My wife actually, she I never gave her a title. So, she put this title, getting the demons out. And I said, you know, I kind of like that. So, I started making the little demons. Get the demons out of your marriage. you. And so as I got in praying about this and preparing for it, I just felt like, you know what, that is the dial because um we don't realize, you know, there's a there's a saying that goes around when you start talking about demons. Anybody talks about spiritual warfare, deliverance, those kind of things. Uh oh, you're looking for a demon behind every bush. And those of you who listen to my deliverance teachings, I tell everybody, they're they're not behind bushes. They're your house. in your bedroom. Uh they're in you. Um unless you've been through deliverance thoroughly and they're always trying to put thoughts, images, imaginations, ideas into our minds that are not true or that are exaggerated or maybe they're even true, but God wants us to let go of something that we're holding on to. Um, so you know what? I got to do something before we go further than this. Um, sometimes this happens. I have no control over it. Um, but uh the Lord just gives me words from people sometimes. So, I'm going to give him to But Julie, when you guys were singing, man, the anointing was all on you and the Holy Spirit came on me and the Lord just want me to tell you that you will sing before governors and presidents and kings and you're going to see amazing things. your day and phone and you'll remember this when you're singing before leaders of other nations and uh our leaders. It's going to happen. What's that? [Laughter] [Applause] Uh but I just felt that very strong for you guys. And um Becky, the Lord told me sometimes she that he's going to heal that broken heart of church about your mom. And I know it doesn't feel like it's going to heal anytime soon, but it will. Dad can and only he can heal it. Your husband can't fix it. I can't fix it. Nobody can fix it for Jesus. But you just stay with him and he'll heal that all been there. Okay. And those you
don't know, she lost her mom. There was some weird circumstances and uh it's been a very painful thing for her. So y'all got to pray for that. Okay. And that'll put stress when when one person's heart is broken. And that'll put a lot of stress on the marriage as well. Um but uh he's going to heal your heart. Cuz see, you know, I went through that. I had a broken heart for about 7 years. I mean, it was completely shattered, broken, and I could not do what God wanted me to do. I wanted to do the right thing, but it literally crippled me from doing it. And uh that's where you just have to have a tenacity in you that I'm not letting go of Jesus. I'm not letting this take me from Jesus. And I'm not letting this cause my marriage to go bad even because what happens when you're hurting it like that is all the little issues get magnified 100 million times. And I know because I've been through it. [Music] Um anyway, oh yes, and you two, Caleb and Sicilian, you're going to come out for a minute, but the word, every time I look at you, and I may have told you this before and I don't remember, but every time I look at you two, I see this big word evangelism written across the team and that God's going to use you mighty as as evangelists that you follow him. And I don't know when that door or day of release is fully going to come for you. You're maybe doing some on the job training now and learning how to do it. But I see it in a big way in your life in the future. All right. So, so let's get back to it. Now, pastor, I think it was Pastor Troy stole my verse from me. That's what happens when you get to go first. Somebody gets to go last. But I am going to focus on another part of this. And it says here, of course, two are better than one because they have good reward for their labor. And then it says, for if they fall, one will lift up his fellow, but woe to him that does a lone health. And I want to say I truly did experience that when I had co my my wife would come in there and yell at me at 3:00 in the morning to get up and walk around the house so my lungs would not fill up with fluid and close up and uh and I would fuss at her and say I don't want to get up and uh but she did lift me up and uh I thank God for a godly wife that has helped me so much that I can't even get into words. Um, and then he says, "If two lie together, then they have heat." And I think about that, you know, we forget about that. Uh, what's winter mean? It
means the time that there's no fruit, there's no crops. Um, you know, you're going through the time where there's maybe the valley of the shadow of death. Uh winter uh can be cruel, but together we can make it together better than by yourself. And this is why God wants us to have a good spouse in our lives. Uh that's loyalty was no matter what happens. Uh loyalty is a thing that's just not talked about very much. But the one reason I can trust my wife in anything, absolutely anything is that I know she is truly loyal to me and to and to to Jesus first and to me 100%. I can trust her with anything. Now we of know I was married before. That was not the case last time. Okay? And it's tough when you're in a marriage and you can't trust the other person. This is why we all need to become trustworthy. Right? But this is the part right here. It says, "If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him and a three-fold Lord is not quickly broken." So y'all come up for a second. But the reason I'm going back to this verse, even though Pastor Troy covered it, is because y'all turn and face the camera there and hold hands like I told you. All right. Uh, I thought I'd get the youngest couple here and the most newly married couple. And um, you know that word right there says if one prevail against him, what that word prevail means is to be absolutely in assaulted with the intent of pulling me apart. That's like me if I was still playing football and middle linebacker coming in here and trying to push them apart. See, I just mean you're getting attacked. Told you I didn't want to. That's why I didn't want any old people up here. But see, the three-fold cord, as Pastor Troy said earlier, husband and wife and the Lord's strength. Yes. To stay together no matter how much the devil assails you. You hear me? because he is going to fight. Okay, he is going [Applause] to and he's going to assail you individually. He's going to assail you as a couple. And it will take you, your spouse, and both of you loving Jesus and going in the same direction. Yeah. Come on. Amen. if you're going to be able to say it again.
