. It doesn't matter. And that's why, you know, yesterday when I see, people have a hard time today. You know why? Because we've had these centuries now. We've had about a century of watered down preaching in the West. I say a century, probably really the last 50 years, definitely the last 30 years. The whole seeker sensitive mega church, watered it down, world council of churches type of stuff. Bill Hybels, Rick Warren. What's the one here? Chris Hodges. Who else? My missing, the big mega churches across the country. But the whole philosophy, what's that? Osteen, exactly. But the whole philosophy though is watered down so that we don't say anything that will offend people. And let me tell you, you can craft a message. Any preacher can do this. You can craft a message that says good, positive things that would make no one in the crowd upset. But the moment you say that if you live in certain sins,
you are a sinner and you are in trouble with God and that the only way to be forgiven of your sins is through confessing them and repenting them and actually feeling bad about it and going to Jesus and asking him to forgive you and wash you in his blood, that his blood would wash your sins away and that there is no other way. It's not church attendance. It's not baptism. It's not trying to be good. It's not trying to give to the poor. It's not all these other things. You must come to Jesus Christ by faith. We don't add circumcision or Sabbath keeping or feast keeping or anything else to this. No, the Ebionites did that and Serenthas did that. He thought you had to keep the law of Moses to be saved, to be really right with God. In the time of the apostle John, nothing new. I ought to read you some of the early church fathers quotes here, but I'm going to read some more of the scriptures first here. Let's read this one. Go to Isaiah chapter 30. Y'all don't mind if I preach for a minute, do you? I'm a little fired up this morning. Isaiah 30, this is what we have today. If they're a smooth talker, they're a sweet talker. This is why I know there's a lot of Christians who are gonna follow the Antichrist when he comes. Cause he's going to be a smooth talker. He's going to be sweet. He's going to talk about peace, world peace. Everybody getting along. What it says, this is Isaiah 30 verse eight, spirit of God, the Lord speaks to Isaiah says, now go, write it before them in a table and note it in a book that it may be for a time to come forever and ever. He says that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord. And of course the Tor heads are going to go, oh yeah, see, that's the law. No, it's new covenant law now. All Old Testament scriptures have to be taken in the context of the New Testament or you're off base. It's that simple. Which say to the seers, see not, and to the prophets prophesied not unto us right things but speak unto us smooth things, prophesied deceits. Speak to us smooth things. Don't tell us what's right. Speak, see, this whole mentality has been around.
This is Isaiah 750 BC. The people of God have always had this tendency. Don't tell us the truth. Speak to us smooth things, easy things, fables and myths. Don't tell us we're sinners. Don't tell us Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Don't tell us Jesus is God in the flesh. We wanna get along with everybody else. It says he's just a man. He says he'll get you, verse 11, get you out of the way. Turn aside out of the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. We don't really want, see here's the thing. When you don't really accept who the true God is, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When you don't accept the true God as he is, then you create one in the image you so desire. You either accept him, how he says he is, or you create your own. And that's what Islam has done in Buddhism and Hinduism and the whole new age and all the Gnostic type stuff. And many Christians really have created their own God. Cause they've created a God that thinks, God is good with however I wanna live my life. He's good and he's not sending anybody to an eternal hell or punishment. That's a big thing now. No hell, annihilationism. But it's exactly what Jesus taught. Luke 16, he made it clear. Two people died, one went. To paradise, the other one went into hell and lifted up his eyes being in torment in the flame. And Jesus told him, nobody's passing from one side to the other. Once there, you're not getting out. But we have these people come along. No, no, no, no, God's a loving God. Do you know where that came from? The early Gnostics, Serenthus, Marcion. No, no, no, no, no, the God of the New Testament's loving God, he's not like that God of the Old Testament. They created two gods, duality. No, no, no, no, God wouldn't judge you for sin and rebellion and disobedience. No, he wouldn't do that.
