But the face of the Lord is against them who do evil. To what? To cut off the remembrance of them from the land. And it's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a mighty God. It's a fearful day to fall into the hands of the almighty God that sits before the golden throne. Amen. So let's give the Lord the glory due to his name today. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Praise God. Thank you Jesus for your goodness tonight. I know this is a new song, but let's call the land of the living free. Let's pay attention to the words. And as we sing the song, let's do our best to mean them. Mean the words. Mean what we're singing. Wake me up, Lord. Feel my cup blow till I'm yearning for you. With your power, Holy Spirit, till I'm burning for you. Oh, holy, holy fire of God, move upon me. Keep my soul from death, my tears, my feet from falling. I draw near to you, oh Lord. Draw near to me. And I will praise you in the land of the living free. The land of the living free. I will love you because you hear me

There's power in the blood of Jesus. We overcome by the word of our testimony, by the blood of the lamb. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus, for keeping us today. Jesus, thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Lord, we choose to praise you today in the land of the living, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. We love you, Lord. And we just worship you this morning, Lord. I love you Lord for your mercy never fails me. And all my days I've been held in your hands. From the moment that I wake up till I lay my head. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Cuz all my life you have been faithful. Cuz all my life you have been so so good. With every breath that I am able, oh I will sing of the goodness of God. I love your voice. You have led me through the fire and in darkest night. You are close like no other. known you as a father. I've known you as a friend. Oh, and I have lived in the goodness of God. Thank you, Jesus. Cuz all my life you have been faithful. You're faithful. All my life you have been so so good. With every breath that I am able. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, that you've been faithful. Let's sing that again. Cuz all my life you have been faithful. You've been faithful.
And all my life you have been so so good with every breath that I am able. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Your goodness, your goodness is running after. It's running after me. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. With my life laid down, surrender it down. Not give you everything. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. Cuz all my life cuz all my life you have been faithful. You've been faithful. And all my life you have been so so good. With every breath that I am aable. Oh I will sing of the goodness of God. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Oh, I will sing the goodness of God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Let's sing that one more time. All my life, cuz all my life you have been faithful. And all my life you have been so so good. With every breath that I made. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Everybody that can pray in the spirit, let's just pray in the spirit right here. Jesus. Lord Jesus, we call on you.
Jesus, this time in our worship, Lord, thank you, Jesus. We call upon you, Lord Jesus. We ask that you'd answer our heart's cry. Lord God, we ask that you would just speak to us, Lord Jesus. Say what you would have us to hear, Lord, in Jesus name. You are faithful. Thank you, Lord Jesus. The eye of the Lord runs to and fro throughout the earth. Jesus, seeking a heart that is truly his Lord, he sees all things. He knows all things and he loves us, but he's just a judge. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Thank you. Let's just press into the Lord this morning. I know we've all thinking about things and and you've just got things on your mind, but let's just lay it all down because the only thing that really matters is his presence. The only thing that really matters is walking with the Lord. So, let's just put our eyes on him this morning. Just press into him. Thank you, Jesus. Let's just sit here at his feet this morning like Mary. Thank you, Jesus. I'm caught up in your presence. And I just want to sit here at your feet. I'm caught up in this holy moment. And I never want to leave. Is that true? No. I'm not here for blessings. Jesus, you don't owe me anything. More than anything that you can do, I just want you.
And I'm sorry when I've just gone through the motions. I'm sorry when I just sang another song. Take me back to where we started. I open up my heart to you. And I'm sorry when I've come my agenda. I'm sorry when I forgot that you're enough. Take me back to where we started. I open up my heart to you. Cuz I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else, nothing else will do. When the music fades and all is stripped away and I simply come longing just to bring something that's a word that will bless your heart. I'll bring you more than a song. For a song in itself is not what you have required. You search much deeper within. Through the way things appear, you're looking into my heart. And I'm coming back to the heart of worship. And it's all about you. It's all about you, Jesus. I'm sorry, Lord, for you waiting. It's all about you. It's all about you, Jesus. Now I'm coming back to the heart of worship. But it's all about you.
It's all about you, Jesus. I'm sorry, Lord, for the play of faith. But it's all about you. It's all about you, Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Cuz I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just for you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. I just want you. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else will do. Yes, Lord. Nothing else will do. nothing else. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus, we worship you, mighty woman, holy one, the first and the last. Lord, we worship you. You are the Almighty. You're not just the son. You are the Almighty. The fullness of God in the flesh. We worship you today. That you came here, died on a cross for our sin so we could be forgiven. So there could be a way made for us to be reconciled and restored, God, to fellowship with you and to have eternal life. And you rose from the dead to prove that you are the author of life. And you're the author and finisher of our faith. We just lift up the wonderful name of Jesus this morning. Jesus Christ of Nazareth who died and rose from the dead. The Jesus of the Bible, the Lord of glory, the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
Oh Lord, you are the holy one, the faithful high priest, everything that we need. You are the the word. We're grateful, Lord. You are the way, the truth, and the life. And we we choose you. We choose your word, your truth, your way. Not our way, not the world's way, your way. Any other way leads to hell. Lord, we choose to follow you. Not just believe, but to follow. Lord, we worship you today. Jesus name we pray. May say amen. Hallelujah. Well, you may be seated this morning. Welcome everyone. Hallelujah. It is a good thing to worship the Lord. Amen. He is worthy of it. You know, the one who made everything can make the rules and be worthy of our reverence and our love. Amen. I got a lot of scriptures to get into this morning. Is that okay? You know, sometimes I think every preacher ought to do this on occasion, but while I was back there singing and worshiping the Lord, I was thinking, what if today was the last sermon that I ever was going to give? What would I say to you? And I got to thinking about the message I prepared for you. And one of the things about, and this is a word to ministers and ministers to be out there, if you listen to the Lord, you listen to what the Holy Spirit's saying, you really don't have those regrets later on. Um, I was looking at this and I was thinking about it today and I said, you know, if this was the last one, I'm good with it because you know what? I'm going to keep pointing you to one thing. and that is to follow Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength according to the scriptures. Amen. Everything's according to the scriptures. If not, then you can just wander around out there and be lost, right? Well, if you got your Bibles, I want you to turn with me. First of foremost, just turn to uh First Corinthians 4.
But before we look at that, you can go ahead and put up the title this morning. I've just called this blind oblivious sheep. Blind oblivious sheep. And you can put up the definition for those of you that don't know what oblivious means. Let's help you out here. All right. Oblivious means not aware or not concerned about what is happening around oneself. You know, I think what blows my mind in the church world among Christians is the nonchalant attitude that they have about church, about worship, about the scriptures, about truth. this nonchalant whatever you know it doesn't really matter that much. I'm going to show you what that is today because what that really is is that is total irreverence toward God. That is it shows a complete lack or absence of the fear of God. And um you know something when when the Lord called me to the ministry um he emphasized to me in a very powerful way um the passage in in John the gospel of John where after he rose from the dead you know Peter had denied the Lord and they had their first interaction after that and the Lord kept asking Peter do you love me this question do you love me and Peter said, "Lord, I love you. You know I love you." And I'm not going to get into all the variations and nuances of the Greek and everything that was going on there. But the main message was over and over, every time Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?" And Peter answered, and then the Lord would say, "Feed my sheep. Feed my lambs." Now, for those of us who are called to the five-fold ministry, and listen, not everybody, I know in the charismatic world, everybody's called to the ministry. I don't believe that. I don't believe everybody's called to the five-fold ministry. Everybody's called to the ministry of reconciliation, to preach the gospel, to share the gospel, to share their testimony. But not everyone is called to be either an apostle, a prophet, evangelist, a pastor, a teacher, or some combination of those. But to those who are called to the five-fold ministry, you have a little bit different responsibility than everyone else because the Lord connects your faithfulness to feed the sheep to whether you love him or not. Woo. There's some preachers out there because they do not feed God's sheep with true the true sincere milk of the word and the true meat of the word.