Um, I can't express to you and especially as Christians, if we're Christians, we are supposed to be a people who understand that unity is where the power is. Amen. The reason that Nancy and I can walk in such unity is because we both have said to the Lord and committed our lives to the Lord before we were married, God, your will be done, not mine. Whatever your will is, I will do it. And that's why I don't ever have to worry. I don't worry about telling my wife, "Yeah, I'm going to run for government, baby. or the Lord taught me to run for lieutenant governor or the Lord said start a school of ministry or the Lord said for me to uh have a conference called Skyfall and where she has to do most of everything she'll go what is this we stuff hey I'm arranging speakers do something. Um, but the I guess what I'm getting at is that we both are willing to go in the same direction. Just like the first time I I thought I had no worries about telling my wife when I had figured out that the earth is flat and we have a firmament dome. Okay. Now, that may blow some of your mind. I don't know where all of you are on that. But when I saw it, when I studied it out of scripture for 3 days, I kind of disappeared. She, you know, she knew I was still alive, but I and she finally walked in, I think on the third day, and I was just going through. I had Lexatrons everywhere and videos playing on phones and computers and she walked in. I was like, "What are you doing?" I said, "Babe, I think the Earth is fall. And I said, "And the Bible says it." This was her response. Well, if it's in the Bible, then that's the way it is. Amen. Amen. [Applause] I didn't ask you showing her anything because she fully trusted me and she trusts God's word. Yes. And see, we're like because we are in unity that God's word is supreme. Amen. See, we don't have to if there's a difference between us and God's word says, "No, this is the way it is." Then we both go, "Okay, I'm wrong. You're wrong. This is the way it is." You understand? And when you can be in that kind of unity, then you're going to be able to defeat the demons. Mhm. Problem is a lot of you
are not in that kind of community. Why are you not in that kind of community? Because you got hurts. We've we hurt each other. She's hurt me. She's hurt my feelings so bad. She got a mouth filled with South. But I do too. And I've hurt her feelings so bad. And I've shared this many times that the only reason again we're still in unity after 16 years I mean spiritually doctrinally the same focus is because we forgive each other and we say I'm sorry I hurt you. Please forgive me. I admit it when I hurt her. She admits it when she hurts me. She hurt my feelings last night. ever to the point I slam the door. Marriage conference. I don't slam doors often. And then we both had to repent, but that's not, you know, we're a bit tired. But that's but that's why again we're in unity. And when we are in unity, we can bind the demons attacking us and resist them and they will flee. I cannot stress this enough. There's another thing. Some of you married couples in here, doctrinally, you're not even in agreement. Some of you, it could be the man, it could be the woman, still hanging on to traditions and doctrines of men from your past or what you grew up with, whatever. What the two of you need to do is get the Bible out, put all that stuff behind you, the doctrines and traditions of men. Put every bit of it behind you. And as a husband and wife, study the Bible together until you are walking in one mind, in one accord, and in one belief system and work it out yourselves. Because once you do that, nobody can move you from that. Nobody's moving us right from what we know together that we've studied and talked about and looked at over and over and over again where we stand on on biblical issues or moral issues or whatever it may be. Nobody is going to like talk her out of believing what I believe and nobody's going to talk me out of believing what we believe together because we've looked at the scriptures and we are in one mind and one accord and so because we are we are twofold together then God can come in in three-fold us and the devil has a hard time breaking that all he's Right. I mean, we've had some dooies. I've told her to go back home to mom and daddy a couple times. I mean, we've had some doozies, y'all. And we're pastors. The
demons fight us just like everybody else. All right? And they're not going to give up on you. They're going to keep coming. But this right here, you're going to have to figure, are we truly unified? Have I truly forgiven him or her for all the things done wrong? Have I truly put it in the past? Because if you're still thinking about it and getting angry over it and your emotions are coming up every time you think about something they did or said, then you haven't forgiven. You haven't let go and started over. Let me tell you, we let go of the things when we've said things that hurt each other or done things that hurt each other. The reason again we're still here and in unity is because we truly forgive from the heart and let go of it. I don't bring up tell you the truth when you do that you don't even really remember a lot of times and I remember that fight but I don't remember was about because that's not the important thing important thing is that I let it go. Okay. And most of the divorces happen now, yes, I'm gonna say the dword are simply as as Jesus said about Moses allowing them to divorce. It said it comes down to the hardness of heart. One person or both. But all it takes is one is to get hardhearted toward the Lord about something. A lot of times people underneath are angry at the Lord about something. something didn't work out the way they wanted it to or they lost a child maybe what they hurt and they let their heart harden toward the Lord let it hardens toward their spouse and when you let your heart harden and you don't truly deal with the forgiveness issue and truly let it go and ask God's forgiveness for holding unforgiveness you're never going to be able to be in unity you have to be able to forgive quickly from the heart to the point that you let it go. You understand? I can't stress this enough. I might stay on this passage for the next hour. I could do it because you and your spouse have to make up your mind. Nobody's getting between us. No lies getting between us. No false doctrines getting between us. No tradition of men's getting between us because the word of God is the final say so and that's what we're going to follow. And if I mess up following it or she messes up following it, we can say, you know what, we messed up. Forgive me. Let's go back to the word of God and see what we need to do to get back on the course. Because if we're both going after Jesus by following the scriptures, then we're going to be getting closer
and closer. We're going to be together doing this thing. And really, that's what you want. I was in the fight of my life because the CO thing was was not it wasn't just CO. It was spiritual. It was a demonic death. The spirit of death that was there. And and I know I saw Troy nearly died and I know our wives praying for us, the people they got to help us being there. I mean, I'm telling you right now, if I had been by myself and there was no one, I would have died in that bed. Another statistic of the Wuhan China virus. This right here is so important. If anything you get from me today, you get me and my wife need to get on our knees and get the Bible out. Confess what we've done along to each other. Ask for forgiveness and get in unity. Forgive me for holding on to my Baptist doctrine. Forgive me for holding on to Roman Catholic doctrine. Forgive me for not finding out what do we as a couple believe? What are we going to stand for, live for, die for together? Are we going in the same place? My mom and dad divorced in 1980 because of course they were unsaved. They were drinking and partying, living like Helens. I mean, they but they didn't divorce until my dad said he wanted to start going to church. And they started going to this little First Baptist uh what is it? Do Northside Baptist Church here in Oakland. And I remember the Sunday cuz I sat in the back and my parents sat up in about the fourth or fifth row. And I remember the day my dad got up to go down to give his life to Jesus. And on his way, he grabbed my mom's hand to go with him and she pulled it out. He went in and see a decision was made there. My dad was going to try to follow after Jesus and my mom did not want to. What do you think's going to happen? But see, in Christian marriages, it's even a little more subtle because you got one that's a Pentecostal charismatic. You got one that's got a Baptist tradition and really you're doing the same thing. You're going in different directions. And some of you charismatic Pentecostals need to chill out on the signs and wonders and tongues chasing and get back in the word. And some of you that are against these things need to understand that this they're still for today. Maybe you ought to get filled with the Holy Spirit and seek after y'all need to come together and figure this out.