But they have a problem because if they keep reading the New Testament, the Bible says in Thessalon, Jesus is coming in flaming fire to take vengeance on those who know not God and those who disobey or don't obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. The wrath of the Lamb is coming upon the captains and the rich men, so much so that they will say, hide us from the wrath of the Lamb, from the one that sits on the throne. No, no, no, God's patience is his mercy and love, but don't ever think he's gonna let sin, rebellion, false teaching, deception, lies, wickedness, that he's just gonna let that go on forever. No, no, no, no, he's put a stop to it several times. You know, it's funny, the atheists and the agnostics and the Gnostic Christians, oh, why does God allow evil in the world? And then when he puts a stop to it, like the flood of Noah, oh, he's a terrible maniac killer. Can't have it both ways. There are some people dedicated to be wicked and evil their entire life. So you either take them out or let them continue. But see, the sinners out there, the people who depend on human reasoning or their demonic wisdom, that's why they never make logical sense. Why does God allow evil? Oh, wipe out those evil people right there. God's decided, oh, he's a bad guy. Wait a minute. Oh, God shouldn't have wiped out those evil people. Well, now, what place are you putting yourself in? All of a sudden, you're the God, right? You're the judge of what should or should not be done by God. But that's what the Gnostics did very early on because they couldn't handle this God of wrath and judgment. And that's why they did away with the issue of sin. Do you know that the doctrine of predestination of John Calvin came from the Gnostics? It came from the Gnostics. They're the ones said that if your spirit came from Sophia and you were one of us, you were enlightened by Sophia and her gnosis, her knowledge, that meant when you were one of the predestined ones to be saved, it didn't matter what your behavior or how you lived your life or how much you sinned or didn't sin. All that came from the Gnostics. And then Augustine adopted it and then Calvin adopted it. And then we have churches that teach it. But the Ebionites, the Ebionites were the Torah movement. It's really mind-blowing, isn't it?
Let's go to another Jeremiah chapter, I think it's chapter five, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, Jeremiah five. He says here, and he's talking about all of their issues, all of their sins. We're gonna go down to verse 29. The Lord speaks here, and speaking to his people who won't fear him, who won't tremble before him, who just have a rebellious heart. And he says in verse 29, shall I not visit for these things? And this visit, he means his judgment. Shall I not visit for these things, sayeth the Lord, shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? And then he says, there's a wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so. And what will you do in the end thereof? The problem is not with the false prophets and teachers that abound now. The problem is that the people of God love it and eat it up. And when anyone like me or somebody there takes a stand up and say, no, this is heresy. This is false teaching. This is demonic. This is blasphemy. This is error. I'm the bad guy. Because the smooth talker talks about love. You see? This is the way it goes. This is the game. I told my wife, this is the game. I've been dealing with this ever since God called me to the ministry. This is the game. Keep quiet. Don't tell anybody they're wrong. Don't rebuke. Don't correct. Don't instruct. Don't call out false doctrine and teaching. And you'll be loved by everyone pretty much. But you dare do it and say no. So what's beautiful is last year at the Flat Earth International Conference when I stood up and said, Jesus is the only way to eternal life. He's the only way to heaven. You must believe he died for your sins and rose from the dead. He's the only one that can forgive you and wash your sins away. There is no other way to escape hell and eternal damnation. That made the wicked in that room tremble. Some of them ran out in tears.