What they are proving by their lack of feeding the sheep is that they don't love Jesus and they don't love his word and they don't love the truth. And this is why we have one of well one of the reasons why you can go back to the title page why we have so many blind oblivious sheep is because we have a bunch of blind oblivious shepherds as well. Now I've talked a lot about these guys but here I'm going to show you why why there's so many blind sheep. Now go to first Corinthians back to 1 Corinthians 4 1 and 2. I'm going to show you this. The Lord says that it ministers his five-fold ministers. And if you want to check that, that's a Ephesians 4 starting at verse 11. He said, 'Let a man so account of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. Now, just mark these down. There is the milk of the word. That's what Peter said in uh 1 Peter 2:2. He said what? As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby. So really, it's up to back to the sheep again. It's up to the sheep to desire the milk of the word. And then it's up to the pastor, the shepherd, the five-fold minister to make sure that he gives you the milk of the word. And what is that? Those things are the foundational doctrines of Christianity, of the Bible. Repentance, faith toward God, baptisms plural, tongues, interpretation of tongues, and all the rest of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, right? Our job is to teach you the fundamentals of what is salvation? What does it mean to be born again? Right? Now, let me just go on and tell you right now that most of the ministers don't even give the milk of the word. Paul told the Corinthians, he said, "I've I fed you with milk and not with meat because you weren't able to handle it." But at least he had fed them with milk. He had preached repentance and what true faith is and what being born again was all about. He talked about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how the church is supposed to operate. He talked about the second coming of Jesus. He talked about the inspiration of the scriptures, the inspiration that they're all inspired by God and profitable for doctrine. And on and on and on. Paul
gave the milk, but he also gave the meat. The meat of the word is when you go a little deeper. The Bible talks about the deeper things of God. And let me just go on and tell you, if you're going to grow up spiritually, at some point you better go beyond just drinking milk. It's why God put teeth in your mouth to chew something. Right now, when we see a 12year-old still breastfeeding, we got a problem. Right? We are supposed to start eating solid food when we grow up. Right? But here's the thing, a lot of these guys never ever become faithful ministers because remember in the parable of the faithful servant in Luke 12, it says, "Who then is that wise and faithful servant who will give his children what? meet in due season. A lot of them never get to that. But let me just go on and tell you right now, just because 99% of these cats don't do their job, it's still your responsibility to take off the blindfold and find somebody who is You understand? We can blame the the these these ministers all day long, but these guys wouldn't be in business if these people didn't sit here and keep funding them. Oh, it's quiet in here as a Lutheran church today. But see, God called ministers, the ministers, his true ministers. We're not supposed to just give the milk the meat, but also we're stewards of the mysteries of God. And what is the word mysteries mean? And I'm just going to give you the definition. I don't think I sent it to you guys. Must it's mion. And I'm not mispronouncing that. Musterion. Musterion. But one of the interesting that the theer's Greek dictionary says a hidden or secret thing not obvious to the understanding. Want to hear that? Not obvious to the understanding. Now put this up. Uh Proverbs 25:E2. We talked about this verse last night. at dinner.
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings to search out the matter. Now, the mysteries of the scripture are the things that God chose to conceal in a way. And let me explain how he conceals. The Bible is like a puzzle. It's like a box full of puzzle pieces, right? And God's made it that way because he has concealed certain pictures of things, certain truths, certain understandings. He's concealed him. Because if you're going to be his kings and his priests like you're supposed to be, it is your honor to search out, meaning set down, study to show yourself approved, take off the blindfold, and search it out. You hear me? Now, as for us ministers, our job is simply to be a little bit ahead of you maybe in the book and to simply point you to some of these things. We are not the originators of these mysteries. We are the stewards of them, the managers. You understand? And my job is to make sure that you get them, that you get understanding. Now, here's what's mindblowing about all this. Jesus was the perfect teacher. He had the spirit without measure. God manifested in the flesh. You would never sin. And when he would preach and teach, think about this for a second. He would preach and teach both the milk, the meat, and the mysteries. And what blows my mind is people would sit there and listen to him and still not get it. And he was the perfect teacher. So let me just say this to especially some of you young ministers. Just understand this. If they didn't listen to Jesus, they're not going to listen to you either. So don't be surprised when nobody wants you to preach, when they mock you when you go to the street corner, right? And don't be surprised. Let's go back to our sheet picture. Don't be surprised when these people hate you because you want to take off the mask. You want to take off the blindfold.
They like to keep things just the way they are. And anybody that starts preaching some meat or talking about some mysteries, oh Lord, that's blasphemy, right? And let's let's go to this. Let's go. Go to um go to Matthew chapter 13. Matthew 13 verse 10. And this is after Jesus gave the parable of the swer that sws what we know is the word. We say the word of God. Who's the swer? Well, Jesus is the ser. Yeah, he's the he's the initial swer. But ministers, pastors, we are the swers of the word. We're supposed to sow the word, right? And then he says this. He he gives this parable. And the disciples came and said unto him, Why speak thou unto them in parables? And he answered, and he said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath. He says, "Therefore speak I to them in parables because seeing uh they seeing see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And is in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, saying, "By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand, and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive. For this people's heart is waxed, gross or hard, calloused, and their ears are dull of hearing, their spiritual ears, and their eyes have they closed. Doesn't say somebody closed their eyes for them. It doesn't say somebody poked their eyes out and blind them. It says their eyes they have closed. don't want to know. Can I say this to you? Much spiritual blindness is self-inflicted. I'm going to show you why. People want to blame this on God doing this. No, it's self-inflicted. And then he goes on to say, he says, 'Lless they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them. And then he tells them, but blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears for
they hear. For verily I say unto you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see and have not seen them, and to hear those things which you hear and have not heard them. And then he explains the parable of the swer and the and the seed. Now let's go to this. I'm going to show you this. Go to uh Psalm 25. I'm going show you why it's self-inflicted. Psalm 25 if I can get there myself. Y'all with me. All right. Now, David's praying. I'm not going to read the whole thing, but let's go down. David's praying. He's talking to the Lord. Verse six. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy loving kindness, for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions, according to thy mercy. Remember thou me for thy goodness sake, O Lord. Good and upright is the Lord. Therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek he will guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way. First of all, the meek. The humble. The humble. The humble. Humility. Humble people say, "I don't know everything. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's some folks I need to listen to. Maybe there's some things I haven't seen. Maybe I am blind in some areas. Maybe I have some blind spots. The problem with Let's go back to our sheet picture real quick. The problem with these people is that they think they see. This is what Jesus said to the Pharisees. You think you see, but you are blind. But why are you blind? Your pride. You think you know everything. I've been in this thing 40 years. I remember the old preacher say, "I've been in the way 40 years." You've been in the way for 40 years. So many people think they see. I mean, just this whole creation debate, I marvel at what's happening. It's it's kind of becoming a a line in the sand just like a number, you know, 30 years ago was the abortion issue was kind of the line in the sand in the church and then it was homosexuality.
Now it's the creation. Are we going to go with the biblical account or the world's account? And Christians are dividing over this and attacking other Christian. That's some dude calling me a liar. And I'm like, all I did is quote the scriptures. You're a liar. And I'm like, "Yeah, and this is what you are blind." And you're blind because you're prideful and think you know everything and you have put the blindfold on yourself. And that's the scariest thing is that you can do it to yourself. Remember what Jesus said to the Leodysian church. He said, "Because you are lukewarm." Of course, he said, "I'm going to vomit you, spit you out of my mouth, out of my body." But he said what he said about them. He said, "Anoint your eyes so yet you may be that you may see." He said, "You're blind." He said, "You don't even know that you are lukewarm." These people right here, they sit in these dead, lukewarm churches and think they see. And it's self-inflicted because they refuse to humble themselves and admit, "I don't know everything. I might need to learn something. I might need to find a pastor different than this guy right here that actually can give me some milk, some meat, and some mysteries and explain some things to me. But see, a lot of people are so satisfied to sit right here because here costs nothing but a tithe. You don't have to change anything. You don't have to suffer persecution. You don't have to suffer rejection. You don't have to do anything but sit in the pew and make sure you put something in the offering. It's comfortable. It's easy. And they go through this little ritual of going to church and hearing this guy. And they just all stay blind. back to pro uh Psalm 25. He says, "The meek will he guide in judgment or discernment. The meek will he teach his way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth." Somebody say truth right now. Not just mercy, truth. God will never compromise truth. Mercy does not compromise truth.