See, that's why I wouldn't get even though I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, I wouldn't call us a Pentecostal charismatic church in the sense that we're not connected to those denominations because they're way off base in some places. But I'm not chasing after the Baptist tradition I came from either. And listen, what did Jesus say? He said this, and this is not in my PowerPoint, but he said that we make the word of God none effect in our lives if we hold to the doctrines and traditions of men. You have to be willing to change and grow and learn the word and let go of what you grew up with to walk with Jesus now. And just make sure that it is scripture. If it's scripture, you go with. And if both of you do that together, you will be unified. But if one says, "I'm going to go home with Jesus." Another one pulls their hand out, says, "I'm not going that far." Well, you got division. Then you don't even have a two-fold cord. You got the Lord standing back going, "What are they going to do? He even says if husbands and wives are not in unity on even the having sex issue, he says your prayers to be hindered. You're supposed to walk in unity. Well, guess what you have to do? Do that. You got to talk some things out. And the referee, you have to There has to be a referee. I wish I had a yellow flag. Remember, there was a cute TV commercial back. husbands and wives argue. But you know what the referee is? You know, you don't need a yellow flag or a red flag for instant replay or anything like that. What you just need to go, you know what? Let's look. Let's go look what the Bible says about this. We're arguing about should we even be arguing about. See, that's why it's so easy about how biblical cosmology creation for us because it's just it's all over the Bible. And once you look at it all over the Bible as a couple, you go, "Bible says it. Bible teaches it." We break it down in Hebrew and Greek. It's clear. Bible says it. Bible teaches it. Therefore, that's what I'm going to go with. And I like what Gary did a minute ago about just pointing out some of the things, wisdom of men that we listen to. Listen, I don't care. Let's see. I did I could talk kind of hell recent even recently when I announced running for lieutenant governor of Alabama about he's a flatearther. Yeah. Well, I don't even like that term. I'm a biblical earther and the biblical model happens to be flat, you know. Um but I'm like I believe the Bible. I don't care if I'm mocked, ridiculed, hated by the world system, hated by other lukewarm Christians. I don't care because the
Bible teaches it from Genesis to Revelation. So therefore, she believes the same thing I do because it's she believes this book. See, I thank God she was raised in in a charismatic church when she was young that taught the Bible. Because she had a builtin knowing from a little child, got healed, powerfully healed when she was 6 years old. And so in her, she goes, "Bible is true. People are liars, right? Bible's true. People are liars. If both of you have that in you, you can stay unified. Amen. You understand? That's absolutely key. Now, man, you'll have to tell me when cuz I'll go for three hours. That's why I put this verse. Be not unequally yolked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness with unrighteousness, and what communion have light with darkness? See, let let me just go ahead for you single people in here, and we have a few, but there'll be more. Watch. No, no, no. go. No. Never, never, never, never, never, never, ever is there excuse to marry somebody who's not willing to be able. I don't want to hear it. Oh, I'm in love. I don't care. I got all the tinglies and the butterflies and the goosebumps and we kissed and I felt the magic the magical kingdom. The Bible says don't do it. So therefore, you don't do it, right? And when people come to my office and one I know is a true born again Christian and the other one's a pretender or they don't agree and they're not going in the same direction spiritually. They're not going in the same direction doctrally. They're not going in the same direction on how to raise their children. They're not going in the same direction about uh the spiritual authority and order in the home. When they come in talking like that, guess what? Do you think I'm going to advise them to get married? Do you think I'm going to marry them? No. Recently, well, not too long ago, couple came in my office. I knew the woman was a pretender and I knew the guy was compromised and he was letting something down south on the on his body the uh the thing instead of following God's word. And they sat in my office and I told them if you get married and I told him because I knew the man longer. I knew him. I've known him for a long time. I've been his pastor. I said, "If you do this, you're making one of the biggest mistakes of your
life." Got mad at me walking. It was a It was a white guy and and a black girl. And what she said, she's going out the door, "You're a racist." I'm like, "Lord have mercy." Really? I've married many interracial couples. I have no problem with that. They had nothing to do with race. I knew they were going in two different directions. They had two different goals in life. And this when when you are not unified, it's not going to end well. D the two Ds. Remember the two D's, divorce and demons or demons and divorce. Three D's now. Die vision. wearing two to what's that two visions I've looked at people I remember when I went through my divorce in 2000 late 2001 early 2002 and the only other female that came into my life um before Nancy was few months after and that's when you know guys let me tell you something one of the things I learned Don't get involved with anybody quickly after divorce. You are not ready for that. Oh, but you know, one of my elders and right. But let me tell you, I realized quickly, it took me about a month to figure out that this woman that was trying to come into my life had a different direction that she wanted to go. And I'm like, I can't go there. My ex-wife now, the the the the one before, when she tells me in January of 2002, after handing me divorce papers right after Thanksgiving, when she tells me, "I don't want to be married to a pastor anymore." Where do you go from there? I said, we're sitting on the beach in Gulf Shores. And I said, well, that's a problem. Because I said, I'm called to be a pastor and that's what I'm going to do. What can you do with that? So, we weren't in unity. We weren't that free-fold forward. Sometimes divorces happen from those simplest of decisions to just not be unified anymore. And this is why don't start out in being unequally goats. I like how they got the ox and the donkey. One's supposed to be there and one's an ass, right?