That's the gospel. I'm gonna go ahead and say, saying I have a biblical worldview, that's not preaching the gospel. No, the gospel is when you declare the way of salvation, plainly, clearly. Remember the Bible says that if you don't confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, if you don't believe, you're not gonna be saved. How can anyone in the audience get saved if you don't tell them Jesus died for their sins, rose from the dead and you have to believe that and you have to confess your sins and repent of your sins and you have to follow him if you want eternal life in heaven and escape the punishment and wrath of God in hell. That's the gospel. That's what offends them. That's what they hate, that it is God in the flesh, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, healed the sick, cleansed the leopards, raised the dead, test out demons, taught the truth, the Messiah, Emmanuel, the one called the Son, but also called the mighty God and the everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. If you don't declare Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, you are a heretic. If you say there's any other way or there's multiple ways to get forgiven or go to heaven, you are a heretic. If you say that this book, I don't know, some of it may be true and some of it not, you are a heretic. You're a false teacher, a deceiver. If you say, I've got to keep the Lord Moses to be saved or to be right with God, then you have printing another gospel. I'm sick of it. I'm done with it. It's heresy. Let's look at it. I want to show you that. Second Corinthians chapter 11. I may have to go a little longer. It's not 12 yet. We're okay. Paul said this, with the God that you could bear with me a little in my folly and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy, for I've espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear lest by any means is the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety. So your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached,
or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him. Paul was worried. He was worried about the Christians at Corinth being deceived by another Jesus, another gospel, another spirit. Let me tell you right now, there's a lot of people in this so-called truth movement, a lot of people in this so-called Torah movement, Hebrew roots movement, whatever you wanna call it, who are denying who Jesus is as the fullness of the Godhead bodily. If you don't preach Emmanuel, God with us, fully God, not just the right hand of God, Serenthus, the Gnostic, the early Gnostic that battled with the apostle John, he taught that Jesus was just a man and that the Christ Spirit came on him at the baptism. Not that he was the eternal word, son, aspect of the Godhead. No different. What does New Age say today? It's the Christ Spirit, it's the Christ consciousness. Can be in any of us. Which, what does that do? It makes Jesus not unique. He was just a man, but the Christ Spirit. That's what they say that basically the same Christ Spirit came on Buddha, came on Krishna, came on Mohammed, came on these different people that it was just a Christ consciousness to give us truth. You see? But where did this come from? Serenthus, first century. It's not New Age, it's old age. It's old age Gnosticism. It's old age demonic false teaching of the devil. That's why John wrote in 1 John 4, if they confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. God, the truth, one of the most fundamental truths of the Bible of the new covenant of who God is, is that God became a man. He didn't require another man, a different man to die for the sins of mankind. He died. He laid down his life. Jesus said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. I didn't make that up. That's John 14. So I don't understand how the Trinity works. Guess what? Join the club. A lot of people don't understand it. You don't have to understand. I don't understand how everything works in a computer either, but I use one.
I just know this, that God has three parts and he's one God. And I know when you look at Jesus, you are seeing according to Colossians, according to Matthew, according to Isaiah, according to Micah, you are seeing God almighty, the creator manifested in the flesh fully. Any diminishing of that, any diminishing is demonic heresy, false teaching and dangerous because you're preaching another Jesus, a different one. Listen, Deepak Chopra and Oprah preach a Jesus. They can say that the third Jesus, the third Jesus is coming. There's one Jesus and he is God in the flesh. And being God in the flesh laid down his life for the sins of mankind, paid for the penalty, made the way for you to escape the wrath of God. He knew no mortal mere human being, no mortal man could pay the price for other man's sins. How ridiculous is that? Once you go down that road, if Jesus is not fully God in the flesh, then you have gone down the road of complete heresy. You're taking away the whole means of salvation. Stephen couldn't pay for my sins. Jordan couldn't pay for my sins. Paul couldn't pay for my sins. It had to be God. It had to be the blood of God. And then when you say, you come along and you say, oh, oh, here the new covenant says, you just believe in Jesus and follow him according to the new covenant. And then he says, no, no, to be really right, you got to go back and try to keep the Sabbath and the feast and the new moons and the circumcision and the dietary laws. Paul said, if you did that, if that's what you do, he said, you're preaching another gospel, you're perverting the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's what Galatians was all about. And they hate, these people now, these Torah people hate Galatians. Why? Because it is the book written against that. Paul said that matter of fact, church historians, Eusebius says, Paul wrote Galatians against the teachings of Serenthus and the Ibbianites.
