Lyrics

Intro — spoken

In the beginning, God made heaven and earth. Before textbooks or satellites, There was the Word. Genesis one. Read it again.

Chorus

Break out the matrix, open your eyes, God stretched the heavens, set lights in the skies. Earth stood firm while the heavens turned, We trusted the system, forgot what we learned.

Waters above us, foundations below, Sun for the daytime, moon for the glow. Call me a fool, but Scripture stays true— Let God be true, every man see it through.

Verse 1 — Genesis

Genesis one, first page, first frame, Earth was already there before sunlight came. Dark on the deep, Spirit moved on the face, Then God spoke light into ordered space.

Day number two, let the waters divide, Firmament raised with the waters outside. Waters below and the waters above, Then sun, moon, stars by the word of His love.

Placed in the firmament, signs for the years, Seasons and days—the order is clear. Made to give light on the earth from above, Creation has purpose, design, and a Judge.

Chorus

Verse 2 — Firmament

Job thirty-seven: the sky spread strong, Like a molten mirror—was Scripture wrong? Ezekiel saw crystal over the throne, Psalm one-forty-eight says waters remain above.

Genesis called the firmament Heaven, Not endless vacuum or man's invention. A boundary stretched by Almighty command, Creation established exactly as planned.

Verse 3 — Earth Established

Psalm ninety three: the world is established, It shall not be moved—why quickly dismiss it? Psalm one-oh-four, foundations beneath, First Chronicles says the same thing we read.

Yet we're told we're spinning a thousand an hour, Orbiting faster by invisible power, Racing through space while Polaris stays north, And stars make circles in nightly course.

Maybe the heavens are moving instead, Just as the prophets said. Don't bend every verse till the textbook agrees— Let Scripture speak first, then test what we see.

Verse 4 — Sun and Moon

Joshua commanded the sun: “Stand still,” And moon stopped too by Almighty will. Habakkuk three says sun and moon stayed, Ecclesiastes says the sun runs its way.

Psalm nineteen: like a bridegroom it runs, Circuit through heaven—the course of the sun. Again and again the language is plain: Earth is established while lights make their way.

Chorus

Verse 5 — Circle and Canopy

Isaiah forty, verse twenty-two: He sits on the circle—the wording is true. He stretches the heavens just like a curtain, Spreads them like tents—the picture is certain.

Face of the earth, breadth of the land, Ends and four corners throughout His command. Revelation twenty speaks breadth once again— Why force a new picture back into the text?

Breakdown — dark

They told you you're nothing, A speck in the black, An accidental creature With no purpose attached.

Random blue marble, One among trillions— But Scripture says earth Was designed for His children.

Verse 6 — Test the Evidence

Images stitched, composites made, Horizons bend when the lenses are changed. High-altitude footage can look level and straight, Yet questioning the model draws hate.

Engineering documents use stationary ground, Flat-reference models when calculations come 'round. That proves nothing alone—test what you've seen, Don't trust every claim or worship the screen.

First Thessalonians five: prove all things, Hold fast to good, bow only to the King. Truth has no fear—bring assumptions to light.

Verse 7 — Revelation

Sixth seal opens—creation will shake, Sun turns black and the heavens will break. Moon becomes blood, stars fall to earth, Heaven rolls back like a scroll from its berth.

Kings start hiding, the mighty all flee, From Him on the throne and the Lamb they now see. If stars are giant suns, how fall they below? But inside this framework the pieces all flow.

Heaven departs, the King is revealed, Every proud kingdom exposed. What Genesis started, Revelation completes: The Maker returns and creation will speak.

Final Verse

This ain't about winning arguments online, It's whether God's Word bows to theories of time. If Genesis means what Genesis says, Then creation points upward to heaven instead.

Satan's first question: “Did God really say?” Same ancient whisper in a modern-day way. I choose the Scriptures, whatever the cost, Even when wisdom is mocked by the lost.

Let God be true though the whole world lies, He numbered the stars and established the skies. Call it a matrix, a veil, or a fraud— Creation still testifies: there is a God.

Final Chorus

Break out the matrix, open your eyes, God stretched the heavens, set lights in the skies. Earth stood firm while the heavens turned, We trusted the system—now back to the Word.

Waters above us, foundations below, Sun for the daytime, moon for the glow. Heaven and earth may someday pass through, But the words of the Lord will forever stay true.

Outro — spoken

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Start there.