That's usually how it works. And he said this, "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." Do you see that? Now, this is him talking about unity in a church. How much more in a married couple? But what does he say is true unity? Is it compromising saying, "I'm fine with your sin or your error or whatever you're going, whatever you choosing to do." No. That's that's false unity. True unity says we're going to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We're going to speak the same thing. We're going to have the same mind and we're going to be joined together with the same discernment and judgment on these things. That's unity right there. Say, "Pastor Dan, that's impossible." No. With God, all things are possible. They're doctrally speaking, biblically speaking, Nancy and I have zero disagreements when it comes to the scripture. If the scripture teaches it, that settles it. So, this right here, there are no divisions between us. Now, here's another thing. You don't let mama, daddy, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, third cousins, I don't care. Nobody gets to come between you and your spouse to cause a division. If they are, they need to be removed from me. I've seen corrupt pastors start getting in between happily married couples and start some of division and divide. There's going to be a special place in health. But this right here, don't tell me it can't happen cuz I am I am living proof that it can. But you have to sit and say, "Well, my my husband and I, we just don't agree." and she goes to this church and I go to that church or whatever it you know what it's time for you is let me just say husbands put your foot down and say honey let's me and you study the Bible for a year and figure out what it says and then let's pray and fast and hear from the Holy Spirit together what we are supposed to be where we're supposed to go to church where we're supposed to live all that stuff. I mean, I had a guy that came the first year of Fire Race School of Ministry and I told him not to come
here. There's no need for him to come here from Texas and left his wife there and came and moved here. And I'm like, dude, what were you doing? And he didn't cause nothing but problems here. That right, Jordan. Not me. And you got back. It wasn't Jordan's fault. Just to make sure everybody understand Jordan, as you see, Jordan's still here. But he quickly got removed from the school, sent back to Texas for rebounded and causing division. And because too people his marriage was obviously not in first thing in his life. See and there are people like that that want to chase after some ministry dream they have and they're not in unity with their spouse. How do you think again that's going to end? The first ministry has to be the two of you. Then you got to get your kids straight. And then you might think about ministry when the Lord's ready for it. When he tells you, not when you want to jump into it. Right. All right. I'm just going with the flow here. Now, resisting the demons. I know I've preached on this verse so many times, I don't even have to look it up. I don't need to beat the slide. But let's read it again together. Everybody look at James 4:7 and 8. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you doubleminded. If you want to know how to resist the devil, I mean, I can tell you how to bind demons, cast demons out of folks. I tell every kind of scary story. I've seen people levitating off the ground and convulsing and throwing up and I've every everything about deliverance I've seen done doesn't impress me because if I can get people to do this there wouldn't be any of that right because the people who truly submit to God repent of their sins and get serious about following Jesus their deliverance is real quiet and soft and quiet Amen. Yeah. Yes. See, the demons get to struggle and act a fool when they know they can still hang on in there. They They're hanging on to to to roots and leons and weeds that shouldn't be there. That's why they're hard to get out. Well, we can get them out. But guess what? The roots and weeds and stuff still there. And sometimes they come back and
your house is worse, right? But husbands and wives, submit yourselves to God. See, again, the biggest problem, I know I'm driving a little crazy. I can't help it. I'm not a Baptist preacher. I um but this right here, if I could get everybody, see, at 19 years old, you know what changed in my life at 19 years old? I did this. I said, "Lord, my life's over. It's yours now. I don't get to choose what I do, where I live, who I marry, where I work. I am yours. I surrender to your will. I will not move unless you tell me to move. I will do what I know to do. I will work. I will eat, sleep, I will pay my bills." Well, you get what I'm saying? I will not do anything unless you are leading me to do it. I want your will, not mine. That's the need to God. And you know what that begins to do? It begins to kill all of that self that's in them. And the more of self that you get on the cross, the better a husband or wife you're going to be. Is that simple? Because really, all of our fights are about selfishness. And men, we're the worst at it. Men are the most selfish. We're the most lazy. I said, "Wait a minute, pastor. I work all the time." Yeah. Well, what about when she wants you to help mop after you dug ditches and blade post holes and everything up there? And yes, I mopped. I vacuumed. That's right. I do. I change I change diapers. I always change diapers when we had little ones. I would get up early so mama didn't have to. But still, I'll be honest with you. Do I still fight being lazy? Is there any lazy bone in her body? and and she'd have us working every night till 1:00 a.m. playing just come in the house and they come in again and she can feed him when he's getting married. She ain't got but I'm glad she cares. Granted, I'm glad she cares, but and you know, her love language is acts of service. I work all the time. I'm like, I don't want to go home and work, but you're going to love your wife, right? According to knowledge,