He wrote it for that purpose to deal with that era, that heresy. And you'll hear all kinds of stuff. Well, I just, we just don't understand what Paul was saying. I don't know, I understand it perfectly. Cause I'm not bothered by it. The only books in the Bible that bother you are the ones that are trying to uproot you from some false thinking or false theology. But the moment also you say that the Holy Spirit of the Father, the Spirit of Jesus Christ is feminine and akin to the God of Sophia, you are now putting forth a different spirit. Now, let me show you something. People think I'm too harsh, too harsh on old Zen Garcia. Oh, oh, and of course Zen and others, why don't you debate him? Let me tell you why I don't debate him. Just like John, I don't even wanna be in the same building with him anymore. Why? Why would I want to publicize and draw attention and an audience to his heresy more than he already has? I'm gonna read you some verses here. Y'all ready for this? First of all, let's look at blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, what it is. According to Jesus, not according to anybody else. Go to Matthew 12. And I'm gonna say this, I don't care who you are. If you agree with Zen's teaching that the Holy Spirit is feminine and Sophia, and you dare say that out of your mouth, you're blaspheme. But what Pastor D, the word spirit in the Hebrew is ruach and it's feminine. The word ruach by itself is just a general term for spirit. It can be evil spirit, good spirit, angel spirit. But the moment you put kodesh with it, Holy Spirit, guess what, kodesh is, it's a masculine. The word comforter in the Greek, when Jesus said, I'm gonna send you a comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, when he said the comforter, pericletos, pericletos. Masculine, masculine now. The word numa in Greek, meaning spirit,
which can mean by itself, can mean evil spirit, good spirit, angel spirit, God spirit. Numa, neutral, neuter, neutral. But you put the Spirit of God to that? The translators and all these different translations didn't get it wrong, him, he. This is a ridiculous argument. It's another ridiculous argument to say, well, wisdom in Proverbs is referred to a her. Well, yeah, so is the church referred to a her, but we all female in the church? No, it's actually figurative language. Don't say that around flat earthers because it can't be any more figurative or metaphors in the Bible. No, there are some. The church is referred to as a she, but it's not made up of all shes. Stop being an idiot and twisting things. This is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Oh, I guess I should use the biblical word then, in case I offend somebody by saying idiot, idiot, right? So we'll say brutish, the nice King James word means stupid, okay? That's what brutish means. That's in King James, though. So we'll use that instead of idiot or stupid. You're brutish, okay? Let me tell you, anything that departs from these sound, clear doctrines about it is stupid. It's foolish, it's dangerous. If you continue in the word, Jesus said, then you're my disciples indeed. You'll get to depart from the word and still be a disciple, right? Here's what he says here. Here's the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. And I just received a text, I'm gonna say this from Nathan Roberts that I love you, love you too, brother. Appreciate the fact that Nathan Roberts has some guts to stand for the truth of God's word and he don't care what people think. I appreciate that right there. I love that, all right? So shout out to Nathan Roberts. Hey, gotta have a little fun. Matthew 12, and listen, because I rebuke somebody or correct somebody or don't agree with somebody, does not mean I don't love them. In fact, I love them enough to tell them the truth and hopefully they will repent. Though I don't know if there's coming back from this one or not. That's gonna be up to God, I can't say. But blasphemy of the Holy Spirit's a serious matter.
And we shouldn't take it lightly or just brush it off as if it's not a serious thing. So look at Matthew 12. Let's look at the story. Go to verse 22. I'll let Kevin put that up there for you. Matthew 12, verse 22. Then was brought unto him that is unto Jesus, one possessed with the devil, blind and dumb, and healed him in so much that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. And all the people were amazed and said, it's not this the son of David. And when the Pharisees heard it, they said, this fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beals above, the prince of the devils. And Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation in every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself, how shall then his kingdom stand? But if I by Beals above cast out devils, by who do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man and then he will spoil his house. He that is not with me is against me and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you that all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him, but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Notice he says he that speaks against the Holy Spirit. Now what pushed Jesus to say this? What provoked him to say this? Jesus just cast demons out of a boy and that boy was healed. And then Jesus says, and we'll skip a little down, but basically Jesus says, when he was casting demons out of people that he did that by the spirit of God, by the Holy Spirit in him. It was the Holy Spirit working through him. And the moment you take the work of the Holy Spirit or who the Holy Spirit is, and like the Pharisees say, no, it's not the Holy Spirit, it's Beelzebub. It's the chief of the devils. Jesus said, whoa, boys, you think the devil's fighting the devil? Are you that stupid? Why would the devil fight himself? He's not fighting himself. In fact, what Jesus was saying to them, the fact that I'm casting demons out of people ought to prove to you whose side I'm on.