He says, "All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth to everyone." Y'all following along? Nobody's protesting in here. That's not what it says. Y'all better be pay attention. He didn't say to everyone. He said, "Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies." Can I pause for a second? The Lord's mercies and his his path of mercy and truth that he wants to lead you in is for those who keep his covenant. What is a covenant? A covenant is the relationship you agreed to. The relationship covenant you agreed to as a Christian is I'm going to give up my sin. I'm going to repent and turn from my sin and my own way of doing things for your forgiveness. Right? It's called the great exchange. I exchange my sins, but I also give up my own will and my own way. And for what you give me, I give you my life. But see, blind sheep, blind, oblivious sheep, you know what they do? Oh, Jesus loves me. Jesus forgives me. And it's automatic. Once saved, always save thing, right? My sins are forgiven past, present, and future. No matter what I do. Convenient. Convenient. No, you don't understand covenant. And notice he put there together two things. Those who keep his covenant and his testimonies, his word. Oh, but I have a relationship with Jesus, but I don't believe all that Bible. No, you don't. You don't have a relationship with Jesus. You're lying to yourself. Because the covenant has to do with his keeping his testimonies, his word, following him according to his word, his the scriptures. You don't follow Jesus. I'm just going to create my own way, my own path. No, you don't. And this is the problem here. It gets better. Psalm 25 continues. He says, "For thy name's sake, oh Lord, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great. What man is he that fearth the Lord? Him shall he teach in the way he shall choose? His soul shall dwell at ease, and his seed shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him, and he will show them his covenant.
Oh my Lord, the secret of the Lord is with them that fear him. Now, I want to show you something. Go to Proverbs chapter 1. Just remember, hold your spot there on Psalm 25. We're going to come back to it. Go to Proverbs 1. Y'all keeping up? Proverbs 1. Go down to verse 22. I love this. He says, "How long, ye simple ones, will you love simplicity?" Basically, or how long will you love milk? When you going to grow up? He said, "And the scorners delight in their scorning." That's the the ones who mock and fight the word of God. He says, "And the fools hate knowledge. Turn you at my reprove. Behold, if you turn at my reprove, my correction, I will pour out my spirit unto you, and I will make known my words unto you. So here again, the Lord says, if you will turn from your religious attitude and quit loving simplicity, he says, I will make known my words to you. But then he says, "Because I have called and you refused. I have stretched out my hand and no man regarded, but you have said it not my counsel." Just set it to the side as if it was nothing. And you would none of my reproof. I also will laugh at your calamity, and I will mock when your fear cometh. When your fear cometh as desolation and destruction cometh as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish cometh upon you, then shall you call upon me, but I will not answer. They shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. For they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord. Can a part pause right there? because you didn't listen when God brought the knowledge of the word of God to you and you made light of it. The Lord, this is what's scary. The Lord says, "I'm going to laugh when your calamity comes. I'm going to laugh at you. I'm gonna laugh at you because you didn't listen. You didn't listen. And then he says these words, you did not choose the fear of the Lord. Somebody say, I got to choose. He doesn't make you. See, a lot of people think the fear of the Lord is this thing that comes upon you and you shake and tremble and it's God making you fear him. No, he doesn't do that.
can if he wanted to he could manifest himself in his presence in such a way that you your your bones would rattle inside of you. But he wants you to choose it. And let me sh let me tell you how you choose the fear of the Lord. You want me to tell you how how how easy it is? You just choose to believe the whole Bible is true and that God means what he says. Because if you believe the whole Bible and God means what he says and you start reading this part about how many people are going to go into eternal damnation, you start realizing I don't want that to be me. I don't want to get judgment and justice. I want mercy. But I'm not going to create doctrines that make me comfortable in a dead lukewarm church. I'm not going to create and believe doctrines. Uh-uh. I am going to choose the fear of the Lord. And for a lot of people that means for one of the first things is just read the Bible from cover to cover yourself. You better read it for yourself. You're going to stand before God one day on judgment day and give an account for this book and what you did or didn't do with it. So if you're going to be judged by the things written in here, you better know what's written in here. Most people have not read the Bible through Go back to our sheet, folks. I want this to stick in your head. Don't be these people. Choose the fear of the Lord. Now look what he says here. They hated knowledge. I want to go back to to Proverbs 1 verse 29. For they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord. They would none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof. Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But who so hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely and shall be quiet from the fear of evil. Who so hearkens unto me, the Lord said. Now, this is the verse I wanted to go to. Let's go to this. It says, "The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him." Now, look at Isaiah 66 verse two. Isaiah 66:2, he says, "For all those things hath my handmade." Right? He's we're not going to read it all. He says,
"Those things have been, sayeth the Lord, but to this man will I look, even to him that is of a poor or meek and contrite, repentant, humble spirit, and trembleth at my word?" Do you tremble at the word of God? Do you think about what the word of God says and think, do I live according to this or am I deceiving myself? There's a lot of people, Christians in churches who live in adultery, fornication, drunkenness habitually, and they tell themselves, "God loves me and I'm forgiven." But they don't know the book because the book says the drunkard, the fornicator, the adulterer, the idoltor, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burnth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Those who habitually practice these sins. Galatians 5, Ephesians 5, 1 Corinthians 5 and 6, Revelation 21 6-8. Again, at 19 years old, I read those verses and trembled at them because I knew that had been me. I realized had I died with the blindfold I had on and the sin I was living in, I would have been in hell for all eternity. I would have been in hell for the last 40 years. Think about that. Just getting warmed up. You understand? Said, "Pastor Dean, we should Oh, we shouldn't talk about hell. It shut up. Go back to our blind sheep people. This guy right here never talks about the judgment of God or eternal damnation or says eternal damnation doesn't exist. Run away. You know, we had a guy that led worship for us at I think it was the first guy fall we did 2018 Shadstone has become a total and complete heretic. Paint Tank just sent me one of his videos of how he says the lake of fire was done away with in 70 AD. Basically, nobody's going to hell. But do you know where his error started? You want to know where his error started? As being a novice in the kingdom of God, he