I said, babe, make a list. Don't just tell me to help. I don't know what that means. Make Make the list of things that need to get done and let me look at it and then I'll go do that. So we you know I want to know we're getting done what you want getting done. I don't want to spin my wheels. Um but this is so important. If I could get everybody that everybody that listened to me preach would just submit to God fully. That's right. The rest will be easy. And this is why you know our counseling method 99% of the time is what is it? Fire and grace function. What? What? Right. What what should I do? Pastor D. Better go fast. You better hear from God. You better know it's God's will. And I don't try to get involved unless God absolutely tells me something or shows me something. And even then, I hold it back because I'm waiting for them to hear it. I'm not trying to guide people's lives. But you got to know the will of God for you, your marriage, your family. You got to know because guys, let me tell you, you got to lead your family there because it's the under that. I don't even want to call it umbrella. I'm going to call it a uh family firmament. That is and this one's a nice one. Family firm cuz think about it. What is that firm the therefore death the atmosphere that makes it this place livable right and we're not get flooded like Noah's did and yet it's up to us men to make sure our family is going in that direction by the people of God at all cost and if we'll do that then that is the safest place to be now that doesn't mean nothing bad's going to happen, but there will be things that are things that would have happened otherwise, like unnecessary things. You just get to avoid a lot of bad stuff if you're in the will of God. It's the safest place to be, and it's the most dangerous place to be at the same time. See, I know when I'm getting death threats and death attempts on me, I'm doing something right. Right. But there's the I got the protection of God. Amen. Because of what I only am doing what he tells me to do. And tell you the truth, by the time you're 57, you don't want to
do anything extra. Just what he's supposed to do and not add anything to it. I promise. I'll just skip this. This is one thing I want to show y'all right here. When it says there submit, it talks about subjection. It talks about obedience. It talks about yielding to admonition, advice, correction, so on and so forth. But the word was a Greek military term meaning to arrange a troop divisions in a military fashion under the command of a leader. Let me tell you about military command. They are unified when it when it's when it's done right. There is union. I remember and I didn't like the Bush administration. They're evil. The only thing I liked when we, you know, I like military people and General Coen Pow when he was asked, "What are you going to do to the Iraqi military? What's your strategy?" They got the fourth largest military in the world, legging and unlike Vietnam, he said, "We're first going to surround it and then we're going to kill it." I said, "Now there's a military It's an objective, right? If you're going to go to war, you go. And the objective is to be unified. One objective. So if you're unified, you're unified as a couple. You're unified with your church family. You're unified with Jesus and his word. We're in a military and we can't withstand the assaults of Satan and his deeds. If we're not submitted and in the will of God and in unity with the same objectives and the reason we should have the same objectives is because we all have the same book. Amen. So, well that's your interpretation, Pastor Dean. It's not my interpret. It's not of any private interpretation. If it says it, we do it. If it says it, we believe it. Right? But I thought this awesome military operation. He says, "Wherefore, here James 121:22, wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness or humility the engrafted word which is able to save your souls. engrafted. What do you think that means? Not just word you read and can't remember, but the word that you're putting in you with the purpose of doing it, practicing it, obeying it,
respecting it, trembling at it. And this is why he goes on to say, "But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own self." Now, I talked about this all the time. Be a doer of the word. Now, if we go back, and this course of James, if we go to James 4:7 again, and I'm not going to roll back, but if we go back, it says, "Submit to God, resist the devil." Well, guess what? Those are commands in the word of God, right? If you don't do them, then you are being rebellious. I don't care how old you are. So, if you're not submitting to God fully and you're not doing and obeying the scriptures, if you're not submitting to him and resisting the devil, and I'm about to tell you, I do that, then you're a disobedience. Sure. And I'm going to tell you right now in your marriage, the devil's going to attack you so hard mentally, spiritually, physically, financially, you going to get a hit. Always going to get hit. You better know how to resist and you better do it and not just go, "Oh, I know about spiritual warfare." And then you sit there like the devil beat your head in and let it cause you and your husband to be on with you and your husband or wife being the you know this close to divorce. So divorce isn't far away if you're not doing the word. Be angry and sin not. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. What do you think that means? be quick to what? Forgive. Forgive when they make you angry. And in the same, see that's a little cold in there. It means that that sentence continues. Neither give place to the devil. You give no place to the devil. Well, how could you give place to the devil? How could you? Well, the devil put into the heart of Jesus to betray Jesus. Devil did it. How do you do it like that? passivity with evil demonic thoughts is what gets us in trouble. As a husband and wife, you cannot be passive at any moment. Y'all,
y'all, when I was running for governor last time, I've shared this story, but it makes me shiver sometimes. that my daughter in Montgomery Bethany is now 27 was almost abducted. She escaped being abducted by her skinny little butt because they blocked her car in and got out and was trying to make her get in the car and there was about this much room and because she's 510 and 115 lbs. She slid through there and had I mean she had to run around away from the guy, slip through and run in. They were trying to grab and throw her into the car. It just happened to be when I was running for a car, a big van swerves into the lane that Nancy and Faith are driving down. And when she gets out, it's only a two-lane road. Traffic going opposite directions. She swerves over the other lane, it follows her. She swerves back, it follows her. Right before they hit head on, she gets around. I can't imagine what may have happened to my wife and daughter. The the battle we're in is is so that I'm saying these things to make you realize they are that real. Life or death and they're going to get more so in the days ahead. Life or death. A lot of people are finding out it was a life or death choice to take that vaccine. People are dropping dead like flies. People I told don't take it. I told my sister not to take it. She took it. You dead. Bob tells people at his work, "Don't take it. Don't take it." They took it and died. How many people took it at your workplace and died? Six. Six or seven people. We We've been talking with some people that run the morgs. One of the guys here know Alabama was one of the guys that had been pulling those long things out of people's veins that took the shot. I'm just saying it was the devil telling people it was fear telling people you better listen to the media. You better listen to the NIH and Fouchy. And it was a demonic plan. Birth rates now are falling all over the world, plummeting. It was all planned and we knew it was all planned a long time ago. But people listen to the demons and to the demon-possessed people instead of