But I cast out devils by the spirit of God. And you wanna say that the spirit of God who's driving out demons is a demon? You're speaking against the Holy Ghost now, not even against me. You're not speaking against me, you're speaking against the Holy Spirit. All right, Dave Murphy the other day on that video said the demon, I'm not possessed with your demon Holy Spirit. This is gone to a whole new level. But Sophia within, listen, I don't care if it's the Kabbalah or the Kabbalah, in the Jewish occult mysticism, there is a female goddess named Emma or Emma O, all right? They believe in this. You can go trace this all the way back. Ancient Jewish mysticism, they always tried to incorporate a goddess. That's why Roman Catholics did it. They just joined in the club, all right? But they was always trying to throw a goddess in there. Lilith, asterisk, always trying to throw a goddess in there. And so the early, all the early Gnostics was all about, oh yeah, we believe in the God of the Bible. Some of them say, we believe in the God of the Old Testament or we believe in Jesus, but they would throw in. But there's a feminine part to the Trinity or to the Godhead called Sophia. The moment you say, Holy Spirit feminine Sophia, you have just said that the Holy Spirit of God is a demon or akin to or likened to or is a demon goddess of Gnosticism. What is that? It's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. You've just attributed demonic qualities that's not in God's word to the Holy Spirit. You're speaking against. Now, and also here's another thing, the danger of this. If you say this, then young Christians, new believers, or maybe people that are right on the verge of becoming Christians are going to feel like they can go down this road of this endless sewer hole of extra biblical writings.
And then we're in trouble. I mean, I think about some of the things the Gospel of Thomas and Philip says. The Gospel of Thomas and Philip that they dug up says that women are so bad that God won't even save them and that he has to turn them into a man first before he can save them. And you're going to take doctrine from that. Now, just because I say that the Holy Spirit is not feminine or Sophia does not mean I think women are second class. I think we made that clear just a few weeks ago. But you know, I'm going to be kind of frank this morning about this, because one of the big things is that God made them both male and female, created them, and because male and female human beings are created in the image of God, therefore, God must have a female part. You know, here's the, here, let me just give you a quick little anatomy lesson. Okay, men and women are pretty much the same. We have a heart, we have lungs, we have a head, we have ears, we have eyes, we have nose, we're pretty much the same except for some other parts, right? Just a little bit, just a little different. Now, let me ask you something. When God says He created us in His image, does that mean He has to have both parts? How ridiculous is that? That is human reasoning, a really demonic reasoning. Because again, who's the God, the demon God that has both parts at the same time? Baphomet. She's saying our God is like Baphomet? No, He's not. And I should say, not just, you know, different between men and women, not just a couple of different parts, but just I think they get a little stronger dose of estrogen than we do. But interesting men still have that estrogen, right? And testosterone. So, where was the woman taken from? Man, right. So, but again, ridiculous argument. This is the big argument though. I mean, but am I a different kind of man if I have blue eyes or green eyes or brown hair or black hair or blonde hair? We have differences anyway. Some are tall, some are short, right? We have differences. It's just amazing.