thought all of a sudden he was hot. You know what? And he didn't need any pastors or teachers or apostles or prophets. He didn't need any elders. And then he started down the road of the preerttrib rapture error. And his arrogance led him further and further and further into error. But I'm going to tell you right now, his arrogance, he absolutely thinks that he has got revelation and that he is a steward of the mysteries. he didn't called to preach. And I hope he hears this because I stopped him from coming to Skyfall 2019 because I found out about his teaching false doctrine about the pre-trip rapture. I said, "You're not coming to lead worship at Skyfall." And I am so glad I cut him off. because he would have just had more people following him. This particular video about the lake of fire being done away with in 70 AD, even though the book of Revelation was written in AD, 95, and this is where the Antichrist and the false prophet are going to be thrown into with everybody else that's finally judged. I mean, again, we go by the word, right? But this video that he put out the other day has 18,000 views. What the heck? It's these folks right here. You see, they don't fear the Lord enough to just go, you know what? Hell is real. The lake of fire is real. 1:00:001 hourand that most people, the majority of people are going to end up there and even a lot of Christians, 1:00:091 hour, 9 secondswe don't like to talk about those things. Oh, Pastor Dean, that just disturbs me. That upsets me. 1:00:151 hour, 15 secondsWell, maybe you need to be trembling a little bit. 1:00:201 hour, 20 secondsLast time I checked, fear that made you tremble was not comfortable, right? 1:00:301 hour, 30 secondsYeah. Let's put up the definition of fear in the Old Testament. I sent them. 1:00:361 hour, 36 secondsYeah. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day 1:00:431 hour, 43 secondsand night forever and ever. Not just until 70 AD. Okay. Um, 1:00:511 hour, 51 secondsbut see again, you listen to Shade Stone or some other blind preacher. 1:01:011 hour, 1 minute, 1 secondOh, that sounds great. That makes me feel good. I'm good. There's no lake of fire. 1:01:081 hour, 1 minute, 8 secondsBetter You better read the book. 1:01:121 hour, 1 minute, 12 secondsYou better read the book. Here's the word, the Hebrew word. This is in for for those of you who want to look at 1:01:191 hour, 1 minute, 19 secondsProverbs 1 when he says they did not choose the fear of the Lord. Here's what the word means. 1:01:261 hour, 1 minute, 26 secondsHow it's used in the Bible. Fear. Terror. Fear. Terror. Awesome or terrifying. 1:01:351 hour, 1 minute, 35 secondsCausing fear. Fear of God. Respect. Reverence. Piety. 1:01:411 hour, 1 minute, 41 secondsLet's go to We'll just look at the Strongs here. 1:01:461 hour, 1 minute, 46 secondsIs there one more? Thought I sent you both. Anyway, guess what year? I mean, fear, be 1:01:541 hour, 1 minute, 54 secondsafraid, to tremble even. Right now, 1:02:021 hour, 2 minutes, 2 secondsI know God loves me. Here's the beautiful thing. Right? I know God loves 1:02:081 hour, 2 minutes, 8 secondsme and I can know that and be at peace with that and be secure in that. at the 1:02:151 hour, 2 minutes, 15 secondssame time knowing that even though he loves me, if I choose to rebel, if I choose to live in 1:02:231 hour, 2 minutes, 23 secondssin, if I choose to go my own way, if I choose to put on the blindfold and go do whatever I want, I have enough fear of 1:02:321 hour, 2 minutes, 32 secondsthe Lord in me to know that even though he loves me, I will not be spending eternity in heaven if I choose to live habitually that way. 1:02:451 hour, 2 minutes, 45 secondsAnd that is me choosing the fear of the Lord because I tremble at his word and 1:02:521 hour, 2 minutes, 52 secondsbecause every word to me is important and I believe every word is inspired and God breathed and not written by the words of men. 1:03:061 hour, 3 minutes, 6 secondsSee, once you go down, well, they just didn't know. 1:03:141 hour, 3 minutes, 14 secondsThen what you start doing, like I've said before, you either fear and tremble and accept all of God's word as truth, or you become the editor of it. 1:03:281 hour, 3 minutes, 28 secondsAnd let me tell you this right now, editors aren't going to make it. 1:03:351 hour, 3 minutes, 35 secondsYou don't get to pick and choose what in the word you're going to believe. 1:03:461 hour, 3 minutes, 46 secondsI mean, think about this. Think about this. 1:03:501 hour, 3 minutes, 50 secondsI did a and and those some of you may have heard it, some of you may have not, but I did a two 27 minute interviews for 1:03:581 hour, 3 minutes, 58 secondsa Baptist radio station in South Carolina. It's don't ask how it all came about because that's a whole story by itself. 1:04:081 hour, 4 minutes, 8 secondsUm, but I did it on biblical cosmology, right? Flat Earth, perma dome, heaven above, hell beneath, right? 1:04:171 hour, 4 minutes, 17 secondsAnd we actually recorded it last week and it the devil just, you know, the devil gets in sound equipment 1:04:261 hour, 4 minutes, 26 secondsor maybe somebody's having it. Who knows? I don't know. But anyway, it went well. We re-recorded it Thursday. 1:04:341 hour, 4 minutes, 34 secondsUh the manager of the it's like nine stations or something and it's a podcast as well and you know Mike Zwick who 1:04:421 hour, 4 minutes, 42 secondsinterviewed me and who's on there thought man they're probably not going to play this. They're not going to air this. They actually had to sit in the studio and listen to it while we recorded it. 1:04:541 hour, 4 minutes, 54 secondsAnd but I got to thinking in that 27 minutes I presented the truth about as Christians we either 1:05:031 hour, 5 minutes, 3 secondsbelieve what the word of God teaches or we don't. But see that comes down to everything. 1:05:101 hour, 5 minutes, 10 secondsDo we believe what the word of God teaches about repentance, about salvation, about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, about the gifts of the spirit, 1:05:181 hour, 5 minutes, 18 secondsabout heaven and hell, about sin, about practicing sin, about sins under death, sins not under death. Do we believe at 1:05:261 hour, 5 minutes, 26 secondsall? Not just about creation. Creation now is becoming a test, becoming a litmus test to find out where you really are. 1:05:371 hour, 5 minutes, 37 secondsWe're finding out. Oh, but see, I believe in Jesus, but I believe Neil deGrasse Tyson, too. 1:05:461 hour, 5 minutes, 46 secondsNo, you can't. 1:05:501 hour, 5 minutes, 50 secondsAnd here's what's wild. This guy that's attacking me and calling me a liar and everything else. He's supposed to be a Christian. 1:06:001 hour, 6 minutesI mean, he's called me everything but the devil. He's probably called me that. 1:06:041 hour, 6 minutes, 4 secondsI hadn't looked back at the back and forth. 1:06:101 hour, 6 minutes, 10 secondsbecause I believe the biblical account of creation. Think about it. 1:06:161 hour, 6 minutes, 16 secondsThere's been people I I've had people over the last 11 years now since 2015. 1:06:211 hour, 6 minutes, 21 secondsI've had people send me emails, messages, phone calls of how they've been kicked out of their 1:06:291 hour, 6 minutes, 29 secondschurches because they believe the biblical counter creation. 1:06:381 hour, 6 minutes, 38 secondsAnd I'm going to tell you why they went ahead and aired that on their live radio station this Saturday. 1:06:461 hour, 6 minutes, 46 secondsIt's because it was really kind of hard not to. 1:06:491 hour, 6 minutes, 49 secondsAre you going to censor the guy who's saying you should believe the Bible? 1:06:561 hour, 6 minutes, 56 secondsThat's not going to be a good look for you. 1:07:061 hour, 7 minutes, 6 secondsBut see, when the Lord called me to preach when I was 19 years old, 1:07:141 hour, 7 minutes, 14 secondshe told me, he said, "I'm going to send you to people that you're not even going to want to go 1:07:221 hour, 7 minutes, 22 secondsto." And he said, ' And you're going to say things, and as Gene May prophesied over me, they're not going to be the things 1:07:301 hour, 7 minutes, 30 secondsthey expect, but they will be the things of God and the word of God, right? 