listening to people who know better. That's how they do it though. Some of them you need to quit watching that TV set. Think about everything they told us for four years was a lie. Everybody, the government, the media, academia, and now people are dying. Christians better start listening because if you get fooled into taking the mark of the beast because you're afraid you won't be able to eat or your children won't be able to eat or whatever, you won't be able to go to the doctor or whatever. If you get if you let fear talk you into taking the mark of the beast instead of listening to what the word of God says, do not take it, you just damned your soul to hell for eternity. And it can be from a simple thought and you being passive with it that oh you've taken Martin and there's no coming back from that one. There's no forgiveness. And there's going to be people like me telling people, "Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it." And there's people going to be, "Oh, no. This is just another form of like, you know, it's just another credit card. Like, it's just going to be in my hand or my head. Okay. Then they're going to find out that they can take over their mind and body, make them do things that they don't want to do. See, passivity leads to being controlled by evil things that you can't see. You cannot be passive, man. You cannot be lazy. I admit I'm lazy sometime. I don't want to go around anoint the house, pray over the house, the property. I get tired. I'm tired. I'm old. I want to sit on the couch. My wife would be like, "Don't you think you need to anoint the house with a lot of crazy activ? I know. I know. She's right. what I do anoint it does make a difference these things will you want to know you feel a lot of weird stuff going on your house you're having a lot of weird crazy dreams or there's a lot of accidents or fights going on and you probably need to anoint your house with oil and walk around and pray the Lord sanctify bind all the demons that's come in the people that's visited you or things you let in through the TV set or the phone and bind them and commanded to go out of your house. There's times you need to sanctify and seal your home and protect it. Anoint your children with
oil. Anoint your pets. I anointed my little holy last night. I'm so blessed now. And there he is casting down imaginations. Let's read this. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God through the pulling down of strongholds casting down imaginations. Ladies, imaginations that you're going to fix him. If he would just do this, this, this, and this what you want him to do, that's going to fix him. You cannot fix him. That is an imagination from hell. God is the only one that can fix him. If you would give up trying to fix him and use your meek and quiet spirit and pray for him that God would get him, guess what? You're going to see more fruit out of praying for your husband than trying to push him and nag him and constantly bombard him with what he's doing wrong and say and trying to fix him. But men on the other side, most of the stuff they say about you is right. So quit being [Music] stubborn. Cuz 99 times out of 100, the woman's right. You're lazy. Stubborn. Don't want to say you're wrong about anything. I still do it. I want I look at myself sometimes it's like I step for myself and look at myself and go what is wrong with you. Why are you still this way? You still got to grow up to that girl. This way a lot of people open the doors right here. Too much time on that thing. I remember when I first got Tik Tok, I realized I didn't need Tik Tok because I realized it was a demonic abyss. But there's good things on there. Okay, fine. But it's it's kind of like, you know, people dump their vitamins in the sewer, but the vitamins are in the sewer. And so you get this stuff. And I know there was absolutely no filter cuz I guess they figured out, oh, here's a man. Here comes all the scandal dress movement. I don't need to be looking at that. Don't need to be looking at it. These open doors to demons in your
life. I don't care if you're a Christian not. You want to know what opens doors? What you watch and listen to? That first one, this one, sexual sin. Any sexual sins. But the eyes, the ears are acting upon, any sexual sin will open the door to a demon to come in you and lodge in you. And if you're doing this, men or women, you're starting to put a wedge between you and your spouse. You can't decide, well, I just, you know, I love my wife and I don't cheat, but I can't figure it quit. It always leads elsewhere for us. Because what did the Bible say? If we behold his glory, we become what? Like it. So meaning what we look at, you become. It's why you need to stay in the word and not all this other stuff. Oult sins. I believe they watch Harry Potter. Well, there you go. Some people are into horror movies and satanic thinking movies. I don't understand that. Playing with Ouija boards, all this stuff. I played with Ouija boards when I was a teenager. Let me tell you something. I cast that demon out. When it left, I could feel it come up and out of me when I cast it out. Don't tell me it wasn't there. I gave place to it and he took it and he was in me and he had his little above, his little house there, his little room in my house and I had to cast him out. And and let me tell you, I had a spirit of divination. I could take divine rods and they could take my ring. My brother could. He could go out in the front yard. I could be in the backyard. He could hide my ring down in the grass. Anywhere out there, big yard, I could take a minion rod to find. I could take pendulums and tell you what card it was. I mean, I was a little divine. Then I realized once I got really saved and reading this and found out that's witchcraft. And I remember when I bound the spirits of divination and witchcraft, I felt them come out. You got to clean the house. Jesus said he give you the keys of the kingdom, binding and loosening. to combine the demons. I won't go through this quickly. I only got a few widgets. Jesus said that what they said this does not cast out devils for my veils above. What did he tell him? I cast out devils by the spirit of God. And if I do so, the kingdom of God has come unto you. And of course, this verse I love. Jesus said, "How else can one enter in to a strong man's house and spoil his goods except you first find the strong man who spoil his house?" You got to realize when you get married, you are bringing baggage from your past. Especially if you had sexual sin, occult sin, traumatic things happened to