You're willing to take, and this, a lot of this stuff out here, the reason it is, it gets into this stuff is because it is human reasoning. It is demonic, remember James said, there's two kinds of wisdom. There's one that comes from above and there's one that comes from beneath. Well, let me tell you how to recognize the one, the wisdom that comes from beneath. It sounds logical or sometimes a bit logical or reasonable, but the problem with it, it will always take away from the scripture or diminish who Jesus is, always, or do away with something that the prophets and the apostles taught. It'll just say, you know what, that doesn't exist the way that, you know, Jesus, we like the parts where Jesus talks about love your neighbor, but we don't like the part where he talked about Lazarus and the rich man and the rich man lifting up his eyes in hell and begging for one drop of water. We don't like that part. So, that's not, that shouldn't be in there. Just say, right? Now, I could keep going. I do want to read something though. I want to read this to you. This right here, this is a great book right here. Ancient church fathers, what the disciples of the apostles taught right here. Talks about the Gnostics. I mean, there's a whole section on the Gnostics right back here. I mean, even mantras came from the Gnostics. You know that? Pretty wild, huh? But listen to this. Ignatius, let me read Ignatius. Let me talk about the Sabbath real quick for keeping the law most. Ignatius was discipled by Paul and by Peter. He lived from A.D. 30 to 107. Direct disciple of the apostle, Paul and Peter. This is what he said in his writings. Christians do not observe the Sabbath, but the Lord's day. Since we're talking about this stuff. Justin Martyr, Christians do not offer sacrifices of blood or incense, but by praise, God is triune. In his first apology, 67 Christians meet together on Sunday in his Justin Martyr's dialogue. 10 Christians live like all other Gentiles, not observing the festival, Sabbath, new moon, or the right of circumcision. Dialogue 11 of Justin Martyr, Christ did away with the entire law of Moses and circumcision. Dialogue 19, circumcision, food law, Sabbath were for teaching. Circumcision began with Abraham and the Sabbath and the rest began with Moses. Circumcision began with Abraham. The Sabbath sacrifices offerings and fees began with Moses. But we go Irenaeus, 178, Jesus and the Father are the only true God. Jesus gave Moses the dispensation of the law. The law started with Moses, ended with John. Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets did away with the Mosaic law, gave a new covenant.
These are the guys, Irenaeus, disciple of Polycarp, Polycarp, disciple of John. These are what these guys taught long before the Roman Catholic Church came into existence in 313 A.D. revelation. Don't start giving me the, I can just go through church history, church leader after church leader. You know the other day, and I'm just gonna say this, this person will know who I'm talking about. But I've tried to stay away from names for the most part today. Though Paul did name names, as did John. But I digress. It was said by someone at that conference on a panel when the question came up about the scriptures and being by men and being changed and all this stuff, and that whole setup that happened. First Corinthians 16, where Paul talks about the disciples gathering on the first day of the week, right? And so, instead of going into some of the proofs and some of the evidences of why we can trust the Bible, this individual went into, well you know, that says the word there for week, the first day of the week, is the word sabaton in the Greek. So what he's really saying was the first day of the Sabbath. But there's a problem with that. Let me tell you why. This is the kind of dishonest stuff that goes on, because this person of course is a Torah observer and a Sabbath keeper and thinks we all have to keep, still have to keep Sabbath, even though the Bible, New Testament says we don't. Still have to keep. All right. What he says there, sabaton. Now the word sabaton, if you look it up, in any lexicon it's gonna tell you, it can mean either Sabbath or week, a seven day week, right? It can be used interchangeably. And you see that, because Luke, what is it? Luke 12, 18, or 1812, I can't remember now, or 812. Anyway, where it says, remember the Pharisee said, I fast twice in a week. Guess what? Sabaton. So are there two Sabbaths in a week? No. I fast twice in a week. They're talking about every week. Well the word week, there's sabaton. So it depends on the context, right? But they didn't say that from the platform, because they have an agenda to push Torah observance. And I know this is gonna tick them off, I don't care, it's the truth, right? So what it said when he said that that wasn't talking about the first day of the week, the disciples meeting on the first day of the week, which is Sunday, and he said that wasn't true, it is true. So that was a lie, it's a deception, to fulfill the agenda. This is what I'm talking about. You gotta be careful, because we got the Ebionites out here,