1:07:391 hour, 7 minutes, 39 secondsAnd I remember, I mean, immediately at 19 years old, he has me confronting the whole church 1:07:471 hour, 7 minutes, 47 secondsworld about can a Christian have a demon and need deliverance. 1:07:521 hour, 7 minutes, 52 secondsThat was one of the first things. 1987, 1988 I'm doing that. You understand how few deliverance ministries were back then? 1:08:051 hour, 8 minutes, 5 secondsThen I come back here and I find out that there's this whole doctrine of once you're saved, you're always saved no matter how you live. And I've been 1:08:121 hour, 8 minutes, 12 secondsreading, guess what? I'd been reading my Bible and I knew that that was not true. 1:08:211 hour, 8 minutes, 21 secondsAnd then I was in awe when I started finding out that the biggest churches in town, First Baptist, First Methodist, all these Baptist churches. When I 1:08:291 hour, 8 minutes, 29 secondsstarted finding out that is what they believe, my mind was blown because I did not know it. I had no concept of how blind. Put my people back up here. 1:08:431 hour, 8 minutes, 43 secondsOf how blind that they were. I had no idea. 1:08:531 hour, 8 minutes, 53 secondsAnd then, don't get me started on talking about the gifts of the Holy Spirit for today. And I started finding all these churches were against that. 1:09:031 hour, 9 minutes, 3 secondsAnd I'm like, wait a minute. It's in the Bible. 1:09:081 hour, 9 minutes, 8 secondsJesus said these signs will follow them to believe. 1:09:111 hour, 9 minutes, 11 secondsThey'll speak with new tongues. I'll cast out demons. I'll lay hands on the sick. And I'm like, what is going on? It's like I woke up in a nightmare. 1:09:221 hour, 9 minutes, 22 secondsThe Lord had me hidden in in the mountains of Arkansas just reading my Bible and fasting and praying. And then I enter the church world and I find all 1:09:311 hour, 9 minutes, 31 secondsthese people and I'm like, "What the heck is going on?" And they think they see. 1:09:451 hour, 9 minutes, 45 secondsOh, they think they see. 1:09:481 hour, 9 minutes, 48 secondsBut they're oblivious to what's going on around them. Oblivious. 1:09:551 hour, 9 minutes, 55 secondsThis verse, go to 2 Corinthians 5:1. 1:10:091 hour, 10 minutes, 9 secondsYou see, they didn't choose humility and they didn't choose the fear of the Lord. 1:10:211 hour, 10 minutes, 21 secondsPaul wrote this in the New Testament by the Holy Spirit. He said, "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we 1:10:301 hour, 10 minutes, 30 secondspersuade men, but we are made manifest unto God and trust also are made manifest in your consciences." And what 1:10:381 hour, 10 minutes, 38 secondswas he talking about? Go back to verse 10. 1:10:421 hour, 10 minutes, 42 secondsI should have made you do that. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that we that everyone may receive the things done in his body 1:10:501 hour, 10 minutes, 50 secondsaccordingly that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Let's talk about habitually. How you lived in the flesh. 1:10:561 hour, 10 minutes, 56 secondsAnd then he says, "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord." Guess what the Greek word fobo there terror means. 1:11:051 hour, 11 minutes, 5 secondsGuess what it means in the Greek, original Greek? terror 1:11:121 hour, 11 minutes, 12 secondsto be terribly he said Paul saying he didn't say knowing the love of God we persuade men 1:11:201 hour, 11 minutes, 20 secondshe said knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men and he had just in the context said about we are going to stand before the judgment seat of Christ you 1:11:291 hour, 11 minutes, 29 secondsknow what the Baptists do with this they say well that's just you're going to lose some rewards but you're still going to make it into heaven 1:11:361 hour, 11 minutes, 36 secondsno why would there be any terror to that. 1:11:411 hour, 11 minutes, 41 secondsNo. The parable of the talents teaches us that there were three servants and all were servants of the Lord. And the Lord gave all three of them what they 1:11:501 hour, 11 minutes, 50 secondsneeded to make it. And one chose to not obey. One chose to live in fear and unbelief. 1:12:001 hour, 12 minutesOne chose to be lazy and lukewarm. One chose to put the blindfold on. 1:12:071 hour, 12 minutes, 7 secondsAnd when the Lord came, he said to that servant, "You wicked and slothful servant, you knew what I 1:12:161 hour, 12 minutes, 16 secondsexpected, but you didn't do it. Take ye this unprofitable servant, cast him into outer darkness, and should 1:12:241 hour, 12 minutes, 24 secondsbe weeping and nashing teeth." That's not going to heaven, folks. 1:12:321 hour, 12 minutes, 32 secondsBut see, they don't talk about that. 1:12:351 hour, 12 minutes, 35 secondsSee, that's why in 19 really the Lord started dealing with me in like 94 95 96 about writing the book Grace Abuse and I 1:12:451 hour, 12 minutes, 45 secondssat down several times I never written a book so I sat down several times and struggled and h so the Lord had me fast 10 days in 97 1:12:551 hour, 12 minutes, 55 secondsand it was on day seven of my fast that I actually sat down and wrote the first three chapters just flowed out 1:13:031 hour, 13 minutes, 3 secondsbut I look back on that and Think that was 30 years ago. 1:13:111 hour, 13 minutes, 11 seconds30 years. 1:13:151 hour, 13 minutes, 15 secondsCan I tell you right now that I've been preaching that? I found I found a CD of me preaching. I was out in my shop 1:13:231 hour, 13 minutes, 23 secondsdigging through some boxes trying to figure out what was in there, trying to organize things. I found a CD of me preaching in 1997, a message entitled The Fear of the Lord. 1:13:361 hour, 13 minutes, 36 secondsAnd I put it in and like, who is this young guy talking? And you know what I was talking about? 1:13:441 hour, 13 minutes, 44 secondsExactly what I'm talking about today. 1:13:481 hour, 13 minutes, 48 secondsWhy? Because the word of God doesn't change. The truth doesn't change. The fear of the Lord's the same thing. 1:13:571 hour, 13 minutes, 57 secondsI just think now we actually have less of it than we did back then. 1:14:121 hour, 14 minutes, 12 secondsLet me show you something. Go to Psalm 36, I believe it is. 1:14:261 hour, 14 minutes, 26 secondsNow remember, a Christian can be wicked. 1:14:291 hour, 14 minutes, 29 secondsSo when we read this, don't think about the unsaved. You hear me? 1:14:351 hour, 14 minutes, 35 secondsBecause I know a lot of wicked Christians. 1:14:391 hour, 14 minutes, 39 secondsThis is what he says here. Verse one, the transgression of the wicked saith within my heart that there is no fear of God before his eyes. 1:14:531 hour, 14 minutes, 53 secondsFor he flatterth himself in his own eyes until his iniquity be found to be hateful. 1:15:011 hour, 15 minutes, 1 secondPause right there. Go back to my my blind sheep. 1:15:151 hour, 15 minutes, 15 secondsThe transgression. What does transgression mean? 1:15:191 hour, 15 minutes, 19 secondsTransgression means you know the law and willfully break it. 1:15:291 hour, 15 minutes, 29 secondsY'all quiet as Lutheran. 1:15:341 hour, 15 minutes, 34 secondsSo he's saying when I look at people who don't live for Jesus, who don't live in holiness 1:15:441 hour, 15 minutes, 44 secondsand obedience, he says all that shows me is there is no fear of God in their heart in their life. 1:15:531 hour, 15 minutes, 53 secondsAnd if there's no fear of God, then there is no wisdom. And if there is no wisdom, then there is no understanding. 1:16:041 hour, 16 minutes, 4 secondsThey put the blindfold up. Y'all see it? 1:16:131 hour, 16 minutes, 13 secondsI'm read it again. Psalm 36:1. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart that there is no fear of God 1:16:211 hour, 16 minutes, 21 secondsbefore his eyes. For he flatterth himself in his own eyes until his iniquity be found to be hateful. And 1:16:281 hour, 16 minutes, 28 secondshere's what's so bad. There are so many people they're going to flatter themselves in their own eyes until they stand before the judgment 1:16:371 hour, 16 minutes, 37 secondsseat and God shows how hateful and wicked they were 1:16:471 hour, 16 minutes, 47 secondsand how their life of lukewarmness and compromise and habitual sin caused many 1:16:541 hour, 16 minutes, 54 secondsto stumble and how they're going to look down. 1:16:581 hour, 16 minutes, 58 secondsThey're going to stand in there at the judgment seat and they're going to look down and their hands are going to be covered with blood 1:17:071 hour, 17 minutes, 7 secondsbecause they did not choose the fear of the Lord. 1:17:111 hour, 17 minutes, 11 secondsThey did not choose to humble themselves, to take off the blindfold to find out for themselves what's in here. 1:17:271 hour, 17 minutes, 27 secondsIt's really to me, I'm telling you, it's an earthshaking trembling. I mean, it makes me tremble 1:17:361 hour, 17 minutes, 36 secondsfor them because it's going to be bad. 1:17:441 hour, 17 minutes, 44 secondsI mean, think about the people who are going to stand before the judgment seat of Christ. And get this, the ones that are going to think that 1:17:531 hour, 17 minutes, 53 secondsthey're about to enter in to heaven and the Lord goes, "Uh, wait just a second. 1:18:071 hour, 18 minutes, 7 secondsYou remember that adultery you you lived in and never repented of?" Yeah. You're not coming in here. 1:18:181 hour, 18 minutes, 18 secondsLet me tell you about how your sin destroyed all these people's lives. Look at your hands now. 1:18:261 hour, 18 minutes, 26 secondsDepart from me, you cursed in everlasting fire. 1:18:341 hour, 18 minutes, 34 secondsPastor Dean, you're just a fire and brimstone preacher. Yep. So is Jesus. 1:18:411 hour, 18 minutes, 41 secondsNobody talked about hell and eternal judgment and damnation more than Jesus himself. while he walked this earth, he talked about it more than anybody. 1:18:521 hour, 18 minutes, 52 secondsHe described it. He described it in Luke 16. What happened to the rich man when he died and went to hell? 1:19:011 hour, 19 minutes, 1 secondHe's like, "Ah, there's no passing back over. You're there. 1:19:071 hour, 19 minutes, 7 secondsOh, let Lazarus come over here and give me one drop of water for my tongue, for I am 1:19:141 hour, 19 minutes, 14 secondstormented in this flame. Sorry, those over here can't pass over there, and those over there can't pass over here. 1:19:241 hour, 19 minutes, 24 secondsOh, but go tell my family. Go warn them that no one will so they won't come to this place. 1:19:351 hour, 19 minutes, 35 secondsThey have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them. What'd he say? Let them hear the word of God. 1:19:421 hour, 19 minutes, 42 secondsBut no, if one rise from the dead, they will listen. We see how that's worked out. 1:19:551 hour, 19 minutes, 55 secondsYou see, they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord. 1:20:061 hour, 20 minutes, 6 secondsWhat have you chosen to flatter yourself? To make excuses why you live in sin? 1:20:141 hour, 20 minutes, 14 secondsGo to Proverbs 9. I referenced this a minute ago. 1:20:271 hour, 20 minutes, 27 secondsWe're going to read from verse one. Y'all okay with that? 1:20:351 hour, 20 minutes, 35 secondsWisdom hath builded her house. She hath heuned out her seven pillars. She hath killed her beast. She hath mingled her wine. She hath also furnished her table. 1:20:451 hour, 20 minutes, 45 secondsShe hath sent forth her maiden. She crith upon the high places of the city. 1:20:501 hour, 20 minutes, 50 secondsWho so is simple, let him turn in thither. And as for him that wantneth understanding, she saith him, Come, eat of my bread, and drink of my wine, which 1:20:581 hour, 20 minutes, 58 secondsI have mingled. Forsake the foolish, and live. Go in the way of understanding. 1:21:051 hour, 21 minutes, 5 secondsHe that reproveth a scorner getth himself shame. He that rebuketh a wicked man giveth himself a blot. 1:21:141 hour, 21 minutes, 14 secondsReprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee. Rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser. Teach a 1:21:231 hour, 21 minutes, 23 secondsjust man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And get this, we always quote that part. 1:21:331 hour, 21 minutes, 33 secondsWhat's the rest of it? The knowledge of the holy is understanding. 1:21:391 hour, 21 minutes, 39 secondsLet me let me give you something like, okay, it's wisdom to know that when I walk 1:21:461 hour, 21 minutes, 46 secondsoutside and use my truck key to my Toyota Tundra, 1:21:551 hour, 21 minutes, 55 secondsthat when I put it in that little slot and turn, it's going. That's how you crank it up to get going. Let's use that. That's an illustration of wisdom. 1:22:031 hour, 22 minutes, 3 secondsOkay. Understanding though is knowing every little piece that is inside that 1:22:111 hour, 22 minutes, 11 secondsstarter, how to take it apart, put it back together. 1:22:161 hour, 22 minutes, 16 secondsEverything that's going on in that engine when it fires up, the transmission when it's putting into 1:22:231 hour, 22 minutes, 23 secondsgear, how the pistons work. See understanding is knowing how it works. 1:22:321 hour, 22 minutes, 32 secondsIt's understanding the whole mechanism not just that it does work. You 1:22:391 hour, 22 minutes, 39 secondsunderstand this is the problem. Who gets wisdom first? 1:22:471 hour, 22 minutes, 47 secondsThose who fear God. Those who choose to fear the Lord. Who gets understanding? 1:22:571 hour, 22 minutes, 57 secondsThose who live holy. 1:22:591 hour, 22 minutes, 59 secondsSee, Acts 7, you know, you know what got Steven killed by the Pharisees was when 1:23:061 hour, 23 minutes, 6 secondshe said this, "You do always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you." 1:23:131 hour, 23 minutes, 13 secondsAnd what does Hebrews say? God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey him. Right? The apostle said this as well. 1:23:261 hour, 23 minutes, 26 secondsSo it's real simple. 1:23:291 hour, 23 minutes, 29 secondsDo you want the Do you want the wisdom of God? Do you want the understanding? 1:23:351 hour, 23 minutes, 35 secondsDo you want to understand the mysteries of God? 1:23:401 hour, 23 minutes, 40 secondsWell, if there's no fear of the Lord and there's no holiness, there will be no wisdom or understanding given to you. 1:23:511 hour, 23 minutes, 51 secondsYou understand? 1:23:541 hour, 23 minutes, 54 secondsThis is why there are so many go back to my sheep, my blind church folk. 1:24:011 hour, 24 minutes, 1 secondThat's why there's so many of these people. 1:24:061 hour, 24 minutes, 6 secondsThey have no wisdom. They have no understanding. 1:24:101 hour, 24 minutes, 10 secondsThey have no discernment whatsoever because they have no fear of God and no holiness. 1:24:211 hour, 24 minutes, 21 secondsAnd it's not preached. What What does Hebrews 12:14 say? 1:24:311 hour, 24 minutes, 31 secondsAnybody know it? 1:24:331 hour, 24 minutes, 33 secondsI'm going to quote it. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. 1:24:411 hour, 24 minutes, 41 secondsThat's real simple. That just means you can't live in sin and think you're going to see the Lord. There comes a point where you have to say, "I'm done with 1:24:491 hour, 24 minutes, 49 secondsit. I repent." If I'm an adulterer, that means I stop committing adultery. 1:24:571 hour, 24 minutes, 57 secondsIf I'm a drug addict, I stop doing drugs. If I'm a drunkard, I stop getting drunk. 1:25:071 hour, 25 minutes, 7 secondsIf I'm idoltor, I stop worshiping NASA 1:25:181 hour, 25 minutes, 18 secondsor Mary or other dead saints. I stop worshiping things, bowing down to things, and submitting to things. It's not Jesus. 