you. Doors were opened and demons came in. Now, it doesn't mean you're fully possessed like Linda Blair. Ah, but it means that those demons have a right to be there and they pop up and make you think things you shouldn't. They make you say things you shouldn't. They are there to cause you problems and you can get rid of them. Some of them are there to make you sick. Some of them are there to kill you. Some of them are there to make you mentally insane. Some of them are make to make you violent. My wife has told many times because she had abortions, spirits of death and murder and suicide came into her and she would think about like overwhelming thoughts of committing suicide would come upon her. And I remember I saw those spirits manifest in her one day and I reached over and the Lord said, "It's the spirits of death and suicide." and I cast them out of her and it was I felt when they left the car and she'll tell you right now. She it it completely changed her. This stuff is real. I'm trying to get through this quick. I talked too much. I goofed around. Uh it says when evening was come, they brought on him many that were possessed with devils and he cast out the spirits with his word and healed all that were sick. Let's go to this. Possessed does not mean totally controlled. It means exercised by. It means they're doing something to you. They're exercising their power. Have to have a demon or to be vexed. That means to be tormented in some way. I can show you this right here. We'll just keep going. To be under the power of a demon. There are degrees of demon possession or demon infiltration. The daughter of Abraham in Luke 13 had one demon. Mary Magdalene has seven demons leave her. The gathering man had a legion thousands of demons. You, most of us, before we understand deliverance and do it, we're not the gathering man. But if you keep playing with enough sin and evil stuff, you can end up there. Most I mean even psychologist psychiatrists will tell you that most people end up in the psych ward because of sexual sin or perversion or they mess and played around with the occult. Now this is secular people are not saved. They will tell you that's the two main reasons people are in mental institutions right there. So you can get there if you want to. But the the daughter of Abraham that had one demon, it was just a spirit of infirmity sickness. It gave her an arthritic, crippling thing and when it was cast out, she was healed. I I believe you're going to be healed. I do Mary Magdalene
had seven demons leave her. We don't have the details of that in Luke 8, but we know that the disciples were able to see obviously seven demons go out in her. She wasn't uh breaking chains and cutting herself and spitting and crying out. You see, there's a difference. Like I said, the gathering demonic. So, there's degrees of this being vexed or exercised or influenced by demons. You can let one or two in your house or you can let thousands in. Uh I would advise you not to let thousands in. Um gets pretty wild there. And then here's the scriptures. I'm just going to scroll through them. There's your one demon. Luke 13 you're saying blue day and I wasn't doing thousands on this show. All right, but think about the kids now that are cutting themselves. So you go to Nigeria, like I've been to Nigeria, they got people, they don't they don't have a lot of places to put the people that are cutting themselves and breaking chains. They actually send a chain to trees outside of churches because they're praying, fasting for them to get healed and set free and they don't know what to do with them. So this keep them from hurting people. They chain them to trees until they get free. Imagine if we did that in our church. Ah, the press would cover me then. There be no censorship on Facebook. Luke 7:21. In that same hour, he cured many of their infirmities and plagues and of evil spirits, and many that were blind, he gave sight. And certain women gave two certain women which have been healed of evil spirits and infirmities Mary called Magdalene out of whom would set seven devils. And it's interesting you really set somebody free that's been tormented and they will love you forever for it because uh it's just it's deliverance ministry is a hard thing to do but it's also a beautiful thing because uh it's worth it to see the change in people's lives. Anyway, here's the word interesting for heal there. Sarah Po or uo, that's where we get the word therapy from. So, this is God's therapy. It's deliverance. Amen. Amen. You don't need to go to counseling. Just secular counselor is the worst thing you can do. They don't know anything. They don't address the demonic side of stuff. And most psychological stuff you're going through, most, not all, but most, is demonic thoughts or demonic strongholds in there that need to be cast out. So there's the word therapy and the spirit of the Lord sent us first to preach deliverance to the
captives. We whoever's having the problem needs to hear this talk so they have faith. They got to have faith in the word, not Pastor Dean or anybody else. Thank you. and then they can be set at liberty while we don't cast demons out of unsaved people. Because when the unclean spirit is gone out of man, he walks through dry places seeking rest to find none. Then he saith, I will return into my house for once I came out and when he's come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then go with he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself. David entered and dwell there in the last state of that man worse than the first. This right here, it's not even casting demons out of an unsaved person should be a rare instance. It's very special occasions you do it. I'm not going to get into that. But what do we know about the uh deliverance? It's the children's bread. You are looked at as a house. Here's the one demon in the house. There's one outside the house, right? And you can go to few more. We're coming on in there. keep playing around. Then of course that was me. I had a lot I had a lot of sexual sin in my life. I had traumatic things when I was a child. I had all kinds of stuff. Drugs. So you neither give place to the devil. Be sober be vigilant because your adversary the devil has the Lord walketh about seeking whom he may devour. Who is he devour? The weak, the ones who are passing, the ones who stray from the flock, that's the ones they take down first. He that digth the pit shall fall into it. And who so brick of the hedge the serpent will bind it. If you open a door, you're going to get a demon. And it doesn't leave. When you ask for forgiveness, you have to bind it and command it to leave in Jesus' name. So if you commit adultery, you open the doors to the spirits of boredoms, lust, perversion, adultery. Repenting of that sin, if you truly repent and ask Jesus to forgive you, he will wash you clean. The sin will be gone, but the demon will still be there. This is why so many people end up going back to the same sin over and over because they don't get free from the demon. And Jesus said, "We must cast it out." He's not doing that part for us. So he says, "What fellowship?" You know what is an idol anything? A physical idol? It's just a piece of metal or wood or stone. But he tells him that if they commit idolatry, they are worshiping and having fellowship. And that's the same word coinia fellowship and greed that you have with the Holy Spirit. Where does the Holy Spirit come when you are born again and get filled with the Holy Spirit? He comes in you. That's called fellowship with the Holy Spirit. If you