we got the Serenthians, we've got the Marcyonia Knights, or whatever they call them. You got the Manichaeans. He said, who, Pastor Dean, what are you talking about? These are all different little groups that were around in the first and second century that had their own beliefs, and their own little groups. And in fact, Paul and them were saying, Paul and them and the apostles were fighting all of this. Again, I'm saying this just to say, but it's not just Pastor Dean taking a stand against this stuff. The Apostle John, the Apostle Peter, the Apostle Paul, were fighting these beliefs and these false doctrines and ideas very early on. You start reading some of the church history, or just go home, do your own homework, look up Serenthas, and just read about him a little bit. And you'll see, wow, now I understand as I read the Gospel of John, and first John and second John, what who he was battling and what he was battling. And let's close with this. Actually, I'm gonna give you two more passages we quit, all right? Because there's a lot of people think, well, well, now just love them and hang out with them and don't make a big deal out of it. Second John, we'll read second John, then we're gonna read Romans 16, and we're gonna be done. Second John, chapter one, it's only one chapter, very short, but the Apostle John says this, if you think doctrine is not important, hear what he said here. Whosoever transgressed it, this is verse nine, I'm sorry. Whosoever transgressed and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. Ouch! The doctrine of Christ, who he is, God in the flesh, the one who preached repentance from sin, the one who said I am the way, the truth, and the life, the one who said if you don't believe in me, you will die in your sins, the one who taught about hell more than anybody else in the New Testament, the one who taught about heaven, if you transgressed and abide not in the doctrine of Christ, what he taught and what he had his apostles teach, you don't have God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Why do you think he said both the Father and the Son? Because the Gnostics said they were two different gods. The Old Testament God was not it, just the New Testament. That's why he said that.
Then look at verse 10. If there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God's speed, for he that bideth him God's speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Anybody preaching another Jesus, another gospel, another spirit? So you're not even supposed to receive them into your house. You're not even supposed to say God bless you. Why? Because they're leading people astray. Now let's finish with one more. Romans chapter 16. This will be the last one, I promise. Romans 16. This is another reason I'm not gonna sit down with Zen. Because listen, if I did, it's real simple. I would go through the scriptures. I would go through the Hebrew and Greek definitions just like I did today. I would say, here's what the gospel of Thomas and Philip says, here's where the teaching comes from. It doesn't come from the Bible. Here's where it comes from Gnosticism. I would wipe the floor with his demonic intellectual wisdom. Just wipe the floor with him. Everyone would see that he's gotta take his doctrines out of Gnostic books or the Zohar, and I'm sticking to the Bible. And that if he does use the Bible, he tries to twist it with his agenda. And I'm not giving him a platform to do it. I'm not taking my name, my audience. I'm not leading people to that by some big public debate. Not gonna do it. Has nothing to do with fear because I would destroy him in a debate. All right? Because truth is on my side. All right? Romans 16, verse 17 through 19. Now I beseech you brethren, mark them which cause divisions and contrary and offense Israeli or stumbling blocks, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly. Maybe they're making a living off of selling Gnostic books. And by good words and fair speeches, deceive the hearts of the simple. Good words and fair speeches. Does this say hang out with them? Does this say even to eat with them? No, this says, mark them which cause divisions and stumbling blocks offenses contrary to the doctrine, which you have learned sound doctrine, biblical doctrine and avoid them. This is why the apostle John found out Serenthus was in the bath house and left.