1:25:291 hour, 25 minutes, 29 secondsRepentance turns away from it. 1:25:321 hour, 25 minutes, 32 secondsRepentance is a sign that you fear the Lord. 1:25:371 hour, 25 minutes, 37 secondsNo repentance, no fear of the Lord. No repentance, no fear of the Lord, no wisdom. 1:25:471 hour, 25 minutes, 47 secondsYou will not understand the mysteries of God. You will be those that will hear but won't hear. 1:25:541 hour, 25 minutes, 54 secondsYou will see, but you will not see. You will not understand. 1:26:021 hour, 26 minutes, 2 secondsSee, the reason Jesus could say to the apostles, "It's given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom," is because 1:26:091 hour, 26 minutes, 9 secondsthey had repented at the baptism of John. They had surrendered their lives to him. They knew he was the Messiah, and they left everything to follow him. 1:26:251 hour, 26 minutes, 25 secondsSo he said to you it's given because you guys humbled yourself, repented. 1:26:341 hour, 26 minutes, 34 secondsYou want to live holy. You've given up your way, your plans, your will. You've surrendered everything 1:26:431 hour, 26 minutes, 43 secondsso you can know the mysteries of the kingdom. 1:26:501 hour, 26 minutes, 50 secondsAnd see, let me just tell you this right now. Everything you receive from God, every bit of milk, meat, mysteries that 1:26:561 hour, 26 minutes, 56 secondsyou receive is to make you what? 1:27:031 hour, 27 minutes, 3 secondsMore holy and more what? Like Jesus. It's the whole purpose of the whole thing. 1:27:151 hour, 27 minutes, 15 secondsSee, I don't want to I don't want to blow it. 1:27:221 hour, 27 minutes, 22 secondsI see some of these preachers that, you know, just like we found out about Mike Bickl, having 1:27:291 hour, 27 minutes, 29 secondsongoing affairs for decades, decades, 1:27:371 hour, 27 minutes, 37 secondsleading a youth prayer and worship movement while you're praying on young women and having affairs and setting them up in apartments. What the heck? 1:27:501 hour, 27 minutes, 50 secondsIt shows me you had no fear of God, no respect for the word, no trembling at the word of God. 1:28:021 hour, 28 minutes, 2 secondsMike Brown, Dr. Mike Brown during the Brownsville revival fooling around with women, two different women. I'm 1:28:091 hour, 28 minutes, 9 secondslike, the fear of God was present at the Brownsville revival. 1:28:191 hour, 28 minutes, 19 secondsI'm like, Lord, I don't want that to be me. 1:28:231 hour, 28 minutes, 23 secondsBecause you know what? Anybody anybody can allow the devil to start talking to them and you start listening 1:28:341 hour, 28 minutes, 34 secondsand you slip away from the word and you're like, well, maybe it doesn't mean that and maybe it doesn't mean this and maybe I don't have to do that. Maybe I don't have to do this. And maybe maybe I 1:28:431 hour, 28 minutes, 43 secondsam eternally secure no matter how I live. Blah blah blah blah blah. And you find you a a Presbyterian church. By the way, those are dying church. Fastest dying churches in America is 1:28:511 hour, 28 minutes, 51 secondsPresbyterian. The chosen frozen are truly that like those people that didn't make it up 1:28:581 hour, 28 minutes, 58 secondsall the way to the to the top of Mount Everest. They're still there. 1:29:101 hour, 29 minutes, 10 secondsBut again, why why are they deceived? 1:29:121 hour, 29 minutes, 12 secondsWhy are they blind? Calvinism. But here, follow peace with all men. 1:29:181 hour, 29 minutes, 18 secondsAnd somebody say, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. 1:29:271 hour, 29 minutes, 27 secondsI remember reading this at 19 years old and thinking, "What is holiness?" Because it's pretty important, 1:29:351 hour, 29 minutes, 35 secondsright? What is holiness? Means being sanctified. It means being set apart. Means being different than the world. 1:29:431 hour, 29 minutes, 43 secondsAnd I realized, you know what? I got to be different. I got to live differently. 1:29:481 hour, 29 minutes, 48 secondsJesus expects me to live completely different than the way I was living. 1:29:521 hour, 29 minutes, 52 secondsThat's holiness. When I choose to live the way he wants me to live and stay in it, 1:29:591 hour, 29 minutes, 59 secondsthat's holiness. So without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. 1:30:111 hour, 30 minutes, 11 secondsYou know, I was thinking about that and I thought, I wonder if at the judgment seat you walk up and you're one of those 1:30:191 hour, 30 minutes, 19 secondsthat's not going to make it if the Lord there's a curtain pulled in front of between you and the Lord or something. 1:30:271 hour, 30 minutes, 27 secondsYou don't get to see him. 1:30:291 hour, 30 minutes, 29 secondsOh, or maybe that just means you don't get to see him in the fullness of his glory like the rest of us are going to that make it. 1:30:421 hour, 30 minutes, 42 secondsI don't know. Like my old pastor used to say, I don't know which one it is. I want either one. I want I want to make it. Right. 1:30:531 hour, 30 minutes, 53 secondsSpiritual blindness can set in at any time. 1:30:581 hour, 30 minutes, 58 secondsI've talked about this over the years, but don't let it happen to you. 1:31:061 hour, 31 minutes, 6 secondsSee, why did Samson get his eyes put out by the Philistines? 1:31:111 hour, 31 minutes, 11 secondsCuz he kept messing around with Delilah, right? Put his head in her lap one too many times. 1:31:221 hour, 31 minutes, 22 secondsOh, it's okay. got I got you know see here's what the thing about sin is you can get away with it for a little while 1:31:311 hour, 31 minutes, 31 secondsthat's the bad thing if God lets you get away with that's really bad because then you think well 1:31:381 hour, 31 minutes, 38 secondsyeah see it's not that bad the Bible say be sure 1:31:461 hour, 31 minutes, 46 secondsyour sins will find you out like David Wilkinson had a message I'll never forget it be sure your sins friends will find you out. He said, "First they're 1:31:541 hour, 31 minutes, 54 secondsgoing to find you. Then they're going to find your family. Then they're going to find your business, your job, going to find everything. 1:32:061 hour, 32 minutes, 6 secondsYep. 1:32:091 hour, 32 minutes, 9 secondsThis is a serious matter. Y'all choose the fear of the Lord. 1:32:171 hour, 32 minutes, 17 secondsWhen God sends you a minister who's telling the truth, you better receive them." What did what did Jesus tell them? He said, "He that receives you 1:32:251 hour, 32 minutes, 25 secondsreceives me." Right? Say, "Well, Pastor Dean, there's so many false ones. How do I discern which it's easy 1:32:361 hour, 32 minutes, 36 secondsif they stick to this book? And I'm not talking about part of it. 1:32:411 hour, 32 minutes, 41 secondsI'm talking about the whole thing." And let me just go and tell you right now, too. I'm gonna get in trouble for saying this. Oh, I'm gonna get in trouble, but I'm gonna say it. 1:32:531 hour, 32 minutes, 53 secondsWhich Bible a pastor uses will tell you a lot about him, too. 1:32:591 hour, 32 minutes, 59 secondsCuz if you really care about God's word, you'll know where the real one is. 1:33:091 hour, 33 minutes, 9 secondsAll I'm gonna say about that. 1:33:201 hour, 33 minutes, 20 secondsThere's a lot of There's a lot of, you know, in in in poker they call it when your opponent has a 1:33:281 hour, 33 minutes, 28 secondsmannerism or a thing that they give away information. It's called a tell. A lot of people have those. 1:33:361 hour, 33 minutes, 36 secondsThey give away a lot of information by little things that they do. 1:33:411 hour, 33 minutes, 41 secondsSee, and that's why, you know, a lot of pastors are furious because a lot of Christians when a lot of people woke up and a lot of atheists and agnostics and 1:33:481 hour, 33 minutes, 48 secondsnew believers came in, you know, the the biblical cosmology revival that started with 2014 and it's still going. 1:33:571 hour, 33 minutes, 57 secondsBrought more atheists and agnostics and new age and ancient alien believers. 