Lyrics

[Intro: Bare Piano, Spoken With Space] You do not have to clean yourself before you come to Jesus. But when you come... come honestly.

[Verse 1: Slow Reflective Rap, Short Lines] Genesis one— God made us for Himself. Mark twelve: love Him heart, soul, mind and might— We were made to know our Maker, walk with Him in life.

But we chose another throne. Every one of us has strayed. Romans three, twenty-three: all have sinned and missed His grace. No comparison can clear us. No religion pays the debt. Romans six, twenty-three: sin earns death—remember it.

[Build: Drums Enter, Cadence Tightening] This Gospel is not advice to make a decent man improve; It is news that God came down for those who could not move. Not a ladder we constructed, not a wage for being good. God is holy. We were guilty. The Son stood in our place.

[Hook: Soulful Gospel Choir, Strong Rap Lead] Come honestly—bring the guilt you could not hide. Come honestly—the Son of God was crucified. Come honestly—He left the grave and lives today. Mercy cannot be purchased; Jesus paid the way. No mask. No bargaining. Nothing held apart. Come honestly—He wants the truth inside your heart.

[Verse 2: Driving Rap, Clear Scripture Citations] John three, sixteen: God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that those believing might be saved. First Corinthians fifteen, verses one through four: Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, then He rose upon the third day— Not a metaphor for hope: the stone was rolled away.

God manifest in flesh, spotless, bore our blame. Romans five says while we still were sinners, Jesus came. Justified now by His blood, rescued from the wrath; Love did not ignore God's justice—Christ fulfilled its demand.

[Verse: Rapid-Fire Double-Time, Tight Internal Rhymes] You cannot merit forgiveness by charity, pedigree, ceremony, heritage, effort or moral comparison; karma cannot cancel a crime against holiness, reincarnation cannot transform rebellion to innocence. Religion polishes the surface; pride keeps hearts imprisoned; Ephesians two: grace through faith, not works—His gift is given. He descended, was wounded and buried, then shattered the verdict of death by His rising; no priesthood, achievement or penance can add to the blood or improve on the price He supplied us. First John one, seven through nine: walk in the light, quit disguising it, confess it—He faithfully cleanses; not because sin is minor, but Jesus is mighty, the payment sufficient, His mercy relentless. Abandon the posture that sounds like surrender while guarding your idols; a prayer without faith is noise—He calls for your heart and your life, not a title.

[Break: Music Stops, One Breath]

[Verse: Heavy Half-Time, Forceful Pauses] Repent. Not regret.

Not fear of consequence.

Turn from sin. Leave self-rule.

Trust the Savior. Follow through.

No magic wording. No practiced part.

God hears truth from a broken heart.

[Verse 3: Warm Boom-Bap, Gradually Rising] Mark one, fourteen and fifteen: repent, believe the news. Acts two, thirty-eight: turn and call upon the Truth. Stop defending what He calls sin; step into the light of grace.

Gone too far? Hear the answer Jesus gave: "Him that cometh unto Me I will in no wise cast away." The blood is not exhausted; call sincerely on His name.

But grace is not permission to return to chains again. John three: born of Spirit—this is where new life begins. Second Corinthians five: in Christ, creation made anew; Old things pass—not instant perfection, but a different road pursued.

[Bridge: Choir Call and Response] Can my good works make me right? [Choir: No—the gift is grace.] Can empty words replace belief? [Choir: No—come seek His face.] Can Christ forgive the worst I've done? [Choir: Confess and trust the Son.] What follows being born again? [Choir: Take the cross and follow Him.]

[Final Verse: Victorious Escalation] Luke nine, twenty-three: deny yourself and bear the cross. Read His Word, pray, obey; be baptized in Jesus' name; Walk with faithful saints, depend upon the Spirit every day. When you stumble, bring it to the light and rise again. Changed living cannot buy salvation; it reveals the root.

Second Corinthians four, verse five: Jesus Christ the Lord, Not vague encouragement, not "find the god within"; The King came down, the blood poured out, the tomb could not hold Him. No other name—Acts four, twelve—can save the human soul. So come without pretending. Let the Savior make you whole.

[Final Hook: Full Choir, Bright Organ and Drums] Come honestly—bring the guilt you could not hide. Come honestly—the Son of God was crucified. Come honestly—He left the grave and lives today. Mercy cannot be purchased; Jesus paid the way. No mask. No bargaining. Nothing held apart. Come honestly—He gives the sinner a new heart.

[Outro: Piano Alone, Spoken] Jesus came to save sinners. He died for our sins. He rose from the dead. Repent. Believe. Follow Him. Jesus is still calling.