John was so, I don't even want it to be said. We were in the same place together. And they said that John said the building may fall down because he's the enemy of all truth. I like the apostle John. There's so many writings out there folks that have been forged, but Ecclesiastes 1.9. Nothing new under the sun. All these heresies, Sophia, feminine Holy Spirit. You got to keep the law of Moses and the Sabbath to really be right with God. And listen, they talk out of both sides of the mouth too. One minute they'll say, no, no, no, we don't believe. We don't believe you have to keep the law and the feast and the Sabbath. You don't have to keep that to be safe. And then they go, but it's fruit that you are. Well, wait a minute. Then that means if I don't have that fruit, then I'm not saved, doesn't it? You can't talk out of both sides of your mouth. It's either required or not required as a salvation issue one way or the other. And this one particular individual that pushes this, I heard him say, I listened to the teaching. If you don't keep Torah like they do, or try to at least, you're the five foolish virgins. You haven't awakened yet. You're the ones that can be left out. But then they'll claim it's not salvation issue. I'm not gonna play these games. I'm not gonna play these games. I'm gonna keep pounding it till Jesus comes. Or until one of the Torah terrorists tried to kill me, or they succeed. But I'm not gonna quit. They say, oh, I'm not listening to him anymore. I mean, you think about God's call upon Ezekiel. I'm gonna send you to a people and they're not gonna listen to you. How'd you like that calling? I'm not sending you to the mission field, son. I'm gonna send you to the rebellious house of Israel and they're not gonna listen to you at all. Have a good ministry. I'm surprised anybody does listen to me, actually. It's a shocker. Must be some people are really, really, really, really, really, really, really love God's word. More than they love themselves or sin or their celebrity hip preacher. All right, let's stand.
Somebody say, hallelujah. Or as the old Pentecostal preachers used to say, after a message like this, it's amen or old me. It's all right, though. You know what? They can say what they want about me on Judgment Day. Their blood's not gonna be on my hands. Can false teachers repent of their false teaching and come back to the fold? Yes. Blast fingers of the Holy Spirit? I hope so. They better seek God. I think about what Peter said to Simon Magus. Actually, Simon Magus, Simon the Sorcerer. His real name was, full name was Simon Magus. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Sounds like Magus. But you gotta remember, he believed in Jesus. Go read Acts chapter eight. He believed in Jesus and then was baptized by Philip, the evangelist, and was in all of the miracles he saw happening. It wasn't that he didn't believe in Jesus. He believed. But then the apostles come, Peter and John, and they start praying for people and they start being baptized in the Holy Spirit and the gifts began to manifest there, obviously, because it says he saw something happen, not just, right? And he said, I'll tell you what, man, I'll give you money so I can have this power, too. Now, the apostle Peter turns to him, and this is the Holy Spirit. The apostle Peter turns to him and said, your money perish with you. He said, I perceive that you are still in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity, and you need to pray if perhaps God may forgive you. He didn't say it's automatic. This is where we go wrong. Oh yeah, God, what? No, he was saying, you know what? You better get serious about this, son, because you're in such a bad place that God may not forgive you. Guess what happened? Simon didn't take that seriously, and he became one of the early enemies of the apostles. This is not a game. Forgive me, but then you keep going on. No, that's not the way it works. You better get down, because listen, if you've been teaching false teaching for a long time, then you've been leading a lot of people astray. You better shake and tremble in the fear of God and better repent in dust and ashes, and you better be serious about it, and perhaps, perhaps the Lord will forgive you. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, I come to you today, and I thank you, Lord, for your word that's true.
Jesus, you said, man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Lord, I thank you that you gave us your prophets and your apostles, and that you breathed your word into them and through them, and that, Lord, every bit of it is true, and every bit of it that you foretold, the prophecies are all coming to pass, and, Lord, hundreds and even, Lord, thousands have come to pass. I pray that people out there wake up and come out of these heresies that are not new false teachings or tribes and groups, but just very old, but just being repeated in our day. Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that people will truly humble themselves and repent of being Ebionites and Serenthians and Gnostics and mixing that in with New Testament Christianity. The people that try to diminish who you are is God Almighty in the flesh who died for our sins and rose from the dead. We exalt Jesus, the name above every name. They wanna talk about Yah and Yahuwah and all these names. The name of Jesus is above every name. So, Lord, we thank you. We praise you. I pray that people will be delivered and saved out of these lies and deception and this blasphemy of the Holy Spirit before they go too far down that road. And we pray this all today in Jesus' name, amen.