1:34:021 hour, 34 minutes, 2 secondsmore people came into the kingdom of God because they saw the evidence that the Bible account of creation is true, 1:34:081 hour, 34 minutes, 8 secondsright? And and people came in and just flooded in and then started going back to church and found out the church 1:34:161 hour, 34 minutes, 16 secondspeople put my people back up here don't believe this book. 1:34:251 hour, 34 minutes, 25 secondsAnd so these Christians started going to these pastors, hey, wait a minute. 1:34:291 hour, 34 minutes, 29 secondsDoesn't the Bible say there's a firmament over the earth, a solid structure that's crystalline? Ain't that what it it's saying? 1:34:391 hour, 34 minutes, 39 secondsOh, no. There's five firmaments and it's an expanse and we don't know what it is. 1:34:431 hour, 34 minutes, 43 secondsAnd God God spent all the day too making making nothing. Uh just an emptiness. 1:34:511 hour, 34 minutes, 51 secondsand and and some of these pastors got highly offended because these people were upset with them about this. 1:35:011 hour, 35 minutes, 1 secondWell, it's not a salvation issue or it's not this or not. No, but it does reveal where your heart is. 1:35:111 hour, 35 minutes, 11 secondsAnd see, here's the thing about the the creation issue right now. 1:35:171 hour, 35 minutes, 17 secondsReally, for a lot of Christians, it is nothing more than pride 1:35:241 hour, 35 minutes, 24 secondsbecause they can't accept the fact that maybe I have been deceived. I've been tricked. 1:35:301 hour, 35 minutes, 30 secondsI've been lied to. I believe something wholeheartedly my whole life. And to admit I was wrong, 1:35:401 hour, 35 minutes, 40 secondsit takes humility, right? I had to admit it. Once God opened my eyes to the truth about 1:35:491 hour, 35 minutes, 49 secondscreation and I broke free from the years of programming 1:35:571 hour, 35 minutes, 57 secondsand I just accepted what the Bible said is to be true and then God showed me things that proved it to be true. Right? 1:36:081 hour, 36 minutes, 8 secondsThat's it. 1:36:101 hour, 36 minutes, 10 secondsBut see, folks are getting exposed. I I used to walk into churches. I used I know when I was younger I used to walk in I just go find the pastor and say okay do you believe you're once saved 1:36:181 hour, 36 minutes, 18 secondsalways saved no matter how you live if he told me yeah I turn around and walk out the door let me do you believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still for today if they 1:36:261 hour, 36 minutes, 26 secondssaid no I'm out the door I'm gone because it's not just that issue it just shows me you don't know the Bible you 1:36:341 hour, 36 minutes, 34 secondsdon't understand anything you do not have wisdom you do not have understanding I'm not sitting in I'm not sitting in this place. 1:36:451 hour, 36 minutes, 45 secondsOh, find the proverb says, "He that lacks understanding remains in the congregation of the dead." 1:36:521 hour, 36 minutes, 52 secondsI will not remain in the congregation of the dead. 1:36:551 hour, 36 minutes, 55 secondsAnd I remember back in the day, I mean, you know, people thought a church that was alive is a church that's hopping around and rolling on the floor. No. Ah, I've been in some dead churches that 1:37:041 hour, 37 minutes, 4 secondsthey hop around, yell, and roll in the floor. dead. 1:37:121 hour, 37 minutes, 12 secondsI mean, this those churches that that handle the rattlesnakes can get pretty lively, but they dead is the door now. 1:37:181 hour, 37 minutes, 18 secondsAnd if they keep handling the rattlesnakes, they're going to be really be dead, right? 21:16. 1:37:311 hour, 37 minutes, 31 secondsThe man that wanderth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. 1:37:391 hour, 37 minutes, 39 secondsThey did Spiritually dead people don't see. 1:37:441 hour, 37 minutes, 44 secondsBut if you leave the way of understanding, what is the way of understanding? Holiness. 1:37:511 hour, 37 minutes, 51 secondsYou see, that's why it says the man that commits adultery, lives in adultery, lacks understanding. 1:38:021 hour, 38 minutes, 2 secondsThat's basically another way of saying he is an absolute stupid idiot fool that will soon have his liver struck through. 1:38:151 hour, 38 minutes, 15 secondsDon't get me started on that one. 1:38:181 hour, 38 minutes, 18 secondsThe man that wonders out of way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. So take the blindfolds off, 1:38:281 hour, 38 minutes, 28 secondsright? Choose the fear of the Lord and make sure just like we go back to Isaiah 66:2. 1:38:391 hour, 38 minutes, 39 secondsWho does the Lord look at? 1:38:421 hour, 38 minutes, 42 secondsBut to this man will I look, even to him that is of a poor and contrite spirit, humble and repentant, 1:38:491 hour, 38 minutes, 49 secondsand trembleth at my word. You don't tremble at something you don't believe with all your heart. 1:39:001 hour, 39 minutesAmen. Let's stand. 1:39:131 hour, 39 minutes, 13 secondsDon't be blind. 1:39:161 hour, 39 minutes, 16 secondsJohn, you got to write me a song. Don't be blind and oblivious. Can oblivious be even put into a song? 1:39:261 hour, 39 minutes, 26 secondsHe's working on one called the fear of the Lord. Amen to that. 1:39:351 hour, 39 minutes, 35 secondsAmen. Amen. Are y'all burning up or is it just me? 1:39:421 hour, 39 minutes, 42 secondsIt's getting hot in Alabama. 1:39:451 hour, 39 minutes, 45 secondsLet's pray. Father in heaven, I come to you in Jesus name. And I pray for everyone today that's hearing 1:39:531 hour, 39 minutes, 53 secondsthis message, those who will hear it that they will choose to believe that your word is true from Genesis to Revelation. 1:40:041 hour, 40 minutes, 4 secondsAnd that means everything. the milk, the meat, about heaven and hell, about salvation, about repentance, about holiness, 1:40:121 hour, 40 minutes, 12 secondsabout creation, or about everything that they will fear and tremble at your word. They will give reverence to you 1:40:191 hour, 40 minutes, 19 secondsand to your holy word that you have preserved for us in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. 1:40:281 hour, 40 minutes, 28 secondsthat they'll read this book and they'll remove the blindfolds and they'll get out of all these deceptions that are on YouTube and Tik Tok and everywhere else. 1:40:421 hour, 40 minutes, 42 secondsLord, you said through Paul, he said, you know, he told the Corinthians, though you have 10,000 teachers, yet you have not many fathers. 1:40:531 hour, 40 minutes, 53 secondsAnd you got ten thousands of teachers but few true elders. See, they wanted a bunch of teachers. 1:41:011 hour, 41 minutes, 1 secondAnd there's a lot of people heaping to themselves teachers having itching ears and turning away from the truth and turning to fables like moon missions. 1:41:131 hour, 41 minutes, 13 secondsLord, it's time. Lord, wake up the church. Let there be revival. 1:41:211 hour, 41 minutes, 21 secondsmany take off the blindfolds and accept your word and repent. 1:41:291 hour, 41 minutes, 29 secondsLord, I pray this today in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Alrighty. 1:41:361 hour, 41 minutes, 36 secondsWell, y'all know the drill in here. Hug him next before you leave. 1:41:441 hour, 41 minutes, 44 secondsAmen. Give the Lord praise. Go ahead. 1:41:531 hour, 41 minutes, 53 secondsAnd I'll tell you, if this was the last message I ever gave, I'm good with it. Amen. 1:42:021 hour, 42 minutes, 2 secondsThere you go. See, now that man just stepped out of the Lutheran church. All right. Well, y'all hug some necks. 1:42:111 hour, 42 minutes, 11 secondsWe love y'all. Uh pray for us. 1:42:141 hour, 42 minutes, 14 secondsUm, we're we're I keep saying this, but we are making progress through with the 1:42:211 hour, 42 minutes, 21 secondsarchitect now and the last of the last little permits we got to get and all that stuff. So, we're almost there. So, pray it on through. 1:42:321 hour, 42 minutes, 32 secondsAll right. God bless y'all. See you next time. Sync to video time