fool around with this stuff, like the Catholics worshiping Mary, bowing the statues of the Pope and stuff, they're fellowshipping with demons and they're opening doors to the devil and that's why they stay deceived. The woman outside the Jesus went and departed the coast of Ty and Side on him. Behold, a woman of Canaan came out with the same co and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, oh Lord, thou son of David. My daughter is grievously vexed with the devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she cries after us. But he answered, said, I am I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Now, so many people get this mixed up, but this what was this woman asking for? She was asking for the demons to be cast out of her daughter. She was asking for deliverance ministry. And Jesus didn't even look her way. Now, if I did that, somebody be all mad and be on the internet somewhere, right? If I just kept walking. But he kept walking because he going to teach them a lesson. And he when he said, see, before Jesus went to the cross, he was still operating under the old covenant. So the lost sheep of the house of Israel, he was talking about people who were Israelites. So they were in the covenant, but they were just deceived and not walking in the truth, but they were still the blood covenant people of God. And he said, "I can't do this before God's people, not for God, people that are outside." And he clarifies it when he says, "Then came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me." But he answered and said, "It is not me, or it is not right to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs." And she said, "Truth, Lord, yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the master's table." Then Jesus answered and said unto her, "Oh, woman, great is thy faith. Be it unto thee, even as thou wilt." And her daughter was made whole from that hour. Meaning her daughter got the demons cast out of her by Jesus. Now, he did it from a distance. I bet it from a distance sometime. I'm praying over somebody who was fully psychotic mode and they cried out from I was across town. Dean's praying for me. I'm like, yep. This right here though proves it when he says it's not right to take the children's deliverance from demons and cast it to the dogs that dogs was he wasn't calling or you know wolf wolf. He was saying hey you're outside the covenant and it's not right for me to do this for you because if I do it and you're not under the blood covenant of protection I'm going to make you worse. Your house will be empty. You won't have any protection. This is why deliverance is the children's bread. It's for you. Now, as a married couple, if you don't choose to eat this bread, you are going to be in trouble. You are going to be passive. You're going to allow the demons, the
baggage you brought into your marriage, some you gained after you got married, you're going to let them tear you apart. We cannot be passive. Say, "Pastor Dean, I just don't think our problems. I just think our problems because my husband's stubborn." Well, he might be stubborn because the devil's putting thoughts in his head and he's being passive and letting all that imaginations of Satan stay in there. Maybe if we got rid of that, he wouldn't be so stubborn. I'm not as stubborn as I used to be. Let me tell you, let me tell you a little story. And I've been through a lot of deliverance in my life. I went through satanic ritual abuse. I don't wish that on anybody. I still not it's it's still left its mark on my life. But I'll tell you this, I was starting to feel like something was trying to kill me, like I was wasting away. I couldn't explain. I was losing weight. I couldn't explain it. I was getting weak. I could fitness. But this is after CO. Well, after CO and I was just I was like, what is going on? And one night I came into the room and say, she didn't tell me this. She probably thought I wouldn't believe her, but I know she has the gift of discerning spirits, but she said I turned. Was it the left side of my face? But she said that when I standing beside the bed, she said I turned and she saw like this part of my face disappear. It was like a skeleton. It's like like the Terminator look. And I don't know if it was a few weeks later or a couple of months or whatever, but I was praying. I said I was just Lord, what is going on? I'm feeling like I'm just I'm wasting away. And the Lord told me, he said, "You inherited a wasting spirit from your mother." And I knew my mom had problems with like anorexia, bulimia when she was younger. And then she had cancer and then she couldn't really eat. She had swallowing problem. So she got really, really, really thin. And I never really thought that what my mother was going through was demonic. But see, there was a spirit of death that had killed my grandfather. Three years later, it killed my grandmother. And I believe it was chasing my mom. And I never dealt with that with her because I could I I led her to Jesus, but I never was able to get her to do the deliverance thing. And she finally wasted away to nothing and she died. Now, she was saved and she went to heaven. And there's no question in my mind. I know she's there. I've seen her in there. But the Lord showed me a generational curse that was trying to kill
me. And she saw it, what it looked like. Just like skeleton with flesh hanging off just wasted away. And I bound that demon and broke that generational curse off me and repented of some things of the way I would eat. And I had to change some things. But I got my weight back. I got my health back. I feel better. It's gone. I'm not wasting weight. In fact, I probably need to lose some right here. But I'd rather have to be losing some than end up like my mom. My mom got to the point where she was only 64 years old. She couldn't walk up the stairs. Uh, and then with her problems, you know, her heart just couldn't deal with it anymore. She She probably weighed 80 lbs her grass when she passed away. So, deliverance is an important thing. Let me just get to this one. My wife's telling my time's up, but I'll take a little more. I just want to quote one. That right there, there's your doorways. Seven main doorways, not eight, for demons to come into your life that you need to deal with. Generational curses, childhood trauma/abuse, occult, pagan practices, sexual sins, oaths, vows, and curses from parents, grandparents. It could be Freemasonry or whatever witchcraft, but even vows you've said over your life like, "I wish I would die. physical touch, blame on hands, close associations with bad people that transfer things to you, and certainly unforgiveness and bitterness, but I dealt with that. Anyway, get the demons out of your marriage. Amen. Love y'all. [Applause]
