Lyrics

(The Protest Isn’t Over)

Intro — Spoken

John saw a woman riding the beast, Purple and scarlet, deceiving the kings. A golden cup—but corruption within, And Heaven cried out, “Do not share in her sin.”

Verse 1

They say, “Forget doctrine, just unite in love,” But truth didn’t fall—it was sent from above. Seducing spirits with a beautiful sound, Fair words and speeches while they’re pulling you down.

Paul said guard what was placed in your hands, Mark false teaching, take a biblical stand. John said don’t bless what denies what is true, Or the evil they spread becomes part of you.

A little bit of leaven runs through the whole bread, So test every spirit by the words Jesus said. True humility isn’t a mask looking meek— Christ humbled Himself and obeyed completely.

Pre-Chorus

Love without truth is a counterfeit light, Unity with error doesn’t make error right. If another gospel tries to enter the door, Remember the warning and what Heaven implored—

Chorus

Come out of her, My people, come out of her ways, Don’t drink from the cup and then call it My grace. Purple and scarlet, with the kingdoms in bed, But the Lamb that was slain is alive from the dead.

Come out of her, My people—the protest’s not done, There is one Mediator, there is only one Son. No throne above Scripture, no name before His— Jesus is Lord, and the kingdom is His.

Verse 2

Seven hills underneath her, a cup in her hand, Kings intoxicated in every nation and land. Cardinals in scarlet and bishops in purple, Gold on the altar while the martyrs were murdered.

Called herself mother, called herself the gate, Placed human tradition where the Word should have stayed. Prayers to the saints, asking Mary to save, While Christ alone conquered death and the grave.

Reformers stood firm when the fire was lit, They would not call holy what the Bible condemned. Blood on the pages, but the truth traveled on— The night couldn’t silence the light of the dawn.

Chorus

Verse 3

There is one Mediator between God and man, Not a pope, not a priest, not the works of our hands. No queen up in Heaven distributing grace— We come through the blood and behold Jesus’ face.

No man can command Christ to enter the bread, He rose from the tomb and He reigns overhead. The table remembers the price that He paid; We worship in Spirit and truth—not what hands made.

No beads and no mantra can purchase release, No image we fashion can manufacture peace. The Word is sufficient, the Spirit still leads, And salvation is Christ—not traditions and deeds.

Pre-Chorus

Chorus

Verse 4

They say, “Break bread; all division must cease.” But agreement with idols is counterfeit peace. They say, “Don’t be harsh; don’t expose; don’t divide.” But the sword of the Word cuts the darkness from light.

A spiritual feeling does not make something true; Signs must be tested by the Word given to you. An angel of light can still carry a lie— So cling to the Scriptures and keep open eyes.

Come out of the system; come back to the Son, Come out of the shadows; the victory is won. You don’t need another standing between— The veil has been torn and the sinner made clean.

Bridge

Come out of her idols, her cup, and her throne; The Shepherd still calls every wandering one home. Not hatred for people—we’re fighting the lie, So souls can find Jesus and nevermore die.

The saints may be hated, the truth may be banned, But Babylon’s towers were built upon sand. Called, chosen, faithful—we stand with the Lamb; Every false kingdom will fall where it stands.

Breakdown — Spoken

The woman rides the beast—but only for a season. The horns will turn against her when God completes His reason. She may boast like a queen and say judgment won’t come, But the Lamb will overcome—for He is Lord of lords.

Chorus

Final Chorus — Repeat with layered choir

Outro — Spoken

Scripture alone. Through faith alone. By grace alone. In Christ alone.

“Come out of her, My people.”
